Brand new hotel-residence with lots of amenities Was extremely clean; lobby, hallway, room, pool… Enough parking spots The girl at the lobby was very helpful and kind with my kids

Elevators are large Rooms are big and we got very nice view Room has all what you need for a long stay The pool /spa was clean with towels and shower Many restaurants walking distance Can’t complain about anything Easy access to the snow activity areas I recommend and will come

What a great hotel! We stayed almost a whole week, and everyone there seemed to enjoy being there

not a single grumpy employee and even the hotel guests were upbeat and pleasant to be around Dogs everywhere, which was fun and typical for Bend We had 2 adults and 3 kids under 6 into one King+sofabed room, which they upgraded us to when we realized it had a separate bedroom, and the size felt perfect Our room had the best hotel kitchen I’ve ever seen: clean cooktop, full-sized fridge, food storage containers, sharp (!!!) knives, dishwasher, and enough dishes for all of us The coffee in the room was terrible, but there’s a self-serve espresso machine in the lobby so it didn’t matter The breakfast was great with rotating hot and cold options – only suggestion is maybe add some kind of breakfast sausage for more protein options besides egg whites The breakfast tacos were amazing! We loved the weekday evening happy hour – only suggestion is to add strawberry lemonade or similar for the kids Wish it was every day The pool was clean and spacious, loads of fun for our kids The hotel is <10 minutes walk from downtown, and they have bikes you can borrow Would recommend without hesitation

We have stayed here twice This last time was great until we came back and didn’t have a parking spot They allowed a big motor home to take up 6 spots and another semi to take up 10 spots

They don’t take down license plates so when we want to charge our car we couldn’t because other cars parked there that don’t charge We went to ask what to do and they told us to park on the street To pay $1500 and not have a parking spot in the hotel parking lot is a bit ridiculous

I stayed in Rm 130 on March 27, 2022LOVED IT!!!Complimentary bottle of water inside room, plus ticket for either free beer or free snack at the check-in! HIGH FIVE! All I needed is free beer at the community fire after my travel and working long shift!Clean, spacious king room with deep sink with long counter that is separated from bathtub and toilet room/area Magnet DO NOT DISTURB sign, not those paper ones that fly away 🙂 Tall, separate, coat closet furniture

Fridge have freezer separated (2 door fridge), means food on top shelf in fridge will not freeze like in 1 door fridges!!!Computer desk have top shelf above desk! What a plus for business person who have a lot of paperwork! Wide bathtub, I love baths, so for me it was a plus Night blinds are really make a difference and I could use just a fan on constantly as white noise to block housekeeping noises, it even blocked noises from workers who was fixing swimming poolI’m sure I missed few more nice things about Waypoint Hotel in Bend, OR but hey, that leaves you to come and check it out yourself hehe 🙂 wink, wink :)))

We hosted a family reunion at the hotel We had quite a few of the rooms and the event space (Cascade Room) The staff was accommodating and the rooms were nice

They are in the process of renovating some of the rooms, but we stayed in a double king room It’s really nice to have the space to spread out There was a small fridge and microwave in the room as well as a keurig coffee machine There were also two sinks one in the bathroom and one outside the bathroom which was convenient The location is great, close to lots of activities There is also a pool, it’s a nice size and the deep end is very deep, 9ft

I stay here about once a month and I can honestly say I am never disappointed every time I come The decor is modern and the huge mirror is an added bonus There is quite a bit of storage and the rooms are always clean really well

So kudos to the maid service there because they always do an excellent job and I have never been disappointed every time I’ve come to stay

We have came and stayed here for 22 years The view – incredible There have been some upgrades recently like around the pool, a new dishwasher, a new kitchen faucet, etc

Most of it is SO outdated But the cleanliness is the worst part – there are crunchy parts in the carpet and it just needs to be replaced, dirty pans in the cupboard, all of the outside spaces need to be cleaned – around the windows, just hose off the deck areas and CLEAN AROUND THE WINDOWS and the railing on the deck It would take just a few minutes and make all the difference The positives to this place – again, the view The pool space is great and the added shade sails and sectionals and new patio were a great add on There’s a playground and shaded grass areas and some hiking trails

A OGAWA

Beware of the very high & unreasonable cancelation policy Penalty is 30% of total booking, much higher compared to most other resorts/accommodations and despite cancelation being 3+ month ahead of the check-in date Need to wonder if the high penalty is any indication of the quality of the resort and inability to maintain demand / high occupancy

