The rooms are dated (if that’s important to you), but mostly my concern is carpet which was very dated and felt dirty (i didn’t get close enough to thoroughly inspect, just wear your flip flops and it’s fine) The AC and fridge were both pretty loud but just white noise so that didn’t bother us too muchFront desk people were all very nice and answered any questions we had

Pool looked clean but we didn’t get a chance to use it Breakfast room is small (i guess not everyone eats their free breakfast)Neighborhood: i mean the mall is in view which also means lots of restaurants and next door is dominoes which for us was a great option for a late dinner Not a great place to walk around since you’re surrounded by main roads but we managed a stroll and it felt pretty safe

This hotel was actually so awful I came here on a school trip and we got our room and it wasn’t cleaned since the last stay, my classmates rooms weren’t cleaned either The beds were messy and the bathroom was gross

We ended up getting new rooms and the sheets didn’t fit the bed The toilet wouldn’t flush and numerous other rooms had plumbing issues too The downstairs wasn’t being used because there was water damage in the basement There weren’t many breakfast options either The bedding was practically just sheets, it gave off creepy vibes and a 13 year old was hit on by another person staying here The only reason I’m putting 2 stars and not one is because the pool was great, and the outside was pretty cool I do NOT recommend!!!

Melanie Garbaini

Great location Outdated decor/ rooms Extremely dirty pool with no running filter and hardly any chlorine

Friendly employees Front desk does not answer the phones though Breakfast was very simple So not try the Blueberry waffle mix, it’s awful Bed was comfortable Rooms did not receive service Stains on shear curtains No dark curtains to block out lightThere are other hotels in the same area that are probably much better

We stayed at this hotel for a wedding I don’t recommend and won’t be back The walls in this hotel are paper thin – we could hear the people above and beside us using the bathroom

When I say that, I mean we could actually hear them going to the bathroom and then flushing We also could hear basically any conversations that took place in other rooms The AC/Heat was constantly running If you turned it up it blew hot air, consistently, and if you turned it down it blew cold air consistently (regardless of the temperature on the thermostat) The room was either really hot or really coldLastly the hotel charged me for a beer I didn’t purchase I did make some drink purchases, but I found it interesting that they sometimes only asked for the room number – so basically anyone could give a room number to charge an item Eventually the lady on the phone got really short with me and advised she would remove the charge

NT Day

I’m gold elite, I wasn’t greeted as such (I had to ask if they had my Bonvoy #) or upgraded, etc Stayed one night, arrived late and was put in a room on the first floor next to the side door that didn’t seem to be locked My room had a sliding glass door that opened to the parking lot

I felt unsafe in this roomThe room itself was old, dated, and very, very dirty The shower, which was unusually small and half-sized, had mildew and the floors were, frankly, disgustingI used to find Courtyard to be a perfectly reasonable Marriott product, but this one needs some helpIf you have a choice, stay elsewhere

Nathaniel Finestone

For whatever reason this particular Marriott enforces a policy of not allowing people to book rooms for othersMy aunt booked me a room as she has done many times before at other Marriotts, we’ve never had an issue before but for whatever reason this one takes issue with this and made us jump through hoops for no reason

The staff is professional, excellent, friendly, and patient All of them would bend over backwards to give us what we needed no matter how trivial The rooms are clean and unique; not cookie-cutter, chain hotel rooms

The entire hotel is unique and has a welcoming atmosphere We stayed here twice on our trip, and all the staff from the owner to the room service remembered us and treated us warmly The hotel is tucked in a quiet street making it easy for ride services to pick and drop off customers We will be staying here every time we visit Philadelphia

Stayed here for a night over the weekend Wow! I wish I had found this place sooner The room was very clean and you could tell it had been freshly remodeled

I stayed in the Henri which was on the top floor on the right side of the building It was very quiet and was a welcome relief from the noise of the city at night The AC took a bit to cool down the room after we checked in, but was eventually able to get it to a comfortable temperature The bed was a bit stiff for my taste, but not so stiff as to lessen my quality of sleep The continental breakfast in the morning was simple, but tasty and was enough for us to eat quickly before checkout If you want a more substantial breakfast, there are plenty of options within walking distance Bottom line if you’re looking for a quiet getaway in walking distance of all Central City has to offer, I definitely recommend staying here!

