Couldn’t say enough about The Clifton House Nancy is a great host and breakfast was excellent Check-in was simple and our room was beautiful

We were able to relax over the weekend and just take a break from everything that is going on in the world right now The location of the Clifton House is great with restaurants and stores a short walk away Highly recommend staying there if you are in Cincinnati

James Patton

Our stay at Clifton House was simply outstanding by any measurement We were allowed to check in early and we were gleefully welcomed by the greatest host this side of the Mason/Dixon line We chose the Cottage and couldn’t have made a better selection

Our breakfasts were spectacularly presented with the taste to match Nancy was absolutely fantastic! Remember to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a room This website will compare thousands of booking websites and normally will have prices much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This hotel is the best rated in this area

I have been staying here for years If you stay for a few nights you won’t be disappointedNice, clean hotel It’s located conveniently by downtown The parking garage attached to the hotel is convenient The staff was friendly and the courtyard area is a nice place to relax with friends and family If you’re looking for a place to stay in the Cincinnati area, I recommend you stay here

Jo-Anna Benton

On a whim My bf had me come to this hotel as a little staycation I found the views to and from our room to be the best part of us staying there The gentlemen at the front desk were also very friendly

After a long night of enjoying our getaway We were disappointed to find the whirlpool that we were going to indulge in before checking out was no longer available It had been filled in and tiled over w a patio table on top We certainly were looking forward to that a bonus relaxation to a great night Should’ve been alerted to that change when reservations were made

Kyle Hoylman

The hotel advertises itself as pet-friendly, but upon arrival to check in advises that a NON-REFUNDABLE $250 pet fee is required This fee was not disclosed when the room was booked We cancelled our reservation on the spot and stayed at the hotel next door for less than the pet deposit at this location

As a long-time Marriott client, this whole experience was disappointing If you are seeking a pet-friendly hotel in the Greater Cincinnati area, take this Marriott location off our your list

Amazing place to stay if you’re visiting the zoo! The decor of this hotel is epic! The ambiance is as well! The restaurant could offer more of a selection of entrees, but overall very cool place to stay! The staff went above and beyond to make sure your stay with them was comfortable Nice size rooms with comfortable beds Very clean

Brian Ketcheson

This is one of the coolest looking hotels I’ve ever stayed in Loved all the kitschy decor over the walls in the room and throughout the property The employees were extremely welcoming throughout my visit

Parking in underground garage was secure and easy to get in and out Breakfast items are made to order in the lobby, and what I had was delicious

Skye Baker

The experience my friends and I had here was anything but amusing The rooms I must say are beautiful but with little inspection you can see how nasty they really are When we checked into our room we found a blood stain on the sheet

Looked like old period blood that was obviously never cleaned We were moved to a new room, a suite actually and given vouchers for breakfast Sounds amazing right? But no, our new room also had a huge urine stain on it At that point we were so tired we just asked for more blankets, inspected them and slept on chairs like old men And to make things worse in the morning they didn’t take our breakfast vouchers We went to the front desk and they wouldn’t accommodate us for anything We’re were also told they were overbooked for the next night so I expect more bad reviews coming soon Don’t stay here!!!! It’s cute in the pictures but not worth the stress!

Staff is very friendly and breakfast was really good with unique options like breakfast burritos and ham, egg, and cheese sandwiches, not just the basic continental breakfast options you are used toThe rooms, however, look and feel old The ice in the room freezer had a very soapy taste, even freshly made

The power actually flickered off and back on in the room when I used both the cooktop and microwave to make dinnerFinally, the beds We got a one bedroom suite fully expecting to use the foldout bed for the kids The foldout mattress was horrendous Extremely thin even for a foldout, and I swear I could feel every bar in the frame when laying on itEverything together led to us leaving a night early and driving the couple hours home to enjoy a good night of sleep

Toni Williams

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott Cincinnati Airport this past weekend The staff were extremely nice They went above and beyond in accommodating a couple of extra requests that we needed met during our stay

The complimentary breakfast was wonderful and the facility was VERY CLEAN This hotel was also conveniently located near the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter which we toured during our stay If ever in the area again, the Residence Inn by Marriott Cincinnati Airport is most definitely high on the list for best places to stay Thank you!!!

