The location is fantastic, and the overall hotel is nice and welcoming The staff is good, but the night shift clerk was kind of cold and disconnected when asking for dinner and drinks recommendations The breakfast is from 6-10 am, and it’s impressive

If they could ditch the powdered eggs, I would give it five stars My single king room was beautiful and clean, but I have two gripes I have never stayed In a hotel where they don’t clean your room I stayed here three nights and four days, and they will only clean if you stay a week? Lastly, as in most hotels, there is not enough insulation/padding in the walls and floors If someone above you has on loafers or heels, you will hear every footstep I was woken up at 5 am two days in a row due to loud footsteps above Overall I would stay here again, but I would get a room on the top floor if possible Leisure travellers be aware that parking is $23 a day, but every hotel runs the same racket here in riverside Lastly, if you are looking for a nice steak dinner with a chilled upscale environment, head over to proabition whiskey bar and restaurant

Susanne Millar

This is a really clean hotel and the rooms are nice and spacious and very comfortable Linens were excellent Parking is $23/night and I hate paying for parking but it was nice to have the car off the street

The breakfast had a very nice selection and the potatoes were actually fantastic The coffee could either be brewed stronger or upgrade the beans If you have a student at UCR, this is very close to campus Much better than the other hotels we’ve tried in the area REALLY close access to downtown You can walk to dinner/breakfast – big win

Will Minyard

We liked the room, great location, the front desk attendant was friendly and helpful The only issue I have was not disclosing the $2300 parking charge

Why I was not told about that upfront is perplexing The rates are fair but getting a charge dropped on you when they have you over a barrel seems a bit beneath the actual quality of the location Just say parking is an extra charge I will more than likely stay here again because even with the extra parking charge the cost was fair and reasonable

We stayed here for five days, which included the weekend Nice place but rather generic no frills at all The room was clean and quiet on the top floor and had two days of luke warm showers for whatever reason

The pool and hot tub were clean and enjoyable Breakfast was just as expected for a hotel The front desk staff was friendly, and the housekeeping staff didn’t really stand out but did their jobs I suppose that’s enough, no complaints or praises I would return again for a night only

Don Cann

This is an excellent hotel I slept like a baby in the extremely comfortable beds The room was impeccably clean and the shower was exquisite

The hot breakfast was delicious with a wonderful selection of bacon, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, muffins, fresh fruit, oatmeal with berries and walnuts Everything is nice and hot Very clean and well maintained The staff was extremely helpful and friendly Stay here!!!

My husband and I were moving to the area, and stayed there for a few days until our new place was ready to be moved into It was an extremely stressful time to say the least We had a 26 foot U-Haul, a 10 foot U-Haul plus our 2 cars, and there was more than enough parking to accommodate us

This hotel is safe, quiet, clean and comfortable They offer extensive daily buffet style breakfast at no extra cost What stood out most to us was the staff Edgar went above and beyond what one could reasonably expect to provide us with a positive experience I am extremely grateful that he was on duty when we checked in, because I don’t know that anyone else would have gone out of their way to assist us the way he did Thank you, Edgar!!!

We were overcharged by almost $40 after being given the receipt in an email They attempted to charge my card 5 times within a 5 minute time span rendering my card locked They then proceeded to charge my card again two days after we checked out for $36 for whatever reason and they don’t seem to know why

The manager and Martha were very helpful and very polite the morning we checked in Brenda who serviced the front desk on the night shift was the one who had quite the attitude and informed us of these over charges that we were not told about Brenda insisted that the incidental fee was a $200 charge that she would give us a discount to make it $20 What I found very interesting was that one charge on my card was the $16419 I was originally planning to pay One charge was $185 and the other three charges were $190 Regarding the cleanliness of the room and the tranquil atmosphere, that part of my stay was excellent But overall, my partner and I were extremely stressed out the entire night we were staying, and left earlier than our check out time the next morning because I honestly could not wait to go home I definitely won’t be staying at this location again, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here either The next time I need a hotel room, I will be looking elsewhere I would give this place one star but that extra star is for Martha She was great!

