We had our annual family reunion at their facilities The staff couldn’t have been more friendly We rented out the banquet hall, and had a catered dinner one evening

The pool is a little small, but good enough Their location is great as it’s centralized to many things in the city Couldn’t have been much better experienceOnly minor negatives-Breakfast isn’t free, but they accommodate large parties-Doors are heavy, sounds odd I imagine, bit they are That’s good from a security person, and you would think from a sound as well, however there’s a gap under the door that doesn’t allow good sound reduction

This hotel was fantastic It had everything I want from a hotel while traveling through The front desk was SO friendly at check in and check out

They wore face masks which is so important to my family The room was clean and QUIET!!!! It was so relaxing The room had high ceilings and spacious Beds were comfortable – the pillows were perfect- they should sell them on the way out And my kiddo was so excited there was a bath tub which was that extra unexpected bonus of our stay The room had a big mini fridge I think with a freezer and a microwave keireg I’ll stay again! It was perfect Thanks!!!!

We will never stay at this hotel again Horrible wifi, even plugged into the wall and the Internet didn’t get any better Couldn’t even do a speed test, as it would time out it was so slow

Found hairs on the clean towels in the bathroom, and the walls were super duper thin! When our neighbors got in at 2am, we most definitely knew it

Russel paul

Food was left in the fridge for 2days, had a note from house keeping dated the 12th when I checked in on the 14th!!!Found a dirty sock in my comforter (We are finally exiting a pandemic and you leave dirty socks in the bed for others to touch!!!) absolutely gross!!Ac was hit and miss Had to have him come to the room twice to fix it

and on top of all this they would not switch us rooms for the inconvenience!

Beandie Lawrence

I would never stay at this motel

Although the staff is very friendly I ain’t one for bed bugs and I know for Fact they have no hot water in there laundry room they take there sheets and everything from the bedbug rooms wash them in cold water and use them in another room if they ain’t got enough towls they just fold them and put them in your room Not to mention the pillow cases good luck getting those changed but all in all it’s a 5* hotel if you wanna take bed bugs home !!

Very clean little cabins We stayed for three nights with a group of friends We rented 1 & 2 and 6

If you’re going with family or friends definitely rent cabins in same groups (1&2, 3&4, 5&6, 7&8) as the common area and dock are shared, the cabins as a whole are very close together The cabins are really well stocked (plates, pans, dishes, cleaner etc) You can moor your boat in front of the cabins for the duration of your stay, docks with bumpers are long enough to tie two reasonably sized boats, or cleats with bumpers are located on either sides of the cabins Boats have to be launched at Tippy Point and driven across the cove to cabins Cabins are located in a no wake zone cove so very peaceful and cabins and boats do not rock Boat trailers have to be unhitched and left in parking lot on top of hill by mini-golf course And cars can be parked further down the hill They have a very strict no pets allowed policy but you won’t miss them with the geese and turtles that make their rounds for snacks Check in was incredibly easy, they just text the door code to your phone after check-in time We had a great time and would definitely stay here again

We booked the East cottage for 3 nights during the week for a family vacation with my aging parents This was one of the best trios I’ve ever taken and I’ve been all over the country! The cabin was nice and clean and stocked with everything we needed They even sent us a packing list by email when we booked to let us know what all was included

That helped us plan and save space in the car so thank you for that! Check in was a breeze They sent us a code for the door by text so we didn’t have to physically check in at the office and were able to check out the same way We only encountered one employee while we were there I wish I would have gotten his name because he was so nice! He was the groundskeeper I believe The grounds are beautiful! We used the outdoor fire pit the last night we were there and made smores at sunset and it was beautiful! There was a deck around the entire cabin where we could fish off the deck or dive in and swim The water was perfect and so clean! One of the nicest lakes in Oklahoma! Wendy the manager was so sweet to us so if you see this, thank you Wendy!!! We really enjoyed our stay! I’ve attached my favorite pics🥰

Laura Roberts

This was an amazing place to stay! One of our top favorites The view was gorgeous The cabin was so user friendly and even had a washer/dryer

My kids thought the geese were the best The cabins DO move I suffer from pretty bad motion sickness but it didn’t bother me at all We would love to return one day Nice restaurant 5 mins walk away

We stayed here on our trip to Win star casino GREAT PLACE, to say the least Check- In was a breeze, Room was clean and very spacious

Great bathroom within the suite The breakfast in the morning was awesome and had tons of choices to eat and drink and it was all fresh The hotel staff were awesome as well Great place overall I would give them 20 stars!

