Very family friendly, nice staff, and superb housing I loved how detailed the company is with planning and accommodating of families with little kiddos I always forget to ask for bottom levels condo/hotels when booking

They had our reservation on the 1st floor–perfect for little stomping feet It has everything you need to have a great time Thank you for a wonderful stay The heated indoor pool was fun My kids had a blastWe hope to come again in the summer when we can enjoy the outdoor are more

The location is good The room was adequate, kitchen was nice Dishwasher wasn’t secured so it would tip when the door opened

The carpeted floors felt like they needed a good cleaning, not just vacuumed Beds r okay and it was nice to have the small closets The A/C kept up in the heavy heat and humidity! The pool area was a lot smaller than the photos make it look The inside pool was heavily chlorinated The kids loved the butterfly area! The fire pits were nice as well!

Taylor Allen

Hands down the cleanest and best hotel I ever stayed in So clean, beds are so comfortable, they give you everything you pretty much need such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, hair dryer, life vest at the pool They have mini golf, beautiful lights outside, a game room, fire pits, a beautiful water park, playground area, game room

My 3 year old son absolutely loved it all Also so close to everything! Loved it was so close to Walmart! Will definitely be staying again!

We were there for a conference, so enjoyed our stay in every way Plenty of parking, exceptionally helpful staff, quick check in and check out, quiet, peaceful getaway for us We WILL STAY HERE AGAIN Very centrally located to many attractions, off the main highway out of the heavy traffic Great!

David Hanley

This is a great hotel with friendly staff One of the few pet friendly hotels we could find memorial day weekend and it turned out great! I wish breakfast was included even at the basic price level which was probably elevated due to the holiday weekend I loved the indoor pool, outdoor pool with water slide, and outdoor jacuzzi

The fire pit is beautiful at night I will certainly keep this hotel in mind for my next stay in Pigeon Forge

H.R. Pace

Front desk personnel very helpful and friendly Rooms where nice but not much lighting Toilets in bathroom seen extremely low

Nice pool hard to enjoy too many kids Restaurant and bar operated on very limited hours closing very early It’s a vacation resort Who wants to go to bed at 8 pm In defense of the hotel, many restaurants, bars and business in Gatlingburg close extremely early for a Vacation town So be prepared for a early turn in

I don’t think I could have picked a better hotel for our family stay We were able to get a first floor room near the exit so that I can easily take care of our elderly dog and take him outside as frequent as he needs We had a king suite with a sleeper sofa and my boys absolutely loved the bed

Probably as comfortable as you would expect from a sleeper sofa, but the regular bed was amazing I love that I had such a big kitchen with an actual freezer so I could put everything away We made this truly our temporary home for 5 nights stay Having an indoor and an outdoor pool was amazing My boys spent time in the outdoor pool every single day And I could easily have my dog out along the gate watching them swim so that everyone remains safe Hotel staff was always accommodating if I had any questions The breakfast was also quite delicious every morning

A Customer

Very pleased with our stay Entire staff very professional Room very clean, actually, entire hotel

One of my favorite things you did was to have my Hilton Honors waters in my room along with hard keys, car tag and other helpful information already in our room after checking in on the app I wish other locations did this You all provided excellent customer service Thank you!

Joseph Breyne

Our room and the property as a whole was very well kept There was constantly people out and about cleaning and restockingBreakfast was simple but hot and tasty

They only had the oatmeal one day while we were there so that was a bummer because it’s my favorite part of staying at Hilton HotelsThe pool was clean and the chemicals were kept in check, if you stay at hotels often you know how rare that isThe location is perfect for getting in and out of the main strip, really close but on a back road so you can kind of shift in and out with easeThere is a nice seating area outside with a little fire pit that we sat around and had some drinks with other guests The outdoor pool was closed because of the time of year, but that would probably be another plus had it been openOver all it was a great experience

Hospitality at its finest!!!Jennifer and her staff are second to none Being displaced due to the fires Jennifer and her staff was caring and understanding Front desk that was knowledgeable of the area and compassionate

