Hands down the best hotels i stayed in a while On the road trip down to south, my family didn’t drive far enough to our expected destination and left with no hotel at 1am All hotels i called were fully booked

Front desk staff offered us one room with no show when we arrived at 2am He offered that huge suite room at the regular room price and extended our checkout to later time to allow us to rest! Room was huge, clean and well maintained Location is just off of 95 making our trip more convenient A huge shout out to Paul, who was the manager at the floor when we arrived Thank you for accommodating us!

Xavier

After my semi truck had broken down my manager reserved multiple nights here I’ve done plenty of traveling and stayed in many hotels but the operating manager Paul made the hotel feel amazing In the morning there was a complimentary breakfast that was ever rotating in new items each day

The gym was extremely clean and had all the gear one would need The staff are friendly and accommodating If you need a night or multiple nights to stay choose this hotel The money is well worth it here

Jake Layman

The hotel is not only physically in excellent condition, but more importantly the staff are extremely kind and friendly In particular, a gentleman named (I believe), Mr Patel, was exceptionally pleasant to deal with

They cook their own cookies – and it is extremely rare for a Hampton Inn to even have cookies near the coffee to begin with As someone who stays in about 110 hotels a year, I recommend this place It is not often that I take the time to review a hotel

My sister had a wedding this past weekend at the Sheraton! It was the perfect! The venue was fantastic Our wedding coordinators – Kathleen B until she went until maternity leave and then we had Stephanie D were TOP NOTCH

They were always available to answer any questions that we had They provided my sister and mother with 5 star service and met them many times to make sure that the details were perfect The hall was beautiful The video they had running outside the hall was a special touch that upgraded the event The hotel block was perfect as well they kept us all on the same floor so we had an awesome time before and after the wedding I would recommend this venue and hotel to anyone looking for a 5 star staff, hotel, event planner and all around venue!!! We will be back Thank you Sheraton for making my sisters special day FANTASTIC!!!!

It’s my first time staying at this hotel The hotel was quiet and not too busy when my wife and I were there The staff are nice and the room is clean

The breakfast buffet could be better for its price But then again, the friendly and attentive staff, the quietness and cleanliness more than made up for its lack in food selectionsWould also be nice if the hotel upgrades the lobby, restaurant, hallways and rooms None of these made my experience any worse but would help create a more luxurious and inviting ambience especially since it is the only major hotel in this area since the Marriott near Towson University closed

Brittany Foodie

The toilet did not work I called the front desk twice and no one from “engineering” came I had to keep coming downstairs to use the restroom

The towels were DINGY The sheets were not white I had to sleep on top of the bed fully clothed since the chair had stains all over it also Beyond Disgusted The final time around 12:30am I couldn’t take using the restroom downstairs since there was a prom going on there was no one at the front desk to assist After all that I just went to sleep in my car

We visit this location for a wedding this past Friday and loved it The food was great, the servers were amazing, and the view was breath taking One of the best parts of the evening for my fiance and me was chatting with a bar tender named Mark

He was very socialable and made the best drinks! He even went out of the way to make us a special drink we had never heard of Best drinks ever I hope to make it for us, as he gave step by step instructions to make it So if you are ever hear and want to try a great drink, Mark is your guy Thanks for a wonderful even Four Seasons!

I was married at the Four Seasons at Baltimore in September 2012 I continued to frequent the hotel 1 to 3 times a year, spending thousands of dollars each visit I have spent over $100,000 dollars at this hotel since 2012

On August 13, 2022 I did damage their “$4,000” TV I was told that I should pay to replace the TV We settled on $60000 dollars, after significant negotiations I can’t shake the sadness I feel with the result It feels very unfair I realize may have damaged the TV but I also know how much value Ive brought this company year over year I’m sad because it will be hard for me to come back to any Four Seasons hotel that puts profit above relationships I am fairly young in my vacation life with at least 40 years left of amazing opportunity That said, sadly it will not include the Four Seasons

