Very kid friendly! I stayed here with my 1 year old on a family vacation She had a blast in the pools, on the splash pad, and sandy area The spa was also excellent with fabulous amenities! I hope to return some day

Shout out to the hostess in the restaurant (i didn’t catch her name) who found me some milk for my baby and saved me a trip to the grocery store with a fussy baby after a long travel day Thank you for going above & beyond!

Faith Rohani

The resort is amazing, it’s a golf and pool resort Service was great, there was a lot of communication within the resort of workers communicating the weather and what us as guests should and shouldn’t be doing The pools are pretty great, all around 3ft deep, they have a family pool which was pretty packed and there was a lazy river than went around the two slides they had

The hotel rooms were great as well The balconies were great too Food there was great as well!! The breakfast item, cinnamon roll, I would not get again It came out really hard and not the best But other than that the rest of the food there was great All around great place for a fun and relaxing place to go without having to leave

We visited our son & his family They were staying here for a couple of daysWe visited them at the pool & lazy river area & were hosted in a pool side cabana

The area was crowded but clean & as orderly as it could be while entertaining youngstersThe pool staff were really on top of things & I was impressed with their attentiveness to the crowd & their safetyThe cabana, though pricey according to my son, was clean, well set up & equipped with a misting systemThe wait staff & servers at the pool/cabana were very cool, very accommodating & very politeI cannot comment on the room because we live locally & did not stay at the resort

The location is beautiful with a gorgeous garden to stroll through at pretty much any time of the day, but particularly nice after breakfast Speaking of breakfast, incredible eggs, benedict and coffee and a lovely mimosa or bloody Mary if you like Same restaurant for dinner was amazing with amazing service, wine, food selection and excellent atmosphere

The rooms were spotless quiet and very well appointed Service at the pool or room service was all exceptional and quick Highly recommend and will return

Our stay at Bernardus was nothing short of amazing! Me and my wife stayed for our honeymoon and had the most romantic experience The quality of service at Bernardus greatly exceeded our expectations! The restaurant manager greeted us, remembered our names, and remembered our favorite sparkling water The waitresses and hotel staff were all amazing and kind

We are sold on coming back each year to experience this amazing place!

Our family of 6 really enjoyed our stay at the Bahia Great location which is pretty much within a 15 minute drive from major San Diego It’s in a quiet area with a private beach on the bay and walking distance to the ocean

Resort has a nice heated pool and a very large hot tub We also enjoyed a free movie night while we were there The restaurant has a nice outdoor seating area which is a great spot to grab a drink at nightThe rooms were a bit dated but we didn’t come to San Diego to sit in our room The room we had accommodated all six of us which is not always easy to findOverall, for the price you pay, this is a great find in San Diego

Jim Darragh

It was a nice resort in its day But it’s no longer in a good neighborhood We saw people trying to steal surfboards from the resort

There isn’t a spa on the premises yet they do have a sister resort, the catamaran, that they’ll take you too for a spa treatment They do have a pool with a bar that’s open roughly 11am to 4pm The room was clean and the bed was comfortable The view over looking the bay is nice There are mini cabanas along the bay to enjoy the view and watch sail boats Additionally, the resort is with in walking distance to the beach and an amusement park

Chen Li (Lior)

I really enjoyed my stay at Bahia Even though it was just one night, the whole experience was amazing! Every staff member we talked to was so friendly and helpful, we felt very welcomed We got to stay at the bay view studio and the view was really beautiful

I also loved all the plants through out the resort, a very nice tropical feelingThe highlight for me was the newly opened restaurant dockside 1953 I had the stuffed French toast, it was SO good! Very soft and not overly sweet, the fruits and oats added a nice texture Dockside seating with beautiful view of the bay, and the heater worked so well, perfect for when I forgot to bring a jacket on a cold morning All the waitresses were so friendly and welcoming A breakfast there brightened my day!

