I’m at the “hotel” right now and it’s 1:30 am We were put in a room right off the parking and the exit door There are people smoking and going in and out of the inn and talking in the parking lot and in the halls

We can’t sleep Worst place we have ever stayed I have stayed at Residence Inns all across the US and this by far is the worst one I thought the 24 hr gym was a bonus but nothing beats a good night’s sleep Would never recommend this place If you are looking for a safe and peaceful place to stay look elsewhere Definitely would not recommend this place to single females or even a group of women Doesn’t feel safe This is more like a motel We were supposed to stay 5 nights but will be taking our business elsewhere for the remainder of our business trip

We booked online and used the app to check in First time for that We don’t usually stay in hotels because have an RV

Using the app was very convenient We chose this hotel for the simple fact that my mother was having a heart procedure next door Her procedure started at 11am and check in is at 3 I went over and spoke with Ashley As a business owner myself I appreciate an employee that goes out of their way to help the customer Ashley was very friendly and presented herself well I asked her about possibly checking in earlier than 3pm She immediately found another vacant room that fit our criteria I was in the room within 10 minutes The room was clean, quiet and very comfortable The grounds are well kept The parking lot was being re-striped so about half was blocked When I checked in Ashley assured me parking wouldn’t be an issue Like clockwork the lot was finished just in time for the afternoon rush of people checking in We were very tiered and went straight to bed and slept like babies Highly recommended!

We booked our hotel through bookingcom for our anniversary weekend paid over 400$ for 2 might see get to the hotel at 8 pm after driving all day and the man at the desk informs us the hotel doesn’t have hot water and did not expect to have it the next day but STILL expected us to pay the 400$ uuuummmmmmm NO we cancelled our reservation tried to scramble to find a room at almost 10 pm we finally found a room anniversary about overwe asked y they didn’t call claim they had no number but it was magically on our reset hmmm we will never stay at this chain now bc it was a total lack of respect and total price gouge bc they knew other hotels in same block were all full but expected us to stay with no hot water pay regular rate they lost their ever loving minds

Update: I heard back from management of the Courtyard That helped make this less frustrating, but it didn’t result in getting my pillow back I still appreciate their effort, and it changed my opinion about the Courtyard

The representative let me know that she will be working with the location staff to improve their responsiveness and project a more caring attitude when someone loses a valuable itemOriginal Review was 2-star: Being a business owner who understands the importance of positive Google reviews, leaving a negative review is not what I wanted to doFor full transparency, the room was fine, and the Sunday 6/19/22 evening front desk representative was very friendly at check-in The lobby and hallway were fine, and everything worked I do agree with previous comments about the hotel needing a refreshThe problem was the apathetic and rude response of the 6/20 afternoon/evening front desk representative when my wife called to inquire about the very nice pillow that I left in the room when we left Obviously, it’s my fault that I left my pillow, so I’m not attempting to blame the hotel or the staff for my stupidity The call “dropped” three times during the conversation causing my wife to have to call back each time There was no concern or empathy on the part of the rep, and her claim to have checked with housekeeping and even checked the room herself seemed less than sincereWanting to give the hotel a chance to do a better job of convincing us that they cared at all, I encouraged my wife to stop by today on her way home because surely the rep wouldn’t be as rude in person as she was on the phone No such luck – she was at least as rude She said she had checked the room, but the tone of her voice and defensiveness about my wife stopping by didn’t give my wife much confidence that she had indeed checked the room or with housekeepingSo, if you choose this hotel for your stay while in West Little Rock, don’t leave anything in your room If you do, there’s a very good chance the person who answers the phone when you call to check on it won’t really give two hoots about whatever it is you left Again, I shouldn’t have left the pillow, but it would have been nice to think the staff gave a flip

DO NOT stay here! We exclusively stay at Marriott hotels & this was by far THE worst experience we’ve had Our room was filthy, the toilet was full to toilet paper & pee which could not be flushed There was a hand towel hanging in the bathroom with crusty blood, the air conditioner unit was broken