Yasir Alani

The stay here at the this hotel was spectacular The staff were so kind and accommodating! The manager Douglas and receptionist Elijah was very very helpful and went out of their way to make my stay pleasantThe manager Douglas bought me a new laptop mouse because he noticed I broke mine by accident

Really appreciate the thoughtfulness – very kind of himThe room and location is best Will definitely come back

My Mom recently stayed at The Radnor Hotel and she wanted to share her amazing experience:All I can say is WOW! I have traveled far and wide within and outside US and have usually stayed at big chain hotels for consistency of service I had to go to Philadelphia every month for my moms doctors appointment We tried big chains in the area for a couple of times and were very disappointed

And than we tried Radnor hotel! A hidden gem! The considerate and quality of personalized service, the consistency, attention to detail, and I can go on and on I am very impressed and pleased with my experience and will return again and again for my moms treatment

We decided to book a block of rooms at the Radnor Hotel for our wedding in May Leading up to our wedding day, we were in communication with a few people and everyone was friendly and helpful I will point out though that there were long periods of time when we didn’t get a response within 24-48 hours

A few days before our check in date, our guests who were staying over as well as us received an email basically telling everyone the “rules” stating the quiet hours policy We heard feedback from some of our guests that they have never received an email like this from any hotel and they were a little taken back to be honest The hotel and rooms were clean and simple but nothing special for the rate you are paying The morning of my wedding day, the bridal party wanted to get breakfast at the breakfast buffet Upon checking in, we received rude service from the host and they were being so nit picky about who is staying in which room when my husband and I stated at check in that everyone who is apart of our wedding block should be put under our tab When we sat down to eat, we decided to combine two square dining tables since there were 10 of us total It’s important to note that we were the only ones dining The next morning, we went again to the breakfast buffet and noticed that they placed signage up stating to NOT move or combine the tables It felt so passive aggressive and snobby I do want to point out that the food was delicious and had a wide variety of options We also ran into some issues with some of our party not being able to book a room after our block closed There were still rooms available but they would not let them book unless they stayed for two nights I don’t understand why a hotel would turn away someone who is literally willing to pay the FULL PRICE for a room when it was probably empty Again, rude and frustrating We were also extremely disappointed to find out that their bar closed at 11pm My husband and I were willing to pay extra and guarantee at least 20 people for drinks and appetizers after our wedding for an after party Again, turned away and made us feel like we were asking for too much when in fact this is a very popular Overall, if you are getting married in the Radnor area, then this is the most convenient location since it was literally a 3 minute drive from our venue but other than that, I would recommend looking elsewhere If you and your party want to further the celebration after a wedding, don’t book here It’s a buzzkill to be honest And the cherry on top of everything was the service We literally felt like an inconvenience and the staff was snobby and rude I do not recommend staying here and we will not be back

We used this hotel for our wedding block at the recommendation of our venue Unfortunately, we did not have a great experience hereEverything was fine while we were working with Lisa to get a contract in place

They advised we could start with 20 rooms at no financial obligation and they assured us we could add more as needed We decided to go that routeUnfortunately, once the contract was signed, we were handed off to Tiffany She was extremely curt over email and did not seem to have our best interest in mind We were not notified that the hotel was quickly booking up and our room block filled up and we were left with no rooms to add It would have been appreciated when the hotel was starting to fill up or they realized how many wedding blocks they had that weekend to ask us if we wanted to consider adding more rooms We were left having to explain to guests they needed to find somewhere else to stay and find a way to the venue on their own too, since we couldn’t have our shuttles running all around townIn addition, I requested an upgraded suite for the day of as I had 10 people getting ready the morning of the wedding They asked for my reservation confirmation number and assured me 90 days out that they would book me into a suite When I followed up 90 days out, they told me all the suites were gone and I was basically out of luck?? After explaining that I had 10 people that wouldn’t fit in the room, they offered a meeting room, which I said would work fine Then 2 weeks out from the wedding I emailed to confirm and they informed me I would have to pay $300 for the conference room + order food through the hotel (no outside food?? I have never heard of that being the case in a hotel) Utterly ridiculous so I was then left scrambling last minute to find somewhere else to get ready because that additional cost wasn’t in my budget and I had to re-coordinate all my vendors for the morning of Literally no sympathy from them eitherIn addition, the breakfast was $26/day which is absolutely insane and some of my guests told me it was disgusting The only positive was that the front desk staff was polite and the bar space worked well for an after-partyI would not recommend that you use this hotel for a wedding block at all

Adam S

Front desk was awfully rude when checking in There was an issue not willing at all to help resolve Terrible attitudes

