I visited the Fairfield Inn & Suites this weekend because my daughter was competing for soccer in Murfreesboro I had reservations elsewhere but wanted to stay somewhere a little more quiet I came to this location because it wasn’t too far from Richard Siegel Park and had a few options for shopping and restaurants that were easy to get to

Emone (I hope I spelled it right), greeted me with the warmest smile and high energy I was extremely tired from driving since 4am and being in the heat He went the extra mile to accommodate us and offered me a Gatorade and got me checked in a little early Most hotels don’t allow this, but I can’t begin to explain how grateful I am I had a migraine on top of being physically exhausted The room was clean, the hotel was quiet and the staff all spoke when I was in the hallway I felt welcomed, I hands down recommend this place because its been a long time since I have experienced great customer service

Me and my family with three kids stayed in the one bedroom suite, room 430, for two nightsThe staff was all so friendly and greatThe area was GREAT! We loved being minutes away from shopping and food, the area and town was just wonderful

My only complaint was that the room we stayed in had some staining and deterioration on the walls Needed a fresh coat of paint

Mike Wolf

This is by far one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at and I’ve stayed at some really nice ones Excellent staff super friendly, very clean all around If you’re looking for a stay that isn’t penny pinching like normal hotels are this is it

Breakfast is phenomenal so many choices and they just keep coming Highly recommend you won’t regret best part is it’s actually pretty cheap compared to most hotels Definitely staying here again if we’re ever in the area 😁😁😁😁

This is our second stay at this hotel Liked it enough the first time to come back again! Really like the 3 bed option (pull out couch and 2 queen) with the kitchens in every room! The sheets were the softest sheets I had ever slept in and the bed was comfortable!!! I want a pair of those sheets for home! Will come back again but our visit landed on Memorial Day weekend and it seemed it wasn’t as clean as the last time we stayed Big dead bug sitting at the bottom of the pool the next morning and the breakfast area was missing several items (spoons, waffle mix was very low, eggs were out, etc)

Not sure if this location was suffering from short staffing but it didn’t seem like the guy was going to stock more items out until he received a large tip from one of the guests and then more items were restocked shortly afterFront desk guy was helpful and friendly when we left in the morning and provided recommendations for things to do in Mt Juliet

We had a 2 queen room Overall, a clean and comfortable experience No carpet on the floors which helps with allergies

The beds and pillows were comfortable They had a soft and firm pillow option on the bed in labeled cases The smart TV connected easily to my phone for cast streaming They did serve a grab and go style breakfast and have coffee and tea available 24/7 We would stay here again

Daniel Griffin

Everything about the hotel was great, except the air conditioners Everything is new, very nice, clean, including the air conditioning but it just doesn’t keep the room cool I burned up at night and wasn’t able to get any sleep

I keep the air conditioner on 70° at home and set the hotel room on 65° hoping it would keep up I would not recommend Avid Hotel in Nashville if you need it cool in a room to sleep but if that isn’t an issue for you then this location really is a nice place to stay

Due to my daughter’s dance competition, I had to do an extended stay for 8 nights and the staff was extremely wonderful They really put on the southern charm, especially Uncle Leroy! He really made me feel at home with his hospitality! He always greeted me when I walked in the hotel and he always made sure I was good as far as things pertaining to my stay! I am truly going to miss him and this place!

Lindsay Bell

Do you want a hotel room with one functioning light? 3 towels for 4 people to use over 2 days? How about absolutely no trash can liners? And a manager who refuses to honor your (promised) military discount? If this parking garage lighting sounds up your alley, make sure to book a stay here! Oh, and even though the sign says breakfast is available at 6:00, just plan on that never being true

Austin Poore

Courtyard Mt Juliet was very hospitable and helped our extended stay become as smooth as possible Spent many nights down there at the bar with Leroy He is awesome and a very good story teller, and quick to put a smile on all customers faces

A very professional guy and the definition of what you would expect from southern hospitality!! Go see him when you stay and tell him Austin sent you The rooms, and the hotel itself are very clean Good area too

Stayed on business for an extended period at this Smyrna Home2 Suites location Had an outstanding experience The staff is first rate and very friendly

I like the shampoo and soap dispenser in the shower The breakfast is excellent and I really enjoyed the Belgian Waffles and fresh fruit Coffee and tea were always available in the lobby Good internet service The fitness center and laundry area is good I really like the ability to fill water bottles near the fitness center There is a gathering/lounge area with a fire pit that is very nice and relaxing I didn’t use the pool, but it seemed nice There are sidewalks and grassy areas if you choose to walk outside in the evening and the hotel is convenient to shopping, restaurants and interstate access I will stay here again, if I am in the area

