We stayed here for a short vacation The room had 2 queen beds Wasn’t to impressed with the beds

Both were rather hard and squeaked when you moved any amount For a pillow topped mattress it was quite uncomfortable Decent size room for 2 adults 2 kids 10 and under Bathroom was nice, the shower head and water pressure was great The tub was low and was easy to step in The air conditioning was rather tricky You had to leave it on 65 and it took 5 hours to cool the room from 71 to 68 degrees If you turned the air above 65 the room would become very hot quickly When you pressed any button on the thermostat it would show nothing but a blue screen Staff was super friendly and the coffee shop down stairs was great I was rather disappointed about the pool being taken out to Make a roof top bar when the website showed that there was still an indoor pool I chose this hotel because of the indoor pool I was quite aggravated with Shane for lying to my children and saying it was just broken and then Jake telling them the next night what really happened The spa with Patrick was the best part of the whole stay I had the best time and he made me feel like we had known each other forever The services this spa offers are top notch Patrick even answered me by email very quickly even though he was relaxing by his pool This spa is worth every single penny I spent If it hadn’t been for Patrick and his wonderful staff, I would have move to another hotel Tuesday morning I did get a decent price for each night but the only reason I paid what I paid is because of the indoor pool Total let down on that part

The service was outstanding Front desk staff, valet and restaurant workers were the friendliest I have ever met Super nice people that really care about their guests

They were also quick to respond for requests for extra towels and toiletries The valet is super quick The restaurant service was outstanding We ate there two nights and the food was hit or miss Breakfast was pretty good and I recommend their homemade biscuits I was a bit surprised that there was hardly anybody eating there It was like a ghost town And they forgot to clean my room one day It’s a solid, modern huge hotel which has great potential and the employees are the best

J.R. Donnici

This hotel his beautiful and always my go-to when my life is falling apart The staff in the spa (as long as it isn’t closed on Mondays) are amazing people that help you feel great The hotel staff especially Brandon at the front desk are incredibly kind and helpful

The rooms are very nice, and the coffee shop is very tasty in the mornings Overall a great package, just be aware that some amenities are closed on some days, so plan accordingly

Very nice hotel in the heart of Chattanooga Valet parking with in and out privileges This hotel doesn’t have a club lounge, but the restaurant serves a nice full breakfast from classics like blueberry pancakes to southern specialties like grits with cheddar cheese

There is also a well stocked market place for grab and go sandwiches, Pete’s coffee, scones and cupcakes Both the cranberry orange and chocolate chips scones are delicious

Timothy Schlimpert

Roof top bar? There are rooms right under the bar and I’m in one I gave up trying to sleep because of the noise People talking loudly, dropping glasses, sliding chairs around

It’s hard to hear the TV over the din coming from the bar Worst hotel everI notice they also claimed one of my room upgrades for a normal King room under the bar 🤯

Adam Hyder

Stayed in a corner room, 818Here, they take pride in running a first class enterpriseThe rooms are clean, well put together, quiet floors, bathrooms were neat and tidy…

USB anywhere which you may need one…ports are on the dresser and on both sides of the bedGreat views… cool little bar and sitting areas around the lobby and sidewalk I would definitely stay here again…I’m thinking quite hard for any issues or items of concern… But I don’t have a single one!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great hotel with a nice atmosphere Rooms were clean and well laid out with nice amenities (dual shower heads, quiet AC/heater, etc)

The in-hotel restaurant did not disappoint with food or drink on multiple occasions All of the staff was friendly and even recognized a couple of my co-worked from a prior trip several weeks ago Over all, a great experience The hotel is also within walking distance to several great local bars and restaurants I will certainly be staying there if I visit Chattanooga again

From the very first visit to this hotel, it was nothing shy of Great! This goes for the hospitality and great customer service from the front counter personnel to the bar tenders I was greeted by Josh with a big smile at the front counter upon assisting me with getting familiar with the hotel and all the amenities that were offered during my stay He really listened and helped to fulfill all the things I needed for a special occasion that I’d planned while staying there

Also Peter the owner of the Hotel took extra special care of me and my guest which was so Wonderful! I would like to also say thank you to Cristina and Aaron for helping to assist, direct, and coordinate my event to make it as memorable as possible You Guys Rock! I am truly grateful and give this hotel a five star rating review to anyone asking about staying

