I’ve been going to Atlantic City for years but have never heard of Atlantic Palace till last week My stay here was by far the best than other well known hotels The room I stayed in was set up like a mini apartment which won me over

My room contained a mini fridge, stove with 2 burners and a microwave They also provided, dishes, a coffee maker, pots, dish washing soap and the dry rack So many other hotels that I’ve been to either has a microwave but it’s tiny and no stove or the microwave isn’t located in the room but off into a separate room where the vending machines are located The hotel provided extra blankets, sheets and pillows where as other hotels you have to call downstairs for this This hotel was ahead of the game The hotel appears old on the outside but the inside makes up ALOT!! The view was wonderful and I was very comfortableBest stay this far!

Awful

Rude staff, 20 floors with three elevators so there is usually a long line to get on the elevator, three ice machines and none of them were working, nice pool with a great view however it’s not heated, no Casino, there was a sign posted that there was no late check out however they were four to five hours late checking me in due to housekeeping staff Great location but I will never stay there again

Amr Suliman

Lets set expectations and start off by saying that this is a 3 star hotel The quality and experience does not rise above this, although for us I think it fell short as well They have 2 studio apartments which are the same price as far as I can tell

They tried to force us into the smaller studio apartment which felt like being cramped in a cell After realizing the photos posted on Expedia didn’t match the room we had to rebel We were able to get the room we were promised but the process was hell

Upon arriving I was upgraded from the original room I booked online to a suite, which was really lovely My family and I stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed a little gambling, a lot of outlet shopping and a magic show The food was disappointing, not flavorful or well seasoned, and way overpriced

I did like the fact that they had a 24hr convenience store-like place to grab some snacks Overall, I enjoyed my stay Would recommend checking in online or using the kiosk station at the front desk

Lara Gomez

The room was clearly not cleaned properly, we found the former guests clothing in the top drawer! The room on the website says newly renovated It was definitely not That being said, the price was reasonable and we weren’t in the room long

I bought wipes and simply wiped the surfaces I would definitely give Harrah’s another try because I do enjoy the restaurants, casino and their pool party! I had a previous stay here in a much better room so I would simply make it a point to ensure that I had a room that was newer

David G

Just all around disappointing Let’s start with the good Nice room, comfortable and clean , nice bedding

Fantastic two person deep bathtub – perfect for a couple! Housekeeping clearly cares about their work and they do a great job The seafood and steakhouse was fantastic a little overpriced but worth it Now for the bad 1 Pool in the pictures is not free its $20 a day Also only open until 5 (the after dark pictures is only Friday and Saturday nights) Not easy to find that info – so the website is misleading Pool cocktails are $20? Now for the terrible- They had no towels! Also, that day the elevators were down (we were told they had a fire alarm) then we were told that we had to go outside to get to a utility stairwell, wet, in 17 degree windy winter weather We asked for a towel – they said they were too busy to help – even though there was no one at the desk at the time Hopefully it’s not like that every day but we checked out and went somewhere else the next day

They were like Angels that swooped in to save us! We had a terrible experience at another hotel and came barreling in needing five rooms Not only did they show us the rooms beforehand to make sure we felt comfortable, but they were polite, professional and so incredibly understanding AMAZING staff that is genuinely happy to work here and tell you about the property

ThisPlace holds a lot of history but is very well kept, updated and maintained You can tell the staff takes pride in working and caring for it and we are all just SO thankful we got to come hereBeautiful indoor and outdoor pools, restaurant and a grill Outdoor bar Clean rooms Super comfy beds Everything you need Will 100% stay here from now on when we come to Jersey! We can’t say enough about it!