Lynette Hamilton

We clearly indicated a wheelchair accessible room was required when we made our reservation They did NOT have one on check-in The regular room was too tight for the chair

They did comp that nightMoved to one the next day which flooded the next morning It was still quite wet after being “cleaned” My carpet cleaner would have gotten up moreThe open courtyard between buildings and going outside, was the ONLY way to move between, also deeply flooded in the rainThe rain was not accounted for when the buildings and grounds were designed

Everything about this place was fantastic! The bed was so soft I actually woke up with no back pain, the 2 person spa tub was amazing, the grounds are absolutely gorgeous, I could go on and on And Leanne (the lady who runs the BnB) was the best host She was only a text away and she responded within a minute

She went above and beyond to make her guests happy And she’s a great cook, because the breakfast we ordered was delicious! And we can forget the resident kitty, who was also very friendly and sweet We will definitely be going back!

Tara Lane

I would like to express how breathtaking this visit was Although we weren’t on vacation or there for an exciting event, it was surprising and tucked away yet comforting and relaxing Just to explain my great aunt Janet Bell ( forever in my heart) passed away and she was just a blessed woman filled with the love of Jesus and she chose this place to have a meal after her burial do the family could celebrate her life! And that we did! As we walked from the convent parking to the small walkway it let you down a curving walk way of cooling water features and comfortable seating areas with fireplaces to a small yet elegant hall with large round tables for the family to be seating and enjoy good company and conversation

Adjacent to the seating area was a fully usable kitchen that was set with the food the family provided in buffet style for efficient time frame as we were all hot, tired, and grieving As you can imagine our thoughts were all over the place and it was a nice side thought to take away from the reality of our loss Thanks to family and my Aunt it was a great choice And to the business for opening and maintaining such a nice property

Kelley Carameli

Another great stay at the Weller Haus in Newport! High-quality stay from the amazing breakfast delivered to room, to the deep whirlpool tub (in the Margaret’s Porch Suite), and the extra amenities – room robes, common room w/ snacks, and lovely garden in-prep for Spring Quiet street, good parking, easy process Looking forward to another visit in the future – our “go to” place when in Cincinnati/KY Bourbon Trail

Honestly, I could not come up with one negative thing about staying at this hotel The persons working the front desk were all polite, welcoming and helpful The restaurant staff as well were attentive

The room was clean and comfortable The decor of this hotel is be on belief You will not regret staying here Okay, there is one negative I had a work van with a height of 8’ 4” and none of the indoor garage in the area could accommodate it so we had to meter street park a block and a half away I’m glad it wasn’t raining or snowing Oh well, you can’t have it all, right?Check out the pictures and enjoy your stay If this review helps, please like

Kelly Davis

First Mark Man that helps you with your luggage is the hardest working man in the hotel Please give him a raise immediately The hotel history is fantastic

The art deco is fantastic The rooms are small I asked for a coffee in the restaurant during their breakfast they wanted to charge me 275?!? There was a pot sitting there with to go cups and they said it would cost me… okay no Okay place Hard-working employees

Matt Ernst

We stayed the weekend due to the location of a venue we were attending The front desk was professional, but didn’t seem to care about your stay, possibly due to a fully booked hotel and understaffed? We used the app to check in at 5pm, but our room wasn’t ready until 7:30 which was very unfortunate after a long road trip The room itself was very small, which I get you’ll find in some of the more historical hotels, but it was dirty

The floor wasn’t swept, you could see chips and crumbs on the floor, noticeable dust on the floor, the bedding had ripped fabric, and the bathroom didn’t appear to be cleaned I’m a huge coffee drinker, the coffee maker didn’t work, there was coffee, but no cups, so that was a bit annoying (I did track down housekeeping and they were able to get a replacement for us which was great) The mini fridge was very warm, so we had to pull out the unit to turn down the temp and it was disgusting, literally a layer of black dust coating the top The hotel was totally booked, and with several concerts downtown, there were no other available properties to book at the last minute so we just decided to make the best of it Our next day we messaged the hotel for fresh towels and coffee cups, but nothing, maybe their messaging service was down We did not contact the front desk directly because the front desk didn’t seem to care about any of our initial concerns We did reach out to the Hilton Customer Service Department Now for the good The location is great, 3 minute walk to the stadium, the security guards, support staff, bar and restaurant service was great, very friendly If you’re staying on the weekend, a lot of the shops and restaurants in the vicinity will be closed (only open during the week supporting local businesses) so just be prepared for that And by chance if you’re a cigar smoker, there a fantastic cigar shop right around the corner (about a block away) with great prices and selection!

