Excellent Marriott property and well maintained All staff very friendly and helpful Nice common areas and lots of

places to sit and relax throughout the property Pool was nice with plenty of chairs, towels and was very clean Front desk staff including the manager were extremely accommodating to me and very professional I arrived very early in the morning and didn’t expect to be able to check in, but just asked to be able to check in whenever they had something available They were so accommodating and actually found a room within the hour around 10am Awesome!! Great thing is this Marriott had the Elite lounge open and well stocked drinks and snacks Complementary breakfast daily as well Nice touch was a seltzer bar in the lounge with coffee and tea machine as well Only negative here is the rooms have hardwood floors that are not kept clean Not sure if they don’t have the correct vacuum cleaners or what, but the floors had other people’s hair all over the place It was pretty gross actually and my socks were covered with debris from the floor Walls had blood splattered on themas well Low pile rugs are a better option and easier to vacuum using the upright vacuum they use Anyway, I would still recommend this hotel, but just beware that you must wear slippers or setting on your feet at all times in the room unless you want other people’s hair on your feet!

We stayed here for the first time last weekend and we were very pleasantly surprised how much we loved it The rooms were clean and great The staff was super friendly! While we ate breakfast there, a couple of the staff members really stood out

We were greeted by Dee and we watched as she chatted and made sure all the guests were happy and enjoying their meals Our server was JC and he was excellent Let’s not forget the front desk either They were all super helpful Especially Anna! We will be coming back very soon!!!

Our stay was good and could have been better for 5 starsHere are few things that can be improved:- no room service done even after requesting a day in advance It was done later after when we came back and had to call front desk multiple times- after room service was done, coffee supplies were not refilled- used glasses were not replaced- trash from the bin was not removed- no chairs in the balcony- lastly not a deal breaker but a hot tub around the pool was missing

I was fortunate enough to have the company I worked for put me up at this beautiful hotel for a business trip I was here for two days and enjoyed every minute of it First of all I love San Diego so this was a double plus for me

The staff here were unbeatable and went out of their way to make sure my stay was pleasant and to make sure I had everything I needed My room was very nice and the bed so comfortable I really enjoyed my stay and it didn’t feel like work, more like a mini vacation Thank you everyone there for all of your caring and hard work

Kobié Jacobs

First of all service here by the staff is tops Beyond professional they just really seem to care about your comfort and needs so are quick to respond to any requests or questions Hotel itself is very nice and clean

Rooms are comfortable Layout is easy to navigate Lobby decor is beautiful Just an overall elegant but comfy vibe Only reason for 4 stars is completely subjective I like a hotel with nice views My options seem to be a view overlooking the roof of the lobby and then the freeway or a shopping center There are restaurants, FedEx and other shops right off the second floor which is nice but the neighborhood isn’t very walkable Only other strike was that there was no mini fridge in the room which I thought was strange All minor issues in the end Room rate was surprisingly low compared to other options in the area for the quality I’ll definitely stay here again

Excellent hotel with great service Conveniently located in the mission Valley area surrounded with many great restaurants and shops The service is extraordinary and friendly

They were very accommodating on all our requests The rooms are clean and roomy The lobby has very good vibes buzzy with cool musics and people Facility is new with swimming pool and well equipped gymWith the hotel located right next to the major freeway, it’s easy to get to the hotel For people that are here on vacation, this is a great hotel stay in as it is very close to the beach, restaurants and all the attractions in San Diego without expensive costs associated with the bay and beach hotelsParking is $35 a night which is much cheaper than the other hotels

Beautiful hotel and resort The grounds are gorgeous and they do a lot of things well in terms of aesthetics I think food options and restaurant accommodations could be better and more diverse; however, there are lots of options in town

Stay in one of the renovated parts if possible for the best accommodations They don’t provide room service and also do not service rooms, but they do accommodate requests for room cleaning easily I feel for the cost, a quick room refresh should be standard though Beach access/amenities and pool ambiance/service were great

This hotel has two parts, the original historic building and the new part We stayed in both parts They did a great job preserving the historical part of the hotel