This is a great place to stay at for your next vacation The front desk and staff members are very kind Oscar and the ladies who work the front breakfast area they all have incredibly awesome personalities and they demonstrated excellent customer service during me and my finance stay at SpringHill Suites

We will definitely be staying there again We hope to see them at our wedding on June 18th Great work SpringHill from Dr Robert L Jamison and Verdiana Bentley-Brodie

Times have changed I was very disappointed I learned that Marriott’s ideal of a suite is a room with a sofa

It was subpar Perhaps a tiny upgrade from a Motel six Not worth the price and I asked the staff if this was a suite They lied Not a glass to drink out of It was terrible No privacy, 1 swiveling TV for both shared spaces I bathroom My grandchildren are with me and there was no way to shut out the noise

Nice manager The beds are comfortable and they have good pillows The floors are filthy

I left $10 and asked if they could mop the floor but they didn’t I saw the housekeeper’s cart and she only has a dust mop I’ve mentioned it to the front desk several times, but still no mop I’m about to go to the store and buy one I’m here until my husband gets out of the hospital Also, the washing machines don’t work and they were out of coffee

Maria Biannet Perez

This place is overrated! We requested an accessible room, and we were given a room infested with cockroaches The room was old and neglected It seemed like they barely swept after previous guests left

There were small roaches on the nightstands, the bathroom Well, they were all over the place We requested a room change because our reservation was non-refundable The new room was a little cleaner, but it was identical to the accessible one we had The accessible rooms do not seem equipped for guests requiring special accommodations We had to help my grandma because the shower didn’t have any bars or accommodations This place is deceiving on the website since it’s shown as clean and luxurious Save time and money and go somewhere else This is a motel charging hotelprices The advertised business center was no where to be found A total rip-off and disappointment

Juan Lastra Reyes

Excellent customer service, the staff is personable, and the rooms are a better value than any downtown hotel on Magnolia I was a travel nurse at the local hospital I spent about 8 months coming to this Quality Inn

The price was amazing, service was amazing I have to give a shout out to Anthony one of the front desk representatives I spent about 50 nights here and he went above and beyond for me I really appreciate it They would switch my room to the side of my choosing if it was available and the same kind of layout The rooms were what I was looking for Just a clean calm place to stay for work The people who stay here for the most part are the working class But again this is a gem My experiences at the new place I stay for work triggered me to write this review and how thankful I am to the staff But shout-out to my boy Anthony at the front desk

We got the wrong hotel at first Went to the Suites instead of the hotel since we stayed there last January It was confusing but now I could tell the difference

We needed to check in early before 3pm The ladies from the front desk were very helpful Wish I got their names to say thank you Only stayed for a night with my boyfriend, his sister and her boyfriend Only for a night but the overall experience was awesome! Love how spacious and clean the room was Love that the AC was actually working fine The AC we had at the Suites was broken but overall comfort and affordability superseded Love staying at Ayres whenever we attend events at San Bernardino Very close to everything including the mall and restaurants We Love Ayres!

Rachel Saucedo

Overall an ok experienceThe pros: We enjoyed the breakfast, pool, and room The cleaning staff was super friendly and one front desk gentleman helped me get honey and lemon for my son’s voice

The cons: Wifi difficulties and inconsistencies made it hard to work The fire-pit was broken and not fixed the entire week we were there We were looking forward to hanging out at it On the last day, an employee kept complaining on our kids for typical things they had been doing all week long without any complaints – playing in our room, playing catch with a soft nerf ball out back, moving from one room upstairs to one room downstairs They even called our room to complain It was extra frustrating and ridiculous considering on our first night a woman was being arrested and screaming in the lobby and these same kids were scared and had to run away As parents, we are a police officer, correction officer and teacher Our kids were not acting out of the ordinary Based on the employees working our last morning, I would not consider this a family-friendly location

APlus Tire and Service

I always stay at an Ayers property when flying into Ontario I find them clean, friendly, and fairly well kept I also find them to be a little pricey for what they are

