I have stayed here before; 2 years agoThey have Breakfast Buffet 2 years ago there was fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, sausage, cereals, coffee, a self serve waffle station, yogurt, toast and more

This visit, they had prepackaged and warmed bagel sandwiches, waffles ready made, cereal, and coffee The coffee was seldom checked I tried to get coffee from an empty urnThe breakfast was not at all what I had expected from previous staysOtherwise, it was very nice

Shirley Patino

The staff, hotel and room itself were great Very nice hotel I am disappointed, however on the breakfast set up

It was was nothing but packaged items … boxed cereal, boxed oatmeal, packaged egg sandwiches etc our goal was to be able to eat a small breakfast before getting back on the road but are now inconvenienced with having to stop for a decent breakfast

Keith McCook

Friendly enough front desk, and a clean property, but lots of little things made our stay just ‘OK’ Not enough parking (had to park at building next door), below avg breakfast options (even considering COVID restrictions), and unusably slow WIFI Our room was clean, but showed signs of wear (paint chips, dented furniture)

Not up to Marriott standards

This hotel was fabulous! Plenty of parking, and the room was very clean and modern and included fluffy nice towels and little toiletries Had everything my daughter and i needed for her gymnastics event in the area We where greeted with very friendly staff when we arrived

The lobby, hallways and common areas where all very well kept We did jump in the pool and enjoyed it We also did eat the breakfast buffet, they do charge extra for the breakfast which we though came with the room but we paid it and where satisfied The server even went above and beyond and brought my daughter a bowl of strawberries because the buffet fruit bowl had run out and that’s all she was wanting Location was also nice, it’s close to enough fast food places to grab and go when running to the event and back We would definitely stay there again

Eden Rule

Rooms are typical for a hotel, the only staff member we experienced was nice They add odd amounts for deposits and incidentals so keep a close eye on your bill and charges I experienced this as well as others ahead of me in line discussing it at check in/check out

The worst part is it is very loud outside being as it is right off the freeway I’m usually not bothered by noise but between the loud cars driving by all night and the a/c system turning on and off every 10-15 minutes, this was a terrible place to stay if you want uninterrupted sleep Hope you are a heavy, heavy sleeper Sounded like a drag race going on as cars revved and sped past all night Had the a/c set as low as it would go because the room was very stuffy feeling, and I guess they have a timer set or the system is guarded because it would not stay on I’ve never had this happen Between the noise of the system shutting on and off and then the temperature getting stuffy, cool, stuffy, cool all night, I couldn’t sleep Overpriced to start with and then difficult to get any sleep made it worse Oh, and don’t even get me started on the sorry excuse for pillows Don’t waste your money here if you need to sleep and have an early morning or long drive the next day

Kerry Coleman

Shared management with the Marriott next door (huge conflict of interest)Been staying here for 3~ years now, same account same company card, no issuesManager needs more training himself, as well as better training the staff at the Marriott next doorThe guy at the front desk here was great, was on the ball “ya no worry just need to verify it now, but my manager has to do it”

Manager says no because I got upset when given the CONFIRMED WRONG info next doorWent to a different location, had no trouble getting verified and checked in, 3 years down the drain due to bad management

Honestly, my wife and I could not have been happier with our experience at Vintage Villas Sam, our coordinator along with Alex made sure we were on schedule and also kept our guests in checkThey constantly checked up on us and made sure we were properly hydrated (it was a hot day) by bringing us water

The venue was so easy to work with and Meghan made sure all the details were fleshed out We were also surprised by how good the food was! In addition, the venue was absolutely beautiful All of our guests were blown away by the views 10/10 stars!

Caroline Claunch

Vintage Villas was the perfect place for our wedding to happen! Samantha was an amazing coordinator for my mom and me to work with Everything went off without a hitch because of them Our wedding cake baker messed up the delivery date in their system, so we didn’t end up getting a cake delivered

Well Vintage Villas ran to HEB during our ceremony, bought a round cake and sheet cakes, and decorated them with our flowers It looked beautiful, we had a cake to cut, and the guests all said the cake was so good (but you can never go wrong with HEB 🙂 ) The guests also loved the venue and said it was the best food at a wedding they’ve ever had I would recommend this venue over and over to any couple or family wanting a stress free wedding/planning experience They are WONDERFUL The view drew me in, and the service sealed the deal