Michele P

As expected, the hotel room (Lighthouse Suite 1511), the location, the concierge, spa, in-room & valet services were top notch The online booking process as well as navigating the app for quick chats with concierge (Thanks Michael for the flowers delivery & birthday cake!) were key to the experience which was to celebrate my partner’s birthday All of the staff including Damien were friendly & helpful, plus Moses was able to direct me to a barbershop app for a much needed haircut

Also, I’d like to thank the spa manager who mitigated a slight moment of displeasure when we were unable to take full benefit of all the spa services after a VIP couples appointment He assured us of access for the remainder of our stay, provided birthday champagne & truffle chocolates as well as entertainment ideas during our stay I also want to add a special mention of Ryan and Jasmine who performed our massages – absolutely outstanding, relaxing experience for us both Our room was impeccably cleaned, had great flow & views (bonus in earshot of concerts below), as well as comfortable bedding Lastly, we patronized both the Azumi & Bygone restaurants which also did not disappoint Dinner at Azumi was fabulous & the brunch buffet on Sunday at Bygone was an equally delicious feast & the perfect end to a thoroughly enjoyable getaway

I have been here a total of 4 days and I can tell you this place is the best by far in Baltimore! The staff is absolutely amazing! From the amazing front desk staff being very attentive to the amazing breakfast attendants The food every morning has been absolutely amazing! She is such a sweet lady that is working in the breakfast area The hotel everywhere you go smells so fresh! They really have chosen 5 star employees that actually like working here

I will definitely book again when in the area!

Shanah Bell

The hotel room itself was nice, spacious and clean However, the front desk staff was horrible With the exception of Tasha, who was here the morning we checked out only, everyone else at the front desk was rude, short, and extremely dismissive

I asked questions a few times since we don’t know the area and didn’t know where to fill up our water bottles Each time I was given an answer of “I don’t know” and told to wait prior to that because the front desk personnel was either on their cell phone talking to a friend or playing a gameI’ve worked in the hotel industry for years and have never seen this kind of behavior repeatedly As a customer, I expect for the person in interacting with at the front desk to greet me, be friendly and helpful If your don’t like speaking or interacting with customers, then a customer facing job isn’t what you should be doingThe breakfast was once of the worst we’ve encountered also It was sad, lacking and not full most of the time A couple of our kids went to the gas station in the same parking lot to get breakfast bowls insteadOverall, while the rooms were nice and they were pet friendly, I can’t say we’d ever come back or recommend this particular hotel

Kay K

I can’t say enough about the staff at this hotel I’ve never stayed anywhere with such friendly, accommodating people Everyone at this hotel is just the nicest person you would want to meet

And the breakfast is outstanding I was there to support a family member in a Johns Hopkins hospital – actually she moved between 2 hospitals during my week-long stay – so the location was perfect for me, but might be out of the way for some They have special rates for customers associated with Johns Hopkins, so book through them They also have a free shuttle to the hospitals on week days My room was quiet, sunny, and well appointed It was clean when I arrived Rooms are only cleaned between bookings

I booked a short one night trip for my little girl’s first birthday party The staff was great and notice it was just my two girls and I so they helped me out tremendously Can’t thank them enough for being so kindhearted and professional

I would definitely recommend staying here when you travel Rooms are definitely as advertised and very clean I could smell the cleaning products Very nice establishment and breakfast was great I’ve stayed in plenty of Hilton hotels but so far this is my favorite stay Definitely coming back Thank you again

Sonia

Was super excited to stay at this hotel and picked it because of its great location and proximity to the inner harbor The architecture inside and outside is so pretty & very historic The front desk manager (Ralph) however managed to take away from our experience on the very first day

He couldn’t care to talk to a customer who was waiting in the lobby for 20 min for a valet In his opinion, the customer should have come to him and asked for help instead of waiting for the valet When my husband asked for help because of the long wait, Ralph tried to justify the long wait My husband is a Diamond member and stays at Hilton hotels every week He knows the ropes and understands good customer service and quick resolution of problems Ralph kept trying to explain his point of view (regarding the long wait for parking) in an effort to argue his case and prove us wrong Ralph also made a mention of the fact that my husband probably didn’t understand his explanation very well! Having travelled the world and having stayed at some of the best Hilton hotels, I can unequivocally say that this manager represented the hotel chain very poorly!!!Here’s a tip for Ralph: When a customer is unhappy about a situation, apologize and fix it instead of justifying yourself and then coaching the customer about what they should have done differently!!PS Received an email & phone call with management who apologized and tried to make it right…appreciate the effort!

