If it were not for the fact that they have 99 Restaurant attached, this place would be rated even lowerThe rooms are old and dark Outlets are almost impossible to find

None at the work desk! The AC/Heater is noisy so I just shut it off as I like sleeping in a cold roomThis is a 4 story property and the elevator is out of service A card in the key envelope apologized for this and also let me know it is the original from when the building was built in 1969 Guess they got their moneysworth but now you have to lug your stuff up the stairwellA breakfast buffet was included, but since the 99 restaurant is not open in the morning, they put out a buffet that makes a Holiday Inn Express breakfast look like gourmet dining

Brittany Eiffert

I booked a Deluxe King room, and on arrival was told there are none available and had to settle for the room with 2 queen beds (fine no big deal I’ll live) I walked in the room and it smelled God awful like fish or moldy something I could not figure out where it was coming from I went to Walmart across the street for febreeze and that did not help either I let the front desk know and they said they’ll let housekeeping know

That’s it I requested a late check out, front desk said no problem til 1pm without a fee Housekeeping and the front desk began calling me at 11am to check out It says Breakfast included for a fee but you’re also charged for the cost of the meal on top of the fee

Lori Crews

Highly disappointing I booked my room online which was for a king bed/room only to find out that their elevators wasn’t working that day so they end up putting me on the second floor with two double beds instead so of course the room was alot smaller When I finally got back to my room later that day the refrigerator didn’t work so the food I ordered stayed out all night that I had to end up tossing in the morning

Also when I went to swivel the tv in my direction im laying down on the bed the tv went out (black) do I had to end up playing with the power cord in the back of the tv So In all my stay wasn’t pleasant at all

SpringHill Suites in Danbury is an excellent choice when staying in the area! Beautiful hotel in a great, quiet location The staff are very friendly and helpful The rooms are spacious, well designed with lovely decor

Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the fitness centreThe only improvement I would recommend is in-room safes

Lori Curley

This hotel is decent It looks pretty modern on the outside and in the lobby The rooms are fine

I would say, a little bit dated looking and dark but clean and had everything we needed including a couch/seating area, a refrigerator, coffee, desk area, wifi etc Front desk people were very nice so all in all it was a decent stay

Reggie Watkins

DO NOT let them put you in room 114There’s a tapping in the wall above the bed It will start about 3 am

They will act like they have no clue It’s not a new hotel They knowOtherwise, the walls are paper thin and you’ll hear every noise down the hallway as well as inside the rooms beside you

We had a room block here for our wedding last weekend and everything about the West Lane Inn was absolutely perfect It felt like we were living in a beautiful, historic yet renovated house for the weekend Christine & Danille were exceptional – couldn’t have been more accommodating or kinder to us and our guests, and were just absolute sweethearts

The rooms were absolutely gorgeous, too We will definitely be back for future anniversaries!

Tamar Skolnick

We loved that the inn was steps away from our wedding venue, Keeler Tavern, and also right next door to a restaurant and super close to the main strip of RidgefieldWe spent two nights here with our families for our wedding weekend, and it was the most magical and special weekend we could’ve imagined, thanks to Christine & Danille’s hospitality and meticulous organization They helped us organize rooms for each family member based on their needs and went above and beyond to accommodate the families with toddlers and babies with anything they needed

They also created the perfect goodbye breakfast for us on Sunday so that others who weren’t at the inn could drop byThe inn is charming inside and out It’s located in an old new England home, but completely renovated on the inside The bedrooms each have a unique theme and everything is sparkling clean But it’s not just the bedrooms that are perfectly clean Every corner of the inn is clean and immaculate and gorgeous The best part was the front porch and the tables, which created the ideal space for us all of us to be togetherThere are just endless things I could write about how great this place is We’ll never forget this amazing weekend that Christine and Danille helped make a reality We’re already excited to think of returning for a future anniversary

George Hrico

We love the West Lane Inn! Danille & Christine are the absolute best! They are the most accessible and caring Inn owners we have ever met Their small hotel in Ridgefield CT is absolutely stunning and cozy and the owner’s energy just enhances the experience My wife and I have stayed multiple times while we were performing a house search in the nearby area

Each time we arrived not only did we have an absolutely wonderful hotel experience we felt truly taken care of Danille talked us through the pros and cons of the area Gave us numerous recommendations for places to check out and vendors to speak with and made us feel incredibly welcome We’d be lying if we said that a portion of our decision to move to the area wasn’t in part due to the friendliness and welcome nature of the folks at the West Lane Inn We’ll be pointing family and friends to this lovely inn for years to come If you are passing through New England check it out!