However the rooms in the old part are just too historical and old for my taste I even jokingly said they smelled historical because you literally needed to air the strange smell out The carpets and furnishing were all too old and worn out for me Old building I can only give it 35 stars After we moved to the Cabana View, it was day and night Everything was brighter and moderner and cleaner You definitely should book a room in the new building, preferably an ocean facing one while enjoying the historical common spaces in the old one The new building deserves 5 stars The grounds are nice and the service level is high compared to the one we stayed in Santa Barbara This hotel is super busy in the high season If you don’t like the crowd, try to avoid the busy season I am sure the experience would be a lot less hectic

Bobby Moore

Staff is amazing and down to earth if you allow them to be Otherwise they are just professional and follow through with their jobsThe rooms in the cabana are beautifully done

Very put together Well worth the pricingThe restaurants are delicious and pricey! But again delicious, the service was great Staff, fun and attentiveThe location is perfect Parking easy, view amazing The Hilton Hotel Del made our couple days here magical Thank you

Don’t go to this hotel because it’s always full and super awesome and if you guys all go there I will never be able to have a spot It’s literally right on the beach catching the water it’s absolutely amazing but I say again do not book your because then they’ll not be any room for me to book there because anyone who knows anything about staying in a nice place obviously stay here

Clayton Cohn

My grandparents retired to La Jolla and were members here, so I grew up coming to LJBTC twice a year for 20+ years I never stayed at the hotel, however, until recently The beachfront location is impossible to beat, as are the activities, which include tennis, chip-and-putt golf, pickleball, ping pong, cornhole, and other games I am surely missing

The staff is nice, and the food is top notch as well They even have a falconer on the beach to scare off seagulls! (although I believe it’s a hawk not a falcon, but still!)That being said, there is one caveat The place is exactly as I remember it from when I was a kid, which is good for my nostalgia, but bad for the hotel The painting scheme is a bit tired and clearly needs updating More importantly, some key features are missing There are no elevators, for example, so anyone not on the first floor will have to use the stairs Be aware of this if stairs are an issue for you! Additionally, the rooms do not have readily available outlets (I had to pull the bed and headboard out to plug in my phone charger, for example)Overall, this place is great But it is expensive and missing some modern accoutrements that are staples at even the lowest-tiered hotels However, if your goal is to stay on the beach with ready access to great food and awesome games in an environment that is equally kid-friendly and relaxing, then this is the place to be Just make sure you bring an extension cord or surge protector so you only have to move the bed out once!Safe Travels,Clayton Cohn

We stayed for the weekend beginning Friday, 20th of May, 2022 We arrived at check in, to which we were notified that rooms (several others waiting) we’re not yet available I understand being short staffed during a pandemic, but having to wait over an hour with 2 little ones under two years old is asking a bit much

Had to deduct one star The rooms were clean and nice with a nice view Bathroom shower had a unique glass door that swung to almost close the shower Service, Tony, was always friendly and always asked if we needed help The valet text option was quite easy to use and car was ready when notified No daily cleaning service was available I asked if they could take out the trash while we were gone and it was not taken outwith2 children under two, it piles on fast Removed one star on the service side The hotel has a nice convenience store at the lobby

gaby minjares

My family and I decided to stay here on a little weekend getaway The rooms were clean However, I was not happy that they are not offering room cleaning unless you stay for more than 3 nights

So, no clean towels or refills on toiletries unless you call the front desk I called the front desk one night to have clean towels in the morning and they never showed up I had to call again in the morningAnother inconvenience was their half shower door design It just doesn’t work and it’s dangerous We did travel with our little ones and there was water everywhere but even when my husband and I showered the water made its way out It was very slippery and again dangerous It doesn’t help that your room doesn’t get cleaned I’m sure I could’ve called the front desk but for the price I paid for the room I would expect to have that serviceAlso, be careful and make sure you read all the other cost for fees they tack on upon checking in $30+ per night for self parking is pretty ridiculous and $40+ for valet $20+ for a “destination” fee I believed they called it What was that for? I’m not even clear what I was charged forA HUGE inconvenience was also that they didn’t have a mini fridge or a microwave This was definitely needed especially when traveling with little ones Couldn’t keep any perishable foodOverall, it was ok but I wouldn’t stay there again