The rooms were extremely clean and well maintained I highly recommend waking up early and taking advantage of their breakfast Fruit, cereal, hot eggs hot sausages were amazing the two ladies attending breakfast cap everything fresh and hot and tables wiped out while taking time speaking with guest with a smile on their face Anyone coming to the Smoky mountains I would recommend this hotel every time

Sarah B

We had a really good experience here We travel for cheer and have stayed at a lot of hotels over the last few months and this was by far the cleanest hotel we have stayed in Normally I notice dirty corners in the bathroom or tubs, dirty sheets, hairs, etc

there was none of this The common areas were also very clean Our room was spacious with plenty of storageThere was also good counter space in the bathroom which makes it easier to get ready Breakfast was great and had a good variety Staff was super friendly from the front desk to housekeeping/maintenance We had a little issue with water temperature/pressure but it wasn’t anything we couldn’t deal with We will definitely be staying here again

Eddie Lawrence

Because the staff was so friendly, I am giving this Holiday Inn two stars overall Otherwise, it would have been one starPros: Good breakfast, and very friendly staff

Location is good with several restaurants within walking distanceCons: This place is really dirty and needs a thorough scrubbing As soon as we got off the elevator, we noticed that the hallway carpet looked as if it hadn’t been vacuumed recently – lint, toothpicks, etc Once inside the room we discovered food on the floor which appeared to be quarter sized pieces of bacon We requested and received a new room The new room was in better condition, but we soon found that it was still not clean We discovered that the tile floor was filthy We dripped some water on the tile and my wife wiped it up with a washcloth Just one or two swipes across the floor left gray blobs on the cloth Upon closer inspection, you could see the the dirt on the tile I noticed that several of the towels had permanent stains Maybe from being placed on the floor? There are also electrical safety concerns There are strips of indirect LED lighting above the beds at about eye level I noticed that there were exposed wire nuts which connected two of the LED strips I do not know if these wires were connected to a 120V source of if the LED strips are powered by a low voltage source Either way, exposed wiring is not acceptable A child standing on the bed could easily reach the wire nuts If they unscrewed the wire nuts they could get a shockI’m attaching photos of the washcloth and exposed wiring to this review so that you can see yourself I would not stay here again

Kimberly Lawson

Fun as always! However, since we booked very last minute we ended up in a lock off handicap unit that was very small and didn’t have balcony or much natural light Not to mention trying to shower in a handicap shower is something I hope not to experience again 😂 Unit it was clean and had plenty of supplies

The resort has awesome amenities from outdoor and indoor pools, hot tubs, sauna, workout room, game room, mini golf, and splash pad

Queen

It was cool but I’ve been to a lot better and the kitchen had more pots and skillets and a washer and a dryer in the units Plus horseback riding and arcade an adults canteen with a bar pool table and a jukebox They didn’t even have an air hockey table

Just a pool and empty recreation room Thank GOD it was located in the heart of a tourist strip But it’s in a dry country so the only available liquor is only bought in restaurants You would need to drive 20-30 minutes to Gatlinburg to buy booze On the upside it’d really priced nicely

Chris Corte-Real

We had a single room which comes with a pull-out couch The room itself is nice and has just about everything you need I got to see a 4 room condo and they are amazing for sure

They also come with a hefty price tag I really like not having a traditional room key, but rather a RFID wrist band So everyone has a key to the room in our group and you can simply wear it This was great for our teens, who would most likely loose the keys dailyWe did sit through a sales pitch as well but it wasn’t nearly as high pressure as others I have attended, and if I could swing spending 80k on 400k points per year maybe I would haveParking is tight with some old ball spaces And there are a few signs that are incorrect on the property There is no one around the pool area to enforce their own rules, which was a bit of a joke anyway

Excellent family friendly stay We stayed during off peek season, so the outdoor pool wasn’t available, but there was an adequate indoor pool available The room was extremely clean and comfortable

