The staff is professional, excellent, friendly, and patient All of them would bend over backwards to give us what we needed no matter how trivial The rooms are clean and unique; not cookie-cutter, chain hotel rooms

The entire hotel is unique and has a welcoming atmosphere We stayed here twice on our trip, and all the staff from the owner to the room service remembered us and treated us warmly The hotel is tucked in a quiet street making it easy for ride services to pick and drop off customers We will be staying here every time we visit Philadelphia

Stayed here for a night over the weekend Wow! I wish I had found this place sooner The room was very clean and you could tell it had been freshly remodeled

I stayed in the Henri which was on the top floor on the right side of the building It was very quiet and was a welcome relief from the noise of the city at night The AC took a bit to cool down the room after we checked in, but was eventually able to get it to a comfortable temperature The bed was a bit stiff for my taste, but not so stiff as to lessen my quality of sleep The continental breakfast in the morning was simple, but tasty and was enough for us to eat quickly before checkout If you want a more substantial breakfast, there are plenty of options within walking distance Bottom line if you’re looking for a quiet getaway in walking distance of all Central City has to offer, I definitely recommend staying here!

The stay here at the this hotel was spectacular The staff were so kind and accommodating! The manager Douglas and receptionist Elijah was very very helpful and went out of their way to make my stay pleasantThe manager Douglas bought me a new laptop mouse because he noticed I broke mine by accident

Really appreciate the thoughtfulness – very kind of himThe room and location is best Will definitely come back

It is a little old/showing it’s age and in general it’s what you’d expect from a lower price hotel near the airport; however 5 stars for the people Everyone who works here is friendly, helpful, quick to solve a problem Truly great customer service which is super hard to find

Also the shower was newly renovated and very clear and the towels felt new, thick and soft! Free airport shuttle too

Brian Santell

we stayed just for a night prior to an early morning flight Room was clean Shuttle was on time and easy to catch on the way back

Parking at the hotel while we were away was super cheap (approx $1250 per night) Their lot seemed fairly safe – I didn’t have any qualms about keeping my car there I would highly recommend this hotel if you are planning on driving to it and parking your car there while you travel

Jennifer Kelley

Quiet!!! We like to stay out by the airport when we come back to Philly It’s convenient for my family when we fly and also when we decide to drive from South Carolina We have seen a decline in our regular hotels and have had bad luck trying new places as there seems to be more and more people using the hotels as their homes

This place was nice, clean and quiet The staff was courteous and the on-site bar was definitely a plus when we were unexpectedly snowed in This mat be our new regular place to stay when we come to town

I’ve stayed at many hotels in my life (including The Eden Resort), and my stay at The Maj in Philly was by far the best experience I’ve ever hadThe pillows are the BEST pillows I’ve ever slept on in my LIFE! Dante was helpful to my boyfriend in booking the reservation India was helpful at check-in and showing us how to use the mirror

The woman who checked us out today was very courteous and asked about our stay It was very clean and comfortable The shower experience was very relaxing They have a lot of technology in the rooms too, including a Smart Mirror in the bathroom and a button to draw the curtainsDefinitely the most positive experience at a hotel

Pedro Reyes

When I selected this hotel, I selected it for its pet policy (I have a dog) and it’s proximity to the eastern state Penitentiary I had zero expectations of a good stay in downtown Philadelphia That being said, I was absolutely shocked with the quality of the facility – the rooms are all smart rooms with a ton of exceptional features I don’t typically find even in more expensive places, with everything from climate control to the smart mirror in the bathroom being controlled by your phone

In addition, the staff were an absolutely incredible breath of fresh air I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels and resorts and the staff here around the clock were some of the most professional, helpful, and courteous people I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with on a vacation Miss India, Sia, Maddie, in particular were available at all times and helpful 100% of the time If I had a question or a problem, they had a solution or an answer almost instantly 10/10 would stay at this place happily and I have no intention of ever staying anywhere else when I come to the area

