I’ve stayed many times at this location throughout the years while travelling through the US and it’s quality is consistent The rooms are clean, the hotel staff are polite, and the breakfast is solid The bathroom was left mostly clean although the staff missed some details

The shower has adequate pressure and lots of hot water but it did squeak when it was being used Overall a great stay and I look forward to coming back again

I spent one night last Wednesday at this Hyatt Parking was so convenient I was pleasantly greeted upon entering by Austin who was so friendly and professional

Check in was a breeze- literally less than 5 minutes Austin directed me to the bar area and market My room was on the 4th floor It was beautiful and clean I have to say that I slept the best I have in months It was extremely quiet Everything I needed was in the room and enjoyed not having to leave the room for a cup of coffee in the morning I would highly recommend this hotel Also, you are very fortunate to have such an incredible employee as Austin on your team Thanks so much for making my stay so safe and comfortable

Dave Osthoff

I will start by saying our room was perfect, as was the sausage eggs and biscuits/gravy the next morning! Other comments about the hallways are accurate The hallways reeked of pot, which really comes of no surprise and seems to be the norm anymoreI booked the room by calling this hotel directly the day before our stay

The person at the front desk that took my call did not know how to spell when repeating information back to me I don’t think Hyatt has many qualifications required for that positionUpon our check-out, I decided to switch payment methods The employee at the front desk (different person this time) charged me 3 additional times on my old payment method, deposit the same amount as a refund into my new payment method, and refunded only one of the charges to my old payment method It took one operator plus that person’s manager on the phone to clear things upWe don’t stay at hotels often, so, of course we would stay again because the room was nice as was our sleep Very comfortable bedding, I should mention

Had my daughter’s wedding shower in the restaurant on the top floor Absolutely beautiful view We couldn’t open the windows or really utilize the outside space because of the weather but was still great

We had buffet lunch – 6 different small bites items and each was tasty Loved the cream cheese cucumber sandwich especially Lots of staff dedicated to us and everyone was very friendly and helpful

The location of this hotel is fantastic Hotel parking is valet only and it’s $25 We asked for extra towels when we checked in and never got them

We stayed in a deluxe king room The room was clean and nicely appointed, but small I shudder to think of what the micro rooms are like size wise I don’t know what size the bed was It was larger than a queen, but it definitely wasn’t a standard 76″ wide kingThe weeknight price wasn’t bad for the room But I’d drop dead before I’d pay what they’re charging for a weekend stay

Victoria Morningstar-Poole

I really enjoyed my stay here It was only for a night but I had wished it was for a bit longer afterwards There is so much to do around this hotel and get to experience from shopping to great food

My room was clean and had everything I needed I loved how nicely stocked the coffee and tea was I also thought it was nice they had a bottle of water supplied Everyone was so helpful and kind at the hotel and checkin was very easy as well as understanding the valet parking that is offered

We really enjoyed this sweet boutique hotel First, the staff was friendly and helpful Front desk was informative and efficient

Housekeeping was quick to respond and rooms were clean Don’t ever lose those great dreads:) and smile(you know who I mean) Second, the valet parking had good communication and service Shout out to Mica I’d trust him with my ride any day Lastly, location Close to exits and walking distance to all the cool things in downtown Pitt They were doing some remodeling but it wasn’t a hassle You are going to rock even more when it is finished! Keep up the good vibes I’ll definitely stay there again when visiting Rock On!!