One of our biggest complaints was the noise level There were teens running between rooms and slamming doors at 1am and people playing loud music outside in their cars, then gunning it to get on the roadBetween our two rooms we had vastly different experiences

The first room was ok, but there was water leaking under the carpet, the shower was clean but needed some new caulking, and the door didn’t shut/open unless it was pushed hard It was very humid in the room Bed was clean and the pillows were nice Ac worked well We didn’t use the jet tub, so no comment there but it looked cleanThe second room was not good at all, unfortunately The outlets on 2 of 3 lamps didn’t work and the only remaining outlets available were behind the bed The lamp with the working outlets flickered, and the fridge was sort of coolBreakfast was cold eggs and some other munchies Not the nicestFront staff were very nice Housekeeping cleaned and made the beds, but didn’t refill the coffee stuff Not a huge issueLarge parking spots and area, but if you’re in the front of the hotel, except to hear a lot of road noise

Anthony Cotugno

This place needs and overhaul and an update really bad The toilet seat was so worn and discolored it was weird Rust all along the bathroom area

My wife wouldn’t even use the shower WheN I did the water was lukewarm at its hottest Although the pressure was good Parking kind of sucks but so be it Would not stay here again But the staff was extremely friendly and helpful

Amanda Badillo

From the moment we booked my wedding block with the Holiday Inn Express, the staff was more than accommodating – from the front desk to the hotel manager who originally helped us to book a block of rooms Then, we had the absolute pleasure of working alongside Tela, the sales manager and she truly went ABOVE AND BEYOND She was super easy to communicate with through both email and phone

When we went there to confirm everything a few days before my wedding she took us around the entire hotel confirming the rooms we wanted, how the conference room would be setup for my makeup artist that was coming, and so on The night before the wedding came and the entire staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and beyond welcoming! The front desk had a sign greeting me and my now-husband and the room I was staying in had a welcome gift of wine and truffles A little while later Tela and another front desk staff greeted us in our room and brought us some complimentary snacks which was just amazing! The next day the conference room was set up completely for my makeup/hair stylist and came equipped with complimentary drinks and snacks! They also allowed for my husband to check in early to our complimentary room (this came with a wedding package that we booked with Anthony’s Lake Club) with his groomsmen to get ready in and that room also had complimentary snacks and drinks as a warm welcoming! I literally cannot recommend this hotel more – the staff was incredible, the rooms were spotless, and the hotel LITERALLY just has this super clean smell that I feel like a lot of the other hotels I looked at lacked lol Do yourself a favor and book your next stay here!

So I rated this place just okay It is in a good location I stayed in a room with two queens

The room is very dark It was rather weird There is one light near the bed that does not out of light There’s a hall light and then there’s a light over a bench by the window The TV is pretty small which was kind of shocking But it was fine for just watching a show The room also had a small coffee maker and a microwave as well as a mini fridge The bathroom is very small and there is not a lot of counter space There is no elevator so if you have any issues definitely let the front desk know before you book The so-called free breakfast was terrible There were some tiny stale buns and some English muffins and toast There was no coffee when I went down There’s two types of cereal And there were some apples That’s it Oh and they did have some peach yogurts I don’t understand why there wasn’t just plain vanilla Perhaps they went with whatever was on sale

Christine Salazar

You get what you pay for The rooms are comfy and clean (that’s the most important, right?!) and recently renovated, and the parking lot is well-lit There IS a continental breakfast but it’s meager

Just starches The walls are thin, and I can hear conversations outside and in the hallway Fortunately there hasn’t been any raucous parties It’s a fair deal for a few nights Doesn’t need to be fancy if it’s clean and comfortable I love that rooms have a mini fridge and microwave!Overall, would recommend again With a few suggestions:1 Include some protein in breakfast… boiled eggs, bagels with cream cheese, cheese sticks,etc2 Add some hooks for towels in the bathroom3 Re-screen the windows that open so people may enjoy the lovely Connecticut fresh air without concern for bugs

D. Bell

This hotel is clean and newer There are only two floors to this hotel so there is no elevator No one was at the desk when we arrived

They have it set up so that you need to press a bell and someone comes out We had tried calling when we were on our way because we were a little early I let the phone ring and ring and ring I hung up and tried again And I tried one more time At that time we had pulled into the parking lot The front door was a jar and didn’t close all the way The door at the far end of the first floor hallway, which is an entrance from the parking lot, did not have a swipe pad! It had been removed and wires were hanging The door was unlocked and anyone could come in This is not acceptable Security when staying in a hotel should be top priorityWhen we got to our room I tried calling down to the front desk because we needed something in our room Again I tried at least four times to reach someone at the desk and to no avail My husband finally went down to the front desk to speak with someone He told the front desk staff that we couldn’t get a hold of anyone He apologized to my husband The desk staff person was very accommodating and friendly when we did make contact Our room was clean and neatYour flagpole looks bare A nice American flag would add just the touch! Please fix that security riskotherwise the hotel was good

