I really enjoyed my stay at this particular Comfort Suites! The front desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly, their salutations made us feel welcomed! The breakfast was awesome, nice warm food to wake up to every morning We were supposed to stay 2 nights, but it was so comfortable we decided to stay an additional night! I think the only thing I would say they need improvement on was that we asked for housekeeping services while we were out of our room, but they didn’t get around to it after 3 hours of being gone There were 2 housekeepers who were a bit unprofessional there

One housekeeper entered the room without knocking, and asked us if we were leaving already The other would stare at us everytime we went swimming, as if they had no work to do, and on the final morning that same housekeeper sees us exiting our room, asks us if we are leaving, we respond yes, and she enters the room we were in, then opens the curtains and is staring at us from inside the room we stayed in It felt a bit creepy and uncomfortable, lucky for her we had done her the favor and thrown out our own trash and left the room pretty clean prior to checking out that morning I felt they could’ve done a better job with the upkeep of the room when we requested for service, and spend less time staring at their guests as if they had nothing left to do! Thank you to one particular housekeeper who was so friendly and offered us towels and toiletries as she was just passing by the hallway! Overall, thank you Comfort Suites for making our family weekend a fun, relaxing, and enjoyable memory!

We stayed in this hotel 3 years ago but the quality has gone down sadly The front desk staff is very nice and helpful Our first room during this stay the bathroom was dirty and the refrigerator was not working so the front desk girl was kind and gave us another room

This room bathroom had less mold in the bathroom but it was very dirty The dust on the curtains was terrible and the air conditioner look like it hasn’t been clean in a long time so did the carpet I usually buy my own clean products so I wipe down everything we had severe allergies due to all the dust I also clean doors, tables, phone, and even the elevator that was nasty It is sad to see that they really do not care for this cute hotel Breakfast was ok, not much to chose from except for waffles the eggs and the sausages was not very tasty But service in the breakfast area was nice

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this motel Yes, it was a little worn around the edges but the quality was very good I appreciated the little extras like toothpaste that were provided, and the comfortable bed

The staff was very friendly The breakfast was basic but adequate Packaged oatmeal and pastries, two kinds of yogurt, (Greek and regular), coffee and juices I would stay here again

ling chen

Clean room and comfortable bed Clean bathroom Really appreciate extra soap and shampoo

Front desk desk service is great Book a one night room and upon walk toward our door heard baby crying Request switch a quiet room and front desk lady was really helpful for switching us to a different room Decide to stay here one more night so I told the front lady She told me, I can book through online website, it will be cheaper than book directly in front desk Really appreciate this information Customer service is good

John Michael AZona

An older hotel that shows it’s age with the decor through out the building But, I must admit the bed was very comfortable and rooms were clean The hotel staff were friendly and helpful

There isn’t a restaurant or exercise room and the computer center is one computer So, if you’re looking for all the bell’s and whistles; this place is not for you

I am a fan of historic hotels My primary purpose coming to El Paso was to spend the night at this hotel I thoroughly enjoyed my stay

The outside temperature yesterday was 101 degrees F, but my room was comfortable The hotel’s evaporative cooling system worked fine for me The front desk staff was very helpful answering my questions and with recommendations on places to eat in the area

Caroline Hughes

Old but nice It’s much better than a Knights Inn by the airport It is 1 smidge more comfortable than sitting upright on a bus all night

If you’ve stayed in a US hostel before and understand the concept of evaporative cooling, you know what to expect But it is the reddest of red flags that the front desk actually points out (twice) that once paid, bookings are non-refundable Do not walk past that red flag DO NOT under any circumstances book a room here unless you are planning to be OUT until bar time or simply don’t like to sleep before 3 AM The music starts at 9 sharp and drastically intensifies at midnight – it goes from your typical bass thumping to full on lyrical comprehension of a Lana del Rey/Bodies hit the floor mashup Extra unfortunately for me, I actually need to *wake up* at 2am, so instead of a mildly uncomfortable night, I get zero sleep at all I offer my gratitude that I only have to be here one night The health department, the zoning board, or God himself would intervene and shut this place down I am thoroughly convinced that the existence of this hotel/club juxtaposition is a curse upon the people of Texas, and those who have the misfortune of visiting Texas, surely brought on by all the human rights violations that Texas has managed to accomplish despite being conquered 6 times in recent history The fact that the staff even offers Earplugs is hilarious Earplugs do not and cannot and were never designed to block or even reduce the type of noise that comes from the bar/club next to this hotel

joab rey

Great tourist place to visit, it takes you back decades with it’s simple but functional design, the rooms are relatively small compared to equally priced hotels, but they’re not tiny, there’s enough room it can get a little hot if you’re not used to el paso weather, but the friendly staff will gladly provide a fan on request Also, parking is almost non existent, there’s only a couple of spaces reserved in front of the hotel, more than likely you will have to search the surrounding streets

