This will be a mixed review The hotel two queen beds and room was very large and liked having the small kitchen type area With a couch, chair and end tables and coffee table, with the two queens was very nice

The bathroom didn’t have a door separating the preparation room from the rest of the bedroom area, this would have made it easier to get dressed without disturbing others sleeping In the morning, got up to use the work out area and there were only two towels and the workout area needed a thorough wipe down There were sweat marks on the equipment I went and informed front desk twice that towels were needed and the next day they still weren’t there; and the women working out said they had to go to the front desk to get towels and the old towels from yesterday were still there I again informed the front desk of the missing towels I left that day so I don’t know if the area was every wiped down or towels finally delivered As for the breakfast, they definitely watered it down too much Both days the oatmeal was more like soup I tried one day but just couldn’t do it the second day There was just too much water and using plastic spoons, it was hopeless As for the eggs, they were tasteless and again I think they “watered” down these too with something that was just too much I didn’t try the meat, but it looked fine And they had waffles which ran out of strawberry flavored mix and regular constantly The cereals were very boring, no sugar cereals, only the cheapest ones supplied They did have muffins, toast and bagels available and juice and milk Someone spilled their food on the floor and I mentioned to front desk, they picked it up but did not clean the floor The next day a liquid was on the floor and that also was not cleaned up Not pleased with the selection or the hotel in general and have stayed at many Hampton Inns A little more care in cleaning would be better

When I reserved to stay here, I really had low expectations due to the location near Loop I495 The hotel far exceeded my expectations and we had a great stay Parking was kind of congested, but we found spot close enough to the entrance

Our room was very nice and spacious The only knock of the room was the location of the TV, which faced a wall and the bathroom areahowever, it swiveled so that wasn’t a deal breaker The best surprise was the breakfast buffet 😋 We were treated to cheesy eggs, sausage and self serve Waffles (regular and blue berry) our first morning, and the next day was eggs, link sausage, fried potatoes and self serve Waffles (regular and chocolate) There was also plenty of coffee, juices, and other items available They also had a very large dining area which made finding a table and comfortable seating very easyThe location was perfect for access to the highways and very close to the subway stations and surrounding restaurants It was also only minutes away from the airport, so it made arriving to our departing flight very easy We would definitely stay here again when we travel to the DC/Virginia/Maryland area for a future visit

This is a mixed reviewStaff can make and break hotels Everyone I interacted with was polite and wanted to make things better

I appreciate that and I complement the staff for trying every time I brought concerns to them I saw several times the front desk staff dealing with situations with guests that could have spiraled out of control, but were handled with good grace and attitudeWith that, we had room maintenance issues First night we had a grinding noise from the a/c that caused a sleepless night We reported this and it was looked at, but not resolved We reported it again, and the a/c was replaced We also had water backup issues in both the tub and the sink, which we reported, but was not resolved I’ve never in almost 20 years had to report maintenance issues every day of my stayOtherwise, the amenities and location were great We enjoyed the outdoor pool, and the breakfast area was busy but well stocked and good- Edit -The general manager reply below indicated there was a private communication to me, and called me by the incorrect name No one from Hilton or the general manager to this point have reached out to me, and I have not been offered any compensation- Edit #2 -Hilton indicated that the GM had reached out to me and that has not happened to date I have left 2 voicemails to the general manager with no callback- Edit #3 -GM finally reached out and offered a credit Still haven’t seen this on my statement yet- Edit #4 -Finally received a credit on my account Hilton also reached out to me as well for the amount of time that it took me to resolve this

Great hotel and amazing staff We stayed here for 2 weeks The hotel staff really cared, were so friendly, and very helpful

The restaurant has a great menu and the sushi chefs were superb The pool was very nice, and the gym had everything a person needs The hotel beds were very comfortable The staff that worked at the hotel marketplace were always so nice and friendly I highly recommend this hotel

Jasmine Hanonu

This is a beautiful hotel with amazing views and staff Price is very competitive The staff were very kind and welcoming

I only stayed one night, I checked in around 5pm and left at 8 the next morning, so because of my time restraints I chose not to go directly to staff to see if they could make things right The bathroom was not properly cleaned The sink had hair from a previous shave, and I had a towel that didn’t seem clean either We had a chaise in the room, but it had some stains on it I am hoping this was just a fluke, because I would love to stay again They also charge $17 for breakfast, but we left early to grab breakfast elsewhere If it were for the disappointment with cleanliness, this would have been an easy 5 star review

