As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by a nice clean front area, sweet smelling aroma & a smiley front desk person!Rooms and beds were suburb!Great stay! One of the greatest I’ve ever had a hotel Breakfast was delicious!Definitely will come back!

Very friendly front desk staff and a very spacious, comfy and clean room to spend the night! Excellent water pressure in the shower with the toilet and shower in separate spaces is awesome- just had to mention that! Only 10 minutes from Goodfellow AFB made it easy to visit my son for the weekend A nice breakfast included in the price every morning was also a plus Restaurants, stores, gas stations and even the mall within minutes from the hotel made it a win win!

Teresa Washington

Front desk staff was EXTREMELY friendly and nice but either their system is dated or they don’t know what they are doing They gave my son a room and when he entered the room, another guest was already in that room This situation could have completely gone wrong because as I addressed the front desk what if that guest had shot my son or pulled a gun

How do you not know that a guest was already in that room? So unacceptable, and they should have given my son a discount on his stay but they didn’t still unacceptable to say the least My oldest son and his wife’s room, was NOT clean so they had to go downstairs and get another room as well and even the second room the trash cans contained trash Now, my room Bed made but full of hair so that led me to believe either the sheet were not changed or not cleaned well thank God I’m in a habit of bringing my own sheets So after I Lysoled the bed I changed the sheets The AC unit was untouchable and I’m serious It was pure disgusting I had to wipe it down with several Lysol wipes before I could change the thermostat In these day and times hotels for the cost you charge cleaning cannot be sub-par Very disappointed in these rooms

Our new favorite place to stay in San Angelo! If you’re staying a while, the Sand and Surf suite is perfect as a little home away from home Cannot say enough about the hospitality of the owners/staff – such great people Plus, it’s right downtown and an easy walk to great restaurants, bars/music/entertainment venues, the riverwalk, and multiple unique shops

Michaelle Richardson

Our stay was excellent! The hotel is just beautiful and our suite was so well decorated and also had everything we needed Great coffee and wine in the room! Owners are very accomodating and especially nice Although this time we were passing through on our way home, next time we will make it our destination! Great part of historic downtown and the river

We walked everywhere! We give this place a 6 out of 5!

My kids had a blast! The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is incredibly helpful and kind, even though I know they are overwhelmingly busy! Multiple staff members came by to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and happy with our stay We came at the end of our spring break so the hotel was VERY busy Food/bar service took awhile, but that was to be expected due to the full capacity, so keep that in mind if you have “starving” children

I would definitely recommend this hotel

Jennifer Conner

Staff was friendly and able to get us checked in even though they were having computer issues Bed was comfortable and room was great for the price The only complaint I had was the shower was not clean

There was some dirt and hair on the wall and soap in the tub Other than that everything else was super clean and comfortable Tons to do for adults and kids of all ages! Great free breakfast as well!

Rinaa Raee

We enjoyed this Hotel so much! My babies had so much to do! Pool is open from 10 am to 10pm and it’s heated! Definitely coming back! Staff is super friendly! Breakfast was great! Rooms were definitely clean and so comfortableFrom Lubbock Tx

When we stayed at the park we thought it was beautiful since it is by the lake You do see deer and turkey It didn’t make up for the attitudes of the owners

They are all family and seem pretty miserable They are in the wrong business Not helpful at all Rude and sarcastic If you are going to be in the people business then you should at least try to put on game face

Tabatha Bible

First time taking an RV out to the lake and got a ticket for not having a camping permit So I googled and then called the Texas park and wild life and they told me to call this place and I was placed on hold for 7mins then was cut off while asking my questions and also rushed The lady who answered was awful! I told her it’s our first time and so I just want to make sure our family Easter camping weekend goes well by making sure we have everything we need to stay out there with tents and RVs but all she told me was yes we will give u all that here when u get here and then hung up

Horrible customer service Wouldn’t recommend this place to friends and family because I wouldn’t want them to be treated so poorly

If you need a place to stay for the night I highly recommend going somewhere else The first room I was given looked fine at first, a little dusty, but then I saw a cockroach crawling on the cabinets I let the front desk know and demanded a new room because I felt extremely uncomfortable staying in a room that had cockroaches in it

The new room was even more dusty and the carpet looked like it hasn’t been vacuumed in weeks, since it had so much dirt and dust on itThe only reason I’m leaving 2 stars instead of 1, because the service was very quick to swap out my room for another one

If you like a fun quirky mansion with a lovely hostess and, good breakfast in a great location, this place is a very good option About 6 minutes from all the downtown activity TV was a little issue for us, but a lot of that was user error or lack of knowledge and subscriptions

We would definitely stay here again if travels find us in San Angelo

Angela Gonzales

Had a wonderful weekend at the Music Garden Mansion!! We stayed in the lavender suite and it was so adorable! The property is very well maintained and super clean The hot tub was nice & relaxing after a long day Very reasonably priced with a great location

Privacy was also very comforting right now since we haven’t all had the opportunity to get vaccinated I will definitely be back again when I’m in town!

Marriott became my preferred choice many years ago but this particular hotel has raised questions if I should remain loyal The experience was not value for money with breakfast quality being the biggest issue for me As a lacto vegetarian I already have less options

It was hard for me to believe when the service personnel said that all of ‘Marriott’ has removed 2% milk and Bread from its menu San Angelo is a great town and the people are awesome I trust this review will help serve the needs of lacto vegetarians like me in the future

Christa Collier

Was erroneously charged a no show fee I contacted the manager Jesse to resolve She confirmed that the room was not booked by me

I sent her proof that the travel agency that booked the room did in fact cancel the room, now she will not reply to my emails I am a Marriott rewards member who travels alot for work and am disappointed in how management refuses to take care of their customer knowing they were not at fault Will look at other hotel chains moving forward

dewey alford

Would not recommend staying here Staff is not friendly except for 1 staff at the front counter that I only saw twice I brought my emotional support k9 with me and my room was never cleaned

I understand it is a hotel but I never felt comfortable due to my experience while staying here I would definitely recommend staying elsewhere!