Teresa Lovell

I was amazed at how modern and clean this place is I wish I could show you pics but believe me the pics on the web are accurate They said that they just did a complete remodel so my hats off to the designer

They did an amazing job They have 2 fire pits outside that you can sit and have a cup of coffee or a drink The staff is so friendly and helpful The price for what you get is awesome It comes with a free breakfast and not just a continental breakfast, it is so much more I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay

Enjoyed this place before, but this time as a casual older traveler there was no senior discount and the extra charge for dogs is not clearly mentioned and appears only as fine print We booked directly with the hotel and mentioned our two smaller dogs Got a two night rate of approx $370 with taxes and then found that had not taken into account the dogs and that had to be tacked on

Discovered this out when we got to the hotel They did allow us to cancel when we checked in and found out the added fees I appreciate “dog friendly”, but fee needs to be more prominently displayed

Jordan Guinn

We had a very pleasant two night stay at this hotel The king suite had ample room for our whole family (2 adults and 2 children)It was a very clean room, especially the bathroom and kitchen

It’s located near a large shopping mall, so options for food and entertainment are plentifulThe staff is exceptional, with a special thanks to the folks working in the evening The were very attentive and friendly

This hotel was nice for a lot of reasons but the FIVE STARS are for the amazing staff!!! Our family is well travelled and we were very impressed with the housekeeping, kitchen and front desk teams

in our short weekend stay we only got to personally meet Dee, Willie, Christina, Kyle, Dwight and Johnbut each of them really went above and beyond the call of hospitality to meet and exceed our expectations Well done everyone, you all deserve a BIG raise!!!

This inn was amazing After driving from South Florida and staying in Savannah GA the night before, this was our first night in the mountains There were rocking chairs on the balcony that overlooked the river and had An absolutely gorgeous view of the mountains

The inn is settled right in the mountain literally around the corner from Ruby Falls When we got there, Mason was working and he was more than accommodating He made sure the fire pit was lit and we had sticks for roasting marshmallows He came down to help with the TV He was super pleasant and helpful and I know how busy he was The room was clean and even had cute folded washcloths with toiletries inside them The breakfast was in a quaint room that was half living room and half dining area The food was excellent…much better than a hotel chain The breakfast staff was friendly and chatty The pool looked great (there was lightning all night so we didn’t go in) The inn just had an overall quaint feeling with southern hospitality and rustic charm It was a great start to our vacation! Also the front desk has a cute gift shop

tj johnson

I don’t normally give a review but this Riverview Inn was exceptional Very cozy room and inviting when we walked in The bed was comfortable and clean however the pillows were too fluffy but Some people might like that

The views were gorgeous I loved that we could sit on the balcony and take in the scenery The fire pit was a nice surprise Parking was a bit of an issue for full size truck but that’s to be expected up on a narrow mountain top but we managed just fine I would recommend this lovely place ❤️

Room was clean overall except shower needs more thoroughly cleaning There was a vent in the bathroom but no fan Breakfast should offer eggs without cheese option and better tasting coffee Room layout good for overnight trip on a road trip but would look for another place for a longer stay

(No closet only hang rail and hooks, very small desk, has mini fridge but no microwave or in room coffee)

Lawler Sewell

Absolutely amazing staff that would make any manager proud ! AGM Sean , Kim at the front desk and Tim are all wonderful at what they do You can tell they truly care about going above and beyond for guest ! Every time I am there those 3 in particular make me feel welcomed The rooms are good for a couple or traveling alone and I love the smell of the lemon soap in the bathroom ! Breakfast is always delicious and I think the pancake machine is a really cool addition !

