I booked my stay with the hotel over the phone, I received an email with the confirmation number and my total price When I went to the hotel to book in, I was giving a completely different price, about 40% higher I showed the front desk the paperwork I had, they did not care

Over the course of the weekend I spoke to five different people at the front desk, one of which was speaking to the manager on the phone and everyone said it did not matter what price I was quotedAs for the room, there was mold in the bathroom, the bed was extremely uncomfortable but the room was fairly cleanThe internet only worked one day of my stay, the front desk says it goes down oftenThe rudeness of the people at the front desk and management staff definitely make me reconsider my opinion of Hampton innsIf you have anything to do in downtown Haverhill, this is a fairly decent location Easy enough to get to downtown but besides that I’m not sure there’s anything I would recommend for the hotel

Stephanie Hardy

Not worth the money Needs updating, very old and demographic is clearly old Judged at check-in

She said twice no smoking in the room…we aren’t even smokers Not impressed Bathroom for king suite is tiny, beds hard, table for desk turned to make room even smaller Rather stay at Marriott chains for sure Traveling a lot for work, this was 4th hotel in 1 week and the most expensive yet the worst quality

Joe Souliotis

I stay at Hiltons all over the country for work This was by far the grossest one I’ve ever been to The room wreaked like cigarettes and there was literally ash all over the floor

The bathroom ceiling had mold When I asked the front desk for soap so I could clean the room (had my 19 month old with me) I was laughed at and told they “don’t have a kitchen” Find another place to stay

I absolutely love the Best Western plus! I love that they have their own little location tucked away on the hill The rooms are HUGE and modern The staff is amazing- they’ve gone above and beyond for me and you can definitely tell that there’s a family feel with their regular guests

The lobby is bright, well lit and welcoming even late at night and there’s always luggage carts I will say however that I unfortunately don’t find their beds to be as comfortable as other places But it’s a lovely quiet location Definitely will stay here in the future and recommend to others

Daniel Reichard

I don’t know why any hotels other than best westerns exist Every time we stay at one it just really highlights everything I don’t like about other hotels This one had very friendly service

The rooms were perfectly clean and smelled fantastic Excellent little weight room The pool was large, perfect temperature and deep enough that 6 ft me could tread water! The breakfast was so delicious and had plenty to choose from Several restaurants deliver here as well Loved it here

Monique Ferrecchia

Stayed here for a wedding, but probably wouldn’t otherwiseCons: The room had a strong musty odor; we checked and cleaned the ac filter – it looked like a dryer lint filter that had never been emptied 🤮 Overall the room looked dingy and slightly dated

The duvet inserts aren’t even in real covers, just between 2 flat sheets Slept on top of the uppermost sheet to minimize my contact with the bed The shower looked like it could use a good scrub, but may have just been older Water pressure is severely lacking, ended up having to wash my hair under the tub spout instead of the shower head to get sufficiently clean No towels available at the pool, we had to bring some down from our room Either the toilet or fridge kept us up with a loud noisePros: Pretty good location, close to food, attractions, and the beach Friendly staff The pool is nice, and seemed well kept, good temperature to really enjoy your swim Good sized room, with a table & chairs, closet, dresser, tv, coffeemaker, mini fridge, and microwave The included breakfast was pretty good Food was hot and they had a decent variety

The location of the hotel is great You are 15 min from the Salem NH mall area and 20 min from the Lowell area They have a decent breakfast with eggs, sausage, assorted breads and muffins, cereal, hot oatmeal, yogurt, and a waffle maker

The indoor pool was busy as it was a hot weekend The rooms are plenty spacious but show their age Everything is carpeted so if you have allergies, beware! Our ac unit didn’t work great We had it set as low as it would go (66) and when we returned from a scorching day on the softball field it was 74 in the room It’s also a loud unit We could hear the people above us which was annoying The bathtub had a super slow drain which left the tub dirty after washing all the infield dirt off of us Just a few little things that make it an overall ok experience

Thomas Martin

This place was very nice Larger than usual hotel rooms, good amenities I took off one star for the room because mine smelled off

They had a carpet cleaning company in my room that day, and it probably just needed to air out more, but it was still something to manage I opened the window to air it out and it was tolerable after about 2 hours

Brandon Fazzino

I was on a business trip up here for a few days, and my company made reservations for us at this hotel The front desk staff were very friendly, the hotel and rooms were clean and the beds were more comfortable than many other hotels I’ve stayed at The prices are also fair

Next time we’re up here we will definitely stay here again Thank you for making us feel welcomed!

