Got the room with double beds but they were full mattresses, not queens so it was a pretty bad night sleep On top of that the room looked out over the parking lot and there are no blackout curtains so we had blinding light from the parking lot coming in all nightIt was clean and safe but unless you’re hard up, I’d recommend finding other lodging

Cameo VanDenBosch

The weekday breakfast lady is amazingBut the rooms are dirty with stained furniture, the elevators are nasty, the black out curtains are riped upThe toilet wasn’t attached very well to the floorI will never stay here againYes you pay for what you get and at $40000 per night I would have expected a cleaner hotel in generalWhen we talked to the GM she said we will have maintinece come look, as we were leaving she said we were able to find a pair of black out curtains which one do you want us to change out

Don’t waist your money stay someplace else

Enjoyed our stay The room is very spacious and well organized There are two entries to the room and several exists to the parking

The pool side entry of the room is what we liked You can get a beautiful view of the garden alongside pool The fitness center is clean and nice The location of this hotel is perfect for shopping and lot of food options around

The customer service is Awesome! Every employee I spoke with was polite and usefulIn terms of the room, I was disappointed I stayed on the second floor with my family, including our pet

On our way to the room, we noticed none of the doors open automatically The doors are heavy and none are open with a door stopper either I found it tiresome to constantly have to struggle opening the door and pushing my baby’s stroller through the doorwayThe cleanliness of the room was good-clean sheet, towels No bugs or anything either Overall, the rooms should be updatedAnother thing that made my stay difficult was the access to a microwave There are only two microwaves, which are located in front of the front desk, which is such an inconvenience Imagine being on one side of the hotel and having to constantly go to the front desk to use the microwave—food, sterilizing bottles, etc I think there should be a microwave on each floor for guestsBuffalo is my hometown, and I always wanted to stay at this hotel—meaning excited However, I feel this hotel was top notch and prime 5-10 years ago, but now it could use some updates

Business travel and stayed for one night Check in was super easy and they let me check in way early, thank you!Staff was great all aroundBathroom was well stocked with basics, shower has shampoo/conditioner/body wash – super convenient!Front desk has extra personal toiletries they can provide for free

Definitely recommended!

My room was NOT clean The toilet seat hadn’t been cleaned from the guests before us! Thank goodness I brought my own Clorox Wipes! The POOL and the HOT TUB were out of service I got the room with the king bed and pull out sofa

It was a TINY room I paid $290 for this room, definitely NOT worth it! VERY disappointed!!!!!! The good, the lady who checked us in was wonderful! The shampoo, conditioner and body wash were all good quality That’s it Those two things were the only good things

Amanda Straka

The room was so clean! That was wonderful But the service was lacking The website says they have 24 hour airport shuttle, they don’t

It also said the have free local shuttle When I asked about getting a shuttle to the store a mile away I was told they could only take me one way and that I could walk I love walking, but didn’t have time The man at the front desk was weird and smug about it He acted confused and put out when I asked for a receipt when checking out Maybe that’s not standard anymore?? As in from when I last stayed in a hotel 7 days ago

We stayed here for a friend’s wedding and were not overly impressed Sonny and Brian at the front desk greeted us warmly, but things started going south after that We were informed that the front elevator was broken and wouldn’t be fixed for several days

This meant having to drive around to the back of the building for the rear elevator, this also involved going outside in order to reach the lobby We were also informed that there would be no housekeeping or hot breakfast as advertised due to “covid protocols” We got to our rooms and found it very nice and clean The next morning I noticed a very high charge from the hotel on my credit card When I went to the front desk to inquire the woman there seemed like she was annoyed that I was bothering her, and informed me that the room rate I was being charged was double what I was quoted as the wedding price She said that I needed to see the manager, but he wasn’t in yet I then went to see about the grab and go breakfast to find what looked like day old bagels and muffins No plates and no juice even When I came back later and asked for the manager to discuss my room rate the same clerk disappeared and came back 10 minutes later and said the manager said I have to take up the matter with the sales office I asked to speak directly with the manager and was told he was busy The attitude of the rest of the employees was just as lacking in positive customer service attitude The experience at this hotel was very disappointing and detracted greatly from the happy occasion that we traveled 6 hours to Buffalo for