Room 218 (faces Red Roof Inn) My reservation was for 3 nights while in town I had high hopes, but as soon as I pulled into the parking lot and saw the people hanging around outside at the Red Roof Inn, which shares the parking lot I knew I wouldn’t get any rest for worrying about my vehicleThe reception and check in was speedy and very polite

My room, 218 felt like a humid jungle upon arrival The rooms are small, but a fridge is in the room and the TV was large The water pressure and hot water was lacking terribly; I have more pressure in my 5th wheel I let the water run on the highest “hot”setting for over 20 minutes and it never got pass luke warm If you like extra firm beds, then you’re in luck! The pillows ugh, that’s why I always bring my own Breakfast choices are what you’d expect, nothing noteworthy I definitely would not stay againIf you park on the Red Roof Inn side be prepared to be approached by randoms for money

I stayed here for a stop on my trip to Florida, and it was definitely a good choice to stop here The mountain view was beautiful, and the fog added an extra The pool was nice and big, and the breakfast was warm and fresh

The bedsheets were soft and comfortable, along with the pillow This was overall one of the best hotels I have ever been to Some of the hotels I had been to before this one were sometimes dirty, and I was very surprised when I realized how clean it was(not saying I was expecting something bad) We loved it, and we hopefully WILL come back soon

Hampton Inn,  S Lookout Mountain, Chattanooga TNIf I could give Renee, the night desk clerk,  10 stars I would  She was amazing!  First, she was the first clerk this trip to congratulate me on my status level

Second, not only did she find me a small shower bench that fit in the tub, she brought it up herself within minutes of our arrival (This was the first Hampton we’ve stayed at able to grant this request) Then, when I told her one of the light bulbs in the bedside lamp was out, she immediately went down, found another one and replaced itall before my daughter had brought up the luggageRoom was very clean and spacious with 2 chairs  Beds were comfy and not at all lumpy  Soundproofing was decent; the only issue was it sounded as if there was some kind of loud electric pump outside that pounded/thumped all night And because it was cold when we were there,  we had the heat on – in the middle of the night it started making a high-pitched whining sound, which woke us up, so my daughter resorted to turning it offCan’t comment on breakfast as neither of us felt up to going down Remote for the TV was “interesting ” and took awhile to figure outNote  they didn’t have any standard luggage trolleys,  only those small triangular ones without hooks  We travel with a lot of luggage, so these are pretty useless for us Dinged one star for thatExtra: although we didn’t need it, we did notice they had an electric charging station for cars

Moxy was such a unique and wonderful stay for us! we booked a night sorta last minute and we were very pleased with how easy it was for us! When we got there, we both got a free drink token to use at the bar and after unpacking, we both got their signature drink, Got Moxy!! it was amazing! the room was beautiful and very cozy The valet was simple and easy to use and everyone we interacted with was very kind!! 🙂 definitely going to come back or try one of their other locations in the future!

Notes TV

The inside and outside decorum was nice and modern and as good as u will get in Chattanooga but the rooms were too small for the price listed at 140 a night after taxes Was enticed by the free cocktail(which is of the hotels choosing🙄) but ended up not even getting it The bar was nice and staff was friendly but they should lower there price or I wouldn’t recommend!! Arrived to my room disappointed! Efficiency size it bright me back to college only a lot nicer !

Awesome staff, rooms, location, environment I stayed here with my girlfriend for 4 nights and it was incredible I highly recommend to couples

I’ve seen people complain about the size of the rooms/noise and it was not a problem for us at all And we’re sensitive sleepers Room 209 was excellent First time In Chattanooga and if we go back, we will definitely stay at Moxy 10/10

We booked three days online for this Holiday Inn Express for a small family vacation The first room they gave is hadn’t even been cleaned but had a note signed that it had The floors were very dirty, my son pulled out the couch for the pull out bed and there was literally leaves in the sheets

And stains everywhere It was late so I called down to customer service a gentleman answered the phone He did get us into another room but he seemed amused by the situation The next room key he gave my husband was to a room that was OCCUPIED ALREADY That was embarrassing So we went back to the desk for help for a third time, it was too late to change hotels They did get us into a handicap accessible room(the last one left)This room was cleaned much better However there was still tape left on the wall from a banner or party previously The bathroom was clean but the toilet paper roll holder was damaged and barely hanging on They do offer a breakfast every morning They offer a variety of hot and cold foods, juices and coffee The food was always hot and I would give it a mediocre rating, at no expense to the person preparing it They just should buy better quality food in my opinion But it does get the job done for breakfastOne of the elevators was broken when we first arrived but they had it fixed by the second day One did smell like smoke but that could have easily been a guest that did that Also our blinds did not work in one of our rooms at all I would not recommend this hotel It has potential but it needs some love(there was also a rip on the comforter)

