Excellent room, lovely building, great location Great hot shower Restaurant was fabulous and incredibly gourmet at dinnertime

At breakfast they make you omelets! What more could you ask! Writing this while on a 10-day Lewis and Clark bus tour of Montana/Idaho/Oregon and this was the best hotel so far Only reason I’m not giving a 5 is the bed was a bit saggy but this is very typical in COVID times as the hotels don’t have the cash to refresh the mattresses

What I liked; It had lovely staff, clean rooms pool, free parking, downtown so there are a lot of places to eat around Good sized rooms and bathrooms The room I had included a lovely view with big windows

Flexible with pets (including fee)What I did not like; The 1 night was fairly expensive and did not include breakfast, water, etc They charge a lot to stay and then also Nickel and Dime you Left a bad taste in my mouth to be honest The hallways constantly played music which was odd and I didn’t like it

Karl Hansen (a2brute)

The hotel was about average, and the rooms were a bit larger than normal, which is nice What a cool showerhead! The people servicing the hotel are the reason I would return It borders on a walking mall with lots of destination shops

Their parking lot is narrow and small, and freakishly difficult to navigate, with exit lanes that face the wrong direction; be prepared to three-point turn in traffic In a perfect world they would extend a parking garage south for their patron’s use The continental breakfast, similar to what you get in other hotels for free, is charged to your room (mine was $14 per person)

This Comfort Inn is one of the best that I have visitedIt is clean, the staff is helpful and friendly, and they really do offer “hot breakfast” and not just pre-packaged breakfast bars like so many other placesIt is quiet and not much outside noise

The King Suites are very spacious and comfortableThe pools are cleanAlthough it is not close in to the city, it is in a developing area very close to shopping, restaurants and CostcoI will stay here again when I go to Helena

Firelord Sifu

I travel to this location often for work and the staff are always super friendly and helpful Rooms are nice, spacious, and clean Bed is comfortable

Conveniently located next to a gas station and super market They practically share a parking lot together Great location for in town adventures as well Third floor window views are great

Robert Scruggs

The rooms themselves are very comfortable and well-maintained, and the complimentary breakfast is quite enjoyable The staff I interacted with were welcoming, friendly and professional The location was a little out of the way for what I was there to do (I was on a business trip), but Helena is small enough that such a thing is a very minor issue

The hotel is world’s above what a normal Best Western is in my experience Beautiful clean rooms, nice renovation, wonderful staffI am thoroughly enjoying my stay here with 2 quick caveats

The mattress on one of the beds had a hole or valley to sink into and the breakfast could use a little help, very limited selection and the scrambled eggs are a hard pass If you can look past those two things, it’s a great place to stay with great amenities

Gordon Morning

This motel was one of above-average places of stay Staff was extremely friendly and very helpful, loved the services they provided during my time here The rooms were super clean, very homey with a very relaxed atmosphere

Their breakfast is top-notch Only downside was the parking, I had a motor- coach bus so it wasn’t easy to get in and out I had to park my bus two blocks away It would be so perfect if it wasn’t for the big vehicle I was driving

Mick13

We spent three nights here back in June Very clean and comfortable rooms, nice and very helpful staff What really stood out to us was during our stay they had a power outage and the front desk staff were inundated with some very unhappy patrons and managed the situation perfectly, maintaining their professionalism

They offered us a discount for the night we were there and ended up comping the nightThey really managed an explosive situation very well We’ll definitely be staying the next time we travel through Helena

We paid $21900 for a room that was worth $20 a night After driving two hours with our infant daughter we arrived at 10am to check in

We were told we needed to come back at 3pm to check in because “we don’t have no rooms” We gave them the benefit of doubt and came back at 3pm My husband was told to come back at 5 After he came back and informed me I went inside and was able to check in to our room immediately by another front desk person In addition to the inconsistency of the hotel staff, they had their lawn service crews mowing and leaf blowing outside the bottom floor rooms at 9pm which repeatedly woke our daughter up The front desk was loud all night and when we came out the next morning the trash cans out front were overflowing with White Claws We stayed one night here and left for another hotel the next morning I do not recommend this hotel to ANYONE It was overpriced, loud, not family friendly The fact that we paid $219 for this place was unreal Save your money, time, and frustration Holiday Inn Express is better

Jill Nicholl

Stayed one night while traveling cross country Affordable and good location Front desk staff was dirty and busy on their cell phone when I arrived

Hallways and elevator had a bad smell Very seedy clientele I felt uncomfortable and unsafe while out walking my dog Lots of hotel noise Other guests were outside our window smoking all night Car alarms went off all night Did not get a good nights sleep here Will not be back If you have other options, take them

Tyler Webb

Night staff greeted me with a longing “sup”When I walked in there was a woman asking for a third room Not sure what happened to her first room but her second room was apparently still dirty

The room was big but the mattresses were so old there was a visible dent The thermostat was broken and the room was so hot it was hard to sleep Definitely not comfortableMorning staff was friendlyNobody could sleep so we left early before breakfast was even served