I don’t leave many reviews, but I wanted to address 2 things about our stay here First, Couri and Rae are amazing! They were calm, problem solved, and were very friendly and professional! After being in the car all day, we were tired and less than pleased to find out the hotel oversold However, they were able to help accommodate

Second, Hilton really needs to get it together and stop overselling rooms To collect money on a room that isn’t available seems fraudulent to me, and certainly, at the least, it’s bad business I certainly hope Hilton attempts to rectify this, so we get what we paid for, and their employees aren’t put on the spot trying to explain a situation they didn’t create However, the room was clean, and we were glad to get settled after driving all day

Brandon P (BJRone)

The facility itself is nice but my overall experience was poor Over TWO nights, there was screaming and yelling outside my room in the hallway , that lasted for multiple hours There were people shouting across the hall from different rooms(I assume they knew each other)twerking in the hallway(I wish I was kidding) and just general rowdiness

I put in numerous complaints to the front desk and seemingly nothing was done because it was allowed to continue I was very close to confronting the offending parties myself but I didn’t want to put myself or my partner at risk Overall my trip to the area was severely hampered because of my lack of sleep I have never in my life seen a hotel let patrons run rampant with no recourse To be fair I don’t know if the hotel ever confronted these individuals but if they did its almost worse because they did not have any plans in place to enforce any sort of actionI will again give credit where its due and say the hotel is clean and modern, and I was always greeted warmly by the cleaning staff(they deserve a raise) In all other aspects, especially front desk/management, I was extremely disappointed by my terrible experience

Marie Williams

It was ok

marked heavily on cleanliness Its just my pet peeve that the shower curtain liner was dirty and I dont understand why a hotel wouldn’t change these out in between guests Overall, it could have used a real good scrub down Other than that, it was fineEDIT: I see you apologized but somehow your response seems to diminish the fact that there was a dirty shower liner because other guests rated it well So you don’t think it’s a big deal, but others might when they see a brown stain on the plastic liner and just overall not clean What I see is varied reviews on cleanliness issues There were issues with the bistro due to staffing, but I did not mentioned that as it was the cleanliness I was addressing

Family of 4 stayed in Annex #3 (King bed+ bunk beds!), very clean and comfortable all around Great location Liz was very friendly and welcoming

Appreciated full coffee/tea/hot cocoa station and refrigerated bottled water/beverages Main house was lovely, well decorated, not cluttered We enjoyed reading on the front porch Great Saturday farm market, and local hiking

Lawrence Williams

Excellent spot to stay! Stay in the Homestead Inn it’s worth it for the breakfasts alone We did not look at the Treadwell Annex rooms (breakfast not included) but, if we had to stay in one we would gladly pay for the breakfast The location is also fantastic

Park the car and walk around town The New Milford Green offers classic New England charm along with plenty of great eateries and shops

David Pier a.k.a. Acoustic Rockapalooza

We booked the Monroe room It reeked of cigarette smoke, as did the hallway leading to the room In all the common areas, there are Air Wick scent plug-ins used in every room

Funny how they tell you there is a $15000 fee for smoking in your room They were able to put us into a smaller room, but we wanted the larger room We asked for a discount on the smaller room and the response was a blank look We needed to leave early in the morning, prior to the 8:30 am breakfast schedule and they wouldn’t prepare anything for us to take on the road We’ve stayed at numerous B&B’s and this is the first time that request was not granted The person managing the building should not be in the hospitality businessEDIT TO ADD: Don’t believe anything written by the owner in their response There was no offer to fumigate the room, it wasn’t a faint smell (it was strong), it wasn’t in a neighboring room , it wasn’t cigar smoke and at no time was anybody asked to stop smoking In fact, the innkeeper, told us a delivery person was the culprit for smoking outside the building and the smoke came into the room The smell was so thick it was disgusting Just what you want to deal with after a 6 hour drive How about those Air Wick fresheners plugged into the outlets of all the common rooms? Nice homey touch

The hotel is very modern and classy Nice interior decorations and nice furniture I enjoyed the hotel very much

It is very updated and the amenities are great The lobby is very beautiful and I was able to take many pics for my birthday One thing I didn’t like was that both days the room was very cold The heat did not work properly and we had cold air coming from the vent on top of bed all night Also the bathroom sink kept clogging Lastly in the suite there is no closet space which I found very strange Overall staff was very nice and helpful Loved the free Starbucks coffee and tea in lobby

I got married at Le Chateau on April 1 Many guests, my husband, and I stayed I had a suite with my husband which was so clean and warm!! The mattress was so comfortable too

They allowed us to have a after party after my wedding and allowed us to bring food and drinks in The common area was so adorable and nice for everyone!!? The manager and staff were so helpful with all of the details for my guests staying at the hotel Thank you very much for amazing service !!! I couldn’t have asked for anything more! I HIGHLY recommend staying here !!!

