Beautiful resort! There is nowhere else on the island I would stay The hospitality is unmatched anywhere you go in the resort and housekeeping is stellar The spa is expansive with all the amenities you could ask for and the prenatal massage I received was top notch

The adult infinity pool was our go to hang out spot and is absolute paradise The beach area is pristine and wasn’t crowded the entire week we were there, and was far less busy than the Disney area We couldn’t have asked for a better stayWe planned our trip here for a baby-moon and we were greeted with congratulations, chocolate covered strawberries, sparkling water, and even a body pillow for me to get better sleepThank you for such a lovely stay, Four Seasons Oahu!

We absolutely loved our stay here We came during a busy time of the year — spring break, spending majority of our time at the adult pool (18+ yo) The thing I’ll remember most about our stay was how friendly the ENTIRE staff was from valet, to the front desk, to all the servers at the pools, even the folks at the spa and for the hotel activities

The poolside drinks and food exceeded my expectations I’m fact, we ate at Noe and Mina’s and would have rather ate by the pool instead We also did the stand up paddle board in the lagoon and the sail + scuba and just loved it — highly recommend the sail + scuba We overheard a family from the Disney resort say the four seasons was not a family friendly resort and I beg to differ Although we didn’t have kids with us, we saw a lot of other families with kids and they appeared to be having a wonderful timeOh, and if you get a massage, get the warrior massage and try to book with Bronson I had an incredible experience and would definitely see him again – his hands are magical

AN ISLAND ON AN ISLANDWe arrived on Friday and plan to leave on Monday We’ve stayed at Four Seasons on three of three islands, and this one was no different as far as delivery is concernedWe’ve had a wonderful time! From checking in and getting our leis, to asking the concierge to help us make dinner and massage reservations, everything has been easy, engaging, and inviting

We definitely feel pamperedWe also ate at Mina’s Fish House last night and plan on eating at Noe (Italian) this evening [my birthday] [[SUPERBOWL!!!]]There are many photograph moments, but the best part of the stay has been our room upgrades, which gave us an ocean view, and having Japanese breakfast on the balcony before sunrise (thank you room service! Especially Sarah, who ensured me “We can absolutely do Japanese breakfast at 6am”We also used the gym and the adult pool I’ll be honest, I haven’t left the pool (again, it’s my birthday so I’m allowed)We are so appreciative of the staff and look forward to returning again real soon

This hotel is really awesome! A neat little mall like place on the first and second floor My girlfriend and I went downstairs to Kai Coffee to start our mornings too! We got the ocean view room and it was really nice! No bed bugs too! The room service comes a bit early, but they’re really friendly and nothing was stolen My only problem was the pillows are hard like bricks

Other than that our stay was perfect!

Rahul Krish

Location – 5/5 – Just amazing, right at the center of everything Beach was just outside, lot of great restaurants and shopping around They also have a car rental right at the hotel

Room – 5/5 – Was very clean, bathrooms were great, had a balcony with a decent view of the mountainsService – Room service was fantastic, they are very friendly and helpfulValue – 5/5 – We got a great deal, so I think it’s definitely worth itAmenities – 5/5 – They have a good gym, decent pool and a hot tub They provide beach towels as well Only thing I wish the package included was the beach umbrella, but you can get one for 10 bucks a day right outsideParking – Was fairly expensive, so we didn’t end up using itI would recommend renting a car only when needed and not throughout your stay as most of the bars , beach and restaurants are within walking distanceOverall, it was a very pleasant stay! Highly recommended!

Simon Cai

Amazing place overall!!! Spending our honeymoon here, and the oceanfront room we got had a simply magnificent view The hotel is literally seconds away from the beach, so if you enjoy hearing soothing sounds of the waves then this is for you, though may not be everyone One small item is that the shower could be updated a bit, but the room itself from the bed to the bidet(!) to just the general setup with the lounger facing the ocean is just fantastic

Would definitely recommend!