Tali Norby

It’s such a beautiful hotel with wonderful amenities, however, I have never had such terrible customer service When I first checked in, the receptionist was actually wonderful Checked in, went to my room, went to bed

I was then woken up at 5:30 am to the phone ringing I didn’t answer It rang a second time Still just waking up so I didn’t answer it in time Went back to bed Someone then started knocking on my door, yelling in my room saying “have you checked in?” Mind you, it is 5:30 am and I checked in the previous day at 4 pm for two nights I answer the door and the guy writes my name down and says I wasn’t reserved? So he took my name and said he’ll take care of it I go back to bed and my phone rings AGAIN and I answer it and no one is on the other end Then it rings YET AGAIN and I answer angrily, and they say “do you have a reservation?” To which I said my name and said I will head to the lobby I hang up and they called…again I didn’t answer and went straight to the front desk The receptionist then said “the last receptionist didn’t check you on all the way but I found your reservation and figured it out” and proceeded to give me a voucher for free breakfast For only that morning That I ultimately missed because I was woken up at 5:30 am and it took me a couple hours to fall back asleep after that No other explanation, and no other way to make it right in my eyes So so disappointed

This hotel was the cheapest we could find near DC which was really nice! We arrived early, but upon check in they had a room availableIt was my birthday, but the lady behind the counter didn’t even say happy birthday, which not a huge deal but when someone says it’s their birthday you normally say happy birthday, but what do I knowThe room was really nice, but I dont know if it’s the pillows or the bed, but doesn’t sleep all that great

Parking is 40$ which I found to be a lot of money and considering we are members of Marriott, maybe a discount or something?Good location tho 👌

Great hotel that’s located around the corner from Reagan National Airport!! The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly, attentive and helpful! The Bistro restaurant food is delicious I believe they serve breakfast and dinner This hotel has self parking in the garage below the hotel

I have been coming here for a long time If you stay for a few nights you for sure will love it I’m sure!Excellent hotel in a great location Reception staff were helpful and stored my bag since I arrived early until my room was ready Received a suite upgrade using my Marriott rewards with a nice view Room was clean with lots of space 2 separate thermostats Internet connected TV’s

This hotel is at 10 minutes from the National Mall in Washington DC This means that if you have a car, it’s really worth it to spend more or less the same money here than in one of the hotels inside DC limits within a lower categoryThe rooms are REALLY clean, which shows you are in a superior category hotel

The location is great, very close to DC and even closer to restaurants in Arlington We noticed a couple of minor issues (drawers which don’t close completely, the sink draining not as fast as it should) The hotel isn’t new but it has been quite well maintained

Chelsea M

This hotel is a great place to stay when visiting DC, you can ride the metro in & it isn’t that far The hotel was clean and smelled pleasant, I especially enjoyed the regular sized toiletries, I bring my own every time because the tint bottles that most hotels typically have isn’t enough for my family The snack stand down stairs was extremely convenient & they have a Starbucks in the lobby! Also the restaurant attached to the hotel, The Commentary had some extremely delicious food!! The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that you need the room card to exit the parking garage when you leave

We forgot of course & threw ours in the “express checkout” box right by the elevator The front desk woman was kind enough to make us one so we could get out Would definitely stay here again & recommend to others!!

We stayed over the weekend at this Hotel Very nice

very clean and rates were very fair and affordableThe beds was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and there was plenty of towels The staff was very friendly and helpful with me and my family The only con that I can think of is I still haven’t received back my $6000 room deposit back yet and it was supposed to be credited back to my account upon check out

Paul Marquardt

Spent a week here recently The service was very good The bar service was great and food was quick and easy to order

The concierge lounge was very nice and I took full advantage of it for breakfast and late night snacks The only thing I would have changed would be adding the concierge lounge key to the digital key I ended up having to get a key card for that access separately It was an easy fix though and the front desk personnel were very helpful

Ryan Hurford

Titanium member This is a fantastic hotel with open spaces and clean rooms The staff are inviting and pleasant

They do have an open concierge lounge on the top floor It had hot eggs and bacon with the typical abbreviated breakfast items this morning Oatmeal, yogurt, juices, etc No charcuterie plate, but has enough to grab and go The bed was stellar and the shower/tub was spotless and well cared forHotel is quiet no matter which room you get, so that’s a big plus if you fly in late and need to sleep asap before the early rise, or if you have kiddos I definitely recommend!