Our room was by the elevator which was on the loud side but in addition to the elevator noise it made a loud additional beeping sound each time it was used on any floor which was constant all night The fire alarm went off several times between 1am-2am then again from 7am-8am The hotel smelled like cigarettes & pot! Upon checkout I asked to speak to the manager, Crystal Thomas the general manager was finishing up with a guest who was complaining he was given the wrong room key & had a gun pulled on him after he entered the room I explained to Crystal my experience, she did comp our room because of the fire alarm going off all night but made sure to tell me I was lying about the condition of the room She stated she personally checks each of the rooms so it wasn’t possible I pulled out my phone to show her the pictures & videos She was rude & did not appear to care that our experience was miserable

I travel a lot and Courtyard by Marriott is my hotel of choice This hotel should not be affiliated with Marriott The rooms and hotel in general smell like roach spray

The dust ruffle on the bed has a huge stain on it The sofa bed was unusable as the sheets had yellow stains on it and the blanket was inside crumpled up , so it was obvious it had not been cleaned/changed Various signage throughout the hotel is either dented or broken For $185 this hotel doesn’t even offer complimentary coffee or breakfast The patio area was dirty as well I have never visited a Marriott hotel that doesn’t offer complimentary breakfast The only part of this hotel that was nice and resembled the Marriott was the lobby I will be escalating this bc this was absolutely despicable!!

Almost new facility, pleasant staff, clean and well cared for Walking distance (< a mile) to decent dining choices My only pet peeve was no real half and half as coffee additive

But there’s a Starbucks and Panera right across the street to satisfy the need for a good caffeine shot I would stay here again and certainly recommend to others

Stacy Boudreaux

The beds were very comfortable, the pictures of the place were a bit misleading the exercise room does not have any towels out for guests, I realized that after my workout, also I chose this location based on the POOL factor I realize that it’s seasonal in some places I got there and it was empty Big disappointment for my son

Maybe that could be noted on the website so someone else does not have to go through that

I checked in around 330 am & I chose the Hilton because historically I have had good experiences at this hotel chain This stay was lovely with a clean, quiet room and helpful staff The bed and pillows were comfortable, I melted into them! And the little touches like the extra water bottles and Keurig were really nice touches

I parked in their lot with no trouble and felt safe about leaving my car packed with all of my belongings there When I told them I was driving from the West Coast to the East Coast, the also offered me late checkout I had my service animal with me too— he was comfortable and welcomedI highly recommend this Hilton because of their customer service and the lovely space

Tim Tsai

Beautiful, clean, new rooms, very nice decor I always check under beds everything was up to our standards Area is also pretty good, didn’t feel shady

Grateful they allowed my dogProblems are that it’s popular, being this nice and reasonably priced, so there are a lot of people And they are loud And the doors aren’t the most sound-proofedThe beds were also on the softer side so the next morning my back and muscles were killing me I’d never had that experience before But now I know that’s what can happen to my back so I’ll ask for a firmer bed next time If that’s even an optionWould I come again? Absolutely I’ll just ask for a firmer bed and for the room to be further from the elevators

Jenny Robinson

I stay at Hiltons a lot for business and I compare them to each other This was one of the best stays I’ve ever had, ever If I could give this place 10 stars I would

Breakfast excellent Customer service absolutely on point Ameshia and Richard were so incredibly friendly to me I was there for five nights and we were friends by the time I left Parking excellent Location excellent sitting amidst some rolling hills right off the freeway Lots of green trees and beautiful grounds Didn’t use the pool Rooms updated and clean Bathroom clean and semi updated I have nothing bad to say about this place Not one single thing Will most definitely stay again when passing through

Absolutely beautiful! Modern, upscale, comfortable, quiet and friendly full service hotel and facilities The hotel is located in the heart of the city of Little Rock The location is perfect for business and events in the city

It is also attached to the convention center The lobby, common guest areas and my guestroom immaculate and decorated beautifully My guestroom was above average size for a hotel It included all the nice creature comforts and amenities you expect from Marriott The hotel staff associates were very nice and efficient The afternoon front desk registration staff were amazing when I checked in Not only did they provide excellent customer service, but answered many questions regarding restaurants near the hotel My stay was brief and I was unable to experience many of the hotel’s amenities However, I have no doubt all the hotel’s amenities and services are “top notch ” and consistent with the superb Marriott Brand My colleagues and I had fantastic, peaceful and enjoyable stay! I highly recommend this beautiful, friendly hotel!