This was a great hotel to stay in for a much needed long vacation after years of not really travelling anywhere long distance due to the pandemic The view from the room was divine, and the bathroom was the fanciest one I have experienced in a hotel Think lots of marble

The location is at the end of the Waikiki strip, but still walkable to all of the shops and restaurants There are 2 gift shops, and one serves a lot like the ABC convenience stores that are all over Oahu, with pricing that isn’t that different The 100 Sails restaurant in the hotel was fabulous for breakfast A bit pricey, but worth it to try at least once Highly recommend

Purushottam Raj

I and my family stayed here for seven nights and it was absolutely fabulous! The views from the room, elevator, pool are amazing The staff is super friendly, courteous and nice! The valet parking is also good This was our third visit to Oahu

We had stayed in Hilton properties before, including Hilton Village resort, except for the village experiences this hotel has been the absolute bestI loved the bathroom setup, separate shower, closed toilet with bidet (seat warmer), soaking tub outsideGreat house keeping, very friendly and goodMissing things: may be a Lanai (balcony) and Microwave, and US mainland based ATMs that don’t charge extra 🙂

Max Park

Highly recommendedContext: Ocean view room, two-nightsLocation was great

Just a 15-minute minute walk from the main hub of Waikiki For us, this meant less homeless people and a quieter area with an amazing view of the ocean, especially during sunset Also, there’s a mall that’s a 15-20 minute walk in the other directionRoom was perfect Great view, large enough, and clean Really like their bathroom set-up which is seen more in resorts in Japan Shower and toilet are in separate stalls with a spacious “common” area where the sink and mirror are Great for couplesStaff were very welcoming and accommodating If you need anything printed, they can do it for you if their commonplace printers are down They’ll also send up a microwave for you if you need one**sushi place in the first floor is alright Wife really enjoyed it, but I’d rather get poke at a market elsewhere

I’ve been staying at the Diamond Head Beach Hotel every time I come to Honolulu for at least 6 yrs Love the location, you will love sitting in lounge chairs on the lawn watching and listening to the oceanThe views are spectacular

Mark and David who I go through to rent a condo, have been greatDon’t expect a fancy hotel, what you get there is a special place that I think same people come back to year after year It’s very relaxing, actually very quietCan’t wait to go back

Milehigh Brat

The place is beautiful and the view cannot be beat Best view in all of Waikiki! The kitchen is fully stocked including spices We loved how both sides open up to the outside with wide open doorways and all of the fun ocean toys provided

The only downfall is that you can tell someone has smoked in the unit It was cheaper to park on the street than pay for the provided parking so was a blessing in disguise that no parking was available through management

Nan F

Unit 1202 needs some love The views were spectacular, but the windows were so dirty that it was distracting Both sofas need to be cleaned, there were mismatched lightbulbs in the bathroom, and the bed was very uncomfortable

We made the best of things, but overall it seemed poorly maintained As often happens the photos are misleading, probably from several years ago

We loved our stay at the Imperial Hawaiian! The staff were amazing from the moment we arrived We utilized the valet service which was excellent They had fresh towels for us when we needed them, a pool, sauna, and two outdoor hot tubs

The view of the sunset from the top floor was amazing We were within walking distance to almost everything in Waikiki, which was super nice since parking can be an issue at times Overall, our stay was great and we would definitely come back!

Todd Sivertsen

I’m not one to give reviews regularly; I hope this review helps We booked this hotel (2 adults, 2 children (14 and 18) I was nervous because the amenities and the price didn’t line up

We arrived and were not disappointed at all The room had 2 bedrooms with a pull-out bed Each kid got their own bed The staff was excellent The hotel has an ABC convenience store attached ABC has everything you would need (food, alcohol, coffee, Coke fountain machine, coffee and memorabilia)The room itself was nice although a little outdated but still nice (especially for the price) The location is great Walking distance (4 minutes) to the beach Restaurants and stores are literally next doorI highly recommend this resort

Alize Magyar

Staff was wonderful, kind, and incredibly helpful Rented some chairs for the beach at a bargain The rooms were spacious and very clean

My only complaints about the room was my pillows were a bit lumpy and the bed wasn’t the most comfortable Too firm for my liking The view from the owners lounge was spectacular and worth being an owner just for that Would definitely return to this resort next time in Waikiki if it’s available for my timeshare

Great place for a vacation stay! It’s near right on the beach and has multiple pools for all ages (lazy river, slides, infinity pool, +18 area, man-made reef for snorkeling) They have rentals for some equipment like paddle boarding The resort snorkeling also costs money, but the other areas are free! The inside is very nice

You didn’t have to walk too far for elevators and parking was pretty easy We had a suite and studio rooms, both were nice The suite had a kitchen area with utensils, plates, and glassware It also had a laundry machines in the room, a big plus of us! Any time we asked for blankets or towels, the service was fast The view from the top floors is amazing! Definitely a resort feel and very kid friendly!