Here for my brother’s wedding, I think we have over 8 rooms for our family in total Lot of money being spent Our room was filthy and there was no hand soap and the shower filled up daily The front desk staff couldn’t care less Just disgust The attitude in this place is absolutely terrible from the front desk to the manager of the bar Never have I ever been so disgusted I know our party was easy 20k spent in a weekend I won’t spend another penny at a Marriot ever Unprofessional Was charged for somebody else’s meal and drinks Confronted the server she was more than rude The bar manager then shut down the bar Telling the drunk crowds of 2 wedding party’s it was my fault the bar had been shut down My mother asked the man his name and he said King Petty You can disrespect me all you want The moment the bar manager acted disgustingly towards my mother That was a wrap Never would I ever recommend this hotel I was never reimbursed for anything Nor did I ask to be We just wanted to leave as soon as possible

Meghan Tharp

We stayed for 2 nights at this Marriot and were totally impressed The entire staff we encountered was absolutely fantastic The best I have ever experienced in any hotel I have gone to

The staff was friendly, went above and beyond to be helpful and accommodating in all situations and they did it all with a smile each and every time It wasn’t just one specific person or shift, it was all of them during our stay It was top notch customer service from check in to check outThe hotel itself is nice and very clean! Our room was immaculate when arrived Which was wonderful The last thing you want to have to do when you arrive from a long trip is to clean/wipe down a poorly maintained room There was not one speck of dust anywhere It was great! The room is modern and updated and has a beautiful walk in shower with a sliding glass door There is different lighting options and plenty of outlets and a few USB ports to hold and charge electronics There is decent storage in the room and if you are on a upper level, the views aren’t half badDuring our stay, things were pretty quiet I have seen in other reviews that things were super noisy and I was a little worried about that This was not our personal experience at all and our room was directly next to the elevators While we were in our room, halls were quiet and there weren’t a lot of slamming doors We did occasionally hear people talk but it was usually brief as they were walking to and from their roomsWe dined at Legends pretty much the entire weekend while we were there The food is a bit pricey but there is a lot of it and it was delicious Our waitstaff was great! The burgers were cooked to order, the Boom Boom shrimp was flavorful, my daughter loved the giant pretzel Our waiter accommodated my 10 year old daughter who wanted a salad one night but with alterations to the base salad and it wasn’t even a problem There isn’t a children’s menu, which should be looked at for a future menu addition, even if it’s 2 or 3 choices There were several children in the hotel and we saw them dining in the restaurant as well so I am sure other parents were thinking the same thingWe used the pool/hot tub while we were there The pool area was clean and had fully stocked towels and several seating options I noticed there is a outdoor space (for warmer weather) to sunbathe on The hot tub was pretty much the only negative to our trip I was looking forward to sitting in a nice relaxing hot tub to sooth sore muscles but the water was not hot at all It was lukewarm at best There should be a timed heating option on the hot tub Similar to turning on the jets I was disappointed but it wasn’t a deal breaker and the positives of this Marriot definitely surpassed any minor negativesOverall our stay was enjoyable and a positive one We would stay at this Marriot again and also recommend it to friends and family who may travel to this area Kudos to the entire staff!

What started out disappointing turned out to be a decent stay I booked our room for my cousins wedding months before I worked directly with an agent to understand the sleeping arrangements

It was booked is a queen suite so we could be in the building with the other wedding guests but would have 2 queen beds and a couch bed When we arrived they said our room wasn’t ready less than an hour before the wedding and they down graded us because they over sold the wedding rate After being a Marriott rewards member since the program first started I was disgusted and very irate I asked for the on-site manager When they reviewed my book and saw how many months out I booked they immediately put me back into the room I had booked and it was amazingly it was ready The room was lovely but the service was terrible They helped me and screwed the people who checked in right before me, also wedding quests and the family after us too Later that night a family came down for bedding for their pull out couch and the hotel gave them 1 sheet, 1 blanket and one pillow and told them that was the last pillow they hadAll I can say is that the hotel was clean and quiet and attached to the venue so that was worth it I can tell you I would only recommend this hotel if you had to attend an event at the Springfield Country club Definitely not a relaxing vacation spot

Jerry grizzly

This place is huge Very clean very neat and very organized The entrance has a super big axcent wall soon as u enter with a great appealing view