Nancy Marin-Rojas DDS

Overlooking Travis lake in Austin Gorgeous view and setting for Wedding Sunset was amazing

I stayed in room 209 The sheets reeked of chlorine It wasn’t noticable during the day, but at night, it made it hard to sleep

One of the elevators was not working I liked the plants in the lobby It made the place feel much more comfortable The breakfast was good The shower wasn’t working I tried to pull the little thingy on the water faucet but it didn’t work so instead I just used the bathroom sink The toilet paper was too far behind the toilet which made it hard to reach The electrical outlets are kinda iffy Sometimes they work, sometimes they don’tIf I ever come again, I’ll bring my own blankets and pillows I think it’s genuinely a good hotel It’s just got some design flaws

Rodney Rodriguez

The hotel is very clean and beautiful with great breakfast but there’s room for growth especially in the service areaAccording to one staff member you need to request your room to be served otherwise they won’t clean it even if the do not disturb sign is not displayed at the door That’s exactly what happened to us, but once we addressed the issue they brought us everything we needed and the front desk gave us some treats

Rich Carey

There is only 1 working elevator at this establishment, which made for a crowded elevator ride, both up and down A couple that I visited with said that the elevator had been down for one entire week, even though it’s clearly marked that the service for the elevator has been scheduled With the currently working elevator, it would make a nasty shimmy when stopping at the top floor, which made for a scary/uncertain experience which was troubling

Within the room that we stayed, there was a very disgusting spot on the curtains, the buttons on the telephone in the bedroom did not work properly, there was a crack in the bathroom sink, the television set in the bedroom only connected to audio and would not connect to see what was on the screen, and the microwave oven was filthy/dirty/nasty We then reached out to the front desk and were told that the maintenance individual had already left for the night When we called back, there was no one available to pick up the call We then went downstairs and saw the front desk person sitting in the atrium casually visiting with another hotel employee When we went downstairs, with pictures, we shared with the front desk personnel what we had seen/experienced in the room and magically the maintenance person was still on sight to go upstairs and review the problems that we had reported I felt that the staff was very nonchalant and was overall not very helpful Also, we had been upgraded to the premium suits, complete with snacks and beverages, but were not made aware that the snacks and beverages would only be available at the initial check-in, and might only be replenished if we stayed more than four nights, since the hotel policy is that any room service/housekeeping only happens after a four-night stay I realize that a lot of things have changed since Covid, back in March of 2020, but I hadn’t realized just how much has changed

Vanessa, that works front desk, is the sweetest, front desk, young lady I had the pleasure to meet and be checked in by in Austin, tx She informed me on so many things normally hotel staff fail to mention because I assume they feel it’s irrelevant But she’s very well trained and just makes your long rough day leave your stressed out thoughts

Gets you feeling right at home Her smile just makes her amazing customer service even more welcoming The rooms were very clean and comfy This is my first night and just had to share my experience If your on a trip in Austin and just want a relaxed and home like place to rest Hilton Garden Inn Austin/Round Rock is a MUST STAY AT PLACE I think a business and the 1st impression they make is always with the front desk and its very important She went above and beyond Hilton should be honored to have their Inn’s 1st impression represented by her And I know it may seem I’m over exaggerating a bit But if you have stayed at hotels with horrible front desk employees You really want to appreciate the ones who love their job and they show it the moment you walk in She even took the time to talk to my 5 year old daughter with cancer and help her feel all grown up by just acknowledging her and her little thoughts with conversation while she picked out snacks from their food and beverage display, that they have ,that is fully loaded with a great variety of items Thank you Vanessa keep up the great work Definitely have my 1st pick when I visit here in Austin

Allison “Allie” Gard – Class of 2021

Decent hotel Unfortunately when we went into our room the toilet was broken and would not flush, the front desk staff was polite though and had it fixed right away We were greeted by 2 cockroaches when we entered the room, and found another one later that night

The microwave was weak, and the shower pressure was lacking The overall cleanliness was fine, comfortable beds, but overall not the typically nice Hilton stay

Jorge rivera

They first impressions go a long way I was blown away by the presentation of this room I have the room for one night for a little staycation for my birthday and the room is worth every penny and then some!! The staff was very friendly, I forget her name but she was nothing short of amazing!!! This is my new favorite local hotel for a staycation…I love it!