Room was very small, bed was comfortable though Temperature was perfect, the lobby was beautiful very nice decor and wonderful staff There is a beautiful terrace on the 10th floor with an amazing view of the city

It was really in the perfect location, target and LA Fitness was 8 minutes away so it was very convenient The only big issue I had was there was NO parking, I had to leave my car on the street they only had three stops and one of them was for an electric car and handicap The lots are so expensive, 25$ every time to go in and out so parking at meters and leaving my car three blocks away was SUPER annoying and honestly a big deal breaker for meThere is no microwave in the room, but you can use the lobby I am a Graduate student so I had to go down to heat up my food every day which was also annoying My room also did not have a blow dryer, but the front desk would have gave me another one I just never called back The stay was very comfortable, and the hotel was very clean Amazing and friendly staff!!

cam ,

It’s easier to mention what’s bad since most is good First of all, I’ve never ever had a front desk attendant as rude & useless as the accented, bearded, tall black man who checked us in This is not rooted in racism, all the other black employees were incredible

The room was really tiny for a king suite $35 for valet and $25 for self park is absolutely unacceptable, should have a free option of some kind Restaurant/bar wasn’t openPretty clean, location is best in city, rooftop deck was nice Very, very comfy bed Shower was awesome Modern Security was great, felt quite safe Internet was pretty quick Very clean area

After driving 15 hours decided to call it a day and book a hotel online that was pet friendlyDecided on this this hotel 1 bedroom $149 with $50 non refundable pet fee plus taxesA guy working the front desk named Tim look incredibly annoyed with me checking in and especially that I had a pet

10lb dogHe felt the need to argue the pet fee with me saying it’s $75 and I had to tell him it was not that on the website it says $50Go to the room 128 he calls and goes I looked it up it is 75$ non refundable, at this point I look it up again thinking maybe I made a mistakeThis is what it says on their website “traveling with pets allows $50 non refundable 1-4 nights , $75 for 5 plus nightsI honestly did not feel comfortable staying at this hotel or welcomedThe beds are uncomfortableThe pillows are oldAround 5:30am you can hear this crashing sound whenever someone uses the watersYou can hear the person in the room next door full conversation talking, this is not a room with adjoining doors so the walls are thinI would not recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a peaceful check in and easy sleep before travelingIt lacks customer services, basic amenities “bar soap”, and the beds are extremely uncomfortableTheir gym looks nice, pool and front lobby, but I didn’t book a hotel to use any of these things

This hotel was great! My daughter’s wedding was at Eden Hall and we are from Cincinnati, so Stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Cranberry for 4 days My son-n-law reserved a block of rooms for the wedding party and the staff were great to all of us This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in

The staff was great! The waitress at breakfast was very friendly and attentive to our needs Tim the assistant manager was awesome!! He took care of us and we were a busy group I cannot say enough about how great this hotel We will definitely stay again and recommend this hotel to others

Tony Sabo

Excellent stay at this hotel As a diamond member, I felt appreciated right away At the front was JuJu who checked me in flawlessly and quickly while also recommending not only several high end restaurants in the area, which I needed for clients, but a few dive bars which I needed for myself and a few friends later on in the evening

The hotel itself was spotless as well as my room I can’t say enough about the people running the front desk and the bar There are a lot of choices in the area, but with these kind of people running the show, I’ll be back!

Found a bedbug in my room immediately upon checking in Thankfully the front desk employee was extremely apologetic and switched me to another room immediately, but I was skeeved out for the rest of my stay In the second room, the deadbolt did not work and the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor due to poor curtain design

I expect better for a Courtyard Friendly & accommodating staff is what saved this from being a one star review

Janina B.

As expected the room was clean The king size bed was comfortable I checked in really late, close to 4 am and check in was a breeze

They have full sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash which I think is a plus! The towels were clean but could maybe use a little more fabric softener but it was okay It served its purpose The room didn’t have a microwave and that is why I rated the room wirh 4 stars but that was my fault because I assumed that the room had its own microwave oven So I had to eat my packed meal cold which was okay I am pretty sure they have something downstairs to warm up meals because their marketplace/store offered frozen tv dinnners and cup of soups that would require a micorwave oven so I think that they probably have something to warm up meals with but I didn’t bother asking the front desk since it was so late at night and didn’t want to bother the staff Overall, my stay was close to perfect

I called the hotel the morning of to see if they could accommodate early check in- which they couldn’t and that’s ok The lady that answered the phone was SO friendly and so helpful Our whole experience was wonderful

From checking in to checking out I have zero complaints The room was big and very clean The bathroom was HUGE Free breakfast – waffles, bagels, coffee and so much more Will definitely stay here again if I am in the area Thank you!