Tricia Pearl

I’ve stayed here twice as a “local” to this island, each time in a standard room, once with partial ocean, another with garden view Without a doubt the reason I’m willing to pay Disney prices to stay here has nothing to do with Mickey and Minnie I stay here for the undeniable TOP LEVEL safety at the pools

As a mom who comes here with my child alone, I will pay good money for that level of lifeguard coverage since it’s impossible to have eyes on your child at all times in a property this large with slides and a lazy river Poolside food service is also invaluable for a similar reason No shuffling to a cafe to get lunch while risking losing your chairs A cast member will bring the food right to your lounge area Unfortunately, the beds in the room are not comfortable- in my opinion It’s a firm mattress on a wood platform with only sheets on top to keep you warm The first time we stayed for 3 nights I was cold and uncomfortable and slept terribly I plan on only staying one night going forward I do not see the value in losing sleep when I have the option of sleeping in my own amazing bed

Claire Doak

Beautiful resort! The staff are all so kind, lovely, and personable They really make you feel like you’re home Everything is clean and orderly

The food is fantastic! The pools, hot tubs, and beach are so fun and relaxing The location is perfect, just far enough away from Waikiki that its quiet and calm, but close enough to the activity Clearly there are hints of Disney throughout, since it is a Disney resort, but its actually quite tasteful My whole family can’t wait to go back!

The Hyatt Place is a bit dated but the location is perfect It is walking distance to the Honolulu Zoo, beach, lots of shopping options and farmers market The staff are all friendly we did not encounter one problem at the hotel

The room was cleaned daily which I thought was only going to be every couple of days so that was a nice surprise Especially after a long day coming back to a clean room was perfect They offer chairs and towels for the beach which is great There is a Dominoes located inside the hotel which was a bonus for the kids The breakfast was edible, not the best or worst It is at least a hot breakfast daily You eat on the 3rd floor outside which was amazing Enjoyed breakfast with a nice breeze every morning One last important thing, the beds were pretty comfy and the hotel was really quiet It made relaxing at night very easy

Matthew Wray

My family and I stayed here for 5 nights We enjoyed our stay but here are our thoughtsThe valet and bell service were top notch

All the guys that worked in these departments were fantastic The front desk staff could really use some help They were not friendly and they had trouble locating my 2nd room This was finally corrected, and I did get the two rooms I reservedFree breakfast is a nice perk, but it does have a limited selection The coffee that was provided was decent for hotel coffee There are a lot of birds, but I am not sure what could be done to remedy thisThe water refill stations on the first floor are really nice, and it does keep you having to buy bottles of water You also get a $5 credit per day to use at the bistro, and that is a nice treatOverall, if you are looking for a budget friendly hotel in Waikiki, this is a great option However, if you are looking for more of a Hawaiian vacation destination, I would look elsewhere

Naomi Teramoto

Hyatt Place Waikiki Beach is amazing!!It’s not 5 star as in opulent but certainly 5 star in service, cleanliness, consistency and comfort!! We love it here every time 💖We checked in late at night The room was comfortable and certainly clean

Exactly what we expected We asked about a different room only because we were hoping for a slightly different set up and what we got was outstanding!Comfort, view, and impeccable service all around!!

The room was spacious and the view we requested at purchase matched the description online It was amazing! The staff went above and beyond for us We misunderstood the housekeeping schedule (which was that they would clean your room every third day) and we requested daily cleanings after each night’s stay

Even though it wasn’t policy, the staff cleaned our room They totally didn’t have to do this but they did it anyway and we appreciate them appeasing us!Staff at the desk were amazing as well and greeted us each day by name and with a warm smile which is impressive considering they (and us) wore face masks! I highly recommend this hotel and would love to come back!