Laura Scarbrough

Everyone working at this hotel was so nice Valet, front desk ladies, cooks, housekeepers, etc The hospitality was on point

The rooms were super clean The breakfast was fabulous every day The location is PERFECT and just a short walk to the harbor The pool was so warm and we had it to ourselves! We will stay here everytime we’re in Baltimore now Thank you so much for making our vacation so much more delightful

Would’ve been much better if we’d had curtains in the eastern facing windows Guess they want you up early Everything is clean

Bed is very firm Building looks like they have recently renovated itAddition: there were only electrical outlets on one side of the bed No table or lamp or anything for the other side We were in room 501 Our friends were in 204 and they did have curtains A/C worked great If anyone used the spiral staircase everyone in the building could hear it To be fair, it is a really old building Not sure I like the “no contact” and all electronic check in I’d at least have liked to have had a phone number for someone if I had a problem Decent place but probably wo t stay there again mainly due to the price being so high and how little you get for it

D S

The positive: The unit was clean Bed was comfortable Air-conditioning worked

Nice TV in the room Neat looking building from the exterior They honored the AAA price for the unit (10% discount) Truly a contactless facility if your worried about CovidThe negative: No staff in the building to help you if you need it When you do need to contact them you have to contact them via email and response time varied significantly (it was never immediate, but they did eventually respond) The phone number for the facility online is disconnected Limited number of electrical outlets in the room making it difficult with 3 people are in the room No where to store your luggage temporarily on check out day if you have a late afternoon flight (there is no front desk)— contacted them via email and was only given an option of paying an additional $45 for a late checkout which was very inconvenient “Cleaning fee” Raises the price significantly of the unit per night We had no one clean our unit while we were there for only 2 nights (our choice), but still paid the flat $75 fee for the cleaning For the same $150 I paid for each night I could’ve stayed at a Hyatt downtown and had breakfast provided plus be much closer to downtown and all of the restaurants/activities Instead had to pay for Uber to get downtown because really did not feel safe walking around the neighborhood

Alice Gottesman

While my stay at the Hotel Brexton was overall a positive experience, I did want to share why I am only giving it 3 stars:- The check-in process is confusing You need to go through it digitally since the hotel is all contactless There is no one physically at the hotel to help you

– The elevator inspection and registration expired in January 2022 I reached out to their virtual front desk about updating it and did not receive a response- Misleading amenities Microwave was listed as an amenity, but the room did not have one—there was one microwave in the lobby Netflix was listed as an amenity, but I had to sign into my own account on their Roku- The bathroom sink was very difficult to turn off and water would sometimes overflow from the handle- The water temperature of the bathroom sink and the shower seemed to have two settings: hot and scorching hot- Paid for a cleaning fee but the room was never cleaned during my 5 night stay- I’ve seen similar reviews, which concerns me regarding the hotel’s diligence in addressing known issuesAll of that said, the room was clean, comfortable, and got lots of natural light However, it’s overpriced for what you get and is best for someone low-maintenance

My wife and I stayed here 20 years ago We went last Wednesday for our anniversary Hotel staff was great

View was great Bar was great Bed was very comfortable My only complaint would be I could not get the room as cold as I wanted it but I think we were facing the sun most of the day with the curtains open because of the great view!