Javier Robles

Okay this is a beautiful hotel Wow, this place remind me of one of those ’80s movies, where everyone wears eyes out shirts with the collar up Lots of weddings

It has its own huge golf course and very cool indoor and outdoor pools I did not see a pool list in either one so if you’re on a wheelchair don’t think you’re going to be getting into the pool The rooms are super tiny, the accessible room which they gave us was a double bedroom and it was super difficult for a wheelchair to get around So much so, that we ended up getting a regular room just to get a little bit of extra space Also, Galloway New Jersey is a beautiful place but not near Northern or Central Jersey Definitely closer to Atlantic City, about half an hour away Other than that really nice place

Karin Persson

This is a REALLY nice hotel/resort for a family Quiet nice location Close to many nice places to visit

Smithsville is my favorite, kids love ocean city We were put in a larger version of the Doyle queen which had much space for two adults and three kids with a crib for the youngest Two really beautiful pools Golf course seems very nice but we didn’t try We did not try the restaurants either, had good breakfasts and dinners in nearby locations The complete building is very nice and fresh I had read some review saying the general spaces were in need of maintenance, but I did not see anything of that, and I am quite a picky person Laundry facility at the hotel was out of order, but they had some service that we did not try Can highly recommend this place!! Hope to be back some time, but now we go back to Norway

The shower was a bit weird to turn on, you had to get in the showers and turn it on and get that cold water on you! The bathroom floor would get extremely wet The setting on the shower head were extremely power and cover the whole area so when you opened the shower door the floor would get wet! Besides that the hotel is great, less than 20 minutes form AC! We will stay there again! We didn’t try their breakfast!

Andrew S.

Not a fan of this hotel Used my award night here for a convention visit The AC was very loud when firing up several times in the night cycling through

Could not sleep The person at the front desk knew this and said they were working on units throughout the hotel as an ongoing issue Why would you put someone in a room that needs maintenance for loud sounds? I rarely complain to be honest and usually reward positive experiences over negative feedback but this sounded like a diesel truck being started several times throughout the night Kinda feel that I should have been offered my award night back

Bill Green

Nice clean place and more modern 4 stars for me, but rhe staff was so friendly and courteous they earn this place an extra star Decent workout room with a lot of treadmills, good breakfast in the morning as well

Only gripe I have is that the shower door is on the wrong side and you have to get in to turn on the shower, which means you basically deal with cold then hot water Other than that nice place Stayed on a Friday and it was extremely cheap

Heather Hogan

For the price and location this place was fine The staff was extremely friendly and fun Our room was a bit on the small side

My husband and I are both tall and we felt cramped when using the bathroom and shower The other issue with the room is that it’s says ocean view but all we got was a view of the side of the hard rock and a slight view of the ocean, I guess it’s still a ocean view just not what I expected The bed was comfortable and the room was extremely clean We had a random movie charge that we did not rent but the front desk took care of if it immediatelyThe casino itself was fun Smaller then I’m use too but still had a good time Lots of great bars and food options and located right on the boardwalk with great access to the beach Overall we enjoyed our stay and will return

Joann Grableski

Extremely clean, friendly staff, lots of fun Love to see all my friends that I met over the years down there Especially the staff members

Also, all my friends that i met in Bar One amazingas everyone of the bars are there Shopping so much fun Can’t wait to get back down there later today!! Much love sent to all of you at Resorts Hotel and Casino!! Love ❤️Shout out to the best ~Stephanie !! ❤️

Aaron Paul

wait to check out the pool on my next visitHad my first overnight here at Ocean the beginning of January and I was overall very impressed The property is massive! It definitely looks different from all of the other resorts

I always read how people complain about how the casino is so far from the entrance and that the lobby is on the 13th floor, but to he honest, that is what I love about this place It’s far from all the noise of the boardwalk and the casino The check in was very easy, the room was comped after only playing there once(I’ll get into more detail) The room was super clean and I love the decor, very modern and welcoming This resort is definitely my new go to considering they do offer a lot Being a Caesar’s member for many years, this place is offering so much more than the older places are I can’t wait to check out the pool on my next visit

Christopher Whelan

The hotel and casino were immaculate and well appointed There was a good selection of table games and slot machines Several restaurants are on the premises that offer a good variety of food

The one complaint I have is in the waitress staff on the gaming floor There isn’t a self-serve drink station where I can get water and we are forced to order it through the waitresses After waiting at a machine (and spending $$) they bring you a tiny water bottle The kicker is, they stand there until you tip If you don’t, they get visibly upset and make nasty remarks I’m all for tipping for great service but water is a basic necessity that should be available without feeling shamed Buying a bottle of water from the resort stores is over $4! Just seems like extortion when the main revenue stream is gambling and booze

dongying jiang

It is very first time I been in a casino, so it is hard for me to rate it well I went there only for an hour or less, but the parking is twenty dollar flat (it could be for full day $20) It will be $10 if you are a card member

