Amenities were a fair value I guess as the whole area seems a bit pricey Anthony at checkin was amazing Exceedingly kind, sweet & thoughtful

Decor is up to date throughout and our room was nicely done as well Scrambled eggs were perfect in the am So many places have them too wet or too minced up Very nice pool area and a large lovely patio/courtyard to chill within Their sidewalk connects to a wonderful walking trail that I highly recommend Safe, clean, adorable & we got 2 miles in in 30 minutes!

Love this place It is but one mile from my home, yet I stay here yearly It is spacious, clean, and well designed

The pond and fountain are beautiful The front desk is quick to respondI have two gripes The hallway seems musty, as though it is has no air conditioning Not a good first impressionThe bed is a bit hard for my taste, but not lumpy I prefer a pillow topParking is excellent

Mario Lucero

We stayed at this hotel last week, during our family vacation At first, the hotel didn’t have a room that could accommodate my shower chair, because I’m disabled However, the staff were so polite, professional and courteous

It took them a day, but they were finally able to put me in a room that accommodated my needs Would definitely recommend this priory to anyone

Wow, we’re do I start! Have never been to a hotel with such a wide group of staff that are all so positive happy and welcoming!! I just happen to come during the bulldog show and loved how dog friendly the whole place is!! Breakfast was a hit ! We ended up extending our stay for another week and driving an extra 45min from our event we were attending just because of our nice experience I definitely recommend, especially if your looking for a dog friendly location I will definitely be looking forward to another stay in the future!

Stephanie Schupbach

We stayed 5 nights, over all we were satisfied The breakfast was very, very good! The staff was friendly and helpfulThe Mattresses ( we had a suite) were hard, which was disappointing- maybe the hotel should consider an upgrade

The hotel could also use a fresh “set ” of towels We had plenty, but they are showing their wear

Premier Moments

We had our family reunion here and it was really nice! The rooms were adequately cleaned, they also included a fridge microwave and coffee ☕️ machine with coffee provided Breakfast was good We had a formal dinner there and the food was was pretty good

Glad to have stayed herePlease consider,Be mindful of the area, there appears to be a percentage of homeless who come near the hotel periodically They were not hostile and none so much as talked to us so I would just say be mindful This is in no way a negative reflection of the hotel

Adam Goebel

This hotel isn’t bad Came here for an orientation I guess the photos of remodeled rooms are fake because it still has a dated style with awkward red carpets

Maybe only the furniture was upgraded, but it was clean I liked the small balcony but there is a lot of outside noise leaking through the large glass doorsyou can hear everything outside Anyways I was expecting it to be worse but it was a little better than my expectations at least Definitely over priced

D W

The check in process was smooth Staff is helpful Plenty of parking on the property

Located close to McDonald’s The rooms are cleanAll the benefits are overshadowed by the questionable charging practices I experienced It was noted that there was breakfast available at this location There is, but it costs $10-15 per person, no free continental breakfast available During check in, you are charged a $5 “resort fee” on top of the room rate Upon check out, there is a mysterious $1303 charge that was added when I checked my credit card company charges When I called to ask the hotel, I was told these charges are valid I subsequently emailed the hotel to explain what these charges are I received an email response the same day stating that the $1303 charge was an error and will be removed Though I understand mistakes do happen, I find it troubling that this issue has plagued other visitors based on the reviews I have seen Customer beware!

Chris Bray

The staff is friendly That’s about the only positive I can give this place Car missing two tires up on jacks in the parking lot, numerous tiles smashed in the elevator (serious safety issue), the room was spartan at best, the hotel needs a new paint job, you could tell where walls in our bathroom had been destroyed and repaired and dry walled

The tub had rust in it, no way to actually take a bath, and the towels were scratchy and threadbare I’ll pass on every coming back here again Avoid this hotel Oh yeah, the back parking lot looks like the place you’d never park your car because you’d be afraid it would get stolen Limited lighting, and overall a vibe of danger

T Reynolds

My family and I stayed here on 3/11 due to an issue with our home I checked us in and the Front Desk guy was friendly and answered all my questions The lobby looked huge and there was plenty of seating