Heidi Hemmat

This Marriott is really great and I especially enjoyed all the amenities The fitness center was nice and clean The rooms were spacious and clean

The staff was very nice and helpful The only downside was the on site restaurant that claims to be a steak place I got an over cooked 50 dollar rib eye, my employee got a really under cooked pork chop, which will give you food poisoning They tried to make it right but definitely failed Otherwise, the hotel was so nice and the people so friendly, I give it 5 stars

Nitron

I was pleased with this Marriott property, especially after a horrible experience at a Hilton Embassy Suites a few miles down the road The rooms are clean, updated, and modern The bathrooms are smaller than expected and the toilet is a little too close to the shower

those were the only things that were less than ideal Everything else was just fine I really appreciated the 24/7 M Lounge accomodations! The staff inside the lounge was very nice and attentive Overall, I enjoyed my stay

Excellent hotel, staff and service The location is perfect just a couple of minutes from the airport and they keep it very clean Our bedroom was pristine

Of all the “breakfast included” hotels where we have stayed, this is the one with the best breakfast ever They offer a variety of fresh chopped fruits, pancakes are already done, biscuits are good, just to mention a few items There’s plenty to choose fromThey have a very professional hostess that makes sure you have all what you need and brings to your table whatever you choose to drink (juices, water, etc)

Michael Lovely

The room and amenities were very good The housekeeping staff were excellent Breakfast seemed very understaffed

I ended up waiting a long time and was never seated I sat myself and had to ask people in the kitchen for silverware and drinks The shuttle driver was more than 20 minutes late and I was late for an appointment as a result Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful Conference services staff were excellent; very professional and helpful

Jeffrey Novak

Kind of run down for a 3 star hotel Just stayed in a 25 star competitor and was nicer

Furniture was in pretty rough shape in my room with the desk and a lamp in need of repair Linens were clean at least On their website it states “Pet Deposit per Stay: 50 USD” and does not mention that it is non-refundable so just say it’s a $50 fee and not a “deposit” Seems like a money grab We’ll see who my CC company agrees with as I’ll dispute the charge showing their website does not mention the deposit was non-refundable

I’m a little surprised this hotel does not have a higher rating as our stay was excellent in every aspect We actually stayed here on way up to Chicago and were so impressed we stayed again on the way back Room was clean and the view was great

Staff (Mark) was helpful and friendly Breakfast was amazing and the staff there super friendly alsoIf I’m ever in Little Rock, AR again would definitely stay at this hotel Definite 5-star experience

Lizzy Boo

I liked the 2-story suite I stayed in It’s obvious that it was at one point two separate normal sized rooms which was converted into an upstairs-downstairs suite That’s not a complaint, by the way

I’m actually intrigued The upstairs bathroom had what looked like a jetted tub I didn’t use it to confirmOverall, the suite was neat and clean, with all expected amenities and no real issues My only complaint would be the soap dispensers on the shower walls The upstairs’ body wash dispenser didn’t produce any soap even though it was full Guess it was clogged or somethingAnyway, it was a comfortable stay and I’ll stay again if the stars align

Timothy McCollum

First, the breakfast (except the pineapple) was edible at best Hard and cold biscuits and gravy, bacon crumbles (for bacon), powdered eggs, and the potatoes were tasteless and coldNight one our AC unit soaked the carpet because the drain was blocked

We were told someone would be up to repair it We left the hotel and 7 hours later not a soul has shown up Called the front desk, the manager says “ I just got here and don’t know anything about it “ Someone did however show up this time It could not be repaired and we had to pack up everything and move to a smaller roomLast but not least, the pool From a distance it looks nice When you get closer, the water is cloudy, filthy with trash, and the sides are coming apart We actually tried one afternoon to enjoy the pool We were there about 30 minutes before no less than 30-35 kids show up all within 15 minutes of each other They were loud, rude, inconsiderate (slashing water all over people laying out ) It was pretty obvious these individuals just showed up without parents and weren’t staying at the pool The few people who were there before also left like we didLastly, the pool closes at 10pm There was yelling, screaming, partying in the pool way past that and it was very difficult to sleep I did ask the front desk to enforce the hours She said she would send security down Needless to say, it took another phone call and time to get it enforced so we could actually sleepThe staff overall were nice I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone It’s a wannabe Marriott in disguise as a motel 6