The representatives I interacted with were polite and tried to help Unfortunately the operator’s business practice / policy is substandard compared to what I’m used to with other hotel / resort groups

This place is a great place to stay if you are planning to ski Mt Batchelor It is on the road up the mountain, so there is no need to deal with the morning Bend commute We stayed in #421A

It is a very comfortable condo, nice furnishings, and an awesome view overlooking the Deschutes river The place is clean, quiet, and just a perfect place to stay after hitting the mountain

We got the jacuzzi king bed suite for our honeymoon I can honestly say I wasn’t disappointed Kitchenette, large living room/quarters to relax in

King bed and a walk in/slide door shower I definitely felt like royalty (as I should have for the experience) Plus being downtown, we could walk to most of the popular restaurants, bars and shops Such a delight, I would definitely stay here again

Jamie Iacobucci

Such a great hotel! Rooms are very big with a separate sitting/desk area There is a small balcony as well! The location is wonderfully residential and just around the corner from downtown Bend where there are many shops, boutiques, coffee shops and restaurants!! There’s even a little, independent movie theater! I walked to the Old Mill area, less than 1 mile, where there are more stores, restaurants, bakeries and a huge Regal Movie Theater

and this area is right on the water, overlooking the Cascade Mountains! Bend, Oregon is a gorgeous city and this hotel is literally in the middle of it all!!

This hotel is centrally located and quite popular They’re also short staffed which may be part of the problem with the room cleanliness which is why only give it two stars I’m not particularly picky with hotels cleanliness but I was disgusted by the state of the vanity and the caulking around the sink

It had undergone only the most cursory of cleaning and the curtains were clearly stained Perhaps because they were so busy and short staffed they don’t have more time to be more attentive but I won’t stay here next time Oxford Hotel is a few steps from them and I suspect better kept than this one

Very nice location – near the Old mill district Clean rooms Helpful staff

No way to get fresh air in the room-windows don’t open The indoor swimming pool is really tiny and the jacuzzi is way too much chlorinated The “new” breakfast is, well, like food you probably get only on a really cheap airline No bread, toast, or even bagels – zero Everything is microwaved from frozen and is the same every day Almost rotten bananas Mcdonald’s is like a gourmet restaurant compared to this

Benjamin Tan

The layout of the room just makes sense Separate-ish section from the living/kitchen area, far away from the main doorOur room was right in front of the elevator but we barely heard any noise at night

Water pressure and temp were 👌👌👌, bed was big and cozy Pretty rare for a dog friendly hotel! Speaking of dogs, there’s a large green area for your pups to do their thingIf you’re a light sleeper and need plenty of rest before a big day, definitely consider Residence InnAlso, very close to the Old Mill so it’s very convenient! I’d love to come back again when I’m in Bend

The positive I feel needs that needs to be pointed out looking at past reviews is the breakfast is now better with scrambled eggs sausage biscuits and gravy now being served and it is a very average quality of food The rooms are nice and clean but over priced However I am very confused and irritated that on top paying $300 for a room they make you pay $10 a night to park in their uncovered parking with no security

I’ve never had to pay for parking at a hotel except in a parking garage They say it’s because parking is limited and they share it with other businesses including another hotel; however the other hotel has a separate parking lot and they do not charge for parking, and the parking lot here wasn’t even 1/3 full, so there is plenty of parking When I addressed this with the hotel they were very dismissive and tone death to the complaint If you look at other reviews you’ll see people s who paid to park here had their cars broken into, so it’s not even a secure lot you’re paying to park in If I’m paying $300/night for a room they can easily cover the parking especially since the much cheaper hotel next door doesn’t feel they need to charge for parking

Bait and switch pricing when reserving through the Hilton phone reservations Very clearly the reservation was made for 2 adults and a dog, and I VERY CLEARLY asked the reservation specialist what the price would be for the room for two adults and one dog I was quoted a price for a $197 reservation that was non-refundable

When I arrived to check in, I was informed my room would cost $247 due to a pet fee I mentioned that I had clearly set the reservation for 2 adults and 1 dog, and had confirmed the price with a Hilton employee before agreeing to my non-refundable reservationThe general manager, Delaney, was of the opinion that customers should have read the entire website, assumed they were being lied to by a reservation agent when they asked the total price for a room, and mentally known to add an additional $50 charge that the reservation agent refused to share with the customer, despite the customer very clearly asking for these details Delaney was unhelpful and smug, while telling me there was absolutely nothing that he could do to improve my stay, while condescending to me the entire interaction

