After staying in many many hotels this one has got to be at the top of my favorite Grandly unique and ornate I enjoyed walking around and seeing the history and art of the place

The room was comfortable and fashionable The pool was absolutely my favorite part and I went first thing in the morning so I was lucky enough to have it all to myself The only quorum I have is with the front desk staff A little bit of an attitude and when I asked for assistance it took a little due to the conversation the two ladies were having Overall though, highly highly recommend

Nil Chalfant

The rooms are a great size and very spacious I didn’t realize when I booked that it was an extremely popular wedding spot There was an private event every evening during the week, which I am sure is perfect for those attending

Not so great for everyone else The overall quality of the extras (soaps, breakfast, refreshments) is below average, imo They do have a dated, but cozy elegance and I enjoyed the fun pineapple them throughout the hotel

Christian DeVaul

Easily the worst “5-star” hotel experience I’ve ever had The TV didn’t work at all, breakfast was just cold hard-boiled eggs, and I’ve had a more luxurious room at a Holiday Inn I highly recommend staying at the Hyatt instead, weddings are great here I’m sure, but everything else is disgraceful! The “2 restaurants” are really only one restaurant with a hybrid menu? Which makes absolutely no sense

But the staff seemed nice at least

I thoroughly enjoyed staying here I come into town often on business and I will now stay here when I do The room was clean and my bathroom was very well lit – which is very important to me

The staff was friendly and they offered hot breakfast items which was appreciated It was nice to have a sitting area separate from the bedroom so I didn’t feel like I was in a hotel The mini kitchen was a nice amenity and included a full size fridge, microwave, sink, dishes and silverware It was quiet at night which was good The mattress wasn’t the best; it was okay They don’t have room service but I was easily able to get food through Uber Eats which was nice

Shaik Abdul Cader Shaik Dawood

Nice and cozy The staff are all super friendly and very hospitableLove the library (both for kids and adults) section which has board games, and puzzles as well

The gym has your basic needs met, and for covid safety measures, you’ll need to book a time slot in advanceBreakfast spread is decent It could be better though

Van

I only gave the location a 4 because it took us 45-50 minutes to get to NYC but that was expected The staff was amazing! We had a deadbolt and toilet issue within an hour that they immediately addressed They gave us a great list of restaurants & stores that were within 1-2 miles & no freeway (score!)

Parking at the hotel sucked b/c they were busy but it didn’t hinder my stay

Stayed 2 nights Jan 2022 Check-in was super quick but very welcoming Suite was spacious, clean, and had everything I needed to work, relax, and make simple meals

Felt like they take pride in keeping the property nice and making you comfortable but leaving you alone Breakfast was typical complimentary breakfast – edible but don’t look forward to it I would still stay again with no hesitation

Ben Morss

This place is definitely not bad! For a midrange chain hotel toward the bottom of the Marriott hierarchy, they do a good job Breakfast is quite respectable, and the rooms do have serviceable kitchenettes even if some things are hard to open (dishwasher, I’m talking to you) and mattresses and pillows are a little hardBut there’s also a nice courtyard, though the nearby pool is tiny and more chlorine than water

And you can wander around to the elegant if a little rundown events area next door, which does feature an amazing vintage piano and a super-nice guy named Pinchas

Milind Shah

Good accommodations Well run despite facing staffing shortages Pet friendly

Across the street from south mountain Reservation which is great for hikingThey serve breakfast but the kitchen isn’t open for any other meals But the kitchen in the room allows for cooking and there are nice eating establishments and terrific supermarkets nearby

Overall a great hotel, and definitely plan on staying here again if in the area Check in was easy, the room was great, and breakfast at the restaurant was really good and decently priced Couple weird quirks, no top sheet on the beds, no wash clothes, and didn’t seem a waiter knew I was sitting outside, but that’s probably just due to new staff/lack of staff everyone is experiencing right now

Would recommend this place and would stay again, think the money we paid for the stay was perfect

S Bess

Rooms are small but clean Personnel are friendly and helpful (with one notable exception) At check in, we asked about available upgrades and were told that we were receiving a complimentary upgrade

The man then gave us a room that, we found out later, was not supposed to be available for guests due to major maintenance issues and was NOT an upgrade even if the door and the sink worked properly It was clear that he deliberately lied to us as we found out two days later, when we were told that we had to move rooms and we should never have been in that room because of the well documented issues and that room upgrades were not a thing at this hotel and we hadn’t received one (which was obvious as soon as we saw our room) Moving rooms unexpectedly made us late for an appointmentOther than the deliberate lie and deliberately putting us in a room with a security issue (door did not shut properly), the stay was a positive experience