All the staff was so polite and very generous The lighting was well lit everywhere chandeliers where spectacular everywhere I looked The services were all perfect the parking was abundant The food served was delicious I mean everything went perfectly well for me and my wife no complaints at all 5 stars to the venue the building the staff the food and the whole experience here

We were at the hotel for a wedding It was a festive occasion for us and we were looking forward to a great stay at Marriott hotel But there were many surprises in the wings

1) The rooms do not have lockers to store your valuables They have bank-type lockers at the check-in counter which are very inconvenient when you have to carry your valuables, including jewelry from your room to the front desk Also very risky for losing some of the stuff2) When I called in to deliver a pillow to my room, the front desk clerk refused as he was alone on duty and was not allowed to leave the desk So if you need anything after 10PM, you have to go down to front desk3) They did not have foam pillows The front desk people did not even know what foam pillow looks/feels like The bed was very soft The room was small with not much light in the room The switches are located at inconvenient places There is no microwave in the room You can use the microwave located near front desk But just like locker situation, this is inconvenient as well4) My Marriott App mentioned that I had free breakfast But the front desk said that it is wrong and they will contact Marriott to update their system I did not push for getting free breakfast after see the other issues I mentioned above5) At times there were long lines to front desk since they only had 1 or 2 clerks working there6) There was still construction going on in the hotel, but we did not hear lot of noiseNow the good part1) The staff was friendly and tried to help as much as they could2) It is located on a very nice golf course So all the golf lovers this is the place to stay if you are in Springfield, PAWe had pleasant time due to all the festivities, but the stay could have been much better

Edit: Down to 1starNo Edison outlet between beds This really sucks if you have sleep apnea The clock does have two slow charging USB ports though

AC is weird Do not recommend of you love super cold rooms Won’t go below 62 and if you’re below 65 the AC stops removing a lot of the humidity for some reasonHousekeeping is inconsistent and always came in the afternoon when I was already back from workThey have exactly 1 washer and 1 dryer for the whole building to share And the dryer is brokenLocation is suboptimal I wish they were 5mi east because there’s a void of hotels there that extends to downtownThey have a bar/restaurant, and even a sign by the road advertising it’s now open, but the chef has been out for weeks and won’t be back for weeks Seems dumb to only have a single guy who is scheduled to cookFront desk people are friendly and do what they canBreakfast is free, and fairly typical Nothing fancy, but it’s not lackingParking is freeThe elevator doors close very slowly, but the close door button Does work and it’s worth pushing

I’ve been a Marriott rewards member for over twenty years and have stayed in dozens of properties, but this was a complete disappointmentThey gave me a room, but the key didn’t work, even the mobile key I had to return to the check in desk, waiting for the one elevator that worked (the second was out of order and it took forever to get the one working)

They fixed the key for a different room, so my family had to drag our luggage to the other side of the hotelNormally there is hot water available to make tea, which is pretty stand for us, but not hereThere were only enough towels for one person, and 45 minutes after requesting more they cameThe pullout sofa had no sheets or blankets After 2 hours and 5 calls they finally brought themBreakfast saw the juice dispenser out of order and I was told the ice machine was also out of order, when I asked for iceI’ve never been as disappointed in a property as this one Surely they can do better

Daniel Herstine

This hotel is clearly not ready to be open after their extended closure due to the damage from Hurricane Ida While my room was in generally good condition, it was missing some furniture and supplies The hot water was barely functioning, the ice maker not working at all

Early on, I requested some items to be re-stocked in the room, and while I think the staff did their best to assist, I came back to find my room unlocked and propped open, with no idea how long it had been left like that This is a frankly stunning breach of security Luckily, it did not seem like anything had been stolenThe rest of the hotel was in absolute disarray No elevators, no fitness center, no pool or hot tub, no restaurant, lounge or business center, and no breakfast Not even a convenience center or vending machine! Strangely, almost every light fixture in the hallways was damaged, as if they’d been vandalized There was also debris and trash (from cleaned out rooms) scattered up and down the hallway to my room Construction workers milling around and materials laid out all overAt no point during my reservation, confirmation, or online check-in was I informed there was anything wrong with the hotel at all It was only when I arrived on-site that I was informed about the hurricane damage and all the amenities which were not available for my stay I don’t blame the employees – they seemed to be doing the best they could, and were extremely friendly and apologetic about the state of the hotel This may be a nice hotel again in another month or so, but absolutely should not be accepting reservations now, and definitely should not be taking reservations without informing customers of the issues beforehand