Christopher Ferry

My wife surprised me with a last minute reservation to spend the night at Marriott Waterfront to celebrate a belated wedding anniversary The location is nice with a great view of the inner harbor The staff was very friendly and accommodating

Our room was modern and clean We were both very pleased with our stay and look forward to being able to visit again for an extended stay in the near future

Charles Cody

I had a very nice stay Everything was great I was in town for a concert at Pier 6 and the location of this hotel was perfect

The view from my room was greatThe only complaint was the elevator situation It was a nightmare every time I needed to use it Bad to the point that people were wagering money on when they would show up To be fair the hotel was packed when I was thereI had a nice stay and I’d definitely return

We came to Baltimore to visit some friends and stayed here We checked in and had some issues

gum on the floor (that was missed in cleaning), our room was only cleaned 1 out of the 4 nights we were there, we had to continuously ask for towels, and the breakfast was not worth the amount per night The positives are that the desk staff was very quick to answer our questions and address our concerns The biggest plus of this hotel is LOCATIONlocationLOCATION!!!! You are less than 10 mins from major shopping (Target,Mall etc) and eateries Easily accessible to highway and AVOIDING TOLLS!!!

Daniel Nealy

It was a hotel room Breakfast was lacking quite a bit My girlfriend and I went to breakfast the first morning, one hour before breakfast was to end and there was one carton of milk and nothing better than sandwiches and soggy/bagged waffles

The pool looked ready to use, but there was a chain holding the gate shut The ATM and one of the elevators were both out of order

Jonathan McHugh

A surprisingly good experience here Definitely feels like the Marriot takeover brought quality to the brand Our 1 bedroom “suite” was decent, felt like a good sized studio apt minus the kitchen (tho there was a microwave, so bonus points)

The bed was a bit to be desired but fine enough for a quick stay (2 nights for a family gathering) Has Netflix/Youtube built in to the tvs which was nice Downstairs they serve bfast, coffee from 7-10 and its limited but decent, perfect for a quick bite Theres a small convenience stall there you can get some essentials Pool was closed while there but looks small tbhTheres also plenty to do close by, the Ave at White Marsh is walking distance away But they sell out Quick on weekends, so if youre gonna book, do it a week or so in advance Parking is free also w your stay Our rate was cheaper than Airbnb’s in the area, so we’d probs book again if we come back down

The Ivy has become are second home We are planning another getaway in August See you soon

The finest hotel we have ever stayed in We default to Marriott and have stayed at legendary, impressive brands The Ivy outclasses them all

From the moment we arrived and handed over our car to the valet, we knew we were going to be cared for by a well-trained TEAM Every single member has obviously been trained in service and teamwork They were simply outstandingThe concierges all had a broad knowledge of the surrounding area but were obsessed with making sure we received the experience we wanted They were pleasant and engaged without being garralous They paid attention When I highlighted a possible error on a 2rd party travel website, they took it personally and got to the bottom of it They understand service is not perfection, but a relentless commitment to teamwork and continuous improvementThe food was splendid The breakfasts were delicious, the daily afternoon teas were refreshing, relaxing, and welcome Dinner was always deliciousSo the price is higher than usual-and 100% worth it Yes, they provided value to us as clients and we would gladly return Spectacular time!

I never am one to complain because I am a very understanding human being and have worked in the service industry for years That being said, this was the worst hotel experience of our life My family booked this hotel because we always have great Hilton experiences

However, during our stay we checked in very late ( due to travel delays) When we opened the door to our room we could smell the smoke so badly it was making us sick and my kids slept with face masks on so they wouldn’t smell it The bathroom fixtures were falling off the walls Dirt piles built up in the corners of the bathroom and awful stains all over the carpets from the living room area to the bedroom All of the furniture was scratched and should have been thrown out 10 years ago The picture of the room I booked and paid for was absolutely not the room I got My family didn’t feel safe, however checking in so late we got 4 hours of sleep we could not get out fast enough When I went to complain about the experience the only thing the person said to me was “ well why didn’t you complain so we could change your room?” Because it was 1:30am and we had been traveling for 14 hours I have never been so upset and disgusted by a hotel before Please do your research before staying at this hotel I promise it’s not worth it There’s plenty of options in this area Don’t get scammed like we did

deborah Hildt

We have stayed here a few times ! It is close to shopping and restaurants Right off I 95 This time we brought our fur babies and only had to pay a one time fee for the whole stay