A wonderful little resort The view is not one to write home about, as a development has completely blocked the view of Lake Travis, but the units are spacious and clean, and the bathrooms have been recently updatedBeds are comfortable, and the full kitchen makes for pleasant times enjoying both local foods and family cooked meals

There are a few places within 10 minutes of the resort, and downtown Austin is about a 45 minute drive away, so if a visit to the city is in your plans, this isn’t a bad optionThe pool is small, but a nice place to relax, and there are plenty of options for water sports from the sports and rec rental right next to the resort groundsOverall, wonderful place to relax for a week near Austin, and the only real downsides are the distance from activities (which for some may be an upside) and the view that no longer exists

Max Adventures

The wildlife abounds here From hundreds of friendly deer to to guinea fowl This spot is in a secluded area on a peninsula on Lake Travis

Therefore you don’t get the cross traffic which makes it very nice Everyone in this area is very friendly that’s a great place to take your kids With nearby Lago Vista there is a grocery store, barbecue, tacos, and a fast food place if you’re into that stuff However every room comes with its own kitchen I love the style of this place because it has that late seventies early eighties feel to it Very nostalgic feeling and I hope they never change it

So glad I found this hotel! I typically stay in The Domain when I travel to Austin for work but wanted to try somewhere new It’s always good to venture out! The staff were so friendly, the hotel was clean, and the rooms were big One thing I do wish they would have had (like some other Hyatt Place hotels I’ve stayed in) was a market

I went downstairs to grab some drinks but there was only a small selection Maybe the full market was in a section I didn’t venture to? Either way, it was still a great stay! And parking is free!

Zaira Maze

Hotel was nice and clean We weren’t informed of the need to request housekeeping services as needed The pool on Tuesday 6/7 was gritty and cloudy, when it was brought to the attention of the front desk

He said he didn’t have control of when maintenance cleaned the pool Breakfast was good with the exception of the turkey Canadian bacon and the oatmeal needed cooked longer, otherwise it was an 8 out of 10 It was near many stores and restaurants which was nice It also had a bar and food to order in the lobby

Elvin J. Ramirez

The location is great It’s a quiet area and feels very safe The breakfast is good

The hotel is close to shopping areas The rooms are clean and the staff in the hotel are very nice The outdoor pool is a little small but it’s great that they have one We checked in late on Wednesday night and Melissa greeted us with such a warm smile and that makes such a big difference when you arrive tired from the airport She helped us with a few things we needed for our room and although she was super just, she actually came to our door with the items we needed! That’s a first! Melissa went out of her way to help us…so professional but also so nice and polite We definitely look forward to coming to this Hyatt Hotel again

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking your hotel This web site will compare countless booking websites and typically will have rooms much cheaper than others! You’re welcome :)! This resort is the best rated in this area

I’ve been coming here for a long time If you stay for a few days you definitely will love it I’m sure! Our experience at Aloft Austin NW was a solid okay, decent, good, nice, enjoyable one! There’s not very much I can say negatively about the entire experience However, if the hot tub/pool is one of your prerequisites, don’t make my mistake and assume that they’ll be available During our 4 nights stay both the pool and hot tub were off limits, not for a good reason either; even though the pool and hot tub were in working order, all were denied access to the area because the lock on the door was broken(an easy fix that was obviously not a high priority) tough luck, s happens life goes onThe positives were a clean room and a quiet room The room service were super friendly and welcoming The reason I’m giving 5/5 and not 4/5 is because they refunded us an entire night due to the above mentioned discrepancyBe aware, if you’re expecting a luxurious experience this place might not be for you bit for the price we paid, the services were well up to expectations

Kimberly Cockrell

We really enjoyed our stay When we checked in Regina was extremely helpful I was traveling with my daughter and had been assigned a room right next to the bar

She was kindly gave us a quieter room Later she helped by giving us water and a forgotten toothbrushThe room was modern and comfortable I would highly recommend

Alyse Z

The location was good, near a lot of shopping I gave this a 3 star because for starters the hot tub was closed The pool is advertised as “heated” but it felt cold or at least my perception of heated was incorrect

The room was nice, kind of small, facing the interstate No noise, but when we got there the cable was not connected for some reason Then the bathroom door was hard to close/open I believe it was a handicap room so this would be def hard for someone who is handicapped to open and closeI tried to order some food from the app but was told it was not connected to the kitchen I didn’t know until I waited almost an hour and no service So I chatted down and was told we would have to order at the front deskThe mobile key didn’t seem to work for the pool I didn’t try for the fitness areaThe staff was nice, no complaints there, the main area was niceFor some reason on Saturday night there were a lot of kids roaming around They were running the hallways Not the hotel’s fault but still it did add to my experience thereI would probably come back again

