We stayed 5 nights? and we have no complaints The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating The rooms were amazing

The breakfast was delicious (the bar with omelettes and Belgian waffles? yes, absolutely!) Even the parking attendants were nice The hotel is located close to all the places we wanted to visit Griffith Park is very close The sunsets are amazing!

We had the perfect stay Everywhere we walked was a photo op The bridge for the family wedding photo was on point

We were there for a wedding and it was 5 star stay Everyone went out of their way to see that we had anything we wanted The wedding location was beautiful It is historic and every detail is well appointed The reception was grand Great dinner, the desert table was second to none and the band was perfect They knew how to play while we ate then had the perfect song list for dancing NO rolling on the river or we are family cheesy tunes Sign of a great band Afterwards we had a beautiful spot to catch up before going to our room and sending up for a late night bite with room service Our room was classically beautiful a tad small but it is a really old hotel We’ll be back!

Shanta Marie

Stylish and refined in its lusciouness… well kept, well manicured with charming gardens, excellent service and services Spa was fab!And get this, the power went out in the area in the middle of my massage and they calmly and sweetly brought in candles to finish and comped me the massage And had backup power so we still had basics

Very nice experience that could have been uncomfortable otherwise

The room we stayed in was nice Normal Why 4/5 is because of the charges

Parking was 29 a night…I thought that was ridiculous but I haven’t stayed in a hotel in while Maybe it’s the norm now We went down to their restaurant during happy hour and food/drinks Our bill included our stuff and added an extra 15 buck for employee living wages and something else This did not include tip which they also wanted So, our bill for food/drinks was 73 then add in the extra cost for employee living+ comes to 89 This is without tip So, add in another 15% of 73 plus the 15 bucks comes to around 98 dollars I paid a lot for food before but the charges for this place is outrageous Definitely don’t recommend the restaurant but everything else was fine I would’ve given a 3 if it wasn’t for a shuttle taking us to universal

This hotel is super cute and the staff are remarkable! From early check in to ensuring my breakfast room service was on time

they delivered They have all the amenities and an adorable community feel this is welcoming to both families and adults The staff consistently seeks to do the absolute best for their guests and honestly seems thrilled to be of service My one neg would be that my room was highway side I closed the curtains and turned on the fan/AC and the white noise made everything fine but I am confident that if you took a room interior to the complex this wouldnt be an issue 1000% this team makes this one of the best stays I have had in a long time Also- super easy to get to Universal!

My wife and I stayed for the first part of our honeymoon Ideal location for day trips, most places are no more than a 30 minute Uber ride away The restaurant part of the hotel is incredibly stylish and the food was amazing

The pool area is stylish and features a movie screening every night with classics such as ‘Back to the Future’ and ‘The Princess Bride’ The staff were fantastic Friendly and helpful at every turn, and the grounds are clean and incredibly well maintained I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be staying there next time I’m in Los Angeles

I recently stayed at the Hotel Burbank for more than a week The staff truly made it feel like home, and I give them really high marks The room also was very good

It included a mini fridge, microwave, and good climate control system The neighborhood was wonderful with several excellent restaurants within close walking distance The only slight downsides were that there was limited drawer space and limited bathroom counter space The elevators also were also a little slow With that said, I would absolutely jump at the chance to stay there again The Hotel Burbank was a wonderful place to stay

Yvonne Leyva

The stay was clean and comfortable Good area Walking distance to restaurants and 15 minutes from Universal Studios

Customer Service was great Ethan checked is in and was very helpful Only thing was I wish the lounge would have been opened One night wanted to stay in and have a few drinks but the was closed Other than that it was a great stay

Brett R. Brown

This Hotel is very spacious The hallways are wide and the rooms are spacious and the lobby is big and comfortable The service was great

They helped me get a late check out The pool was nice and clean and it was a nice area to relax The location is perfect for downtown Burbank It is close to great places to eat and a movie theater and we were able to walk to a nice hike in the hills and it is really close to the Burbank airport You need to Uber to the airport but it is a quick trip I liked the decor in the lobby

The staff was very friendly and welcoming Timothy, the concierge, was very accommodating and knowledgeable of the building’s history The room was very clean and spacious