The location is spectacular with many trails and beach access It’s simply a beautiful spot and the facilities are nestled in the middle of it all During our visit, there was a lot of maintenance going on with a lot of exterior structural and siding repairs

The maintenance didn’t bother us but it was very present with dozens of ladders and workers across the units The staff are friendly but we did have an issue with them forgetting to pick us up for a reservation we had set with them for an on-site service They simply forgot about us until we called them fifteen minutes after the pick up time they provided They corrected it promptly I definitely recommend the resort but perhaps at a time when they don’t have so much construction going on

Junior2k4

My friend’s and I visited here on vacation We brought our kids and they LOVED it The rooms were lovely, it overlooks the beach, and there are a few pools

Small washer and dryer in the unit, as well as a small but functional kitchen Beach towels and board games were providedThe resort restaurant seemed expensive for both the quality and quantity of the portions but the cocktails were good

Akhilesh Prasad

The rooms are large with 2 storey 2 bedroom, pull out couch in the living room and balconies in both the living and bedrooms with 2 and a half baths Room service is not daily, coffee and tea are in the kitchen top cupboards Older property with most balconies overlooking the ocean

Small swimming pool and a restaurant and bar Our organized lunches and bf seemed like catered in and very mediocre quality Ask for Dan by the bar There is a south point coffee shop close by in the village but closes at 1 pm

I stayed here for a weekend with my best friends and we had a great time! I contacted Veronica in Guest Relations and she and her team were truly amazing! She exceeded our expectations and left us with the best note upon our arrivalThe pool was great! It was hard to get service but walking over to the bar wasn’t too bad The food and drinks were good

Every staff we encountered were friendly and helpfulThe tequila drink at the restaurant in the main lobby was so good I’m thinking of making another trip there soon!Overall it was my 2nd visit to this hotel and I loved our stay once again!

Erica Ramos

It was Ok, definitely did not feel luxuriousOur check in was easy, room was somewhat clean We got the room with possibly the worst view and our balcony was covered with dust and debris

We couldn’t even put our wet clothes out there much less sit, we could literally hop over on to another roof I didn’t bother to ask for a change, my kids were tired and we just wanted to go to the pool Pool service was nice, we found seats quick although it was very full We did the boat ride, it was $5 a person for a 10 min ride, the person driving the boat didn’t really talk to us, he just confirmed they had black swans when my kid pointed it out It’s not worth itThe bed was comfy, tubs were nice I wouldn’t pay as much as I did to stay here again

Richard Fung

Quick SummaryMagnificent amenities (pool, arcade, gym, golf, views) However, pretty mediocre roomsRoom- 2 starsThe check-in was a mess, but expected as it was the first weekend of Coachella We got unlucky on our first room where we found mascara on the bedsheets and gum on the bathroom floor

Unfortunately, we couldn’t get moved for the night as they said the hotel was fully booked and housekeeping was basically gone for the nightAmenities- 5 starsThe property is magnificent The main building was grand and even had a boat in the lobby that serves as a taxi throughout the waterways of the property The gym was quite large for a resort There was an 18 hole putting course and also a well landscaped golf course on the property In addition, there were 3 pools and a large arcade with a mini bowling alley You really cannot be bored here Excellent stay for families, groups, couples, anyoneBottom LineThe views and amenities are spectacular and warrant the 4-stars given to the JW Marriott However, the rooms failed to meet expectations

We had a wonderful time here Nice vacation spot with kids It wasn’t super busy too when we went

All staff were kind, professional and always smiledThe hike trail was one of my favorites, beautiful scenic view at sunset If you can’t hike it, you can access it via parking lotEvery part of the resort was beautiful for pictures I’d recommend to bring your camera !The bistro had delicious buffet options They had fresh juices and plenty of healthy optionsThe beach was okay I wish there was beach lounge chairs, umbrellas etc There was a dead seal and lots of flies It could be maintained better ( I’m guessing it’s not a private beach) The beaches on shoreline are better maintained and better for kids if that’s something you are looking forRegarding rooms, I knocked off one star cause we had pigeon poop all over the balcony And the toilet didn’t flush properlyOverall, I wouldn’t pay $1000 a night again This was my first time staying here but honestly you are paying for the name I’ve been to other 5 star hotels but this location wasn’t worth $1000 a night

C Bee

WOW The beach location of this Ritz Carlton is one of the nicest in the entire California for sure I have stayed at all of the Ritz Carlton Resorts in CA and I can say this beach location is one of a kind

It is truly gorgeous especially during sunset The sunset view itself is worth the $1500/night The room is also spacious comparing to the other locations More of a Spanish style which I miss I owned few properties in Barcelona and Madrid and visiting here last week reminded me back in Spain- We had a great time and we will be back when the weather gets warmer ;)As always, the ladies and gentlemen at the Ritz provided top-notch services

Shideh Bahmanyar

It’s a beautiful and vast resort with great views The food we had for the event we were attending were great For dinner they did multiple tables and had an amazing poke table that was my favorite! I wish I had more time to do the walk to the beach but we were on a tight schedule

Enjoyed walking through the property for our scavenger hunt activity! Sure got our steps in!