The suite was amazing with a huge shower and bath and the bed was super comfy All our guests commented on how cool the Ruby was, great vibe and decor and beautiful location The food and drinks were great and the servers were all awesome, very accommodating

Heaven, the Sales & Events Manager, made event planning so easy and was always available to make sure everything went smoothly Can’t wait to stay again on our first anniversary and relive the experience!

I searched for a place with a great sunset view near me, and this did NOT disappoint! It’s tucked away from downtown in what feels like a residential area, and overlooking Bushy Creek I only went to the bar, which is cozy and classy, with a lovely patio outside It felt like walking into a private, welcoming club

The seats are well spaced for privacy, while still feeling part of the community The outside furniture was clean Yeah! The bartender was friendly, made a drink to my taste, and the salad was yummy, fresh, and had a generous portion of chickenI highly recommend!

Pam McClellan

What a gem in Round Rock, Texas! This is a quaint little place with a river view There is a small pool with shade and several outdoor sitting areas The restaurant/bar has both indoor and outdoor seating, a rather small menu with tasty choices and great drinks

You get either a blue room or a green room with comfy beds, a refrigerator, coffee pot and interesting decor Maid service was impeccable The bar closes at 9:00 and quiet hour begins at 10:00pm A great place for a getaway!

My girlfriend and I stayed in the White Cloud Suite for our anniversary, and it was one of the best 24 hours of our lives We felt at home immediately when we got there, and the room was beautiful and comforting We spent the afternoon at Travis Lake and woke up early to watch the sunrise through our windows, which had a gorgeous view of the lake

I could not have imagined something more perfect Thank you!!

When you walk through the gate you are amazed at the tranquility and breathtaking setting! Everywhere you look are trinkets and little gems that Cata has collected from her travels around the world The pool and hot tub are so relaxing and we loved the sound of the fountain that soothed our souls The room was extremely clean, super comfy bed, and also decorated perfectly! Everything you could ask for was provided, from the bath robes to the bug spray

We felt like we were all alone, however, when we came into contact with the staff and owners, they couldn’t have been more gracious We truly enjoyed our four days there and highly recommend!

Jennifer Calero

It was my first time using this establishment and the decor was nice Once in the rooms I found them to be spacious and neat The couch was too hard for my liking but that’s just my opinion

The restroom, beds, tables and kitchen area was clean I would suggest the housekeepers check the pull out bed under the couch because food from a previous guest was found but mistakes happen and I don’t hold it against them or the company The staff at the front desk was professional and nice I didn’t have the pleasure to meet any other staff I did not get the chance to try the breakfast downstairs so I have no comment on it I did notice the gym downstairs and the restrooms and they were both clean The view from my room was amazing I could see the pool and the lights it was beautiful to look at I wish I had more time to enjoy all the amenities they had to offer

Matthew Rogers

I’m sum it up like this great ambiance and atmosphere the decor pulls you in and there’s a lot to look at The service is top notch everything is well stocked the breakfast is better than average with a lot of healthy options The rooms are really set up well with wide entrances big closets cuz you never know

They have large TVS and even larger bathrooms and come equipped with those common amenities, hair dryer, etc The staff is more than eagerly willing to do and complete almost any requests made, also they’re very knowledgeable of the surrounding area when it comes to activities and local restaurants new and local favorites

Jeremy Cline

Well-appointed rooms and surprisingly good breakfast Stayed here for a work conference going on nearby Two strange things happened while I was there: (1) this hotel has a bar, but no one works it at night – what?! (2) A few of us were working in the lobby area and were asked to relocate to make room for a staff luncheon

How’s that for good ol’ Texas hospitality?

Our family with two kids stayed here over fourth of July We had a really great time! We stayed in the standard double suite which was great because we were away from the pool area which has a party atmosphere in the evening The kids loved the fires in the courtyard and the room was excellent

We enjoyed the fridge and snacks provided in the room and found the prices to be reasonable While you can eat on site there are food trucks around so we tried a lot of different places to eat They also had charging for our EV on site free of charge We did the three night stay and it was perfect
