Overall, this is a cool hotel It’s a nice modern, eclectic and funky hotel with the most technical bathroom I’ve ever seenThe pool area is very nice except they should make the music louder to drown out the highway sound since the hotel does sit right off of the highway

The big problem with this hotel is the noise level in the rooms I’ve been told by a friend of mine that if you have a room overlooking the courtyard, you will hear a lot of noise Well, my room was overlooking Tony’s restaurant on the upper floor That wasn’t the issue but the front desk people were You could hear them laughing at 6:00 am My room was closest to the desk The walls are very thin so you can hear everythingOther than that it was a pleasant stay and Tony’s restaurant was superb as was the bar Thursday nights are crowded and fun I would go back again but I would ask for a more quiet location for my room

Felayne Cruz

The vibe gave us modern chic! This is more for couples and adult (girls trips) not family oriented Definitely $$$$My husband and I stayed Friday – Sunday and nights were litt ! All of their party rooms were booked each night There was a lot of incoming but the rooms were sound proof so we didn’t mind

– rooms are small and equipped with the basics , they have TOTO toilets we love those lol-The restaurant requires reservations but you can just sit at the bar-breakfast is included but the menu included -Fresh fruit , coffee ,cereal, boiled, eggs, yogurt, pastries and orange juice! They have a separate breakfast menu where you can buy breakfast sandwiches! At a good price and amazing quality(Their premium coffee was good)

While this is a remodeled Howard Johnson’s from years back, it is now the coolest hotel in Greenwich They did a fantastic job converting this into a modern boutique type hotel Very well done

Our room was amply sized with modern technology throughout Loved it Highly recommended The attached restaurant (Tony’s) is also one of the hippest restaurants in Greenwich

I frequently need to arrive in this area around 10 pm and leave at 4:30 so I’m always looking for a deal because this is basically just me having a nap

So far this is my favorite place I just found it last night I didn’t give it the fifth star because bathtub and the foyer could have used an upgrade and I was able to hear people in the adjoining rooms bathrooms and in the hall but all in all great for the money I’m definitely going to stay here again

Lesli Mitchell

I was very disappointed While thr front desk people were very kind, the service was really bad House keeping service was bad, even when we asked for AT LEAST every 3rd day

They cluttered the bathroom with extra towels and soaps everywhere so we couldn’t even put out daily necessities out There is not enough space for 12 towels, bath mats and washcloths It felt like a storage unit Dark water spots on the ceiling and the bed had a deep hole in the middle It was terrible on your back I do not recommend unless they replace the old mattresses, fix the ceiling and get housekeeping for every other day minimal

Lilly Valentin

Quiet little place tucked away on Route 7 The room was nice, the bathroom was nice, the mini bar was nice, everything worked as it should have Didn’t use the pool because you can smell the chlorine halfway down the hall BEFORE you get to the door

The pool water was as murky as LI Sound is year ’round Dropping 2 stars for the horrible pillows and the 2 sleepless nights I suffered as a result of the pillows And of course, the No Housekeeping Rule is in full effect here Just call the front desk at anytime if you need anything, they’ll tell you to come down and get it yourself! I remember when Hilton was an ACTUAL NAME with honor, prestige, and top quality everything!

Our stay was just great The room was lovely with a comfortable bed We had a private balcony with a table and chairs where we were able to sit for a quiet dinner

The inn is only a couple of minutes walk from downtown but is quiet, with a large garden and trees We even saw wild rabbits The breakfast was great – a wonderful quiche and great coffee The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Lucas We would definitely recommend the inn and hope to stay here again

William Starrs

My partner and I had a wonderful time at Stanton House Inn – we both agreed that it felt like we were transported back to an earlier, more urbane eraThe room we stayed in (28) was comfortable and spacious, as were the common areas The breakfast was delicious – I’m still dreaming of the (I think it was) German egg bake

I could eat that every dayBut the features that set Stanton House Inn apart are hospitality and communication In particular, they make great use of text message as a communication medium, which was very convenientI was lucky enough to find a few quiet moments to chat with one of the I suppose the term is “Innkeepers”, as charming and quaint as that sounds, and it was immediately clear how thoughtful, attentive, and friendly they are It’s a labor of love, and that shines throughI don’t normally leave reviews, but Stanton House Inn deserves one We’re looking forward to the next time we’re in the area

J. Timothy Morris

Central location Lovely bed and breakfast Great communication from staff before and during stay

The house is quaint but substantial, a bit “creaky” – like an old fashioned New England bed and breakfast We had a very large room (Room 39) albeit with a Queen sized bed Staff is attentive and helpful We stayed 6 nights – SO MUCH BETTER than a hotel room Ample parking Walking distance to a little food, beverage, retail area and easy walk to Greenwich Avenue