The room was alright It was clean but there was definitely visible damage to the walls; the door stop was shoved into the wall and the bathroom had water damage where the shower had sprayed out of the bath tub onto the wall The door was weird because sometimes it was hard to open while making an awful noise and other times you could push it open with one finger We didnt make it to the free breakfast but I loved that their checkout time was noon The beds and pillows were comfortable, the shower gel/shampoo/conditioner the hotel provided smelled really good and seemed like it had cleaner ingredients, and the shower pressure/temperature felt amazing Checkout was very simple, the Front Desk woman was friendly and helpfulInitially, I was worried to stay here (because there is a review on priceline that said there was blood splatter on the walls) but ultimately decided to because of the price, and based off this experience, I would definitely consider staying here again

Regina Hull

I cannot express enough how grateful I am to Luis Fuentes, front desk clerk He literally saved my life My husband and I stayed here last week, Wednesday through Saturday

I was laid up, recovering from a 7 hour major oral surgery My husband had walked across the street to pick up some dinner to bring back to the room ( he had to wait in the doctor’s office the entire time while I was having the surgery) so he hadn’t eaten While he was gone, I must have realized that my gauze needed to be changed because I was swallowing so much blood, I could have choked on my own blood and gauze I managed to pick up the phone and pushed zero It was Luis I couldn’t talk, just mumbled help He came right up immediately and put on rubber gloves, removed the blood soaked gauze and placed fresh gauze in my mouth he also turned off all the lights for me as he left What a Hero, he also brought up extra pillows and butter He is truly a lifesaver A super star all the way He went above and beyond his job description Anyone else would have just probably called 911 A few minutes later my husband came back and in the lobby, Louis told my husband everythingI was so out of it from anesthesia, I don’t remember everything but my husband filled me in the next afternoon Luis deserves a huge bonus reward for his excellent care and compassion Holiday Inn is so fortunate to have an employee as Wonderful as Luis, and he should be recognized for his heroic deeds Thank you Luismay God Bless and keep you!

Jai Spataro (Jaime A Buettner)

It is a much better atmosphere in the summer for couples/ families Winter season seems a tad, too boring I suggest this place for couples specifically that want a relaxing, fun environment with or without golf

Food is great in the main lodge! The breakfast is a must! The steakhouse has a seasonal but exciting menu I still preferred the summer offeringsLive music and atmosphere are great Overall, I am happy with my stays and more I will plan in the future!

Erica Gallo

I cannot say how beautiful and perfect the Wigwam was for our wedding From the setting to the food, this team did an outstanding job taking care of our group As a February wedding with most guests coming from the Midwest, this resort was exactly what we hoped for

We were looking for a venue where friends and family would be gathering around and enjoying perfect weather, good food, golf, and get to experience the essence of Arizona The Wigwam is the most hidden gem in this state The great rates for hotel rooms, spa, golf, and food our guests had an amazing weekend We highly recommend this property and we look forward to having our anniversaries at the Wigwam each year

Michelle Lynn Kittredge

Dining or having an event here is probably one of the most romantic and well organized establishments I’ve ever been to and have the pleasure to work for The staff for courteous well-mannered and well-dressed definitely a place to impress the girl of your dreams or the man in your future or for the perfect couple to get away The food is divine and the place is so well kept

Eduardo the event coordinator and manager is a kind and fair man He will ensure that your event goes smoothly and it’s very well planned and that you are given all that you need on your special day Thank you wigwam for bringing your establishment to Arizona for all of us to enjoy

These suites are spectacular! loved how everything looked from the lobby to the rooms, sheets, curtains, furniture, carpet! walking into our room i felt comfortable putting my stuff on the ground the room was so nice, everything was so well maintained, very clean and the staff members were all so very kind at times i would be leaving my room and saw staff cleaning the rooms and they’d be steaming the carpet and cleaning the room from top to bottom, very pleased and felt comfortable staying there knowing that they complied and deep cleaned the rooms

i honestly have nothing but good things to say about these suites everything to malls and restaurants were nearby so many options booking again come February