Solid 4 stars, close to everything, in a relatively safe tucked away spot just off the 630 on-ramp They supported early check in and late checkout but not last noonToiletries were average, for 100 a night after taxes I expected better shampoo and body wash

Small TV and kitchenette including sink and refrigerator No odd smells, AC blew cold Staff was warm and pleasant

I wanted to share my positive experience as a guest here at Guest Inn & Suites I made a last minute reservation and spent a few days hereI couldn’t have been happier with the positive attitudes and good vibes the staff had

I think I had interactions with most of the front desk crew during my stay I was having an emotional night and Ashley really made my night and my entire stay I wanted to say thank you to you both!! I still have my hugsThe rooms were very clean, no problems there at all Fresh linens and extra pillows that were amazingThe breakfast bar was spit on Great varieties of breakfast foods and beverages The little convenient food bar in the office was very beneficial tooOverall it was a brilliant place to stay with excellent staff I would definitely recommend staying here, especially if you are having to travel in from out of town to visit St Vincent’s Hospital It is located on the hospital’s campus It’s not the biggest hotel so book a little in advanceThank You to all the staff I needed a little vaca from everyday life and you all were incredibly amazing- Sarah K

Susan Cardwell

The room was really old and run down looking The beds were terrible, you automatically rolled to the center I have to give the staff 5 stars, they were really nice

But, I think it is too expensive for what it is The breakfast was almost nonexistent A muffin or bagel and coffee isn’t even much of a continental I won’t stay there again

My stay at this hotel was fantastic! Room was clean and spacious with modern fixtures and feel, service was fantastic, and check-in and check-out were a breeze The kitchenette and large fridge was a nice bonus for heating up leftovers and keeping some extra drinks cold My room also had a nice rollout work desk and a couch/sitting area which were super convenient for getting extra work done

On top of the quality of the rooms and the facilities, the service was flawless Front desk was attended all hours, and they helped me solve an internet issue in my room, issued me a new room key in 30 seconds when I locked myself out of my room, and had complimentary snacks and drinks at all hours in the front lobby Being able to grab a few snacks and some cold bottles of water or Red Bulls made traveling that much easierAll in all, a fantastic stay for a great price, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here or recommend it to others

H2S is my hotel of choice in Little Rock The rooms and service are consistently excellent This trip I received exceptional service from Tywana

She helped me get the desired room for an early check in She was a consummate professional with a great personal manner She helped me arrange for an extended departure due to a late flight She is a five-star associate! Thank you Tywana!

I’m trying to get them to honor their satisfaction guarantee policy since July 24th They act like the only issue was the citywide power outage which was not the case at all there were several other issues that nobody wishes to address nor does anybody want to stand by their policy I did book through Expedia but Expedia is not all for the guarantee

Comfortable, kid-friendly stay! We stopped in for one night on our way to our vacation destination and had a great experience! We watched the fireworks from the rooftop pool and made such a fun memory! Breakfast was good with plenty of options for everyone in our group of 8 + 1 pet Staff was kind, informative, and quick to respond to any need we had Easy to access from the highway

Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean but it did seem like the shared areas were not quite as tidy Granted it was a holiday weekend, it really didn’t bother us at all We enjoyed our stay! I also noticed a great little gym with cardio & cable machines It was a rest day for me so I didn’t utilize the equipment but it was a nice setup Overall, we felt it was a great value!

Clean huge room Accommodated my family of 6 with plenty of room to move around The whole hotel was clean and smelled amazing

Beds were super comfortable The pool was nice and warm and was neat to be able to swim on the third floor Staff was amazing and super helpful One of the best hotel visits in a long time Breakfast was also wonderful and fresh

Sheila Y

Hotel is nice and clean Super friendly staff and they have a shuttle to take you to venues The only reason 3 stars on location was due to the massive road construction being done right there

Made getting into the hotel difficult and also difficulty finding local places to eat So, we ended up door dashing food to us at the hotel Cleaning staff was super nice, too!