The bed seemed a little firmer than my liking, but acceptable The shower/tub was large and clean We tried the restaurant which offered a variety of delicious food, the waitress was not the friendliest or attentive to drink refills The front staff and cleaning staff were super friendly and courteous

Vanessa Taylor

My husband and I are very picky, and we had zero complaints about the resort We found our room clean, and the resort overall was very comfortable It definitely had a different feel from other resorts

It was very warm and welcomingMy only complaint, and caution to others, is you should check your final bill at check out We had over $100 charged to our room from the late night lounge and we never went there! We drove back the same day that we checked out when I saw the charge The desk clerk had it removed and said it would be investigated When we returned home, the charge reappeared on my credit card I called to speak to someone and was placed on hold for over 10 minutes, when the line finally disconnectedWe watched kids put pizza/ice cream on their rooms by just giving the room number, so be very careful It clearly is very easy to have something charged to your room that is not yoursOther then that, we loved the resort I would have given 5 stars had we not had the room charge issue

Ashley Harvey

The staff was amazing which is why I am leaving 2 stars The rooms are basic and the beds are hard The inside is pretty but very simple for such lavish prices

There are other hotels/resorts in the area with better prices My daughter who is a huge fan of dolly was unimpressed by the place and she is 7 I definitely will not be staying here again

Fantastic stay! This was a family vacation and we chose this location because of not only the amenities at the hotel offered but also the location to the Smoky mountains and the attractions around itFirst off the room was super clean and had everything we needed it was a two bedroom with a view of the pool Beds were fairly comfortable the showers were fantastic water heated very quickly and got nice and hot

The kitchen was super spacious and the kitchen table was nice and big fit all of usThe hotel itself offered an indoor water park and outdoor water park The outdoor water park was only open one of the days we were there since we were before the season really started I was aware of that before our stay so not a big deal and the day it was open was fairly chilly so we didn’t actually take advantage of it However we did go to the indoor water park almost every day and my son had a blast They had some neat attractions and my son loved all the splash areas and pool area for the little onesThere is also an arcade with some things to do a restaurant a candy shop etc Didn’t take advantage of like the mini golf or anything like that my son’s a little too young for that but we did take advantage of the arcade and he had a blast with that he can’t really play the games but he thinks he is and he had a great time with itThe location is Great especially if you’re staying for a lengthy amount of time and want to bring groceries there are several grocery selections right down the road and you’re only 30 minutes out from all of the major attractions in the Gatlinburg areaPigeon forge is even closer it’s just a fantastic location I highly recommend it to anyone wanting something that has a lot to do on property but also gives you the option of easy access outside of the property

Jason Higaki

Location was nice since it was outside of the really touristy area Room was very basic but good for what was needed We didn’t have the greatest experience considering there were ants in the room

Maintenance did take care of it, but when the issue was brought up, there didn’t seem to be much urgency to try and resolve the situation There are 3 main buildings there so be aware of this There is a shuttle that will take you to the main building with the indoor water park The front desk staff didn’t seem to be the friendliest and appeared to be some issues getting along with each other and helping each other outThe water park, both inside and out was nice The staff inside the water park were great Plenty to do in the water parkWould definitely recommend the water park portion (they do offer day passes), but might give it a second thought if staying there overnight Hopefully our experience will want the standard

TiJuana Jackson

My family and I have been visiting since 2013 and we love it here! This year we rented a Villa and it was beyond our expectations! The townhouse was very spacious for the 7 of us and it was equipped with everything we needed The shuttle service picked us up and brought us back which was and added bonus My children love the attractions and the restaurants available at the facilities

We have a great time every year and look forward to our next visit!

