We were skeptical due to some bad reviews but it was a Good 11 days Our room was clean and tidyWe did not use pool or hot tub so can’t help there

Laundry room needs Help! Breakfast room was well done and clean Road noise from 405 and surface roads is minimal Neighbors respectful Local market a few miles away! Last but never least ! The staff was helpful and kind! Will definitely stay again when in area

The hotel is unassuming, maybe even a little run down from the outside, but it impresses once inside We had a large room on the top floor, the 12th, with a comfortable king bed and nice large bathroom My only complaint, while minor, is that we only had 2 large shower towels

It was easily reconciled The elevators that face outside to Ocean Blvd are quite nice Sip lounge has friendly bartenders and the secure parking seems like a fine place to park your car The tv has a QR code remote function and there is a mobile key option as well Nice stay!

I’ve always enjoyed staying at Marriott company hotels although this recent sat at Long Beach Residence was way below my basic expectation A day before my trip I chatted with a staff member since that option was available, I requested dish soap and new sponge any kind of soap to use in the kitchen, I asked for extra towels and nothing I had asked for was provided I could do without the towels but I needed the dish soap I know I asked to be checked earlier and was told that was not a problem since they had plenty of rooms available

The shower water was scorching hot I had to keep turning it off and on in order to finish a quick shower that was Not cool I didn’t want to ask for help since I was only staying one night and we already unpacked and I knew i was just going to be moved rooms Positive note they did give me a room right next to parking area as I requested The carpet in the room very filthy, found spiders near the shower area and the couch feels so sunked in and broken might as well put a sign Do not sit only for display so uncomfortable Overall not a good relaxing experience as it should of been very disappointing for being Marriott affiliated

Our family have a great experience at this hotel I am a new Hilton Honors member an the staff made our stay very enjoyable from check in to check out Our room was very clean, beds were comfortable with extra bedding provided

Furniture wasn’t outdated and the room had great size We also enjoyed the hot complimentary breakfast, which on this day consist of waffles, eggs, potatoes and turkey sausage It also included your normal cereal, Danish, toast, juice and coffee Check out was a breeze so overall great stay

Gunner Jackson

The property is in a great location Just minutes drive from Knotts Disney is more of a 20 -30 minute drive depending on highway traffic

ADVICE: Avoid rooms near the elevator on every floor We even had a room separate us from the elevator on the second floor & still heard the elevator hydraulics at all hours of the night We heard the guy in the next room snoring Other than that, our stay was great Nice pool & hot tub Parking & property felt safe The free breakfast is great Hot breakfast options; eggs, sausage, waffles👍🏻👍🏻 Our first stay was even better We had a room on the first floor High ceilings, big room, extremely quiet

Jennifer Rivera

Great location right off the freeway Our room was very clean and smelled clean when we walked in Our room was very big and spacious

They have free breakfast daily from 6-10 which includes a variety of things like, juices, coffee, hot chocolate, oatmeal, eggs, bacon or sausage, baked muffins, breads for toast, bagels, cold cereal, yogurt, some fruit, and station for waffles and all of the fixings We had a great experience and staff was friendly

Loved this hotel because it offers a free shuttle service to and from Disneyland They drive to the park at the top of the hour, and usually arrive within 15minutes, so pick up will be at the 15minute mark Super convenient, the pool was awesome

Our room had been recently updated because it’s switching over to be a Double Tree hotel soon But there was no microwave or iron/ironing board Called front desk and they delivered the iron/ironing board, but the microwave is down by the front desk Lots of shops and food across the street and in the same parking lot Would recommend this hotel for Disney trippers

Worst experience ever Checked in through their rewards program called IHG Had tried to check in early but card did not go through as it was flagged by my bank as possible fraud