Beth Rosencrans

We loved staying at the Lotus! The employees are so friendly and helpful They were all so nice to talk to! I loved the location as it was on Waikiki, but is located at the end so it’s a lot more quietIt can be argued that the Lotus is worth 5 stars, but I couldn’t do it because unfortunately, it is not located on the beach and does not have a pool or hot tub

There isn’t much they can do to change that and they have done their best to make it the best it can be They also have a fine dining restaurant that only serves dinner, so other meals were in town There is a small beach they have access to and they provide beach chairs which was fantastic They also serve complimentary wine in the afternoon and have bicycles to borrow to ride around town Rooms are spacious, updated and very clean – they also have a great view of Diamond Head and some water viewsI would absolutely recommend the Lotus to friends and will definitely return in the future It was a great week!

Print Away

We were paid $1500 for a two bedroom suite Which is fine if the hotel had any amenities It doesn’t have a pool, a restaurant, just a one person front desk

Zero view on the ocean Very little parking We were suppose to stay 4 nights but we just stayed one The location is not near restaurants If you want to walk through a parking lot and drag you beach chair chair over Not what I thought I was getting us We moved down got two rooms overlooking the beach near restaurant, house keeping everyday without asking for it All the amenities you could ask for and much more I never do reviews But after not reading the reviews before booking I had to put my two sense in It is clean

The rooms are so so They don’t do room cleaning unless you pay for it, however you can exchange towels and such at the front desk The staff is great and very helpful

The location is at the far end of Waikiki, really good for families (proximity to zoo/beach/aquarium) If you’re looking for night life, most of it will be a half mile walk, doable but there are better places to stay for that The assigned parking is nice if want to pay for it

German R (Elegate)

To Roxy thank you very much for your hospitality and for going above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable one The location is great I liked it The prices are pretty competitive and parking is not too bad

Word of advice if you have a rental please call the hotel in advance so they can reserve a spot for you On the second floor they have a bar, Hula’s Bar & Lei Stand, which does gives a nice view of the Diamond Head The next time I go to Honolulu the Waikiki Grand Hotel is most definitely the first spot I’ll check out

Ying Li

My conclusion on this place: 1) You got what you paid for 2) I would not recommend this place 3) Location was the only good thing

Reasoning: 1) the whole shower set broke, cant shower at all Front desk personnel was not willing to change room (allow me to go to another room to shower) until the Wi-Fi was not working in that room 2) front desk personnel seems busy all the time, no patient with attitude Made a big deal of getting a blanket and bringing back a blanket

Spent a week with my kids at this resort and i honestly don’t have a bad thing to say about it From our arrival, the customer was some of the best i have ever experienced It is a beautiful resort that is super kid friendly

Multiple pools for the kids to enjoy and a reflection pool for the grown ups The lagoon beach out front was perfect for laying out, building sand castles, and just relaxing in the water There were different activities to keep everyone entertained including an outdoor movie night My only real issue with this resort is that it’s on Oahu, so any time you venture off property there is horrible trafficI would highly recommend this resort!

Karen Scott

The resort is beautiful and well kept Our villa is spacious and has plenty of space for the 7 people Even the pull out beds are comfortable

The kitchens are equipped with more than enough tools to cook a full meal or a simple snack The view from the balcony is gorgeousThere are a ton of activities daily for kids and adults The restaurants are good and the food is delicious and comes out piping hotThe beach is gorgeous and because it’s in a cove there are little to no waves and very calm You can float in a tube and fall asleep it’s so calmThe pools are refreshing and offer something for everyone A quiet pool (reflection), a toddler/volleyball pool with a beach sand entry, and another pool with varying levels that has a waterfall, cave and separate slideThe ocean is clear, you can see straight to the bottom There are fish everywhere as well It’s amazing!Fabulous resort and worth the trip!