Bret Williams

A very pleasant enough remodel The linens and general vibe was nice However, a couple of peeves: the desk chairs are not on wheels

Makes it very difficult to move close enough to do work while easily getting up Second, the lighting in the bathroom is way too dimAlso, the wallpaper in my room was peeling at the jointsGreat location and friendly staff Needs some work, though to make it a 4 or 5 star hotel

The rooms were incredible I stayed over for a bodybuilding competition near the hotel The room was a spacious, modern suite with full kitchen—refrigerator, microwave, mini–stove, and dishwasher

This was very convenient since I brought meals for the bodybuilding show The front desk staff was especially helpful and accommodating Definitely will stay here again One of the best hotels I’ve experienced

Michael Dias

Nice hotel Made reservations through Reservationscom for a Homewood Suites room with a Manhattan view

When checking in, I was told the room description did not match the listing on Reservationscom Despite room availability, I was given a non-view room on the Hampton Inn side of the hotel I feel this dispute between Reservationscom and Hilton should not result in a room downgrade for a prepaid visit I certainly won’t be using a third party to book in the future I’m undecided about staying here again

Joseph Park

We were not assigned our room until an hour after check in time (3:00) It was only after I asked to speak with the manager was anything actually done about it Please do not take on the capacity if you are not able to handle it

If anything, at least notify guests that rooms will not be ready by the expected time period This was a very special weekend for many people visiting Teaneck and for me, it happened to be tainted by the hotel staff’s inability to accommodate and communicate clearly

First impression is a good one Clean, bit of an odd layout for a hotel , but very friendly staff We booked on line very easily

We stayed two nights Had breakfast one morning There’s a buffet on Sunday morning for $16 a person However we decided to order fresh off the breakfast menu & were very pleased They did a great job with my special order of an egg white mushroom & cheese omelette cooked well Delicious!Only two disappointments: one was the pool being in disrepair That was one of the reasons we booked there I hope it’s repaired soonThe other was my husband had called the front desk with a question and no one answered the phoneBottom line, I really did like the modern interior design It’s a less expensive, good , clean , quiet place to sleep if you’re traveling in the area or going in and out of NYC

S Prosper

I liked it there Very easy to find off the highway The receptionist was efficient and helpful

I got to my room and it was clean and what I expected I didn’t hear any noise while sleeping, everything worked Even the cleaning staff was helpful I overall enjoyed my stay there I even asked for the receptionist to print my covid test for me and she was happy to help Will be back

Abigail Prichett

I had mixed feelings about this hotel There were strange sticky spots on the floor (I do not want to ponder what they could have been) The room was nice, newly renovated

You could tell they definitely cut corners and some things were barely hanging onto the walls The location wasn’t great, I mean it’s conveniently located off route 17 but I didn’t really feel safe going to and from my car At one point during our stay, there were a bunch of cop cars pulled up in front of the building Everything just felt a little sketchy But definitely not the worst hotel I’ve stayed in

Erin was fantastic to work with! She answered every phone call we made We had a huge wedding and needed a lot of rooms We also needed a hair and makeup room and a room for brunch the next day

Our friends and family can’t stop talking about how elegant the Archer was Our wedding used the pool, the bar area, and it was centrally located to everything The shuttles picked up our guests timely for our wedding at the Crystal Plaza only a short 10 minute drive away The Archer even gave us a wedding gift which we will treasure in our new home we just bought If you’re looking to be treated like royalty, book the Archer and ask for Erin!-Rachel and Adam Marcus

Madeleine Brown

We really enjoyed our one night stay for a wedding Front desk staff was pleasant and efficient and were able to check us in early The hotel has a great esthetic and the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with lots of nice touches like books at the bedside and complimentary salted caramels and water

Would recommend and would stay again

Violet Kitsune

We booked this hotel to attend a wedding Overall the place was pleasant and comfortable, and everything was clean The only complaint is that the staff were a bit lacking in hospitality; we were presented with a check for breakfast as soon as we sat down, and I requested an item only for it to be brought up hours later

Other than the minor complaints, we enjoyed our stay

The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because it was not the worst place I have stayed Room was somewhat clean and decent enough to spend the night However the front desk needs help