Mucko LA

Great hotel, all staff was very helpful and courteous This hotel allows dogs (up to 2 dogs, 75lb total) in a room The prices are very good right now for the rooms as well

Food at hotel is reasonably priced, even room serviceThe only criticism I have is the Easter brunch was subpar for the price Just basic eggs, bacon, sausage, waffle bar, and omelette station, was over priced at $50 for what it is

Well I don’t know where to start Came in from out of town to just get awayWe called customer service to go to the Hilton on Mission Valley by the mall and as we drove to the location given it was mission valley stadium and did not match the pictures

As we checked in the front desk told us immediately if we switched hotels we still will be charged for three days because we needed to give 24 hours Mind you the reservation was made the same day Not understanding why a simple switch could not be made as we noticed a whole homeless camp in the back parking lot Called customer or corporate line to ask if we could switch and the customer service agent said why did we choose this hotel and not what we wanted as we explained to her we are from out of town and did not know we would of been deceived After telling us she needed to hear the tape to see if we made the mistake or the employee made the mistake Agent was rude and only listened to provide a response and not one of a customer service agent When asked if we could speak to her manager she replied she doesn’t have a manager as we called the top leave of service for Hilton and she was the boss My reply everyone answers to someone and she said she was the top and will send us an investigation As we were on the phone my husband noticed Hilton deducted 202200 from his credit card This was mentioned to top level phone agent and her reply was that wasn’t her concern as she is only focusing if we made the mistake of choosing the wrong hotel We immediately called front desk to make them aware and a male staff member hung up after being confronted about that amount and we called back and a female staff member acknowledged she was aware and they are working on it and it will be refunded in 24 hours 2 days later money was not returned and we were quoted 59400 There were no light bulbs in two of the lamps and a light bulb missing on one of mini reading lamps We don’t smoke and it reeked of stale cigarettes There was dried blood on the sheets Also we had to call the front desk to ask for new wash clothes and clean sheets as no one bothered to clean our room Tomorrow is our check out 4/21/2922 just in case there is a lie to justify the stealing of 2 grand Very disappointed in how this makes the Hilton name to become tarnished

I am giving 4 stars because the good outweighs the badNear many restaurants and stores The only disabled parking spot they have is large

Extremely helpful staff, especially midnight clerk and GM Good food at the restaurant Putting restaurant tab on hotel bill was extremely convenient Nice selection in the store Clean in the common areas and rooms Nice amenities in rooms and lobby The pool was beautiful and the workout room was excellent and very well equipped The guest safes were convenient and a lifesaverHuge homeless camp behind hotel, so tons of foot traffic through the driveway Delivery trucks block driveway throughout the day No coffee available after 10am No lunch at restaurantLots of small things broken in the rooms, but manager took the problems seriously and repairs were made promptly Minor issue with one of the elevators, and the ice machine on the 2nd floor is broken, loud and leakingWe would definitely stay again due to the staff’s commitment to our comfort, convenience, and security

San Xiong

This is the worst Hilton in San Diego, CA The way they took the angle of the hotel looks clean and big but once we arrived, the area is a dump, squash between Jack in the Box like this hotel was in the back alley

in which it is On the outside parking in the rear, you will see homeless encampment It is not safe and be aware that the camera inside the garage only have one view take and make sure you park once you enter the garageif you go further to where you are heading out, there is no camera in which that the camera angle only the entrance and not the other side The elevator and the hallway to any floors smell and has no air condition No complimentary breakfast in which they will charge you $2100 per person We told the front desk, we do not want serviceand they come anyway This place only looks good in the front main entrance to check in but the room are terriblepower outlet do not work, no fan vent in the restroom, and trust methey will try to charge you extra fees Parking is $1500 a night but you see other encampment RV park inside and they did not even care We only put friend family pet in the room for a min of 30 minutes and were charge $7500 for a service fee Stay away from this place and rent the one by the waterfront Other customer that slept during those days we stay said their bathroom was clogged and none of the maintenance did not care We have pay a premium during our stay in July of 2022and it was the worst stay At least have a security on duty patrolling the parking Have extra hotel luggage cart We have ask many time and they said they do not have it, in which we found out they only have 3 cart throughout the hotel in which we were lucking that one of the customer gave it to us down in the basement parking I would not come back to this placeI have seen many customer just walk across the alley to other restaurant to buy breakfast every morning It is a sad location and they need to disclose it online so everyone should be aware of booking it Be aware, check Google map 3d and you will thank me! Going back to lower end of other hotel that offer better service, complimentary, and care about customer spending these nights there