Even though the hotel is pricier than we usually stay in, there were 3 main reasons we chose to stay here:1-The handicap accessible room is large enough for the lift chair we rented for my husband2-We wanted to use his wheelchair & my scooter to visit the shops in The Island area3-All reviews & videos we had checked showed a wonderful breakfast

The guys at the valet stand were more than helpful with our luggage even though we used self parking Every employee was friendly & helpful The room was well equiped for my disabled husband We were able to visit the shops I wanted to in the area The only downside was the breakfast There wasn’t any They evidently serve breakfast in the bar, which is being renovated Nothing on the website referenced this We were not told about the lack of breakfast when we checked in I found out the next morning when I called guest services Due to the high cost of the rooms, you would expect a discount on the room charge or maybe a voucher for each person to be used in the coffee shop Other than the missing breakfast, we had a wonderful time

Mek Mek

This was my mom & I first time staying at the property The stay was awesome The rooms are beautiful and the staff was very helpful and friendly throughout the stay

Sammy is the guardian angel of the property She was very genuine and made us feel like we were right at home and a part of the family Lastly, mom and I had the hot stone message at the spa OMG that was the Best! Thank you for the best hotel experience mom & I ever had

We have been staying at Oak Haven for 18 years The cabins are always very clean and decorated beautifully The resort is so beautiful as well

You always know what you’re getting when you stay here The staff is always very kind and helpful The rates are more reasonable then some of the other companies near by If we could recommend one cabin that is out of this world with Mountain Views and somewhat private it would be cabin 81 3 bedroom 3 bath and absolutely gorgeous!! You will not be disappointed!

L R

We were looking for something that had the secluded feel but still close to everything for our anniversary – Oak Haven delivered It was easy to book, and the staff was very kind We stayed in cabin 99 and the view was great

This cabin also has an upstairs pool table which was so much fun The cabin was clean and had everything we needed I would highly recommend for your next couples or family trip

Buckeye Rides

I really enjoyed my short time there Having a shuttle to transport between parks/buildings is a huge help! Screaming/running kids everywhere is just kind of part of the whole experience, but it wasn’t too terrible Indoor Waterpark is pretty great

Outdoor park is crazy fun, but and I can’t emphasize this enough BRING PLENTY OF SUNBLOCK Don’t make the mistake of thinking it’s just there There’s places just down the road to get what you need, but definitely remember that if you plan to go Rooms were very clean, simple and that’s about all I can say about that Service in every situation was great, staff is friendly and willing to help Food is a little expensive, but I opted for the Thirsty Miner buffet and it was very good, plenty of options for everyone It was a really fun experience! Go there, plan ahead and have fun!!

Hannah Kistler

We are on our last day of a 5-night stay The rooms are very clean and customer service has been excellent I have been very impressed by the lifeguards and employees at the indoor water park – they are all kind and seem to take the safety of visitors seriously

My kids (9, 7 and 4) have had an absolute blast on the slides and in the wave pool Only drawbacks are:- The bathrooms at Stone Hill Lodge really are truly tiny, but we have survived- I wish there was free real coffee like most hotels offer (the teabag style coffee for the in-room coffee pots is pretty rough)- A second entrance to the hotel would be nice We stayed near the very end of Stone Hill Lodge and it seemed like half a mile from the main entrance to our room, which isn’t very convenient if you just need to run in to grab something But that may not be possible since it is literally built on a hill :)For the price we got it was fine, and we would probably return if we find a similar deal in the future

Jennifer McLeod

Rooms are clean and spacious Gives that little cabin feel with the furniture and decor The shuttle bus is vary convenient to go back and forth to the indoor Waterpark

Prices are very reasonable for a family on a budget Arcade area is huge with plenty for the kids to do The Waterparks did not disappoint! Plenty of fun for the whole family!

The Lodge at Five Oaks is incredible We were evacuated from our cabin at Brother’s Cove during the Hatcher mountain fire and we were frantic to find another place to stay as we were evacuated while we were at our wedding reception and we had a larger party with us who were all also staying at Brother’s Cove The folks at the Lodge at Five Oaks were so helpful and so kind to us

They made sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable Housekeeping cleaned our rooms daily and when we walked the halls someone always greeted us We will be staying here again when we visit Tennessee! It is also very conveniently located which is a major plus!

Laura Johnson

We booked our room about a week out and the prices were very good for the area on a weekend Location was about 10 miles from Gatlinburg but had plenty of wonderful things around it to do and a fabulous restaurant next door for an excellent farm breakfast! The rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were spacious with nice showers Pool had a small slide to kerp the kids busy and happy too!