I would of given them a 5 however some of the staff wasn’t real friendly! Also the rooms we very clean and nice However the refrigerator froze everything in the fridge, there wasn’t any coffee cups had to ask for some We had a king bed I think they could of used some new fitted sheets They were off the corners Over all it is a nice place and not bad prices We will definitely go back when we are in town

I stayed overnight with my daughter and she said it was the best day of her life! Great location, lovely staff, clean spacious room and the indoor pool was a bonus! We walked to the historic ships and the National Aquarium, the restaurant was not open on the night of our stay but the hotel provided a list of local eateries and the breakfast cafe was ideal We will definitely be back!

Well me and the wife stayed here for an anniversary getaway The service was absolutely amazing Ms

Michell at the front desk sent us chocolate covered strawberries and champagne Complete surprise for us We were just having regular conversation and she sent us a gift Very attentive and caring to our needs and privacy Mr James the concierge made sure we barely lifted a finger or the phone He knows all the good spots close by We loved the view and the staff

James Coutourier

The staff is great with good hospitality The location is actually even better, right across the street from the beginning of the harbor A very peaceful hotel but It’s way overpriced

Very old looking with a weird carpet stench Chipped walls, chipped doors Looks like an old Catholic Church Doesn’t have a good view either compared to other local hotels Old dirty carpet ! It was a burn mark in the unattached foot rest not to mention it didn’t even match Just a badly designed hotel for the price Needs remodeling

The staff was so welcoming! I felt like I was wanted & appreciated! This started from the valet, front desk, cleaning professionals, chef Robinson and the immaculately cleaned and prepped suite! There were cleaning wipes at my disposal The entire hotel was clean, bright and fresh smelling! The bed was amazing ( THE BEST) The bathroom was spotless ( with no lingering hairs in sight)

It was really quiet! I cannot wait to visit again! What a great experience!!! The best hotel experience I’ve had in the city of Baltimore! This is my new spot!!!

Residence Inn exceeded all my expectations and I would definitely stay here again!!Both of my rooms (studio & one bedroom) were so spacious and the hotel itself was very clean The reason I took off a star is in my bathroom I found items left in one of the rooms by a previous guest Plus the shower in the other room did not look clean at all

I informed the front desk and someone came up and took care of the situation Otherwise the hotel was great

Joi Mackall

The lobby is beautiful and security is helpful when you are lost like me Warning if you plan a night’s stay I hope noise doesn’t bother you The parties are amazing I will book a stay here just to have a good time

15 to get into the roof top deck on the night I went The food was very tasty but pricey I got 2 crab cake sliders for $14

Pretty good! The layout of our King/pullout room was railroaded, so kids had to walk through our room to go to the bathroom in the night, but it was great for a blended family w 2 teens to have a space that divided into two rooms Staff were accommodating and the bed was comfortable Breakfast was very good and the location was great for walking to the aquarium

The historical building is charming, though expect to hear city noise overnight per other reviews Thanks for the solid stay!

Great Hotel in the heart of Inner Harbor, Baltimore, MD Able to walk to everything-great for families visiting places like Port Discovery children’s museum, Aquarium, Ships, and Science Museum! They offer an amazing breakfast every morning (eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, cereal, etc) They offer heavy appetizers every evening such as Spaghetti with sauce, fajitas, meatballs, popcorn, etc from 5:30-7(goes over 7pm if busy)

Saves on meals! Spacious rooms, 2 queenbeds with couch, apt size refrigerator with freezer and ice maker, comfy beds, kitchenette stocked with dishes, silverware Extremely nice staff, and very clean Will definitely be returning back the next time we visit as they continue to completely revitalize the harbor back to its old self!

Stacey Mac

The staff is very friendly and the location is convenient to get to all the Baltimore attractions Antonio works very hard in the breakfast area to keep everything well stocked in the buffet area Our bed was comfy and the kitchen area was nice

I wish the room was a bit bigger to have a chair or couch to sit on, but we made ourselves comfortable in the common areas around the building instead Would recommend and stay again!