Sara Jane

Clean, modern Hi-Tech boutique hybrid hotel The over all ambiance is sleek and minimalistic while still being tasteful and intimate Quality cotton bedding, towels and robes

Comfortable high end pillows and mattress Smart room features allow you to control the thermostat, TV, lights, blinds and door lock from your phone while the bathroom has a smart mirror It’s a short walking distance from museums, attractions and several great restaurants There is no parking or valet at this time and that was our only minor inconvenienceI highly recommend this hotel

Traveling outside one’s familiar settings is always a bit daunting, and emphatically needing a comfortable stay for multiple nights tends to put a high price on available offerings This Holiday Inn came recommended to me, and I’m so glad that it was – the rooms are wonderfully well-furnished, and luxuriously cozy It really felt as much like “home away from home” as a hotel could, with everything from climate control, carpeting, lights, shower and bathroom, and of course the bedding feeling Just Right

The in-house restaurant serves unexpectedly great food, and the staff are very friendly and professional All this, for a price that I think is pretty reasonable, and one I wouldn’t mind paying again A convenient location, in a quiet neighborhood, close to any possible stores, restaurants, or highways – if you’re looking to stay in Drexel Hill, for purposes whether local or generally nearby (eg Philadelphia), I think this Holiday Inn is a great value for your money

Lee Roberts

Hotel is off the beaten path Not many other people in hotel during my stay Indoor pool has salt water and has been broken for months waiting for a part

First room had clogged drains and area under bathroom sink had not been swept Here is the bright part Staff is incredible and switched my room right away Building is only 3 years old so amenities are modern Restaurant & bar on premises I would stay here again

Kim Glasford

We came to town for a baby shower in Clifton Heights Holiday Inn has always been one of my go to hotels plus I’m IHG rewards members The staff was friendly as usual

The room was clean and smell good The only think I had an issue with is the shower water pressure which seem to always be low at all Holiday Inn The bathroom toiletries was Dove productsThe Streetlight bar and restaurant is very nice had breakfast there before heading The buffet is $1699 per person I love there set up with the hotel

We came here for a convention It was conveniently located just across the street from the convention centerThe staff was friendly but the valet parking crew weren’t very efficient and we waited in line for about a half hour and parking is EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE!The front desk was helpful and efficient

The room was clean a d the AC worked but couldn’t be adjusted below 70 degreesTheir service was great and when we left out the do not disturb sign they would call to check if we wanted maid servicesWe stayed 5 days and were comfortable 😌It is situated right in down town and was convenient for walking to about anywhere we wanted to goWe feel like we can recommend this place

Very nice hotel Staff was Very Friendly and helpful Valets, Doormen, Bell Hops, Desk clerks, Housekeeping always cheerful and greeting you asking if you need help

(Adria greeted us at the front door when we arrived and started helping us from the get She even insisted on grabbing our bags from the trunk)Waiters at the restaurant in the Lobby were awesome (especially Altin and Edward)I wish I could remember all their names of the rest of the staff to put in a good word for all of themAs far as the hotel itself: Clean, and nice with good viewsCentrally located in the city Next to the Reading Terminal Market(Best eats in town) Convenient to the subway walking distance to Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell Walking distance to City Hall and Convention Center,

Alison Chaplin

I stayed here for a two- day work retreat The only positive was that the people who worked here were really nice and accommodating Parking was a nightmare, even for those who arrived early

The food was hit or miss– either there were a number of really tasty options, or everything was gross, depending on the meal My room was ok, but there was hair everywhere that could not have been mine and I couldn’t make the room cool enough to be comfortable Overall, it seemed like they couldn’t professionally handle the amount of people we had there

What started out disappointing turned out to be a decent stay I booked our room for my cousins wedding months before I worked directly with an agent to understand the sleeping arrangements

