I want to give more stars as my sleep was so good but just the cleanliness wasn’t top notch My issue is I’ve been a housekeeper & now am a front desk at our hotel so I see the stuff now The blanket had rips, stains, & cigarette burns

There was other people “hairs” in the hot tub The towels were sloppily folded You can tell they don’t fully scrub the shower as the shower head & faucet had tons of scum built up on it, gross to touch The elevator was not cleaned or wiped down The entry way & rug when you walk in was super dirty Definitely not fully as advertised Front desk person was nice but very robotic like… but they were kind enough to move us rooms when they could of just given us a remote for the tv in the original room I know a lot of hotels are short staffed but doesn’t take much to up the appearance Overall, the stay was fairly nice & we slept very good!

Steve Supers

Hotel was quiet but definitely could use an update, you can tell it’s a repurposed property from the 80s The shower my room had was dim and gave off jail vibes, but it obviously was never built with a tub, just a stand-up, so what are you gonna do? The staff was all very friendly and the gentleman working breakfast was keeping up singlehandedly, so props to him Room was clean enough to be comfortable but could use some detailed attention such as dust under appliances and on visible but less-touched surfaces, food residue from someone’s hands on microwave and tv remote, toilet seat could have been wiped a little better, glitter from an obvious 4th of July party scattered about, loose tobacco on office chair, and possible food substances splattered on the curtains

A lot of that can be easily overlooked when working on a schedule and only having so many people on staff to get rooms in order for the next guest, so I can’t fault them too much, I still got a good night’s sleep Especially for the price, I’d stay here again if I had to travel to the area

First issue was in making reservationsI called hotel to make the reservation the man that answered told me I already made reservation online I’m old I did not make any reservation online nor do I ever

So I said cancel whatever you are seeing I’m calling to make my reservation right now, I have no idea what you are looking at I said this isn’t making any sense as I kept telling and asking the man if I was talking to the hotel and he would say yes or ignore then kept telling me it was non refundable I asked why he said because you booked online This continued to go on until I was too confused and frustrated and thought someone else can fix this NOTSecond IssueWhen they wouldn’t cancel we stayed for the reservation Upon arrival they issued us a room which wasn’t even cleanThird IssueBreakfast is served from 7:00 – 9:00 We went down for breakfast at 8:45 or so and it was all cleaned up an no food was outFourth IssueWhile waiting for clerk to ask about Breakfast another guest asked if I had any issues with my room I told him what happened to us He said he was given a room where the air conditioning didn’t work When he complained he was told to open the window He said but I paid for a room with air conditioning again he was told to open the windowSo, overall they do not deserve even 1 star DO NOT TRUST THEM EITHER They could be the ones who screwed up my reservation But either way neither the Hotel or Choice did anything about my initial Issue Very poor customer serviceI will never stay with them or any other Choice Hotel

For a quick place to sleep it’s ok The room smelled musty and the room was very humid There are fast food places near by, but by the time we went the restaurant was closed and had to use the drive through

In a pinch I’d stay again The check in was pretty good, had to ring a bell to get someone to the desk They have an automatic pancake machine that worked very well, the grandson enjoyed making and eating them

bonnie

There going to start some renovations Looks to be for the bathrooms¿¿ this is our second time staying here and I haven’t had any problems They started serving hot breakfast

I didn’t use it, so u don’t know what they serve The pool is open I haven’t had any problem with any worker like some reviews say so all in all I would be using quality inn on my next visit

The room was nice, but no one cleans them during your stay, even when you ask them to We went to a family reunion 2 of the days we stayed, and while we were gone we requested that the floors be vacuumed and mopped, fresh towels be brought in and used ones be taken out, and garbage be removed Everything else was cleaned up by me so there wasn’t much that needed to be done

My Dad even left tips on the dresser addressed to the custodians, but they were never touched The stay wasn’t bad, they just need to do better on housekeeping The kids had a blast at the pool and they had pepperoni pizza rolls in the freezer which is the only thing my autistic son eats on most days, so that was a blessing for me Also, there were a lot of options for breakfast, but the best was the bacon on Monday The staff was very nice Overall, the only issue we had was the housekeeping

Darrell Horton

Housekeeping is horrible here Toilet didn’t work in the first room Moved us to a room full of pet hair and dog food on the floor