I stayed on Vinyard property until you sold it, we had a corporate rate set up there and it was priced more along the lines i was used to the properties on Milliken are just as nice, but, a little pricey for what they are to me I will continue to stay at your propertiesThank you

Please DO NOT book here! Unless you are OK with having thousands of dollars taken from your account The total cost of our room was $168000

When I checked in on Friday, they charged me $1700 which I assumed was for taxes, incidentals, etc I was expecting this Sunday morning, I was SHOCKED to find an additional charge for $1000 So now I’ve paid $2700 for a room that was only supposed to be $1680 When I called down to ask what was going on, Marlena (manager), said this is just how their system works and we will get the money back when we check out on Monday Obviously, this has ruined our vacation as we no longer have enough money to safely move forward with our plans and get home Unless you are OK with not having money on your trip, DO NOT BOOK HERE!Another thing that really upset me is that the smoke alarm went off when I was taking a hot shower When I called down to have them turn it off, the first thing out of Trey’s (night staff) mouth was “well, how was I supposed to know it was going off” Not, “sorry, I’ll take care of this now!” Not, “just a moment, please” Just “how was I supposed to know it was going off”??? That was the last straw for me If they hadn’t taken 1k out of my account, I would have checked out and left immediately! It’s also worth noting that the shower curtain was way too small in the bathroom and left huge pools of water on the floorThe service here is also not very good It took them way too long to check me in, did not honor my request for extra towels or pillows, and generally didn’t seem interested in creating a comfortable experience for us as guests Not impressed and do not recommend

Great job receptionist clerks Martha, Ari, Adrianna and the Housekeeping Staff! These ladies are always Earth Angels when I am here visiting the MoVal area They make sure my stay is always exceptional! All the times that I have stayed here (in different hotel rooms) it has always been clean comfortable and quiet If I needed any accommodations these ladies (mentioned above) and the housekeeping staff made it first priority to service my request

Thanks Marriott team and housekeeping for making my every stay Great!

Jeniva Trotter

My family and I had to stay here for two months because our house had floodedWe had to go here because it was the only thing available at the time that allowed pets(They say they are pet friendly, they mean dog friendly

)We told them we had pets and were told that it was okay It wasn’t until after we had to go somewhere else that they said we couldn’t come back because we had cats with usEven when my mother tried to go back because that was her last resort they wouldn’t let her in because she owned cats EVEN THOUGH those cats were with us at our grandparents, nowhere near there(We assumed that cats were allowed because when we checked in we were not told otherwise, and it clearly says “Cats Allowed”We were not aware that some of the staff there was allergic to cats, as they didn’t say anything)They also gave away my parents room AFTER my mother called to make sure that it was not going to be given to someone else They ended up going to another hotel for the night, but anywayAlso there was half eaten taquitos in the poolPersonally wouldn’t recommend, but I guess it’s different for everyone

Great Customer Service! Great Staff! And a nice place to stay I reached out to this Hotel Following a terrible experience I had at a different Hotel and Jeff at the front desk was so helpful and Kind I truly appreciate the time he took to answer my questions as best he could before I even booked my stay

Jeff was also there when I finally checked in and was very kind, helpful and knowledgeable The morning front desk staff was so friendly and kind The Gentleman tending the Breakfast area was very nice and worked diligently to keep the area clean and food stocked Very pleasant experience I’ll definitely recommend and stay here again

elisa guevara

Front desk was friendly Overall good experience I asked twice for housekeeping to just pass the vacuum and clean our bathroom and all she did was clean it with our Kleenex box! Didn’t even pass the vacuum! I don’t understand why they offer the service if they aren’t going to do it right! Really disappointed I’ve stayed at others Marriotts in L

A and this is by far the worst when it comes to cleaning The breakfast gentleman was very polite and he deserves 5 stars he helped us get what we needed every morning The area was also very clean thanks to him!