We had never been to San Diego before and really struggled on deciding where to stay We settled on Best Western Island Palms because it was more affordable and close to all the places we wanted to visit We absolutely loved it! We had a second floor room at the end near the parking garages on the bay side, for 3 nights

The kids loved watching the Navy Carriers and Destroyers float by in the mornings! The room was spacious and clean, with two queen beds and plenty of room for the pack n’ play we brought The beds were comfortable and everyone slept really well With the fan on we had no noise issues; we didn’t turn it off for our whole stay so I can’t say what the noise was like without the background noise of the fan The patio was wonderful to sit and look out at the bay The kids loved swimming in the pools and walking along the marina behind the hotel The restaurant was pricey but the food was really good, and the staff were so friendly, especially toward the children We already plan to stay here again the next time we visit San Diego!

Aleisha Kraske

First, the staff here is excellent, that alone makes me want to come back They are kind, friendly, accommodating when they can be, and very helpful The place is quiet, has great amenities, and is clean

There are a few areas that need some improvement, for starters the fire show was nice, but it was poorly planned At the beginning of the show, the performer had to stop to rush to the gate to tell a guest they couldn’t enter through that way The hotel should have already had that area roped off or locked to get people from entering Second, the area the performer was dancing in (with fire) was wet from the pool water and she almost slipped multiple times, they should have roped it off well before the show to ensure her safety The fire dancer is a good idea but it was poorly executed Next the sliding blinds in the marina rooms are really sticky/dirty at least our room was and need to be cleaned between guests There were some people smoking pot in the pool area around kids and I wish the hotel would have checked in on the pools more frequently Easy enough fix, we went to the other pool as this hotel has two Other than that, this place was super nice to stay in and we will likely stay again when in the area

Shirley Dong

My family stayed here 3 nights (12/26-12/29/2021) in a marina view room It is a great experience We drove from Arizona to San Diego on 12/26, and arrived there 1 hour before their check in time

The lady at the front desk allowed us to get a room, instead of being stuck in the car with 2 tired kids, which I really appreciated it! The marina room is great, and however, probably due to our early check in, we only got a 1st floor, and the view is not as great as the 2nd/3rd floor Meanwhile, the room on the 1st floor is connected to the public walking trail, so it is not very convenient when someone in the room is wearing pajama/ or just finished shower, and we had to close the curtain/shutter all the time If I know we would get a 1st floor room due to early check in(I assumed), I would prefer waiting, as there is a playground across the street where we could easily entertain the kids Based on the number of cars in the parking lots, my feeling is that it is not fully booked in my building during our stay So my suggestion to the front desk is to give guests options for high floor with better view if possible The hotel is in a great location, and it is very quiet at least for our building The room is clean, bathroom appears to be recently remodeled, and the bed is very comfy I would probably stay here again next time if we are around the same area and will definitely ask for a marina view on the higher floors

It is hard to beat the location of the hotel Right at the waterfront, with a spectacular view all around The hotel looks new, well maintained

The rooms are a good size, quite The beds feels old, mine were slanted My one complaint was the shower is slow, and it takes a while to finish The AC on the other hand works perfectlyThe team running the hotel is great

John S

A couple shots of and from the place But this was probably one of the most convenient hotels I’ve ever stayed in You’re able to walk to and from very easily and they have a bunch of great food and drink options right at the hotel