Danny Wilson

The staff was very accommodating to our needs, and helped us get rooms for us on our super long drive , was very clean for the most part and welcoming the pool was nice an warm an well kept was very refreshing with the snowy weather that was outside Their was some minor issues in our room like the shower head was broken some but still functioned, a couple of the lights was burnt out but still had plenty of other light Besides that we enjoyed our stay

Mike Jones

Check in was great The rooms were fine The issues I had was when we were checking out in the morning the Breakfast was getting cleaned up 30 minutes before 10am on the weekend

We have two little children and we literally only had boiled eggs left of before 10am When we asked if we could still eat it wasn’t 10 yet, we were told it was time for them to clean up the meal area and they refused to stop If you’re going to have breakfast available you don’t put it up while guest are still eating and especially if its not 10am This created a huge ordeal This was very concerning and the staffs unwillingness to resolve it just provoked the issue further Thanks for the 15 hard boiled eggs (at least they gave us a bag to carry them out in) They even took the coffee out of the breakfast area I will never stay at this location again

A very well done, thoughtful place It’s clean, the staff is extremely friendly, they show you around and explain things well It’s fun to stay in a place where you’re apt to meet other guests in common areas

Sound does travel a bit, but it wasn’t bothersome for us The way the place is built feels very healthy / non-toxic; for example there is no carpet, so none of the industrial chemicals one would associate with carpet The whole place feels good in this way We had a wonderful stay, a good night’s rest, and enjoyed using the shared kitchen and outdoor areas We also had a delicious dinner and the Flying Squirrel next door

Benjamin Woodill

Hands down the best place to stay in Chattanooga All the staff are awesome and the place has a great vibe It’s located conveniently to walk or take the shuttle around downtown and see the city

They also have a huge climber following and can help you with figuring out where to climb, sell guidebooks, rent crash pads, chalk, etc It’s a great place to stay You go out to climb, come back and eat, then sit out by the fire pit What are you waiting for? Stay here and see how awesome it is

Sean Ferrell

An astonishingly well run business, great staff, and a lovely place to stay For those who want a hotel experience, note that this is a hostel, and there are differences For those who like the hostel experience, it’s hard to find a better one

Stop in at flying squirrel for a delicious meal and courteous service while you’re staying at the crash pad

I stayed in room 220 A two bed room with one other person It appeared to be clean, it was cold which I like, and it provided amenities like shampoo and conditioner

They were sold out of water at all of their vending, even at the front desk The only thing I would change about the room is the DOOR Our door would not close all the way No matter how many times or how hard we slammed the door, we were able to push it open from the hall without needing a key Our solution to this was to dead bolt it and use the door lock We brought it up to the front desk and all they said was that they’ve had issues with it before I suggest you get it fixed by a professional and in the mean time, don’t have guests checked into that room

Loryn Longbrake

Beware, if you are disabled!I recently stayed in a handicapped accessible room at this hotel There was a roll-in shower The bench seat collapsed when I tried to use it!!!I am able to walk a short distance so the shower was step-in for me

Before getting in I put the bench seat down and it appeared level I then faced the showerhead and reached back with my hand to guide myself to the bench Just the weight of my hand made it collapse! If I was not cautious and had just sat down, I would have slid off the seat and landed on the shower floor possibly breaking my back I would have probably also hit my head on the bench, potentially breaking my neck and/or causing brain damageI’m giving 2 stars to be fair, because the room was nice otherwise and the breakfast was good But if you are disabled I suggest finding someplace else to stay!I have photos but can’t seem to post them here

We had booked for an event with a group rate ($149/night, plus taxes and fees) – which, turns out was even more than their usual rates (according to Google, right here right now which says from $118/night for the SAME NIGHT!) Unfortunately, our event was cancelled The hotel offered us a refund of 1 night, even though we were booked for 2 nights And then, I asked