It was booked is a queen suite so we could be in the building with the other wedding guests but would have 2 queen beds and a couch bed When we arrived they said our room wasn’t ready less than an hour before the wedding and they down graded us because they over sold the wedding rate After being a Marriott rewards member since the program first started I was disgusted and very irate I asked for the on-site manager When they reviewed my book and saw how many months out I booked they immediately put me back into the room I had booked and it was amazingly it was ready The room was lovely but the service was terrible They helped me and screwed the people who checked in right before me, also wedding quests and the family after us too Later that night a family came down for bedding for their pull out couch and the hotel gave them 1 sheet, 1 blanket and one pillow and told them that was the last pillow they hadAll I can say is that the hotel was clean and quiet and attached to the venue so that was worth it I can tell you I would only recommend this hotel if you had to attend an event at the Springfield Country club Definitely not a relaxing vacation spot

Jerry grizzly

This place is huge Very clean very neat and very organized The entrance has a super big axcent wall soon as u enter with a great appealing view

All the staff was so polite and very generous The lighting was well lit everywhere chandeliers where spectacular everywhere I looked The services were all perfect the parking was abundant The food served was delicious I mean everything went perfectly well for me and my wife no complaints at all 5 stars to the venue the building the staff the food and the whole experience here

Ravi Bhave

We were at the hotel for a wedding It was a festive occasion for us and we were looking forward to a great stay at Marriott hotel But there were many surprises in the wings

1) The rooms do not have lockers to store your valuables They have bank-type lockers at the check-in counter which are very inconvenient when you have to carry your valuables, including jewelry from your room to the front desk Also very risky for losing some of the stuff2) When I called in to deliver a pillow to my room, the front desk clerk refused as he was alone on duty and was not allowed to leave the desk So if you need anything after 10PM, you have to go down to front desk3) They did not have foam pillows The front desk people did not even know what foam pillow looks/feels like The bed was very soft The room was small with not much light in the room The switches are located at inconvenient places There is no microwave in the room You can use the microwave located near front desk But just like locker situation, this is inconvenient as well4) My Marriott App mentioned that I had free breakfast But the front desk said that it is wrong and they will contact Marriott to update their system I did not push for getting free breakfast after see the other issues I mentioned above5) At times there were long lines to front desk since they only had 1 or 2 clerks working there6) There was still construction going on in the hotel, but we did not hear lot of noiseNow the good part1) The staff was friendly and tried to help as much as they could2) It is located on a very nice golf course So all the golf lovers this is the place to stay if you are in Springfield, PAWe had pleasant time due to all the festivities, but the stay could have been much better

I love Live! casino, very nice property and conveniently located next to the stadiumsThey definitely have the best player rewards program that I have seen at any casino, especially for poker playersEver since poker has returned post pandemic this has been the best place to play daily poker tournaments and get into cash games

They have stakes for all bankrollsHope to see this poker room continue to grow in the future

Craig Rawling

One of my favorite casinos The staff is friendly, hosts are cool and helpful, clean and food is greatJust updateHigh limit table host Eric, Robin and all the host staff are top notch

Environmental services along with slot floor host are always around Caring and willing to help you The hotel is maintained and nicely designed I would stay even if I wasn’t into going to casino since it’s very quietly sectioned away from casino The events and shows are very unique and welcoming to sports fans I will be playing poker and slots exclusively here since the staff and facilities are second to none within 140 miles from philly

Jeff

Perfect location (next to the stadiums) Walked over after a baseball game and got in easily Spent some time in the sports betting area which had ample space and comfortable seats

Spent some time at the table games The cheapest blackjack I found was $15/hand with a 6-8 deck setup They did have an auto shuffler game for $5 per hand, but I never win with those

Nice hotel with affordable rates and great service The pool is somewhat of a nice perk in the city The lobby has a nice steakhouse and very lively bar

However, the bathrooms appear dated The valet folks are nice but take forever to get your car They don’t even let you call down for your car—so be ready to wait 45-60 min The only reason we would stay here again is because of the great hotel staff!