One weird thing was, water was not free unless you bring an empty water bottle and use one of their refill stations near the bathrooms on the main level but they do not provide water in the roomsOther than that it’s a great place to stay The pool was great and all the food we had “on campus” was delicious, especially for a hotel There is a daily destination fee that they charge but that provides you a $15 credit that can be used at the hotels restaurants and convenience store It also include a free 1 hour bike or kayak rental from the place a few minutes down the boardwalk AND a daily free shuttle ride to and from Coronado Beach

Eva Garcia

Very nice clean hotel The bed was very comfy I loved the pool and elevators

AC worked really well Good walking distance to Gaslamp Quarter and stadium The only down side was all the additional fees I had to pay There is a fee for parking at hotel you already pay a good amount of money to stay at, the parking should be included with your stay

This is a very elegant yet tired and dated facility The rooms are spacious yet the finishes need immediate updating The staff were friendly and helpful

Unfortunately they might have been misinformed about renovations We were told that we will be at the newly renovated garden rooms, but nothing looked renovated except maybe a new wall socket with usb outletThe patio overlooking the fairway green is beautiful The drinks were good We also attended a wedding and that was in a beautiful setting

Alice Ettinger

This is a beautiful setting with magnificent gardens, golf course, and pools The rooms are spacious, but are in need of updating Air conditioning is in desperate need of replacement

According to staff, renovations will begin in May Maid service left much to be desired, although when they finally arrived, they did a nice jobThe desk and bell service were more than accommodating and most pleasant and always cheerful

Lou Webb

As a “local” we would visit once or twice a month to enjoy happy hour on the patio Decent menu and discount, fantastic location and views The staff was also first rate

Then out of nowhere, some brain surgeon, decided that happy hour was only allowed inside The thought that it would be better to have a patio full of empty tables instead of a 3/4 full is some next level math Guess we won’t be visiting for a while

First of all, i was surprised by the cleanliness level as many reviewers gave high score for this The room i got was not up-to expectations as it was not very clean The smell of the room was like old motel on highway

Second, the condition of the bedroom mattress was horrible Looks like it is 20 years old I could not sleep well You will feel like sleeping in bath tubLast, although the rooms has a balcony, the room i got was facing a wall which was really annoying I talked to the front desk during the check in to change my room but they said it was the only available one which i don’t believeDefinitely will never come back

Hotel location was amazing and the views were great The rooms were clean but definitely need some renovation – it seems like it’s been a few decades since it’s been doneA few other things they could have been better:First is that the wifi is REALLY bad

I am a Diamond member and I had premium connectivity, yet I was still unable to get more than 2 devices working at a time and with reasonable speeds without it dropping all the time The front desk asked me to call AT&T when it’s supposed to be the hotel’s job to take care of it My particular room (Rooms 2070-2090) had absolutely no cell reception so I missed several important work calls as a result This is not necessarily the hotel’s fault but it’s something people should be aware ofThe second thing is the charges for room service I understand these extra charges are necessary but the bill I signed when the food was delivered was highly deceptive It already includes the service charge (22% which includes 18% tips for staff and 4% to the hotel) but there was another line on the receipt for “tips” which I mistakenly added another 18% This resulted in my food being an entire 40% higher than expected UnacceptableI’ve stayed in many Hilton hotels before and this was disappointing to say the least For the resort fees and high room rates, you would think that they could afford the occasional renovation

This hotel is a gem Conveniently located next to the Torrey Pines reserve, I couldn’t have picked a better place to spend my first night in San Diego Clean and modern rooms, amazingly comfortable beds and beautiful views of the golf course

Impeccable pool area and lush landscaping The staff was so helpful , responding to any questions i had via text so quickly 5 star in my book

Muruganandam Sankaran

Very Good location On the golf course and nice hikes around Bed was comfortable

Parking is very hard Even though you pay 35 $ per day most of the parking spots comfortably accommodates only compact car Any SUV is very difficult to park Lot of times the exit scanner didn’t work Many cars are stuck and long queue at least 2 days to get out of parking lotMany thread mills in fitness center didn’t work The machines look very outdated and needs maintenance

Room was very clean, we stayed in cove bungalow, quiet beach steps from the door, parking at the room Living room with kitchenette was perfect for storing baby food They supplied pack and play for baby