I stay here often for work and it’s truly been my home away from homeCustomer service at the front desk is Excellent! Haley is always welcoming and nice Today she even helped me with ordering room service

Food: I am a picky eater but my meal was delicious , fresh and hotRooms: Spacious, Clean and I always get a good night sleep Beds and pillows are comfortable

All I do is travel and stay at hotels – with that being said – this is a very nice hotel in a very good location It’s not right by a DC/Tyson’s corner – but it is very centrally located if your plans are not DC bound Plenty of restaurants nearby and they have PURE rooms – which are hypoallergenic – and they work wonderfully! The front desk manager – Stephan – very nice, knowledgeable and ultra helpful

I especially enjoyed the slower pace and the peace/quiet/comfort – it’s as if I unplugged for a great weekend and came back to work recharged It’s not brand new – but it’s newerIf you’re in the mood for the same – come on in and enjoy!

Edythe Frankel Kelleher

Nice clean rooms on the large side We’ve been here a few times, and last time we had a corner space that was divided into two rooms so that wasn’t bigger but it was nice Decor is fine, funny how terrazzo counters are in again! Kitchen area equipped but items were missing

Breakfast is limited but good Location is only convenient if you’re driving, it’s walkable to a few not-so-great restaurants Aldi and a drugstore Lots more in the Mosaic District but that’s too long a walk for some Metro not too far, but not really walkable either

What a terrible shame I had every intention of leaving a five star review for this hotel until my experience this morning with the general manager First let me start with the positive

The weekend crew is absolutely amazing Everyone is friendly and pleasant I had moved to Homewood after a horrendous stay at another hotel I was so relieved to finally rest in a spacious, clean hotel with exceptional service The front desk even helped to accommodate my aroma sensitivities The room also comes with membership to Golds Gym which was a great perk which I sadly was unable to use, but is a great option The front desk team even checked in the second day to see how everything was and it was fantastic The breakfast on the weekend was also really terrific with sweet potato fries along with the usual eggs and two choices of meat Also, there were numerous choices of breads, bagels, muffins, etc and a variety of fruit I didn’t actually eat much and looked forward to Monday Sadly, none of this was availableThe breakfast had one meat, only bagels and only “delicious” apples, which I abhor I found this odd, but ok…I will accept it Then, as I’m trying to relax with my rather limited breakfast, the general manager came over and started sweeping the floor near me…sweeping dust into the air and near my flip-flopped feet and naked legs When I commented that this was inappropriate, he simply said, “I’m sorry you were offended, but I needed to clean”1) At the time I came to breakfast, there was only one of fourteen tables occupied In other words, the place was almost empty There was ample time to clean2) Breakfast was closing in 20 minutes He could have waited until after I left3) I didn’t make the mess There was no reason to penalize me and force me to shower again because someone else made a mess at my feetI would normally keep this complaint internal and simply talk to management about the fact that this was unpleasant, but…Is this a major issue? No However, it shows an attitude of management putting their own needs to get their perceived job done above those of their customers, forgetting that their job is to service customers

Jeffry Feliz

Hilton hotels have been my go to for years The service is always good Not my most recent stay at this hotel

Probably one of my worst experiences at a hotelArrived at the hotel, “checked in” after a bit at the front desk, only to find out that I was mistakenly given access to a room with other tenants already occupying it We proceeded to exit the room and went back down to inform the front desk of what occurred Front Desk worked quickly to give me the keys to a new room thankfullyNext, we arrived at the hotel room and proceeded to get in the shower only to find out that the towels were soiled yellow by what appeared to be pee 2 out of the 4 towels in the hotel room were that way Same thing happened with the towels we got on Friday, at which point we decided to cut our trip short by one dayI called the Diamond Desk to see if I could check out a day early I was informed that since this stay was booked with my Hilton Points that I would lose them if we left early as they “Couldn’t” refund them I decided that staying another night was not worth it, and left even though it meant losing more than 70k points Left the hotel this morning without looking backIf you are thinking of becoming a Diamond Member, please don’t Its honestly not worth it based on this experience

Dillon Vautrin

This was possibly the best service I have ever experienced during a hotel stay The hotel staff really made my family feel welcome The front desk, manager and kitchen staff were all terrific

The pool and hot tub were clean The room was clean When a lot of other chains seem to be going downhill lately, our stay in Falls Church at the Hilton was refreshing I highly recommend staying here Thanks!