Hotel is nice Restaurant and bar are great Customer service on this side is great – Hallway with pics and history on display is fun too read and look at

Room was nice but pillows were in need of upgradeNo room clean up during stay, which did not impress me I keep room and bathroom pretty organized but like it to be cleaned daily or due to covid at least fresh towels daily Had to ask for towels shampoo/soap everyday House keeping would not give to me, so had to go through front desk every nightThey advertise free breakfast but it’s just small pastries, coffee, juice Could not play pool because pool table was turned in to mini food tableSpa day was niceOn the fence if I would stay here again understand somethings are different due to covid, but still think there should be a level of serviceWould definitely do a date night dinner to the restaurant and bar many times over

Barbara Wills

We paid $600+ for our room for two nights Was not impressed We were there for a wedding

The bed was not comfortable, sheets did not fix, no microwave, no ice bucket Had to call down for toilet paper Best part, the bathroom! We had the Harriet suite Breakfast was a big joke Would we recommend, nope Want a good place, stay at Russell’s We have stayed there at least 5 times and everything was great Not here Do have to give a thumbs up for the front desk staff

This is a pretty solid hotel, easily one of the best in the Hamburg/Orchard Park area, so the bad reviews are kind of bizarre to seeThe price ain’t bad I’ve stayed at much worse places for much more money

The value here is really about on par with what it should beThe staff isn’t overly friendly, but they aren’t rude or off-putting either They get the job done for what their job isOur room was clean, modern enough, and we were relieved to find coffee in there because we’ve recently had a string of hotels that did NOT have coffee in the roomI think what was particularly above average was the bed It was one of the most comfortable hotel beds we’ve ever slept in All the traveling we’ve ever done all over the country, dozens of different hotels, and this is a bed we’ll remember as one of the bestHowever, I was disappointed in the breakfast I was really looking forward to breakfast because it seemed they have a decent one as far as free hotel breakfasts go, but there wasn’t much The pancake machine wasn’t working, the metal containers were empty… Basically just a muffin and yogurt with coffee

Chelsea Baro

The rooms were clean and the bed VERY comfortable! The showers do take a few minutes to heat up, but once they get there they too are very nice However, the biggest plus of this hotel was the breakfast and the little lady with white hair and gold earrings working it The breakfast had multiple options for my boyfriend who has severe food sensitivities, an accommodation we are not at all used to in a hotel breakfast, which was PHENOMENAL! And the lady working was attentive, sweet, and went above and beyond for everyone attending the breakfast

We are very happy with our stay here

I regret being compelled to review this hotel in this way, but given the unacceptable circumstance, have no choice but to inform other of my experienceAs a real estate investor, I oftentimes find myself in many cities that are unknown to me When choosing my temporary residence, there are two things that I prioritize…1

The property must be smoke free2 The property must be among the highest guest reviewed properties in the given area3 Noon check-outThat’s itI choose to stay in the highest rated, smoke-free property that allows for a noon checkout To find the highest rated property, I look here – Where you’re reading this review right nowAll of that said, the stay was mediocre Not bad, not great The staff were, for the most part, cheerful The room was, acceptably clean, absent some (what I can only imagine) ketchup(?) splattered on the ceiling… I only seen it, after my second day in the room; a non-issueMy real trouble, comes post-checkout I departed the hotel at 11:30 AM on Saturday morningThree hours later, reviewing the expenses of the trip, I discovered that the hotel had billed me $27572 This amount was in-addition to the $33944 that I had paid to Expedia for the two-night stayI immediately called the property to inquire about the added charge and was told that there was nothing that could be done until a manager could *possibly* process a refund, on TuesdayNow, I’m not in a position where I’m drastically affected by a few hundred dollars being unusable for a number of days – but I have been in my lifetime I know that if this “mistake” happened to me, it’s happened to others Others who very well may not realize it until it’s too late, or not recognize it at all… And worse, people whose lives could be drastically impacted by not having access to their own money, when they reasonably and rightfully should expect toImagine a scenario where a guest of this hotel departs, flys across the country, and then are declined an Uber from the airport – because their bank account has insufficient fundsIt’s well past 48-hours since they’ve charged me the extra $275 – I’ve yet to receive the refund I’ve yet to receive a phone call, apology, email or textAs a guest who is adamant about leaving the room in the condition I found it, only staying in the highest rated properties, who is smoke-free, quiet and what I can only imagine an “ideal” guest… It’s starting to seem like their *real* ideal guest is one that doesn’t recognize they’ve been charged hundreds of dollars – for no reason at allIt seems sort of unbelievable that no system or brand standard exists within the Holiday Inn ecosphere that eliminates double or inadvertent billing If they do, I can only assume the extra charge was intentional, unjustified, and not an isolated incident – if this is true, and discovered to be the case, it would constitute theft, fraud or both