Lea Lee

Our AC unit was leaking, pretty bad, and when it was brought to the front desks attention, they offered us a fan and said they’d have maintenance come to the room Nobody ever came About 3am we woke up hot, AC was blowing but no cold air at all

So now we’re hot and the whole room is damp because the unit is still leaking At checkout, again, brought it to front desks attention and I get told “I’ll have maintenance look at it as soon as y’all leave… travel safe”

Minimal expectations of a room are working appliances as well as utilities Unfortunately, Borders Inn, in Ardmore OK failed to deliver on even those minimal points We arrived at our rooms at 9:00 at night, and we’re a bit concerned with the amount of questionable individuals hanging around the outside of the hotel that late at night

However, we’d been on the road 7+ hours and didn’t feel like we could chance trying to find another place this late at night with 4 kids in tow Upon entry into the room, we were met with what seemed to be decent accommodations Unfortunately, there was something that appeared to be mold growing inside of the AC unit It took multiple calls to the front desk to have anyone come up and take a look – during the time it took for them to respond we realized that our television did not work and, the bathroom door refused to latch and the room was in need of a whole lot of TLC After an hour with maintenance in and out the room and not so much as an apology for the inconvenience, let alone an explanation of what was in the unit, we requested to be left alone to sleep the remaining hours we had available to us before getting back up in the morning We woke up at least hoping for a warm shower, unfortunately the hot water heater was out of commission as wellThe room was in need of a great deal of TLC and for $125 a night with taxes and fees – we really were expecting better than thisAfter another phone call to the front desk we were told that maintenance would be in by 8:30AM- after we’d already be back on the road At this point I explained to the front desk personnel that minimal expectations were not met and I’d like to know what could be done about that and was simply told that she didn’t have the authority to do anything for us and that she would write our contact info down and someone would be in touchI can say that the breakfast was decent, exactly what you’d expect from a free breakfast at a mid level hotel

Jarod Wenger

This place is nice upon first look, if you are any somewhat of a clean freak then you will realize quickly that it’s not When walking around the hotel, I saw a pile of towels and an exposed outlet In our room the light fixture didn’t fit and we had stains on our pillow cases and had a black pillow

Staff gave us weird looks when we asked for a new pillow and pillow cases The exercise room had a half working treadmill and a functioning elliptical, and no weights at all Plenty of dust and bugs and other details I’m sparing you from as well I would say average breakfast at best You get what your money pays for and no more Stay if you wish

brianna archibong

Great staff The price is good, working laundry machines/ doesnt price gouge for laundry supplies Clean

But above all The ladies who run behind the desk were incredibly kind They were what made my time there 5 starsThank you both You two always made me smile

Very nice facility Well maintained Had valentine decor throughout the lobby and breakfast area

The jolly green giant could shower and not get his face wet but the rest of us not so Didn’t try the bar but it looked very inviting Breakfast was the usual Coffee was better than we’ve had but nothing special Nice fitness room Only tested the pool water with hand seemed warm Not hot tub Several dining choices within walking distance Would stay again

Jewell Cartales

I only gave them 4 stars overall because I had planned on using the pool but the pool needs refinishing or something It didn’t look very clean, and the water was cold The hotel itself was nice

The breakfast is great The staff were awesome And the room was very comfortable, Except the air conditioner was very loud when it would cut off and on

Jason Kerns

An easy access to Best Western right off of I-35 The staff at the desk were very kind, professional, and friendly The complimentary breakfast was quite legit

The building, carpets and rooms seemed rather new or at least newly remodeled and everything was clean The only small 2 little complaints I had was the room ACs seemed to kick off when it reached 72 and the room would get hot quickly and it would have to kick back on a bit later I felt bad about using too much more energy to keep the room cool, but the solution was to put AC on quite low to compensate for this, especially when sleeping My only other complaint was the pool was a bit turbid (cloudy) greenish color Didn’t have that chlorine clean smell like most small echo filled hotel pools have Maybe because they had a broken pump or something or it was a salt water pool and it was supposed to look like that I’ve swam in worse freshwater bodies, soBut kudos for the great stay!