Brooke Morgan

Didn’t get to enjoy the pool since it was closed for the season (stayed in October), that would’ve made my visit! The room was nice, we had a corner, so we had a little view down the road instead of just an airshaft Bustling hotel, seemed like a lot of folks were visiting to enjoy a sporting event, but I was present for a wedding Like others have said, the valet was indeed very slow

I’m glad I didn’t need my vehicle except for at checkout Lots of the amenities had been suspended due to COVID, so I’m not sure I really got the full hotel experienceand I could’ve done with a larger bathroom for sure It got really humid in the room after showering All in all, I think I enjoyed it mostly because I had a wonderful companion and was there to celebrate something special The post-wedding brunch catered by the hotel was good I was given gluten free pancakes by special request!

Max Schuelke

Room service was lack luster The shower temperature wasn’t consistent, even if you didn’t touch the knob it could do from warm to scolding hot in just a few seconds Furthermore the pool had so much chlorine I almost threw up when I inhaled too much

The bed was fine but the pillow were to firm and my neck was so soreIt was in a good location, and the front desk person was incredibly nice and accommodatingUnder normal pricing this would be a 3/5 but the price is way to high for the less than adequate convenience and comfort Would not recommend compared too other hotels

Very cozy stylish hotel The entire hotel was very clean Room was very spacious, bathroom was spotless and very spacious as well

Plenty towels available and if you need more just ring the front desk, they were very helpful Everyone was very pleasant and welcoming Room 707 has amazing view Bed was too comfortable 😉The restaurant and bar was very busy on Friday night and the bartender was very quick and made drinks on point Food was tasty and the couple hours there was very niceOver all it was a great experience and we want to thank everyone for great hospitality

Jessica Shin

The Notary is a wonderful boutique hotel nestled in downtown Philly with a memorable history The lobby area is welcoming and eclectic with the stack of book spines that forms a painting There’s even an old fashioned stamp near the tourist brochures and maps

The reception is welcoming and efficient in getting us to our room, which was pretty roomy and clean There isn’t anything lacking in the room and the bathroom, and we loved the comfy down pillows that nestled us into dream land The downstairs bar is great for late night drinks and we loved how close it was to Reading Terminal Market The hotel is across the street from City Hall and location is safe and convenient

Dinesh Penugonda

Great well appointed/clean rooms, great location & easily walkable Staff inside the hotel and the restaurant are really friendly, expeditious and overall provide great service Unfortunately, the valet manager does not exemplify these same attributes

As the first and last touchpoint for the guest, I hope they are able to improve this I had to help two cars reverse out into busy rush hour traffic, as he neglected to create an exit pathway for us to leave, even after we specifically asked for help Park elsewhere, not worth your your money, time and stress

Excellent experience at the LoganLocation – very close to the main attractions and directly in the middle of attractions Centrally located, so everything is within walking distance or a short cab ride away

Cleanliness – very clean; spot checked the bed and bathroom and it was spotless No finger marks on any of the glass and the amenities were all unusedService – very superior Acknowledged at the front desk by staff, recognized for my status, and they helped guide me to my room (thanks Cheryl!)Facilities – clean, spacious, and excellent for weddings Great fitness spaceOverall, very satisfied with this hotel It’s clean, the service is top notch, and the value is there Would stay here again for business or leisure

Staff was friendly Parking expensive, but that’s all over Pool got real crowded with no towel replacement and water collecting on entire deck area

Gym was clean and very adequate Beautiful inside decorations Easy to navigate Great location, a lot in walking distance Room rates seemed reasonable Double beds make it Tight

Obinna Onyenedum

This is a wonderful hotel for every single type of trip I came here with my wife two years ago for Valentine’s Day and we had a wonderful time It was conveniently located with plenty of parking for drivers, a rooftop bar, and within walking distance from food, drinks, and sites

Fast forward two years and happenstance visit to Philly and google reminded me that we had stayed here beforeso we went with it again! This time, the Logan staff was the talking point, the evening manager was extremely respectful and accommodating We had reserved our room via a 3rd party vendor and unfortunately that room had already been booked The manager made the switch without a moment’s hesitation and got us a new room with a view The staff were quick with all our front office calls and even were able to store some food for us that needed to be in a freezer over night Want to thank the General Manager for adding the finishing touch the next morning when we checked out by offering us additional recommendations of places do go during our last hours in the cityIf you are in Philly you would be wise to book your stay here and put your mind at ease All around great experience at a really good price!