There are restaurants that serve great food and drinks and night clubs adjacent to the hotel Which is a plus This hotel is more dedicated for business, and for singles or couples without kids Recommended

I’ve stayed all over the country and have had good and bad hotel stays Rarely have I had an outstanding stay However, my stay here was outstanding! The front desk staff was helpful and allowed me to check in early and out late

The kitchen staff was friendly and cooked amazing food! Management went above and beyond The shuttle was being maintained and Alex without asking called and paid for my taxi to the airport! AMAZING!Great rooms, comfortable beds, and great location! This is my new home when I visit El Paso! Thank you all!

Dirty walls, dirty , stained carpet and stained curtains That’s the 1st and lasting impression Furniture and beds were nice , sink area nice but the previous views of room tainted the overnight stay

It was late at night so we chose to stay Also the faucet was not fully attached or anchored The staff was pleasant, helpful and accommodating and changed our room from the freeway noise side of building to a quieter room Also the restaurant closed early We had bedbug or chigger bites the next morning from the bed or nasty carpet Do not stay here

Tori

Interesting hotel Not terriblePros: bar and restaurant inside

Lobby has a snack bar area Decent amount of privacy Shower water pressure Comfortable bedCons: you have to walk outside to get to the lobby/bar, which isn’t ideal in the summer heat Room that we stayed in was missing a tv remote, stains on the carpet, and was clearly missing a couchSo overall, a 35 experience Not for people that have trouble walking

Stopped by this hotel on a whim, without reservations, with a friend from out of town How lucky for us they had a room available, how even luckier for us to be helped by such great staff The two people working the front desk offered us plenty of amazing options when we asked about bars in the neighborhood

The valet was very friendly and chatty The room was perfect, our room faced east and in the morning, we opened the curtains and we watched the sun come up from the floor the ceiling windows Great experience, would absolutely return

Wonderful hotel Felt like a celebrity staying in the hotel Staff were so accommodating and simply wonderful, very very friendly

Reasonable price, wonderful gym, incredibly clean rooms, food was simply wonderful Very close to the Coca-Cola experience and aquariumIt is right beside lots of bars and restaurants, right in the middle of downtown Atlanta However, while in the room it is so quiet and you would not think you were in the middle of a cityDefinitely worth a visit, I promise you won’t be disappointed

This is one of the newer hotels in Downtown El Paso Check-in and reception area are very stylish and the staff very friendly The rooms by the pool are very nice with balconies with tables and chairs overlooking the pool

The pool is crystal blue and welcoming There is only one suite for the entire hotel, so you better reserve with plenty of time The property is near museums and Southwest University Park The hotel has recently had carpet upgrades, and the rooms will get carpet upgrades next

Nelia Isidro

I was sad when I found out that El Paso Del Norte hotel rate the time I’m staying at this hotel is almost the same, if not a bit cheaper, for way better amenities, food and property condition in generalHowever, my main complain is towards the front desk(FD) people It was frustrating to call for something and not get it or worst not receive courtesy call to follow up

For example, I called FD thinking they simply missed to clean my room I was told they only clean scheduled rooms (Is this new hotel rules now? We need to call to schedule to clean our room now?) I fled to have someone clean my room as it needs cleaning badly and that I’ll be checking out the following day when he can schedule to clean my room He said he will make calls and see if he can have someone do it I’ve waited but no one showed up The following day I’ve called again to ask for clean towels Again, no one showed up I was so frustrated that I’ve decided to go to FD I was walking towards the elevator when I saw the cleaning lady cleaning other room I’ve decided to ask her for clean towels instead since I don’t have that much time before I needed to check out My point is the FD people don’t do what they said they will do nor give you a courtesy call to update you so you’re not waiting for nothing I will not be staying at this Hilton location again next time I’m in El Paso I much rather pay a little bit more to stay at better hotel

Jonathan

The staff at this location is outstanding One of the best I have seen in hotels I have stayed at They are very welcoming and filled with information that can come in handy

The lobby is nice but the rooms are in some desperate need of a major overhaul

We’ve stayed at this particular hotel about 6 times over the last 3 years Always great service Beds are comfy

Our rooms smell clean when we walk in Extending our stay was easy (using the Bonvoy site as suggested By the front desk since we use our Marriott points by preference), given that there were rooms available Breakfast from 7-10am Pets are allowed And the kitchen is a plus! It has everything needed Nice and open parking lot, you can park a camper/trailer Right off the highway Plenty of restaurants to eat out at and a Walmart store