This hotel had few serious limitation ( I gave two star because of location that is excellent) Here are the issues ( I paid > $500 per day and expected better ) :1 Room( suite that I stayed with 1 king and 1 queen) are not designed correctly

Bathroom door open in front of wash basin ( with 4 people staying in same room it was a nightmare to get ready every time ) There was only one mirrior See photo2 Room service is not by default ( they still give the reason becuase of COVID) You need to request or you will get surprise 3 If you book room with view , there is no guarantee to you will get4 Dining was closed on 4th July ( no notification about the closure ) We searched outside resturant to eat dinner at last moment

Andrew Hatch

Overall this is a very nice hotel, and it is in a excellent location However, there are some aspects that are just plain annoying Ordinarily you would put up with this but given the room prices, your expectations go up as well

The good:- the rooms are very clean, spacious and modern- the staff are lovely and very friendly- the food for breakfast was excellent- the gym, pool and other facilities are very good too- Wifi is good and there are ample power facilitiesThe not so good- there is no ability to stream or cast to the television You have to put up with DirecTV, or have been clever enough to bring your own HDMI cables and adapters I have stayed in hotels for $100 a night that include this- we stayed in a room with the kitchen Yet there was no crockery or cutlery, no dishwashing equipment We had to go into town and buy stuff Basically all you get is a microwave oven, a small fridge and 15 empty cupboards!- the garbage disposal unit in our room was unplugged I stuck my hand down it pulled out two filthy plastic bottle caps, plugged the unit back in and it started workingSo overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider coming back it would just be nice if there was a little more attention to the details listed above

I have never had such an amazing experience like I did at The Oxford Hotel I was driving from Idaho to Washington this past weekend and got stuck in Oregon due to the mountain passes being closed because of the snow storm that hit the PNW I made a last minute booking at The Oxford Hotel and was blown away by the service and accommodations

I was immediately greeted by the friendly staff, who was also shoveling snow in the front to make easy access to guest At check in, they gave me a puppy package with a ton of goodies for my dog that I was travelling with I had some amazing room service that was quickly delivered to my room! The rooms were spotless and had the best complimentary toiletriesThe next morning, they gave me some supplies for my dog’s morning business and pointed me in a good direction to take her on a walk Also in the morning, the concierge took time to sit down with me and discuss different route options to get to my final destination without getting stuck in the snow again I had the best experience staying at this hotel It was just what I needed after a stressful day of driving! 10/10 recommend!! I can’t wait to go back!

Split Cascadia

Easily one of the nicer hotels Ive stayed in Most of the experience has been carefully crafted to impress the guest, like offering a pillow menu with 5 different options Despite the great lengths The Oxford takes to ensure I have a comfortable pillow option, they put little to no regard into the heating system that has kept me awake all night

A loud click switches on and then a jet airplane roars next to my bed and head for a few minutes every 15 minutes Ive slept better in places 1/4 the price The fitness center has a really nice steam, hot tub and sauna that was greatly appreciated

Kris Colburn

Luxury hotel in downtown Bend Oregon Beautifully-appointed room furnished with eclectic and comfortable furniture Room service available featuring the in-hotel restaurant, Roam

Breakfast is awesome! Nice robes provided French press coffee service and good selection of tea bags Huge tub with handcrafted soaps, and a large walk-in shower Just blocks away from Franklin Park and Deschutes River

My husband, toddler and I just visited Brasada Ranch for his birthday/ Valentine’s Day and we cannot say enough positive things! It was our first trip as a family and our sweet girl had the time of her life and we soaked up every second watching the smile on her face and precious family time! Our favorite thing was the equestrian center! Our babe is only 2 so she wasn’t able to do horseback riding, we fortunately met Chris while feeding the horses and he immediately welcomed us and was so kind! He offered to meet us on our way out to show our horse loving daughter around the equestrian center and pet and brush a horse Laredo was the sweetest horse I’ve ever seen So patient and I never had a single worry with my young girl

Chris showed us such genuine love and kindness, the work he does there is incredible and selfless serving It was a time we will never forget!! Chris treated us like family and loved seeing our daughter so joyful as much as we did!The pool, kid center, and cabins were all lovely as well We will no doubt be back and recommend this for a family trip no matter how young your children!