My close friend had a hotel party here recently Rooms were clean Showers properly cleaned( you can tell someone took the time to clean the tub and walls, unlike some other hotels)

Experienced the Pool at night Was warm and clean Not to much chlorine in the pool, ( no hurt eyes) Surrounding pool area clean and kept decently dry During the night the pool was not busy at all It was nice to have the pool to ourselves!

Gabriella Kaecher (Gab)

Rooms a bit outdatedcarpets could use good cleaning Lot of stains

Room wasn’t as clean as it could have been Staff very friendly Breakfast was very good, lot of selection Even had gluten free cereal and sugar free syrup for the waffles Pool was disappointing Water very cold and hot tub jets didn’t workBut overall was satisfactory

Du Hau

Nice & spacious room (& shower) Good breakfast after a restful night with comfortable pillows and bed Worth the price

However, the hotel is a little hard to find from the road at night thoughThe best part is what I found at the desk: a little card of being alert for “Human Trafficking” (pictures) 5 stars +

My friends and I just stayed here this past weekend We were visiting from Toronto and it was a great experience Rooms were clean, beds and pillows were super comfortable, breakfast was delicious, the pool was awesome and the customer service was the absolute best!We had the pleasure of dealing with both Kay and Sabrina and they were both amazing

They accommodated us from beginning to end I have never experienced exceptional customer service like this and I will definitely be returning again The manager was also terrific and very kind We had some car trouble when we checked out and he was so helpful Thank you so much! We will be seeing you guys soon

Chris Woodroffe

Upon checking in there was lots of parking and the check in process was quick We went to our room which is a good size for a typical hotel roomBreakfast was well tended too with more options then a typical HIE which was nice

The lady the tended to the buffet did a great jobIn terms of location the hotel is in an excellent spot right off the highway and close to Walden Galleria, many restaurants and other power/strip mallsWhat I like best about the HIE is that you exactly what your going to get with the brand

Neka79

We asked for an exec king room which is a very nice size, but we soon realized the bathroom was dirty Someone else’s hair was all over the bathroom floor I called the front desk and they apologized and moved us to a double queen exec, which is also a nice size room

However, this room was also dirty and we were too exhausted to look for another hotel, especially since a lot of hotels were already sold out First thing, my husband sat in the office chair and almost fell backward because the chair was in bad condition Both headboards were oily from other guests’ hair products Then the bathroom had a child’s handprint on the mirror, and there was a man’s shaven facial hairs surrounding the base of the sink faucet

The hotel is predictable Not a bad thing, just exactly what you expect from a Courtyard Location is great with lots to do in walking distance

The only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars from me is the check in experience I’m lifetime platinum elite with Marriott Not only did the guy checking me in not mention anything, he didn’t offer me a welcome gift as I’m become accustomed to expecting And who knows if an upgrade was available, but I surely wasn’t offered oneI usually stay at the Marriott across the street and figured I’d save a few bucks on this trip Guess as the saying goes, you get what you pay for

Robin Greulich

The room was clean and nice but it never got warm The staff was not very attentive The Starbucks had a very limited menu and a long wait

Second day they were out of creamerThe gym was small but adequate The hot tub was closed for repairs

Deepak Chodha

Overpriced and doesn’t deserve to be a Marriott ChainBooking shows King bed but Queen bed in the roomRoom didn’t have basic amenities like shower gel, laundary bag

When requested for dental kit, had to wait 2hours They don’t even keep bathroom sleepersNo concierge to advise travellersNo noise cancellation rooms, probably no padding between room walls We couldn’t sleep because we could hear next room people chatting whole night

While the property is a bit worn, the staff is amazing and accommodating, it’s very clean and I would stay here again in a New York minute I got here late at night and even though their website says they have shuttle service from the airport till midnight, when I called, they said they didn’t have a driver I understand staffing issues since Covid but suggested the should take off of their website till they can properly staff the shuttle

Even though I’m sure it wasn’t in his job description, Robert picked me up anyway and I was very grateful The room was very nice complete with a seating area, a small kitchen and they have a tub and full size coffee pot (all of which I love) I was on CA time so spent some time around the fire pit to wind down Overall, I really like this property!