Jean Wood

This hotel has really gone downhill Shower water was lukewarm, no bedspread/ comforter—only a sheet and blanket on the bed, only two pretty old pillows, no soap/shampoo, only one glass in kitchenette, no glasses at all in bathroom Who knows when it was last cleaned

Our keys didn’t work on one back door to the hotel Other back door had broken key entry so just walked right in No key access required It was really pretty badUsed to recommend this highly but not any longer Marriott has really let this location go It’s in need of a major renovation

Nice boutique hotel, well appointed rooms, with decent sized lobby with seating (live music!) attached to a cool restaurant and great bar Very limited dedicated parking, tough entryway to navigate if you have more than one bag, and unhelpful/inept front desk staff makes me hesitate to come back for anything more than a one night excursion with my wife

George T

I have stayed at the Wayne Hotel many times I lived in Wayne for many years and now return several times each year on business As long as my dogs are not traveling with me, I stay here

It is walking distance to a number of shops and very good restaurants I especially like Alessandro’s and Elegance Cafe The rooms are always sparkling clean, the beds are very comfortable and one can open the windows to get fresh air Rooms on the Lancaster Ave side of the building do get traffic noise in the early morning so bring ear plugs if this bothers you Rosalie is a new restaurant on site – I have not tried it as yet

Lisa Posnack

Reviewing the restaurant My friend and I chose the restaurant in the Wayne hotel to have a holiday get together luncheon My friend called to make reservations for 12 noon and was told nothing was available at that time but they could take us at 12:15 which we were ok with but thought was strange as ordinarily if a restaurant is booked they will offer you either an early time, eg, 11:30 or a late time,eg, 1:30

even more puzzled when we arrived restaurant was half full although within a half hour of our arrival it did fill up Just confirmed for us that it was completely illogical to delay our reservation but didn’t dwell on it and proceeded to try to catch up with one another Waitress immediately approached us and took our drink order Not even a minute later we were approached by another server, (a male) asking if we were being taken care of and we replied yes that our drink order had just been taken He immediately demanded we give him our food order so we complied We immediately got our drinks and then food and proceeded to try to eat and enjoy our lunch but we’re prevented from doing so due to no less than 10 interruptions by at least 4 different people presumably a collection of servers and managers The first 2 times, we thought they were being unusually attentive but by the tenth time it became more a form of harassment We did not complain but instead hurriedly left as apparently that is what they wanted It should be noted that neither of us believes in hanging out at a table and that is not what we were doing We were just attempting to finish eating our meal which it should be noted we might have been able to do without the non-stop interruptions In summation, completely unable to enjoy our expensive meal due to the egregious behavior of the staff

We stayed here for a needlepoint retreat and had a blast It’s great for groups with 10-13 people as you can book out the whole place and have it to yourself The rooms vary in price, so group members are able to book what works best for them

The staff was super helpful and worked to coordinate anything we needed for our stay It’s a great, quiet place close to Philly attractions and there’s a lot to do and eat around there The only downside is that there is no elevator so guests should be comfortable with stairs

Ali Faj Bra

Stayed in the Independence Suite and the room was so clean I’ve been to plenty of old-style hotels and none have been this clean Hospitality was superb and the breakfast was excellent

Location was perfect and felt safe to wander around at night Highly recommend place Look forward to my next stay with La Reserve for my next Philly visit Thank you!

Rachel F

We really enjoyed our stay at La Reserve! We stayed in the Hunt Suite, which was very spacious and beautifully decorated The bed was so comfy and we slept so soundly after walking around the city all day! The window AC unit worked great and we didn’t mind climbing the stairs with our luggage It was a quaint place to stay and in a really nice part of Philadelphia

If we find ourselves in the area again, we’ll be staying here!

This review is given two stars, but could have easily been 4 or 5 The good…the hotel seems very nice and is very clean Breakfast area was done nicely and pretty decent food

The bad…service, service, service Party of 3 checked in All parties on the reservation Only towels for two in the room 30 mins after call, we get another towel Next morning, we leave the hotel easily by 09:30am Come back in evening and room service has not been through So now, damp towels from before Unmade beds No coffee for room in morning Too exhausted to have crew come through, who knows how long it would take This building has a lot of potential, gotta get better management/staff

Jeana Schreiber

Beautiful fixtures and modern interior Bed was comfortableWould have given it 5 stars except a lot went wrong