1960’s Las Vegas time warp, with a dose of kitschy mixed in That being said this resort atmosphere is not for everyone, especially if you’re looking for a quiet romantic stay When we arrived, there were long lines in the lobby and I felt like I was at a convention

Turned out there were a couple of big events going on that day a memorial service at one end of the building and a loud reunion outside their huge swimming and lounges area We were told the events would end soon, but in reality the reunion party continued on through the night The best part of our stay was at the restaurant Delicious food and service was excellent Somehow it felt separate from all the craziness going on about us A huge pool surrounded by lounge chairs with maximum capacity people sitting on the chairs, as well as splashing in the pool After dinner I asked where the jacuzzi was, and a friendly staff managing towel service directed me past a large Alice in Wonderland gray chair with a flamingo painted on it Unfortunately, the jacuzzi too was at maximum capacity So we opted to head to our room There was no number on the door to our room, which was puzzling to say the least, and we ended up having to walk all the way around the resort to find our way in The room was spartan, like a monk’s cell, and a table but no chairs Bottom line is sadly, this resort was not worth the price we paid

Coco O

The room is not updated 100% They upgraded the bathroom, room partition, bedding linens The doors, wall, baseboard, and carpet were aged

The pool area is nice with 3ft-9th pool Kids enjoyed the pool a lot I waited forever for the server to take my order, but never came Other servers came by and told me a few times that my server will come She never did I ended up going to the bar and ordered coffee to go instead of having a full breakfast No pool towels between 9pm-10pm Pool closes at 10pm so I asked for some towels only to never come Walked back to my room soak and dripping ☹️ I don’t think I’ll be back

I stayed here for my wedding weekend and had the best time I booked a suite there for the weekend and they upgraded us to a bigger suite which had chilled champagne waiting for us when we walked in! The night before the wedding we invited friends over for drinks and snacks in the Living Room Bar and ended up taking over their gorgeous outside patio The service was a little slow which was understandable considering the quality of their cocktails and how many people were there

But the staff was awesome and the server somehow stayed organized with 15 different checks Everything from start to finish was great We’ll definitely be back!

Alisha McKay

The hotel was just nice For the price I would have though we would have had an ocean view but all we could see were dead ferns Whoever decided to make the ground level rooms blocked off with walls and dead plants made a terrible decision

In hindsight we should have paid for the extra costs to see the ocean I was surprised we didn’t even have water in our rooms, even the cheapest hotels leave a couple bottles of water There was water but it was $6 The food and drinks were very expensive but tasted good There is no room in the minibar for your own stuff, again most cheaper hotels at least have a refrigerator Coffee maker wouldn’t work because the outlet wouldn’t keep it plugged in There wasn’t much room in ten bathroom or hooks for toiletry bag It was on a nice location which is probably 1 of the biggest perks Not worth the money I would probably not spend the money to stay here again We could have been in a condo over the ocean in Hawaii for the amount of money spent here for 5 days

Ellen Decker

Had the most wonderful stay at L’Auberge! My boyfriend and I picked this spot for a little getaway from La Jolla and it was beyond amazing The valet was particularly exceptional and friendly This is the perfect spot if you’re looking for a relaxing stay that also feels homey

Highly recommend grabbing a coffee from their cafe and trying breakfast – 10/10!! Will be back

Beautiful rooms, excellent sauna/ steam room facility, amazing gym, wonderful gardens Food was absolutely incredible and room service was open late Staff was catering and exceptional overall

There was a wedding on the front lawn when I was there and I was able to peek at it from my room It was one of the nicest I’ve ever seen and was fortunate to see it All around great place

Kim Espinosa

Check-in was efficient, room was nice My gripe was that there was a party with lots of very drunk and loud people on my floor from 2:30 am until 4:30 am People were in the halls talking and laughing loudly for 2 hours

I called reception twice (3 am and 4 am) and they were definitely apologetic, but the noise didn’t stop We had an early flight and I mentioned at check-out at 5:30 am, but the check-out staff showed zero empathy They didn’t apologize but they did acknowledge the noise I know it’s not their fault, but I would think they should try a bit harder to ensure that guests can sleep ok Like perhaps have a no loud party policy after midnight?