It offered a full kitchen with all the necessary pots, pans and utensils to cook meals, should you desire to do so I am 6’2″ so I was very pleased with the king sized bed The the bathroom was clean and offered a rain shower head, which not only uses less water than a conventional, it feels great Despite the building being renovated it was still very welcoming It is a great value for the asking rate I will be coming back to stay here again

Brandy McMahan

I had a fantastic stay at the Canterbury Suites Timothy, at the front desk, was such a great host He told me all about the colorful history of the hotel and the neighborhood around it

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Timothy; he was gracious, friendly, and really just made you feel like a friend It’s been a while since I have been to Hollywood so I was worried about not knowing exactly where the hotel was located in accordance to all the tourist stuff; and I could not have been happier It was literally smack dab in the middle of everything I was able to walk almost everywhere; and if it was a little longer than I felt like walking the metro rail was a few blocks away for easy travel The room I stayed in was huge It was clean and decorated with cute little details that made it feel like old Hollywood I will 100% be coming back and staying here again I also can’t wait to check out their Venice beach location!!!

Ross Sorenson

Overall I can say that I liked this place I get the impression that it used to be an apartment building and has been renovated into a hotel, but in an interesting way The rooms are quite spacious, with floor plans that are unconventional

The beds are nice, large, comfy with more fluffy pillows than you would ever need The furniture is also nice and new Bathroom is stocked with shower and bath products that you want to take home with you Plenty of hand towels, wash clothes and bath towels are already provided when you check in Every room has a kitchen, mine had a full kitchen, not a kitchenette, a full freaking kitchen which I did not useThe stairway and halls leading to the rooms is dark and possibly still the original wood Soundproofing hasn’t been a part of the renovation, but it is forgivableThe rooms are seriously nice When you walk from the dark hallway into the room you’ve rented it is like you have passed through to another dimension There is an obvious investment of thought and design that has been put into the look and feel of the roomsThere is a gate code which you can use to gain access to the common areas so if you have guests you can give them the code and your room number and they can find their way to your roomThis place is unique and pretty awesome I will visit again

Very comfortable rooms with excellent service overall The only reason why I did not give 5 stars is because when we checked in the room had not been cleaned properly There was spilled rice on the carpet and a light bulb missing in a lamp

This was promptly fixed but it makes one wonder about attention to detail as this is not a cheap hotel For the rest of our stay the housekeeping was excellent We found the valet service quite fast and enjoyed the restaurant for breakfast

Aron Hughes

If you are visiting the LA area and are looking for a safe and comfortable stay than this is a solid optionYou are going to get the amenities that you need (unless you need dry cleaning on Memorial Day weekend)The rooms were standard with a mostly clean facilities

The bed and pillows were not the most comfortableStaying here requires you to Valet park your car every time which can get annoying if you are in and out like we wereThe restaurant serves basics for high prices and it would be beneficial to go out for breakfast or dinnerAlthough they state the coffee cart is open at 6, we were unable to get coffee in the morning before heading to DisneylandMy suggestion would be stay here if you need a comfortable and affordable option

Lauree martin

This Hilton might be the worst Hilton you can stay at The hotel is loud, dirty, and has homeless people hanging out inside The staff is some of the rudest people I have ever experienced at any hotel

The rooms are old, dirty, and small; you can hear everything outside your room all night The breakfast that was once free now is not, the valet is expensive, and it takes about 45min to get your car I’ve had better experiences at a Motel 6 Save your time and money and stay anyplace but here

The hotel is clearly under new management/ownership which affected our stay along with the remodeling The staff is very green and unknowledgeable The phones don’t work

The rooms are smaller than other hotels in the area I’d recommend looking elsewhere for the price point Perhaps with time, they’ll tighten up their services, amenities, and staff training but I would not consider staying here again

Anthony Sotelo

This hotel is terrible While it has potential, it should not be open during remodeling The bar was not open, the halls smell like mildew and the overall amenities are not comparable to other hotels with similar price points

