Was here over the weekend, the place was sold out They must not be fully staffed 30-minute lines to get coffee in the morning, and 2 1/2 hour wait to get into any of the restaurants on Saturday night For a place where you are paying $300+ a night, the best options for food are the Food Trucks they have outside

And 4 drinks from one of the lobby make-shift bars were $50 Very pretty property and the staff was good considering the situation But the property was not prepared for a full house One of the restaurants lost our credit card, which someone the next day tried to use And the phone in the room was broken the entire time, even after we informed the front desk twiceHad higher expectations but we still had a nice time, should have been much nicer I understand the lack of employees, but if you aren’t able to provide a premium product, you shouldn’t ask for a premium price Crazy thing is, I would probably go back under different circumstances It is a very beautiful property Landscaping is beautiful

The best resort experience I have ever had, and I wasn’t even a guest! We came and visited based on Trip Advisor and local recommendations and we were not disappointed From the moment you walk in the decor and the ambiance was captivating The plants, the waterfalls, the flowers and grandness of the interior of this resort is breathtaking

We enjoyed lunch and a self tour of the facility, due to our actual hotel being in downtown Nashville But we will definitely be back to stay at this resort in the future It is very family friendly with a huge water park, interactive kids activities, an arcade, and boat ride This resort is a must see if you are in the area

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking any stay This website will compare countless booking websites and normally will have rooms a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This resort is the best rated in the area

I have been staying here for a very long time If you stay for a few days you for sure won’t be let downThis place is amazing The property is very large and beautiful The restaurants are all amazing, the indoor water park, and shops make it a very unique and fun place to visit

We went for our Anniversary dinner, and could not be more pleased that we chose the Buckhorn Inn! As we had arrived early, we took a lovely stroll along their nature trail and gardens We then took our glasses of wine out to their back porch to sip and gaze at the mountain scenery before us The wait staff were phenomenal, and we lacked for nothing

The meal itself was delicious, and we will definitely be returning!

Danny von Jouanne

Averaging 2 reviews for their dinner, one 5 star recipe and one 1 star review First time as newlyweds was great experience and great food Second visit they cancelled our dinner reservation when they found out our son was 8 months old

We are respectful of others and our son is usually very quiet at meals, and if he isn’t, we promptly slip out so as not to disrupt others, but buckhorn said we are not welcome with children under 3

We booked this two day trip to celebrate our baby girl turning 2 years old My husband, myself and our two young kids loved our room It was beautiful and the view of the smoky mountains were top notch

We had an issue with our original room upon check in and the staff immediately fixed the issue with no problems Everyone we encountered was so kind and courteous The problem that we had was with the water park We has booked this resort for the water park to celebrate my daughters birthday knowing that it was indoors however the water was so stinking cold we could not enjoy We paid about $500 to stay for two nights and had to pay $85 additional for the water park My kids were so excited when they saw the indoor water park but as soon as we got in were immediately taken back about how cold it was My two year old had blue lips and was shivering almost immediately and my 4 year old was not far behind We only spent about an hour there but most was spent in the hot tub Not worth the money or the time I would recommend the resort but if you are going for the indoor water park thinking it will be a warm way for your kids to swim then I would rethink you plans

Tristan

It starts at check-in You realize they have way too many units for the infrastructure

You can’t find a parking place so you park 200 yards away from Check In You go inside and see a roped off line just to check in it is loud in there You finally get your room key then go see another concierge who gives you your parking pass again but sets up a sales meeting of an hour and a half so you can win a coffee cup! The last thing I wanna do on my vacation is go see a sales presentation for an hour and a half The rooms are very well appointed and comfortable the air conditioner is cold and the water is very hot The patio furniture is very nice and comfortable And the ambience of the deck would be fantastic if only you weren’t listening to interstate traffic all night long which really ruins it The coffee maker cost about nine dollars judging by his performance We also had a faulty dryer that would not spin the clothes dry Overall I would say the accommodations once you get past the crowd are definitely 4 to a 4 1/2 It’s just the crowd you have to put up with here are horrible It probably makes the stay not worth it for us to come back

Roberto Dohnert

So where to start? First of all, love the location Service was OK, I had to call 5 times to get wasp nests killed, my handicapped mother asked for a bottom floor they put us on the third, there were multiple issues with appliances and the rooms which left much to be desired The water park was tons of fun and the Southern Comfort restaurant while a tad pricey in my opinion was definitely worth it and a real treat

The sales people were not too pushy (Good luck with the baby Gracie) Overall the personal human contact was adequate the room condition and the flaws I had there left some to be desired but the vacation was well worth it, I will be coming back and I’m sure you would like it as well

Our family came here for Mother’s Day weekend We had a great time and it was a very unique experience! The price is definitely on the higher end, so I wish breakfast was included and maybe some other amenities But we had fun with what was available