Stayed here for 2021 Indigenous Peoples’ weekend with the missus, great hotel! Like that it’s right next to the highway just off the tunnel, so we were able to get on the road and hit areas north and south without any issues A fairly recent construction, so nothing was out of place at the time In walking distance to a few restaurants and bars for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! If you’re into cruise ships, hopefully you get a high enough room where you can see a docked ship on the weekends (generally Sundays)

All in all, 10/10 would stay here once again!

The lady at the front desk was super nice and attentive The lady at the bar seemed like she had better things to do that weren’t exactly customer serviceThe bathroom in my room is pretty gross

What you may not see in the picture is easy to clean hair and mold buildupThe glassware is nothing I’d drink from either Finger/lip prints all over itAlso, I’m not sure what deviant act required all the scotch tape on the ceiling but said deviant or at least housekeeping should have addressed this before I showed upIf you want “ultramodern” maybe this is your place If you want a properly cleaned room, noIt’s a shame because this seems like a cool little area

Stayed one night prior to an 8 night cruise aboard RCCL’s Enchantment of the Seas Very convenient to cruise port and easy parking Upon check-in we were given a beautiful room with a view of the cruise port

Very comfortable bed and spacious room Hotel is located in a safe area with many good restaurants and a grocery store in close walking distance Will definitely stay here again for future cruises

The property is set at an amazing location, central to everything is Baltimore I felt immersed in the city with unmatched views on the harbor Accommodations were plush and comfortable

There wasn’t much more that could be asked for To put the icing on the cake Maurice and the rest of the Staff were welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure that met and exceeded all expectations The communication, before, and during my stay left quite an impression He is certainly an asset to that hotel The one small critique I have for the property was a lack of TV in the living area facing those gorgeous Harbor Views

Our stay started off a bit rocky because the room we got wasn’t the cleanest The next day i wanted to check out early but Crystal at the front desk was wonderful She was able to switch our room and that just made everything 100x better

The room she moved us to was extremely clean and so much more comfortable we decided to extend our stay by one more day Without Crystal’s help I can honestly say we wouldn’t have stayed Great job in hiring a gem like Crystal She helped us sleep better and enjoy our stay while visiting family

My wife and I booked this hotel in advance for Friday to Monday and everything seemed fine We checked in between 9-10pm on February 18, 2022 with no problems So we proceeded to the room and everything seemed decent

So we took a shower to go out for awhile After getting something to eat and drink then return to the hotel about 1:30am only to find that our hotel door was WIDE OPENED with the deadbolt extended so the door could not close properly because of the extended deadbolt lock, so now anyone and everyone could enter and exit our room at their pleasure Thinking back as we were leaving our room to get something to eat 11:15pm that night, I noticed a couple of rooms down the hallway that was unsecured with the deadbolts extended so the doors couldn’t close all the way but I did not think much about those two unsecured rooms until we returned around 1:30am So Iimmediately go to the front desk to lodge MY COMPLAINT about the door being unsecured The hotel asked if anything was missing and nothing seemed to missing but I did leave several of my personal and business credit in my bag in the hotel room Now I’m extremely concerned about my personal and business financial security being compromised at this point A thief doesn’t need to physically have your cards but just take pictures of those cards and accounts Now at this point I’m trying get something resolved and I will have to notify all my financial institutions about what has occurred at this hotel We’ve now VERY VERY UNHAPPY GUESTS

Every single person we interacted with (bellhop, valets, servers, bartenders, concierge, housekeeping) was professional, enthusiastic, and helpful By far the best experience I have ever had with hotel staff-I feel like every person truly went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfectThe building itself is beautiful-full of marble and ornate columns

I appreciate that a lot of attention was paid to historical details and maintaining the feel of the original buildingOur room was nicely decorated and very quiet We didn’t hear anyone in the halls and we barely heard any street noise The hotel gym was a lot bigger than I expected and well stocked with machines and equipmentWe will absolutely stay again next time we are in Baltimore!