I called my bank who confirmed the address was wrong on IHG end Contacted them, changed address to correct one They processed the transaction fine Checked in and an hour later I get a call from front desk Veronica stating her manager Alex said I had to leave because of fraudulent activities I told her I corrected that and that’s how I was able to reserve the room They wouldn’t take that and said if I didn’t leave they would call the police As if I’m some criminal Shame on the management at this location I get that there are people trying to commit fraud, but I’m not one of them I will never visit this location again The furniture is dated The restroom is nice but not cleaned correctly when there are splatter stains on the toilet seat and hair still in the restroom stall They aren’t the Hilton That is for sure Also room 466 remote is not functional Battery is dying Elevator looks like it’s falling apart I recommend taking the stairs that have trash and beer cans It’s a safer bet Would I recommend? Never it all starts with management You can tell on how well the staff takes care of the rooms and their customers They Dont So you’re reply is that I committed fraudulent charge backs The first time ever stepping foot in your hotel was the day you asked me to leave I already said I would never go back to your hotel so that isn’t any issue for me but again you do prove what poor management skills you do have Have a great day

Donna Jensen

We have family in the area, so we always stay here Only 2 things that I don’t like: 1, is that there are no microwaves in the rooms, so bringing back leftovers from various restaurants is pointless 2, their little convenience shop for drinks and snacks closes too early

I’ve never stayed at a hotel that provides so little to their guests The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable, and overall, we like staying here frequently

This could have easily been a 5 star review but, unfortunately, several factors have instead led to 1 star On a positive note, I thought that the rooms were very modern and nice The pool and jacuzzi also looked very nice although I didn’t use them

There were several restaurants within walking distance which was convenient I was also pleased the the variety and quality of the breakfast However, the reasons for the 1 star are as follows: the most concerning issue are very thin walls Flying in from the east coast, I’m going to bed early and I can easily hear all of my neighbors even though they are only speaking in conversational tones Second, charging for parking in an area where there is no shortage of parking is simply a cash grab and a “hidden fee” My room didn’t have an iron and it was quite a debacle to get one In fact, I tried calling the manager, Gabriela and she never answered her phone or returned my e-mails Finally, the elevator doors are set to try to close pretty aggressively and they hit me pretty hard, knocking my coffee on my shirt through the lid (I ended up having to buy another shirt) All in all, I wish it would have been a great stay but it wasn’t

Max Zuchowski

Really nice hotel Rooms are well kept and look nice Staff is friendly and helpful

Large lobby area, with free breakfast for guestsAnother thing I like is they only clean your room on request You don’t have to worry about leaving the “Do Not Disturb” tag on your door every dayStayed here for work, and sounds like my company has used this place many times when stuff come to our site in Long Beach Will be happy to come back

Charles Dunn

I travel 3 to 4 times a month for my company whose preferred hotel is Hilton In doing so I have become very accustomed to Hilton’s standards and this affiliate is not living up to itFirst the room I was in was barely big enough to fit my two suit cases which were squeezed into a corner

The lamp shed on the desk was broken and continuously fell down I did not have an ironing board in my room, however they did bring one sometime while I was at work The pillowswow the pillows! I used all four and it still felt like I was lying directly on the mattressNow let’s move to customer service I headed in to work at 3:40AM and stopped by the front desk to place a room service request for the following day which was Monday Well, that day came and upon my late return to my room I noticed it had not been touched Asking the front desk they had determined that the attendant on duty had not placed the request Then proceeded to ask me for a description of the person I asked her if it was normal for them to not have a schedule of their staff hours worked I had asked for towels to be sent to my room and waited for them to arrive so I could bathe and get ready for another early day Well it took them nearly 2 hours to bring me the towelsNow, I was ready to hear a scripted apology but to my surprise there was no one there and the towels were left in a plastic bag on the floor at the door Again, very familiar with Hilton standards and this is certainly not it I have another business trip out there and I am opting to travel an extra few miles just to avoid staying at this hotel I am going to miss the restaurants across the street as they are very good It just is not worth being so uncomfortable for my stayThe location is great and the hotel itself is lovely but for me the greatness stopped there I do have photos but I don’t think that it is fair to post them as not all Hilton affiliates are like this Attitude reflects leadership and this experience has left a sour taste in my mouth that I won’t soon forget