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary The hotel is absolutely beautiful! Every staff member we encountered was polite and helpful Mr

Steven at the front desk was so friendly and answered any questions we had Jacob with the valet team was super helpful and friendly as well, he made sure we knew where we were going and offered helpful advice and when we could find a ride to the concert we were attending, he immediately solved our issue by phoning a ride for us and even offered to pick us up All the staff at the Capital hotel seemed willing to do whatever to make your visit a great experience

Ann Thompson

What a fabulous experience We were greeted by well-dressed, polite, helpful valet drivers At check in the host, Matt was personable, kind, genuine, and gave us a chuckle

Our rooms were perfect temp The spaciousness and grandure of this hotel was like stepping back into a royal time Quiet atmosphere and beauty at every detail Wonderful breakfast at the One-Eleven in-house restaurant Would highly recommend to all guests in the area

Athena Navarro Hinkhouse

We have stayed at the Capital for years, several weekends a year, because our kids attend camp and retreats in Arkansas and we drive them from Dallas We used to LOVE the hotel and would never dream of staying anywhere else However, the last two stays were incredibly disappointing

The first time I blamed low staff due to Covid The second time, I wrote a letter to the General Manager and didn’t hear back They no longer had van service to take us to dinner and pick us up Meanwhile, we had driven 6 hours in the rain and Uber wasn’t available for 30 minutes We always enjoyed having interesting flavored water and iced tea in the lobby, that was also gone We weren’t offered bell service When I asked for it, I was told “It will probably be faster to run it up yourself” We always loved the breakfast before checking out The restaurant was closed for breakfast on Sunday The icing on the cake was when we saw the hotel driver the following night, he told us he was available to take us to dinner The valet told him to go ask the manager We saw her nod her head “no” The last time we were in town we stayed across the street We decided to go to the Capital for a drink after dinner because they always had our favorite wines by the glass Well, they had changed the wine list and basically told us the bar was closing at 10:30 It was 10:15 on a Saturday night So, yeahthe new corporate ownership has ran the place down and all the personal touches we missed, are actually gone Thankfully, they still have the wonderful staff It’s quite heartbreaking actually

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone The Hilton customer service agent canceled our room without asking if that’s what I wanted, I immediately told them I did not want the room canceled but was calling to ask about further accommodations that could be made she said she immediately tried to get the reservation reinstated but was unable to do so and our only option was to rebook the exact same room (that was prepaid for weeks ago) and pay $100 more This was at 10pm and after driving 6+ hours with young kids we were exhausted and decided to do this because the hotel staff and Hilton customer service were no help at all

That very next morning while coming down the elevator my family got stuck Neither the alarm or 9-1-1 button in the elevator worked When trying to call the front desk repeatedly we got no answer and had to call 9-1-1 to get us out Even after that I received no apology from the staff or manager The pool was closed the entire stay which was very disappointing for our children The card reader for the elevator was broken and you had to swipe 10-20 times before getting it to open when asking the staff for help they said this hotel is just old that’s the way it is Take a ride to the 8th floor and you’ll see the electric room for the elevators with fans blowing We were later told it frequently overheats Makes me feel very safe The card reader for the door coming in through the back from the parking garage was also broken and you had to go in through a door in the fire pit area Very inconvenient bringing things in and out We asked the front desk for towels, they said we’d have to come get them ourselves because they can’t leave yet we witnessed the staff out front of the hotel smokingmultiple times with no one tending to desk We needed to do laundry and took cash to the front desk to ask for change, they told us they can’t give out change Absolutely terrible customer service The staff was rude and did nothing to try and help any of the situations listed above I wouldn’t stay here again if I was paid to do so

Justin Rodgers

The staff was super helpful and very welcoming However, the hotel has several things that show it hasn’t been kept up too well For example, the keycards almost never work on the first 1-5 tries and the elevator sounds like it’s about to break down at any moment

We enjoyed the location It was nice being within walking distance of the coffee shops and restaurants The pool was open and clean, and the breakfast was alright I would give it 5 stars if it weren’t for the keycards and elevator and if they offered free parking

Wynter Osminski

Good location and price, but that is the only thing I liked about this hotel This hotel needs a face lift for sure There were stains all over the carpet in my room, I had issues with the wifi and my key card deactivated every time I returned to the hotel (3 times in 2 days)