My husband and I came down for a quick, one-night stay to celebrate our anniversary The hotel was beautiful, the suite they upgraded us to was flawless, and the hotel staff, from the valet to the young woman who checked us in, were all friendly and helpful The location was also fantastic

Great views of downtown, and the walk to Fountain Square was only about ten minutes A special thanks to Krystal, a manger, who must have noticed I was pregnant and had a bottle of sparkling grape juice chilled for us when we returned to our room after dinner Such a sweet touch that made our little getaway even more special Definitely the place to stay in Cincinnati

Ebk M

Beautiful historic hotel, impeccable attention to detail, spacious rooms and luxurious retreat! I had a pleasant 2 night stay with my husband and 2 small kids Customer service was great, nice cleaning service It was nice and air-conditioned throughout the building, including our room

Our room had a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker We also had a flat screen to keep us entertained Our favorite guest perks were the pool, hot tub, and breakfast As soon as we got to the hotel from a long drive, we took a nice, and relaxing dip in the swimming area The pool water was nice and warm , we quite enjoyed it Breakfast serves from 6-9am Affordable pricing and great location!

Jonattan Colon

I stayed 3 days with my wife and 7 year old Son Great room, my room had a mini fridge and microwave which it was great The place was very clean and family friendly

The breakfast was really good Lots of places to visit around, specially the Ark encounter Lots of dining options around The only negative was the lady at the front desk (Michelle) she was rude and had Zero customer service There was another gentleman at the front desk, he was really and made us feel welcome

John Dew

Disappointed Great location and an attractive building exterior and large, inviting entry with friendly, welcoming front desk help And it’s in a great location

That’s the good newsOne very small, very slow, elevator for 4 floors We had to be moved twice before settling into a room The first had a door that wouldn’t lock The second room had an air conditioner leaking so badly the room smelled of mold and mildew The room we finally stayed in left some questions as to the cleanliness as there were clearly visible stains on the comforter plus a sink that drained slower than an hourglass

Great hotel, nice rooms Our check in/out was so easy Great place for a conference, lots of space, rooms, hallways and ballrooms

They have a really nice indoor pool so bring your swim suit!I took a star because it was incredibly hot in the hallways and they have low ceilings in the hall The low ceilings in the hallway made me feel claustrophobicWe ate and got drinks in the restaurant $35 for 2 Malibu breezes, bbq sliders and onion rings The food was really good after a long day of travel

Phillip Adcock

The staff were exceptional Both front desk and restaurant Rooms were very clean and modern

No issues on that end The pool and hot tub the biggest reasons we chose to stay at this hotel over the hotel our group stayed in was a major let down The indoor pool was ice cold It literally felt like someone had dumped buckets upon buckets upon buckets of ice into the pool, it was seriously that cold The hot tub was a nice toasty 104 degrees However there was no jet action, turning the nob to activate jet timer didn’t work no matter how many times you tried The only circulation of water was the outlet and inlet that just circulate the water enough to keep it warm The sauna which was a feature I was personally super excited to use was non functional Note not noting this anywhere, the door nob was simply removed and the door was screwed to it’s frame The interior of the hot tub itself had some very sharp concrete edges from the concrete chipping away over time So I’d very much say that side of the pool area was in need of renovationThe most disappointing part was that check-in staff didn’t advise of the lack of sauna amenity or that the hot tub didn’t have operational jets even though it was still open for use

Dewayne Smith

I stayed one night before an early flight and paid to leave my vehicle parked in the extended stay parking until my return flight one week later The shuttle picked me up at the airport upon my return and drove me to my car When I started the vehicle to leave, it was loud and roaring