We found that this place was located very well for the sightseeing that we wanted to do in Los Angeles It was only 16 minutes from Angels stadium in Anaheim and it was only about 40 minutes from Santa Monica or Hollywood The rooms were well maintained and they offered free breakfast each morning

The staff was friendly and the grounds were well maintained Definitely recommend this place

Jessica Nguyen

I booked a 2 bedroom suit for my family, the hotel is not too old but it’s very used and VERY beaten up and also very filthy: dirty floors dead and live bugs, stain walls and dirty furniture, finger prints all over the appliances and tables, hair on bathroom floors and walls, the bed and pillows had stains… AND the outside of our room door was beyond gross… imagine a cheap motel on a dirty street… same image! I’ve stayed at old, new, non-luxurious hotels before but were always cleaned and up to date… this hotel was probably the worst I’ve stayed in You literally leave the place itching all over I’m not the only review that states how filthy it is

It’s cheap but for a good reason I decided to ignored the other 1 star reviews Lesson learned! Never again!

Ersin Seker

the room that I paid $263 was very small for the cost, there were spiders and bugs, and the AC fan was very noisy Also they gave me the first room close to the highway which it was hard to sleep with all those noises as well Breakfast area was very small and the food was scarce

Seriously there are way better options for half of the cost I’d recommend you to look around for other hotels

I have been here a couple of times every time I come here I’m very comfortable staff is always very friendly, The only suggestion I would say is there should be coffee available in the lobby since the Bistro closes early, maybe in the rooms better creamers and sugars For the Coffee Thanks again to all the staff for your professionalism and courteousness 😊

Great experience today (November of 2021) Josue at guest services was able to adjust and work with my reservation to save me a huge headache when I had an unforeseen change of plans His professionalism and clear technical ability was a massive help and definitely will keep me coming back to stay here

I have had a very positive overall experience, and his help was absolutely the reason why This hotel clearly has a highly talented staff that ensure a great overall experience

Michelle T

I guess I am confused as to how this hotel is rated #1 in the area??? (The only reason I didnt rate it 1 star is because the lady who checked us in was so kind, sweet and helpful) It is pretty sad at this price point that you can’t even get decent coffee creamer in your room! All they have is the ghetto packages of powdered creamer and gross tasting sugar To top that off, since they have their “bistro” downstairs (which closes at 9:30 AM by the way), they don’t even have a little self serve coffee bar in the lobby area Pretty unacceptable

I travel a lot and I honestly can’t remember the last time I stayed at a hotel where there is no coffee/tea available in the lobby for guests As far as the rest of the hotel, rooms includedit is pretty old and shabby and in dire need of updates C’mon Courtyard, you can do better than this

I booked four nights When we arrived the room (324) they gave us had no working AC, and the phone didn’t work to call the front desk about it So they moved us to 330

The next day we went and explored LA When we got back in the afternoon, our keys didn’t work, and a privacy sign was hung on the door I went to the front desk and she had no idea what was going on After continuously asking, she admitted that they put someone else in our room I asked where our bags and stuff were and she had no idea She said the manager was on her way When the manager arrived it was not the manager It was the person who took our stuff out of our room They refunded us, but we had to find another hotel and Uber there We were out half a day, stranded with our bags trying to find a room I’ve never been treated so bad by a hotel

Marc Tönsing

2 stars because the guy at the front desk was nice and helpful But when we arrived a homeless person without a shirt search for food in the garbage right in front of our room’s door Then we had to call someone because the very same person took a bath in the pool

We decided to no let the kids in the pool after that We informed the front desk about that incident and he offered us 20 % discountThe breakfast was a disaster The room for breakfast is far too small I know Best Western but the food was exceptionally bad here We had to eat in the room because there was no space left Next time we book another hotel and have a breakfast somewhere else

Michelle Wallace

Place is convenient to stay Right off the 605 Beds are comfortable t

v is nice Great movies especially on Saturday The bad thing is that I only see security on Friday night People are always hanging out in their cars that don’t have a room Housekeepers and I mean a few, that favor certain guests And I guess now their lazy to clean I was told they are going to charge $200 for stains on the sheets Like light pink hair dye Normally if you use bleach it will come out So this tells me they don’t really sanitize and keep it clean If I’m spending almost $125 for a room, I’m not giving them another $200 The lady that said this, her name is Sarai