1 There’s only one elevator in the building and upwards of 7 weddings in a weekend This makes it difficult for people to get to and from their rooms to the different amenities2 Door keys don’t work well One room you could get into the room using the digital key, but not the key cards The opposite was the issue in our other room3 Showers leaked all over the floor When showering the water would pool on the bathroom floor and soaked through the towels and other things4 Usually hotels give four towels for a standard room We were given three

Julia Sanders

I recently visited this location as a bridal hairstylist vendor I met my clients in one of their Bridal Suites The lovely lady at the front desk walked me to the elevators, which I thought was very personable as well as helpful to the bridal party

The room was very well lit and had more than enough space to move around comfortably I was able to find parking in the front, which made carrying my bags in very easy

My family and I gathered at the intimate Chestnut Hill Hotel last weekend, enjoyed every bit of it We are from the area and familiar with all the fun and charm and great food that the historic neighborhood offers It was my first stay at the hotel, though family members have stayed in the past

I must say, I was more than impressed What a comfortable sleep! Mattress and pillows were divine My room was pristine, attractive and thoughtfully appointed The hotel is quiet Staff is so friendly and helpful (thank you especially to Michelle) and the overall ambience makes for warm and friendly guests, tooOur family made use of the hotel’s Bombay Room for a celebratory dinner Several years ago, we rented that space for a bridal shower and will I am sure make happy memories there againHighly recommended A short hop to Center City, too

After a three-week road trip where we stayed in many, many hotels the Chestnut Hill Hotel is the best This hotel is terrific! It is very clean, and the staff is helpful and amiable The furniture and decor are lovely, the beds are comfortable, and the rooms are of good size

The food in the hotel’s restaurant was delicious and the decor allowed for a relaxing dinner I should not forget the gardens which are beautiful There is also plenty of free parking The hotel is located right on the main street in Chestnut hill, a lovely section of Philly where there are all kinds of shops and restaurants within walking distance Great hotel!

Diani Safdeye

My friend and I just had a getaway weekend at this lovely hotel! Our stay was perfect The staff was friendly and welcoming and our room had plenty of space, clean and welcoming It’s an added plus that the market is right on site so we could grab lunch and dinner from different vendors and enjoy live music on Saturday night

Would highly recommend!

Words cannot express how truly wonderful this bed and breakfast is! I needed a getaway for a couple days and this was the perfect spot The owners are so kind and attentive (plus they have three adorable dogs), the decorations and setup of the place are immaculate, and the atmosphere is completely comfortable It’s also the perfect place to devour a couple books

I have never felt so at home at a place that wasn’t home I highly, highly recommend staying at the Alpenhof!

Clayton Park RV Escape

We really enjoyed our stay at Alpenhof A quiet weekend away was just what the doctor ordered It’s comfortable, beautifully decorated, in a beautiful area, and a quick drive to museums and shopping

They serve a delicious breakfast and it was really nice being waited on by Rowland and Anh We would love to return for the Monet experience some time this summer if we can possibly get away

Debbie Rubenstein

What can I say? The alpenhof reflects it’s owners, Roland and Ann: it is warm, cozy, welcoming and thoroughly original The rooms are cozy but cleverly laid out and very comfortable The breakfast was wonderful and the company and stories were even better

Roland grew up in the house and shared stories of his horticulturalist mother and concert pianist father Plus, we accidentally booked one night too few Roland did some kind of magic and managed to let us stay an extra night He had every right to be crabby and unhelpful but he was the soul of kindness instead

We arrived late in the evening and were welcomed by a warm, helpful, professional associate (Michael) He put us in a great corner room, with a cool river view Throughout our 3-day stay, we were impressed by the friendliness of staff (from front desk staff to housekeepers), who went out of their way to greet us with a smile

The location is unique (in a good way!); use of the old Ironworks as a concept was fun Most importantly, our room was clean and quiet Will stay here again!

Nice, clean, and kind staff! We had a very nice experience The staff was friendly and accommodating The rooms are suite style with a small kitchen

The couch pulls out to a full size bed if needed The decor is fresh and modernGreat experience all around! Would happily recommend!PS – Only odd thing was that the keys stop working automatically at 10 even though regular checkout is at 11 They keys are required for all doors and elevators

Very modern and clean Staff very professional They had all the amenities, excellent fitness center

The suites are perfectly stocked and clean- will definitely stay here any time I visit the area The 2 trips of nearly 20 days were excellent at this property I would recommend the Marriott property above all the Hilton properties I stayed at over the last 2 years

I work up the street twice a week but live about an hour and a half away So on occasions, I have to be there more frequently and I don’t want to drive back and forth!! Every time I’ve checked in, Katie from the front desk recognizes me and asks how I’m doing!! Makes me feel great!!Excellent staff Comfortable rooms

Enjoyable stays each and every time!!