I drove to the nearest Service center and they informed me the catalytic converter had been cut off of it They said the vehicle would have had to have been jacked up in order for someone to access it the way they did and make such a clean cut When I contacted the hotel, the lady told me there had been a lot of that happening at their lot, but they thought the police had caught who it was because they hadn’t had another case reported in about a month She said they did have a security guard that patrolled the parking lot, but they had no cameras Obviously the security is lacking if someone is able to jack a vehicle up in the middle of the parking lot and do this She told me the main manager to contact was not in until the next week I left a voicemail and he returned my call the next week Basically said sorry nothing we can do Did not offer to even refund the parking fee paid for “secure parking” I had to file a police report, and the officer told me that they have had numerous cases reported of this happening at this hotel I wonder why they won’t put cameras in with this happening multiple times? I’ve had to file a claim with my insurance for repair costs, not to mention the 2-4 week wait quoted for the parts due to shortages I will NEVER stay here again and don’t recommend it to anyone! Be aware!

Our stay was great! Hotel looked great I didn’t see past Lobby and room since we got there late in the day Room was so clean Hotel was in a great location

Stay: June 16-18thReason: ConferenceExperience: Overall, my stay was positive and enjoyable My room was comfortable and clean (but the bed doesn’t face the TV?) I had a great view of the fireworks at the Great American Ballpark! However, my check in experience was frustrating

I booked a room block with the conference I was attending which was a king room I was put in a double queen on the top floor I called down to the desk to ask if I could be placed in the correct room and they accommodated my request I hauled my luggage back downstairs to pick up keys to my new room, and once I got to the room the keys didn’t work I had to haul my luggage back down to the desk again to get new keys and finally was able to get into my room I dined at the breakfast buffet prior to checking out and overall the food was okay The bacon was pretty salty but everything else was tasty I do want to warn you that you will have to park across the street in the garage (it cost me $48 by the time I left on Saturday) and there is no assistance to transport your luggage, so prepare yourself!

We stayed here when visiting the Creation Museum and the Ark We had a wonderful experience! We stayed in a two bedroom unit Loved having the little kitchen area to store any food and the big fridge was great

Location wise it’s not far from a lot of things The place itself was very clean Breakfast was great Kids enjoyed the indoor swimming pool in the evenings I liked that it wasn’t right on a busy road Even though it’s close to the airport there wasn’t a single time an airplane was loud enough to bother us or for us to even notice

Regina Phillips

The staff was Amazing! Everyone was extremely helpful and accommodating Breakfast was great and Happy hour was awesomeThe bed was super comfy which is a plus for us! The shower heads were top notch which we’ve decided to have that added to our shower in our home

We have no complaints and stayed for two weeksThank you to all the staff for your hospitality!

I gave a 3 star because the room we stayed in was stated to be ADA accessible with a roll in shower That was not the case The shower had a large lip

As for the toilet, it was so low that I couldn’t get up without help, there were no grab bars around the toiletIf not for that I’d give it a 5 The hotel was clean, food was decent, some days better than others but overall was fine We had 3 breakfasts and one dinner thereHotel was clean, staff was very friendly and helpful They made our stay very pleasant I would stay again

I have been staying here for a very long time If you stay for a few days you for sure won’t be let downEverything about my stay was wonderful! The staff was very friendly and welcoming! Room was clean and modern And view was amazing I can honestly say this would be in my top 3 of hotel experiences! I will definitely book here the next time I’m in town

Brie Welch

Hotel is very clean, and feels modern If not a bit quiet even Hotel room was extremely spacious, clean, and bed was comfortable

Only disappointment was there was no hot-tub with the pool Gym was big and had everything you could need Staff was friendly, helpful and personally loved the atrium effect Good views of Ohio, rivers and bridges And close enough to walk to downtown – about 23 min over the bridge Would certainly stay again

Mary Regan

My sister, niece and I were there for an event and stayed 2 nights The staff was friendly and the room was great The view was phenomenal

the valet staff was witty and engaging each time we needed them The event was there in the hotel and I hope it will be again next year as I will be back and look forward to staying with you all again The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was when I checked in the front desk said I had a King room but I had booked a 2 queen room and was told I would have to take the king but then another associate indeed found me the room I booked I was given complimentary breakfast tickets which I thought was a nice touch The breakfast buffet was good

We absolutely loved all the art throughout the hotel Perhaps they will add more art to the second level

We rented the deluxe king and the room was clean and cozy The bathroom tiles in the shower were a very nice touch The restaurant Metropole, which is with in the hotel, was absolutely delicious We stayed during the week of Christmas, we were able to attend an indoor light show within walking distance of the hotel I would highly recommend this hotel