Third room which we stayed in had mens hair all over the sink and toilet Breakfast was not good either Pancake machine is broken Gravy was ice cold Wished I would have found a different Holiday Inn Express down the road Front desk was nice but hotel needs better upkeep It’s supposed to be fairly new I couldn’t tell by the way everything is running

Ben Minch

The stay itself was fine, its a hotel like most others, clean, a small thing off here or there Did not use their breakfast facilities during this stay The staff was kind and understanding

The guests on 4/9 however were horrible I do not blame the hotel staff as they cannot control who stays there, but the adults who let their unsupervised kids run wild in the halls at 1:30 and again at 5:30 in the morning should be embarrassed and honestly, bannedI felt bad for the staff when we walked out in the morning to find a hall full of crushed and discarded food and wrappers coating the carpets Then greasy hand prints on every surface and what I could only describe as melted marshmallow on the inside of the elevator doorsPeople, show each other some respect

My check in experience was great My room was neat and tidy and I need and other than the contents of one trash can it was also clean I’m not exactly sure how they did miss the Trash in the trash can cause it was the very 1st thing that I seen when I walked into the room

But everything else was clean It was also quiet and I was able to rest comfortably I will definitely stay at this hotel the next time I’m in the area

Suites/Rooms are large and clean, all liquid soaps/conditioners were empty, and clothing iron had debris burnt on it and it destroyed my new dress

That said, we planned our vacation and this hotel specially because other family has stayed here and loved the pool & outdoor amenities The pool was painted and apparently the paint didn’t dry in time, so has been unavailable our entire vacation This was a key source of entertainment for my family, so I could spend time with local family The entire trip has been deeply impacted by this oversight We were not notified, as they claim an email was sent (it was not) I’m so disappointed and am now spending the trip attempting to find things for 2 teenagers to do in the July heat, so they enjoy their vacation, too I can not imagine what manager would think it was wise to paint the pool at the height of the summer vacation season, in the July heat, immediately before the holiday weekend AND not consider Wisconsin humidity could impact the drying time! We’re so upset No mention of the pool situation at check in either Really? Ethical practices? We spoke to the front desk, and were told we would have to wait until the manager returned on the 5th from his vacation I hope he’s enjoying a refreshing swim somewhere on his vacation

shannon balts

What a nice comfortable hotel! The people seemed friendly We were well taken care of I had one little issue

I’m not sure if it was due to the booking company or the hotel I chose a room with a bathtub, so I could soak after a long day on the road I even stopped to pick up some nice bath salts When I arrived I found a beautiful new shower It was lovely so I didn’t complain I would have been happier with my tub though

Extremely clean, family friendly campground with a theme park feel! There were so many fun activities for the whole family to enjoy The staff were nice and helpful This is our new favorite place to camp

It’s also very accessible with cabins for rent that have wheelchair ramps There were no lifts at the pools but there’s upgrades happening and I’m hoping that is something they eventually add The first bathroom stall is the wheelchair accessible one in the main bathroom which was so nice to see! We love, love, LOVE this place!!! Also, the dog parks were a huge plus!

After reserving a rustic cabin #3 “Boo Boo Bear” for two back to back business visits, for four nights each, I wouldn’t stay here again and I certainly wouldn’t bring my familyShowers in men’s “comfort zone” simply didn’t work; water trickled and didn’t actually get hot Office seemed to be open very short hours in the weekdays making it hard to communicate

So nothing was done about showers until the last day I was thereWood was to be delivered before I arrived to my cabin each Sunday before I arrived, and never did receive it, even after repeated calls and emails Lack of preparation led to staff literally questioning my integrity at check-in regarding amenities quoted for my length of staysHeater/AC unit had mystery plug short that caused the unit to turn off randomly Woke quite cold more than once due to the issue Also made the bedroom lights flicker Spooky and probably a fire hazardPoor experience overall I should have stayed, well, anywhere else Strict “no refund on paid reservation” policy meant I was stuck here or out the costs I prepaid I understand why the policy is in place, people would not stay long after arriving! Certainly ruined what could have been an otherwise joyful visit to the area for work training

Lesley Beckman

This was our second visit to a Jellystone and we were a little underwhelmed for the price Our cabins were nice and the swimming options were nice (pools and pond); our kids loved the inflatables The whole campground was very rundown though; I understand covid has been tough and I’m sure funding has been tight but it looks like this is years worth of decay