Loved my stay here! Everyone was so kind and friendly Of course the hotel is amazing but the breakfast was the cherry on top ! I ordered the veggie eggs; and they were loaded with veggies! The sweet potato hash (words cannot describe) reminds me of my great granny’s cooking 🥲 fair price/ great portionsOnly thing upsetting: I woke up 3 am dehydrated and went to the mini bar to find lack of choices and drinks weren’t cold

(It was too cold to run out)

We discovered a bed bug problem in our luxury suite (one of the spa rooms) which we got refunded for, but it obviously ruined the stay Especially because they were fully booked that night and had no contingency plan for relocating us My partner and I stayed here one time before that and both times the hotel service was not great

No fault to them, they were super kind and did whatever they could for our check ins and the bed bug issue The problem was that we waited in long lines for a single person behind the desk who was also answering phones for the entire hotel They just seem chronically understaffed and scrambling to do things for everyone in a timely manner It gives me such mixed feelings because the rooms are awesome and those jetted tubs are amazing (they’re honestly the top reason we came back, along with the large windows that make the room feel even bigger than it already is) It’s such a cool and well-preserved historic building I’d just be cautious of these issues when deciding whether it would be worth the cost of your stay Oh and if you do stay there, make sure you check under the mattress for bed bugs!

I was so excited when I found this B&B so close to the Inner Harbor for a short weekend getaway with my fiancé so we could watch the Yankees play the OriolesBill and his wife were exceptional hosts We were greeted as we arrived and shown to our room which was the New York suite

We got a tour of the home and of the room and shown fun little things they’ve addedOur room was SO nice The bed was dangerous I couldn’t bring myself to get out of it! The room itself was spacious and comfortable, but then there was the bathroom I have never been so enthralled by a bathroom before There was a jacuzzi tub big enough for two and a double shower with beautiful stone walls I felt like I was staying in a luxury hotel but with a way better and less corporate feelWe also got breakfast and since it was a weekend we had the option for hot breakfast made to order I got French toast and my fiancé got scrambled eggs with bacon and hash browns The dining set up is lovely and the food was so good I’ve thought about coming back just for the French toastI cannot wait to stay here again and rave to all of my friends about the best place I’ve ever stayed

I booked this hotel for one night to enjoy the in-room hot tub with my gf Yes, the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable, and everything seemed great until we had a really weird and awkward encounter with the owner, Bill

he showed me the smokers balcony when I was checking in and made it clear that guests could smoke there We got back to the hotel at around 10 PM after a night out in the city, and my gf had medical cannabis that she brought to smoke for herself We were smoking and chatting out on the “smokers balcony”, when Bill abruptly entered the balcony He demanded us to tell him what we were smoking and scolded us for smoking a single cannabis joint, and not letting him know in advance? Keep in mind that medical cannabis is legal in Maryland, and we were outside and alone on the smokers balcony that he showed me He continued to make unnecessary comments that felt discriminating We were left feeling so uncomfortable that we decided to pack our stuff and find another hotel for the night We did not feel comfortable sleeping there after the encounter with Bill, and I will not be booking or recommending this place Great location tho! Be safe

Stayed in the San Francisco room for a night away to celebrate a birthday Room was enormous and very comfortable Bathroom very nice with a spacious, luxurious shower

We have stayed at this hotel every year when my husband has had appointments or surgeries at Johns Hopkins hospital This was the first time that we have felt that the quality of the hotel had gone down significantly as had the quality of the staff The beds were extremely uncomfortable and although we had requested it at check in, we never received housekeeping even once so after 5 days we had piles of trash in the room

Our comforter if you could call it that consisted of the dust ruffle that normally goes on a bed to hide the frame (see picture) and this was what they used as a blanket with a very thin duvet on top of this We asked for blankets at the front desk on our first day but they were never brought to us so we did not sleep comfortably during our entire visit They said they were shortOn blankets but would do their best The staff at the front desk was not downright rude but not friendly and they appeared bothered when we needed to ask them simple questions Although the location is convenient, we are going to look for another hotel to stay at during our monthly visits to Baltimore this coming year If you valet your car don’t expect the valet text service that they use to be working and you will not discover it to be broken until you arrive to pick up your car and find the valet person chatting on a couch instead of getting your vehicle This may or may not be their fault but a faulty text system is what they claim Upon check out I requested a copy of my bill and was told that it would be emailed to me so apparently getting a paper copy at check out was not an option When I did receive the copy of the bill I had been charged twice for valet on a given day which then necessitated a phone call to the hotel in order to get the $3500 charge reversed This was done promptly which I appreciated This has always been our go to hotel and it was sad to see it being managed like this A comfortable stay is a minimum requirement