Melinda Roldan

Housekeeping is supposed to clean every 4 days, I’ve asked twice, still not done, it’s now been 7 days Bathroom in the lobby did not have soap for 3 days even after requesting it and no toilet paper Housekeeping took my door dash order, probably though it was trash, and hotel did nothing to resolve

Hallways are dirty The Staff is nice though, and the rooms are average I typically love Marriotts, I travel a lot for work and stay at different ones, often I don’t know if they are short staffed or need better training? I’m not impressed with this place, highly disappointed

I am not a fan of leaving 1 star reviews but our stay at the Ayres Hotel was one of the worst experiences staying in hotels I have ever experiencedUpon arrival we were greeted by a security guard who let us in to the lobby (we arrived late), check-in went well, and the overall atmosphere and decor of the Hotel looked great! I was excited, it appears well kept and clean -Which it isNight 1 our stay went well, the next morning we decided to go visit family, and as such we left our card on the door that says do not disturb

( we didnt want our beds made and we were fine on towels ) We came back to our hotel that late afternoon to discover that the staff STILL entered our room I noticed the cash I had on my nightstand was also missing ( it was only 3 or 4 dollars ) I made all of us go through our personal belongings to make sure I we didn’t accidentally take the cash off the nightstand -We didn’tI went to the front counter to express my concern that we left the sign on the door, and that the staff had still entered I informed the front desk person “Cody” that I think we had the cleaning staff enter our room when we did not want it, and we are missing 3 or 4 dollars, not a big deal but the principal behind it was why I wanted to lodge a complaintWe later found out that my wife’s brand new slippers also went missing that day Cody did his best to try to be understanding but offered no resolution other than “sorry that happened to you , I will inform our manager” And that was that I emailed their manager and have received 0 response My next step is to contact their corporate office to at least let them know of this unsavory behavior in hopes the sticky handed staff will be busted Aside from the theft it is a pretty nice hotel

We were in town for my parents funeral and we were recommended here by Miller-Jones Mortuary I was not disappointed!! I have a difficult time staying at hotels because i used to manage a hotel for many years so the last few hotels we stayed at were a disappointment But NOT here

the front desk staff was super courteous, the rooms were very clean, even the towels (which are what I always look at to determine the cleanliness) had no spots!!! Floors and carpets were clean (no stains) and the hallways and room smelled fresh Definately be coming back here next time we are in California!!

Joanne Douds

Loved staying at the Ares for a four day wedding! Staff was professional and friendly, rooms were large and well apointed Loved having a kitchen area in room with microwave, small refrigerator and coffee machineBreakfast was plentiful, I would suggest they add a high brand non fat Greek yoghert to replace the brand they currently have

Wonderful in every way!

Location was good for where I needed to go The staff was nice Their little market was bare

I was thankful I only had to stay for one night because the rooms were not the best I had to switch rooms because the AC in the first room didn’t work and the temperature in the room was 80+ degrees The second room was ok The bathroom counter was either stained or not cleaned or both I wore shower shoes and made sure not to walk around with bare feet Also, both rooms smelled odd I will not stay here again

Fourth trip this year Gym is good The employees are so attentive, the location is convenient to where I am growing business opportunities

Restaurants, shopping, parks, trails and LA Fitness Fairfield is so clean, affordable and a repeat stayTrip 5, another easy check in even though I arrived late in the evening 🤩Front counter attendant was super nice Room was clean, cool, and I really like how the tv plays the welcome music

I would give it a 0 if I could! Worst hotel stay- you ask for room service (cleaning) and it rarely gets done They keep apologizing and say next day it’ll get done and still doesn’t Even when they clean my room it was not all clean

My room was actually left open and I asked for days about who had access to my room that day they said it was being investigated but I didn’t see anything being done Fridge stops working randomly Upstairs hallways smell and are hot

Stayed here with my son for a weekend He’s really big on staying at nice hotels and giving me his feedback on what he liked and doesn’t like at every place we’ve checked in to He gave this place an 8 out of 10

The room was nice but not sure how often they clean the carpet I had to wipe my feet off with a washcloth from time to time as they would get dirty walking barefoot in the room Bed was comfortable and the air conditioner worked wonderfully There were some areas throughout the hotel that needed some TLC but overall the place was nice All staff members I came in contact with were awesome, super nice and very accommodating which to me is very important

