My husband and I stayed here while traveling through the area and were very pleased The lady that was there when we checked in was so nice and friendly She was more than helpful in suggesting a place to eat while in the area and other help that we needed while in the area

The room was nice, clean, and what you would expect with a Hilton hotel The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean, and the shower was great The breakfast in the morning was perfect for a quick bite before hitting the road Would recommend and will be back if we are ever in the area

The staff here is about the best I’ve seen at a hotel ever Extremely prompt, very polite and cordial, as well as positive I’ve had to travel extensively for work and this is the first time in a long time I’ve felt inclined to leave a positive review

What a reliefI can’t recommend this place enough It’s a phenomenal value You’ll just feel good about it from the moment you check inThey even have an automated pancake machineThe future is now

Amanda Keisler

We were passing through and it was a wonderful experience! We are hauling a 40 ft rv trailer and they had an extra “truck” parking that was well maintained with steps leading down to main property It couldn’t have been more perfect to park our trailerRooms were extremely clean and smelled so fresh

I was so impressed with everything about this hotel Wonderful customer service!! I highly recommend staying at this hotel!!

This hotel has been one of the best by far We stayed here 2 nights and their hospitality was 100% The breakfast is really good, Mon-Fri they serve a snack/dinner with adult beverages as well that’s also complimentary with the stay between 5-7pm (which is Awesome!) Anything we needed we got with no hassle

The rooms were clean, the bathrooms were clean, the AC worked, and it was quiet The staff was really polite, and the ladies who served breakfast and dinner were very helpful if we needed anything I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone coming through meridian needing somewhere nice to stay 5/5 no doubts

Best experience at Hampton Inn Meridian Peyton at the front desk with FABULOUS! We arrived late night on the way to the beach after driving in a rainstorm for hours The rooms were wonderful

The breakfast staff were friendly, and it was the best complimentary breakfast I’ve had a hotel in years Kudos to Hampton Inn Meridian! Great Job!

Wow, what an awesome stay Clean facility, attentive and friendly front desk staff Quiet

After a long trip it was nice to end my day in the bar with a nice drink The restaurant was awesome I hope I’m getting her name right because she deserves much praise The waitresses name was “Shameisha,” incredible woman who appeared to work the restaurant solo With the level of guest coming and going, she never lost her smile, she checked to make every guest was happy and having a good time My coffee mug was never empty, she made all of us feel like we were specialWe are returning in March, with friends, in route to New Orleans, I can’t wait

LaRie Lindsey

We arrived from Texas with our family of 5 to find out they gave our room away to someone else The solution you might ask? A room with one king bed and one twin roll away, so you can imagine how comfortable we were The room was FILTHY with what was CLEARLY bodily fluids DRIPPING down the the bed skirt

I have pictures! And you can forget about a hot shower The water was cool to lukewarm, AT BEST The mattress was UNCOMFORTABLE! It sunk down in the center of the bed and had us feeling like we were fighting to keep from rolling into the middle all night The air was unreliable and we woke up sweating in the middle of the night because it wouldn’t turn on The breakfast vouchers that were supposed to be included in our trip were not given to us until we asked about it at breakfast the next morning We were given a room with only 3 towels even though there were clearly more in our party When my daughter went downstairs to ask for more towels the next morning she was told they would bring them up Why could they not just hand them to her? Who knows We waited over and hour and decided to share towels because we had places to be and could not wait any longer We left the room with a do not disturb sign on it as we did not want any house keeping We come back and what do ya know? They went ahead and went in anyway? Who are we to expect privacy!?! Not a paying customer…😁 We won’t be back If I were you I’d look elsewhere Hey but on a positive note, they didn’t have any bugs!

Daniel L

Beautiful lobby Room was good size and clean I think there is an AC unit on the roof above me cause it was noisy

Had big problem downstairs Shipped two cases to this location and, after about 30 min of haggling with staff n looking up shipping confirmation, they found one case in a hallway broom closet There was another minor problem with charging my credit card separately for breakfast Breakfast was good though 👍 Other than the noise and a loose shower knob and shower head that needs CLR, room seems good

Christy Hardy

We had some inconveniences-our room overlooked the interstate and we could hear the noise of the trucks at night Our blinds also wouldn’t close the first night However, they fixed it immediately and our fan we travel with drowned out the street noise