Bella Suazo

Love this place! Liz at the front desk was really nice and accommodating The room is really spacious! Traveling with two large dogs it’s nice to come to a place where dogs are treated like part of the familyVery close to fast food restaurants, shopping, and banks

Really close to the highwayCan’t wait to stay here again

Great hotel for extended work related stays or just a quick getaway from home Conveniently located near shopping centers, grocery stores, and plenty of restaurants, easy highway accessProperty was very clean inside and out

The fitness center and other amenities were open and available for useTheir 1 bedroom suite was very spacious, and had everything you could possibly need to make your stay very comfortable The suite was equipped with a full kitchen, including a full size refrigerator and freezer with ice maker, full size microwave, dish washer and hand washing sink Cabinetry was stocked with utensils, cutlery, cook-ware and plates, cups and mugs Also included was a full size coffee maker, toaster, and various mixing bowls Garbage disposal was available as well as kitchen linens, soap , sponges, paper towels, salt and pepper shakersThe living area included a large built in desk that had a separate pull out desk for an additional guest Mounted on the wall was a 42” Smart TV TV had the option for online streaming, and the option to connect your own streaming device / laptop A pull out sofa was available with a queen size bedThe bathroom was also spacious, well lit and clean Shower had good water pressure, and included Paul Mitchell Shampoo, Conditioner and Body-wash Plenty of towels were providedThe bedroom itself had a very comfortable bed Linens and pillows were clean and comfortable AC system worked wonderfully The closets provided are part of a collaboration between Marriott and Elfa, and allow for you to easily organize your belongingsThe only downside is the breakfast It appears Marriott is making changes to breakfast at its select brands ( Towneplace Suites, Fairfield Inn& Suites, Springhill Suites, Residence Inn), and unfortunately it’s not the best If breakfast is important, I highly recommend taking advantage of the full kitchen in your suite Bring a few groceries and cook in your roomOverall, I would highly recommend this location, one of the best experiences at a Towneplace suites Staff was also very welcoming and accommodating

I stayed at this hotel for a work trip and it was a wonderful stay My room was very tidy and clean prior to my arrival I appreciate how my kitchenette came with lots of utensils and kitchenware that I could borrow, even though I brought my own! I appreciate how they provided Golden Corral for their guests on Monday and Thursdays

The front desk workers were nice as well!

We spent one Saturday night here They were accommodating of a pet There is a small grassy area and a walkway around the hotel which I used to walk the dog

It was well lit and cleanThe room itself was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the A/C worked wellWe would stay here again

Gabby Lara

I’ll be honest in saying, I was looking into booking the other hotel near this one, but it was booked However, not totally disappointed Entering, immediately there is a pleasant scent

Staff greeted let me and was very friendly Check-in was swift and easy Getting off the elevator, we headed to our room; hallway was musky and we could hear all sounds from surrounding rooms Unfortunately, even if this is a nonsmoking hotel, we passed a couple of rooms where cigarette smoke was strong Our room, was spacious, clean, and comfortable Wish the window covers were able to blackout the room more, as our east facing room was very bright in the morning Nevertheless, it was a pleasant place Can’t complain; especially with the staff

The service from the front desk staff and restaurant staff is absolutely incredible Among the friendliest hotel staff I have interacted with in the USA The grounds are maintained well and located in a pretty quiet area with many cafes and restaurants within walking distance if you don’t have a car

My only issue, and it’s a very small one at that, is the air conditioning unit in the room is pretty loud I personally have no problem being able to sleep with it going but I could see how this would not be ideal for a light sleeper Overall it’s a great property!

Jacquie Kraus

Room was impeccably clean and the bed was comfortable The service at the front desk was beyond any expectations I can’t really tell you if they gave me a free ice cream bar or not because I’m pretty sure that is not their usual style And the location was super quiet

It was just a couple of miles I mean like 2 to 3 miles farther out than I wanted to be but when I decided to extend my stay after checking out I opted to return to this very same facility essentially for the quiet laid-back atmosphere, great service at the front desk and such a wonderful room for sleep and cleaning up!