We didn’t leave the resort because downtown Memphis is a very dangerous and high crime area That’s a fact, just drive through and you’ll see But the resort room was so cool, the inside was amazing how you could look down into and up into the pyramid It was the coolest bass pro we’ve ever seen too The bowling alley and restaurants were great too We had an issue with our AC the first night to they upgraded our room and gave us a discount for that night All staff was too notch There are police and security on site at all times for resort safety We would stay again but not for a while due to the cost

Alexander Meditz

It really is a great place to stay The room was very clean and the decor was rustic and charming We had an interior room that had a screened in balcony that allowed you to look down into Bass Pro Shop

You need to have a room key in order to get to the second or third floor which is nice because it keeps the traffic down to a minimum The one thing they could improve on is the bar they have on the 3rd floor They don’t have very many options as it is basically a dry bar All in all it was definitely a great experience and we would totally stay here again

Carrie Dela Cruz

A wonderful experience here, all employees were so welcoming, the definition of southern hospitality The room was amazing felt like being in a cabin Spending much of the evening on the balcony felt like we were outside without having to be outside with the mosquitoes

The Mississippi terrace was beautiful and relaxing to sit at and watch the sun go down The shower was wonderful and the linens were great quality not your standard over washed scratchy stuff you see in hotels Thanks for a great stay I hope to some day be back

Pulling up to the building was very impressive very clean the outside was nice looking The indoor lobby was very elegant very clean people were somewhat hospitable We were greeted with warm chocolate chip cookies and a hello from the person at the desk at the spa

The condo rate was pretty decent it wasn’t cheap The rooms were very spacious nice set up all the comforts of home They seem to be a lack of new towels and toilet paper and basic amenities, during the stay, to get them to the room we had to actually go to desk and get them ourselves We also found out the pull out couch does not have any bedding at all, you need to bring that if you’re going to use the pull out couch I would also suggest bringing your own tube the lazy river has some, but they’re very small and there is a lack ofThey told us we would be near the lazy river when we got to our condo was however Looking out the windows we saw the fact that we were right on top of the patio Of the lazy river, zero privacy whatsoever While eating dinner with the window shades open I felt like people outside were eating with us We wish they were more clear about the location of the condo we probably would’ve wanted another condo either on the higher floor or on the other side of the building for a little more privacy due to the fact that we had kids that went to bed earlyWe had a sign inside of condo saying the lazy river and patio deck, would be closed At 10 o’clock Many nights it went past that until we had to make a phone call to report loud and late night events, it felt like spring break We brought this to the attention of the front desk and management and nothing seem to help except for the next night they did shut it down but not until 11 o’clock We finally got a hold of the manager after a few days of check out they did compassionate a little bit but I don’t feel the comp was satisfactory considering the fact that we paid so much money to stay at such a high end resort

It’s such a wonderful place to stay, clean rooms, reasonably priced, but the staff is what makes this place 5 stars! As soon as you walk in, you can feel the warmth The restaurant was good, nothing to write home about, but again, the staff is so wonderful, I ate there twice There are plenty of food choices close by, that’s why I really can’t ding the hotel itself

There’s also Top Golf simulators in the lobby, nice little something to do when you come back for the night

The hotel is in downtown Memphis, blocks from Beale Street and nearby to so many restaurants The lobby is extraordinary Very opulent

Everyone wants to watch the duck parade We enjoyed learning about the history of the hotel The staff is polite and professional Prices are high for rooms and for food in the restaurants but it’s all very elegant Our room was quite small and our bathroom was the size of a closet The garage feels safe and is very clean but it’s not free, so be prepared I’m glad we experienced this; but, if we came again, I would cough up the extra bucks for a larger room

Nick Pipikios

If you are staying in Memphis, why not stay in its great, historic hotel with very good service Great location It’s a sold four star hotel

The lobby is beautiful and the stores are of good quality The rooms are decent but we were in a pet friendly room which no matter the hotel are never as niceSelf park is quite a distance but directly connected to the hotelThe duck parade is a fun, quirky, event to watch

Jackie Cullen

Stayed for two nights recently in this hotel on a trip from Ireland The hotel is fabulous and our room was beautiful and so comfortable We loved the ducks! However our stay was made by our dinner waiter, Chris, on both evenings

He was superb! So much fun, professional and went out of his way to make sure we had a wonderful time! Thank you

Chloe at front desk, Amy in housekeeping/laundry and Charlie in the grill along with EVERY OTHER EMPLOYEE in the lodge were WONDERFULGreat accommodations