Another Player

Comfortable hotel, a litt strange if only for the fact for more conventional travelers that there was no face to face interaction for check in or check out Definitely will be double checking that I wasn’t double charged by some mistake of lack of communication between the booking site and this systemOtherwise it was very nice for a nights stop over

Decent bed and furnishings, quickly heated water for a shower, easy to access and use temperature controls

Lexie Griffith

This hotel had tons of potential with a cool look and a restaurant on site! I stayed here for a business trip and enjoyed my room, very clean and cool decor The restaurant was pretty yummy and easy, just steps from my door However, once I decided to call it a night, it was next to impossible to fall asleep with loud blaring music from the restaurant downstairs and skews of people yelling outside my window

There was also a terrible sewer smell somewhere nearby that filled my room even with all doors and windows closed I wanted to love it, but not being able to have a quiet enjoyment until the music stopped at 1am was not up to par for me

Marc Maertens (Home)

Higher end motel but certainly not a hotel Room is ok but needs more lightHuge issue and reason for low score is the very annoying constant loud noise from a generator or something similar we had in our room 311, coming from below

Impossible to sleep Called ‘reception’ but nothing could be done Did not care at allRecommendation: look elsewhere!!!!

Overall we had a good stay at this hotel The junior suite was spacious and the lobby and ballrooms were nice There were some drawbacks: the staff, while nice, was overwhelmed

We tried calling multiple times from the garage to be let in and no one picked up, and the front desk staff was often on two phones simultaneously Second, the room safe didn’t work in our room plus multiple other rooms in our group Third, while the room was generally clean, the room mirror had some stains on it and the hallway carpets could also be cleaner Fourth, the fold out couch bed was very springy and didn’t seem comfortable

Slime Bros

THE STAY WAS TERRIBLE! THE FOOD WAS INEDIBLE! I BOOKED MY ROOM 2 MONTHS IN ADVANCE AND IT TOOK THEM 5 HOURS TO PREPARE THE ROOM AFTER MY ARRIVAL THESE PEOPLE NEED TO TAKE A MANAGEMENT CLASS I WENT INTO AN ELEVATOR AND IT TOOK ME INTO ANOTHER BUILDING! I WAS HERE ON UN BUSINESS AND THEY SINGLE HANDEDLY ENABLED UKRAINE TO COMMIT WARCRIMES

I love this hotel the beds were fantastic

The air conditioning worked very well all night long The room had a combo of tile and laminate flooring which was very clean! No yucky wall to wall carpet hiding God knows what It’s an older hotel that has been well maintained and renovated It feels modern and fresh The rooms are nicely decorated with new and modern furniture but it doesn’t feel cold The rooms are bright with huge windows and lots of sufficient lighting The front desk staff couldn’t be any more pleasant and accommodating The price was great We had 2 beds in the room Shower had a rainshower head and a regular one ! Check out is noon! How civilized This Marriott will be our go to when heading to southern CT or NY Thanks for a great stay!

We visited for just the spa and it was absolutely amazing The manager is fantastic, a genuinely wonderful person The masseuse is a truly gifted practitioner

Hotel is clean but could use some sprucing up Our room with 2 very comfortable queen beds was large and easy to move around in but the toilet/tub room was very tight The lights by the beds had individual reading lights but they were only on when the big light was on

It was quiet when we were there and we had no problems sleeping The location is very convenient to downtown Stamford and uptown It’s easy to get in and out of and easy to park The staff is pleasant and very helpful It would have been nice if the pool and fitness room had been open

Hannah Kelly

Room was clean and comfortable Standard room included a fridge and microwave Shower pressure was great! Can’t comment on the breakfast because I slept through it- they close at 9:30 on weekdays

Great location through, walking distance from many shops, restaurants, and a grocery store Only criticism of the hotel is that the doors really SLAM shut when you enter or exit your room- maybe not the best place for a light sleeper

Ravisha Ranga

As much as I trust the brand name, this specific branch of the hotel made me highly unhappy with their services The staff didn’t bother to come and attend our cleaning call for a minimum of 1 hour and adding onto that was my unattended request for toiletries The customer services can definitely get better than what they are at the moment!