The rooms are average and could use a little TLC However, the location is amazing and central to all the great touristy sites of Philly Even better than the location, is the service

Outstanding and much better than higher rated hotels I’ve stayed We came in extremely early from a red flight; they found us a room We needed to check out late because of late flight; they allowed us to stay late Excellent service without making it seem like a big deal

Adam Schechner

Pros:-Location can’t be beat A few minutes from Reading Terminal, across the street from city hall-Kitchen in the rooms

-Breakfast buffet is included and more than adequate-Mattress is nice and firm-Staff is very polite and responsiveCons:-Valet is expensive (though we knew this), but when they say it takes 30-45 minutes to get your car, they mean it-Lobby has apparently been under construction for months-Rooms are very dated and need some major renovation-Water in the sink did not get very hot-No safe in the room-AC struggles to keep the room cool, even when it’s in the 50’s outside-Center City noise Not at all the hotel’s fault, but something to consider when choosing a hotelOverall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again, but there are definitely some improvements that should be made

Why Doihavetodothis

This was a perfect location for the convention center Right near reading terminal market for food Walk a couple blocks and you’re at a park, or a mall, or surrounded by food

Hot buffet breakfast, only downside is it’s the same thing every morningStaff was amazing Especially Mark at the front desk He was incredibly helpful each time we saw him Breakfast room crew always friendly and refreshing the hot foodsWater pressure in room was a low in the sinks and I wouldn’t recommend driving Philly water, we bought gallon jugs from the 711 around the corner

Not impressed

first of all, I arrived after midnight, alone, and was stranded outside closed hotel doors for a good 5 minutes Not really a fun thing for a lone female in Philadelphia The hotel staff was claiming that they did not hear me ring the bell all that time It would be one thing if they apologized for the wait, but no, I should’ve called the hotel and pressed zero (which I did and was waiting on hold, so that didn’t help) However, the next day Erika was very nice and kind and accommodates a room change The hotel itself is in rough shape (maintenance and upkeep), there was also an odd high pitch winning noise every single morning for about 15 minutes Not sure if this was the issue with the center AC turning on or what The first room I was in had the loudest fridge in the world, to the point that I had to close the bedroom door to try to keep the noise down, and the kitchen light had no light switche at all The second room was a bit better, but still rough Housekeeping was totally inconsistent Some days they showed up and just got the trash, other days they made the beds, and the last two days they didn’t show up at all Not even to replenish supplies Breakfast was mediocre They ran out of to go cups at some point in time, so you couldn’t even leave with your coffee The pool was lovely, but hot tub was closed If you have other options Go there

I had a great experience with this location of the Homewood Suites by Hilton and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Philadelphia metropolitan area

Very helpful front desk and check in process Rooms were very clean and stylish Amazing water pressure in the shower and they also provide conditioner, shampoo, and body wash

There’s a cute Mexican restaurant and a cute rooftop bar to check as well I 100% recommend grabbing a coffee in the AM The coffee shop inside is so cute and the service is amazing! Lastly the coffee almost has this creaminess too it I can’t explain and I only had an American iced Definitely would stay again when in Philly!