We had quite a terrible time at the holiday inn expressIn our first room, the ceiling was flooding and leaking (see photos) When we told the front desk they had a maintenance person inspect it and tell us we had to move rooms

We got downgraded in our rooms and the front desk refused to give us any compensation for the downgrade or the fact that the ceiling was leaking It was very unfortunateAt the very least they should offer a night or two off or a discountThen, the front desk double charged us twice for our resort fees We paid these upfront through the booking agent, but then they tried charging us again when we arrivedThe morning breakfast is also very low quality and not worth it It’s convenient but not good We ended up going out for breakfast most daysThe housekeepers were great though They always worked very hard to keep the hotel cleaned and they were much appreciated

Jeff Blankenship

Two queens with ocean view is not disappointing us Centrally located and within walking distance of good food and beautiful beaches You get breakfast every morning helping save money on meals

No restaurant or bar on premiseSmall pool but a nice size jacuzzi Putting section and ping pong Great place to relax after a long day of soaking up the sun and surfStaff have been extremely friendly and helpfulWe will certainly come back

Giving this a 5 star rating based on our entire experience The hotel is very clean! It’s an older hotel that’s been very nicely updated! Especially in the beautiful lobby and bar/Restaurant The food here is beyond amazing! The rooms are nice and clean

But more than anything, The entire staff made this an incredible experience You truly feel like they become friends Pony up and get a room with a beach view or better yet an ocean front We had a beach view which was nice but wished we had a beachfront once we saw them Location is amazing too! Away from the crazy Waikiki but yet close to everything! Thank you!

Our stay at this hotel was great! Right on the beach and near lots of park amenities like tennis courts, soccer field, and basketball courts Wide open stone walkway to run alone the shoreline Great views of Diamond Head and close, easy access to gas stations and restaurants

The older part of the hotel doesn’t have an elevator but it is key access to get to stairs Our room was 302 or 304 I believe We had the corner room on the third floor and it was awesome! Very roomy and loved the large balconies and 3 sliding doors to access each side We still had a partial ocean view Room was always nice and cool Fridge and microwave worked great The vanity had two sinks so it was easier to get ready Room was always clean everyday and everyone was always super nice to us Definitely will stay here again

Not as advertised – insane hidden fees – gross carpet – fake upgradesI was fooled by the reviews, pictures, description, and overall rating of this “resort” I’ll list the cons and then the pros since I believe in transparent, neutral, non biased reviewsCONS:- old, gross looking, dirty carpet in hallways to rooms on each floor- huge hidden fees (housekeeping $40 per cleaning, $40 lounge chair rental fee for pool area, $400 cabana rentals by the pool, $35 breakfast not included with room as advertised)- fake upgrade

I booked a partial ocean view, high floor room, and they explained they upgraded me for free to an ocean view They lied and gave me the same room I booked as they could not prove which room they had me booked in prior to the upgrade- The mini fridge was faulty and the door would not stay closed, causing us to lose lots of perishable items- The pool area is “reserved” after 7pm and impossible to find a free place to sit- Bed was older, spring mattresses, not pillow top or comfortable for a 5 star resort- NOT a 5 star resort as most travel sites claim it to bePROS:- Nice and friendly staff- Decent views as most of the surrounding hotels have views of other hotels- Centrally located in Waikiki, easy to get anywhere from thereDo your research, compare rates, look for hidden fees, upgrade items, know what it’s actually included in your hotel or resort

The location was really good, although Waikiki is an extremely touristy place the rooftop bar feels like you have left the touristy streets The rooms were Nice (located in the beach side rooms)A fair few cons tho, although this should be a 4-5 star resort at times it didn’t feel like it We asked for a partial beach view, and was mainly buildings with a glimpse of beach

A man behind the bar (Chris I think?) was quite rude, we expect to have pool side/table service at all times, however, the man stated we had to come collect/order our food and drinks at the bar which meant kept having to get in and out of the pool (lots of staff still on duty) Although when the females were on duty, table service was allowed and we felt extremely welcomed! The music was extremely loud, could hear it on level 17 at 10pm I think the staff should also manage who leaves the pool, as seen, some would put towels on spare chairs and then leave for hours Or one lady put 4 towels on different chairs to “save them” then no one would show up for 3+ hours Also would recommend putting guests over walk ins on the pool lounges Our room was only ever cleaned 1/6 days The only other time was a house keeper coming at 5:30pm and we declined as it was night time and expect it to be done during the day Although, this all sounds so negative and I am not one to write a negative review but when you are paying a lot of money, you expect these certain things to be met or to not have as many negative things to say Overall, I’d say this is a 3 star hotel with the possibility of being a 4-5 star resort if fixing those issues

Christopher

Great location, comfortable and clean room, nice pool and jacuzzi, good service, food at bar/restaurant could use improvementI was in room 1962 king bed with ocean and diamond head view