WORST hotel stay I’ve ever experienced When we arrived to the door of our room, there was a pot with bacon grease sitting directly in front of our door The hallway leading up to our room was also filled with various trash as if housekeeping hadn’t been up there in days and smelled

The room was not cleaned, feel pretty confident in saying they switched out the towels and sheets and then just left without actually cleaning anything There was food on the wall, stains on the chairs, the bath tub was gross and definitely not sanitized, dusty surfaces, and huge tear in the bed comforter We went to the front desk to ask if the pot of bacon grease could at least be picked up and the woman at the front desk scoffed and was extremely rude and then saying “I guess I’ll just get to it if I can” – she mentioned being under staffed, which I understand is frustrating, but not an excuse to be rude to a guest I was a front desk agent at a hotel myself, and this woman had 0 customer service skills and was not apologetic in the slightest We went out to dinner, came back and the bacon grease was still sitting outside of our door, while I didn’t have high expectations that it would be taken care of right away based on the interaction with the employee at the front desk, but what was frustrating to see was that when we arrived back from dinner the staff of the hotel was just sitting in the main lobby common area just chatting and laughing together and remained there for awhile that night, don’t understand how an understaffed hotel has so much “free time” on their hands, the extreme lack of cleanliness of the hotel was just unacceptable and the amount of time they spent socializing you could have easily cleaned up the trash in the hall multiple times The trash throughout the hall, including the pot of bacon grease was never picked up during our stay so our one request was ignored While the hotel is a convenient location, definitely pass on this place and go somewhere cleaner that actually takes care of the property

Adss Amoni

I don’t understand how this hotel has high reviews The service was terrible You can never get them on the phone ever (even sometimes as a guest in the hotel), and if they pick up, they leave you on hold for hours or no one has answers

If you’re looking to use their “shuttle” from the airport, don’t bother I don’t believe they actually have a proper running shuttle from the airport The rooms are average at best, the hallways smell and the breakfast is sub-par Oh and there’s no light dinner as some of these booking websites suggest The best thing about the hotel is the kitchen in the rooms in my opinion

I decided to try the Pure Living room type due to sensitivities and allergies I will say it was one of the best nights sleep my family had! The hotel was very clean and smelled fresh everywhere you want The staff was very friendly, helpful and attentive

I want to specifically point out Nathan who was a chef in the breakfast area He was in charge of the made to order omelet station The omelets were amazing He was so professional and courteous and honestly, I have no idea how he kept up with the crowd, but he made it look easy Thanks to all staff for an amazing experience in Buffalo!

This was a fantastic hotel! The service was outstanding in every way Our favorite surprise was the personalized omelette cook! It was honestly the best omelette I’ve ever had!!! The complimentary drinks and snacks was a very nice surprise as well We were disappointed that the pool was closed, but we understand that was due to renovations

The valet service was a little inexpensive, however the service made it absolutely worth it!! The rooms were spacious and very clean All in all this was the best hotel over ever stayed at and definitely will look for this specific hotel when we travel in the future

Marcos Rollan

The front desk lady that welcomed us was extremely attentive and very competentThe suite was super comfortable and ideal for large familiesThe breakfast was included and of high quality and multiple offerings

We chose the Hampton Inn because unlike most hotels that offer two double beds, the Hampton offers two queen size beds – which makes for a much more comfortable sleep with 4 people in the room Additionally, they offer a 12pm checkout which is later than most hotels When traveling with kids, the later checkout time is most appreciated