When booking it doesn’t mention that only 2 floors were available and that the rooms are very tiny We called and left a message to the manager and received no call back No room service unless you ask I highly recommend you stay elsewhere

Neilou Heidari

I reserved a room block at Hotel Constance for myself and guests for my wedding weekend The hotel rep reassured us that the hotel would reopen before our wedding day, however, a month before our event, told us that they would not reopen in time This left us scrambling to find a new hotel

Not only that, Hotel Constance charged us a deposit but failed to return it back to us – nobody is answering phones or emails I am calling on management/ ownership/whomever to return our deposit ASAP

The history is magnificent, the pool and pool scene is among the top three swimming pool scenes in LA, the location is as good as it gets for a visit to Hollywood but terribly busy and can be a bit loud—tho they did a great job of sound proof windows, far quieter than your average motel I love this place All that said, the basic rooms in the main building are pretty basic

But the cabana rooms and higher end suites are just lovely The lobby is a work of early Hollywood Moorish Mediterranean architectural art, grand and intimate at the same time And the bars mix solid cocktails, the restaurants are really good It is incredibly touristy All the Hollywood Blvd hotels are And it’s only “hip” if a “hip” industry event is being held Otherwise, tourist city Not the best for people watching, if you’re looking for stars or the Beautiful People But I love it A Hollywood treasure, and if you’ve never stayed here, you ought to

Brian Bonaparte

Generally classy and fun Can get overwhelmed at times making the beautiful lobby take on a bus station vibeWe love to have lunch by the pool

The staff are lovely and perfectly welcoming to non-hotels guests who want to eat and drink thereThere is an, ahem, stimulating, collection of art in the bar that tickled us We’ll never look at bacon the same way again! The rooms are nice, particularly for that part of Hollywood (wink, wink)

Jill Kazaniuk

When my friend comes to town, we always stay at The Roosevelt Excellent service all around! From Christian and his fabulous daily greetings To the bartenders Raul, Met, Luke and Nick behind the bar pouring happiness

The rooms are on point and there are plenty of things to do near by I have never had an unpleasant experience here, not once The staff go above and beyond to make sure your stay is welcoming Looking forward to returning, keep up the great work guys!

Anastasiia Vorobeva

Accidentally walked in with my friend today, did Cursed crypt Linear game, good for a couple of people, probably not fun for a group since there’s only one thing to do at a time Decorations of the whole place are ambient and neat, room really needs more stuff to interact with, everything is either fake or empty

Had to call for a clue almost each time, cause there’s not much logic behind the puzzles, and things are not connected at all Also so dark, barely can read/find things sometimes I’ve done around 10 games, usually with just two people and that’s the second one we failed This game said to be 40% success rate and easier one had 60% I think Others 20% Puzzles were interesting, but overall experience wasn’t fun This place is touristy and many people won’t be proficient escape room players, neither they come back again, so I don’t really understand the point of hard games, there’s not much satisfaction

EJay Ryder

The immersion is grand in the lobby and hallways, but I feel they slacked on the rooms The puzzles jump logic and it’s only difficult because you either get so badly bottle necked that you’re standing behind the only person that can work the puzzle for the next 15 minutes or you have the correct code and it’s just not working 3 different times we thought we had the wrong code for 3 different puzzles but it turned out we had them right, they’re just super sensitive and if not timed perfectly, they won’t work

The puzzles don’t fit the themes They’re just kind of thrown about which stinks These could be epic rooms if they really thought about the puzzles and the correlation Won’t be returning unfortunatelyEdit to owner:If you read your low reviews, you’ll see that they’re talking about the same things we are, so I’m honestly not the first You may want to talk to your staff about changes that could be made They informed us before stepping into Resurrection that there’s a puzzle that almost no one completes and there’s an option to skip it Good puzzles shouldn’t need to be skipped I’ll leave details out as I don’t want to ruin it for other players who may read thisThe pipe puzzle: It got to the point where I sat on the floor and waited for my friend to do it while the others stood around There was nothing for us to doThe lights/picture/button puzzle Super simple order But nothing was happening Finally the game master said we had the right order, we just need to hold it longer Chewed up our time for no reasonThe grand finale puzzle We had the order correct Checked it twice Finally hit the answer button Checked it again It was correct We ended up wiggling the wires and finally something happened