Ci Ci

the staffs are really nice here, like Lucy and Alex, five star service, they are so friendly and kind the building is only 6 years old, very clean and comfortable the reason I give 4 star is the bed (room 324) was little too soft that my back was hurting a little when I got up the next morning, probably need replacement

The team at Mansions on Fifth is unmatched Rebecca, Zach, Gabby, Adam, and the entire crew made our perfect day so special! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding ceremony and reception, and are so happy that we chose Mansions on Fifth to host Our guests loved the history of the venue and how inviting the space and the staff is

They were extremely accommodating and were able to assist us with our every need The food was incredible – we can’t stop thinking about the almond crusted chicken and all of the courses that were served I can’t recommend this venue and team enough to host weddings and events for anyone looking for an elegant, grand, and inviting space to host your guests Thank you so much for making our day so perfect!

Madison Marie

My husband and I were married here in 2019 It was AMAZING The entire staff did a wonderful job – especially Zach! The hotel is positively beautiful, and we all enjoyed staying here for our wedding weekend

Everything was so clean and wonderfully decorated We were served a dinner at our reception as well as a breakfast the morning after, and both were delicious Mansions on Fifth will forever hold special place in our hearts, and I love coming back to visit whenever I’m in Shadyside If you’re a bride-to-be looking for an intimate, classy, and timeless wedding venue, definitely consider Mansions on Fifth

Miriam Parson

Disappointing A couple paintings do not counterbalance the cheap cafe tables and chairs, the unsophisticated bar service, and the overall lack of ambiance I expected leather and grace, and instead found dirty hotel chairs and uneducated bar service

As a local, I will say that there are far more elegant spaces in our city A couple thousand invested would provide leather seating and marble tables to match the marketing Right now this space does not represent our city’s gilded age or any age

This hotel is relatively new and the lobby is modern and bright The room is very spacious, which includes 2 queens bed and a sofa bad The fully equipped kitchen is well maintained and included all necessary utensils and tools needed

The bathroom seems thoroughly clean before our check in, however, the office chair and sofa bed had noticeable and visible dirt / stink marks on them The front desk stuff (Sam) was very friendly and helpful during the check in process Room key is required to access the elevator, so extra security protection for guests Lots of food choice for breakfast The hot dishes were kept hot and refilled promptly Not a bad experience, but hoping they will be more careful about the stink / dirt, especially during the pandemic

Kyle Arbogast

Traveled to the area knowing whats around for a little family vacation Loved everything about the hotel except a couple small issues Hotel itself very clean and nice looking

Rooms are very spacious Only issues i had was they let people outside on the patio drink and party till after midnight and make a ton of noise and then running up and down the hallways and slamming doors shut Breakfast is very good and lots of options

I had stayed at this hotel for 2 nights due to business training The staff is very inviting and helpful My room was clean, well kept and had everything I needed

Unfortunately, the pool was “down for maintenance” but there seemed to be no one working towards opening it back up Other wise, the stay was great and those who have posted awful reviews are just haters who expect everything to be done for them I thank the whole staff department for such a great stay and I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an affordable night and good experience!

Janani Ravi

Amazing stay The staff was so, so friendly and accommodating I don’t have pets but it’s a pet friendly hotel

Despite pets being in rooms, the rooms were spotless and smelled fresh I slept so well and didn’t even want to get out of bed The only con and the reason for 4 stars is the very disappointing breakfast I expected a warm breakfast and there was just toast, cereal, and muffins I really wasn’t impressed as usually IHG hotels have decent continental breakfast Regardless, I loved my stay and would definitely stay again!