Towel service was quick when we needed more Room service for every dinner was delivered hot and in less than 40 minutes Pools were clean and not overwhelmingly busy Plenty of vegetarian options Once you check in you never have to leave the resort

The rooms are okay & the beds were decently comfyThe view from our room on the bay was really really nice I will sayThe primary problem with our adjoining rooms was the mini split A/C systems are very noisy

And in the room with the single king bed the system is literally 1 foot from the bed and at the same height as the bed So it blows literally on you at full blast all nightPlus the room with a king bed had very poor blind shutters that let a lot of light inWhile the room with two Queen beds has a mini split at least on the other side of the room And it has nice black out curtainsWe ended up sleeping in the king bed with no A/C so it was quiet at least To do over we’d probably ask for two rooms with the double queens that are near one anotherAlso, no microwave and no filtered water source except for bottles you have to constantly ask for Make sure to bring in your own gallon jugs of water from a gas stationFor the amount of money spent on two rooms, we expected a lot more than received

The hotel was completely in the middle of a distribution/logistics/storage area and absolutely no stores or restaurants nearby The room did not smell great and I was not able to open the window The airconditioning was not working well

Worst part: I stayed 4 nights and only once the beds were made upon my request I requested room service for the other 3 nights, but nothing was done, regardless of my in time request Only 1 time I requested fresh towels and after two reminders I finally got my towels at 11:15 PM!!! Not even the dirty towels were picked up FOR 3 DAYS The bathroom almost looked like a pool after a shower with all dirty towels on the floor (see picture) Breakfast was typical HIE, but items were not restocked in time, people were waiting, no coffee, no creamer, no bread, pancake machine was broken, no fruit at all and the fridge was not properly cooling Never go there again

Wendy Marin

This was not a great experience We were given an unclean room with toenail clippings and stains on the carpet as well as mold on the sheets The Hotel is in the middle of nowhere and the surrounding areas are storage units and commercial buildings

We switched rooms once we saw how unclean it was Then the new room smelled like mold We were told we were not going to have electricity throughout our stay Electricity went out twice and it was not a great feeling We tried to get accommodations or a discount on our stay and that was also a no per the manager We are a family with younger children and I would NOT recommend staying here

Vanesha Garcia

The staff were overly friendly unlike what the previous reviews said Room was nice and clean but as always In hotels need more towels The provided shower gel and shampoo was great! We had a small hiccup with the fridge not being cold enough for our breast milk but the staff fixed the issue with a smile

Breakfast was hot and ready, eggs, cinnamon rolls, oatmeal and hot coffee I had a great getaway with my family at this hotel

Stayed at the hotel for 5 days The staff are friendly and accommodated all our inquiries The room we were in was clean with ref and microwave

The beds were soft and comfy Cleaning staff are very prompt for any request Need to request for room cleaning especially in the bathroom as there is no aeration when we were out as power were automatically shutdown when you are not in the room The location is very near the airport with shuttle service The drivers were very nice

Mansa D.

5 stars for front desk staffs and room service staffs They are friendly and nice and provided good customer service Our ROOM (2 beds) I give a 2-star because out-dated, bathroom sink apart from the shower and toilet

It was Bothersome, there’s NO space for make-up and necessities, not worth over $250 a night Second day, the air conditioning was not working and they gave us comps for Jr Suite 2-star for The pool was dirty we didn’t use it all We stayed at hotel clean daily Loved the surroundings area, walking distance to the restaurants and beach

Our family of 6 really enjoyed our stay at the Bahia Great location which is pretty much within a 15 minute drive from major San Diego It’s in a quiet area with a private beach on the bay and walking distance to the ocean

Resort has a nice heated pool and a very large hot tub We also enjoyed a free movie night while we were there The restaurant has a nice outdoor seating area which is a great spot to grab a drink at nightThe rooms were a bit dated but we didn’t come to San Diego to sit in our room The room we had accommodated all six of us which is not always easy to findOverall, for the price you pay, this is a great find in San Diego

