This hot springs resort in Ukiah is the oldest hot springs in California It claims that Jack London visited The “mountain cabin” we stayed was comfortable for two but had no TV or or food on the premise

However, It was soothing and quiet The champagne mineral hot springs helps with circulation, it’s not real hot but rejuvenating The main pool was very warm with heated mineral waters We walked on the trail and enjoyed the flora and fauna It had exquisite scenery

This place is always a gem to come back to Truly relaxing and magical! The grounds are well kept and the overall vibe is very peaceful The baths are a nice lukewarm temperature to take a bath in during the late afternoon of early evening

I love coming here because the staff is also very welcoming and helpful The rooms are cozy and a bit smallish What could be improved are the bathrooms on the mountain side view They are very small, with one tiny shower stall with very limited lighting It could definitely use a some upgrades to match the cozy interior Thank you for letting me stay here!

So fun! Went here off season and experienced the Vichy tubs for the first time We spent 2 days walking and carrying heavy bags at a trade show in Santa Rosa, so this place was a very welcome retreat and treat to recover physically and mentally from the stress of travel across state and expo days This place is amazing! Go on a warm day to enjoy the baths, we then used the hot tub which was wonderful extra hot to really penetrate sore muscles

Then steps from there are another set of less bubbly tad bit stinkier water that is covered rooms two tubs per room We then walked back to the fresh unheated pool and it was exceptionally cold on a hot 95 degree day, but it was very refreshing and invigorating We finished with a rinse under the private single stall outdoor shower which was very freeing nude! This place has a fun history of writers and famous people retreating at this resort and it is certainly charming The grounds are beautiful throughout Could be a great venue for a small wedding or small celebration get togethers Hair and skin felt so soft and overall relaxation of the atmosphere really has an effect on visitors

We truly enjoyed our time at the Reese Ranch Retreat last Sunday morning The Reese Ranch Retreat was a joyous, unique, and magical experience for our little family We took our toddler with us to the Reese Ranch Retreat, and she really adored all the variety of farm animals on this ranch

We got to meet, pet, cuddle, and feed baby goats, cows, horses, chickens, and donkeys! Our tour guide, Amanda was absolutely wonderful, patient, and super sweet to us We all had a spectacular time at the Reese Ranch Retreat We HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RANCH TO EVERYONE VISITING LAKE COUNTY, CA AND TO EVERYONE WHO RESIDES IN LAKE COUNTY, CA

What an amazing experience at Reese Ranch Retreat! My family did the animal experience with Amanda, she was a amazing tour guide and shared so much information about the animals and was great with our two year old son, he’s already asking to go back If your looking for something fun to do I highly suggest booking the animal experience!

This was a trip gifted to me by my fiance for my birthday This was fun and I enjoyed the quiet near the lake There is a pier exclusively across the street from the location to walk out on for guests

June and her husband were very gracious and delicious breakfast was served daily We stayed in La caboose for 2 days The tub was very comfortable and if you get the chance to drive around the lake that’s a good way to spend it a day

Bill Mulgrew

What a wonderful experience! The new owners Jami and David were friendly, professional and determined to be excellent hosts The property is serene and the pool spotless The savory breakfasts were fantastic

We stayed in the Casablanca caboose, which was very clean and a lot of fun Watching the movie “Casablanca” in the room was a treat I think this is one of the older cabooses, and it needs a little work to be “perfect” but we had no complaints at all We were able to tour a few of the other cabooses, and they were beautifully done and fresh in their upkeep A wonderful spot for a romantic getaway We will go back

Christina

Pulling up to this very unique B&B was quite shocking considering we spontaneously booked it without seeing all the photos first! General tip: I highly recommend doing this occasionally to keep your trips interesting After a bit of hesitation, we decided to check it out Meeting the very attentive owner June, and having her show us our room/car, we were pleasantly surprised how clean and accommodating she keeps her establishment

Needless to say, we unpacked straight away and headed over to fish for some cats or bass The unobstructed views of the lake make for a lovely backdrop for an evening stroll or enjoying coffee in the morning To top of our time there June made us the best homemade breakfast We very much look forward to staying there again and highly recommend you give it a go Cheers!