Senthil

Stayed at numerous other Spring Hill hotels, however this one was the least enjoyable Rooms are cramped and small, but the price is high The morning meal was great

The front desk personnel were really pleasant and helpful There are plenty of dining options and supermarkets in the area Location and quality of service are the primary factors in the awarding of stars

Francis Burghart

I would NOT recommend this property and I say this as a 110-130 hotel nights/year at Marriott exclusivelyWalked into my suite and I had to install the AC filters (because they were left on the bed) but the system was off and the window was wide open so the room was crazy hotFurther, the refrigerator was unplugged and left wide open so super warm, and there was linen left on the pullout from the previous guest

Price is super cheap for Phoenix but……you get what you pay for At least the bed is comfy!

The service done by the people is great Location is goodThe lobby and breakfast room is so hot

It must be tough for the front desk personThe hotel has 3 stories but the elevator is out of serviceBreakfast: this us the first time ever that in a Marriott Hotel chain we were served with instant Oatmeal that is watery Great disappointment and Marriott Corporate should take corrective action not to let one hotel spoil their established reputationRoom: no closet at all, just a rod with hangers The width of tge rod is 2 feet The only drawer to store anything is below the TV, see photoI guess this hotel caters to one or two night stay We have to stay 10 nights However light we packed, the room set up just cannot accommodate itLayout of the room is not optimalSame name hotel we stayed in Washington state is so different Marriott corporate should pay attention to the uniformity of their high standards

Paul Goodman

Honestly I read a lot of bad reviews about this place and yes it does still need some tlc but they seem to be moving in the right direction Beds were comfortable room was clean Large rooms

Breakfast was really good Staff was pleasant Evening shift was my favorite especially the red headed girl She helped someone out that was less fortunate and I respected that more than anything Anyway now for the bad Obviously the elevator is broken and has been for months Fix it already Stairwell had a weird odor, carpets just need ripped out and replaced, pool needs an available net to clean or staff cleaning it more often, bathroom light was sketch when you turn it on Flickered like a strobe light Thought I was at a rave Other than that it really wasn’t bad Price is about where it needs to be for the level of quality

Shayna Johnson

I stayed here for work 2 weeks in a row, but 1 night each Both times my hotel room was dirty The first time I stayed here, the bathroom floor had shoe prints on it, and the carpet was dirty

When I stayed on Thursday, there was hair in the tub, and in the morning I found a huge cockroach on the wall (I even took a picture of it) This hotel charged me $150 for incidentals, and it doesn’t get returned back to me for a week Not to mention, the elevator is still broken However, the gentleman that checked me in Thursday night was nice, the breakfast was good, and the beds were comfortable

We stayed here July 12th The room was very spacious and clean We were on the first floor and had a door right out to the pool

The pool was nice and warm seeing as how it was 108* out that day We were the only ones in it and it was very relaxing The check in gentleman was very friendly and informative We had to check out super early because of our early flight home and the check out gentleman was also very polite This was close to lots of food and we would definitely stay here again when back in Phoenix

Kelly Wells

This hotel is centrally located in North Phoenix It is by several restaurants and close to the interstate We rented a King suite which was spacious

We always stay in suites, although this is a nice hotel the furniture is very uncomfortable This was the first time our suite didn’t have a table to eat at and the square footage was smaller than most

Samuel Mcclellan

I was riding across country and needed a place to spend the night I saw the hotel from the freeway and made my way through some tortuous streets and road closures to get there So glad I did!!Enrique at the front desk was a prince

I was very hot and tired – having ridden 700 miles that day – and he provided me with a great room where I could look out and see my bike (very important) The bed was comfortable and the shower divineI had a tasty bourbon and took it outside into the courtyard So pleasant and very quiet considering it’s right next to I-17 I heartily recommend this fine hotel

The lady at the front was pleasant when we checked it Let us know times of pool/slide, restaurant and Cafe openOur room carpet had 3 large stains on the floor, with a tough and sticky texture

