The room was good, the staff was friendly the breakfast was above average and had many choices My only complaint was the aggressive manner in which they try to force you out of your room in the morning We attended a wedding nearby and obviously wanted to sleep in a little

The cleaning staff used a card key to enter my room at 8am after a quick knock and we were in bed Thankfully I had locked the safety latch and then we went to have breakfast around 9am and the staff was waiting outside of our room and asked are we leaving?? We replied no we are going to get breakfast and then put the do not disturb sign on the door out of fear of being evicted from the room This was just unnecessary in my opinion Check in for the next guests is not till 3pm This should not be my inconvenience to even think about the logistics of how they will clean all of the rooms in time, meanwhile 11-3 all rooms are vacant I would not stay here again unless I had to I believe that this hotel could do a little better even though they probably get by with the steady stream of business from local vineyards and wedding venues

It is gone downhill since last year we stayed there One of there elevators wasn’t working upon checking in, we realize that we didn’t have any blackout curtains in out room We notified the front desk and they said they would send maintenance in the next morning

I had to call again that next day to make sure that someone was going to come before they left for the day Maintenance had to hang something to black out the room for night time but then we weren’t able to have any natural light for 6 daysThe curtains weren’t working at all in our room Went down to the front desk one morning and to get some extra towels they said they would have housekeeping bring them up to us and they never did had to go back down again, and we had only use housekeeping one time the whole stay Breakfast was good but you have to get down there early Pool was nice! Customer service wise, the girls were great however there was an on duty manager that you could tell hates his job (Manager On DutyNathaly Joya) Husband had a not so good interaction with him Wouldn’t pay that much to stay there again going to stay at one of the other hotels in town the next time we come

First night was great! Quiet hotel and great breakfast Saturday morning! Saturday night wasn’t so pleasant, Girls Dance Team or whatever checked in and it was incredibly noisy and loud then They were running up and down the hallway screaming and just acting like it was a playground Didn’t get any sleep and Was hoping to enjoy breakfast but again the girls dance team ruined that as well

Great place Beautiful setting with lots of great views Amazing sunlight

Cozy rooms It’s like a maze with many little rooms to discover Bathrooms are shared but there are so many bathrooms that we never had any issuesThis place is a true gem

I haven’t been to the Belvedere in 40 years Not much has changedI had never stayed in the Water Room before, which included a King Size bed, which consisted of 2 twin beds joined together!A hard lump in the middle and one bed higher than the other didn’t leave much room for romance or a good nights sleep for that matter

A chair to sit in would have been a good addition as well We won’t be back

Evan Lacon

The place needs a little attention and a good cleaningThe staff is not very friendlythe young guys have a lot of attitude and the older people that work in the office seemed a bit tired of the whole thingthe pool is much smaller than it looks online and the cushions on the chairs around the pool are so worn out you might as well be laying on the hard chairs themselvesI did like the Shady seating area

Honestly, I can’t describe in our words how amazing our wedding at the Quogue Club was Zachary and the entire staff were outstanding They blew my expectations out of the water

I feel incredibly lucky My family and i will never forget the food and drinks, the beauty of the venue but above all- the service Our guests said it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to

Marie Sorbera

A stunningly beautiful club offering up great service and delicious food Most amazing was the very interesting dessert which featured a cornbread textured style square vanilla cake topped off with vanilla Gelato garnished with virgin olive oil and salt I think I have the ingredients right

We were a table of 10 eating a price fixed luncheon with this soecifw choice of dessert All of us balked but we decided to try it and found ourselves eating the entire dessert and found it to be absolutely delightful Truly an amaxing treat

45 stars – We stayed at the Preston House for our wedding weekend and had a very positive experience from start to finish The hotel is beautiful, immaculately clean, well-appointed and well-located

Parking was easy and free All of the hotel staff, especially Alberto and Rose, were so kind, helpful, and professional We had to check out early unexpectedly and Alberto was an amazing and helpful resource We will definitely come back and enthusiastically recommend this hotel and restaurantWe also hosted our Wedding Rehearsal Dinner at the hotel restaurant The food was delicious and we and our guests were very happy and well-fed I will say that planning the dinner was challenging–it took numerous calls and emails to get a response about booking the event Be wary about booking events around the change of seasons We had chosen items from the Winter Menu that we then learned were all unavailable because the chef had changed to the Spring Menu without informing the manager who was coordinating with us This was a frustrating situation that could have easily been avoided with better communication among staff and between staff and guests Everything worked out just fine, but there was room for improvement in this regard