My only concern and only a CONCERN is the lawn mowers on coursethey seem to continue mowing regardless of golfersYES none of us are pros so THEREFORE a safety issueThey could VERY possibly get hitNot on purpose BUT the other Coumtry Clubs I’ve golfed at ALWAYS stop and pull aside to safety (if not turn there engines OFF) now I understand they would be ALWAYS stepping aside but they definitely distract amateur golfersI also WISH I could of had MY BIRTHDAY DINNER in lodge BUT not openMaybe next timeTHANKS overall for a great experience and FABULOUS course

Joe Morris

We play at the course A lot, but the last 2 times have been very disappointingBoth times our cart has stopped working and we have had to wait for someone to come bring us another, also we were having to wait over 5 minutes after every shot The group in front of us had 2 holes empty in front of them and where not keeping pace, had the entire course backed up

We told the ranger but nothing Took us 45 hrs to play 18 holes usually takes us less 3I just left and am changing to a 4 star The lady in the morning 630 was extremely helpful and nice But had the first tee time made the turn and had to wait because of group starting on the back Should not happen at that course Golf course in good shape

I say this with complete honesty that is undoubtedly the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in We entered to a large parking lot with plenty of space (Tesla and handicap parking as well) and took in a huge Christmas themed building The inside is decorated from top to bottom with Christmas decor and has the most wonderful scent of the holiday season

I thought the trees may be dusty or tacky but everything was truly clean as could be and very in styleThe rooms were beautiful and immaculately clean! I’ve never stayed somewhere so clean and polishedEvery morning you can visit with Santa downstairs and enjoy a wonderful complimentary breakfast that features an omelet bar, waffle station, continental buffet, and more Sit outside and enjoy the beautiful courtyard!Every evening there’s complimentary cookies at the front desk and coffee/lemonade served daily all day in the lobby Try their signature flavor, you won’t regret it!We absolutely cannot wait to come back to the amazing gem of a hotel

I was in Pigeon Forge for my birthday weekend and I stayed at another hotel the first night, it was a disaster I called direct to the Ramsay and the front desk clerk was very friendly I told her I needed a room and she gave me the best rate

And that’s not all, once I got there to check in they bumped me up to deluxe suite just because(hint – did i say it was my birthday ☺️) The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, it was everything and some The pool was very nice as well as the breakfast This made my remaining stay perfect I’m so glad I chose this hotel I would definitely stay here again without a doubt Thank you to the staff and manager Great customer service!

Beth B

I was very pleased with my stay with my mother for mother’s day We felt very welcome there and everyone was so nice The rooms were spacious we did address the issues we had which was the toilet had a issue flushing all the way and the fridge would not stop and it made itself an ice box

They did take care of them right away Breakfast was amazing they offered a variety at there bar I would say there again

The hotel has a strange scent My first impression- The room walls were dirty the rugs have dirt in the corners and everything was dusty even the bathroom The bathroom sink and tub had rust inside the basin and along faucets and the closet was dirty too

My husband requested housekeeping to clean the room but nobody showed up to clean The halls of this hotel was not better because there is dirt smudges on the walls and stains on the rugs and trash littered on the floor and inside the elevators The elevator buttons are even nasty and need to be scrubbed Compared to the Knoxville Hilton Garden we stayed in last night the Memphis Hilton Garden is a Super 8 motel The cable in the room even disconnected and never resumed after 2 hours of checking in the room If you enjoy cleanliness, comfort, quality, or quiet avoid this hotel Furthermore, there aren’t many food options available in the area

Stephen Adelman

Wont stay here again, they only have one working elevator, the one that dose work doesn’t work properly They don’t have enough luggage carts, and it seemed like people held them in the rooms to have them for check out in the morning When we called and asked for one more pillow they said they were all out

It just seemed like excuse after excuse with the front desk, and when we brought all the issues we had up at check out All we got was a sorry hope you have a better experience next time!

I stayed at the Hilton this past weekendI was not able to get an early check in but when I got there after 4:00, my room was ready It was clean kind of stuffy

The rose looks fairly new I was exhausted when I got there Normally, I have a problem laying in somebody else’s bed Last night I slept so good I woke up this morning feeling good I wanted to give a review because when I see that there’s good service I want others to know the only problem I really had is that I couldn’t get my water hot hot And then my toilet wouldn’t go down I called the front desk they sent maintenance up He did what he needed to do Kudos to Hilton and Crew

This is a beautiful hotel with great staff All rooms are suites, so the “living room/kitchenette area” was a great place to entertain in the room with the bedroom door closed The pillows & bedding were very comfortable

I liked the single cup coffee/tea maker & refrigerator There was also a sink, microwave, table for 2, TV, sleeper sofa, & coffee table If you roll the office chair in from the bedroom, then that’s seating for 6 The layout of the rooms allowed us to overlook the lobby when in the hall There are no across the hall rooms which eliminates sounds of people in the hallway The bedroom can be closed off from the living area so there’s no under the door light Central BBQ is a short drive away & had the best BBQ I can recall having in the last 10 years This was a great experience I am reducing by 1 star because we had an activity in a ballroom, but were disturbed by a loud party in the connecting ballroom The hotel needs to figure out how to add sound proofing or at least reduction to prevent that situation or be mindful & transparent when scheduling Housekeeping needs improvement We found a plastic bottle on the floor under the bed