Hailey Miesel

Best hotel experience I’ve ever had! We are here for a few weeks due to a house fire and it feels as close to home as you can get The staff is amazing Rooms super clean, amazing breakfast, even social evenings 3 nights per week where they serve food and alcohol

Special shout out to Abby, she has made my stay amazing she attends to every need and even anticipates our needs and fulfills them Wonderful service from the desk to the housekeeping Thank you staybridge!

I really appreciated the valet staff being especially patient with us loading and offering to help! The room was exceptionally clean and even smelled super clean when we walked in It was great having the breakfast and kickback

Also loved the pool and hot tub! Thank you for being the best hotel around!

Vern Rogers

This is a great hotel for people attending a convention It is very convenient and you’ll save a great deal with the free breakfast and the evening snacks The room was clean – it’s nice to stay in a room where the HVAC doesn’t wake you up when it comes on

Some of the rooms have no view and look directly at a wall – but you probably aren’t spending time in the room to enjoy the view The fitness center is small, the pool is decent, and the rooftop deck is great when the weather is niceThe best part was the staff Everyone was professional and helpful I really appreciated Darnell – he does excellent work in the dining areaBefore you leave, make sure you go down to the basement to see the old vaults from the bank that used to occupy the building

K C

Our stay was amazing We had the best time and was a great location So close to everything

The free breakfast and dinner buffet was great also and the free drink vouchers I have to say the front desk had great staff but hands down Nina was so sweet and gave us lots of ideas to do while we were there She definitely went above and beyond her job and amazing She definitely deserves a raise We definitely will be back real soon and can’t wait to stay here again

I had a great stay here I was very comfortable and the hotel was a gracious host to the busy monster movie convention I came for The pool and gym areas look great

The lobby has a great seating area that’s nice for meeting friends and chattingThe restaurant was a little pricey But the food was very good I had the crab cakes and I highly recommend them Unfortunately, the food prices were so high I headed out to one of the dozens of nearby food optionsThe location is great! You can get downtown in no time and there’s a horde of shopping and eating options within a mile along with an easily accessible Giant Eagle for groceries (my personal GO TO is the chipped ham and hot bar)

Laura Inglis

Everything looks newly renovated Huge lobby area and decent sized restaurant The rooms are wonderful, very spacious and clean

Staff was great, very friendlyGood location, plenty of places to eat nearby and there is also a nice walking trail in a nearby parkThe only negative is coffee Very limited hours (they close at 11am) and $5 for a cup of regular coffee is outrageous There are plenty of places nearby (including multiple Starbucks) but if you need a midday or evening coffee you’ll need to plan for it The rooms do have coffee makers but that’s the one thing in the room that feels outdated

Joyfully His

We’ve stayed here several times over the last few years This past time was the last time The rooms were not cleaned properly, and there were black fingerprints on the mirror (??) The lobby, of course, makes you feel like you’re in some high-class hotel, but the quality and attention to detail stops there

Charging what they do per night and don’t offer breakfast or a genuine clean room? No thanks We don’t recommend anymore Across the street, you’ll find Marriott Towneplace Suites They are very clean AND they offer a great hot continental breakfast each morning Well worth the cost AND peace of mind!

Amelia the front desk is excellent, friendly and helpful However sofa bed and sofa in the room are not cleanWe checked in very late around 8 pm

She directed us where to get good with a list of restaurant in town After dinner , we came back to hotel room around 10 pm, and my son was very disappointed to find out the sofa bed mattress had a big dirty stainAmelia is very nice to change us to a different room with 2 queen beds immediately So my son does not need to stay on a sofa bed However we are disappointed again to find the sofa chair with 2 area of stain of urine I showed Amelia 2 pictures of urine stain At this time it’s 11 pm, we are too tired ! So I just asked Amelia to put on a note in my room so they won’t accuse my dog caused the stain and charged me extra After all, we have paid $75 for dog to stay and we bring in our own dog cage to keep the dog inAmelia just told me she did put my note in Hopefully this will bring the attention to the Marriott management team to do better cleaning Especially Amelia told me that there is inspector to inspect the sofa mattress before it’s folded inI told Amelia that I am Marriott Envoy member and stayed in many Marriott hotels when travel for last 3 years, This is the first Marriott hotel room with dirty sofa bed mattress and dirty sofa chair