I got tickets to see my favorite comedian They turn their lobby in to a comedy club! It was a great time and super convenient to be able to watch the show, then walk a few feet over to my room! The staff were all super friendly The room itself was extremely clean which is always the most important thing for me

I didn’t like how there is no fan in the bathroom because it got extremely moist in there after a shower But that’s just a pet peeve of mine and was almost okay due to the awesome shower pressure So really, it was a great stay and I’d absolutely go back if I was in the area

Karen Corrine

Convenient location when staying in Connecticut Several dining and shopping locations within walking distance The beach is a very short and safe walk away

Staff is friendly and helpful Rooms facing the front can be noisy with the morning traffic, so be prepared to wake up early! If you need to sleep in, request a room facing the seasonal pool which includes a peaceful area with various wildlife and a few benches to relax and enjoy a morning coffee I’ve visited twice now, (once in the fall and again this spring) and will certainly be returning for another stay this summer!

Rating the restaurant only – to begin, the service was attentive and helpful and the bloody Mary’s were delicious which is why we gave 2 stars However, the food left much to be desired The steak and eggs ordered rare and sunny side up arrived well past well done and burnt

The hash browns were taste-less and had the feeling of being precooked hours before and we’re left sitting in a warmer The one redeeming dish was the grilled cheese and tomato soup which was edible and the bread basket which was served warm Would not return for brunch!

Art Barrios

Review for the restaurant: Really enjoyed our time at Roger Sherman Nice conversation with one of the Co-owners when we arrived The menu looked great and I ordered foie gras terrine appetizer and duck entre

Duck is a good indicator in my opinion of the quality of the menu I’ve had duck at places where it should have been great, and it wasn’t At Roger Sherman, the duck was amazing Everything from food to wine, to cocktails were spot on We will definitely be returning soon

Victoria Gold

We just got back from a stay at the Inn for my 30th birthday weekend We were visiting all the way from Los Angeles! The minute we arrived we were so happy to be there Lovely jazz music was playing in the restaurant

We loved our room (#17 in the carriage house) We are really picky when it comes to beds and the beds were so comfy Water pressure was great and never ran out of hot water Every single meal we had by the chef, Christophe, was INSANELY amazing You really cannot go wrong I felt like I was at a dinner party with friends rather than a restaurant which is exactly the vibe you want from a bed and breakfast We will definitely be back!

Located across from some of the office parks and apartments, this location is obviously used by business travelers and others passing through Norwalk They have clean rooms, reasonable rates for April, service is slower but they have few staffers, and parking free around the building Some room bookings come with meals, others don’t so check

Check-in was smooth online and picked up cards and left a deposit card of $20 Nice and easy Basic amenities if you need them like a toothbrush Bring your own water though, they charge $7 for each of the bottles in the room

We had a fabulous experience at the Inn at Longshore The staff was so accommodating, personable, and professional The rooms were super clean and dust free

The inn was so quiet, you could hardly tell that other people were there The rooms are all decorated with a quaint antique decor that gives each room a unique flare The Bridal Suite has a separate door closed off from the living room with a table for dining and refrigerator in each room My family and I stayed here for a month after moving and waiting for our new house to be ready We were very comfortable there The continental breakfast was icing on the cake with good food in a beautiful dining room They even allowed me to close the dining room door in the evenings so that I could have a quiet place to Zoom while attending my graduate school classes at night There was a nice quiet sitting area with a couch and fire place where my family and I could sit and relax in the evenings Not to mention the beautiful view of the grounds and Long Island sound I would highly recommend you give the Inn at Longshore a try!

Michelle Ferrara

If you are considering the Inn at Longshore for a wedding/event, reach out NOW This venue is absolutely amazing My husband and I got married here in October of 2021 and the Inn team could not have exceeded our expectations any more

Adrienne was our day of coordinator and I think I have found someone equally if not more detail oriented than me! Adrienne seamlessly carried out our wedding vision She was so careful and thoughtful in her questions both leading up to the day and on our wedding day itself to make sure everything ran as we’d hoped The food here is amazing We still have guests RAVING about our cocktail hour and dinner! Lastly, the location is absolutely stunning It is quintessential New England shoreline chic We lucked out with a gorgeous day, so our guests were able to enjoy cocktail hour outside Inside, the Inn is spacious and has plenty of room for your guests to mill and move about We loved this venue from first seeing it but now that we have experienced our own wedding here, we CAN’T wait to go to one there again Truly a 11/10 customer service experience and would highly recommend booking!!! We also stayed on premises for the night before and of the wedding The rooms were spacious and quaint – even for just a weekend trip, you cant beat the course and shoreline all in one spot!!

Lauren Cebulski

The Inn at Longshore was the perfect venue for our wedding Our day of coordinator, Laina, went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly which allowed us to truly relax and enjoy the day Our guests are still raving about the amazing food and Laina ensured that my husband and I got to try every bite! The venue was stunning and we loved being able to have our whole family stay together there the night of the wedding

We highly recommend the Inn at Longshore to any future couple! Thank you to Laina and the entire staff for making our big day unforgettable!