Very pleased with our stay! My friends and I stayed in a two bedroom suite The full kitchen was very useful All staff members I interacted with were incredibly pleasant and accommodating to our group

Had some housekeeping and drainage issues, but both were taken care of as soon as it was brought to staff attention Pricing was great for the room, but we paid essentially what we would have spent at a closer hotel to downtown in rides to the city Convenient location if just visiting the Salem area

Veronika Rzucidlo

With family just 10 minutes down the road, my family and I thought this would be the perfect place to stay when we come to visit During our first visit in November 2021, we thoroughly enjoyed the rooms, specifically the kitchens in the rooms The hotel was calm and quiet, even though it was full occupancy due to a festival in Salem

My husband finds the beds very comfortable, which is a great compliment coming from him However, during our last visit this April 2022, we were disappointed in the service and activity transpiring in the hallways Our hotel room had about 1/5 of a roll with no additional rolls provided You have to go to the front desk (which may be in a different building) to pick up anything you may be lacking (eg, soap, towels, toilet paper) The shower gel dispenser in our bathroom was empty Every night during our stay, the hallways reeked of MJ When I called down to the front office, the manager on duty cut me off and said he would “check on it” before I could even finish my sentence, making me believe that he just didn’t care There was a lot of noise in the hallways after 10 pm with people running down the hallways, going into each other’s rooms, slamming doors, and yelling down the hallway During our last night (a Sunday), at 11:30 pm, the manager on duty even came to the room across from us and kicked out those guests (reasons unknown) 2 police officers even came to make sure they left We initially loved this place for the price, location, and amenities, but we aren’t certain if we’ll return for a third time

Mike M.

I don’t know what’s going on lately but I haven’t had good experiences with IHG lately, which was my go to hotels This isn’t a typical Candlewood, but rather a converted TownePlace Suites hotel The new layout leave a lot to be desired

Another mixed bag, in another state:Pros:*Gym and small shopping center behind hotel*Free laundry*Easy check in*All dished cleaned (left in diswasher)Cons:*Parking fills up quickly (small lot)*I had to change rooms due to the first room being in such disarray (pics attached)*Thin floors as you can hear every step above you*People not going outside to smoke weed*Something happened that needed police to be called

The place is disgusting! Carpet really dirty with very visible big dirty spots everywhere!!The bathroom is old dark, the mirror is so old that are some spots that is not a mirror anymore! Lamps are broken, sheets dirty! Air conditioner filter clogged with dirt! OMG i want my money back!!! this place worth 20 dollars the night!! TV doesn’t work! Now I know!! I went all over the place they trick people!! Floor 1and 2 are normal room hotels, floor 3 and upper are where they keep students and when the semester is over they leave the rooms and the hotel rent them as regular room from the hotel!! It is so disgusting! The woman at the front desk she don’t even care about my complaints!! Hope some manager see my complain here and i get my money back!! They make money out of students then they make money with guests without even cleaning the place!!!! 😡😡🤬🤬

Every little detail was perfect: the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was spotless It was a good night’s sleep on the bed Noise should be kept to a minimum

The staff was really helpful and polite The only thing I didn’t like was the lack of a complimentary breakfast COVID concerns have led to this restriction That makes sense When you run out of cream cheese one day, you run out of jelly the next Everything is alright if you can live off of yogurt and coffee

Matthew Mattis

Hotel was clean, presentable outside and the staff was friendly Pool was closed, gym was limited (not sure to really call it a gym) and breakfast ran out of food Always hot coffee in the front, front desk did not acknowledge Diamond member, nor did they present the bag (I had to ask for it)

Everything else was Hampton Inn quality, always a nice stay But, definitely fell short of what it normally is

Holly Edney

Booked this hotel through Hotelcom in March 2022 Stay was paid in full at time of booking

When I checked out the front desk person told me there was a problem with my card and charged it again It’s been 3 weeks since my stay I’ve called the hotel twice both; both times was told there was no manager on site Also called corporate customer service All admit there should have been no charge to my card but no one has reversed the charges yet DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL

Good location but will not be returning Front desk reception staff were nice Room furniture and carpet was quite outdated

Hallway carpet was stained and scary looking Stayed 5 days and no housekeeping services were provided Morning breakfast options were scarse and for Marriott I have never seen this They did not even have yogurt and only had 1 fruit option, banana

Chelsea Vangorden

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL! Our room smells like a chain smokers ashtray, there was a hole in the closet door, the tv in the bedroom had 2 big scratches on it, the pull out couch bed mattress was dirty, the sheets had stains on them It was not only unacceptable it was unsanitary This place was NASTY! The walls were dirty, in the room and in the hallways, it has a bad smell all throughout it

You definitely do NOT want to stay at this hotel Pick ANYWHERE else!