We were greeted with “she will help you ” with in seconds a group of teen girls jumped in front of us and the other employee took us hesitantly She lacked any hospitality training When I asked if there was room service I was bluntly told “no” without additional information regarding the hotel, the restaurant or the bar on-site As we entered the room, we immediately went to set up the pull out couch for our 10 year old son Unfortunately there weren’t any sheets or blankets available I called the front desk and was told no problem, someone will be up shortly No one showed up so my son slept with us We also didn’t have any bottled water! There were clear signs posted of quiet time at 10pm yet they allowed a bunch of preteen girls cause a ton of noise until almost midnight After a terrible night sleep, we go to check out The front desk clerk greeted us, put us to the side and checked in someone behind us and gave her 2 bottles of water When she finally helped us, I was told you have a zero balance & have a nice day I was not asked if I enjoyed our stay nor about the breakfast Not even asked if I wanted a copy of the receipt! Looks like I will have to find another place to stay when visiting my family Total disappointment

Sharon Maccagnano

It’s clean and quiet They do not have USB ports for charging your phone The TV is situated on the right side of the room which is a painful angle for your neck

Seems like they tried to cram too much into the room They could have taken out the couch, the room is a bit small for it, and set up the dresser and TV in that area This way you’re not straining your neck to watch TV The refrigerator is also next to the couch, like an end table It’s a very odd place for it Every single hotel I’ve been at over the last year includes water bottles, especially for the coffee machine, they do not There is a broken window in one of the hallways too Check in was pretty easy They have a restaurant but I haven’t seen it open yet since I’ve been here They serve breakfast, I think that’s separate from the restaurant, but seems a little pricey to me considering it’s not cheap to stay here It’s not close to really anything It’s not a bad place but I’d expect a few more amenities for the price that cheaper places offer It has some pretty scenery

Annette DiMuro

25 – 3 stars I had rented 3 rooms for my family We did not use the pool or gym so I cannot comment on those areas

The grounds and location are beautiful The customer service appeared to be short and borderline rudenot the usual customer service you would expect from hospitality industry even from a 3 star hotel which this one is rated The rooms were nicely decorated but not the cleanest The shower doors still had soap drips and water spots all the corners need to be cleaned The vents were filled with dust The beds were lumpy No complimentary water, coffee/tea or breakfast and free standard breakfast ONLY for Titanium Marriott members No access to computers unless you swipe a credit card

The evening bartender was a solid 5 – kind, friendly, efficient and attentiveThe front desk worker was disappointing because of some billing errors and because he would not split incidentals off of a company card and put them on my card Despite several requests he refused and told me it was not possible

After checking out, I called back and was able to do it over the phone with him FrustratingAlso, lighting in the rooms was poor and unlike the photos presentedReally good food too In fact, everyone in the restaurant was fantastic

Chris “BostonGreekGeek” Vaxevanis

It looks like your typical Marriot, clean rooms, large entrance hall, bar, lounge ample parkingMy issue is that this place has no electric vehicle chargers which I feel is a must for any new construction This hotel was built in 2018 and they put no electric vehicle chargers? How is the world meant to transition to electric vehicles, when new hotels don’t care enough to include doors with that included? Also for a new construction I was surprised at how paper thin the walls were at I could hear other rooms every night

Not the same ones so you could day I just had lots neighbors Different people at different timesFinally I have pictures of how the outlets next to the night stands just come straight up They aren’t fixed in the stands or anything That is poor workman shipOverall it is clean and looks good, so if those details don’t bother you, your stay will be great However I can’t give a higher rating to a place that isn’t trying better

Jim Anderschat

Two forms of GPS may be necessary in finding this property! Why on Earth would they build a hotel buried behind office complexes, I don’t know But, if you find it, a decent hotel! Like all Courtyards, no included breakfast, everything comes at a priceThe room was nice, but my problem with this hotel is the location

If you want to go out to eat, you will need a car as this place is the last stop on the tracks, surrounded by offices and highways No good walking available Doubt we would stay here again Good if you work in the nearby offices

I was recently in a wedding that took place in this venue Great food, beautiful place and the wedding planner was absolutely wonderfulHowever…

I went into the room for the ceremony to check the decorations and I heard a LOUD leak and I see a bucket and a huge hole in the ceiling So I’m asking is any body going to fix that what’s going on? The worker that was there was like well there’s nothing we can do because the venue is booked Excuse me…the bride and groom paid to have a beautiful experience The wedding planner came to the rescue and told me not to listen to her because she didn’t know the schedule She then disappeared and left the DJ completely lost looking for where to set up I had to guide himI was so upset because it was not okay The groom then heard her talking about me and he had to address that as well Like do your job!