My wife and I absolutely loved our spacious, well appointed, and beautifully decorated room at the Delamar Southport The entire staff made us feel pampered and welcomed during our stay Starting with management, to the front desk, to the housekeeping staff, and especially David and Mickey who helped us check in/out; everyone was first class

The complimentary breakfast was delicious and added great value as well as convenience Thank you for a wonderful stay We will be back!

In my room right now, or am I on the interstate? Hard to say I’m traveling on business and recently moved from the Delamar – West Hartford (wonderful hotel) to the Delamar – Southport The hotel is in a great location right off 95 but that’s also it’s biggest Achilles heel, I can hear every car speed past as though I’m standing on the interstate

This wouldn’t be an issue if the hotel were located near a less traveled corridor, as I can sleep through an intermittent car driving by but this cacophony remained constant and began picking up around 4am I travel with ear plugs as I’m well aware of your average hotel noise but even those didn’t quell the noise If I’m paying a premium to stay somewhere I expect everything to be near perfect Perhaps I need to give the hotel another chance and request a room facing the ocean next time However, as I alluded to, if I’m spending more money than I need to for a quality experience and better stay, I expect better than average Service was great and the location in terms of nearby restaurants and waterfront are ok Here I come Marriott

Stayed one night for an event The room was spacious and clean Was pleasantly surprised to find an air filtration system in the room which worked well for my allergies

The bed was extremely comfortable The event I attended ran flawlessly The staff was friendly and efficient Convenient and pleasant alternative to chain hotels at a very reasonable price

Upon checking in the front desk staff were amazing, vibrant, full of energy and helpful We ordered some food from the bar before going to our room thinking it wouldn’t be too long, maybe 20 to 30 minutes Ended up waiting 45 minutes for a pizza and tacos

Eventually got to the room and the TV didn’t have any sound Ended up fixing it myself after calling guest services and being on hold for a whileWhen opening up the bed, the sheets were filthy and the bed and pillows were full of hair Clearly wasn’t changed after the last guests had been there The front desk attendant (not the ones from check in) tried looking for a new room but apparently couldn’t find anything available I was told they would change the sheets and I requested that the entire bed be redone I was then offered a breakfast voucher but that too was unavailable Ended up not wasting time going down for breakfast

Mother and I traveling through on our way to Pennsylvania and definitely got a sweet deal on a very cute hotel Looks like they are doing some renovations but the place is gorgeous and has an updated menu Staff was super friendly and chatty upon arrival and exit and the rooms were clean and quaint

A tad noisy from road noise but didn’t bother us much Had a great stay!

This place is wonderful! The food, especially the Mediterranean salad, is great! The conference rooms are air-conditioned, so you will always feel cool The hotel is right off the highway, clean, with a good amount of parking It is also just 5 minutes from the SoNo collection, as well as the rest of downtown Norwalk

The pool is a saltwater pool, which is also really nice Overall, great place to stay!

Staff was average; some great and others out to lunch For the money of the room, and the price of breakfast, I would have expected a correctly taken order, bacon that wasn’t a day old, cold, and dry, and hash brown that wasn’t just a circle of Luke warm potato mush I was not the only one that complained and the staff were deer in headlights

Atmosphere of hotel is nice, apparently clean, and decently maintained

My daughter had a sleepover party at the Hyatt Regency last night and everything was great! I had called the hotel multiple times in the past month to ask about rooms, the pool, etc and every time, the staff was courteous, friendly and helpful The suite was spacious and clean, and the pool was warm & big! Love the indoor garden! Our whole experience was excellent

We would definitely go back!

The hotel is going through some renovations and some of the services aren’t back I used to enjoy the on site restaurant, Winfield’s, especially the breakfast The atrium bar was great

Neither are open now I did enjoy just sitting in the atrium having breakfast (bought from a local store) The gym equipment is well maintained The dumbbells go up to 75 lbs which is enough for most people The rooms need to be updated but area also well maintained The price reflects the fewer amenities I’ll be coming back

What is up with these negative reviews? This hotel is awesome! Updated and clean with a stellar heated pool and jacuzzi The reception area is literally a jungle with living trees two stories high It’s so cool

Everyone was friendly Beds are so comfortable Room service was great and they have a diner close by that can deliver food which was also really good Even though the restaurant is closed, you can still bring food down to the atrium and eat at the tables they offer Luganos wine bar is around the corner and excellent We were looking for a quick getaway from New York City and this was perfect We will be back!