The people at the front desk were the nicest hotel workers we ever met! One of them even started a conversation with us One thing I would have liked better would be to have the signs in the lobby tell people that there was a pool on the first floor! I was pumped about hearing that there was a pool when we got there but I never found out until the morning we were leaving The food was ok but if your serving sausage then I want sausage not oil

The TV in our room (unlike the last hotel I went to) actually allowed us to play on our Switch The view from the rooms are also great Above all it was a great experience The location of the hotel is perfect for anyone who wants to go to DC but doesn’t want to wake-up to a myriad of horns honking,

MIKEONE

Let me count the ways Trust me I am not the critical kind of guy 1) Basic stuff here the safe does not work

2) Human hair on the bathroom floor a lot of it 3) The ceiling fan was dirty 4) The sink was slow to drain Etc, I booked this place for 4 nights This is crazy, looking for a better place as I type I will talk with management before leaving It will cost me to leave this dump, sorry shack yes that is more accurate I hope the quality control will improve someday I was locked out of the room for about 45 minutes one morning the electronic door key system failed I was told I had to wait until the maintenance man came in LOL The office center computer system did not work the entire stay I was there Enough already, I guess I am the only one these things happen too They got a lot of great reviews

This was a great family vacation The hotel was moderately clean, I did find some random garbage in my room down by the beds However, the service was fantastic, especially the woman working the front desk the morning of 4/14 and 4/15/22

Breakfast was amazing we did get breakfast vouchers with our room when booking I would absolutely stay here again, anytime

Anthony

I stayed here for two nights Check in was pleasant and the property honored my Spire Elite status by leaving a note and goodies inside the room and allowing me to checkout late The location is great being right in the heart of Ballston

The room and parking rates are less than nearby hotels Although the service was good, I’m only giving it four stars because the bed wasn’t particularly comfortable and the walls seemed thinned enough to hear into the next room and the housekeeping in the hallway was disturbing because of this

Robert Norris

Just okay Pillows in the room were either completely flat or hard as a brick I found one out of 8 that was barely acceptable

The biggest negative is the breakfast that starts at 7 am That’s too late when you have to be at work at 8 in DC I do commend that they have a made to order breakfast, but it needs to start at 6 am Room itself wasn’t bad and the bed was decent Final negative is $16 a day for parking

This hotel is wonderful Staff from the front desk to the waitress to the housekeeper were friendly, professional and helpful Every question answered and responded to immediately

The rooms beautiful, the beds comfortable with differing softness of pillows and the sheets luxurious and comforter, well – comforting so that we all had the perfect sleep I will always try to stay at a Hilton Garden hotel wherever I travel because of my experience at this hotel

Hahn Family

The experience overall was subpar but I’ll start with the good- The rooms are clean There is art on the wall that reflects the City which is a wonderful touch

– The exercise room and indoor pool, fantastic I really enjoyed their exercise room, and my hubby and toddler the poolThe bad:- It’s been years since I paid for a hotel in person instead of online so this one may be on me The price per night was $160/night plus $24 tax in person vs $120-$130 plus tax online We paid for 2 nights and never found out long-term stay pricing because- The team who handle long-term stay pricing are only available during the week, not weekend We needed a room for 10+ days starting Friday so we paid for two days at full price- The parking situation is complicated You park either on the top level or bottom level Regardless of where you park, you have to take an elevator to get to the lobby and another elevator to get to your room There is a ramp in case you want to walk to the lobby but there are cars coming up the ramp- The breakfast service ($10 conventional || $13+ hot food) was very slow My hubby and 13yo spent over an hour at breakfast with about five other guest groups- The pantry area next to the front desk is not well stocked One morning, I walked with my 2yo downstairs to buy something simple, cereal or oatmeal I didn’t think it reasonable to pay $10 for a baby So we see that the pantry has cheerios in the plastic cups Great! The woman at the *front desk* lets us know there are more cereal options at the breakfast area Just in case, we walk over to see if there was anything special There wasn’t There were only cheerios in the plastic cups We return to the pantry area and try to find milk Surely there’ll be milk if they are selling cheerios in plastic cups The woman at the *front desk* lets us know that they don’t sell milk and that I’ll have to go to the breakfast area, aka pay $10, to get milk Really?? Not a great experience We bought oatmeal Important thing to note – The woman tending to the *breakfast area* was very kind and we felt loved and taken care of by herWe were really hoping of staying 10+ days at this location since our 13yo could easily walk to school (we were repainting our house a few blocks away) but after our experience the first two days, we left for the Staybridge Suites in McLean 10 mins away Best decision we made The rooms are double the size with a kitchen, the folks in the front desk are lovely, parking is easy, breakfast is free, and there are much better rates online than this Hilton