Stopped by here for Father’s Day Dinner We did not stay at the resort so I cannot comment on the rooms but from a distance they look very appealingOnto the food

The fried tomato appetizer was refreshing and a great start to what was to comeService is extremely fast and professional We experienced above average personalized service and we’re very pleased with our waitressSalmon was cooked perfectly and blended fully with tasteful SaladBlackened scallops were prepared just right and had the perfect balance of taste and flavor Placed atop a bed of grits with corn and peppers mixed in Extremely tasty and highly recommendPizza was also delightful and full of flavorWe highly recommend this place as long as you’re willing to take a 25 to 30 minute drive from Bend For us, the drive and views are well worth it

Rachel M

This is my new favorite place to relax The adult pool isn’t overly crowded The staff is fantastic (and I was a little high maintenance)

The food was great The massage and horse rides were fantastic I do wish the food and bar at the pool had longer hours, but that’s really all I could come up with as something to improve I’ll definitely be back

The hotel is clean and well kept The staff is so friendly! The breakfast was really good We came to bend for a concert and the amphitheater was next door, loved that! My only complaints are that the beds were not comfortable at all, very hard and the ac in our room was either hot or cold very hard to control

Otherwise I’d definitely stay here again!

I made a reservation directly to the hotel in Bend The interaction with the worker was pleasant I clearly requested a wheelchair accessible room with a roll in shower

I received my confirmation and i though all was well I will omit, I should have looked at the reservation more closely but why should I? I get to the hotel early our room wasn’t ready, no problem I can wait The manager approached me saying the wrong room was reserved for me, it was a hearing disability room and not a mobility disabled room but she is having the correct room cleaned but it will be a longer wait Again no problem I check in, go to the room to find a hearing disabled room with a tub Called down to the front desk, basically said oh well, that’s all we got We can bring a shower chair Fine well it was a shower chair but how am I to transfer to a chair in the tub? No shower for me Very disappointed in the service May consider closing my award points account Fir me, it’s always about customer service and I feel they failed me big time I needed the roll in shower on this trip

Ashley Cushing

Our experience has been Good and Bad I’ll start with the good The location of the hotel is great!! The staff seem friendly

The bad The beds are very firm , If you like that then this is the place for you There’s very thin walls, you can hear everything from doors opening and closing , conversations and toilets flushing The pool was great, but the hot tub was not so great It was Luke warm and the jets didn’t work Hot tub was closed the second day of our stay My daughters sandals were stolen from the pool area, which was pretty crummy, but not the hotels fault Just keep a good eye on your stuff or walk down bare foot When we went to the front desk and asked if someone turned in a pair of sandals and explained what happened, the gal laughed , right in front of my daughter which was very rude My daughter has Autism and cried about this for hours Very insensitive

Stayed at the Campfire Hotel for the first time while traveling through Bend Good location on the east side of Hwy 97 First off, the exterior decor is pretty cool

Check in was super easy Very competent and friendly front desk Got to our room The decor was great and the room was clean and fresh Little sitting area with fire pit right outside Only down side, the fire pit was out of propane The beds were cozy and we slept well The place was nice and quiet We used the pool, which was slightly heated to a perfect temperature Great pool area All around a good hotel, covering a couple buildings separated by a street I would stay again Just a couple little things that kept it from a five star rating overall The body soap in the shower was empty, the empty propane for the fire pit, the exterior hallways and parking areas needed trash pickup and cleaning Nothing major, but it does detract from a five star experience

Gabrielle Feasel

The staff were all so nice and helpful! You could tell that they enjoy their job and coworkers The feel of the hotel is very fun and fancy, especially for having a Safeway right across the street They have special packages for having a dog stay with you and buckets of beer! The art of the pool area is so beautiful and unique

We really enjoyed our stay and will be coming back!