We stayed here for our wedding with all our close friends and families The hotel is very clean and well-kept All our rooms were spacious enough and the service was great

We did wait for a while to check in but given the guests number it was understandable They also have other wedding group staying there during the same weekendThey have breakfast included in the morning and have cute outdoor area with fire pits for guests to hangout We had a great time thereThere is an Italian restaurant Terra on-site (not owned by the hotel) They have good food but their service is questionable I left google view on their page if you are curious how our wedding group got treated horribly there But again this has nothing to do with the hotel experienceLast but not the least, they have very friendly and caring staff, in contrary to the restaurant I left my makeup mirror at the hotel After the reception staff Julio found out that we were local and not far from him He went out of his way and returned the mirror to us We really appreciated his help!

From basic amenities to luxurious suites, this property provides a wide range of options The cleanliness is outstanding, the staff friendly and accommodating, and they seem to continuously improve the property The location is absolutely key here, many trails and natural forests as well as small All-American New England towns and vibes

Very happy with our overnight stay Large room with a big bathroom Clean, updated, quiet from road noise

We were very tired from a long trip and left early to get on the road back to our NH home We got a phone call to say we had left a briefcase in the room so we turned round and went back to get it Everything was safe inside the briefcase Rustic and charming main building Would stay again

First night we were there my niece got a shard of glass stuck in her foot when she got into bed Went to the front desk and the overnight counter guy told me the owner sean would contact me the next morning That night we had bugs crawling all over the room and what was either bbq sauce or ketchup in the draw stained inside

The following morning I never heard from the owner Went to the office multiple times asking for Sean the owner and told the morning person and evening person I needed to talk with him and nothing after leaving Sunday morning the girl at the desk told me that she would make sure sean the owner would contact me and still nothing The girl blamed my niece saying that it was stuck to her shoe Terrible dirty place with a owner who doesn’t care about his guests Only reason there is 1 star is I can’t give 0 Thanks for the call Sean

I think it’s a hit or miss depending on the room you get I’m a titanium elite with lifetime gold status and booked here to take advantage of my two comped nights before they expired Check in was a breeze, got bonus points for the booking, a bottle of water and a prize wheel spin, won a free pantry item

We got put in room 109 for two nights and it faced the highway I didn’t get any of my room/stay preferences: Requested high floor, got 1st floor Requested foam pillows, got deflated feather pillowsPros: Staff was very friendly Breakfast was pretty decent The room although in desperate need of some maintenance looked decently clean for the surfaces we actually touchedCons:- Paper thin walls and windows I heard the gentleman above me walk around at 3AM to use the bathroom and then flush I heard the dogs three rooms down bark Cars and motorcycles that decided to speed on the highway could also be heard clearly throughout the day and night Bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper- Room 109 was like the forgotten step child There were several maintenance issues, misaligned doors, cabinets and damaged desks that some crazy glue could have easily fixed The tub looked rust stained from the iron in water There was also a 6 inch cobweb dangling in the corner of the room- The absolute worst was the bed The mattress and pillows were really uncomfortable and the frame creaked at every movement

For the price this hotel is not worth it yes it comes with some amenities like a swimming pool(an extremely small one at that) fitness center, the rooms are like studios with a full kitchen set up but everything is extremely outdated The sink and bathtub were both clogged The bathtub was just dirty it had a look of brown residue on the bottom

The bed was so hard and uncomfortable for 200$ one night stay just not worth it at all And for a 100% non smoking hotel the elevator reeked like a pack of Newport 1000’s It’s nice they accommodate dogs but for a $50 non refundable fee (per night)

I lived in the Extended Stay of Danbury for almost 12 months and was happy with the apartment and the extraordinary customer service I stayed in (2) different apartments and found them to be very clean and well equipped to meet the needs of someone who may be staying for a short time or a yearI would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a clean, safe place to call home during your time in CT

Very close to Danbury railway station Right off the interstate It’s a family owned business and they are very helpful

The neighborhood can get a little noisy on some weekends and you may hear vehicles on the highway during the nights which you get used to, but the rooms and the amenities are very good and well maintained and they take good care of their guests Ideal for students, business professionals and tourists I don’t think you would be able to get better value for your money anywhere else in Danbury It was a home away from home They have everything you need for a comfortable stay and the amenities are very modern I would definitely recommend this lovely place! Forgot to mention the large parking lot!