Daisy Miller

One of a kind experience, especially now that they opened the restaurant upstairsI love this place, they have the best escape rooms in LA, they pay attention to the details and their games actually work which is very refreshing after trying many escape rooms I just visited Room 13 over the weekend, their cocktails are honestly super good, we also tried the tirokroketes ( greek appetizer) , the tacos, the steak and the bolognese pasta

Service is very good, they are super welcoming and they also have a live singer at night You can literally spend 3-4 hours in this place without noticing Feels like a time travel Def coming back with more friends

Absolutely love this hotel! From the front desk girls to the waitresses, everyone is so kind and welcoming I’m from Vegas and the service industry is one of the best in the world, but Cara Hotel is right up thereCongrats on the remodel! Hope the best for this new hotel and restaurant

A few weeks ago my sister and I came down to LA from SF to spend the last 10 days with a terminally ill loved one at the Sunset Kaiser I searched for a clean hotel closest to the hospital so my sister and I could freshen up and get some rest between the hospital visits I selected Cara Hotel where we stayed for 9 nights

First of all, I want to thank all the hotel and valet staff for their excellent services and hospitality Everyone truly made us feel comfortable as possible during this very difficult time In the early mornings, Adi warmly greeted and directed me to my car when I left the hotel to the hospital (valet staff starts working at 7 am) Also, when I had an issue with the safe box in the room, Adi and the other staff addressed the issue right away Late at night when I return back from the hospital, Alex welcomed me with the sweetest greets and even on the sold-out Saturday night, she managed right away to book us a canceled room for us She gave me so much bright and positive energy during our most difficult times And Alex, you’re such an angel 😇 Danner at the valet, even though one of your staff members mixed up my key card with another guest caused so much trouble for me but your service was excellent every night when I return back to the hotel after an emotionally long hard day Lastly, Marlon the general manager, I want to say thank you for the valet credits and for letting us stay day by day without knowing the checkout date I heard you made that happen You have an awesome, professional, and friendly staff that makes your guests happy and satisfiedAs for the review of the hotel itself here are my thoughts This hotel is a rectangular-shaped structure with 2 floors Most of the rooms have a balcony upstairs and a courtyard downstairs There’s water in the middle with restaurant tables along the side So any room you stay in you can see and hear people eating and drinkingPros:The hotel is beautiful and chic (good for social media)Very clean room with a comfortable bed, luxurious sheets, and blanketsGood quality amenitiesGreat location for everythingProfessional and friendly staffA beautiful restaurant and bar on siteCons:The hotel is not ideal for people seeking relaxation and quiet Day, night, weekdays, and weekends there’s a crowd hanging out at the restaurant and bar with loud music$38 a day valet parking onlyUnfortunately during my visit, I didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant and bar due to the circumstances but I’m coming back in June with my husband to celebrate our 22nd anniversary I already made the reservation for the room and the restaurant This time, I want to fully enjoy the hotel Hopefully, the restaurant is good as the rest of the hotel I’ll post the follow-up restaurant and bar review after

SHI QI

First, it is really hard to find this place even with google map Sign is too small to identify Next, we spend such 30mins to park our car

There is no temporary parking for this hotel The only solution is $38 valet parking If you want to save this, you must find a road-side parking and please remember move your car at next day early morning to avoid ticket! Lack of Sound-proof equipment You can hear everything from outside of your room Meanwhile, people also can hear the sound we made from inside of the room Lastly, reception told us we got upgraded room when we checked in They told us we got balcony room instead of courtyard room But, we realized that still is a courtyard room when we enter the room It really make us confused By the way, the room is soooooooo small We barely can put our luggage down and open it That’s the first ever time happened when I was in US hotel! Japan’s hotel room even bigger than this MOTEL!

Incredibly friendly staff, from check in to housekeeping to the shuttle drivers – they were all exceptional Rooms were clean and everything we needed for our 3 night stay Location was perfect for what we wanted to do

It’s worth repeating that the customer service was some of the best we have encountered If you have the chance to eat at Olives Bistro (right next to the hotel) definitely give it a shot – you will not be disappointed The food was incredible Thank you for a great stay!