The Campfire Hotel is an excellent example of how to renovate an older complex and make it unique, modern, and exciting! Congratulations to the designers and contractors that really brought this place to life The wilderness and camping theme is executed well and I loved the well thought out decorations, lights, and layoutThe location is close to downtown near some great sites, but being that building is nestled in tall pine trees it feels like a small village away from the hustle and bustle

This place has a really great vibe that would work for an older couple looking to relax all the way to the youth looking to get wild at a pool partyI really enjoyed the bar overlooking the pool, the quirky drink menu, the DJ, the poolside conversation, the community fire pits (with live music), and the convenient food truck! I was also impressed that the parking lot was easy to access for my large Ford 350I could go on and on but you’ll have to experience it yourself Many of these elements made me feel like I was vacation! Thanks for creating an excellent experience Campfire Hotel and staff!

VERRY PET FRIENDLY WITH BETTER ROOMS THAN A Best Western”pet friendly” room!Normally when we travel with our two cats we use a best western or something similar but they actually run out of “pet friendly” rooms We called around and even hotels that advertises pet friendly denied it or said it was an advertising error when I called I have two quiet well behaved cats, they are zero trouble as I clean after them daily myself

But when I accidentally found My Place online I was impressed and immediately booked with a very kind lady over the phone! When we showed up it was awesome, the lady checking us in had her beautiful dog with two different colored eyes behind the desk helping check us in! It’s also a much more Upscale hotel than any best western, more like an Marriott but with animals openly welcome Also they don’t gouge you in the mini store, it’s very comfy! We ended up staying a week and both front desk ladies had their dogs with them and it was absolutely the BEST thing to see when normally you feel like they sort of side-eye you for pets! I now have My Place on my phone and will be looking for them whenever we travel! All around, easy, super comfy, CLEAN, and welcoming! Five star!

Stayed here on a business trip The front desk was polite, checked me in/out quickly They have a small general store that has most of the toiletries and random items you’d need

The rooms themselves are very clean and comfortable For one person, the bed is perfectly sized There is a recliner chair that is perfectly positioned for watching TV There is a good selection of channels, although I only watched the local news and ESPN There is kitchen cabinets, a kitchen sink, fridge/freezer, and microwave The bathroom has plenty of room and the shower has hot water with good water pressureI chose this hotel in Bend mostly because it was close to my office, but it is conveniently located Old Mill is walkable, and downtown is a quick Uber or taxi ride

Staff is awesome and welcoming Rooms are awful for the priceNot that this is an expensive hotel and it does have “economy” in the description, but there are several places I have stayed nearby with similar pricing and their rooms are significantly better

These rooms feel like college dormsCons: Why have a kitchen if you don’t have any utensils or dishes? Room smelled awful and no amount of air freshener could fix it Not the hotels fault, per se, but still unpleasant TV was pretty tiny Recliner didn’t function very well Expect the clientele to mostly be rowdy construction workers Again, not the hotels fault, but not a quiet, relaxing place Bed was ok but pillows were too puffy and all were the samePros: Staff is super friendly and helpful Location is central Full size coffee maker and having an ice maker is super convenientOverall, not a place to seek out but more of one to settle on if you don’t want to spring the extra $20 to stay at a nicer place

Everything is great except for the WiFi If you do Zoom, the connection is bad I had to dial in on the phone to not sound like a robot

The rooms are big, breakfast great, got almond milk, 24/7 coffee / tea / water, has a small bar next to the front desk Laundry is only $150 per load I am usually very sensitive to loud heater/AC in hotels but this one has a good thermostat and the noise is bearable Only 25 min drive to Mount Bachelor Appreciate the decor and great art work as well

Imagine being forced to stay somewhere for over 3 months and not get ANY restful sleep after working 12-13 hour shifts (60+ hours/week) This hotel is entirely too loud to get any sleep during the day when you have to work at night Housekeeping slam doors, play loud music, and management insist on bothering you even when you clearly have a DO NOT DISTURB sign on your door

Absolutely not ideal for night time travelers Please go elsewhere IF you have a choice! The not sleeping part is only the tip of the iceberg There’s soooo much more that went wrong, but SLEEP was my MAJOR ISSUE I don’t like people in and out of my room anyway so I do my own cleaning I’m from the South so I guess I expected hospitality and many of the staff severely LACKED HOSPITALITY The whole staff needs to be thrown away with the exception of the new young lady at the desk I wish I would’ve got her name to shout her out Any and every interaction with her was very pleasant

I was debating for over two months on leaving a negative review But then I thought maybe this review will help someone unnecessary hustle The location of this hotel is nice