While the rooms are simple and lack a bit of personality, they are furnished with everything that’s needed and a little more The grounds are beautiful, the pools are wonderful, the spa: peaceful and the staff: exceptional An excellent stay overall, the staff truly made the experience superior

From the moment we were greeted by the warm, welcoming and light-hearted valet to our much-appreciated late check-out, each member of the staff was generous, friendly, accommodating and first-class Liz, at the front desk, was exceptionally wonderful She found a way to go above and beyond each day of our visit and is an incredible asset to the resort We’ll happily be back

Second visit at this location Good service from Valet parking to receptionist Self parking is available for free but we prefer the valet

Room is nice but need more cleaning details Mini fridge can fit can waters and only small items Microwave is $20 per night upon request There were the stains on shower curtain and some former guests items were still in the bedroom Restaurants are quite decent with great meal

I have stayed in the Hyatt Regency in Indian Wells many times I just went recently after I haven’t been for a while and it is the best hotel I have ever stayed in It’s the only place I’ll ever stay in the Palm Springs area

First of all, this hotel is in a great location Close to Palm Springs and other surrounding popular cities This place is affordable, the rooms are pristine, and the outdoor area is fantastic! There are so many pools and it’s never crowded I also like how there’s basically a designated kids area where the water slides are The hotel restaurants serve great food Staff is very polite and helpful They are pet friendly also which is a great plus for people bringing along pets on their vacation Overall, this hotel is fantastic and I definitely recommend it!

This is a beautiful hotel in a great location We are locals The service and amenities are top notch

But only after you get through the front door Note to management, when I visit your hotel for dinner and spend over $700 dollars for 2 people, I don’t appreciate being gouged $50 for valet parking This is absolutely egregious <<< Maybe others are accepting of this Not me I didn't pay the fee The valet didn't touch my car, he insisted and wanted to drive it, but I wouldn't let him, Period! Two times I've let valet park a car for me and both times my vehicles didn't come back in the same condition Not only that, I don't want some stranger in my car touching everything after he's been in 20 other cars that same evening A little accommodation during COVID would go along way engendering some goodwill But there are plenty of reviews riddled with people's dissatisfaction with your outrageous parking fees I might understand if I was spending the night at your hotel, but we were there for dinner Be warned everything that the others have said about this hotel only being interested in extracting every single penny from you is true Charging a premium and being premium are two very different thingsNo apologies are needed, they are insincere and we all know it

Jeff Palmeter

Came here for a conference and it was a wonderful place to stay Spectacular views, large and well-appointed rooms, friendly & helpful staff, and, of course, amazing views Take time to enjoy a walk along the coast and warm up at one of the fire pits in the evening

The food is great here, too with lots of healthy options Every area has fresh flowers placed throughout the property

Brandon Jacobsen

Wow! What an amazing hotel and great amenities offered! Had the best experience for a party of 7, celebrating a friend/colleagues 40th birthday Tony, our server, went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the host and guided to our table (in the wine library)

We were able to grab a drink at the bar, watch the sunset, while listening to to someone playing bagpipes (no lie, this really happened – almost seemed like a movie scene with the fog, music and sun setting) Thank you to everyone who made this experience so memorable!

A few things about our experience First off this hotel is beautifully located on the beach and walking distance to the marina and restaurants Staff were friendly and helpful

However, upon our arrival most of the facility was under renovation My wish was that we would have been notified of this beforehand Reception was a little difficult to locate (understandable due to construction but more clear signage would have been helpful) I also feel beach towels should be offered (as is the case at other hotels I’ve stayed at) Once in our newly remodeled room the noise level was minimal to none The kitchenette housed a sink, refrigerator, and microwave along with a coffee maker Beach view from the room was fantastic with access to the spacious balcony from both the main room and bedroom We had easy access to the pool and beach Continental breakfast was yummy and consisted of French toast, potatoes, eggs, and/or omelet Complementary drinks (up to $12 per person per night) was a nice extra Pool and hottub were invigorating Overall I did enjoy my stay and the soothing sounds of the ocean When renovation is complete this will be a true treasure

Usually, I won’t review hotels but I think this one deserves it*Before booking: keep in mind there is a huge renovation going on This didn’t bother us one bit but it might not be a good idea for someone who can’t walk long distance