Dawn Brown

I am a chaperone for a Christian school group , the first morning we went to breakfast in a special conference room , they had only bran muffins for the youth , on my way out I decided to check the traditional breakfast room for guests snd was happily surprised to find a blueberry muffin I grabbed it , and an employee yelled at me that I was not allowed to have that muffin? Later that night after a full day of tours , our youth had about 20 minutes before the pool closed In one girls hurry , she forgot her shoes and snd was in socks

we were stopped by a gruff gentleman about 10 steps to the pool area who said shoes were required , with only 15 minutes to swim he wanted the youth girl to walk back through the entire hotel without shoes snd get them ? Huh? I offered to go get shoes for her while she swam and he said I could not ? What happened to common sense ? As a paying customer I have to say that these policies are trivial snd seem to be a power play ? I would never recommend this establishment for youth groups traveling , they were very disrespectful and down right rude

Very quick and easy check in The digital process is genius for those who are tech savvy enough The older crowd would probably still prefer normal front desk check in

I did not understand why there weren’t any trash bags in the receptacles that were provided in the rooms The room appeared clean and presentable Didn’t interact with any team members except at breakfast on Sunday morning The lady keeping the food stocked did a great job considering there were large groups of people there Sausage was not thoroughly cooked though Would have liked an additional meat alternative like bacon or ham Overall good experience though they location posts challenges for charter buses with large groups I would stay there again for a little less price though Double bed though not Queens

I always stay at Hilton hotels The standards are always very high with the Hilton brand This location did not disappoint

All of the staff was very nice, the hotel was very clean, and the location was perfect Frank at the front desk is one of the nicest people I have ever met in my life His personality is very uplifting, he has this positive energy about him that is like no one I have ever met before I will definitely stay at this property again and will highly recommend it to all of my friends and family

When we arrived at the hotel, the entire lobby was torn up being remodeled This included the breakfast area They had breakfast set up at the Holiday Inn next door, but the communication on where exactly this was, the hours, etc

was extremely poor On the morning we checked out, the elevators down to the lobby were being inspected There were no signs on the elevator buttons in the lobby or on any of the floors After a few minutes of standing there pressing the button and nothing happening, we gave up and carried our suitcases down 6 flights of stairs During the checkout timeframe seems like a really bad time to not have the elevators accessible to guests Thankfully we were able-bodied enough to carry our luggage down the stairs The room itself was nice and updatedI understand that this is all a necessary part of remodeling, but there was no note of these inconveniences on the website when we booked and I’m not sure if the room rates reflected this The biggest complaint we had was the lack of communication surrounding these temporary changes If we would have known about the remodeling in advance, if we had been informed of the changes to the breakfast, and if there were signs posted on the elevators informing us of the inspections going on that made them unusable, it would have eased a lot of frustration

The hotel and the room were very clean The bed sheets were spotless and the bed was very comfortable The only thing that I think could have been better is letting the customers know about any allergens in the complimentary breakfast

I asked a staff member about this and she wasn’t sure so she got the manager for me which was great, however, I had to wait a while I think it would be great if the ingredients and allergens were visible for customers to see Other than that I think the hotel and staff were excellent I appreciate that the breakfast dining area was available for customers after breakfast and it was kept very clean I also I appreciate that complimentary coffee, tea, and hot chocolate were available in the lobby area I called saying that I would be late and someone was there to do my check-in when I arrived very late in the evening