Jim Darragh

It was a nice resort in its day But it’s no longer in a good neighborhood We saw people trying to steal surfboards from the resort

There isn’t a spa on the premises yet they do have a sister resort, the catamaran, that they’ll take you too for a spa treatment They do have a pool with a bar that’s open roughly 11am to 4pm The room was clean and the bed was comfortable The view over looking the bay is nice There are mini cabanas along the bay to enjoy the view and watch sail boats Additionally, the resort is with in walking distance to the beach and an amusement park

Chen Li (Lior)

I really enjoyed my stay at Bahia Even though it was just one night, the whole experience was amazing! Every staff member we talked to was so friendly and helpful, we felt very welcomed We got to stay at the bay view studio and the view was really beautiful

I also loved all the plants through out the resort, a very nice tropical feelingThe highlight for me was the newly opened restaurant dockside 1953 I had the stuffed French toast, it was SO good! Very soft and not overly sweet, the fruits and oats added a nice texture Dockside seating with beautiful view of the bay, and the heater worked so well, perfect for when I forgot to bring a jacket on a cold morning All the waitresses were so friendly and welcoming A breakfast there brightened my day!

Simply Bliss! We stayed for four days and had many plans in the San Diego area, several of which we cancelled because staying at the resort was INCREDIBLE The service is impeccable, each staff member friendly, knowledge, sincere and gave a little extra in every transaction The food – All delicious, the rooms – fabulous

The spa – wonderful The touches of fresh squeezed orange juice delivered to the room each morning and the green drinks handled to each guest as we left a work out class among other special touches Rancho Valencia has that extra special something that is found in a privately held business It feels like everyone at the resort is an owner We will be back again and again!

I had the pleasure of staying at this property for two weeks and all I could say is wowIt is truly one of the most amazing properties I’ve ever been to in my lifeThe grounds and the facility are more than incredible and overwhelming with luxurious touches

The food is nothing shy from incredibleHaving stayed in luxury properties all around the world, I can say with confidence that this is in my top two favorite hotels I have ever been toOne of the best things about this property is how you’re welcomed at the guard house by the two smiley faces of either Robert or his colleagueEasily one of my all-time favorite touches is the complementary newspaper and orange juice which is left on your doorstep every morningAll in all when it comes down to it but really says this property is side is the staffThe following people are the ones who truly made this stay exceptional:- Ian- Austin- Riley- Laura- Kyla- Alexa- Felipe (from pony room)

I really enjoyed my stay at the spa here for my birthday The staff was very pleasant and accommodating, and overall the facilities were well-kept Staff were on a constant rotation to replenish the refreshment station and clean the locker rooms

They even provided a complimentary champagne for my birthday One thing to note is that wifi is not very reliable and there was no service for Verizon holders I’m sure most go to a spa to disconnect, but depending on your situation, this could be good to note Otherwise, I cant wait to come back!

They went above and beyond to make me feel so special on my birthday! The room views are gorgeous and peaceful We didn’t even leave the resort, we ended up going to the relaxation pool all day which has mediation calming music under water (the best part) and then to Amaya for dinner with a beautiful patio table and view of the sunset All of the staff we encountered were pleasant and welcoming

Looking forward to planning our next trip back!

We had a wonderful 2 night stay here It is a beautiful hotel If you ever go here be sure to take time to take in the architecture of this place

Make sure to look around Take a moment to stand in the hallway and look up at the ceilings and then forward and how everything just lines up perfectly It’s really quite beautiful The food in the restaurants is very good and the servers are very efficient and kind My husband played a round of golf one day and he said the course was very good The golf carts are really nice with comfy, molded, leather seats! They have a lot to offer for you to do here They have an equestrian Center and it looks like a beautiful place to go for a trail ride They have archery, cornhole, and several pools, golf, and a very high-end spa If you want to go to the spa make sure you book early I tried to get in on a Saturday and they had been booked up for days So I was very disappointed I didn’t get to enjoy the spa And if you want to do the pool at least at the adults only pool, make sure you go out and stake your claim on some chairs earlyThis hotel is not cheap but neither is the service or the atmosphere We really enjoyed our stay here