Great rates in a good area Newer hotel was clean Really good gym with decent room to move around

No spa was the only bummer Breakfast was nothing special, but everything was good Staff was very nice This is a good spot to be close to the beach, Angels Stadium, or other local attractions I will stay here again if I’m in the area and on a tight budget

This new hotel is really nice and the customer service is excellent The hotel is very clean, comfortable beds, nice size rooms and bathrooms, lots of modern touches with USB ports and TV optionsThe pool area is a bit small but they have other areas outside to lounge in

Large breakfast area which is a nice play to hang out during the afternoon or evening if you need that extra space Tea and coffee available all day long Breakfast options are typical I also appreciate the free level 2 car charging available in the parking lotThe location is a bit odd for a hotel but there are several restaurants within 1 to 2 miles by car, with Seal Beach about a 10-15 min drive

Yousef Hammad

A modern design hotel – well kept and very clean The only small issues experienced was that the bathroom sink faucet was difficult to turn on/off the water There is also a delay when communicating with staff via the official hotel app

We enjoyed the complimentary continental breakfast each morning The hotel has a small business center with 2 computers and a printer available along with a pool

Love this hotel! My suite was very large, there was a nice outdoor pool and hot tub, nice and well-maintained exercise room, very good free breakfast including hot food options (bacon, eggs, etc), safe neighborhood (corporate / techy area), and all the staff were extremely professional and accommodating Rooms have balconies / patios! Standard rooms have showers but no tubs; if you want a tub an accessible room will be a better optionAn even-numbered room will face the exterior or parking lot

The view isn’t as nice but if you have a ground floor even-numbered room it will be very easy to access your car and bring in luggage through the patio door If you have an odd-numbered room it will be facing the courtyard area and be a nicer view / more secureThe ONLY thing I would change is that my patio facing the parking lot didn’t have much privacy; I wish there was a hedge or low fence rather than just opening right into the lot This is a very minor thing though and having a patio at all was amazing10/10 would recommend this hotel to anyone Huge rooms, great breakfast, pool and spa, and very nice staff Will stay here again

OUTSTANDING STAFF AND PROPERTY We recently hosted a conference in a neighboring community and was contacted by Mr Steve Jones, Sales Director of the property

We must note this was the beginning of Excellence in all aspects of this relationship Mr Jones set the bar high in customer service and personality but that level of service was provided to our group from check in through checkout We ended up with about 40 rooms The staff, front desk, housekeeping, and on site management (Janet was a superstar!) provided excellent service Austin represented the property well when I checked in We felt welcomed! The property is located in an excellent easy to access location, but really is in a quiet and pleasant location away from the busy street Property was well maintained and rooms were very comfortable Breakfast, under the current “Covid protocol” conditions was goodThank you Mr Jones and the entire staff for hosting our members They expressed their delight in choosing this propertyIf we have opportunity to return to the area again, we will be choosing Hyatt House Cypress/Anaheim

We stay here every time we visit family and friends in socal a we never have any regrets This hotel is fantastic if you have pets with you on your vacation The staff here is excellent

The only cons a:e I have seen people smoking by the doors and you have to pass through them to enter I believe this a non smoking hotel and the hotel really needs to do something about people who have the audacity to do it in a non smoking property Also, right now there is a car that has been parked in the red all night and I cannot back my car out

Everything about this place was great When I called I got great service, when we checked in we got great, friendly service, when we had a question they were very friendly, when we checked out we had great, friendly service They are located 5 minutes from the Long Beach Airport and right off the highway

There is also a restaurant here, which we didn’t eat at But also within walking distance is plenty of other places to eat This place is worth every penny spent The beds are very comfortable, you will just melt into the bed They also have a shuttle to the airport and to the cruise port

Bernadette Pico

Parked here for 7 days because I was flying out of state from the Long Beach airport I did not purchase online but instead had walked in The staff, particularly the Filipino lady at the front desk was super friendly and helpful