Highly recommended to get a card if you want to play The voucher can only cash out round dollar amount, but not the cents You won’t have these problem if you have a card There are lots of machines and not as much tables In general, It was a good experience They separated the smoking area and non-smoking area, so it is more environmentally friendly to me

Tanika Casimir

Pros: my first time here at this casino and my room was clean and it felt sanitized The casino looks refresh and definitely my new place to come toIt’s right off the boardwalk and the restaurant and food selection is amazing here

I love the characteristics of some singing legends you guys have hereCons: However I did not care for one of your employees her name is DONNA and she is an African American lady with small figure and is one of those drink serving ladies on the casino floor, her attitude is disgusting and she messed up my night and even my stay here just because she didn’t want to show up to work! And do her job she also cursed at me and my boyfriend because she didn’t like our tip of choice and even another employee caught her in her act and stated that she always acts this way I also find that a lot of your employees here have slight attitudes or just don’t care to serve your customers, that’s very sad hope a day of customer service training or maybe the need to pay them more can help change their attitudeSome of your machines have a delay when pressing buttons especially the touch screens and it didn’t help when it made me loose on some of the slot games waiting for drinks sucks when u have to order it now only on the slot machine itself Miss the old days of ordering drinks would come out faster and I was way happierPs I would give 5 stars but I couldn’t get over the attitude and bad customer service here at the hard rock I could have went to Tropicana with better customer service

The staff was very caring and helpful The front office desk manager, Jessica Perez, was the bomb She has wonderful interpersonal skills and a very caring personality She put us up on all the vacation happenings in Atlantic City and surroundings She’s truly a blessing to this establishment Jessica ROCK!!!

Chantel McLaurin

Awesome weekend stay! Clean rooms with a mini fridge, microwave, and k-cup The room had black out curtain that was great and lots of outlets/usb ports for charging Plenty of space for luggage and clothes

Hot breakfast was eggs, sausage, and oatmeal Cold breakfast options were good too (Would have liked some non dairy options) Nice beach behind the hotel Parking was okay, does get a bit full Staff was very nice and helpful

William Glover

Our experience at this hotel was excellent It’s right on the Bay and we had a Bay view from our room It was nice to just walk downstairs and be on the little beach there

Location makes it easy to stay at a better price with quick and easy access to Atlantic City The later in the day you go into the city for something (we went for a concert at the Hard Rock) the earlier you want to go in as traffic builds afternoon into evening and parking can be an issue Go even earlier than you think you have to You’re probably going to something at one of the casinos so there’s plenty to do and eat while you wait The room at the hotel was clean; everything worked and I’d recommend

I’ve been coming here for a long time If you stay for a few nights you definitely won’t be let downAbsolutely 1 of the best villas around Perfect for golf, or just relaxing by the fire pit Their pool for adults has a calm cool atmosphere which provides a great intimate setting Highly recommended for the entire family

Raman Sawhney

Very nice property, with a Golf course all around it Nice 3 pools and a daytime seasonal restaurant It’s a little different than other vacation properties of Marriott

Only word of advise : plan to cook if you are staying here restaurants around this place are Bad and serve ready dozen fried food rest it can be a relaxing getaway with in NJ

Christopher Marshall

Rooms need attention Mine had a leak during a recent rain storm They tried to make it right by moving us a room over but it caused us to lose half a day

The current room doesn’t have A/C which is ok for April, but we like it cool when we sleep at night The staff are nice and the rooms are clean That said as club members we expect a bit more quality as well as support when things do not live up to expectations More than just a bag of snacks for the kids and a bottle of Merlot for the adults

I always have a great time at Tropicana It’s always clean Despite the pandemic, it was a nice crowd

The new room reservations were nice They have a nice selection of eateries and restaurants It was nice to see everyone cleaning on the casino floor My only issue was with the party next door making a lot of noise at 3:30am but the hotel was very accommodating I will definitely be back to visit

kam kohli

The stay itself was great Location is awesome, right on boardwalk and 24 hrs casino and food service with bar Express Check-in and check-out process was fabulous, you don’t have to wait for anyone and they charge a minimum amount of parking for the whole stay (super cool)