Every bit of my stay here from making the reservation to checking out and everything in between (helpful front desk, quiet well-designed room, soft mattresses, nice pool, delicious and varied breakfast options, we’ll-stocked shower, business center with free printing, good Wi-Fi) was phenomenal We will definitely be back It is walking distance from two restaurants, has a little “store” with food in the lobby, and no road noise inside (impressive since it’s so close to I-10)

It can be hard finding a hotel that can accommodate families with three kids, but SpringHill Suites hit the mark

Kenzie S

We stayed here a few times before and really enjoyed this hotel Unfortunately this time around that wasn’t the case I’m not sure if we just had bad luck with everything however a few things in our room seemed to be broken and there was no trash bags for the trash cans and there was stains on some of the sheets

I called down numerous times to the front desk and no one answered, so I planned to go downstairs to the front desk myself When I got to the elevators one was closed but everytime I clicked the button only the one that was closed kept opening so I was unable to even use the elevator I had to walk down 4 flights of stairs with my baby in my arms When I got to the front desk there was no one there and I had to wait a few minutes The girl working wasn’t wearing a nametag so I didn’t even see her name, but I started letting her know what we needed and she answered the ringing phone right infront of me (which had been ringing since I got there) and was on the phone for about 5 minutes without finishing up with me first Finally went back to the elevators to see that the one that was “closed” was open so I went up to my floor in it only to see when it opened there was a door in my face Super unprofessional and quite upset with how much we paid considering the bad service Probably won’t come here again

Stayed here for 3 nights for a little El Paso getaway The lobby and the rooms are gorgeous and the rooftop bar was really beautiful Housekeeping missed us one day and we had to ask someone to collect our trash and room service tray/plates and bring us new towels

Front desk didn’t apologize and just sent someone up with a single towel Thankfully the person bringing the towel was understanding and took away everything and brought new towels Room service breakfast was just okay, I wouldn’t order it again Rooms were a bit bright during the night, the curtains didn’t close all the way Overall is was a fun historic hotel experience but I would stay elsewhere during my next visit

In God’s Image Photography & Makeup Artistry

Check in was swift and detailed with a smile and guided walk to the elevator Although our room needed a little attention, the helpful staff was quick to assist leaving a clean & beautifully decorated room spiffy and wonderfully scented like a light winter land I received a sincere hand written note that made my day from David

Daniel made ordering breakfast smooth when our room phone did not work & was happy to help us My hubby and I were delighted by Cassie from room service that went above & beyond to ask about our stay and the French toast & roasted potatoes were delicious!! The bed slept comfy with convenient blackout curtains for great nights of sleep Overall we loved our stay and look forward to visiting again!!

This place is stunning! Every part of it is beautiful Whoever designed it gets 5 starts Carlos at the bar killed it! Best service we had all night

I’m only giving it 3 stars because we must’ve called 10 times to order room service in the morning and nobody answered Ever! It really sucked because there wasn’t even water bottles in the room Anyway, place was perfect, bed was comfy, carlos was great, room service nonexistent

Honestly the best thing about this hotel is the staff Everyone here was amazing Every person I interacted with, from the valet to the front desk and housekeepers were great

The standout employee was easily Swindle with the valet He was amazing, remembered my name and always opened my wife’s door and tried to get to mine to open it as well This guy is a champ who deserves a promotion and a raise Thank you to the staff for a great stay!

Hugo Sapien

A clean room and courteous employees is a very basic expectation Your valet parking attendants are outstanding, probably the result of their compensation scheme, front desk employees welcoming Covid19 guidelines have changed, yet housekeeping is still by request

Somehow, I should’ve been made aware of that That is ALOFT policy At this point, it seems to be for the sake of savings rather than guest/employee safety I will consider all other alternatives before returning It takes more than hip decor You need to cover the basics

Victor F.

Room (701) was comfortable and offered good views Everything seemed clean except for a pair of dirty socks found under bench in room Service from all associates was excellent – especially from the guest services attendants and bartender

Unable to call down to front desk but in-person service was still excellent Fire detection services were down during my stay which was concerning Location walkable to great food and drink options

The room was basic, bathroom needs some TLC The indoor / outdoor pool is nice and works well no matter the weather We like to stay at the hotel before traveling out of the El paso airport 1 bummer I wanted to leave my car parked for a few days and was told no So close to the airport, they should offer parking, if you stay

I gave it a 4 star because I only stayed for the night so I can’t really judge the service and or other amenities because I didn’t use them From the night that I was there, the room was great The upgraded me to a Junior suite which was nice

Not to mention your located in downtown El Paso so your close to alot of things which is cool Parking is $15

We stayed one night at Holiday Inn North El Paso 7/29… I thought this was a new hotel, but the bathroom alone looked like it had seen 10 years of abuse The second we walked into our room, we were hit with a very unpleasant smell that was either coming from somewhere in the foyer or the bathroom — we never did solve that mystery; I simply tried my best to cover it up with the little bottle of room spray I’d brought with us The bathroom itself had unsightly patches all over the walls, the floor was very dirty, there were huge I scuffs on the sides of the tub and red mildew and peeling sealant all over the shower