hey, I’m traveling in about 2 weeks can I use the credit towards that night instead of loosing it NO Of course course Well, what are my options? Pay $169 for 1 night What? Even though it’s listed way less than that on Google rates This is just ridiculous I am so disappointed They actually DON’T want people staying at their hotel They are negotiating GROUP RATES that are higher than their actual rates – first of all – and then our cancel date was like 3 weeks out from our actual travel and rather than offer it as a forward credit to be used during another weekend, instead, they are giving us 50% refund for a hotel we didn’t even use! Yes $350 for 2 nights with taxes and fees – totally ridiculous! And then half of it as a refund Complete bummer and no way to actual use the value of what we paid for unless we go stay there for the 2 nights (these specific 2 nights) Again, they just seem like a hotel where they don’t actually want people staying there (That’s what I said to them on the phone) We all have choices as to where we stay I am not going to choose to stay here, even though I STILL had to pay for it and they would NOT offer me a credit towards another tripEDITED – The hotel did in fact contact me to let me know that I should glad they only kept $175 of our $350 2-night stay We should be glad we got the 1 night refund Period Again, no mention at all that I actually requested that I could apply the funds to a future stay, which they flatly refused The whole thing just really pisses me off $175 for nothing and NO FUTURE CREDIT ALLOWED

The hotels’ location is its best feature and it seems to capitalize on that There is no onsite parking The rate is pretty high and they charge for breakfast

This weekend the only elevator was out of service and I was on the fourth floor My room was good, it was clean It was better than a Motel 6 but not as good as a Holiday Inn with parking

Our Stayed on 6/24 was good overall with a few minor issues The toilet seat was so loose it almost fell off, the hardwood floor wasn’t cleaned very good, one of the not so comfortable pillows had a bad odor to it so we tossed it Also keep in mind you have to pay $18 a day to park at the hotel as well and no complimentary breakfast it will cost you as well if you are not a member

Perfect downtown hotel for both business and pleasure trips to Chattanooga 2 blocks from the Aquarium, the Medal of Honor Museum, tons of great eateries in the area, and literally next door to AT&T Stadium Also an awesome children’s discovery museum right next door

The folks who run the breakfast area are especially great Highly recommend the breakfast, and it has lots of made to order low carb options

Beautiful presence at the top of the hill as we arrived in Chattanooga after a full day’s drive Clean, pleasant, like new facilities Breakfast each day was well done with an excellent variety of choices

The coffee/tea bar is available 24/7 The only motel I found in the area with a studio queen suite We would absolutely stay here again

Oscar Garcia

Stayed in room 215 for one night Great location, on the top of a steep hill Some rooms have a great view, but ours was facing a competitor’s hotel next door

Check-in was fast and friendly The breakfast was good, and our room was clean, albeit maybe showing it’s age We’d stay here again

Taylor Barton

Good breakfast Convenient locationOnly downfall is its not big vehicle friendly and definitely no space for trailers

If you get in late at night you may not find a spot Otherwise friendly staff Not every room is facing the mountain Beds were 50/50 on comfort Overall would stay again though

My husband and I booked this place on a whim as a stop on our honeymoon This place ended up being our favorite!! The hospitality is amazing – they truly go the extra mile to make sure you have everything you need (from changing the room temp to giving us cheese knives for our own snacks we brought) We opted for the breakfast in the room one morning and it was idyllic

I felt so cared for and catered to Highly recommend the Rising Fawn suite We can’t wait to go back!! Shout out to Grace who is amazingAlso as a side note- if you’ve never been to Chattanooga it is absolutely lovely Such yummy food, amazing views, and wonderful people

We stayed in the Laurel Falls honeymoon suite It is so luxurious! Very tall ceilings, king size bed, floor to ceiling windows, enormous bathroom with a two person soaker tub and a bidet Breakfast was delicious and service was great

Everyone was friendly Upbeat jazz music playing in the lounge/breakfast area all the time Complimentary soda and water available all the time plus a coffee and tea station in the morning and pastries/cookies morning and evening The building itself has a lot of old charm and history

K M

This is our second stay It is now our “go to” place to lodge! Amazing architecture and character you don’t find in chain hotels Breakfast is excellent

It’s like a vacation just sitting in the rocking chairs on the large and spacious front porch Relaxing and quiet too! Chattanooga room is unique but every suite has so much character We will never stay anywhere else! Love this B&B!