Racquel W

The customer service is top-notch! We were stranded in Long Island after or BNB was cancelled and thankfully this hotel had a cancellation and we were able to stay here The service is phenomenal as the hostesses provided accommodations for everything we needed-from the room, to breakfast and even providing late-checkout-this is a place I’d recommend to anyone Thank you for your accommodating and treating us with exceptional customer service

We stayed in The Preston House & Hotel for two nights before flying back to Germany after traveling the US for two weeksWe had a suite for two adults and two teenage kids The rooms were very spacious, very clean and furnished to a very high standard

Great location! Hotel was clean, the pools were great and I loved the outdoor lounge areas Rooms were clean Used the couch pull out bed and called the front desk for linens

They said that they had to check if they had any linens left for us to use The room description said that linens would be in the closet but they were not there Would’ve been upset if they did not have any linens for us to use but luckily they did Breakfast was good

Robin Lamb

We stayed at the Marriott with our 2 small dogs last night We came to the area to visit our child who is away at college The hotel was perfect! It was very clean

Even though the place was sold out, it didn’t feel crowded or loud We were able to get breakfast without difficulty It was very reasonably priced There are lots of food options nearby The only thing that would make this pet-friendly hotel better would be a gated dog walk area, since the hotel is located on a busy highway Overall, we look forward to staying here again the next time we visit our child

Ricky Long

We enjoyed our stay very much! Staff was courteous, and rooms were clean Abundance of parking The complimentary buffet was top notch

There were to-go boxes ready for guests to eat in their rooms Hot food was individually packaged and constantly topped off by the staff Can’t say enough good things about how clean and well run the breakfast buffet was This Residence Inn is right next to the Tanger Outlet However, in order to get to the outlets, we drove down the road, and then back around We would have walked it, but there’s not direct path across Old Country Road It’s very close to Lavender by the Bay and Windy Acre Farm We definitely would recommend Thank you for making our first overnight stay with our babies as smooth as it could have gone Will be back!

We booked a block of rooms with this hotel for our wedding weekend on the North Fork of Long Island We worked with Suzanne Lincoln who was SO incredibly helpful in arranging the block, sharing information, answering questions, and assisting with last-minute requests All our guests were very happy with their stays and it was nice to be able to gather with other guests in the spacious lobby, at the bar, and over breakfast

We would absolutely recommend this property for groups or for family travelers One thing that could be improved is the layout of the rooms There was no closet (which for a wedding with lots of things to hang was challenging) and the room arrangement was a little strange Also, we were staying off-season and it was very hard to find food, coffee, lunch within walking distance of the hotel The hotel restaurants are either not open off-season or are closed from Monday-Wednesday which is when we were there There are very limited take-out/delivery options in Riverhead You would need to drive to get food, which might not be ideal for everyone But, honestly, all the staff at the Hyatt were amazing and so great to work with They were patient and helpful and we would definitely return and recommend it to others

We had an amazing long weekend! We were married at the bath and tennis in 2001 and hadn’t been back since! Everything has been newly renovated and you can’t beat the location! The beach was so nice with great service setting up our lounge chairs and umbrellas We also enjoyed the cocktails at the tiki bar! We had the ocean front room, we had our own deck with lounge chairs and a table which was perfect to relax in the morning and at the end of the day! We will definitely be back!