The sink faucet was not even fully attached to the sink While the bathroom was the worst, there were odd patches all over the rest of the hotel room as well It’s never a good feeling when you get out of a shower and feel dirtier than when you got in… We arrived very late at night and have small kids, so inquiring about another room was not an option We’d hit some rain on our trip and our roof luggage had leaked, so I went down to use their coin dryer to dry some of our clothes, only to find a note indicating that it was broken Why was there only one dryer in a new hotel, and how was it already broken??? Breakfast did not redeem our impression of our stay, as it involved a broken pancake machine AND broken toasters (How?!) in addition to other mediocre food options The one positive was that the bed pillows were quite comfortable at least, but that isn’t enough to make me ever consider staying here again

Everything about my stay was excellent! The whole front desk team was amazing and David had some great recommendations for food nearby! Jacky was very accommodating and even upgraded my room The cherry on top was when the lovely Manager Melissa checked me out and she was very sweet and I loved her little southern peach accent Thanks for making this stay a memorable stay in your beautiful facility!! David, Jacky and Melissa you all need a raise!!

This Hotel was incredible My room was cool, clean and the bed was so comfortable They had: a white 🕊️ Dove mini hand soap, Dove hair shampoo and Dove hair conditioner and Dove bodywash, microwave, iron and board, desk, lamp, office chair and soft chair, Keurig coffee and tea with samples for use

The morning continental breakfast was a variety of simple breakfast items, milk, scrambled eggs, mini omelette, turkey sausage and pork bacon, a decent variety of bread, pastries, muffins, bagel, hot oatmeal, 3 types of cold cereal, pancake maker, 3 types of juiceAnd let’s not forget the hot coffee and hot water for tea They offered hazelnut, french vanilla, and regular creamerThe only downfall was my room refrigerator froze my left overs

I didn’t pick this hotel To me it is not a good place to stay if most of your business is on Fort Bliss or one of it’s northern training areas up hwy 54 in New Mexico The room was great and cool

I kept my room at 65 degrees which was great coming back from the hot desert environment we were training people in Some staff were super friendly I don’t know who is responsible for the coffee station at night but they were terrible at keeping hot coffee, creamer and often times cups stocked I didn’t care for their little creamers either Had a strange taste to me Many times if there was coffee I had to take it back to my room to nuke it Don’t get me wrong it’s a decent hotel but some staffers don’t keep up with their duties I guess

Wow! What an awesome surprise to check in at the front desk and learn that I am the “guest of the day” I’ve never experienced this at a hotel before and it really made my day after 8 hours on the road! This clever little program they’ve established came with a upgraded room free of charge, and also free snacks and drinks from their little shop What a fun way to start our stay! Beyond that, this easily ranked one of the best IHG establishments we’ve stayed at

Everything was so clean, comfy, and peaceful! Most importantly, the gentleman working the front desk, Francisco, was super friendly, knowledgable, and hospitable Being “guest of the day” was awesome but its people like Francisco that make the Holiday Inn Express a name that we will keep trusting Definitely give this hotel a shot when you’re in El Paso They are doing some really considerate things for guests here and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay! We’ll definitely be back! Thank you

The staff at this Holiday Inn were the best I have ever seen!! Shout out to Francisco, Manny, Freddy, Andres, Becky, Jessica and I know that I am probably missing a couple others The rooms were great and the beds were super comfy!! The staff was so much help when we were looking for a place to eat and local attractions Hope to make it back down there soon!!

Very nice room! Pool was warm Hot tub jets were powerful Good location

Secure Best breakfast all week! Great amenities and perfect night’s sleep As other reviews mention, other guests can occasionally be heard but we use a fan at night so we slept very well!! A bit on the higher price side at $153 (book online for savings of about $25) but you truly get what you pay for here

I was disappointed with the pool which is the only reason we booked this hotel at 200 bucks we could of paid way less but we liked that it had and indoor pool, the pool water was green and the smell of chlorine was so intense my eyes hurt as soon as we got to the pool area, there was also no towels at the towel station Just hate we wasted so much money when we could of gotten a different hotel Holiday inn express is where we always stay anywhere we go, but clearly the pool is not their best feature

Awful no stars This place claimed that the doors were locked at a certain time – they weren’t we walked right inThey have a sign up saying 24hour snack store but when we got into the lobby no one was thereWe waited around for 15 minutes at 1:30am in the hot lobby and no one came to help us until my fiancée pounded loudly on the table and finally some guy came out claiming he didn’t hear us or the phone (we tried calling)We went across the street to Hampton inn much better service