Super location, great rates, excellent service Very comfortable bed, fun window seating (fun, not comfortable) w/nice city view, good bathroom Clean

Very thin walls and laminate floors but courteous neighbors overall Originally a “Pod” hotel but better as a Hilton In-house lobby cafe is interesting and decent enough that I would visit it on it’s own merits + it offers relatively generous Hilton elite breakfast benefit

Catherine

I booked for a long weekend in December I have no complaints The place was clean, the staff was incredibly nice and accommodating

Sure, the room was small, but I knew what I was booking when I looked the place up I only needed a bed and bathroom during my stay There was of course a TV as well as under the bed storage, a safe, and two drawers The bathroom was regular sized, had a very nice shower and there was a hair dryer as well This hotel is gorgeous and I enjoyed having a cafe inside the hotel I did not have any complaints during my stay Just make sure you do some research before booking any hotel, there’s no reason for people to be disappointed in what they didn’t get when none of it was advertised in the first place

It was what I expected it to be, nothing more, nothing less The rooms were clean and well-equipped, but they weren’t made up (apparently they don’t do this unless you specifically request it) I used the fitness centre and really liked it

It was also great to be able to use the laundrySome of the staff at the front desk seemed really unhappy to be there

Joydeep Paul

Clean hotel and well maintained rooms even though it’s shows it’s age Right at the heart of center city it’s a great plus Parking is expensive if using the valet

There is a $15 parking spot just the next block The staff was mot what I would expect from a star hotel Anyone who does not show they are enjoying their work is a big negative in the service industry Overall it was a comfortable stay

Ian Melvin

Nice facility! Friendly housekeeping staff and hotel itself is well kept There were a bunch of people smoking on our floor but we know that the hotel has no control over what guests do inside their rooms unless reported Walking distance to so many restaurants and attractions

Warning, walk outside in the evening at your own risk Pleanty of people will stop you to try and ask for money but isn’t that in all big cities though?

My stay was courtesy of CHOP, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, due to some much needed repairs to my house to make my home asthma safe for my sons The front desk staff was kind and courteous The rooms were a very nice size and very comfortable

I wish it had a bathtub, but it was still a comfortable room The room was also equipped with a two burner cook top, a full size fridge, a microwave, and a dishwasher One of my burners didn’t work, but it was okay The breakfast buffet was tasty It even had a vegetarian meat option There was also a nightly Manager’s Reception One night we were offered pizza and a salad with a sweet treat and a beverage The next night they gave everyone a chicken or beef cheesesteak with potato salad and a beverage I had a great time playing with my boys in the heated pool Overall, I had a very pleasant experience I gave 4 stars because one staff member seemed to display a little more kindness and courtesy to some of the guests than to others In spite of that, I would definitely stay here again I’m actually thinking of booking a room for my annual birthday getaway

My daughter was injured because the property failed to install the deck drains and secure the lids properly The drain lid clearly stated that they must always secure the lid with screws provided After my daughter was injured the General Manager only made excuses as to why they did not secure the lids

Unfortunately the Virginia Graeme Baker Pool & Spa Safety Act (P&SS Act) is pretty clear in the matter, which this property fails to comply with I was told someone from their insurance company would reach out this past week Zero contact from the property or their insurance Time to start moving up the chain and alerting everyone to avoid this property as who knows who else will get hurt due to this property’s lack of concern for guest safety

Hotel was decorated in a library decor Front desk staff was friendly Needed a code to get on elevator

Down side was NO fridge, microwave or coffee maker in room Also, NO vending machines or ice makersIf ice was needed you need to go to the restaurant when it was open King room was comfortable Loved the glass walk in shower

Rhi Alyxander

-no fridge (except a beat up one we found in the hallway the cleaning staff let us take in our room

yes, I’m 100% serious)-Mac couldn’t connect to wifi until I took it out of my room down to the lobby It was clear that management is aware of this problem, staff are frazzled from having to deal with it, and there is no plan to fix it We were told that it is Apple’s fault, not theirs Like other hotels haven’t figured out how to accommodate Macs-checked us into the wrong room-no free breakfast-free morning coffee is always empty with no one around to refillYes it’s clean, and the poor management gives the staff many opportunities to be friendly How is that adding up to an average rating of 46? I am baffled