J Woods

BEWARE Marriott will NOT help you if you’re not a Bonvoy member!! The toilet didn’t work and Marriott did nothing! This had to be one of the worst “customer service” cases I’ve dealt with I had a 2 bedroom suite for 2 nights for which I paid $525 The toilet in one of the suites didn’t work

The hotel was full so we couldn’t change rooms We were accommodating to the situation with the hotel (shouldn’t it be the other way around?) and were assured the matter would be addressed when we checked out At check out, the manager said it was all taken care of – I asked what compensation we were given and he said he took $20 off the bill $20! Are you kidding me? Long, long, long story short Corporate headquarters said they could only give me points – I rarely travel and I’m not a Bonvoy member, so they do me no good, when I insisted that wasn’t satisfactory, the SUPERVISOR, Sue, hung up on me I will never recommend staying at Marriott and their “customer service” is non-existent

The food is very good to excellent, nice presentation The dining room is appointed well, dark wood paneling, nicely carpeted, white linens, fresh flower and small candle on each table The menu has a variety of options but not typical fare and not overwhelming

Service always top notch, staff is knowledgeable about the menu and preparations A bit pricey, two of us tonight had split an appetizer, 1 soup, 1 salad, two dinners( $25 & $32) 1 glass of house wine and split a desert- $12500, but not out of line considering the quality, service, and atmosphere All in all, a very pleasant dining experience

Stayed here for a few months for work Was one of the best hotel experiences for me! There were occasional social events with free food Breakfast bar was delicious and had variety! They have communal laundry machines and dryer room for convenience

The gym was nice but a little limited in equipmentRoom service was great and convenient They came to clean often and did a good job!Located right next to Costco so that was convenient!

Great staff and amazing service – everyone at the hotel was very accommodating We had a big room and we were able to take advantage of the gym and breakfast (even when we missed the timing, the staff grabbed us a few things)We needed to make a couple changes during our stay, and the team at the hotel was very friendly and consistently on top of things

Did not enjoy my stay Single elevator that is in use by the staff most of the time I was on the 4th floor and had to use the stairs more then I’d like especially since I had to carry things for work

I was told by reception on arrival that the pool closes at 8 each day Then on my 3rd day suddenly the pool was closed by 7 The hours weren’t posted The reception rudely said it’s on the paperwork you signed while signing it You have to cross a parking lot to get to the pool Breakfast was not good Coffee was terrible Some staff were friendly but others demonstrated true lack of care for guests and their job I have to come back again for Business and will be finding a different hotel

Bill Sweeney

Very clean Great location with the highway, gas, food and being proximate to Lowell, Andover surrounding towns I am a Marriott guy and can get a room for a reasonable number of points

But, big but, it seemed to me that there were a lot of longer term resident families there Also we were there when a basketball tournament was in the area and they were all staying here So that meant loud yelling and running kids outside our window at 11, 12, 1 and 2AM Basketballs being dribbled until the wee hours of the morning Hoopties crusing through with the bass cranked up to “eleven” so my window rattled, people honking their horns, rolling out of their cars to laughter and stomping their way to their rooms above us Kids just wandering around the property looking in car windows I am all about a good time but there is also such a thing as courtesy and respect for others Most of the residents the night we were there didn’t know the meaning of the words Management needs to have security walking the grounds and just get it all under control

Tj Rose

First and foremost, the “concierge” was dead asleep behind the counter when we arrived and did not seem too thrilled we woke him up! Not a huge deal to us but it set the tone for the stay for sure! We walk into our room and the first thing my wife and son see is a cockroach running across the the electric burners! So at that point we either go down to angry guy and request a new room most likely being put in something worse or waste precious sleeping time searching our entire room! We stripped the room and searched every inch! Found one more! For what they charged we expected a lot better!!! Do yourself a favor and book with the Fairfield Inn as we were going to and immediately regretted not doing! We’ve stayed in many hotels before and this by far was the worst! Aside from the really small “suite”, roaches, loud and unrestricted neighbors who were never checked in on even at 3am while they partied very loudly, people smoking at the pool and leaving their kids to do as they wish (nobody from the hotel ever came to the pool btw) and other issues the breakfast was decent lol! I voiced my concerns to them and was ignored having never received a response at all! Not what you would expect from a Marriott hotel!!!

Room was dirty, there were hairs in the shower and it looked like it hadn’t Been cleaned Found trash behind the couch

The breakfast was terrible and the breakfast staff told several guests in the middle of breakfast oh well too should have come down sooner, I’m not making anymore There was still an hour of breakfast left! The front desk person who checked us in was great and gave friendly service until she and the breakfast person started laughing and joking about the guests asking if there was more food coming out right at the desk She claimed to be the Ops manager at least do these things behind closed doors so guests don’t hear you!