I would gave this place even a lower rating We hosted our big Indian wedding at this venue and it has been a terrible experience All our other vendors were amazing but this place was the worst

From the management to the front desk associate treated us in a disrespect and racist manner Biggest turnover with employees as well In the spam of 5 months, everyone was different including the management AC was not working for 2 days which they couldn’t seem to fix in all sleeping rooms The staff is not trained in hospitality service with their rude behavior If you are planning your big wedding then please think ten times before going with the management here They couldn’t refill even the basic necessity like water for our event There has been no change in action with complaints to the Sheraton from the management

Beyond Honest

Really nice hotel, the room was nice and fairly spacious, bathroom was very big However the water was ice cold, hot water took a very long time to kick in The heat was also not working well we came in exhausted from being on the road the room was freezing when we walked in and the thermostat was on 72

I kicked it up a few degrees, took a shower, still the vent blowing ice cold air, kicked it up a few more degrees and passed out Woke up a couple hours later and it was still freezing I literally had to kick this thing up to 84 degrees to actually feel some heat coming out Then it was like a sauna It definitely put a damper on my stay I wouldn’t expect that from a new hotel especially one of this caliber and $200 a night That’s something you would expect in a roadside dump

You have to make sure you request room cleaning services when you check in because they don’t offer it and they won’t do it unless you request it We were there a week without a cleaning and had to clean it ourselves and change our sheets ourselves because they didn’t let us we have to request these things which should be offered especially if your staying extended It should be offered or let known that you have to request the service

Other than that it’s a pretty nice hotel The gym, game room, and breakfast was good to go

Holly Quimby

Wish I could give service 10 stars I wish every hotel had a Joe He was friendly but not to the point of being annoying

Told us everything we needed to know about our stay quickly but with enough pause to check for understanding He should get a gold star Then the next morning we went down for breakfast and the man cleaning the floors had the most amazing smile and was just as pleased as Joe the night before

Feroce Intrepide

We were there 5 days ago Room was nice and clean Thumbs up to that! But the pool

Neeh! When we got in, the first thing we noticed was the pool, it is not clean it was cloudy We ended up sitting there and just chill instead After few minutes maybe 3 teenagers came in and 2 of them jumped in the pool and started to kick to make the water splash out of the pool the they got out of the pool and jumped again and make a big splash and they did that repeatedly plus they were screaming and to make it even worst caught the boy spitting in the water Very disgusting to the fact that they are not the only person in the pool There are kids swimming too! When they all left we went to the side of the pool to make a closer look of the water and confirmed it is so cloudy, oily Dirty We were so disappointed because the first thing we look forward prior to booking was the pool And it looks like they are not cleaning the filter on a regular basis My husband worked in a hotel so he knew and the pool is their number one priority I hope the next time we visit it’ll be all good

Nice hotel I feel like “The Alloy” focused their expenses and updates on the lobby/ dining area (which to be fair is beautiful) The rooms are nice as well with newer furnishings, but don’t quite match the elegance of the main entrance

Staff was very friendly and helpfulMy room was equipped with a mini fridge (which was great) However, the bathroom did not have a fan, which led to cloudy mirrors after showering I could sometimes hear other guests through the walls (but it was not overly bothersome)Parking was manageable There are many restaurants, coffee, and grocery stores nearby You cannot hear any highway noise from inside the rooms

Lucero Galvan

Beautifully remodeled hotel All the main areas, including rooms, had updated features and decor Note, that the only “outdated” area, IMO, was the bathroom – however still very nice and spacious

We received a warm cookie at check in, which we enjoyed in one of their outside seating areas, with the most comfortable couches The fully-stocked bar area had plenty of seating for drinking or collaborating with colleagues The best part was the gym It had all the needed machines and weights to have a fairly good workout They even have an area with ear phones in case you forgot your own All the machines seemed new, with TV workout interactions It’s one of the better hotels we’ve stayed on our work trip in Philly

J Ra John

This will be my second time coming to The Alloy, and it didn’t disappoint The staff upon check-in were amazing, beautiful, helpful, warm, and welcoming The Hotel itself, sets very elegantly on the property