We even spotted a few deer when we were driving up Beautiful lobby However, even though the hotel states that they have a very friendly pet policy, they very much discriminate against cats We booked ahead of time since we were traveling 1000miles+ with a cat and I tripple checked on the booking site to make sure they were pet friendly Upon checking in we were turned down because they are a “dog only” hotel No where in the description did they state that After explaining to the receptionist that we have a perfectly behaving, leash-trained, highly intelligent, extensively well traveled cat (she has over 10K miles of travels in over 4 states, staying in various hotels and no accidents or issues), the staff couldn’t care less and turned us away w/out a refund Took me a while to dispute the charge For those like us, traveling with a furry feline family member, I’d recommend, MyPlace They had a room that we were able to book last minute And their facilities, although not nearly as fancy as Best Western’s were clean and just what we needed after a very long and tiresome drive Our cat loved the room and the staff at Myplace were all phenomenally lovely

Our first stay at the Riverhouse was a great experience The staff was very friendly when checking in and throughout our entire stay The room and hotel overall was very clean and updated

They provided fast and yummy room service The indoor pool was amazing for our children they absolutely loved it Another super big plus for us also is they are pet friendly There are so many beautiful places to walk with your dog along the river We highly recommend this hotel and will be staying there every time we are in Bend

Bob Morris

Great place! Enjoyed the heated pool when we got in It’s open to 10pm The bar looked good

People were having a fun time The restaurant was busy for dinner It was a little bit pricy for us We ended up eating at Olive Garden Breakfast is available for an extra charge The room is big and bed is very comfortable The bathroom has a nice sized tub with a hot shower There are two sinks One is outside the bathroom for my wife Nice sized refrigerator and large screened TV We were on the first floor in the second building closest to the pool It worked out perfectly for us Since it was on the ground floor we had sliding doors to the outside This made it easy for packing and unloading car I would definitely recommend this Hotel for staying!

Craig Flexen (C. F.)

We were over booked and arrived just before midnight – after driving 9hrs, just to be told that there wasn’t a room for us The person who was working the night desk basically said it wasn’t there problem – the company also didn’t call us to let us know, and didn’t even try to find us accommodations somewhere else It was nearly 2 by the time we were able to check in somewhere else

The place looked nice but I don’t think the service matches the quality

I used to work here years ago when it was under a different name, and the new owners have changed it a little bit but it’s for the better They have fantastic food and a great atmosphere and fantastic service! Especially the restaurant kitchen supervisor, Bobbi Fisher

She was extremely helpful and great about accommodating my little dog, in a dining area of the restaurant that wasn’t being used at the time, because it was a hot day and I didn’t want to leave him outside in the pickup The prices were reasonable and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone whether you’re single, couples or have a family It’s well worth the drive to come and experience the atmosphere, food and service!

Alex Swicegood

Clean accommodations with a fantastic patio area with severally hot tubs and pools Also, balconies that faced the forest were a real treat! The reason for the 3 stars and not 5:No pool towels at the poolThe men’s locker room smells strong of urine and the changing room floor was coated in grime and stains that smelled like, you guessed it, urine

Looked like those facilities hadn’t been cleaned in weeks even though staff was seen several times inspecting the area…Bleach ain’t that expensive, y’all 😉

Mike Clarke

Our room was very clean, spacious, and functional and had a nice balcony with a view Playground and pools were great with the kids Nice low impact biking trail nearby

Not too far from town or other attractions Restaurant was fine The shop with souvenirs/outdoor gear had friendly staff and normal retail prices We were really happy to have chosen 7th mountain for our 3-night stay

I come here every 2 years as part of a business getaway The rooms are excellent, rustic looking with high ceilings with exposed beams The facilities are great

Spa is beautiful There’s a banquet hall that is 2 stories and all old large growth Golf is good I hear too In general a rustic architecture with modern amenities all around

Janet Gray

All was great Special thanks to Jen from Orange CA at Front Desk She was extremely patient & professional with our room change request upon check in

Also, she was very informative Resort was funit has something for everybody We played Woodlands & Meadows golf courses My only complaint was that I was quoted a golf rate of $90 on phone, but it was $130 Ouch, big difference! The premium king room was small, but well appointed Suggest a small dresser, so you could have drawers, in place of the bench would be helpful And, the Shuttle service & drivers is a great amenity Thanks for a fun vacation at Sun Ruver😎