I have to travel for work often and this is the nicest hotel in the area, in my opinion The staff is always very friendly and accommodating, and the bartenders are always super friendly and nice The food isn’t bad for having a grill at a hotel! The only thing I would say is having a continental hot breakfast would be nice

I’ve been to cheaper hotels that have better breakfasts for free Other than that, will stay again!

Melissa Cox

My room was everything I expected It was very clean The bed was comfortable and the in room Keurig was greatly appreciated

The only critique I can offer is that there was never anyone at the front desk when we went through the lobby We had to wait probably 10 minutes for someone to come to the desk in order to check in, and every other time we passed through the lobby there was no one at the front desk Fortunately we didn’t need anything after checking in 😊

marquesha “Keysha” gray

Before I rented two rooms one king size plus 1pet and one double queen size room the website say that they do FREE BREAKFAST and are pet friendly and the location was perfect because we was going to Lake Murray So we get to the Hilton I told them I needed two rooms plus pet and ask so you do Do FREE breakfast right she say NO we charge $40 a room for a complimentary breakfast 😳 and $75 none refundable pet fee so for the king $375 queen double$354 I thought complimentary was free but that only apply if your 6 in under if you don’t use the 40 it will be put back on your card I never got a receipt for my charges or email And only $40 back we got breakfast that was $17

63 so you do the math o yeah are stay was for 2 nights

BRAD was awesome!!! Such a cool guy at the front desk The room was nice & clean, the beds were comfortable The pool was nice & clean as well

There is breakfast that is set up for you in the morning There is plenty of parking The parking lot is also lit up very well to make you feel safe if you were to be outside at night The General Manager Mr Patel was very professional BRAD is what made our stay he was able to cater to my needs & he went up & beyond for us He acknowledged my 4 year old nephew & was so kind to him & that interaction is why if my family & I ever come back to Ardmore we will for sure stay here at this hotel Great Customer Service!!!! Keep doing what your doing BRAD we will be back because of YOU!!!!!!!!

It was a place with a bed and suited our basic needs, but nothing past that We requested handicap accessible rooms on the first floor We received 2nd floor rooms, no elevator

Air wasn’t on in the rooms and musty Hair in the tub, the fridge didn’t work One smoking room didn’t have ashtrays; the other did Rooms were mediocre at best The staff was incredibly rude at all points of contact The “free breakfast” was toast, cereal and oat meal with minimal drink options and absolutely disgusting coffee and at 6:30am the waffle mix was empty Overall unimpressed and incredibly disappointed in the staff and their rudeness to us and our children Would not recommend, would not return, 100% not worth the money

Broady Perkins

This is a straight catfish The pictures online are not of the hotel itself and they will refuse to give you a refund once you have realized their tricks Doesn’t even deserve a star

Definatly overpriced for quality I would understand if it was $50 a room but they were trying to charge us $120 for this we found a quality inn down the road that’s 10x better for cheaper

I rented here several times and my recent visit was outstanding I didn’t catch a name but the lady was tall blonde and dressed very well She went out of her way to help me with a couple of situations and guest that was in the lobby was very impressed with her

I don’t know if she was a manager or what but her attitude and business manner sure is what every hotel needs

Christy Martin

I am giving them 5 stars we where only there for one night but it was a very pleasant experience There were a couple of issues but were handled quick and seamless The first was the floor was wet from the A\C unit and the second was the wiring under the nightstand

And then the phones didn’t work But these were quickly resolved but front desk staff She gave us a different room and all was well after that

Preston Gover

Staff was polite and that was the only thing I have positive about this place We checked in and our room smelled so bad we asked for a second not only did it smell worse there were dirty wash rags hanging in the shower, floors were dirty, only half of the lights worked and the sheets were stained

They had nice landscapes but it was so un cared for the grass next to the pool was up to my knees We went next door to the comfort inn and saved the night I would have rather slept in the car than stayed at this place