Marcelo

I never wrote a review before, but I cannot miss this one This is my opinion based on what I came across in 12 days This was the worst hotel experience I had in my life! I got an ugly allergic sinus/rhinitis on my 3rd day at the hotel due to a lack of cleanness

– First Suite: The air conditioning/heater never worked properly, the bathtub was not draining the water, and the overall cleanness was terrible!- Second Suite: I requested a room change since I had problems with the first one The suit was horrible as well (air conditioning/heater was filthy and had no filters on it, spider webs on the bed headboard, and dust everywhere) I used some containers full of water and humid towels to increase the air humidity, and the next morning the containers were covered with dirt particles I cannot even imagine how mucky the carpet must be- The suites are not cleaned daily To have your suite cleaned, you need to book a time at the front desk, which even booking, never happened in my case For this reason, people usually place their garbage/recycles in bags on the hall floor, so someone from the hotel staff will collect it You also need to keep asking for soap bars/towels at the front desk, because they are never replaced since they don’t clean as a regular service- They never served any food or other types of fruits at the breakfast (only frozen burgers, banana, apple, bread) Some of the yogurts inside the fridge were expired!Overall, I recommend people to find another place to lodge! If I could, I would give 0 stars based on my stay

Another excellent stay at the Marriott Residence Inn in Westford, MA The staff is excellent Amy and Desiree are stars

But the superstar is Naomi who runs the breakfast on weekdays She makes sure the coffee is fresh and hot She makes sure there is a good variety of choices And the breakfast area is always spotlessShe also has a wonderful and warm personality! So please look for her at your next stay here in Westford! She also She

When you lay in the bed your body just slightly sinks into a great night of sleep And I have a messed up back so I’m extra critical of bedsMy under light in my microwave went out They came to fix it and tried 2 new bulbs Realizing that it wasn’t just the bulb the changed out the whole microwave They could have just said ” we’re sorry it just doesn’t work” But they didn’t They changed it out to make it right Been here 3 days now and it’s been awesome

Rented a suite for a week The setup was two bedrooms separated by a living room/kitchen Rooms were clean

The beds were fine as well, however they need more choices in pillows My whole family thought the pillows were too firmTvs in all rooms

Nothing Here

Be wary Under construction Filthy

No front office No food No drinks No pool No regular housekeeping Seriously! All the amenities described online are unavailableI would have expected an alert during booking or nearer to arrival that the hotel would be completely down for maintenance Especially for Memorial Day weekend Hopefully we can find an alternative hotel or just stay away all dayTrash bags line the halls outside of every other door and guests meander around collecting supplies carting them off to their rooms Stains, hair, grime, greasy fingerprints, and layers of dirt welcomed us to our suite The kitchen houses broken GFCI outlets and appliances that have seen better days Inexplicably the entryway floor is new This can’t be the same 3-star hotel reviewers are raving about cleanlinessExceptionally, the staff are amazing and wonderful I don’t know how they manage

I read reviews on this hotel after I had already booked and was not looking forward to my stay So many negative reviews and was very surprised walking into the lobby Wasn’t at all like ppl had described

This hotel was great ! Nice, clean, inviting etc Staff was extremely friendly and easy to speak too The rooms were awesome n spacious Beds were comfortable, especially the pillows There was a sofa in the room with 2 small round tables that were perfect to sit at and eat/relax at It had a stand up shower which I like way more then a tub I am the kind of person who gets uncomfortable with hotels and germs etc So I bring my own pillowcases, blankets and such but be had forgotten everything except my pillowcases and was relieved at how clean the sheets and blankets were Even when I cleaned all the surfaces myself with Lysol wipes they were already clean Usually I find stuff I rather not while doing this Overall I would return and recommend anyone staying here I gave 4 stats only bc I believe every place can always improve Oh and FREE breakfast is always nice when staying at a hotel

Just ok Upon check in I was asked if I wanted housekeeping I answered yes

When I can back to my room the following night housekeeping never came I asked the gal at the front desk about it and she said I was on the schedule for the following day Fine So the next morning on my way out I asked again to make sure I was getting housekeeping that day A different girl stayed no, I was not in the schedule for cleaning I asked to be added considering I have been asking since check in and she said no i could only get towels Are you kidding? Aside from the lack of customer service, the room was not that clean when I checked in and it felt like there was moisture in the room It’s a really dated hotel The poolIs meh Don’t get fooled by all the nice pictures… it’s not that nice!