I stayed here last month for a wedding and could not be more disappointed in the behavior of the staff—specifically the front desk attendants and another man who I believe was the catering manager They repeatedly and LOUDLY talked about my group and I behind our backs in the hotel lobby all because we asked about the possibility of an early check-in If you had traveled out of state, took an early train, arrived within 3 hrs of the start of the ceremony, and had nowhere to get ready, wouldn’t you inquire about any available rooms as well? They acted as if it was the most absurd request they’d ever heard and then proceeded to mock and insult us after we left all while one individual from my group was in the business center within earshot of every word they said

The catering manager was the nastiest, he was extremely loud and borderline misogynistic towards my all-female group I couldn’t believe someone in the hospitality industry would openly disrespect their guests in a public lobby like he did (Later, at the reception, he constantly avoided eye contact with me and my group—it was so funny) As soon as they realized the person from my group had heard everything they said, they overcompensated by being overly nice, eventually allowing us into our rooms early, and even complimenting our outfits It was completely transparent but honestly kind of hilariousWhile I am grateful they allowed us to get ready for the wedding in their public restroom, I will not forget how uncomfortable their hostile attitudes made me feel I wouldn’t stay here again; the rooms aren’t even that great—definitely not good enough to warrant that kind of attitude among the staff

John Barrow

The room has been redone recently Looked great before, looks amazing now! The catering manager (or maitre d), William, has an excellent eye for detail Took great care of our clients

The staff is professional and friendly and made sure the guests were well tended to As an entertainer at this venue, I highly recommend it to brides and grooms seeking a wedding venue

Absolutely 10 out 5 stars, this place was so great and made my wedding day so special We got married May of 2021 and had originally planned our wedding upstate shortly after getting engaged in 2018 then covid hit in 2020 and 5 months before our wedding our venue canceled We understood that due to covid they had to so we got our deposit back and began our search for a new venue

We came across The East Wind and they were so kind and helpful and we were even able to keep our original wedding date We had a small wedding of about 45 people and they made the day so great and the space was so beautiful Luis our event manager was fantastic and made sure everything went according to plan and that we had everything we needed I would recommend this venue to anyone and everyone Thank you East Wind for making my day so special

Cassandra Ambrosius

The wedding venue was incredible! The food was great, the staff was amazing and the space itself was gorgeous But the hotel is another story The rooms are outdated – pealing wallpaper, cracked sinks, no refrigerator in the room, no fitted sheets

Then the fire alarm went off at 7 am and the hot water had to be turned off The rooms need a makeover

Evelyn Boileau

The staff, our MaitreD Reid was amazing, my bridal assistant was wonderful The food was amazing Our wedding was beautiful

Everything turn out really great As a bride I was well taken care ofWould highly recommend East Wind as a venue for wedding or any event or celebration that you may panningA very special Thank you to Scott who started with us from the very begining Phenomenal service

Lovely Grounds especially enjoyed the little heated garden room while room was being cleaned Light music playing through the day and night Isabella is a Darling and Javier is running a superb place You can’t help but feel relaxed and invited from the moment you check in Rooms are immaculate The housekeeping deserves to be recognized they do a great job and are always smiling so tipping is suggested Our winter stay was extended a day due to how much we enjoyed our stay Restaurants and sunsets picnic baskets are a great touch

Lucinda Rampath

Beautiful spot with access to a private beach that is so calm and relaxing , you feel as if you are in another place (not long island) Staff was very lovely

the property is very well kept and clean The rooms are very comfy with flat screen tvs, king beds, and access to a patio with a personal hot tub Wonderful place to stay after a day of wine tasting Hit the beach right after and just relax They have paddle boards and kayaks for guest use as wellSomething to notethe vibe is a very quiet, low key kind of place I felt as if we were being disruptive by playing some music from our phone while on the beach Wanted to play a couple of beach games, but after reading the atmosphere, we decided not to Not a bad thing, but it is worth keeping in mind if you were interested in a more upbeat type of pace

Tionna P

What an amazing experience! Aqua is a beautiful boutique hotel, that makes you feel like family I enjoyed the privacy, attention to detail and communication from the staff The jacuzzi and bed were fantastic

A delightful picnic basket is delivered to your room in the morning for breakfast If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway close to home this is the place!!