Carrie Fisher

I expected a little better from Hilton, but the location was very convenient for our trip There was garbage in the can from the prior guest and no soap in the bathroom, but otherwise the room seemed clean

This was connected to Tru by Hilton, which is where the combined front desk is, so the Homes2 Suites entrance was unsecured and not monitored Breakfast was not great, so that wouldn’t bring us back It took more Hilton points to stay here than other options, but we usually prefer a Homes2 Suites when it’s available We wish we would have used less points to stay elsewhere in the Hilton chain

Colleen Ulvila

Had to switch rooms due to what the receptionist said was most likely a vaping smell Hallway smelled horrible, almost as if someone was cooking Indian food (smell did come from a room a few doors down from that kept their door cracked the entire evening) Fridge had a bad smell

Bathroom was overly tiny and bed was not very comfy for a Home2 (I’ve stayed at many) Was disappointed they were “renovating” the Home2 side of the hotel and therefore breakfast was on the Tru side (Home2 typically offers a much nicer breakfast) Furniture in room i switched to had holes in it (ottoman to be specific) Only employees I saw that were wearing actual hotel ‘uniforms’ (or even shirts) were the receptionists and breakfast lady Everyone else was wearing every-day, street-clothes looking sweatshirts and jeans Only reason I even gave it 3 stars is because they offset some of the issues with Hilton points, which i know is their standard way of trying to make things right, rather than issuing a credit

This place was just okay Luckily, it was only for a 1-night stay for a concert I drove up to attend The good – Front desk was pleasant and check in was fairly smooth

The price was not bad for a 1 night stayThe bad There were several small bugs (stink bugs, not bed bugs) in my room I killed 1 earlier in the evening upon arrival only to return to my room later that night and have to kill another crawling on the wall I found 2-3 others already dead behind the desk stand area Stink bugs are a nuisance and while other bugs may be worse, no one wants to encounter that, especially more than once during a stayStaff almost entered my room during a time I very well could have been getting dressed Didn’t like that at all I am a single, solo traveler Safety is my utmost concern I am a seasoned solo female traveler and in my 15 yrs of traveling solo, never had this to occur As mentioned, I was only there for a concert and this was a space of downtime between check in & prior to the event starting where I was about to prep for getting ready soon He knocked at the door but rather than speaking through the door, awaiting an appropriate response or simply moving on, he started to finagle with the door less than 5 seconds after knocking, as if he were entering The key or whatever he was using never unlocked the door and I exclaimed someone is in here! It startled me, so once he walked away, I immediately asked if I could change rooms, thinking at that time it was someone else (not staff) trying to get in! She stated they weren’t able to change the room and confirmed it was an employee double checking if the room was occupied Made no sense to me because it seemed they should know which rooms were available Even if the system didn’t reflect it, they should incorporate better methods for finding out, other than almost barging in a room unsure if a guest could be changing That stated, I likely would not stay again

Joseph Machesky Jr

A very nice Marriott property Although the showers are a negative No happy medium between burn, and freeze

Also the front desk person who would not get off of his Bluetooth left a bad taste in my mouth as well These things don’t affect the hotel as a whole so still four stars And I stay at many Marriott hotels as frequent traveler So I’m not just being a jerk for the sake of it A fine place to stay overall

Jennifer

Not a good experience When we arrived they were unable to make our room keys as their system was down This took approximately 6 hours to fix, and the staff had to let us in to several areas of the hotel that we needed to access (room, laundry room, and pool)

The two days we were there we had to get our room keys redone every day as they wouldn’t work It was very frustrating as were consistently getting locked out of the room

The lady cleaning the floor in the lobby when we arrived pet and talked to my anxious dog, which was super kind and helped ease my nerves about my first hotel stay with my pup Our room was very very clean and clearly had been disinfected all the way down to the carpet Even my dog couldn’t sniff out any remaining evidence of the guests before us

I will definitely be staying here again when passing through the area

Location is great close to many restaurants and shopping places including a super target The rooms are not so cleaned The walls were super dirty

In the bathroom, when you showered the whole bathroom floor would get wet The elevator was super slow and dirty Breakfast was included but we did not even tried since very little selection and did not look appetizing

This stay was very comfortable, including the breakfast in the clean and open lobby setting The people were above and beyond kind from the first phone call through to their timely and successful response to my having left a few items in the room They used FedEx packaging and securely packed the items that had sentimental value for me