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking your room They compare thousands of booking websites and typically will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This place is one of the most well known in the area

I have been staying here for a very long time If you stay for a few nights you will love it I’m sure! This review is about the LOFT Wilshire Grand The event space was just the perfect location Felt intimate but safe during COVID The venue was clean very clean and inviting The staff were extremely pleasant

Jessica Ames

Pretty awful…we paid for a suite for my brothers wedding (held at a different venue thank goodness) The shower didn’t work correctly We notified the front desk (had to do it in person since the phone in the room was also broken) and they said they would fix it

We had issues with it for the two nights we were there We struggled to get it on each time and we could never turn it off so we let it run Half the outlets didn’t work Majorly outdated rooms For the amount I was charged this was a MAJOR disappointment Would never stay here againI will say the staff was very friendly Only pro I can think of with the awful room

I recently got married and had our hotel block booked at this hotel, along with my rehearsal dinner The hotel is beautiful, especially for the price The shuttle service to my venue was included for guests and went off without a hitch, plus it was convenient for everyone

The rehearsal dinner was outstanding, and the booking process the entire time couldn’t have been easier with all involved Maria especially was quick to respond, very helpful and patient I highly recommend for anyone looking to book their room block here!

Christina Holmes

My company recently hosted an executive meeting in the beautiful Essex Room for 25 people The space was perfect, set up exactly as I had requested (including all my last minute additions), food was SPECTACULAR and the service was INCREDIBLE! Maria, our Event Specialist saw to every detail and made sure I did not have to worry about anything The entire event, space, service, staff, courtesy

everything was far above and beyond what I expected from a typical ‘Best Western’ Maria and her team truly elevate the brand to a luxury experience I can’t wait to book my next meeting with her Thank you!!!

Luann Senisi

We booked this for my son’s wedding and I am extremely pleased that we did! Maria was unbelievable and guided us every step of the way! We had a little dinner the night before and the food was outstanding Jodi was wonderful and the staff so accommodating Our guests were very impressed and the shuttles were all arranged for trips to and from our venue as well as for bringing the bridal party when needed

The bridal suite for my daughter-in-law and son was to perfection They were thrilled The next morning the complimentary breakfast in our private room helped us to continue our celebration We even closed down the bar both nights we were there This is a perfect hotel to stay if you are having a wedding at Nanina’s In The Park or anywhere in the vicinity Maria, Jodi, and everyone that was so sweet and accommodating, thank you for making this beautiful occasion just special for us! I would recommend this hotel for any type of festivity and I am already thinking how we can come back again! Thank you!

As a Hilton fan, we are a bit disappointed The check in was very smooth, staff was very friendly and helpful Room was very comfortable, great view, but be awarded pictures can be misleading

outdoor pool is not as fancy and big as we expected, a lot of people using it daily( at least when we were there), patio is part of the restaurant for outdoor dinning, cant just go in there and enjoy the seating parking is not free, will cost you 18 dollar per night no microwave at all in the room or lobby Breakfast was not impressive Staff were nice, but really short staffed do your calculation before booking

Richard Krasney

Samantha help us book our wedding block rooms and sent up complementary champagne with my wife’s name on the label, as well as chocolate covered strawberries She was so great to work with and the hotel couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful They even helped us when her ride to the wedding didn’t show up and she was dressed in her wedding dress waiting to go to the ceremony

The hotel stepped up with their Hilton Honors Cadillac and got her there in time for the ceremony Thank you for making our stay so special and memorable

Nate B

Ok this hotel is very very nice in regards to the rooms Recently renovated however they charge 18$ a night for parking AND make sure you double check the bill! They might double charge you If you’re Hilton honors the 15$ meal credit is essentially worthless for breakfast

Coffee is 7$ and They charge 20$ on average for their meals which are merger at best! I would skip this Hilton location and go to their Home 2 down the road with free99 breakfast AND free parking

I honestly can’t believe it has such good reviews The carpet was pretty gross throughout and coming up in areas Our room was filthy, walls are dirty, the light above the table was covered in gunk, carpet completely stained

My daughter ruined her socks on carpet nails sticking up from the kitchen area to the living/bedroom space The tub was also stained/dirty Breakfast was pretty mediocre No pool for an indefinite time I gave two stars instead of 1 because the staff was all great that we got to see The room sizes are pretty good too But for just shy of $200 I expected better

The young lady at the front desk during our stay for the night (4/16 arrived at 3pm) was very nice and helpful We spilled some of our food on the main floor, came down to Apologize, my husband was ready to clean the mess, but the area was already cleaned up as if nothing happened Her and the rest of the staff was very pleasant and helpful