She advised me that the shuttle wasn’t operating that day, offered to have a taxi pick us up to take us to the airport and would cover the cost Was given a parking placard to hang on the dash, and when I returned to the lobby, the taxi was there waiting for me

Hyper Nova

Major problems were the lack of parking in which you have to pay for, why pay for parking when we aren’t even guaranteed parking at the hotel The second level parking had this weird ledge on the ramp to get up and it scraps the bottom of the car and makes a terrible noise Rooms were clean and nice, a lot of towels but not a lot of toilet paper

Loved the fitness center, pool, jacuzzi and grill 4/5

I am not one to leave reviews, but felt compelled to share our experience here because it was so great! Our family of six (including 4 kids ages 8-16) stayed here for 5 nights in August 2022 It was the perfect hotel for our family Things we appreciated were:• Incredibly friendly staff, from front desk to housekeeping

Easily the best service we have ever had at this type of hotel• Great breakfast including waffles with toppings daily, rotating hot selections, pastries, cereal, etc• Pool with long hours- it’s open til 10 PM It was great to come back and swim after we spent the day out at activities It also has a great outdoor grilling area; front desk has grilling supplies• Hot Tub• Outdoor hang out space including bags, ping pong, and green space to throw a ball around• Very new and clean• Excellent room layout- ours had one room with kitchen and pull out couch and another with 2 beds/bath• Centrally located- while there are not a ton of tourist attractions in the immediate area, it is easy to get to Disneyland and not bad getting to Universal Studios, Hollywood, Santa Monica, etc Plus, it’s close to Target, fast food, and grocery stores Also convenient to LAX, we flew into there because it was cheaper than Long Beach (also they had better rental car options for our big family)• New and cleanWe are headed to another Homewood Suites in San Diego and I hope it’s as great as this one!

Rita

This spot is right next to the airport with a free shuttle on call A continental breakfast is included and is very tasty with hot food, a variety of coffee, teas, and fruits While I can appreciate the updated showers in the rooms with glass doors, the floors are thin

If you walk to hard the people below you will definitely hear it, so maybe try for a top floor room Also, nice pool area and a variety of shops and food very nearby

This was our first stay away from home since before COVID-19 began When we planned our one night stay we imagine a place where we as a family can have peace of mind, unwind and relax That’s taking into consideration comfort, cleanliness, accomodations, and customer service

This place is perfectly located near restaurants and shopping center just a walk or short drive away Lobby, pool, and all other amenities are nice and clean Our room #261 “seemed” clean but come bed time I was VERY surprised when I WOKE UP TO VERY PERSISTENT BED BUGS in the middle of the night, which I then found and killed one out of most likely many(***I also recorded and took pictures of said BED BUG) I then insisted in searching my children AND both beds where my children slept numerous times in the night and was robbed of my peace As I lay there in paranoia and fearing of BED BUG bites and the possibility of them returning home with us I finally nodded off I woke up the next morning with 2 bites and my daughter who had slept on the same bed with me had multiple bites which her reaction was way worse than mine because hers are really raised to the touch and crazy itchy I gave it three stars because other than the bugs my family really loved the pool and location was great come dinner time If the rooms were honestly clean and well maintained bed bugs shouldn’t be an issue EVER I find it really disturbing, disgusting, and disappointing that housekeeping is lacking and obviously overlooking things like this, I notified the front desk at checkout the next morning, also mentioned I had recorded video which she wasn’t interested in watching and just told me that they had to make their own search and investigation before going forward Still waiting to hear back

I stayed here for quite a while Overall I’d say this is a good place to stayRooms:- Different layout than most hotel rooms I’ve stayed in