Beds and bedding was clean and comfortable Breakfast in the morning was fine, although a little crowded Staff were very friendly and helpful which was refreshing A few items did need some attention: our bathtub drained slowly so by the time I was done showering the tub was almost full The bathroom fan didn’t work which made the room a little humid There was a ball of someone else’s dirty socks under the AC unit The pool was murky and greenish and really needs a proper shock treatment Nothing major All in all a good stay Would stay again

kortney marwood

The staff was very friendly and helpful We were not a fan of the sliding bathroom door as it didn’t block out sound from from the bathroom The room was on the small side for 4 people (2 adults, 2 kids)

The fridge was also pretty small, but these were minor things The pool was nice The breakfast was good and had a variety The wifi worked wellOur air conditioning died at 3 am The front desk clerk came up and tried to help us fix it, but it continued to blow hot air, so we turned it off The hotel was full so they could not offer us another room The manager was apologetic the next morning and reduced our bill substantially I think it was a fluke and they did their best to fix it

Karen Johnson

Really nice, clean facility Easy on/off from major highways, anything you could want or need nearby Nice buffet breakfast was included and honestly it was so nice to see thst small return to normal even though we only grabbed coffee

Front desk attendant was so nice Overall a good stayDownsidesyou’re near the airport so it is noisy; bathroom is small and has no place for your “stuff”; pool was small so if you’re traveling with a team (we were) be aware

It was fine For $220+ a night I expected a little more attention to detail Little things that weren’t enough to complain about, like the toilet paper not being unwrapped or on the roll (I know it sounds petty, but we stay in hotels for the details) it would have been nice to have more than one package of sugar and creamer for the coffee when we had 2 people staying in the room

The TV was dated with the old guide that you have to sit and watch roll through to see what’s on TV I’ve recently stayed in less expensive hotels with more offeredIt is a nice place though Linens nice, white and clean The rooms are clean and big, bathroom was sparkling clean Hotel staff was decent I didn’t use the pool or hot tub, but I saw it and it looked very nice But overall for the Hilton brand I expected more

We spent four nights here with two younger kids around July 4 It is a good base for visiting Niagara Falls while staying in a city with other activities and things to do Hotel is clean, parking is cheap and secure, and the rooms are large

It has a nice indoor pool Staff were excellent across the board Location is good It is a solid Hampton InnBreakfast, which is the same here as every other Hampton Inn, is starting to feel a little stale Very little in the way of healthy food, no cut fruit, etc Hotel ran out of unflavored half and half after the first morning and did not replace it, but staff said they were waiting on a delivery Can’t blame them for that, although a carafe of half and half would be better than tiny processed cream packets any dayBut, all told, a comfortable and pleasant stay Overall 85/10

Was in buffalo on some less than ideal circumstances Arrived at 3 am and the lady at the desk was extremely friendly and accomodating I was given the opportunity to have a late check out and when I went to get a covid test to return to Canada they held on to my luggage so I didn’t have to drag it around with me

The rooms are beautiful and very clean all the amenities were beautiful This hotel is the best in buffalo and I would love to stay here again

This hotel needs work If you like the smell of dirty feet from old carpet in room, paper thin walls, a worn old skinny mattress, and scratchy thin sheets this is the place for you I expect more from a hotel with the Hampton name on it

Also, this hotel is not cheapUpdate, so the housekeeping staff is responsible for quality of mattresses, and sheets? And replacing ridiculously old smelly carpet?

Janice Watson

The room was nice with the exception of no phone in the room, the room service is nonexistent and if you wish the room to be serviced you must call the front desk to request service This is due to the Covid issueThe breakfast bar has a good selection and there is fresh coffee and fruit available all day

There were basketball teams staying at the same time we were there and you had to get to the breakfast early The kids had healthy appetites but were very politeThe front desk is pleasant and very helpful in answering our questionsCheck out was very simple and easy

Donna Mergenhagen

While the physical property is convenient and well maintained, the “free breakfast” amenity is problematic The staff member administering the service either wore no mask or the mask below her nose Guests and other staff consistently followed guidelines, but the food handler did not

She was also observed doing housekeeping (mopping and sweeping) in the lobby area and returning to serve, heat and handle food without washing or sanitizing her hands Although the observations were reported to the desk, the unsanitary behavior continued She needs to be provided food service training or to be moved to other responsibilities

I recently stayed for the Buffalo Marathon weekend and was incredibly pleased with my stay The staff at the front desk were helpful and friendly and the room was perfect I was very appreciative of the table with water and fruit for the runners after the race