We have a baby who crawls all around so this was quite a turn off to start out withWhen turning on the light in the bathroom, fridge and AC unit there was a buzzing noise A constant buzzing sound the entire time The bathtub plug that was in the tub did not seal the bath I had to use a plastic cup and some cardboard to get the tub to stay because the plug didn’t work I have two small kids who need take baths One light was burnt out (or dirty so it didn’t work) in the bathroom There were huge chunks of dirt hanging from the vent, looks like it had never been cleanedWe choose this hotel for the slide, come to find out it was only open Saturday/Sunday 10-4 That was fine, we decided to hit up the slide both days Saturday was great, the lifeguard was really nice and helpful But on Sunday the lifeguard left at like 1:30 and never returned So we didn’t even get to enjoy the slide on SundaySame went for the breakfast Coyote Cafe The hours said 6-12 but it closed when we went just before 11I am honestly so disappointed and dissatisfied with my stayI could have gone somewhere for half the price with the condition that this hotel was in The slide is not worth staying here! It’s so gross and dirtyAnd have reached out to customer service and they just forwarded me to the front desk manager, Jasmine who had failed to respond to several emailsVery disappointing

This review will be in two parts One on the hotel and the neighborhoodThe hotel itself is older

From what a local told me it is one of the oldest businesses there It is clean and somewhat updated The room we booked had 2 queen beds and is pretty large The bathroom is old except for the shower tiles We had a street main entrance room which is a nice view The staff is helpful and friendlyWe had a late dinner I had a cowboy burger and my daughter had a pulled pork sandwich Both were okay, and hit the spot when one had not eaten for almost 12 hoursCons is the noise from the highway, other rooms and hallway Location is in an unsafe area Pretty much every local told me not to walk outside of the hotel once it gets dark Even crossing the street in the day was not advised due to the construction on one side of the block then the group of homeless people on the other

Lawrence Talahongva

Decent rooms, some minor damage seen throughout the room and hotel Gym is nice but occasionally the doors won’t open very well especially the rear exit only door sticks to concrete that has raised and prevents from opening more than 6 inches Restaurant is pretty good, service is exceptional

It looks great outside and nice lobby with 3 pools and water slide, tennis courts and racquetball court in gym area It’s nice and may consider a return visit

Astounding!! I am completely floored by this stand alone location The service, genuine cheerfulness and concern we received during our stay have captivated us and brought each of us to say – there is something special here! Every staff member we have encountered from Morgan at the front desk to Tamara & Deb and the sweet ladies in the kitchen have a smile on their face, made us feel so welcome and gone out of their way to make sure we are comfortable Three Cheers to this Residence & the stand alone culture of care they have created to rival the greats of hospitality

Super clean hotel with amazing service They serve hot breakfast daily and it’s delicious Lots of options and they change what’s served daily so you don’t get bored of the same thing

Two bedroom suites have a full kitchen including a dishwasher! Outdoor area has a nice size, clean pool and a beautiful bbq grill area with a fire pit There is also a gym and a laundry room They are pet friendly as well but they do a good job of keeping everything clean Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and will be back

Karl Bean

What a great experience The rooms were big (fit my family of 7 in the 2 room suite) The breakfast was great every day, big portions and hot food and fresh fruit options

The staff was super friendly and helpful Parking was close and easy The pool was a little small but uncrowded and very cleanMy only complaint is not for us: Please fix the air conditioner in the laundry room for those hardworking ladies!! They laughed and didn’t complain but we could feel the warm air when we walked by the laundry

After renting we bought a park model 3 years ago We enjoy Sunflower as our “winter home” and LOVE the great amenities they offer My husband is a cyclist and very much enjoys riding with a group of other cyclists several times a week

We both enjoy the Cactus Grill and live music during the week The staff is always helpful and we love the level of cleanliness the resort maintains Lots to do and a great place to retire!