Great staff, great location, room left MUCH to be desired So to be fair—we booked same day and the thought crossed my mind that we may have ended up with one of the “good enough” rooms that don’t get assigned unless they have to be Check in was great—Yvonne was super welcoming and helpful—confirmed that we asked for 4 extra pillows (our kids are pillow fiends) and off we went

The pillows never showed up (don’t know whose shoulders that falls on) Had trouble getting to the room as either our key card or the card reader in the elevator was messed up—seemed to be a bit of both When we got to the room I got the distinct feeling that something was off For starters, there weren’t 4 towel sets, the hotel-provided body wash was missing, there was missing flatware (which we later found dirty in the dishwasher) and there was coffee and a cup missing It felt like the room hadn’t been turned over since the last guest had stayed…except the trash was empty and the beds appeared clean It was unsettling, I’ll admit My husband told me I was being paranoid but I’m fairly certain the room hadn’t received the attention it was supposed to We tried to call down to the front desk but the phone wasn’t working and every time we hit the front desk button on it the line would ring and ring and then hang up on us There was no binder or info about the hotel in the room with an actual number listed for the front desk so we couldn’t call down either Not sure if that was because of covid or was just missing Not a big deal but would have been nice to have at least the TV channels listed so that we could more easily avoid content that wasn’t appropriate for our children Overall the room was somewhat run down Chipped furniture, wallpaper peeling, slow draining sink, melted spots on the carpet, linoleum in the kitchen peeling up…The couch was honestly dismal—the cushions so squashed that when you sat on it you ended up sitting on the front lip of the structure (both uncomfortable and made legs fall asleep) The first night (of the 2 we stayed) I cut my foot on a line of exposed carpet tacks between the kitchen and living space My husband flattened them with a coin and his shoe I did bring this (and the sink) to the attention of the front desk (after having to go down in person) and they offered to send someone up and we declined as we had fixed the tacks and didn’t care to have anyone working in the room Oddly there was no dish soap (but there was dishwasher powder)—so we ended up washing dishes with hand soap Just FYI there was no corkscrew in the room—I suppose you could request one but we were too lazy to fight the elevator (literally—the card reader worked about 50% of the time by the 10th try—we rode up and down almost every time we used it multiple times trying to get to the floor we wanted) to go to the front since we couldn’t call downParking is valet for $35 with in and out privileges or self parking for $25/day with no in and out privileges The garage for self park is attached to the hotel and can be reached from insideThe pool is actually in the Maryland Athletic Club, which is in the building complex They have an agreement to use the gym and pool Both are nicely equipped overall from an equipment standpoint—-the pools were clean (have seen better days from a coating standpoint) It’s salt water based instead of chlorine, so not as harsh The kids are only allowed in the splash pool, which is heated to probably 85 degrees and max depth is 45 feet, minimum depth is 3 feet and it’s a stairway entry There is a lap pool that is much cooler water and a larger pool that has a sloped entry that adults and teens can use There is also a hot tub The locker rooms are well equipped with a sauna, showers (with soap and shampoo/conditioner) and a suit spinner You have to take your hotel key and photo ID with you to gain access and have to have shoes on until the locker room They provide pool towels You have to shower before getting in the pool (locker room or pool deck)

Itz_Aidan 27

The staff was nice, our other hotel canceled on us last minute and we were able to get a room here, the room was nice but there was a weird red stain on the carpet outside the bathroom, everything was fine until it was time to leave and Valet lost our car keys We’re currently waiting for someone to drive 5 hours to bring us a spare key Awful experience