Our stay was ok I will preface with that we only stayed 1 night and did not have time to use the lake We arrived around 10:00pm, maybe a little before

The office was shut down We had to call a ring doorbell to gain access to our room It might have said that somewhere when I booked, but I did not see it I was not looking for it though because I’ve never had someone not be there when checking in I understand that this is a small establishment, but it just felt odd It was also very difficult to hear what they were saying Plus all of the guests outside hear what room you are in if you use the ring It just didn’t feel like the best start Know that there is no food around so if you are coming in late, stop ahead of time We ate out of the vending machine for dinner which ending up working just fine The rooms are bare and to be honest, didn’t feel clean There were bugs everywhere in the bathroom, which I get We are right on a lake, but the towels had holes in them and we only had 2 big towels Under the bed was disgusting The curtains do not properly block out the light from the front porch There needs to be another shade This hotel worked for 1 night, but I probably would choose something else the next time I’m in the area The lake was gorgeous though That is the main selling point

the room was eautidul and clean All of the staff is extremely accommodating and friendly We felt welcome the entire time which made the stay super comfy

The boat rental was great as well The staff on the dock made sure to explain how to operate safely and even how to park it when we were done He was thorough polite and patient we will be back for sure! Thank you to all the staff

First time staying at the Lodge at Blue Lakes We always pass by this place every summer when we go to Fort Bragg We decided to stay the night and swim

The lake is beautiful The motel itself is over priced The motel lost power half way through our stay and operated on a generator At some point the generator was turned off the room was hot and we were left without water and a functioning toilet No reimbursement or future discount was offered I know some issues are out of the control of management but for the price we paid our stay was a very disappointing

Lake County Oasis! We had the best stay in the Garden Suite From the moment we walked through the beautiful courtyard to our suite we knew we had found someplace special We were blown away by the spacious open floor plan, with a fully equipped kitchen, living room and awesome decor

The whole place was just immaculate – felt brand new The bedroom was super quiet and the bed, linens and bathroom were great We had a friend staying in the other ground floor suite and we could both just open our doors to the courtyard in the morning and enjoy coffee together at the dining table under the trees with our pups roaming around safely in the fully enclosed area A great brewery, coffee shop/deli, and so many cute shops are literally within steps of the suite There’s also a charging station for electric vehicles which is great A totally awesome place to stay – you won’t find anything else like it – we can’t wait to return!

Always clean, comfortable and each suite is unique Stayed in the new downstairs unit this time It’s modern and brand new, sometimes you can hear footsteps over head but motels are far worse

The Loft upstairs is an older suite where we stayed last time and has a smaller bathroom yet it’s quiet, has a very large living room, and overlooks main street We enjoyed both options! GREAT HOSTS! Anything you need, Kathy will get it to you ASAP! Brian is always updating the property to make it comfy as possible Including the new courtyard It feels safe as well as cozy And as for the price, it’s the best deal for miles around, trust me, I shopped all around We relax indoors often, it doesn’t have the motel feel, its a comfy small HOME setting

I have been staying at Suites on Main during my frequent visits to Lake County over the last year I’ve stayed in all the suites except one, and have loved all of them The suites absolutely sparkle, and as I have had to travel by myself, I feel very safe and secure there

I love the peace and quiet of the back courtyard, and appreciate being able to see my vehicle from the windows from several of the different units I love these suites, and find them very comfortable I hope to stay at the suites for all of my future visits

Angie & Craig and family are amazing hosts!! The campgrounds are clean and well kept! I love that the whole area is private and gated so we always feel safe with our kiddos running around Their beach area and swimming area are perfect for the kids and the docks are where the kids love to catch lots and lots of fish! Most of the guests reserve the same weekend a year in advance so it was nice to see some of the same people we saw last year! This is only our second year going there, but look forward to many many more years!

Wonderful and small family friendly intimate resort Beautiful property and the owners are helpful, accommodating, and it really shows they take pride in running an ethical family owned small business They have done a great job! Highly recommend staying here

I stayed in their RV full hookup sites Gated Safe Right on the lake All the activities for summer fun are provided Fishing, paddling, volleyball, grilling! Perfect Pulling a trailer was a little scary on the road in but my friend was able to pull his 34’ 5th wheel here with no issues Must enter from the West side!

Old-fashioned glamping on the lakeside, where every cabin and yurt has a **fully equipped kitchen** and homey interiorsWe booked the resort for a group workshop, and have been impressed by how gracious and helpful Angie has beenNote: cell service is spotty, and WiFi limited capacity

(This may be a source of frustration or a dealbreaker for people tied to their devices with an umbilical cord 😆)