We bought our park model here 3 years ago after first staying in an RV spot It is a decision we have never regretted!! We love the amenities! (especially the Cactus Bar and Grill and their AMAZING staff!) my husband enjoys the card room and the men’s golf groups We have tried many things that are offered here and still haven’t tried it all! The bands on the weeknights are another great thing! Highly recommend this RV Resort! Jennifer Hiner

I went to go tovan estimate for my business at a residence there I arrived at the security guard hut and I was at least 10 cars deep if nor more The line never moved in 10 minutes

That would have made it at least 30 mi minutes until I could get through the gate I don’t have that kind of time I had to call my customer and reschedule the estimate Ridiculous

This was a great hotel The staff was pleasant to interact with, especially Sonora from the cleaning staff and another lady with dark hair working the day before her The gentleman who checked us in (possibly a manager) was also wonderfully professional and kind

We would have liked to see more options added to the breakfast buffet, and the pictures of the room online looked much bigger than it actually was in person, but overall we were very pleased with our stay

We stayed long term in this hotel We loved the location of the hotel, walking distance to the outlet shops, Westgate entertainment center and StateFarm stadium Awesome customer service, front desk staff was always ready to help and made sure that we were always satisfied

I loved the fact that they gave free water bottles, what a good gesture! Breakfast was good with lot of choices Rooms were big and spacious with very nice sunset views (not for rooms facing swimming pool) We would anytime go back to stay at this hotel

Very clean place! I really appreciated the wide variety for their breakfast and it was not the same thing every morning which was nice We came in July (116 degree weather) and the pool felt like 90 degrees, so it wasn’t very helpful for a cool down, but my kids liked it either way The room itself looked spotless

Me being a germaphobe nurse, I brought my own Clorox wipes to wipe down everything, including the floors and the wipes were black afterwards We definitely are staying here again! Very decent on the price and location (right by football stadium)

Hotel is nice looking and has a nice pool etc was having a great stay until I found bed bugs in my king bed (or what appears to be some form of bed bug)!!! Will never return here again and I highly recommend not coming here or if you do always check every inch of your bed!! Beware!! Will definitely be spreading the word to the rest of my company who very frequently gives lots of business to this place!!

Overall my stay was comfortable When I needed rest I was able to sleep Only thing that was uncomfortable was in the bathroom

The shower needs work, I believe I was in room 204 The shower also needed cleaning I understand turnaround time, as I was once a housekeeper for a hospital, but I saw a housekeeper cleaning a room and asked for more towels and never received them

I can’t say enough about this beautiful hotel Our AC went out during a heat advisory The front staff accommodated us and treated us like family during our entire stay

The rooms are amazing and spacious, breakfast is tasty, and the pool area is refreshing Upon arrival we received a complimentary adult beverage and the bar attendant was super sweet Paula and Lindy went above and beyond to help us have a beautiful stay along with other front desk staff and housekeeping Thank you all from the bottom of my heart See you y’all soon

We told the desk clerk that I have trouble walking and were told “no problem, we’ll put you in a room by the elevator” When we arrived it became apparent that was Literally the Farthest from the truth! The room was a Long walk to the far end of the hall! It was by the stairwell – which is great if you Can climb stairs to the 3rd floor When we questioned the desk attendant we were just told they “hadn’t moved us since we called and booked the room

” I wanted to ask if they had maybe moved the elevator?!! They had no other rooms, it was an emergency trip and we were tired so we stayed ALSO hated how, in order to get a Decent rate, we had to sign up for their rewards They then tried to sell us on some vacation package and when we declined, they asked Why! ???!!! Why because we were there on a family emergency and weren’t thinking vacation Oh and $50 for the pet fee?? Crazy! For that, there should have been biscuits and a dog bed! On the positive side, the room was beautiful and clean and the hot breakfast was great But we won’t stay there again

Bree

Our air conditioning unit went out and we spent the night here with our family pet The room was nice and clean The front desk staff was very friendly, and gave us, a little bag of supplies for our pet

The breakfast was good and consisted of both warm and cold food Great coffee 👍 Location was very convenient, close to grocery store,, Starbucks restaurants

Don’t forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking your stay This website will compare countless booking websites and typically will have rates much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This resort is one of the most well known in this area

I have been staying here for years If you decide to stay here you for sure won’t be disappointedExcellent stay at this hotel Very friendly and efficient front desk staff Very good breakfast and service Great parking available near a door entrance made getting suitcases into our room The complementary luggage carts made getting onto our room a breeze also