Maybe in just comparing/hoping based on our other Jellystone stay, but it was overpriced for the experience

I was able to get a room here after Holiday Inn gave away my reservation even though i had advised them of my late arrival I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and fresh everything was and how nice their guests seemed to be Staff was courteous and friendly

Coffee was good and fresh: clearly, they clean their machines well and frequently- to me, that is a sign of good management No luxuries, room was small and they charged me more that advertised price here but it was still a good price Loved their yogurt and waffle maker in breakfast room The entrance, hallways and room all had a fresh smell Only 2 issues were slow drain in tub and toilet had ring sediment Still, for the price and last minute booking, i was grateful and happy

Andrew A

Honestly, for the price and type of hotel this is, the stay here is pretty good Don’t expect a 5 star stay, but if you want a good bed and just a room to stay at for a few days, this is a really good hotel for thatThe rooms are extremely small (hence the time Microtel) so it might be a good stay for a solo or solo + 1

This hotel room has two floors but there are no elevators Keep this in mind when booking

Gary Nemec

When booking I asked for a firm bed because I have back issues The women I spoke with guaranteed I would have a room with a firm bed I called a week in advance to confirm the reservation and to confirm the firm mattress

I was told it was all set The bed is FAR from being firm after one night my back is killing me and I still have 6 more nights to go The rooms are extremely small photos on the website make them look more spacious Would not recommend staying at this hotel

This is definitely nicer than other Rodeway Inns! The customer service was exceptional and I was thrilled to find out breakfast would be provided from the restaurant next door! It wasn’t a very filling breakfast but it was delicious and much better than other hotel breakfasts As far as the rooms are concerned they’re really nothing special but at least they were clean

James Warren

Original room was absolutely filthy Someone apparently had just checked out of it Desk people are rude

The nightclub isn’t a nightclub It’s a dive bar, and not a good one Front desk wanted a credit card for ‘incidentals’ Said it was just in case something was damaged, etc LOL My bank says the $100 is pendinglike they’re trying to actually charge the amount We were there one sleepless night and anything done to that place would be an improvement Whoever did this place, the restaurant, the staff, and the bar were good must’ve just got out of jail

6th night in the last month in a hotel Traveling w my dog, which is great but can make finding a good hotel more difficult The Fairfield was really nice

Our room, hallways, breakfast room were very clean Very fresh Nice pet area out back Beds were comfy, good ventilation, great hot water! Breakfast included both hot and cold itemsThey have these pull down screens on the window that have a lovely scenic photo rather than the view of the parking lot They still let light in – I thought it was a nice touch as most mid price hotel rooms tend to be pretty starkI would definitely stay here again, with or without my dog Thanks Jan for helping me with my reservation

Karen Blevins

Had an amazing stay due to the staff here Tyler took my reservation over the phone and was extremely polite I came to visit my grandkids and just needed a nice place to stay

When I arrived tyler welcomed me by name, and immediately made me feel welcomed Tyler and Lillith made the check in process easy and welcoming Rooms nice and clean, breakfast good I will definitely be returning if I am in the area

Trendy Popular Demand

Apparently this is a hotel that teams like to stay at There has to be boundaries, and some respect for other guests who stay here for working purposes I shouldn’t have to wake up super early because the kids are loud and ridiculous

I should NOT have to stay up late because the kids are running through the hall ways and screaming completely disregarding everyone else that’s staying at this hotel FIX IT

I arrived late in the evening The young man came quickly to the desk, pulled my reservation and had me checked in quickly Very pleasant

The room was clean, comfortable and spacious I went right to sleep and was up for breakfastFood was fresh and/or we’ll packaged Nice selectionCheck out was quick and I was on the road

Who’s problem is it that the hotel is listed multiple places as pet friendly and they aren’t any longer? Apparently mine I was told I had to take my 8lb dog and that I could not stay, even though I had screenshots of my reservation on Priceline and the listing on Trip Advisor They list on Priceline, so they should honor it, even if it changed

I was treated terrible I’d be really careful choosing this place as it is probably not accurateThe clerk called the owner and he said “no” I get it, a hotel has the choice to turn away pets, but it should have been honored as long as it’s in the listing The clerk stated I was not the first one to have this issue 😳Anyway, the floor was filthy in the lobby, and it wasn’t a nice place at all, so not a total loss I stayed at the Town Suite a few miles away and it was fantastic