Honestly, had a rough experience and did get the support from the staff we’d hoped forFirst off, we booked a stay on a date that specifically could accommodate a momma to be massage After several emails confirming our date/stay would work with a spa service

we got a phone call less than an hour before heading up to the massage There was no availability to rebook us before we leftIt’s of course understandable that someone gets sick or calls off but what was very disappointing was the staff did not try to apologize for the mishap and no one acknowledged how incredibly last minute the cancellation happenedI tried talking to the front desk and was absolutely brushed off and my emails were ignored It definitely did not feel the experience I paid forAlso, I am aware this is petty but the front desk told us there was complimentary breakfast from 7-10 We were downstairs by 9 and saw everything gone When I asked the desk they said they wouldn’t be refilling it and the restaurant wouldn’t open until dinnerThe hotel made us feel like we were not guests but quite frankly a burden to everyone working!

Daniel McGee

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a very nice boutique hotel and potentially the best in downtown Cincinnati, but our most recent stay left much to be desired We booked a corner room for a parents night out and were surprised to find one of the bathroom sinks not functional (luckily there were two) and only 1 set of towels The hotel bar was nice but the drinks were a tad bit on the strong side

The toiletries are high end except for the hand soap that leaves a strange film on your skin Lastly, the bathroom was nice, but by no means luxurious which is what I expect for a $400+ room We may stay here again but mainly due to the lack of other options in such a great location

Overall I had a great stay here, it was a last minute booking near the airport for a night as my flight got cancelled I gave their front desk a call to see about the airport shuttle and they came and got me immediately, which I really appreciated, being stranded at the airport otherwise Everyone working was wonderful

Only issue was a big crowd of parents and kids that used all the public spaces basically all night and were very loud in the hallways, constantly knocking on doors and yelling I was hoping to use the pool, but really couldn’t And there looked to be a tray with a used coffee filter just sitting on the TV stand in my room But overall for what the hotel has the power to change, it was a great stay

Dan Thompson

GREAT HOTEL EXPERIENCE!!! I highly recommend this hotel! We wanted to stay at a nicer hotel that had a nice pool area, and this one even had a hottub! The kids looked forward to the pool every single night, and they leave their pool area open til 11:00PM! AWESOME! Their breakfasts were great, with a lot of variety and options! There were no loud noises during the night and we never heard our neighbors being loud at all On our last night we stayed here, some dumb kid had “an accident” in the pool, and so, in accordance with health department requirements they had to stick chemicals into the pool and shut it down for 24 hours When we got down the elevators and saw the CLOSED sign our kids were BUMMED!!! 🙄🙄🙄 We had started going back up the elevator to our room, but then the desk worker came up to the elevator doors and informed us that the hotel right next door was also their sister hotel and that if we wanted to, we could walk over there and use their pool

Which we all did, and the kiddos all had a blast on their last night! We REALLY REALLY appreciated them doing that for us Was very nice 😊😊👍👍

This is a must stay if you are searching in the northern Kentucky area just over the Ohio border My Family of 4 went on an over night business trip and we 100% picked this hotel because of the HOT TUB! That is right, a pool and hot tub and that area of the hotel is available until 11pm! This is one of the only hotels with a hot tub with in I would guess a 30min to one hour radius (believe me I have already done the research for you!) The hot breakfast offered in the morning was great, the decor and cleanliness is top notch, there are many other amenities including an outside patio and fireplace and the staff were nice! This hotel is worth the price with 2 thumbs up and I will definitely be back if I stay in the area

Stopped on our way from NY to Tennessee to get a few hours rest The staff was AMAZING from the minute we checked in until we checked out Beds were comfy, room was clean & perfectly located for us to take our little dog outside

Highly recommend & if we ever need to stop for some rest again while traveling through Ohio, hands down we will stay at the Country Inn & Suites!