Nicole Edwards

Our family stayed here on a road trip along the Cali coast, we visited from Colorado We loved our two days and nights at Safari Inn Truly comfortable beds, clean rooms, tiny fridges available, good coffee supplied in the room, very fun pool, a small fitness room with weights and treadmill, laundry room, and free shuttle to and from Universal Studios

Staff was helpful and friendly It is walking distance from some good Thai food, Mexican food, and Starbucks Not too busy and loud of an area however! They add $200 to your initial charge to use at their restaurant but whatever you don’t use falls of at the end We never ate at the bistro, so no reports on how good that is

Kennedy Tartaglia

A trip to the Safari Inn was a great recommendation! The location is perfect, safe down from the studios in Burbank, and clean! As two young women in our 20s we felt that the Safari Inn was perfect! The staff is the kindest hotel staff I have ever had encounters with, and are readily available by call or at the desk The rooms are WAY bigger then expected and are clean! Floors, mirrors, shower, bed, dressers

you name it, it is CLEAN! They have rooms with a full kitchen, yes FULL kitchen The pool and deck area are also great extras to have fun at and enjoy a phone call or some breakfast The parking lot is a tight fit, but it is free to park At checkout they did NOT nickel-and-dime us with incidentals, very honest hotel Right around the corner is a walkable CVS for any missing items forgotten I would recommend this place 100 times!

The people are very nice and friendly On Tuesday there was a mad rush at the breakfast bar, and the GM of the hotel was found cleaning tables and chipping in however he could It was beautiful to see the staff still smiling and being courteous and the guests were also very appreciative of that

Breakfast bar was really good My family kids loved the pastries and omelette!Rooms were really spacious! The couch and work desk with TV was in one room and the other room has the beds and TV So it was perfect when we had to send the kids early to bed and we could hang out on the couch My husband could also work at the desk in the other room peacefully!Pool was good Warm enoughOverall a very pleasant experience and cannot wait to go back !

The staff were super friendly! They called a couple days in advance to give me an option for a room (mountain view vs atrium) I called back and requested a King with a mountain view, which they then upgraded me

Exceptional service like their staff gave before (wow!) and during our stay is a reason why I love being a Hilton member This was my first time staying at an Embassy Suites, and will totally stay here again Highlights: Easy check in, friendly and helpful front desk staff, on-site parking, hot breakfast in the morning (the omelets looked good, but the wait was way too long so we passed), lots of coffee downstairs in the morning (and alternative milks), clean room, close to Pasadena, Burbank airport, and Hollywood; and easy peasy check out Minor things: The underground parking structure is narrow and slightly confusing, and our room could use a fresh coat of paint (we thought the ceiling had a bug, but it was a black line from a marker?) Overall, a solid hotel 100% would stay here again

I understand that there’s a pandemic going on, and that the hospitality industry is suffering from a lack of hiring new employees However, I feel that if these major corporations would step up and do the right thing, and pay the money, a living wage that the employees deserve, there wouldn’t be such a lack of employees in the hotel industry Having said that, this hotel although the rooms are nice and large, the hotel was dirty! And during a time of a pandemic when you’re concerned about germs, it is disturbing to see just how dirty the windows, the glass doors, the elevators, and the buttons, the walls etc

are just full of handprints and fingerprints it’s just filthy! When we arrived at this hotel to check in we received the key to the room, went up to the room and it was dirty, had not been cleaned from the previous guest that had stayed there Went back downstairs to the front desk, told the front desk employee, who said that they would contact housekeeping Upon contacting housekeeping they told us we would have to wait for a clean room because they were short staffed in housekeeping We waited The room appeared to be clean And I did enjoy the layout of the room But the hotel overall in the common areas as previously stated, was just absolutely dirty It is very disappointing that the hotels will not step up and pay the employees a living wage so that they can take care of themselves and their families Parking is conveniently located underground at the hotel, and that was a positive experience The breakfast in the morning that they offer as a free buffet breakfast, was limited, but good CAB