I cannot recommend this hotel and will stay somewhere else on my next visit

It has been a very long time since I have experienced staying at a Hotel with a clean room And having staff that is very courteous and seems to enjoy what they do The breakfast buffet was Awesome

I feel other Hotels is just raking in the money And not caring about the cleanliness and upkeep of the Hotel But I felt that I got my money’s worth here And can’t wait to stay here again Thank you for having a wonderful group of employees

Taylor Sergent

This hotel is very nice Rooms are spacious and clean The employees are very nice

I had a incident that happened while we were there and the man at the front desk was super helpful and accomidating Check-in & out were super smooth and quick The only complaint I had was the breakfast wasn’t to great and the housekeeping had mopped the floor by the lobby Bathrooms and I had no idea and about slipped because they were so wet and no wet floor sign Otherwise this is a very welcoming and comfortable place to stay in Little Rock! We will be back! Also, there’s lots of stores and places to eat near by! 🙂

Lisa Garcia

A really great hotel, with lots of accommodations; in a good area and one I definitely would stay at again The room rates were comparable to other hotels The entire place gave me that “welcoming” feeling, Customer service was exceptional, the room was clean, like new The bed and pillowswere…

let’s just say I don’t remember falling asleep and I didn’t want to get out of bed this morning So comfortable! The only negative was there elevators were so slow! But the stairs were great!!!

I’ve seen the bad reviews but this was not the case with my stay The room was very comfortable I’m assuming they fix the bug issue

The lady at the front desk was very nice on Monday Aug/15/22 She greeted us and had a smile The room was very clean and I liked that it had a large fridge and sink Only issues I had was the bathroom door had no handle Also the ELEVATOR CERTIFICATION has been expired since June of 2021 I didn’t mind it but I’m sure that is a huge deal when it comes to safety and certifications for a proper working elevator Also this hotel does not have a pool which is a bummer

Graham Blacker

Ok here goes DO NOT STAY HERE! My wife was woken at 1am having been bitten by bed bugs, there were loads of them, I quickly went to reception and he moved us straight away although we couldn’t sleep after this and my wife couldn’t even get in another bed here, we left around 6:30 am just to get away from the place We feel we should have a refund, but not a chance

In case you’re interested it was room 117 This was early June ‘22 and 3 weeks later my wife still has the marks on her

Stay away from this Hotel You been warned!First my front door lock was not working Put the door key in, green light comes in, push the handle to open the door, door won’t open

You literally have to try 15-20 times before you can open the lock Notified manager nothing was done Restroom comode is continuing leaking water and flushing by itself ever 3-5 minutes making lot of noises AC thermostat control don’t work, it’s go to cold than you turn of the AC Than it go hot than you turn on the AC again You have to play with AC every 1-2 hours Coffee maker is to old that button marks are gone, you can read which one is power button Comforter have Cigretts holes and dirty Behind the bed dust everywhere Carpet is filthy and too old I was coughing whole time due to carpet dust Spider web in the room and at window I paid $236 for IHG hotel and I was not expecting this

Very clean Rooms are small and a bit dated (no fridge or microwave) The view on the river side is outstanding! The Robinson Performance Hall is adjoining, so perfect place to stay for any events there

Easy walk to many dining choices Ice machines were all turned off, but found a small ice/water dispenser (and a microwave) in the tiny market next to the front desk

Sam Wren

For a place to stay overnight I cannot recommend this hotel The view was nice, the a/c was cold I was on a road trip passing through

I let my daughter pick the hotel and she wanted one that had lots of good reviews, like this one I will cut to the chase Breakfast is offered $16/adult $11/child Parking fee $12/12-hours or $15 through the hotel where you can come and go The beds were eh maybe 2/5 Pool does close at 9pm Getting in and out of the hotel, it’s downtown For the price point I would not recommend unless you plan on actually staying maybe There is a deposit of $50 Staff were okay, but I tried not to ask for anything If you are passing through, look elsewhere

Clem Mich

This hotel is average a best and has low value for the cost At $170 per night plus $15 for parking is high for a hotel that doesn’t provide towels, doesn’t empty trash, etc, for a four day stay I asked for a 2 hour late checkout that was denied

I would recommend searching for other hotels that provide any time of customer service I get that there are pandemic impacts, but the price needs to reflect zero services