The general entrance / commons, bar, and restaurant areas are so well-kept and look great The rooms are spacious, clean, updated, and comfortable I really have no complaints for The Alloy on this stay It was pleasant, and close to everything I needed to get to All major retail, and entertainment are within seconds, to a few minutes from the property I have now made this place a permanent consideration, for future leisure or business stops in the KOP area

Staff was very nice I had a corner room The windows crack a little bit and I love that but they need screens on the windows

Bugs could fly in the room Also I took a hot shower the water was extremely hot and I love it My only issue is that the smoke detector went off from my steam They need to fix that because that’s just to sensitive The smoke detector sits right outside the bathroom door Other then that I enjoyed my stay

Melanie Marban

Hotel location was prime for where we needed to be The front desk and valet service was wonderful It was snowing so our cars were cleaned off well

We ate dinner in the restaurant which was great and well seasoned The drinks were strong! Only reason I won’t give 5 stars is because the rooms need to be updated The wallpaper is peeling and the ceiling had paint chips/cracks

Roger Goun

Hotel was clean and employees were friendly Valet parking was unavailable when I arrived at 9:00 PM and I had to park quite a distance away (No one told me that Hilton has a lot nearby and it wasn’t obvious in the dark

)At 11:00 AM one morning I sent a text requesting that more soap be put in my bathroom I received a text acknowledgement from an employee 8:00 PM still no soap Had to go to the front desk for some Does Hilton consider this adequate guest service? I don’t

Hotel was decorated in a library decor Front desk staff was friendly Needed a code to get on elevator

Down side was NO fridge, microwave or coffee maker in room Also, NO vending machines or ice makersIf ice was needed you need to go to the restaurant when it was open King room was comfortable Loved the glass walk in shower

Rhi Alyxander

-no fridge (except a beat up one we found in the hallway the cleaning staff let us take in our room

yes, I’m 100% serious)-Mac couldn’t connect to wifi until I took it out of my room down to the lobby It was clear that management is aware of this problem, staff are frazzled from having to deal with it, and there is no plan to fix it We were told that it is Apple’s fault, not theirs Like other hotels haven’t figured out how to accommodate Macs-checked us into the wrong room-no free breakfast-free morning coffee is always empty with no one around to refillYes it’s clean, and the poor management gives the staff many opportunities to be friendly How is that adding up to an average rating of 46? I am baffled

Have your wedding at the Inn at Villanova!!! They gave us our dream wedding Everything was absolutely perfect! Kristin, our coordinator was incredible from the first time we met her She answered all of my questions and emails quickly and made everything happen for us! The combination of the hotel, mansion, and ballroom made for a gorgeous wedding in a beautiful place, with the ease of accommodations just steps from our reception

The mansion was gorgeous for cocktail hour and had many different spaces so people could wander and mingle as they liked The ballroom was decorated beautifully and did not feel too crowded or too empty with our 90 guests The food was incredible, all of our guests commented on how delicious everything was! We had an after party back in the mansion which was fun and delicious and then brunch in the mansion the next morning, which was again, delicious Brian and Sarah from the food and beverage team were kind, professional, and excellent They made sure everything ran smoothly and was perfect! The staff was lovely and so helpful and kind The service, food, and atmosphere were all incredible It was the most perfect wedding and we are forever grateful to the Inn! Thank you!!!Hotel rooms were clean and well designed The beds were so comfortable! All rooms had balconies to enjoy some fresh air The suite was gorgeous and huge! We had a great stay at the Inn!

Adrienne Webb Schulman

We had our wedding at the Inn at Villanova in July of 2022 and our guests can’t stop talking about how much fun it was and what a perfect venue the Inn was—we HIGHLY recommend the Inn as a venueWe REALLY have to thank the amazing Kristin, the chef, and the whole staff were wonderful to work with and went above and beyond to make our day incredibleOur wedding was originally scheduled for 2020 but was rescheduled to 2022 due to Covid and the Inn was incredibly accommodating and gracious along the way it was a night we will always remember and the Inn will always be a fond memory for us!

Christopher Reynolds

I can’t believe the high ratings I see for this place Probably one of the worst banquet experiences I’ve ever had There was no staff to be found for any assistance, but most egregious, there was no refilling of coffee/tea urns or desert tray midway through a three hour long banquet

Not even any refill for water And, as I said, no staff around to even ask for it Maybe bring your own refreshments next time you have an event there