Thank you for that! This was a great place to stay and the friendly staff made it even better Not one complaint about my stay

Mary Mitchell

Room smelled like it was a smoking room not too long ago Shower fixtures were not installed correctly and hotel will have mold in the walls very soon if not already Elevators were not working several times during my stay and I had to walk up/down 9 stories

Many services are still not restored from COVID Bar area was nice and Starbucks was fast and efficient every morning Easy access to the convention center and you don’t have to go outside of the weather is not good

Robert D’Orso

When we got there, there was a 15 minute wait to get to our room, which was unprepared Once we got into the room there was a huge stain on the ground and the room was next to the elevators We moved over to another one but it was still outdated and dirty in some locations, like the window for example

The main lobby and public areas are beautiful and fancy, but it is not replicated on any floors above The pool was closed because it was not easily accessible to disabled individuals I understand why it should be made accessible but it should have been accessible a long time agoAlthough the people are nice and the location in the city is perfect, some necessary things must be fixed before it is the ideal hotel it is aiming to be

I was a bit uneasy after reading a few horror reviews from recent visitors Upon arrival the hotel looked promising as the lobby and hallways appeared to be clean and well maintainedHowever once we got into the room we were assigned, there was food crumbs on the floor and the bathroom floor was sticky/grimy

We went down to the front desk, got a new room and Steve was awesome plus apologetic He mentioned if we had any more issues, they had plenty of rooms available at the moment The second room was great, clean, sheets smelled fresh but realized there was no fridge to hold milk for our toddlerAgain, we called front desk and this time, it was quite a condescending tone from Paul He mentioned not every room has a mini fridge and microwave He so called “offered” for us to keep our toddler’s milk at the fridge at the front As a parent, I am not comfortable leaving my toddlers milk like this Paul went even further and said he knows we are only staying for one night and cannot keep giving us a new roomI was very taken back by this, I paid for this room As a matter of fact, he didn’t give me anything but a horrible feeling that I cannot trust this hotel againMy apologies for housekeeping at this point, I’m going to be using a lot of ice tonight to keep the milk cold and will never be returning to this hotel even if it was free

I booked two rooms on a weekend the rate was between $150 and $160 for the night This hotel is located just off the I-290 in Amherst, and thankfully is far enough from the interstate, you cannot really hear much trafficOur experience with check-in was positive

The staff were helpful and answered any questions we had without issueOn arrival, the exterior and the property generally look nice Same with the lobby and hallways It ends thereOur first impression of the rooms is that they are small There’s not much room to move around once you get a family inside with any luggageThe interior of the room was lacklustre to say the least The laminate floor was dirty, with giant gaps to stub your toes on The furniture is well used, and abused, and appeared to be hastily wiped down but not cleaned fullyThe minifridge was clean, but the freezer inside was full of frost The coffee maker was dirty and didn’t look appealing to use at allThe TV worked, but froze up intermittently, becoming frustrating to deal withThe bathroom is incredibly small, like REALLY small – with a toilet and small shower stall, barely big enough for a grown adult to fit in Anyone with physical ailments or a larger person would have a tough time making it workThere was hair on the floor of the shower stall, and on the bathroom floor The corners of the floor, behind the toilet were dirty and full of dustWe booked a room for two adults and two kids, but the room only had two towels Again, the staff were helpful and arranged to get us more, but was disappointing this wasn’t taken care of as part of the bookingThe beds themselves were clean, but underneath the beds (yes, there’s an underneath the bed at this hotel) were disgusting Tons of dust and dirtBoth of the two rooms we booked were on the same state of cleanlinessWe had no problems with noise, other than hearing the toilet flush periodically from the room aboveWe checked out the pool area It was generally clean, but appears that some areas are in need of being freshened upI’ve stayed at a number of other Hilton hotels in the past, and have always had a great stay Unfortunately this one missed the mark completely I would not return to this hotel again, nor would I recommend it

Joshua Wakelin

This was a great place to stay

yes the furniture isn’t new, yes it could use a touch up of paint here or there, but honestly it’s not the RitzThe place was clean and the staff were amazingly polite and accommodatingI’ve stayed in many hotels over the years and I can honestly say I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again