Sara Rawls

Stayed at the Hotel for a business event When I checked in I went to hand the front desk my tax exempt form and the gentleman told me they did not need a copy of it I then went to my room and when I went to use the restroom there was a massive water damage leak that look like it was about to burst in any minute

The rooms are extremely small and definitely did not have any renovations done on them when the building was updated As well I was on the first floor where someone could have walked up to my window and seen completely in my room if the blinds weren’t kept shut When I went to check out, they had not removed the taxes I then went and gave them another tax exempt form and ask them to email me the updated receipt When I received the email they had charged me twice for state tax instead of removing it I then had to return to the hotel after my event and wait an hour for them to get my receipt correct While I understand it was not one soul person, and some situations cannot be controlled, this was not the full case with everything that happened to me Especially for not having any real breakfast except for grab and go items, this hotel is not worth the money or the difficulties

Tori Foltz

The hotel was incredibly easy to find from the interstate, and we weren’t expecting a Waffle House in the same parking lot so that was an added bonus Came up last weekend for a concert and only stayed for one night and got a late checkoutThe people working check-in Saturday were doing an awesome job despite being busy

We didn’t get up in time for breakfast, but right now it’s grab and go because they are short staffed (which I can completely understand!) so just keep that in mind when you’re looking to book

My family and I were in town for a baseball game We booked 3 rooms, but my wife and I arrived first The gentlemen at guest service center checked us in, they were very friendly but they told us we had to pay for all 3 rooms, plus the $20 refundable damage room deposit for each room

We asked why and if we could just pay for our room, but we were told no, because the original credit card that was initially used to reserve the rooms could not be billedSo we paid the charges as we were tired and just wanted to rest after a 400 mile drive Then when my brother-in-law arrived he asked them why the policy change? Since they previously stayed here and had always been allowed to pay each individual room When they gave him an answer, they accused us of never asking to only pay for our roomThe following morning, I went to the guest service center and I asked the front desk to please send extra pillows to my room as I have a bad back and had a terrible time sleeping I was told they would send them upMy wife and I went out to a baseball game that was moved from sn afternoon game to a late 7pm game Needless to say, we were gone a majority of the day Later that evening we returned about 10:30p – 11:00p and our room had not only not been cleaned, but our pillows were no where to be foundI phoned the front desk, pleaded with them I was offered an apology for the mishap and was told they would send the pillows up immediately We waited until after midnight and the request for the extra pillows never arrivedMy family and I will not be returning

Heather Franklin

The staff was friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was great The room sucked tho The a/c unit wasnt functioning

They had adjoining doors to the rooms and we could hear the tv and conversation from the room next door The entry door to the room was raised from the floor about an inch so the light and noise from hallway drifted in The view from the 6 fl offered an abandoned lot with tons of graffiti and when pulling in to the hotel entrance there is an abandoned house on the corner On the positive side the location was great for enjoying the aquarium I would not stay here again

Gina Mathews

Arrived early and went inside just to see what there was to do in the area before check-in Well, I was told there was one room ready and I could check in The check in person did not tell me they were charging me

I saw the charge on my bank account after I returned home So much for thinking she was just being nice Room was clean, bed was comfy Breakfast was just ok

Great experience I came in late but through the mobile app, I was able to go straight up to my room I was pleasantly surprised at how well kept the hotel is

Breakfast in the morning was great Typically I skip hotel coffee, but this place actually had incredible coffee (dark roast)The scenery was also breathtaking

Jamie Williams

This hotel was very nice! It is probably the most bang for our buck of any hotel my family has ever stayed at The room was clean and very spacious The front desk staff was very polite and professional

The pool area was clean with plenty of towels Breakfast was about average for a continental but the hours of it lasting until 10 was nice (I’ve been to many that only last until 9) Late checkout was offered at no additional cost so I could let kids swim after breakfast and before hitting the road again The pull out bed was a bit springy but we just had a kid on it and they can sleep comfortably on just about anything There is a 24 hour sweets/snacks bar that I wish I could have gone to buy I was more tired than hungry when we arrived My only regret is that we ran late because of so much construction in the states we traveled that day so we couldn’t really enjoy ourselves on arrival We pretty much had to just go straight to bedIf I were to point out any negative things, it would be that the bathroom is kinda small and plain compared to the rest of the room It was fine when factored in with how nice and how clean the room was Also, it’s a PITA to get to when traveling east from Cincinnati and you aren’t familiar with the area The tall sign for the hotel had fallen also, but again, still a great place The view of the city from the parking lot was spectacular!