Our studio room was nice big and clean and efficient! We enjoyed our stay very much! Thank you Allison for your recommendation, of taco Mac for dinner! We highly recommend anyone to go there also! Just a short six minute walk! Also, we enjoyed a very nice Continental breakfast, with lots of great choices! Also enjoyed the fireplace and great TV in the dining area! 1 It was horrible I’ve stayed here every month for one year

My employer recommended that I stay here It is the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in Silverware in drawer has crusty ketchup on them A plate has crusty ketchup on it I found a small moving bug on my bed I stepped on a staple and cut my foot This is on one week visit That’s not all2 My agreement says that the hotel will cost 10900 per night plus taxes Residence Inn charged me 16600 for two nights out of four After my employer made several phone calls and started the agreement, management told my employer they would fix it There were 5 of us in the same hotel that were in the same class We were all charged different amounts They have yet to resolve this3 The front desk clerk was so rude to two of us about the costs of our room His name was Justin He was pompous and Ill-mannered, to say the least4 The other clerk was so nice I don’t recall his name5 Matt seemed to want to help us I’ve just not seen the resultsI have to return next month I will be seeking another hotel The Manager will be speaking to the lady that holds our contract with Residence Inn I feel sure that our contract will endI Look forward to staying in a clean hotel, with a nicer staff We have let this agreement go on for wayyyy too longSigned,Instructor

Where to start

from the moment we walked in, until the time we left, everyone was wonderful! This staff at this location make it worth your stay Gunner was very welcoming & friendly Even though he was busy, he gave great customer service We didn’t have reservations but Gunner was able to quickly find what we needed He was very informative, able to answer questions and willing to help I probably could have asked him to unpack our vehicle and he would have That’s how nice he isBut wait, there’s moreYou must eat at the H20 lounge We were exhausted from driving and decided to eat in Everything we ordered was perfection! Thanks Jared, the food was amazing! Both Hunter & Scarlet took great care of us while we were eating Very friendly, polite and professional Their personalities make you want to “hang-out” all night I couldn’t have asked for a more friendly, happy, welcome to this hotelYes, the rooms are dated One of our televisions didn’t work The bathrooms are horrible Small Dingy This place definitely needs a “face-lift” along with new furnishings I don’t think its changed since we were last here twelve years agoHowever, none of that mattered The welcome greeting and customer service make you forget all about that After all, we just needed a place to lay our heads for the night, not like we were moving inWe had a wonderful stay Thank you Gunner, Hunter and Scarlet!!

Our stay at this hotel was not what I expected from a Hilton branch The check in was great and easy The front lobby looks spectacular but that’s all there is to it

The parking lot is super small and you will have trouble finding parking They don’t tell you that they offer additional parking elsewhere You pay 18 dollars for parking thats non reimbursed The rooms feel outdated and old Feel very stuffy The beds are not comfortable at all The ac unit of our king suit was so loud that it was hard to fall asleep I’ve stayed at many Hilton hotels but this was a first double tree and unfortunately will be my last

Jacob Garrett

We stayed for a night to see a concert in town but not very satisfied with the place The service was well but the room was not what was pictured, the shower leaked water into the room, soaking the floor and unsure if it was housekeeping or another guest but at 9am, two hours prior to checkout time, someone was able to gain access to the room and tried barging in If it wasn’t for the security latch they would’ve came in on my girlfriend and myself sleeping

The hotel is rated as a four star hotel but in my opinion it’s no better than your local motel with a few paintings on the wall and a bigger TV

Had a great over-night stay on our little family get away to Chattanooga The location is perfect and you can walk just about anywhere in the downtown area There was some construction going on but that didn’t really bother us at all

The room was really nice My kids called it “fancy” Breakfast in the morning was great, too! Appreciate the staff that prepared it for us as well as the rest of the staff who were very kind Definitely recommend if you’re in Chattanooga

We love this place to stay when we go to Chattanooga for our weekend getaways They’re clean and comfortable and I enjoy their coffee and breakfast too Their staff have always been so friendly and helpful

Even giving ideas of where some good places to visit without us asking just because they’re so nice We didnt get to stay there last time because they were doing some renovations, so we’re going there soon and looking forward to it I would definitely recommend this place

Being a germaphobe staying in a hotel is very hard for me I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel I chose it specifically for the fact that they have wood and/or laminate floors which makes it easier to sanitize and for me to clean and sanitize as well to my liking

Bathrooms are another sore subject when it comes to hotels This shower was pristine Trust me, I examine everything and this passed with flying colors We will for sure be staying here again