We just checked in and have always enjoyed our stay here over the years We have come for quick getaways, had parties here with our family and friends and enjoyed the restaurant and club The rooms have always been perfect and the staff wonderful

Until today We booked a specific room because we are traveling with five people 2 beds and a pull out When I arrived I notice one of the papers said $239 but I didn’t think anything of it because I thought to myself the A balance would be taken care of on check out We get to the room and it’s the wrong room Not the room we paid for I go back to the desk and the attendant says “ well yea we ran out of rooms and my manager just left and gave you a discount” no phone call at any point to tell me this as we came from four hours away So I explain this won’t work We need the room we paid for I asked to speak to the manager and she goes in the back and says “ he said he won’t talk to you he is off now, not much more I can do we are sold out, we can make up the sofa” Meanwhile the sofa sleeper was for the two kids so we are still short a bed Terrible customer service and communication! So disappointed

Patricia Bugland

I was at Danford’s for a Sunday Brunch, not a weekend stay The place is so very pretty! Service was great My friends and I were seated at a lovely spot facing the water and enjoyed the fine food in a lovely setting on a gorgeous day

We were all sorry that the pandemic kept us from a return visit for so long, relieved that it survived I hope to be back this summer!

Matthew Repecki

Rooms are in pretty rough shape even after renovation, do not get a street view room if u want to sleep as it is obnoxiously loud Front desk staff is nice but can do little to help other than offer a 20 percent discount Not really worth the price of the rooms at all, is similar to a 2 star hotel

Nice area and views though once you leave the room

Was rather satisfied with my stay at this establishment Check in was smooth, pretty decent parking lot, decent food choices within walking distance Room was clean, water pressure was instant and hot (no lag time)

Ample room for my computer and other items I brought with me (suitcase) Beds were a little hard, but nothing terrible It appeared they had a wide fresh variety of breakfast, however, I opted for the Starbucks next door Overall, if I am ever out this way I would stay here again

Cassidy Clark

A really nice hotel the staff is just awesome unlike any hotel I’ve ever stayed at n I travel for a living this place has a full nice breakfast every morning an ATM in the lobby a laundry room & spacious rooms wit space between the bathroom and the bedroom for more privacy the rates r lower than the run down hotels where some of my coworkers r staying I would definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends

S Hsieh

The room I stayed in (Room #200) for 1 night had soaked carpet from either a rain storm or leaking air conditioner The room also smelled which was probably mold I checked in late at 9pm and had unpacked so it was too late to ask for another room (stayed 1 night only)

Anyway, Comfort Inn should not be giving flooded, moldy rooms to customers and charging them $150 per night Also, the fitness center had damaged equipment in which customers could potentially injure themselves

We are former Sayville residents, as we grew up here We have been booking monthly stays here for the past several years Our recent July stay in room 10 was again awesome

Patty and the ladies that work there go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible The room is clean and whatever extras you need, they are happy to oblige It’s convenient to all as you have the Great South Bay directly across the street, Sayville Beach is across the street, the ferries are around the corner, and local Main St Sayville dining is just a mere 5-minute drive through the back streets of south Sayville So it’s in a great location The stay is affordable as well Call Patty up and book a room To us, it’s like staying at a Montauk motel You won’t go wrongThanks again Patty for making our vacation awesome!

Kelli Cobuzio

Very convenient place to stay after a wedding Room was clean and spacious The bed was a little too firm and it could have used more pillows which we would have asked for if the office was still open when we got there

But otherwise, we were very impressed The staff called me the day of to confirm we were doing a late checkin and that are key would be in our room I would have given 5 stars if the beds were more comfortable Overall very nice place

Nice, spacious, comfortable rooms with nice amenities Loved the separate work / sitting area that is separated from the bedroom Also liked that the toilet was separate from the bathroom

Beds and pillows were comfy and soft…made for a good night’s rest Front desk staff was super friendly and welcoming Breakfast was great and breakfast staff were very kind and friendly too Overall a great stay…highly recommended!!!

Sarah Young

I had an amazing time here at Springhill! The staff is amazing especially Tom from the front desk! But everyone was super nice and Friendly The rooms are cleaned everyday (Unless you don’t want) plenty of parking

Breakfast is basic but hot and delicious I would recommend everyone to stay here The only disappointment was that the pool was closed due to construction

Valentino Tartamella

The rooms are nice and clean, as one would expect, and the hotel features a tiny pool and fitness area for hotel members The complimentary breakfast is more casual; there is little hot food, one waffle maker, some pastries, coffee, and juice You have everything you need to have a nice stay, and the staff here are very friendly, but the reason for my low review is you’re paying premium prices for an average experience

Wait for some discounts to come and then reserve a night here

I chose this hotel because they advertise an airport shuttle, which they do not have in service Therefore, I had to spend nearly $50 for an Uber Additionally, I had an early flight