Beautiful hotel and very clean, gorgeous pool 3ft to 5ft, hot tub and sauna Basketball court outside the pool room Exercise room and a fire pit with comfortable seating around

They even offer a free complimentary smore kit! Breakfast was hot and delicious with many choices for everyone, I think they had over 10 different toppings to choose from to add to your waffles or yogurt ect Pet friendly Location was amazing everything you can imagine within 10 miles or less!

I recently stayed at this hotelI have stayed at many Residence Inns around the United States This was one of the worst Residence Inns I have stayed in

Not because of noise, but the condition of the hotel is quite frankly in very poor shapeIn our bed/bathroom, there were several areas where the carpet was damaged, the walls were damaged and stained The door needed to be repainted, the toilet ran, stains were abundant all over the roomIn the living room, the furniture was stained and rippedThe breakfast was also NOT up to Residence Inn standards Using prepacked items left in their paper/plastic wrapping, in the warming stationsI will not stay at this Residence Inn again

This hotel rates among the mediocre of Hilton properties all aroundThe quick: for $100 it wasn’t the best Hilton brand hotel we’ve stayed in, but it wasn’t the worstThe long version:We stay exclusively on Hilton Properties because we find that we have the most success with them

We’ve never stayed at a Home2 Suites prior to this stay and I think we will continue to stick with Homewood Suites, or others, when possible instead We did like that this still had the “suite” feel and had a kitchenette and more of a studio like feel for the spaceFor us, on a personal note, this hotel had smoking and non smoking rooms as well as allowed pets However, they don’t have any rooms that are pet free So if you have common pet allergies that would be a concern, pick a different hotel to be safe They did advise they clean well and use a spray but I don’t think their version of clean would help someone with severe allergiesThis location had salted the walkways but not shoveled it The parking spaces and walkways were thick with slushy, mucky, and salt mixed snowUpon arrival, we were greeted not terribly, Just not very professionally We were checked in quickly, which was great I was able to get our free waters when I asked for them the next day, but they weren’t offered upon arrivalThe room was not the cleanest; there were splatter marks from something on at least one of the walls The bathroom door needs to be wiped down as it’s visually grimy (I was able to take a wash cloth and wipe away the prints and stains visually visible But how unsanitary it must be for them to neglect sanitizing such a common surface) There was food debris in the living room lounge area as well Basically, cleaning could use a little helpThere were only 3 pillows on a King bed instead of the usual 4 and there were no extras in the room anywhereA breakfast was available The set up is a bit crammed and people kept bumping into one another, but it wasn’t bad The breakfast is always a great amenity in our eyes even if it’s not the best food They generally have a pretty decent variety of foodI di love the Hilton Honors app so I could check us out on our own No stopping at the front desk

I can honestly say I would stay here over and over I had surgery today Aug 23rd,2022 and had to stay in hotel and the staff was amazing and helpful The place was very clean and the coffee is AMAZING

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL FOR YOUR STAY THANK YOU TO ALL THE STAFF I spoke to Glenn this evening and told him how I loved it here and I’m sorry I can’t remember the girls names but they were very sweet also to me I also like to say Glenn was very kind when I asked for a extra pillow for my stomach due to surgery

The facility itself is very nice Great location and close to restaurants We stayed here for a family reunion in Pittsburgh