We would stay here again because the staff was incredibly friendly-all of them The hotel is dated, but it was spotless! So so clean The free breakfast was also really good It had great variety, and it was all delicious The hotel halls were quiet and also very clean Overall, a great stay and perfect for staying with kids

Jess Hogg

Check-in was easy, the parking lot felt safe and well lit, and the outdoor areas looked nice The room was comfortable and clean and the couch bed was easy to set up Their breakfast bar was well stocked and offered a good selection

The shower was a little grimy, and the staircase smelled of smoke, but otherwise, this was a very comfortable overnight stop No concerns

Kyle Enochs

I came in to ask for a room in person, because my phone had died on a long, late drive, and was told the hotel was full Fair enough, no problemI asked to use a wall outlet just long enough to check availability at nearby hotels and was refused and told had to leave immediately

I’ve never left a negative review before, but I’ve also never had a business so unwilling to show even a modicum of respect or kindness towards a potential customer

Overly positive experience We requested a first floor room and that request was accommodated The breakfast, along with the breakfast workers were both fabulous

Way better options that I expected including hot items and fresh waffles My only real issue was that our room smelled like wet dog I understand the hotel is pet friendly, and have pets myself, but I don’t know that I would have stayed longer than one night a room that really smelled of wet dog We didn’t ask to change rooms because we were a late check-in and and early check-out, but it seems reasonable to keep the pet room separate from those without pets Otherwise, the room and property was great! There’s even a 24/7 Waffle House in the same parking lot which we took full advantage of at 11pm

John Morton

The last time that we stayed here I never got a chance to do a review but I’m taking the time out this time I remember on our previous visit we were not charged an incidental fee, but we found that that is a necessary part of their process now I found everything about the room to be acceptable aside from the fact that it had a major lack for USB plugs but there are 6 very accessible outlets

Very clean and beds very comfortable The ice machine on the second floor wasn’t working during our visit so we simply use the one on the third floor The place feels very safe and secure which is one reason that we chose it for a second time And upon departure we found that spectacular breakfast provision had not changed one bit Without a doubt would stay here again on our next trip We’re very thankful for the conscientious customer care offered by all the employees

LifeNeverADullMoment

Excellent for the price wish I could find this nice everywhere I go Room was clean comfortable AC worked well shower was good bed comfortableFront desk clerk aloof wasn’t there when we came in had to ring bell several times before she came to desk

Breakfast is best I’ve had lately in hotels all over USA Even had bacon! Nice parking in back for truck with trailers

The campground operator was polite, professional, and efficient Campground late check in information was provided via email and was very thorough Sites were level on concrete pads and clean

Campground is small but quiet and well-maintained Very affordable and felt safe Full Hookups were very “legit,” with 90psi pressure requiring pressure regulator Electric and internet were very satisfactory

Annette Turner

Zero stars is what is needed here The campground manager/owner is the problem The campground is nice but the campground manager/owner lacks the most basic people skills and customer service

We were quoted a monthly rate for a three week stay and quoted a price for that rate When we went in to pay for it he rudely denied ever saying that and then told us to just to leave, kicking us out of his campground because we were holding him to his word We traveled HOURS here for a serious medical issue with our parents and he knew that He insisted we would pay the full monthly rate even though the price was over $100 what he had quoted me This was all after the camping spot he had promised to give us was given to someone else who paid by credit card when he strongly urged us to just pay in cash when we arrived on our original call Complete unprofessionalism He sat there arguing with us about this looking like he had just crawled out of the bed This place will never make it if they treat their customers this way One other bad rating said BEWARE I completely agree Do be fooled by the exterior provisions The management of this place is what deserves this low rating He needs some serious remedial training in people skills and good customer service I cannot stand to do business with someone who lies and refuses to honor their word

Our 2 room suite was very spacious and clean From the beds to the pillows to the televisions everything was perfect As the staff was so professional and inviting

Nicole at the Hilton was simply amazing! I love hershe was such a joy and made myself and my family feel extra special We will most definitely be back to visit and will be staying at this location

Lori W

This is an older Hilton Garden Inn, but our room was clean and the AC worked great Bed was very comfortable after 15 hours in the car The only bad thing was when we arrived, we were given room 519