Was looking for a place to stay near DC at a reasonable rate This place is was fairly reasonable pricing for a quality brand One nice thing is the free parking

The hotels in DC wanted anywhere from $30 to $48 per night!Very good breakfast selection and nice selection of TV channels Beds were a bit stiff for my liking but otherwise was an enjoyable stay

Service was excellent Cleverly designed storage solutions throughout suite makes for a more comfortable extended stay Very pet friendly

Stove/oven combo is small, but adequate Missing a few kitchen essentials – prepare to purchase a few pans or adjust your meal plans accordingly Outdoor grills are a nice option Grocery store, restaurant, barber, & liquor store in the shopping center right next door Internet was hit/miss, especially during peak usage times Parking lot accommodated vehicles w/trailers and one semi w/trailer (2 would be pushing it, though)

I was completely satisfied with this Hotel I really liked my room It was a perfect size

I loved everything about it The room comes with a “OVEN” yes a real oven I’m from California so any hotels in California do not give you ovens they will supply you with a toaster oven I recommend this place I really liked it not only that they have a bunch of different types of snacks in the lobby the closets are really big go check it out

Pros: The room layout was greatCons: Didn’t receive any maid service Several doors didn’t close properly

No breakfast Was assured there was a fold-out couch, but our room didn’t have one Limited parkingIf you can, stay somewhere else

I will be staying here a month for work They’re extended stay room is very nice and spacious Staff was very kind and accommodating, breakfast is always fantastic, and the free Wednesday evening bar is amazing after a long day

To top it off, their cleaning staff literally cleaned my dishes for me the first time they cleaned my room! I’ve never had hotel staff do that for me…incredibly thoughtful, amazing service!

I have stayed here multiple times for family weddings within the area, this time I came with my boyfriend to visit my Mommom for my Birthday The room was extremely clean, the air conditioner made the room very cool, the bed was the best bed I’ve ever slept in at a hotel! The staff was friendly and helpful, and I’ve never slept better at a hotel Highly recommend!😊If you want to feel comfortable, stay here!

Erin Shick

The staff was the only redeeming part of this stay They were accommodating and friendly! Management needs to get its act together though! The indoor pool was closed (which was not disclosed when I made the reservation) and was really frustrating The sign said it was because of COVID but another Marriott property less than five minutes away had their indoor pool open

Everything in the room needed updating and the kitchen was very sparsely furnished We had to call the front desk for basically every pot or pan and the pans provided were way past their prime The room was only cleaned every fourth day (which was way too infrequently for our room/group size) and the one time it was cleaned it was cleaned poorly Oh, and did I mention we saw a mouse in our room on two seperate occasions? 🤮 I am embarrassed I booked this for my immediate and extended family My in laws had never stayed at a residence inn before and I am sure they never will again

I love staying at the Residence Inn Alexandria Old Town when I’m in town for business The rooms are always clean and comfortable, and the staff is super friendly and helpful I really appreciate the free breakfast – it’s a great way to start the day and catch up on work

And the location is perfect – right in the heart of Old Town Alexandria I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Alexandria!Rooms are spacious and generally well-equipped Very quiet in the room — couldn’t hear anything from anywhere else in the hotel, which was nice Very clean as well!

I was so impressed with this hotel and felt compelled to write a review Specifically, I wanted to give a big ‘thank you!’ to Pam at the front desk When my husband and I were checking in for our stay, she was actually done with her shift and about to leave, but she graciously stayed and helped us check in

It’s getting harder and harder to find examples of great customer service but Pam really stood out She has a great sense of humor and was very personable The hotel itself was very clean and the lobby market (with food/snacks/drinks) was well stocked This will be my go-to hotel in Old Town!