Bed was clean and comfortable, slept well each night Air conditioning was easy to control and worked quickly and I believe automatically turned off if the patio doors were open Did not hear my neighbors at all unless I was out on the patio Yes the carpet looks dirty but it was a design choice not because it hasn’t been cleaned The mini fridge was the probably the only major failure in the room, it takes a long time to cool things and probably had food poisoning from some leftovers I put insideThe location is perfect All food options were within a 10 minute walk at most and the beach is just across the streetAll in all, a good, affordable modern hotel

Hilton Honors member here Stayed here for 9 days and had a great experience The management and staff worked hard to make things right while we stayed there

The AC in our room broke down; we were moved to another room The staff was very friendly! The free breakfast was our favorite The suites are perfect for families! Will def stay again here

Wynona Adams

All the staff are great but watch out for the hostesses for breakfast! If you and your family are local, they will stare at you like you don’t belong there! Even if you check in with one of them and go back to get ANYTHING after you went up once they will stare at you harder!!! The other one will literally run after you like you personally stole something from her even if you already told them how many was in your party Front desk was amazing But bad experience with the breakfast hostesses

Wish I could give a higher rating for the service we got from the other people that work there

One of the best ocean view hotels in Waikiki Our family stayed in Ocean Front Club Queen Room for 5 nights in July 2022 Everything during our stay was perfect

The room was spacious, clean and newly renovated The beds were big and comfortable The location are convenient to a lot of restaurants and shopping malls The hotel staff were so kind and always there to provide help to the hotel guests The hotel also had an easy access to the beach and different kinds of water activities The hotel public area were newly renovated in a modern and bright style to make you feel happy and relax At last , I wants to say thanks to Mandy, the housekeeper of 8F, she worked so hard to keep our Room 819 clean and tidy everyday Also, send my thanks to Frank, the manager of V47 club lounge, he was always there every morning to help us set up the breakfast All my family members, my husband, my kids love the hotel so much We will definitely come back in the near future

Theresa Orzech

The staff was amazing very kind Jason at the front desk was amazing hooked us up with activities in the area to do So far our stay has been so so wonderful will definitely come back the rooms are nicely furnished refrigerator lots of room and balcony also attached to the room nice to sit out and hear the bands play

The beach is right around the corner leaving Wednesday and dreading itit’s been a wonderful stay LOVE LOVE LOVE this place If you don’t stay here you are missing out!

From start to finish, this hotel was perfect for our family vacation Donna, at the front desk, was helpful on more than one occasion and made our stay that much more relaxing and worry free All staff members we spoke to were friendly and attentive

Our room was cleaned daily (we called to ask for it) We stayed in a one bedroom suite, and both the bed and the pull out sofa bed were comfortable Rooms were cool with air conditioning that ran without any issues The fridge and microwave were very handy with two kids – so we were able to keep snacks and beverages in our room for a longer period of time The pool was relaxing, and right next to the bar ~ which made for a relaxing time for the adults and fun time for the kiddos If you walk through the hotel you end up straight on the beach! Overall, we are so pleased we stayed here, and will definitely book again!

Not too bad overall, but a little overrated The price is what you’d expect from a military-affiliate hotel, so the higher rank you are the less value you’re getting The location isn’t bad, but a little outside the main area (this may be considered an advantage)

Parking is $16 is you’re staying there, which is great for the area The big hit on this hotel for me, along with the rough towels in the bathroom, was the pool There’s an adult only pool, a main pool with an infinity pool above it, and a splash area for children The splash area is fun, but the main pool had so many rules it was hard to enjoy anything:- the entire pool is cleared at the top of the hour for “safety and training,” whatever that entails (it wasn’t obvious)- a child must know how to swim to swim in the pool without a life jacket (which they will provide) I understand that’s extremely safe, but then what’s the point of the three lifeguards and the other rule to be within arm’s reach of your young child all the time? Clearly this pool is not a good opportunity to have a child practice swimmingOverall, I’m glad I stayed a night, and I haven’t discounted the Hale Koa entirely, but I will definitely do a thorough cost comparison with hotels in the area before staying again

Jessica Morel

Friendly staff, very clean hotel and Omgosh the beds are comfortable as ever! There is a Starbucks in the main lobby which is convenient when you want to wake up early and just lounge in the lobby area Downstairs there is the Exchange for military and hotel guest Pathway downstairs leads you to the pools and beaches

Food was good I had a cheeseburger and fries for lunch which was delicious Ocean view rooms you will not regret if you purchase it was amazing! Free parking and walking distance from the strip I definitely would book here again!