Amy Wachsmuth

The resort fee at 175 % was jarring and left me feeling tricked So hopefully now that you know, you can mentally adjust the room price and be prepared for that at checkout

Now that that is out of the way The location is wonderful The water is not chlorinated and it is so cold and sweet right out of the tapThe employees are welcoming and kind If the weather is good, (we didn’t get so lucky) the outdoor recreation opportunities are unparalleled in Oregon The lodge restaurants have delicious food Be sure to make reservationsVery comfortable, beautiful, and restorative ❤

Solid 35 Star stay I rounded up to be generous

The bad:Breakfast looks a lot better on the website and in the images provided by the location It wasn’t bad, but it was all prepackaged Pretty limited in my opinionI didn’t see the outdoor area with the fire open during our stay Might have just not been when we were there It would have been nice to hang out by the fire pit displayed in the property provided imagesThe parking fee, which in their defense I was aware of, is a little ridiculous $10 isn’t much but there isn’t anywhere in Bend that I think justifies a parking fee of any kindThe price seems to be high ($340/night) Double what I’ve paid in Portland and Seattle Maybe due to the holiday Does not seem to be an outlier among Bend properties though I guess supply v demandThe AC in the room is an older style, and quite loud Kind of weird given the rest of the hotel seems very modernIf you like firm pillows bring your own! Hotel apparently only has the softest of pillowsThe good:The hotel was very clean, the room large, and the beds comfortable Plenty of areas to lounge around the property Staff was very nice too The location is also pretty good The property is near a few restaurants, breweries, bars, etc that are all within a few minutes walk We found it was a good base for John Day and Crater Lake

Levi McCutchen

Absolute perfection when it comes to the rooms layout and setup Comfortable bed Blackout curtains

The bathroom doors a self soft close sliding barn door style which is real cool in my opinion only negative I’d give is the bathroom floor looks like it hasn’t been properly mopped/wiped down very well I used to clean rooms so I look for these kinds of things other than that top notch 👍💯

Meagan Gittins

This is a beautiful hotel located in a great area with lots of restaurants within walking distance Our one complaint is that our first room had a vent through which we could hear people in another room very loudly Their conversation was so loud it sounded like they were in the room with us

We complained at the front desk and they said this is a normal problem For the price you have to pay for a room here it seems like they should fix this problem Thankfully we were helped by Char who was very kind and she managed to find us another room that didn’t have this problem I’d be afraid to stay here again though because with that noise level I would have a really hard time sleepingAlso, the included breakfast was nice, but it would be good if they had a few more options for people who can’t eat gluten or dairy I fixed myself some oatmeal and managed to find oat milk by the coffee station but there weren’t any other options that I could eat

This place is not for everybody Humbling is the best way to describe this for golfers with even moderate skill level

Very unforgiving outside of fairways Absolutely world class course, and bucket list level experience Friendly staff, amazing facilities! Played the Fazio course, and it was very evident that my skill level was inadequate for the challenge, but challenge accepted

ANDREW SCHUHMANN

Angela at the front desk gave us VIP treatment even though we were notShe provided us with water and a ride to the horses for horseback riding Chris the owner was an awesome quide and we had a great time

Even though we were at the hotel for an hour or so all the employees seemed happy to be there and provided us with 5 Star treatment The difference between 4 stars and 5 is the little things such as holding doors open cleaning glass doors and offering water Thank you! We will be back

David Do

The golf course was great and the resort itself is very nice I would come back for those experiences The reason for such a low rating is the customer service

Making reservations for rooms was miserable The group reservations team just stopped replying to emails in the middle of us trying to book rooms I had to call in a few times to chase someone downThen leading up to our reservation I only received 2 confirmation emails when I booked 3 rooms For two weeks we called and emailed every contact at Pronghorn and no one responded to our emails or voicemailsWe were very worried we wouldn’t have a room to sleep until we arrived They were sold out of rooms, so we had to search everyday for a cancellation and luckily found one We ended up having all rooms bookedThe worst part is upon arriving they knew exactly who I was because I had been trying to contact everyone They apologized and said it was a staffing or technical error I just don’t understand why they saw my outreach and didn’t have the courtesy to respond while letting a lot of people worry about if they would have a room to sleep After a lot of complaining all they gave were a few free drink ticketsNow I have another email out because they overcharged me on one of the roomsAbsolutely unacceptable service for such a nice resort