It meant more than words can say to get those items back safely at my home I would love to stay here again, and definitely will, when I’m traveling through next time

Zoe Boyle

Our car broke down at 6 pm in Smyrna, we booked a room at this hotel and told them our situation They were incredibly sympathetic and took care of us while we were here Peggy was wonderful and asked the manager for a late check-out for us

This was a great experience and I appreciate their compassion There are also two restaurants within walking distance

Alex Cagle

This is the worst hotel I’ve stayed at We came here to have a nice enjoyable weekend and really only picked this one because of the pool that they told us was working

when we got all the way here the pool was completely closed and didn’t even have water in it Then we get to our room and there’s stains on the bed and the pillows even the towels Our fridge didn’t work and when we told them this they tried to move us to a room that was even worse I’ve never stayed at a hotel where they don’t have free breakfast if you want to eat breakfast here you have to pay to sit at a table and then if you even want to eat breakfast that’s another fee I guess they have to find some way to make up for being so bad in every other way because they lose money Save the time and go across the street or anywhere else just don’t come here

Four stars only because I was on the 1st floor near the noisy side entrance People coming and going late at night and early morning was very disturbing The door itself was a heavy instant shut door which I understand for security reasons, but it was noisy when it slammed shut

This entrance should only be assessable at reasonable times and needs a different fast closing quiet door if you are going to have guest staying on the 1st floor Inconsiderate not to inform guest of traffic in the 1st floor corridor at all times of the night Otherwise my room was very clean The housekeepers were friendly but front desk staff seemed too overworked to be friendly I would stay again but would not stay on the 1st floor Although I didn’t have the breakfast because of diet restrictions it looked very good Location was about 10- 15 miles away from the heart of Nashville Overall a nice stay

I recently had some business in Nashville and decided to stay on the outskirts of town to get away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Not really my scene I decided to stay at this hotel and it was a smaller hotel, maybe 100 rooms or less

While the hotel is a little older and could use a bit of a facelift in some areas, I had no complaints The Bed was very comfortable, the Hot Breakfast was good, which made me very happy since some hotels still haven’t returned that from Covid, but while I was there and checking in, the General Manger, David, was in the lobby and greeted me when I walked in and welcomed me to the hotel Then I saw him in the breakfast area the next morning helping the host and wiping tables, but what was impressive was he walked up and greeted me by my name and asked how I was doing The personal level of service was outstanding Great Leadership at this hotel Made me feel welcome Will be back when I come to town Great Job David and Team

I have stayed here before and chose to stay again while I was in town for work The room was very clean and well put together Staff was great and checking in/out was made super simple

My only complaint was the breakfast I remember the breakfast being really good last time I stayed but this time it was just boxed cereal and some microwaveable items Not only that but they closed it 30 minutes early I sat down to eat my sad breakfast and messaged my traveling partner about what they had available but by the time he got down there, they had closed it up A big bummer!

Gary Passmore

Overall pretty nice stay, this must be one of the cheaper hotels in the area bc they were super full They even called me while I was on the way to make sure I was going to arrive Overall, rooms were clean, loved the kitchen and there was enough room for 2small kids, a pop up crib, and my wife and me

We slept in the single king bed roomYou could tell thus place has had a decent face-lift within the last few years Things looked nice but upon further inspection you could tell they were a bit older but everything was still clean and nice where it mattered Would prob stay againThe breakfast was a tad bit underwealming, but I’m also a HUGE fan of the typical diy waffle makers and they just had pre packaged waffles overall it was an okay stay

We booked our stay for 6 days to celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary in Nashville Once in the room, we noticed the toilet had not been cleaned prior to our arrival Further, it was not touched by the cleaning crew at any time during our stay

Numerous contacts with the front desk for towels, coffee, and trash removal were not received well Wednesday the manager came to address the issue herself after we got off the phone with corporate The gentleman at the front desk even went so far as to lecture us about letting them know 24 hours ahead of time if we wanted those services The sticker on the bathroom mirror and our prior stays at Home2 suites didn’t need notice at all for a routine sweep during the week We contacted the desk three different times during this stay and even called corporate twice Returned today and the room still had not been touched by 3 PM We were Hilton honors members and found this stay bad enough we left two days early with both management and corporate insistent on not letting us check out early and refunding us the two remaining days Disappointing to say the least We travel often and look for this brand Now we will look for another brand that is customer service oriented and delivers on contractual obligations such as simple cleaning as described in their literature

Overall nice location End of the road Next to some forested area

Room was generally clean Couch had a few stains on it The office chair had a worn out arm rest missing the leather Walls could be a bit better insulated as I could hear the people next door Breakfast was good, lots of choices Very close to the airport Staff was friendly when I interacted with them

I very much enjoyed my overnight stay (June 6-7) at the Home2 Suites near Nashville Airport My brother and I had traveled by car all day from Oklahoma City The hotel was located in a quiet, tucked away area right off I 40

The property and our room was clean and plenty of space for us and my pet to relax and get a good night’s rest before continuing our toad trip to North Carolina I was happy with breakfast and the service at the property I would stay here again!