Scot Sample

The staff is truly the best! I can not say how friendly and great they were to deal with Pam at the front counter went above and beyond helping me extend my stay During breakfast be ready to have at least 5 people working there telling you good morning

Breakfast was hot and usually the same every morning The room was great, never heard anyone above or next to us The location was great, easy walk to the metro and trolley

Comfortable bed, good curtains, decent breakfast A working, functional toilet in the room would have added more than one extra star to this review We informed the front desk of our dilemma

An “engineer” was dispatched He arrived with a new flush mechanism The issue was blockage He said he would return with a snake to unblock it He did not; or did and was unsuccessful in his attempt When we returned to the room, the toilet was still fubar It was lateI do not recommend this establishment I certainly will not stay there again Cobwebs behind the door, leaking shower stall door, extremely difficult wall plug adjacent to the main table/desk, not mounted to a wall stud Very many minor “tics” in the bad column Not that many in the good columnStay somewhere else

I recently stayed for work Work booked my hotel however, had I known I would’ve chosen somewhere else The overall experience was fine however, the room was far from cleanly

The microwave had crusted foodliterally crusted food and splatter from previous guest It was clear it hadn’t been cleaned The floor was also stained with what seemed to be soda or fruit juice I had a busy agenda and luckily only used the room for sleep however that simply is unacceptable for guests you’re supposed to prepare for The top of the fridge had leftover food, molding Disgusting!! The bed itself was fine, nothing to rave about and the bathroom was fine Honestly, for a Hilton property I would’ve expected better

Mark

The staff was friendly and the breakfast was great The room was clean but they booked my room so they moved me to a handicap room As a diamond member I was hoping for something better

The pool was still closed due to covid which is crazy since Virginia is wide open for over a year nowOverall I enjoyed the location and the cleanliness of the room and friendliness of the staff Please open up the pool

Me and family booked a night here from out of state Family of 4 with the king suite and pull out couch First off the pool doesn’t exist so don’t pack bathing suits nor believe the pictures

We were told it had been out of use for 6 years In our room on the south tower side we had no air and not to mention we had two toddlers with us So it wasn’t pleasant nor did I sleep good Parking is ridiculous being $42 a night but I guess your car stays safe right…? The breakfast that we paid for with our reservation was okay not the best breakfast I’ve had and it kind of bothered my family because waiters tried serving us when we didn’t want to be served and bothered us while eating wanting a tip…when our food was paid for…and it’s a buffet The pull out couch for my oldest toddler was mediocre outdated kinda feeling I will have to say it was clean more than other hotels I’ve been to so I give it that and it was close to a lot of attractions That’s about it!

My daughter was graduating from college in the area so I booked a room here Upon booking the room, I asked was there a pool and was told yes there is an indoor pool On the website, it states there’s a microwave and refrigerator in the room

Upon arrival, there was only a refrigerator but no microwave My granddaughter wanted to go to the pool so after her, my niece and nephew got dressed, we called the front desk to inquire about the location of the pool and was told that there hadn’t been a pool in the past 5 years I had an event to attend with my daughter so I made a call to the hotel while I was out to ask about the microwave that was suppose to be in the room and was told they would bring me one Upon returning to the room (picture provided) this is what I was provided It looks as if they pulled it out of an employee lounge or something with dents all over it The 2nd night the cable went out and did not come back on (pictures provided) I called the front desk and was told that they had called for repair For taxes and fees, I was charged the same amount as another night of stay ($466 for 2 nights) (pictures of room provided)I had family in another room, which they did not have any air conditioning The hotel did have it repaired which worked for a few hours then went back out, however they did have cable the entire stayNot 1 time did I receive an apology for any of the inconveniences from this hotel staff I attempted one more time to address all of the inconveniences upon check out At that time they offered to comp my parking which I didn’t have a car there, so I asked that they comp my family with the room that had no air conditioning They did do that for themThe staff acted as if all issues happen on a regular basis as they are quick to respond without checking any of it outI would never stay at another Double Tree anything I do not recommend this hotel under any circumstances

Cheryl Denise

The service at this hotel was great and the staff was really friendly The rooms though

they really need to be updated Our bathroom mirror was broken all along the edges – which is a hazard – and the “King” bed in our suite was definitely a Queen Our shower didn’t drain properly, and since there is no daily housekeeping, that meant we needed to clean our own tub Good thing I had my Clorox wipesbut I didn’t pay the nightly fees to clean my own tub in a hotel suite Yes, maybe I could’ve switched rooms but who wants to do that after dragging your luggage to your room and unpacking? The A/C was questionable – you had to turn it down to the mid 60s to get the air up-to-par Note: this is coming from someone who typically likes the room in the 70sIf you don’t care about any of the above and you need a hotel in a great location, then by all meansknock yourself out