I work with a statewide nonprofit and we were very impressed with how Elise and fellow staff were able to accommodate a large group with such short notice! They were the 5th hotel that I called in Helena and the only one to call me back in a timely manner! Hotel accommodations were spacious, clean and welcoming We appreciated the coordination of the Yellowstone Conference too I would recommend booking here for business trips and personal trips

Thanks again @Home2Suites by Hilton Helena

The hotel was generally nice Good layout, gym, pool, large rooms, no complaints on that front I did have an issue with the cleanliness of the rooms

My sheets had lots of hair and looked yellow When I asked for some fresh sheets to put on they changed my room which I thought was great but I was wrong Avoid room 330 There is a terrible smell in that room The bed is very worn out and grossly yellow I know this because the sheets were dirty in that room as well, hair and bed crumbs, so I took them off to shake them out and saw the state of the bed, did I mention it was yellow Needless to say, I did not sleep well at all and that in my mind is the main function of a hotel, to provide a safe, clean room to rest Room service came mid week to “clean” and all they did was make the bed and take out the garbage I didn’t get clean sheets, the floor was not vacuumed, used towel weren’t taken, counter tops not cleaned, you get the jestThe only other thing I’d have to say is that the breakfast was lacking healthy options and the coffee wasn’t good at all I ate plain porridge for the week I was there, maybe some raisins or something to spruce it up a little

Leah

First, know that we had requested ground floor adjoining or side by side rooms to minimize impact to other guests because we do have a lot of kids And although the staff member who had called to confirm our reservation said it would be no problem, neither of the requests were accomodated on check in Our 2 rooms were separated by 2 other rooms and on an upper floor

The night staff proceeded to target and harass us all night because of a (regrettably) noisy arrival at 10pmThe night staff woke us up multiple times with calls to and visits to our room after midnight I repeatedly sat outside of my children’s room to monitor the noise, which was no more than the TVs I could hear up and down the hall At 2AM, exasperated with the accusations, I opened their door to show the night manager that the room was dark and everyone was in bed He replied that “10 minutes ago it was really loud when I walked by” He proceeded to call the police! After our late night interactions with staff and police (who spoke to us outside of the supposed noisy room and told us we would not be evicted after all this) I was awakened at 6:30am by our neighbor’s loud TV Having gotten roughly 3 hours of sleep and being forced to be on high alert all night long in case my children’s voices rose above a whisper – I am fairly irritable I cannot find any noise policy for this hotel after being threatened that I may be charged for the complaining guest’s room if they are compensated After paying for 2 rooms and being harrassed by the staff to the point where we will never ever stay at this hotel again, I’m horrified that I could also be charged for an additional room when there was never a reason for the continued complaints

We arrived at 11:30 pm and were greeted with a cranky, unwelcoming attendant Of course, it was late so I understand being tired & not the most friendly near midnight At approximately, 3 am our A/C broke

We called the front desk and were instructed how to turn on and off the unit It did not work & we asked for a fan There were no fans After really poor sleep, we went down for the hotel breakfast However, the elevator did not work While not a problem for me, my husband has a knee surgery in the near future At the point of finding the stairs, we noticed 1/2 the floor was without electricity And upon reaching the hotel lobby, 1/2 the hotel was without electricity:/ We asked about a service elevator for my husband, but were told there is none The hotel desk just ignored addressing any of the problems with guests Instead of acknowledging the setbacks & offering even minor reimbursements, they just let uncomfortable silence rein free and guests leave There are many teaching moments here, I think, for staff But, we are really disappointed in Marriott

Heather Wood

When we checked in the staff member said we’re all awesome just ask for anything you need I thought that’s a big statement, but the staff lived up to it They were always eager to help and did so with kind words and a smile

The hotel was clean and Conyers breakfast was great They also have us a list of local non chain restuarant which was wonderful The only reason I have them for instead of five starts is the bed made my back hurt by the end of the week, but that’s personal pretend

Probably a 25 star motel, but it was reasonably priced for the location Beds were fairly uncomfortable for my old back

The kids didn’t seem to have a problem with them Our room was clean and organized Breakfast was great The staff was excellent – very attentive and helpful They reminded me more of what you would encounter in a luxury motel Would stay again

Had a medical appointment w the VA, and they were accommodating to put me up in the BaymontVery friendly and prompt front desk serviceNice, clean and comfortable room

No unusual smells Beds were excellent! Towels were very clean and freshBecause of my medical procedure, could not have the breakfast that was served However, looked and smelled wonderful! We were happy with the accommodations The breakfast was above average The rooms were clean and nice

The hot tub was closed but the pool was open My only real complaint is the need in this industry to be dishonest in trying to sell rooms to customers We called ahead and were told they “literally only had one room left” but when we got there the person at the desk informed me they “were not close to full” I would have just appreciated transparency and honesty from the hotel but I know they’re not the only place that follows this practice