Tammy Folks

Hale Koa is a haven in the craziness of Waikiki The grounds are stunning The adult pool was so relaxing and quiet, with shaded areas which is a must for me

Liked the Barefoot Bar as there was a lot of room to spread out, and had good drinks for a reasonable price Our room was very nice, we were on the end so had an extra large window which made it feel more spacious Our friends stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian village which was beautiful, but it was way too crowded for us We enjoyed the serene quiet of Hale Koa! The only thing I would change is for restaurants to have more gluten free options as I have celiac disease The breakfast buffet was fine, but the snack bars really had very little or nothing I could eat This hotel is a definite perk for those who serve/retire from the military We felt blessed to have the opportunity to stay there!

This particular location is awesome They make you as a gust feel so welcomed This is my second time staying here and it’s perfect

The team members are the best The front desk employees night and day are the best They go above and beyond and that is true customer service Even though some were training, they were a team and they help each other out I had an issue with my cellphone and had to get a replacement shipped out to me That front desk kept an eye out for my package and call me the second it came in I appreciated that little kindness so much Thank you, thank you The hotel is so clean and I am a germaphobe The housekeeping sprays and disinfects the room before going in to clean The cleaning is impeccable 👌 I will be back

I honestly want to rate Hampton Inn & Suites Kapolei a five star, but I will make it 4/5 I will mention the downside first First, there was no microwave

I would recommend having microwave in all rooms I believe all the guests needs microwave to heat up their food Lastly, the ac Guests should be able to control the temperature in their rooms Me and my family were freezing due to how cold the room was and all we can do was wear jackets, hoodies or sweatshirts, and socksThe good side however is they have free breakfast every day, they can provide us toothbrush, toothpaste, etc (if we need one), get mini fridge, friendly & helpful staff, a swimming pool (already have clean towels for guests to ready to use outside), laundry room, a gym, and a beautiful lounge to stay at I also like how their water dispenser has that footstep to get water instead of using our fingers to pressSo overall, this still a good place to stay at It is a friendly and safe environment 🙂

Lavinia Morrison

I cannot say enough good things about this place! All of the staff are polite, friendly and professional This place is immaculateThe breakfast buffet is great

There is something for everyone The kitchen staff work tirelessly keeping the place clean and the food and beverages replenished There is a fitness center, pool and laundry room on the first door The decor is modern with very clean linesRight outside, in walking distance are a plethora of restaurants and shops!I highly recommend this hotel! ❤❤❤❤

Hands down this property is the best place to stay in Waikiki Beach! Every room is basically a one bedroom apartment with a balcony and some great views The kitchen is fully loaded with a full fridge and oven Literally one block from the heart of Waikiki Beach

Tons of restaurants within walking distance Great pricing and the staff was awesome Jennifer the GM knows how to take care of business travelers and Jonathan at the front desk went out of his way to help with local suggestions and amenities I will definitely be back Such a great place for the price!!

Felix Martinez

I booked this place from Bookingcom and the pictures of the room were nothing like the pictures on the website The room I got was in really bad shape

Everything was old, the carpet was dirty, and hallways were in bad shape too As soon as I seen my room I went back down to the lobby and told them that I was expecting a room that looks like the pictures in the website They said they could move me the next day to a more modern room I took their offer The room I moved to was remodeled more recently and was in better shape I had a better view too I think they should be more honest with their potential customers so that you know what you are getting for your money before you get there The staff was friendly

Candice Maroney

I liked this place when I first came to Hawaii some years ago, that was why I recommend we stay here for my Birthday this year It has good prices, a full kitchen and enough space for the family but the quality sucks Only 2 out of 4 of our room keys actually work

The ceiling and carpet have stains in them The mattresses on the bed are very hard Closet space is very limited Last night there was a Cockroach in our room!! Which made me very paranoid, I could barely sleep The store downstairs is very overpriced I wouldn’t recommend buying anything The security staff are friendly but the others were not I won’t be back