This hotel allows pets, and though we didn’t have one, unfortunately our room smelled strongly of dog urine Aside from that, the rooms were clean, in decent condition and noise was minimal The pool was out of service, the little store near the office was always closed, and the free breakfast is not very good

It’s not a bad place, we would stay here again and just alter our expectations

Went to a dance competition held in the hotel Plenty of parking Spacious dressing rooms

Decent bathrooms The hotel staff were wonderfully accommodating to all the people who were there for the competition – they kept the bathrooms and general area clean If you come for the whole day, pack lots of snacks and a lunch There’s only a Starbucks in the hotel – nothing else

The pool is not included! Such price hotel and no pool! Went to the spa and front desk told us we couldn’t use the pool! I asked before I stay because my daughter wanted to use and we booked an extra day so she could enjoy it and boom, no pool! There are plenty of nicer hotels around with pool, breakfast included and room service that this one does not offer! Considering that We pay almost 600 dollars for 2 nights

This place is expensive af! I am moving my son from Ohio to here and this is where I decided to stay while he made his transition This will be my go-to spot while I’m here It is money well spent

The customer service is spectacular! This place has a restaurant and bar with good food! Book with breakfast included, it only adds a few bucks versus $22 if you decide to pay separately The breakfast was so good with a variety to eat Don’t book if you’re on a diet The rooms were clean, beds comfy Showers were hot I had a beautiful view That’s why my room was expensive I got so spoiled by this place So, yeahI’ll be back this summer with the kids visiting my son and this is where I’ll be staying! 😊

Clean space, clean room and clean bathroom Didn’t use the kitchenetteUber had no trouble finding the place

Breakfast was simple but enough choices with multi egg optionsRoom door was sticking and had to pull hard to shutThe only issue I had was the lack of drinking water options Except for a cooler in the gym, nothing else A couple of bottles water per room per day adds up to less than 50 cents but can make a guest feel a lot more welcomeStill deserving of the 5 stars

I was shocked when I entered the hotel room on how beautiful it was…room was spacious and tv was big enough made me feel like I was on in my own private room There’s a shared door in the room with a guest that may or may not be next door The bathroom was very nice the shower could have been a lot harder with the water coming down & the door the door was kinda weird it was hard opening it back once you closed it, pretty much gotta have a nice grip for that door

& FYI don’t go past there coffee machine! I say everyone must try it! I’m not really a early bird so I missed breakfast at the hotel but there coffee is always there at the front of the hotel where it stay nice and warm I recommend trying it before you head out and start your day 🙂

Absolutely the best place I have stayed in a long time The staff is friendly and attentive The beds are extremely comfortable

The rooms are decorated beautifully and extremely cleanTravelling with small children is never an easy task but this place made it enjoyable From the pool, to the continental breakfast, to the overall accommodations, I would highly recommend and return to this location I also had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with Joe Novak As a franchisee owner, you can see his vision and passion in this location (and I’m certain it is reflective in the others as well) Making people feel like they are home has truly been accomplishedThank you to Gio (the General Manager) and his staff for running such a great hotel!

I was skeptical to stay after reading a few reviews, but I am glad I didn’t listenfirst they lets us in the room early, the room and bathroom clean, beds were comfy

Hallways and main floor were clean and smelled nice We ate at the pub and Pablo the bartender/ waiter was great We shared all our food and he made separate soup bowls, salad and our entree’s Also we bought wine from snack area and was able to drink our wine with dinner, that was very nice of Pablo We saved on drinks which reflected on his nice tipThe pool was nice and what a great gym, unfortunately I didn’t partake but my husband did He was like a kid in a candy shop I would recommend this place I hope to stay here soon

It’s pretty good! Our hotel room was perfect I wish that the bathroom was in a different location or just street it was weird how it was positioned like the toilet but I guess there’s nothing I could do about that also a weird thing was that there was a beam in my shower just kind of on the side I found that slightly strangeI want to give it a three out of five but I’m giving it four because The employees here really are so funny and sweet very nice and also I loved how the police was just minutes away from the venue at the Venetian We had breakfast on our thing but we didn’t end up using it and we didn’t use the pool either but I heard it was pretty nice from the other guests

Mark Simmelkjaer

Positives: Nice location, good staff, reasonable price pointNegatives: LOUD – thin walls make sounds permeate throughout the entire building

Given this hotel is a frequent wedding venue the clientele can be loud in hallways AC units take a while to cool rooms leaving a very stuffy feeling