We stayed here going to Kentucky and then on our way back home This was not a good experience with a Hampton inn As an avid traveler and Hilton honors gold member, I found this to be one of the worst Hampton inns I’ve ever stayed at

I have many issues but will highlight just a few…the front desk girl was not friendly at all She seemed bothered that we needed something And it wasn’t just one time too Upon checking in no snacks or water offered I had to ask and front desk girl seemed annoyed Room smelled like stale smoke Floors were filthy in room My grandsons feet were filthy just walking around the room The pool was cloudy and gross on our way to Kentucky The whirlpool was a huge hole being repaired with just caution tape around it On the way back from Kentucky the pool was closed No microwave in room They are in EVERY room I’ve ever been in with Hampton inns I called front desk to inquire and they said they don’t come in standard rooms! The phones were absolutely disgusting I had to call the fro t desk using speaker phone because I didn’t want to be near it There’s also no towel racks for hand towels and no hooks on the luggage dollys This hotel needs some major cleaning and fixing

T Horowitz

Pros: great location, close to the freeway, great breakfast in the morning, tasty coffee, nice rooms, good staffCons: the pool was really gross and not clean, our room was not clean (however the staff helped with that one)If the pool was better maintained, I’d give 5 stars

Tom Medlock

First room we got the AC was rattling so load you wouldn’t be able to sleep Moved us to another room a suite which was a room with a broken down sofa and a coffee table The toilet handle was broken ! Went to breakfast next morning

Terrible breakfast Something called an omelet was cold, breakfast potatoes were not cooked Complained to kitchen attendant and was told that’s the way they were told to cook themI have had much better rooms and breakfasts in $ 8000 hotels Save your money and go some place else

We stayed here for four nights and we were very happy with the friendly service and delicious breakfast options The pool was well-kept, and my kids had a blast We would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to stay again in the future

As a side-note, the woman that was running the kitchen does a super job-she clearly takes pride in her work

This hotel was in a really nice location and central to many of the attractions in the area Unfortunately the staff was not attentive to the needs of the people staying at the hotel My stay was for 4 days

After night one, I requested the sheets and towels to be changed out at the front desk I was told no problem This never happened when I returned that evening The next day I again requested clean towels and again was told it would be done No towels changed out again Both days I needed to go to the front desk and get new towels as I had put them on the floor in the bathroom as instructed Day #3 I inquired about clean towels being replaced and this time I was informed to leave the dirty ones in the hallway and they would be swapped out I returned later in the evening to the towels gone from the hallway and no towels in the room at all This was very frustrating to say the least Not one time was the room touched the entire time I was there Garbage never emptied, bathroom not cleaned or beds changed Very disappointed On the morning of check out I was told that they could not print my receipt and that it would be emailed to me It has now been 4 days since check out and I still have not received any email Other hotel options in the area to stay so my next visit I will probably try somewhere else

MAKE SURE YOU REVIEW YOUR RATE before you sign or initialI was told one rate and then was given another and because I believed them, I didn’t go over the rates in person with a fine-toothed combThe room was average but had a musty smell

Decent breakfast was the best part about our stay

I just spent 3 nights here and it was ok The employees are really nice and the room was clean My A/C worked fine

Breakfast was good and plentiful Pool is clean Hot water in shower was good There are some issues like the floor in the hallway on 2nd floor feels like you will fall thru in some areas, not sure what that is about The rooms are not sound proof, you hear everything Cracker Barrel restaurant right next door you can walk to There is noise from a expensive hip-hop joint next door don’t think hotel can control that, I saw state trooper in patrol car parked in hotel parking lot hanging out with some of the customers

The gentleman who checked me in was so pleasant and the hotel is exceptionally clean Next, I would say the convenient location

but because of the excellent customer service and the cleanliness I will be most definitely be staying here again I am surprised to see the previous reviews as Holiday Inn is where I normally stay and they were booked I went over to another hotel across the street and it was double the price AND was NOT as clean as this hotelVery pleased

Hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of Nashville and easy to get into and out of Rooms were in fair shape–useable, but not the best Most of the furniture was scratched or busted, and the room was fairly dark

The front desk clerk said they are in the process of replacing much of the furniture, so this may improve in the futureEverything worked in our room, and staff were courteous throughout our stay Would recommend for anyone looking for a place to stay without a lot of bells and whistles

Lovely hotel close to Nashville but not too close where you’re stuck in the bustle of the city Quick check in for our late check in after a long drive Rooms were clean and simple

Bed was a little firm for my liking after 4 nights I was feeling a bit sore Fan in the bathroom didn’t work so bathroom steamed up a lot but shower heated up fast!Breakfast was nice though it did end a little early at 9 I believe Getting there around 8-8:30 sometimes things were a little depleted but still ate plenty Desk was there for what you needed!Wifi in my room was spotty for my phone- my partner said his was fine and my phone upstairs in our friends room was fine Don’t know whether it was my phone or the wifi maybe a bit of bothPool wasn’t open when we went- not sure if it said anywhere the months that the pool is open- but it was around 85 degrees for most of our trip so it would have been nice

I have stayed here for almost 2 weeks only because my truck was being repaired But I have stayed at many hotels and I know a good one aswelll as a bad hotel when I get one

with the improvements they have made so far on this one is really an improvement from what people have said From Jennifer to the rest of the staff it’s been awesome Clean rooms good breakfast and price not too bad but make sure you book as early as possible The rooms go fast Thank you for being one of the hotels that know what we want in a hotel Yes I would book here again

Hotel was decent, staff was helpful However, a bit disappointed when I went into room and saw drink marks from cups all over desk area Definitely was never wiped down from the last guest

How hard is it to entirely clean everything from the last guests Over a hundred dollars a night for this hotel room and that’s what u get Smh, disappointing by far Lacks details extremely No need for that at all

The rooms were suitable, but do not stay here if you are intending to use the lobby at all! They aren’t accommodating to any sports teams even though they were under a contract with the tournament Closed their lobby to all guest at 3pm in the afternoon because the 10 people sitting and watching a game on TV were too loud Very unprofessional staff!!! We stay in a hotel almost every weekend and I’ve never written a bad review on any other stay! Would never stay here again!

Had to book this place last minute because my flight got cancelled They were very accommodating The place is really clean

The bed is comfortable , they have free tea and coffee in the lobby And your regular breakfast in the morning We had to leave at 4 am and the lady setting up breakfast saw us leaving and she offered us some biscuits It’s the little things Stayed at two other hotels in this are and neither of them were as clean as this one

There is no way Country Inn and Suites is a 3 star hotel They are woefully understaffed with only one front desk attendant The room itself is the worse for wear and I suspect unclean

The furniture is chipped The charging station is falling of the wall The upholstered chair is clearly stained The door frames, doors, door knobs, and toilet tissue holders are smeared with paint The teak fold-down bench in the shower is nasty and has been smeared with beige paint The room doesn’t adequately cool during the day and freezes at night There was a long black hair on the floor by the toilet and in a redhead There is no place to place toiletries in the shower except for the nasty bench which I refused to used The tile grout in the shower is dark gray and stained The shower drain looks as if it will sink into the ground and disappear any minute The towels are so small I thought they were hand towels initially And, they only give you two There is no shelf or cabinet with a few more towels as would be expected of any decent, civilized hotel The “bar” of soap barely lasted for one shower There is no blanket stored in the room extra warmth if needed The king bed has a thin, sad mattress that is hard but somehow sunken in The bed linens are decent and there is a massive TV I haven’t eaten breakfast because I’m so appalled by the 3 star rating of this hotel, I haven’t yet eaten the hot breakfast offered but I am very wary I thought this hotel would be better than a Hampton Inn where I have stayed many times and have been very pleased Not so, Country Inn and Suites is a Motel 6 with interior hallways at best

Had to book last minute due to an unexpected event Had my main card froze and had to budget Booking last minute with little money is scary in Nashville and I stumped upon this hotel that was within my spending limit

I was a little nervous because anything that mentions “airport” on the description of a hotel is usually terribleI was shocked Felt like I was taking a luxury vacation Had a private bedroom with a door to it A separate living room Amazing shower with great water pressure and nice toiletries TWO TVs!! A coffee bar in the room as well as already ready coffee in the lobby!!! I didn’t get to take advantage of the pool as it was a short rushed stay but I will for sure return!!!