I’m not going to lie, at first it was a little confusing finding our way around FYI You check in at the restaurant so follow the “reception” signsRoom:I was worried because my husband booked us in a first floor room, thinking it would be convenient location to the ocean, however it didn’t have a view of anything! I quickly ran to the front desk to ask for a different room, with any view, just would like a balcony “No problem” she said and upgraded us to a partial ocean view 2 room suite, which also has easy access to the ocean but it was on second floor Done! The fridge didn’t work but we never said anything, as it didn’t affect us Beds were comfortable The room smelled brand new Furniture was new Overall nice, new and clean Oh, and two bathrooms!Restaurant: free breakfast with amazing food and coffee It filled us up all day so we didn’t have to go anywhere for lunch We shared the burger one night for dinner and it filled us both up All the servers were so nice I really appreciated that We also got a $24 credit for food or drinks each day, which was coolThe staff: EVERY single person that works there… from the front desk to the construction workers, were so nice and helpful They opened doors, asked if we needed help with anything, pointed us in the right direction, always with a smile on their faceParking: convenient and secureElevators: fit our bikes perfectlyProperty: quiet, white sandy beach front, steps from whatever room you’re in There is construction so you might have to step over stuff and it might be a little loud at times but the staff is so respectful! You can tell they go out of there way to make it not bad Plus we had ocean view so I barely noticed or cared The grounds were well kept and succulents everywhere!Bonus: there is a guest laundry room and bikes to use

The pool is always amazing and so is all of the service we get My family has come here every year for three years The beach is amazing and I have a grandchild who loves to run up and down all the sand downs on the south-east side of the hotel

We also love how there are pretty much patios in every room In summary, this hotel is amazing and is absolutely recommended to any one staying in the Oxnard area

We had the perfect stay Everywhere we walked was a photo op The bridge for the family wedding photo was on point

We were there for a wedding and it was 5 star stay Everyone went out of their way to see that we had anything we wanted The wedding location was beautiful It is historic and every detail is well appointed The reception was grand Great dinner, the desert table was second to none and the band was perfect They knew how to play while we ate then had the perfect song list for dancing NO rolling on the river or we are family cheesy tunes Sign of a great band Afterwards we had a beautiful spot to catch up before going to our room and sending up for a late night bite with room service Our room was classically beautiful a tad small but it is a really old hotel We’ll be back!

Stylish and refined in its lusciouness… well kept, well manicured with charming gardens, excellent service and services Spa was fab!And get this, the power went out in the area in the middle of my massage and they calmly and sweetly brought in candles to finish and comped me the massage And had backup power so we still had basics

Very nice experience that could have been uncomfortable otherwise

It was so beautiful The bathrooms were massive and gorgeous We had the Sunday buffet

The crab legs were divine The bacon was crispy They had waffles and a cheese bar We spent time by the pool It’s very chic The drinks were pretty standard for a 5 star You can see the beautiful views while soaking up the sun Sipping on margaritas in the pool They have gabanas you can rent Take me back to paradise We will be back The staff were super helpful

bryce lomonaco

This provides everything you expect from a high end resort Loved that there were separate adult and family pools Our pool cabana service was excellent

The only oddity was the location When I think Southern California resort, I think of the beach This is not by a beach but rather by a Swamp? Wetland if you want a euphemism? Would have preferred to get some sand between my toes

We stayed here during the second week of summer break but surprisingly it’s not crowded Such a beautiful resort Recently renovated

Spacious lawn with sights of wild rabbits for the kids to run around All the staff is very nice to us and to our kids Provided free bottled water in metal cans to support small business during check-in We stayed here with our 7yr old and 25 yr old to explore San Diego with plans to visit Legoland, Safari Zoo and Sesame Place Just 15 min drive from LegolandI didn’t expect this spa and golf resort to be very kids-friendly (except the two water slides) The biggest surprise and special call-out is during the first room service on day 2, the housekeeping team automatically provided us with a diaper pail and stepping stool! We used special dirty diaper trash bags and the wooden trash can upside down as the stool as our travel hacks when we stayed at hotels and resorts including the fancy ones This is the first time we got offered the two items It’s always the small touches that matter Thanks for making the life of two exhausted parents slightly easier!

They went above and beyond to make me feel so special on my birthday! The room views are gorgeous and peaceful We didn’t even leave the resort, we ended up going to the relaxation pool all day which has mediation calming music under water (the best part) and then to Amaya for dinner with a beautiful patio table and view of the sunset All of the staff we encountered were pleasant and welcoming

Looking forward to planning our next trip back!