The key would not work, so someone from housekeeping on the floor used their card to get us in the room We were going to take the card back after we dumped our bags and get one that worked I opened the room and there was someone in it! I was mortified and lucky that the person didn’t freak out We go back down to the desk (dragging our bags) and the girl doesn’t really acknowledge the error She tells me that the system assigned the room, she had nothing to do with it She then gets back into the computer and tells us we are in Room 516 across the hall Obviously, she just transposed the numbers on the card key, but she never even took ownership of that or really apologized She just blamed it on the computer All in all, it was fine for a quick one night stay and convenient as it was right off the highway I honestly didn’t find it much better than a Comfort Inn, and if I hadn’t gotten such a good deal on the rooms, I probably would be a lot more upset I realize that getting help since COVID is difficult, but I expect more of a Hilton hotel

jackie mm

Great location It was a stopover for meThe lobby is beautiful

The rooms are old and gave me motel vibes One of the towels looked so used it was torn and needed to be thrown away honestly They have a bar and kitchen in the lobby Mixed drinks are watered down Overall, I do not think it is worth $100+ a night but I used my points to pay for the room so not much lost

LAS

This place was filthy The front desk clerk told us that the reason the trash cans were overflowing was because the maintenance man didn’t work weekends so the trash was not picked up This was Saturday evening and ALL of the trash cans were overflowing

There were less than 10 cars in the entire parking lotsomething does not add up The entrance of the motel had filthy floors, stained walls and carpets and smelled The elevator and second floor hallway were the same The room was no better and the bathroom had not been cleaned in lord knows how long The bedspread was also stained I cancelled my reservation, walked across the street to the Holiday Inn Express and paid for a room I have called Wyndham Rewards to explain the situation and request my reward points be returned To date I have only been able to establish a case number and “register” my complaint If they do not fix this I will definitely submit more reviews on more travel and booking websites as well as any and all social media platforms I can find Come on Wyndham, do the right thing by me, investigate and institute necessary changes to this specific motel and/or revoke it’s Wyndham status

Rusty Nance

Very clean and price was fair As a driver over the road , it was easy to get in and out of from the interstate Room was clean and pleasant

Erica that works the front deck was very pleasant to talk to and check in was very smooth Erica has a personality that makes you feel comfortable and appreciated I will be staying here again in the future

Thomas Hollywood Rogers

It’s right next to the highway – plusFront desk staff very friendly – plusThe room and free breakfast however

horrible! The A/C in my room didn’t work so I slept on top of the bed The remote for the TV didn’t work so stuck with the home page Fridge didn’t work Breakfast is cold hard boiled eggs, yogurt, waffles, cereal and white breadThis would be a perfect spot if I was out drinking and just needed a place to sleep off a night bar hoping Or if you just need a power nap on a long drive like me (San Antonio – Atlanta) then sure But don’t look at the room, don’t expect a big breakfast spread, don’t expect a/c or the ability to fall asleep to a TV show if you can do that, then ok 4 hours was enough rest here for meZero ☆ For the room and breakfast10 ☆ For employees

I stayed here with my husband and two teenage daughters on the way to the beach We paid around $80 for the night and were pleased overall The beds were comfortable, the pillows were great, AC worked well, it was super quiet and it was dark

Good shower pressure and hot water I’ve stayed in thousands of hotels in my life and always check beds for bed bugs (at the Peabody and at the Super 8), never walk around barefoot in a hotel, and don’t expect a 5 star room for $80 a night Even so, I was pleasantly surprised by how nice this little motel was Everyone at the front desk was polite and helpful as well The continental breakfast does leave quite a bit to be desired but this is a weird time with supply shortages and what not and probably not the motel’s fault I’d stop here again on my way through for one night, definitely

After staying at the very worst IHG hotel ever, we passed through here on our way home and booked a night at a very reasonable rate Cheapest during our 10 nights away from home We were upgraded to a king suite that we did not even request

Everything was clean and in good repair Emily, the front desk clerk, was super friendly and went the extra mile to leave a personalized note on our key room envelope telling us the amount of points we have and wishing us a Happy Memorial Day Emily may be young but is a huge asset to your company This was a much better experience and renewed our faith in the brand Thank you, Emily Your kindness was needed at that moment more then you can ever imagine Let no one dim your light!