Not a pro or con, just an observation- $5 per water in the room 👎🏼- AC in the bathrooms is nonexistent and the bathroom door wants to stay shut, resulting in a very hot and humid bathroom at all times The AC in the bedroom area worked quite well- Outlets in the lights by the bed are too loose to keep a charger in- Hotel room door deadbolt engaged every single time I opened the door Very frustrating that I had to undo the deadbolt every time I left the roomStaff:- Front desk was very nice and accommodating Never had any issues but I did call down to receive items housekeeping didn’t replenish- Housekeeping was also very nice I found it odd that they noticed and replaced a blown light bulb but they failed to replenish items that I used- Staff was pretty loud in the halls most days I was working overnight and couldn’t sleep during the day due to the noise levelFood:- Delicious eats, but too pricey so I found myself eating elsewhere- No free breakfast options If you’re looking to stick with Marriott, residence inn nearby is probably a better option- Great location to many food options A few within walking distanceFitness Center:- I was happy with the amount of gym equipment for use- Other rude guests leave their towels and trash all over the placeParking- Paid daily parking- Was always difficult to find a spot

Booked a room here for a last minute trip Choose it over Residence Inn (also another Marriott hotel) because Courtyard is located right next to all the restaurants that are less than one minute walk!My room was impeccably clean and quiet, and it also came with a fridge and a microwave, which I was able to use to warm up my leftoversI didn’t get to use the fitness center but I saw a good selection of dumbbells and machines

If there’s any flaw, I’d say the elevator is pretty slow So head out a couple minutes early for your Uber ride!

If I could give this hotel is zero star review I would I spoke to a very kind gentleman first thing this morning before I left Arizona, and unfortunately our call got disconnected I called right back and got on the phone with a horrific representative name solely She was extremely rude and wouldn’t even apply my membership number then took my card information and disconnected the phone

When I called back she wouldn’t even apologize but told me that she booked the room So after 6 hours I finally get back here to the hotel room and then she tells me that she wasn’t able to book my room yet they charged me $355 So now I’m sitting here in la having to look for another hotel room because she was being fraudulent with my card information I will be submitting fraudulent activity to my credit card, and contacting my attorney for the simple fact that I believe she’s taking my information and using it elsewhere Do not say this place if you want your information to be safe When I asked if there was a supervisor she laughed at me and said they won’t be here till Monday but they won’t be able to help you anyway

This is a decent 3 star hotel right across the LA River from Long Beach and near the Port of Long Beach I stayed here for one night with 6 family members and we all had a nice stay here The views from the higher floors are very nice as you get a view of downtown Long Beach as well as the port of Long Beach

The room we stayed in included a kitchenette which is very nice and convenient The rooms, including the bathroom, are nice and clean And one of the best features of this hotel is the breakfast, which is served every morning and they had many breakfast items to select from Overall, it was a nice relaxing stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a 3 star hotel in the Long Beach area

We found a leftover food item in the fridge and we called front desk right away The lady who picked up the call apologized and offered someone to clean up the room for us, but we are in a rush to leave the hotel and don’t want anyone to get into our room so we declined the offer Then she said we could speak with the manager when we returned to the hotel

Manager Art did not provide any compensation for the situationParking is free, which is great Check-in is smooth and the hotel lobby has a view to the pool, feel relaxingWe had a corner room facing the airport Lots of sunlight in the room (and also the corridor/hallway in the public area)The room has proper glassware, a plus for wine and spirt drinkers ;)Bathroom looks updated and I love that the hand sink is separated from the shower and toilet It definitely helps when one person is using the toilet and another person is getting their make up done outside Good water pressure for the shower, and the towels are plush“This Works” amenity smell great and foam up nicelyRoom is a bit on the small side for North American standard

They don’t really look like professional, more casual family running hotelBreakfast is good enough, I like the kitchenett facility very useful when I don’t wanna dine out Parking charge is a bit too pricey

I like they offer coffee and tea through the day and if lucky you can have homemade style cookies Those were very delicious!