The only thing which I didn’t like was the bed (mattress), very uncomfortablecouldn’t able to sleep Hotel needs to fix the bedding system (bed and pillows) Rest all was Fab 🙂 100% recommended

Overall, for Atlantic City standards, this hotel is pretty good Clean, soft beds, and nice views (If you’re in the west tower and on floor 38 or higher)! The shower in our room didn’t have hot water The hottest the water got was lukewarm, and to get the faucet in the bathroom to run, we had to pull very hard on it to flow

Besides the rooms (which smelled nice), most of the hotel, and casino on the bottom floor, smelled overwhelmingly like cigarettes and tobacco Even in the hallway on our floor (floor 43), it smelled like it The gym in the hotel is great along with the selection of restaurants in the “quarter” Most of the restaurants, however, are mostly full most nights so make sure to make a reservation at them before hand! Other then that, this is a great hotel!

The room was decent, never seemed to get cold enough though Some of the lights in the room didn’t work, the door didn’t close properly, and there was stains in the carpets The front desk people were always nice and helpful

I would never recommend getting breakfast there, the man Lamont behind the counter needs to work on his customer service skills Two days in a row he made my breakfast wrong, him being a “chef” I was expecting much better than microwaved eggs and bacon on a bun There is a wonderful breakfast place one block over that was amazing! It’s pretty close to the boardwalk and beach Parking lot is big and didn’t have to park far away from the hotel I did see they are remodeling this fall, hopefully with a new breakfast staff and cleaner rooms I will be back!

Joe

Usually when I think of this hotel and at the price of it per night, I expect higher standards The hallways were kind of muggy and funky smelling The room itself felt clean and not as smelly

But the temperature was not good for me You can only adjust the temp to 68, but the whole room was definitely not at that temperature Half was cool and the other half not so muchThe staff seemed nice The beds were very subpar to my standards Just not that comfortableWith all of that, it’s not the worst place to stay But for the money? I would have rather spent a little more to stay at another hotel next time The location is great though

April

We came to the area for a concert at the Hard Rock, we had a different hotel for the night and unfortunately we were extremely disappointed with the cleanliness of the TWO rooms they provided us I called around and was able to get a room here at the Courtyard by Marriott, I travel with work and the Marriott has always been reliable especially when it comes to cleanliness While this room was slightly more than the one at our first hotel, it’s well worth the extra money to have a clean space and free (updating to add parking was $15 when I received the receipt, this should be mentioned at check in just so it’s not a surprise to your guests) parking along with a welcome package b/c I’m a Marriott Bonvoy member

This place is good for a clean room and quiet atmosphere if you don’t want the busy noisy casino hotels Looks like a short walk to the beach and it was a short walk over to the Hard Rock You won’t find a bar to hang out in, and they only have a Bistro and a small snack station to buy something to drink or snack on but it’s reliable and clean The only negative is the halls and elevator are on the warmer side but the room itself is comfortable, you certainly feel the difference once you step out of your room and into the hall

We stayed last week of July 2022 Clean and updated hotel Love the shower! Buffet breakfast is great and well stocked

There’s 1 big pool and 1 jacuzzi Location is great and about 15 minutes to AC Only reason we’re giving it 4-star is because of the following reasons: (1) staff at the Reception (Justin) seemed to us like he didn’t want to be there working that day or what not Lacked the energy and smile that a customer/guest would expect from a staff working at the front desk (2) their website stated indoor pool is heated but it wasn’t – water was cold We called and staff was nice stating someone will come to fix but we stayed for almost an hour and nobody came (3) toilet flush handle is loose always needed to be re-aligned See photos attachedOverall, still a good stay for us and will still recommend

Tony checked us in he was very welcoming and helpful Room is very clean and comfortable We went to dinner after checking in and upon returning found that the A/C was not working

Reported to the front desk and Tony came to the room to reset the A/C When that did not work he called Justin the Night Manager who came to the room and tried multiple things none of which worked At that point he decided to replace the entire unit This was at approximately 11pm Within 20 minutes he replaced the unit and it was working well This is above and beyond any experience we have had at any other hotel Justin and Tony set the example of what true customer service should be Kudos to both of them and because of them we will return here the next time we come come to NJ This hotel will get our highest recommendation