The checking person told me there would be a few breakfast items to grab on my way out However, there was nothing, not even coffee available with no one in sight at the front desk The room at least was very nice and clean

This place has really gone downhill Sofas and chairs are ancient and sag to a point of being unusable The counters are wiped clean but it it is clear from the grease on cupboards that others have been cooking there

Air conditioner is so noisy you can’t sleep No hot water one night The staff is friendly and helpful but clearly the place is not taken care of

On 3/26/2022 I stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn in Holtsville, NY Before arrival my sister called and spoke with Gio Guilfucci to request a credit authorization form so she could put her credit card down as payment for my stay Gio was so friendly and provided very prompt service, when I arrived I was greeted with a smile and the whole check in process was such a pleasure

I felt very welcomed and attended to, I would definitely recommend this hotel just on the customer service alone I look forward to booking again 😊 Thank you again Gio and Marriott for the wonderful stay!!!

Just did five nights and couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay Friendly service, clean, comfortable rooms (esp the beds) and a chill vibe They have pleasant, mellow live music in the evenings (maybe only weekends), a nice pool and a tasty free breakfast

Location is great for exploring the north and south forks of long island Plenty of good restaurants in the immediate area, although the restaurant on site is quite good This is our third stay and we’re already looking forward to coming back next summer

Disappointed with my stay IHG listed Hotel Indigo as part of their premier hotel category It’s modern design left much to be desired

Our room was in some disrepair and did not meet the description presented I regularly use Holiday Inn Properties in my travels and found this to be subpar in comparison to their other regular and budget properties I would strong advise those who choose to list this property as a premier property reconsider this classification if other properties under this label are in a similar state The staff was friendly and helpful and was the shining part of my stay It would be hard for me to consider staying at another Indigo property

Average and clean hotel with pleasant staff Major complaint is that the Hotel has its main floor reception area bathroom locked and my 75 year old husband had to walk to Starbucks to use a bathroom The reason given “due to Covid” doesn’t make sense since they have an open seating area, breakfast which is included, dining area and indoor pool all open

Just not the bathroom

We never even stayed in the room it was so bad it smelled and everything was very sketchy at check in There was smoke smell and marijuana in the room and coming from the other rooms was partying I was told I still had to pay even though I was not sleeping in that environment and no other rooms available

I switched to a new hotel bc it was so bad The security guard at the front did nothing about the parties and left when I was complaining to the front desk which seemed very odd I was told I could not speak with a manager that they could only be emailed Worst experience ever Was in the hotel maybe 15 minutes Something just was not right

Avoid this property at all costs! Filthy with the most sketch staffThousands of hotel nights and this property is hands down THE WORST!Staff rude tooConcerning activities at this property

Marriott should investigate and be worried about their trademark associated with this property

I am staying 2 nights here I give the hotel workers a 5 hands down The corporation I give a 2

I am writing this review because I can see that the hotel workers are doing a great job, but the corporation leaves them with few resources The hotel workers were excellent, kind and helpful The issue was there was a leak in the ceiling in the breakfast room When we arrived at breakfast I sat in a chair and it was soaking wet I could not see the wet place because it was a fabric color that did not reveal the wet I went and changed and ate breakfast One sweet hustling breakfast attendant was there I did not want to interrupt them, so I moved the chair and got a new one Then I started getting a drip, drop on my head and shoulder I looked up and there was a dripping vent over me I went to the front desk and told the woman there She asked me to see the breakfast attendant I told her the attendant was very busy (she was hustling as the only person working breakfast) and maybe they could get someone else She said yes, again, very apologetic and helpful So we switched tables and ate On the way back up to the room I let the woman at the desk know I had moved the chairs and there was a puddle on the floor I seriously would have mopped it up if I had a mop 🙂 Clearly there is very little staff I know this is happening all over I feel very bad for these workers they need more compensation and respect I thanked the front desk person for doing all they could

This Hampton Inn location is close to a shopping center with several restaurants The rooms are clean and the employees are courteous Overall its a nice place to stay

Two minor things to keep in mind There is a $10 / night parking fee Also, it is right next to a main highway Neither of these things are bad, but something to be aware of when you make your choice of where to stay