Breakfast was great And the 2 pools and hot tub and lazy river were wonderful The staff we interacted with were professional and friendly It was a great place I would stay there again and I’m very picky about hotels

My friends and I first came to this hotel back in 2016 and it was just as enjoyable in 2022 as it was then! The building is beautiful and modern, very nice renovations, though there are a few minor touch-ups that could be improved (change outlet covers in rooms to new white to match paint, not aged off-white, the laminate floors in breakfast area were put down on uneven floor, resulting in air pockets that pop when stepped on)The indoor pool is very small, but big enough to still enjoy, as is the hot tub There are plenty of vending machines and many, many common areas to sit with your party and chat or catch up, both indoors and outdoors

The full breakfast was delicious, with coffee, tea, hot cider, and occasionally hot cocoa available at all times The breakfast area is available at all times and there is even a balcony to enjoy breakfast from on a nice morning!

This would be a great place to stay with kids The hotel is set up where everything is convenient I would give it a perfect score if the pullout bed wasn’t so bad

The mattress was very thin and the springs could be felt through it The rest of the room was great though The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean!Other than that, it was perfect! Indoor and outdoor pool options are so nice after a long day The breakfast was delicious and they kept the food stocked the entire time (see photos) We will definitely consider staying there again

I can’t say enough good about this lovely hotel They staff was very accommodating and service top notch Our room was actually a suite

It was exceptionally clean and well maintainedBreakfast was wonderful every morning We stayed for five nights and could not have been more comfortable One of the best surprises was the hot apple cider from morning till night kept on tap near the coffee We will not be searching for a place to stay any longer when we go to the Smoky mountains This was about as home as you can get

Great room size, nice balcony, EXCELLENT comfy bed and ohhh the pillows! Welcoming check in staff, even gave us a bottle of sparkling grape juice and cups for our anniversary stay Best water pressure for a shower we’ve ever experienced in a hotel Only 2 small complaints

hot tub only had 2 jets working, needs to be remodeled Also staff at breakfast were a little rude We arrived at 9:30 for breakfast which ended at 10am and they were already cleaning up One lady was cleaning the waffle maker and never said a word to us as we stood there waiting to use the waffle maker Why would they not wait until 10am to clean? Nice size breakfast room though and lots of options when not being put away too soon

Samantha at the front desk was absolutely hilarious and helpful She really made us feel welcomed and gave us great recommendations Our dog was the star of the show and everyone was so kind to my guy

It was his first time in a hotel and he was a little skeptical about it It’s in a great location and I love that we were able to take our dog with us Everyone was so nice and friendly Room was a little small but overall it was comfortable and clean The rooftop area was really nice We spent a couple evenings at sunset up there

Shanell Austin

The staff was very warming and welcoming We enjoyed our stay and didn’t encounter any issues outside of breakfast The beds sleep oh so well! My only complaint is the breakfast was not what we expected especially since we recently stayed at one in NC and it was amazing

We were under the impression since they were the same hotel, the breakfast would be the same or at least similar in taste But we were sadly mistaken The issue was the pancakes, gross! Outside of that, the location is very convenient, great sleep, and safe/clean place to book your stay We will definitely book/stay here again!

Breanna Hopkins

Staff was friendly and allowed us to check in a couple hours early Our room was clean and up to date The sky deck had an amazing overview of the city and also had plenty of seating areas as well as a fireplace

By the elevators on the main floor there were a lot of tips from staff on places to visit or eat Breakfast started a little late (7am) to our liking but was pretty good especially the unique pancake maker Overall would stay at this hotel again!