Hey Siri what is an amazing stay worth every penny reviews are unmatchable we came and stayed for anniversary and I felt like we were worlds away from all of our every day stress at home which is just A mere five minutes from here Highly highly recommend this place the spa is fantastic as well the food at Addison’s was unbelievable The staff the service amazing

We loved having our nightcap and sitting in the lobby and playing backgammon and chess It’s nice to stay here when it’s nice and cool out because then you can enjoy the many fireplaces that the property offers indoor and outdoor You cannot stay here without going to Addison’s for their prefix meals

We had a wonderful 2 night stay here It is a beautiful hotel If you ever go here be sure to take time to take in the architecture of this place

Make sure to look around Take a moment to stand in the hallway and look up at the ceilings and then forward and how everything just lines up perfectly It’s really quite beautiful The food in the restaurants is very good and the servers are very efficient and kind My husband played a round of golf one day and he said the course was very good The golf carts are really nice with comfy, molded, leather seats! They have a lot to offer for you to do here They have an equestrian Center and it looks like a beautiful place to go for a trail ride They have archery, cornhole, and several pools, golf, and a very high-end spa If you want to go to the spa make sure you book early I tried to get in on a Saturday and they had been booked up for days So I was very disappointed I didn’t get to enjoy the spa And if you want to do the pool at least at the adults only pool, make sure you go out and stake your claim on some chairs earlyThis hotel is not cheap but neither is the service or the atmosphere We really enjoyed our stay here

We booked a weekend over Christmas weekend with the hope of spending a lot of time inside and order in-room dining to stay safe covid wisePros: Very dog friendly hotel with tons of green spaces for doggies to roam around and do their business We loved our room with its private fireplace

The room was clean and very comfortable Tons of movie choices and just an overall great TV app selection Great staff and serviceCons: The thing that disappointed us the most was the in-room dining food quality The taste was just awful Over the weekend we almost tried everything on the menu and literally everything was just barely eatable including the burger and chicken noodle soup! How do you mess up a burger or a chicken soup? The only item that was OK was the mac and cheese I really hope management reads this review and tries some of the food for themselves Given the in-room menu price points, your clients really deserve better than this

It was fun two nights, the kids had fun in the pool and we made new friends with other nice families with children The servers and the housekeeping staff were very polite and had great customer service skills For the price we paid, unfortunately it did not measure up! I booked the hotel for 4 adults they gave us a tiny room with one king bed once they saw we were two adults and two small children at check in

I had to go back and question that so they gave us a new room with two queen beds Just didn’t feel welcomed at that moment and we probably will not go back there just because for the amount of money paid it’s not worth it We went there to relax and it was very noisy ac compressor maybe? And in the morning 8 am drilling noises and construction sounds The property is really beautiful, with a nice view of the ocean and the coast line The beach is nice too they have sand toys for the kids to borrow and will set up chairs and umbrellas for you The food was delicious!

First visit at this Ritz-Carlton and it was an excellent stay We were upgraded to the Club level and our experience was superb The staff were helpful and offered suggestions on restaurants and local attractions

The food was great along with the drinks I would totally do Club level again at the Ritz! Loved the fact that the support staff was diverse and mingled with all of us

Don’t go to this hotel because it’s always full and super awesome and if you guys all go there I will never be able to have a spot It’s literally right on the beach catching the water it’s absolutely amazing but I say again do not book your because then they’ll not be any room for me to book there because anyone who knows anything about staying in a nice place obviously stay here

Clayton Cohn

My grandparents retired to La Jolla and were members here, so I grew up coming to LJBTC twice a year for 20+ years I never stayed at the hotel, however, until recently The beachfront location is impossible to beat, as are the activities, which include tennis, chip-and-putt golf, pickleball, ping pong, cornhole, and other games I am surely missing

The staff is nice, and the food is top notch as well They even have a falconer on the beach to scare off seagulls! (although I believe it’s a hawk not a falcon, but still!)That being said, there is one caveat The place is exactly as I remember it from when I was a kid, which is good for my nostalgia, but bad for the hotel The painting scheme is a bit tired and clearly needs updating More importantly, some key features are missing There are no elevators, for example, so anyone not on the first floor will have to use the stairs Be aware of this if stairs are an issue for you! Additionally, the rooms do not have readily available outlets (I had to pull the bed and headboard out to plug in my phone charger, for example)Overall, this place is great But it is expensive and missing some modern accoutrements that are staples at even the lowest-tiered hotels However, if your goal is to stay on the beach with ready access to great food and awesome games in an environment that is equally kid-friendly and relaxing, then this is the place to be Just make sure you bring an extension cord or surge protector so you only have to move the bed out once!Safe Travels,Clayton Cohn