Brittney Cox

As you enter the hotel, the first person to greet you is a local homeless man rummaging through the trash just outside the main doors After you settle into your room that reeks of stale cigarettes and regrets, you will notice the transfer smudges and finger prints on the desk area, it’s like living your very own game of clue Around 2am, you will be awakened by the sound of 2 homeless men fighting each other just across the street or, if you’re lucky like I was, they will be fighting in the parking lot just beneath your window

There are many restaurants located just a short walking distance from the hotel, you will be assigned a homeless buddy that will follow you everywhere you go It’s nice knowing you have a set of eyes on you everywhere you go Speaking of safety, the gas station even has their very own security guard to escort you safely back to your vehicle I paid $250+ a night for this luxury location I’m assuming for the late night shows and personal security from the locals? Unfortunately, due to lack of sleep and personal safety reasons, I will not be returning to this location… ever

good: great breakfast selection of waffles, eggs, sausage, potatoes, cereals, yogurt, breads & pastries, juicescheck-in was fast and easy room was spacious and modernized

mini-fridge and microwave were great to have in roombad: did not get housekeeping 2nd day, had to ask if someone was still coming second time at 5pm the following day and then someone finally did show up to clean On two different occasions room keys stopped working and we had to go to desk to have them redone Neighbors were extremely loud (not that this was the hotels fault necessarily, but definitely made the stay less enjoyable) Mattress was way too soft and uncomfortable Key entrance to side door was broken so door was just propped open with a rock for anyone to come and go – did not feel safeneutral – indoor pool was clean, but being indoors made it very loud as the sound echoed a lot and chlorine burned the eyes sitting in there – but at the same time it was nice to not be sitting out in the sun

Will never stay or put my guest here again The room was dirty and was brought to staffs attention When my guest return their room had not been cleaned

When I brought this to management they said someone would call me back A manager said I can offer you 2500 points I said I will need stay here again they said they would have upper management call me, that wa a month ago I’ve called 3 more times and nobody is ever available to address my concern I’m a travel and can say I will never stay at this comfort inn in Surprise Arizona not put any of my clients or guest there ever again Very unhappy customer 😡

$124 for a room on third floor overlooking the rat infested roof AC units are loud and make knocking noise The 3rd floor hallway has no air circulation and smells like dog urine

The pool is very unkept and has clumps of hair floating at bottom The hairdryer in the room started smoking immediately after turning on The carpets are old and very outdated/stainedSAVE YOURSELF MONEY AND TIME I would give this place a 2/10 YUCK!I don’t come from upper class or terribly rich lifestyle but I do know that this place isn’t nicely kept

This is a beautiful newer hotel We tried to grab a drink at the bar and a bite to eat but the bartender was serving as both the bartender and the chef so, after a fifteen minute wait, we ended up going elsewhere We could’ve waited a little longer but there was an alarm going off in the lobby the entire time and it was grinding on us

Once they are properly staffed, I can see this location going to five stars

Great new hotel in SurpriseClean and beautiful facilities, decent rooms, excellent room serviceSelf laundry rooms with soap and dryer sheets available

Best part was fresh breakfast made to order My hotel rate was including the breakfast and I was surprised by the food quality and the service Quick and easy and you are on your wayHighly recommended if you are in Surprise Arizona!

We stayed here four very pleasant nightsIn spite of some Covid limitations on the housekeeping and restaurant offerings, we really recommend this hotel! It’s a newer hotel and very quiet while we were thereBreakfast buffet has a $9 charge, but let me tell you, it was worth it after all the meager bagged hotel breakfasts we experienced during Covid

Large variety of pastries and bread, two kinds of yogurt, cooked oatmeal with lots of toppings including walnuts and chia seeds, juices, and four or five fresh fruit choices Angie and Maria were friendly and helpful in getting the breakfast items we wantedWe also throughly enjoyed the service from Orlando and Will in the bar area over several nights They too were very responsive and worked to get our cocktails just right For a small bar, it was well stocked with assortment of beer, wine, and liquors Besides the pool, there are two other outside seating areas We enjoyed the breakfast patio and the fire pit lounge