Eileen L. – God’s Servant

I stay at Holiday Inn & Express hotels often, however this was my very first visit here on 3/13/22 I had a wonderful stay!! My sister & I were greeted in a very sincere & friendly way by, not just one, but two men(Justin & Tony?) when we checked in We were given the room we requested(on the first floor); it was clean & comfortable with a great view of the pool! The atmosphere is peaceful & the staff is very pleasant & professional

The breakfast buffet was great! – it was tasty & well stocked & even included potatoes! I love the hotel’s location – it was a short distance from the AC boardwalk I definitely recommend this hotel & I will stay here again

Everyone that worked here was friendly, our room was clean and we had a nice view of the ocean Check-in took 2 min, was able to park in the garage which has a security guard and seemed safe Had breakfast at the blue grill and it was fine

No surprises, great value compared to other available options in the area I did not experience any of the issues I read about on related google reviews But only thing I’ll say is the elevator system is kind of weird but you’ll get the hang of it

We had a great stay here for a dance competition weekend We enjoyed the extra space of the one bedroom instead of a small hotel room The balcony overlooking the ocean was beautiful once the fog cleared

It was so nice to have a kitchen and a separate living room Everything was clean…trust me I check! Although they are renovating the hotel this did not effect our stay at all We will definitely stay here again, the kids also enjoyed the swimming pool There are a lot of amenities and a restaurant One stop shop if you don’t need a Casino in-house We stayed on the 31st Floor and the view was beautiful

I went to relax for a few daysI enjoyed the pool and hot tub The bar and grill

The menu was simple but the food was good I could tell that they had redone some of the rooms and other rooms they hadn’t cotton too yet The reason I know this is because we win in March and and the toilets were those fast flashing flushing and the beds felt brand new This time the beds didn’t feel as good and the toilet moves slowly as they flush That leaves me to believe that these rooms hadn’t been done yet They happened to be on the West side of the building the last time we stayed on the same floor on the other side of the building the East Side and they had been revenged I did enjoy my stay

I have stayed at the Golden Nugget 5 times I like the layout of the Casino, the hotel rooms are spacious, the restaurants are delicious and there is free parking for guests I also love the pool area and bar

The staff is always helpful and welcoming I took one star off because the last time I stayed at the hotel, I found a cockroach in my room I believe it was brought in on the room service cart when we ordered breakfast, because there were no insects in the room before this We alerted the manager and they removed the charge for one of the nights we stayed ($450) I’ll continue returning the Golden Nugget because they really do try to make their guests happy

If I could give 10 stars for the staff alone I would

staying at this hotel is rewarding as the staff takes care in assuring comfort Victoria, a front desk manager, proves her worth in doing her job – it is evident that she is a star when it comes to customer service Tamika, a front desk staff member also makes sure all are happy the staff at Golden Nugget takes pride in making each visitor feel welcome all the workers that we have come to know have worked at this casino for an extremely long time and their loyalty shows Rooms are nice and comfortable We continuously return for the welcome we get from the long time valuable staff

I don’t visit AC much but I was pleasantly surprised and pleased with the Golden Nugget I like the fact it is not on the strip, but close enough Free parking is a super plus

Room was spacious and comfortable (had king room with sitting/lounge sofa) Room has a small mini fridge and solid bathroom toiletries Walls are a little thin and the TV channels went in and out at times (dish) Elevators all worked and were fast Some restaurants were only open on the weekend and others closed early during the week, so plan your meal times if you choose to eat on site The best part was the pool and hot tubs Both are outdoor and weather permitting Both have open and close times We will visit again and see how it is on the weekend

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking any resort This website will compare hundreds of booking web sites and typically will have rates a lot cheaper compared to others! You’re welcome :)! This hotel is the best rated in this area

I’ve been staying here for years If you choose this place you won’t be disappointedThis place is amazing, it has 5 swimming pools, 4 Jacuzzis This is the place to be on the east coast

John Mattingly

Very expensive (8/22) Room wasn’t bad Nice but not luxurious as advertised

Water Club’s inside and outside pools are nice and definitely fancy When you enter from the parking garage you find to check in so you think that’s where you’re supposed to go BIG mistake The Water Club has its own check in with much much smaller lines City view rooms are nice but make sure you pull the curtains when you go to bed because you get very bright morning sun Parking seems free but you have to pay on the way out A little deceiving but cheap ($5)