My husband and I have been to many hotels and I can say that this hotel is by far the best one we have visit Its on my top 3 along with Comfort Suite in Dallas, Texasservice was great

staff greet you with a smile They even gave us an option of what type of view we wanted Beds were so comfy and very clean Our room had a pullout bed The decor is well played The only down fall is that there is not a self serve at breakfast Not even orange juice or coffee you have to ask for it So we just had breakfast somewhere else

The people who work here are friendly and the convenience to the park is fantastic Everyone I spoke with tried their best to make me feel welcome and comfortable I really really wanted to like the hotel

But honestly, l’d rather pay full price for tickets and cover the cost of parking to stay anywhere where at least the beds are comfortable, breakfast is included, and I don’t have to worry about the Creature from the Black Lagoon trying to make a break for it through the bathroom sinkIf you like extra firm mattresses, you’re probably fine However, for people who need something softer, this bed was so uncomfortable that it kept me up all night long I was in so much pain and so exhausted the next morning that actually going into and spending the day at Knott’s park was really rough I even had to call the front desk at about 230am just to get a comforter to lay on top of to try to make it easier to sleep but I was still not able to get comfortable Laying on the floor with a sleeping bag would have been marginally less comfortable but not by muchThe pool area was actually delightful No complaints thereSadly, after spending the day at the park, we came back to a hallway that smelled as though it were drowning in marijuana We then discovered a thick, black, gunk and what looked like rocks sitting in our sink To their credit, the maintenance staff did a great job cleaning it up Like I said, the people are pretty awesomeIf I’d managed to get a good night sleep here, I would have given them 4 stars at least but the hotel failed to serve its primary purpose

You sacrifice fanciness for convenience here The whole Snoopy wing could use a remodel, it is very old and dirty The walls are pretty thin also, don’t expect fantastic sleep

The emergency fire sprinklers had cups taped over them?!? How is that safe??? The room AC barely kept up with the July heat Bathroom sink was clogged up 6 floors and took the maintenance crew hours to resolve, while leaving my room door open the whole time, exposing my valuables BUT the staff were very nice and accommodating The lobby looks brand new, the restaurant inside is hot but very nice and beautifully run Electric scooters for rent in the lobby are fantastic ($60/day)

The Knotts Berry Farm Hotel is in a great location You can hear the roller coasters going from almost any room The walk is about 5 minutes from their lobby to the theme park gate, very convenient

The parking lot is easy to access and the lobby appears to have been remodeled in the last decade I wish I could day the same for the rooms It appeared the only modern upgrade was the addition of a flat screen television The rooms are small and the floor felt dirty to walk on with bare feet The bathroom is cramped, and the mattress was the most uncomfortable I have slept on in living memory Each day, I struggled to get up as I felt new and increasingly more uncomfortable pains in my hips, back, neck and shoulders When we finally came home, we went through a whole process to try and make sure we didn’t bring bed bugs home with us Leaving things outside, washing things multiple times as we brought them into the house, and lots of showers that first day back I think we escaped unscathed, but it is disappointing to think we had to even take all those precautions

I have stayed at this hotel a few times before COVID It is a nice building with spacious and clean rooms The bar and restaurant are open but with limited hours which is better than nothing

The breakfast buffet is very limited and nothing to write home about but they have Starbucks coffee The bar staff is prompt and efficient We didn’t have dinner there so I can not comment on the food Overall it was a positive experience

We traditionally stay at another hotel brand but decided to give Marriott Sheraton a try as it was close to a venue we were attendingDecor of the hotel is nice, modern and bright Rooms was the same and didn’t appear to be run down

We arrived on a Thursday and asked for our room to be cleaned at the front desk on Friday We came back to the room very late & exhausted to find housekeeping didn’t comeAs we left on Saturday morning we asked the front desk to have the room cleaned because it wasn’t done as requested The front desk was very kind and radioed the housekeeping staff right away to have it cleaned for the dayWe got back to hotel at 4pm and still no housekeeping – we approached the housekeeping staff in the hallway and asked can we bring our trash to be emptied, get coffee and get new towels The person said we were not on the list to clean and she has to see if they can take our trashI brought the 3 very full trash cans from my room down the hall and emptied them myself, grabbed the towels I needed, and asked her for coffee which she rudely gave them to meNeedless to say, our experience with housekeeping wasn’t good, I expect our hotel room to be cleaned when asked for a 3 night stay and even with how nice the decor looked and the kindness of the front desk we won’t choose this hotel again