I say this with complete honesty that is undoubtedly the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in We entered to a large parking lot with plenty of space (Tesla and handicap parking as well) and took in a huge Christmas themed building The inside is decorated from top to bottom with Christmas decor and has the most wonderful scent of the holiday season

I thought the trees may be dusty or tacky but everything was truly clean as could be and very in styleThe rooms were beautiful and immaculately clean! I’ve never stayed somewhere so clean and polishedEvery morning you can visit with Santa downstairs and enjoy a wonderful complimentary breakfast that features an omelet bar, waffle station, continental buffet, and more Sit outside and enjoy the beautiful courtyard!Every evening there’s complimentary cookies at the front desk and coffee/lemonade served daily all day in the lobby Try their signature flavor, you won’t regret it!We absolutely cannot wait to come back to the amazing gem of a hotel

We have been staying here since it opened 15 years ago It’s always been a five star experience My kids say they love it more than the Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons

The indoor and outdoor pools are fun with the slide Free coffee and lemonade all day Freshly baked cookies every day at 8pm The two room suites are especially nice with a kitchen and large Christmas tree

Bryon Edwards

Had a wonderful opportunity to have an inside look of the luxurious units they have with Wyndham You can’t go wrong with Wyndham They basically have everything a family needs while on vacation

Spacious, comfortable, and entertaining for the whole familyThe units vary in the amount of space by how many rooms you need to accommodate your family My words alone can’t explain the look and feel of the rooms when you walk inWe had our kids with us on vacation when we the chance to look at the different rooms and options that Wyndham had to offer

DisneyDingDong222

This shares with the wilderness at the Great Smokies which is where I left my main review but just wanted to leave a little one here and say that this was a great stay The rooms were clean The hotel has a lot of amenities The location is fantasticMy only complaint would be that they do kind of get on you about doing the 90 minutes meeting to discuss their timeshare if you are not a current member This was a late wedding gift to me and my husband from my stepmother and my father as they are the owners of the timeshare so we went and stayed as their guests

Full disclosure we own a timeshare with Disney and we are not looking to add any more so I was very clear with them that I was not interested but they kept calling anyways and that’s fine but just a heads up for anyone else

Randy McCleary

This was our first time staying in one of the presidential suites, and they were super nice compared to the standard rooms The suite was super spacious, the washer and dryer was full-size, the kitchen had lots of room The presidential suites here face the golf course which is really nice, but we wish they also had some that face the Smoky Mountains

The last time we stayed there we had one of the upper level rooms that had a great view of the Smoky Mountains

This hotel takes clean to a whole new level, it is immaculate and very inviting We felt very relaxed being here There are plenty of amenities, but we enjoyed sitting around the fireplace in the lobby

The staff is top tier, everyone was welcoming and accommodating The staff all seemed happy too, which goes a long way in making guests feel at home I stay in Marriott properties 6 months out of the year, and this is in my top 3 favorite locations Keep up the great work! We will be back!

Courtney Rambo

I was blown away at how wonderful my experience was here! Compared to what other hotels and lodges look like in the area and how touristy it is here, this one was not tacky at all and felt very mature and comfy The pools were awesome, the huge bonfire in the back was really nice, and the room was spacious Even the bathroom and shower were bigger than most other hotels I’ve been to

It felt luxurious considering my budget but didn’t break the bank They have a nice military discount tooThe only complaint is that there is no complementary breakfast and the cafe serving Starbucks is closed by 10am which is a little early in my opinion when people like me want to sleep in on my vacation haha! But there are many breakfast and coffee places just blocks away, we often didn’t drive more than 5 minutes to get to every restaurant we wanted to visit Definitely book your stay here!!

Megan K

I am a very seasoned Marriott customer and Bonvoy Member and have stayed in Marriott properties all over the US from top tier to lower tier This Courtyard Marriott is fantastic Clean (they scent the inside and it smells delightful), beautiful interiors and exterior

They have a bar in the lobby that also serves coffee on the morning and food to go that was very convenient The lazy river and the fire pit outdoors were great It’s right next to the river and saw lots of kids playing in it and adults sitting on camping chairs in it fishing as well 2 different kinds of fruit water each day in front of the elevators that was great Rooms were nice and updated Kudos to the property manager here You’re doing a great job We will hands down stay here each time we’re in town