Jason L

This place has really gone downhill the last couple years Stains on the floor and the curtains The outside of the hotel isn’t kept up at all

Weeds growing out of the pavement and debris everywhere Towels and linens are old and wornOur room keys were deactivated early so we got locked out of our room and had to make a trip to the front deskHousekeeping had to be requested at the front desk We requested after our first and second nights but they never came Had to ask for towels every night because of this as the pile of dirty towels in our bathroom grew and grew because of no housekeepingOn the bright side the bed was OK and it is a quiet location with the window closed

Ruben Hilario

I love this place especially on the 9amd tenth floors they have the jumbo rooms with the double doors super fancy There staff is not the greatest and somehow thex always manage to screw with the deposit The hotel itself is a diamond in the rough

Priced very fairly They have a bar and restaurant as well with decent food A bit over priced Beds are nice and soft pillows are great overall its a 8 of 10 Great pool and hot tub

I’m giving the stars for the staff, all staff members we encounter have been quite friendly We also appreciate the breakfast provided, it had a nice variety of items The lack of stars is for the hotel itself

If we were staying more that one night we would have asked for another room Our room’s curtains wouldn’t close not because they were broken, but because they were designed this way, leaving a large gap in the middle of the window exposed to the pool area We had a safety pin that we were able to use to “close” them, otherwise we would have had the lights from the pool area and surrounding street lights in our room all night, not to mention the lack of privacy Also, this hotel has very thin walls, we were aware throughout the night of all other guests babies, dogs, etc We would not choose this hotel again

Thaddeus Crump

Stayed here five years ago and specifically went out of my way to stay here this time Great place good little restaurants around and amazing staff! The only thing was the bed…that thing was like sleeping on plywood I feel like that is something I would have remembered so I would guess it’s time for a change out on the mattresses

Other than the bed the place is easily five stars+

Overall, the room was clean but basic Be advised that these rooms do not have a mini fridge This was an issue for us and when we went to the ice machine as a backup plan, the ice machine was not working

Our TV did not work eitherService was not good – the front desk rarely had anyone there to speak with, and we weren’t informed of the need for a parking pass Thankfully I overheard another guest talking about a parking pass – and I was able to get one for us as wellWe would probably stay here again to give it a 2nd try, but I was definitely disappointed in our stay this past weekend

Parents were in town so I brought them here for the day It’s a beautiful historic property, easily spent 2 hours strolling the grounds admiring every little detail It’s never crowded when I’m here which I love

And the bar has comfortable seating, tastefully decorated Drinks are consistent The calamari is fried to perfectionThere’s a guided tour if you wanna geek out

A HISTORIC LANDMARK FOR RIVERSIDE 🔔Whenever anyone asks me how I feel about the Mission Inn I always feel positive and excited to share how wonderful my experiences here have beenThe Mission Inn is one of Southern California’s most beautiful missions The owner and his family have done and excellent job ensuring it stays around for years to come

They’ve also invested a lot into it for the enjoyment of local residents and distant visitorsThere are number places one can eat inside and outside the hotel, as it’s in the heart of Riverside The pool has a Spanish Hollywood charm There is also a Holiday Brunch that would knock your socks off, and they do Christmas light decorations every yearIt’s also where Anne Rice wrote portions of Interview with the Vampire The rooms are amazing and the property is lush with inspirationThere is also a chappel and art gallery where weddings are held, as well as the presidential bar, and a steak restaurant insideOur room was gorgeous and romantic We absolutely loved our sheets, which stayed cool to the touch, while soft and sensualWe can’t wait to go back again!

We attended an awards banquet here The venue is beautiful Our complaint is about the catering format

All the fillets were cooked medium rare While this is exactly the way I like my steak, many people do not like their steak that pink I was surprised they didn’t have the option to select a preference Dessert was Casey Cupcakes, which are delicious However, the catering service chose to use many flavors that people either love or hate Patrons were not given a choice, just presented a cupcake Again, I’m easy and like almost everything But, this was not the experience for most people at my table I would recommend they change their catering options to allow more advance selections so more people can enjoy the food as much as I did