What a welcomed relief when my husband and I walked into the lobby of this hotel! In March, 2022, we had two long days of travel and the previous night we stayed in a hotel that charged us an additional $7500 to keep the room clean! It was refunded, but this item was not listed on their website Heather, at the front desk of Comfort Inn, understood how tired we were and gave us one of their best rooms

She even greeted us by name the next morning! Another employee there also was friendly and asked if there was anything they could do for us Thank you both! Our room was clean and the neighbors were quiet Thank you Meridian Comfort Inn for fantastic hospitality!

Jessica Gorman

If I could give this place negative stars, I would I’m generally not one to leave a review, as we typically only stay for one night and get back on the road to our destinationTo start, check in went pretty quick

I did have to pay a deposit, the amount of which was grossly misrepresented by the site I used to book this room AND the company’s own website Hotelscom stated a $50 cash deposit, which I was prepared to pay The choice hotels website stated that a $50 deposit was required for cash paying customers, of which I was not Not only did I wake up to a fraudulent charge on my account this morning, it was for $60, which was an amount never even brought forth, ever, at any point during any transaction Deceptive business practices are not a good look during a recession, especially in nowhere MississippiAnother calculated misrepresentation is that of their rooms Again, I booked thru hotelscom, as I have for many years Never has a room been as disappointing or subpar as this I booked a king room with a pull out couch I checked, double checked, and checked one more time to be sure that I had done so Lo and behold, we arrive to one king sized bed, a single chair with an ottoman, and a bench No pull out couch in site We went to the front desk to request a roll away bed, at which point we were told that they usually charge for these Seeing as how we shouldn’t have needed the extra bed, the desk clerk on duty said she would leave a note for management explaining this, to avoid the extra charge I can only assume the $60 fraudulent charge on my credit card this morning included $10 for the rollaway bed Bait me with a reasonable room rate, I arrive expecting what I paid for (in advance-never again!), only to find that I’ll be charged an extra $10, effectively increasing (or switching, if you will) my room rate to $129 a nightWe are an army family, my husband is active duty This will be our first trip home to visit family together in close to 5 years We are on a budget, and it’s tight Don’t fall victim to these crooks that manage this establishment

Here is why I gave it a 1 star:Carpet had not been vacuumedThe microwave was dirty on the outside and clean on the outsideThe refrigerator was clean on the inside but dirty and sticky on the outsideI washed the coffee pot before I used itThe mirror in bedroom was dirty and streakedThe curtains were dirty and water stainedThe air conditioner cooled some Thankful that we had brought a fanIt needs paint and updatesWe knew we were not staying in a fancy place but the room should have been cleanedWe will not be staying at a Days Inn againWe had a similar experience last year at a Days inn

It was a place to stay for the night I would not want to stay here longer than that The rooms were a little old

The parking lot was well lit, and I was grateful for that Some of the other guests were a little loud As of March 2022, breakfast was still suspended due to the pandemic Snacks and juice were available to-go The staff were friendly and helpful After check-out, I noticed that my credit card had three pending charges, but that was sorted out within a few days I probably wouldn’t want to pay more than $80 for a night $70 was pushing it

J. Spidle Sr

Very old run down facility Rooms are clean but not very nice Lighting was good in parking lot and the front desk lady was very friendly and professional, which is why I rated it a 3-star and not a 2-star

They are still using Covid as an excuse not to serve the normal hot breakfast, even though no one working there or staying there were masked up I would be shocked if this place is even open in another year

‘Accessible’ room was not very accessible Shower not zero entry, shower chair not in room, had to ask for a shower chair Shower head fixed so not able to do a sitting shower thoroughly

The curtain rod for the shower is broken as well, so it is impossible to close the shower curtain which leads to water all over the floor in the bathroomStaff at front desk were very nice and quick to find a shower chair Main stays just needs to improve their ‘Accessible’ room

We needed a handicapped room It did not meet anything that would be approved of by my home health nurse Very minimal provision of a backless tub chair that could not be adjusted

Shower head at standard height for a healthy person Shower curtain rod broken so the curtain basically only hung in the very middle I was very under impressed and except for the fact that we were exhausted would not have stayed there Also no space between or either side of the bed to manipulate a wheelchair

Sarah Harwood

So we read reviews that said it was renovated Umm no They did paint the walls

However it was a very dirty hotel My feet were black after walking on the floor Woke up this morning and turned over pillow to find the previous visitors makeup all over the pillows So… sheets were not changed The sheets also had cigarette burns It is also not a good neighborhood I would not stay here again