We had a pleasant experience overall The rooms were very spacious and clean I enjoyed having a kitchen The breakfast bar was nice The man that ran the breakfast bar was extremely friendly and helpful! Great service! He even came in on his day off due to large crowds and staffing shortagesThey were really understaffed! We stayed a week and never got room service They said they didn’t have staff for it except every 4 days It never happened We had to ask for extra suppliesThere were some things that needed maintenance The back door lock didn’t work We had a gathering on the back patio and had to use a towel to prop open the door The lobby women’s bathroom paper towel dispenser didn’t work I mentioned it several times They put a roll of paper towels in but it didn’t last long I got tired of having to ask for more paper towelsHopefully they get more staff to help maintain thingsOne more thing, our room smelled like a wet dog had been there It wasn’t visibly dirty just smelly

The front desk team were very friendly and accommodating They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was wonderful I had no idea there were 2 weddings going on as the service was still perfect for me

However, I would be remiss if I didn’t speak on the breakfast buffet It was absolutely delicious! Hotels don’t provide this level of care to their customers anymore but The Doubletree in Cranberry does Ms Diane was so friendly and I had an opportunity to meet the chef and he was kind too Again, a great night’s sleep in a clean room, great customer service and delicious food give this hotel a try!

We were here for work, The Front Desk Staff were Great The wait staff at the Bar and Breakfast Table were great too, Enjoyed everything at this hotel The only complaint I would have is the people with kids that were there for a Hockey tournament need to be more respectful of other guests that would like to get a whole night’s sleep

The constant noise in the Hallway and the stomping on the floor in the room above mine, (Where did you learn to walk?)Kids overwhelm the elevators and other guests can’t even get on the elevator to get to their room, My Digital Key worked one time they even rest it and I ended up needing a room key card Not a big deal just wanted to point out how inconsiderate other guests can be

Family friendly hotel with spacious lobby and kid friendly pool Basic, but clean We purchased 3 rooms as a Gold HHonors Member

However, hotel policy only comps breakfast credit for 2 people max (even though 3 rooms with 6 total adults was purchased) Weird Would have rated higher Maybe book 3 separate reservations as a work around? Lady working bar was wonderful All considered, could see coming back with family

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking your hotel This web site will compare hundreds of hotel sites and usually will have rates a lot cheaper than others! You’re welcome :)! This hotel is the best rated in the area

I’ve been coming here for years If you stay for a few days you won’t regret itExcellent location (well, when downtown isn’t all construction but that’s not their fault) Rooms are nice, bathrooms cool, beds comfy Breakfast is amazing Pancakes are yummy, eggs were great Pool is small but works Highly recommend this hotel Will come back next time we are in The ‘Burgh

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL this is easily a 2 star hotel being masked with fancy decor I stayed there April 8th 2022, first off there are NO Vending machines on any floor, the bar has super over priced beer and hardly any selection

The room has outdated tech from the 90s, the bathroom was the only highlight The breakfast was 18 bucks for basic food not worth it The staff was great that’s about it But do yourself and a favor and never book here

We stayed in Pittsburgh for 3 days at the Cambria We thought it was a mistake when our room was not cleaned the first day We asked for service and they surprisingly asked “you mean clean the room?”

I asked for beds to be made and towels to be changed This was noted on the room file on the computer Or so we were told At my insistence they made the beds and changed the towels The next day my husband asked in the morning for the beds to be made and the towels changed (as a reminder) The front desk again noted it We came back from a long day out on the second day and found yet again nothing had been touched in the room I went downstairs and asked for the room to be serviced The abrupt and rude older gentleman at the counter explained “we don’t do that in Pittsburgh” He made it sound like it was unreasonable We paid over $200 plus $25 for parking a night and no breakfast included We did not book a cheap motel Why did we pick the Cambria we had wanted a nice little hotel with a pool to add insult to injury the pool was closed our whole stay and the sofa bed had a dangerous piece of metal sticking out of it the first nightIf you do not provide service to the room daily state it on your website I have a family and this little bit of service helps when travelling with kids I was struck by the inconsistent information from the front desk staff and the rudeness of the older man who I am assuming was the manager

Quiet and comfortable Appreciated the complimentary grab and go style breakfast (not big on buffets during covid) The staff was very friendly and welcoming I will definitely stay here again next time I am in town