I have stayed at every casino in Atlantic City but Caesar’s is by far the best I stayed in the centurion tower this past week The room was super clean and had every modern feature you could think of

Phone chargers were everywhere Every detail was clearly thought out when these rooms were designed The lighting button by the headboard was a great feature The shower with a handheld option was perfection The bedding was by far my favorite I have been searching Google for the past 30 minutes just to find out what kind of linens were on these beds I was so comfortable and cool and felt like I was sleeping on a cloud I had an awesome time and will definitely be staying again This was one of the best hotels rooms I have ever stayed in I don’t write many reviews but I felt compelled to Now please tel me where I can get your duvet

Spur of the moment getaway with the family Suggestions or things I will remember to bring my players card with me so I can earn rewards on my hotel stay Overall, it was nice

There was a fee for late checkout and it was an increased rate due to a concert It would have been nice if the fee wasn’t charged since I didn’t check in until 3am and checkout was 11 am but America

William Slowenski

Stayed here recently with my wife Hotel was beautiful and the bed was comfortable The casino is great other then the drink system on the slots

Why make customers wait twenty minutes between drink orders? Especially if you just want to order something non alcoholic like a soda or a water It doesn’t make any sense I like the casino but I would rather be at Hard rock where I can order something whenever I want It’s too bad because Caesars would be my favorite otherwise

I don’t normally write reviews, but I felt compelled due to the impacts of my stay Let me start by saying the front desk staff was very attentive and friendly We were also very impressed by the general manager Jessica who checked us into room and who was also very friendly with an extremely pleasant attitude, not to mention she checked us in fast

Upon arriving at the room, it was unbelievable clean The lobby area also boasted a bar that was opened until 10pm The only other thing to say is, we will stay here again and highly recommend this hotel!

I think Megan is a manager of this hotel and if she isn’t, she should be I mentioned that a good friend of mine was having an anniversary and staying in one of the rooms which then she proceeded to go to and set up a swan out of a towel with rose pedals which was so sweet She was so kind and always helpful and seemed to bend over backwards for the customers

Hilton if you’re listening, you have a gem at this location and for the best interest of your hotels, promote her!!!! Thanks again

I love this placeI was in room 703The view from the balcony cute casino is right a step away, boardwalk places to eat I mean I can’t complain I enjoyedMy room had a king size bed with hot tub, bathroom shower, kitchen with all appliances, vacuum broom big closets, dining room table, sofa bed available too

I definitely would come hereIt was nice of one of there employees let me get in the elevator because it was packed nd he went down the stairs because there elevators be taking long to go up or downSo I had a great time

Rhonda Allen

What Went Well: Penthouse is excellent 2 Br Unit and Kitchen are excellent

Staff/Service is excellent Audio/Video Entertainment is excellent Recommendations: SEAL WINDOWS/DOORS: There were high winds during my stay (approx 35 mph according to weather reports) This caused SIGNIFICANT grinding noises coming from the windows and balcony doors making it extremely difficult to sleep Also, there was a good amount of air coming from the balcony door despite it being closed and locked Recommend taking measures to create greater airtight seals/gaps Also, the elevators were continuously malfunctioning during my stay I had been informed that one was out of service prior to arrival but had no idea that high winds would cause the other 2 working elevators to continuously malfunction This issue should be addressed ASAP FOOD: In addition to coffee/tea the resort should offer SOME SORT of food/snack If complimentary fruit/muffins/bagels cannot be provided, then at least have a vending machine that offers those types of snacks/sandwiches PARKING: Improvements are needed for vehicle check-in and accommodations are needed for more than 1 vehicle per unitespecially for multiple bedroom units

Ben Zhu

Okay the room was great Had a balcony and everything was okay cleaned There was stains in my bed sheets that were brown not sure what that could be…

but the worse part of this whole experience is the elevator It takes generally 30-45 minutes to get the elevator to you On our last day, we waited one hour for the elevator and it did not come We had to walk down 26 flights of stairs with our luggage to check out on time! Was a very poor experience because of that Elevator also is manned but the person who was operating the elevator told us we could not enter when they got to our floor and shut down the elevator to go to another floor