I hated staying here I and a friend stayed for two daysWe selected a room with two double beds

When we checked in, the hotel didn’t give us a room with two double beds, instead it was a queen bed and a sofa bed Since we had no other choice, we had to accept itThe room was not cleaned well The bathtub, especially was quite dirty; I couldn’t take a shower The bed sheets on the sofa bed was quite old and dirty as wellThe worst thing about this hotel is the customer service and the way treat you: I needed to separate the charges on the room into two receipts I told this quite in advance at the time of booking in expedia about a month ago In check-in, I requested to have separated charges again I was told that we can do that at check-outIt was an early check-out, 3:30am We wanted to separate the charges again Front desk told me that it would take half an hour to do so and since we didn’t have time, we left our names in a paper for the two separate receipts Front desk person told us that she will send the receipts as email After about couple of hours, we didn’t get any e-mail Then I sent two e-mails, one to the front desk email and one to the Front Office Manager I tried calling the Front Office Manager multiple times, he/she didn’t pick up the phoneI called front desk 3 times and every time I called, the person in the front desk didn’t have any clue about my problem

So after paying in advance for the room we drove 8hrs to Memphis to be told by these guys we had to drive around another 6hrs and waite for availability The lady at the desk was giving others their room keys but not us So on top of the additional 6hr waite we had another 30 min

To an HR Don’t waste your money here If I could get my money back I’d leave the lobby right now and get a better spot

First location it’s pretty far away from everything that’s going on downtown depending on who you are that could be a good thing or a bad thing Outside of that we stayed in a cabin which was single family it was well appointed to have plenty of dishes and cooking utensils The refrigerator is a bit small but we’ll make do for the time that we are here Check in was a breeze we would definitely stay here again

Queen bed in each room and a fold-out couch were great for our family of five nine out of 10 would recommend!

I’m a little delayed in my review but my husband and I visited Bent Creek at the end of January for a little mini-moon On the trip, I lost my wedding ring at the resort and the customer service we received was beyond amazing, especially Ronnie! They checked in continuously and found many methods to find the ring (which we did) and we cannot thank the staff enough! The resort itself was also a great spot for a getaway!

We paid for 3 rooms, I checked into the rooms through my app I got rooms keys on my phone We arrived 2 hours after check in time

The first room we walked into was ready for us When we walked into the second room this was not cleaned I walked up to house keeping to ask why the room I have a key for was not cleaned and he said he wasn’t house keeping he was just helping house keeping trying to catch up After speaking with the front desk they sent a supervisor up to clean it since they were short staffed We did get free breakfast for the inconvenience, which was greatly appreciated After being in the rooms a few hours, I kept feeling like I was stepping on little things on the ground Come to find out, we were stepping on dog food, we don’t own any dogs I even found a half empty water bottle laying on the floor by one of the beds After that I just felt so uncomfortable and disgusted My mind couldn’t stop thinking about how unclean the rooms were What a shame for such a lovely hotel Cleanliness is why I choose to stay at Hilton brand hotels, this is why I gave it a 3 star reviewWhat a delightful hotel, the views are beautiful, the food in the dinning was tasty and decently priced even my young adults and littles like it The front desk employees where friendly and so kind The wait staff in the dinning room where friendly and very attentive The best part was the water slide and the pool area My family enjoyed that a lotI don’t feel comfortable staying at this hotel again because of the way the rooms where cleaned or should I say lack of cleanliness It’s a huge hotel and they didn’t even have enough staff for 1 house keeper for each floor It’s a shame because my family enjoyed all the other amenities that were offered but I choose staying at hotels for the cleanliness

the room was clean and had everything we needed other then enough coffee but when I asked at desk they always gave me some The staff was all very friendly and so helpful Marina in the lounge was so so very nice and we so enjoyed visiting with her in the evenings

She made our stay so enjoyable Beds were super comfortable and I got many good nights sleep We didn’t use the pool so can’t comment on it But we did go down and look at the area and it looked wonderful

This hotel is an excellent getaway! Joan at the front desk is the picture of kindness Her daughter (I think her name is Robin) is the housekeeping manager and they both make a tremendous difference there! Joan saw my daughter come in with my husband and I she was so kind to her She helped her pick out some beautiful comfortable glasses

She looked for gluten free cookies for her and was just so kind We will definitely be back, mostly because of her Oh and the view is breathtaking and breakfast is absolutely delicious!
