This is a nice place to stay I just give 4 stars because you’re just getting your basic necessities which is fine It was super easy to check in

The room was clean My only suggestions would be to include a couple of bottled waters in the room Would also be nice if there was a mini fridge in there Hotel is on a good location downtown, within walking distance of everything

Great food and incredibly nice staff! We were on vacation with our 18 month old daughter, and the service was great! The staff while staff was extremely friendly keeping our daughter entertained and the food was perfect I grew up in the restaurant industry working for my family and I have nothing but the upmost respect for Old Dutch Tavern!

Good drinks and decent service but if you’re going to sell a $35 ribeye, it would be a great idea to teach your staff how to cook It tasted pre-cooked and reheated, definitely not cooked on a hot enough skillet I suggest a cast iron skillet!I also noticed not one person was wearing gloves and I saw the cooks touching my food with bare hands! I did not see anyone was their hands after going outside for what seemed like a cigarette break maybe?I’ll never eat here again

Stayed here for our 1 year wedding anniversary and loved it! Very low key and the owners are sweet Very nice breakfast and we enjoyed a comfortable stay I’m only giving 4 stars as we stayed in the hideaway room and the shower/bath was just too small

Aside from the fact we stayed two nights and they don’t make the beds and there wasn’t any room replenishments Otherwise, enjoyed our stay and would recommend Note: the town is growing but there is not much to write home about Augusta quite yet However it is a nice quiet place if you want to unwind and getaway

Thank you for the response, but that won’t be necessary Your staff is extremely rude, your grounds weren’t very well kept, (I noticed weeds all in the flower beds) and you don’t have sufficient parking to support your business it sounds like You also don’t care about your community enough to allow some kids and their parents to take some photos for a once in a lifetime event

You dont want that to happen? post some private parking or private property signs visibly And in the future, given that it is a business and you’re all about the money, you could have said something nicely Kindness goes a long way “Hey! Thank you guys for wanting to take photos here, but we have events going on and really need the parking If you want to take some photos at a later date we would love to set up a time” Would have meant a lot more in person than, “You have 5 minutes to leave or we are calling the police”

Mother’s day brunch was at best a disaster I normally don’t bash on places but it was pretty pathetic We had reservations for 1200 along with another 100 or so participants

Stuffed into the wating room we were seated 20 mins late There was no organization for serving The buffet ran out of food multiple times with the staff standing around watching and seldomly refilling The line was extremely slow due to people waiting for food When the food was restocked it was cold or luke warm and mostly store bought At the prices paid I expect at minimum restaurant quality One star for the fried chicken, the rest was pretty poor On a side note the only free drinks were water and tea, when paying a premium price at least sodas should be included Seems almost like a scam

Curious, we went for drinks yesterday having last been there more than a decade ago The renovation is clearly a huge success Every square inch inside and out has been addressed using topnotch materials (e

g, copper gutters, nicely resurfaced parking area, refinished plaster walls beautifully painted) and the general effect is 5 star Our female bartender was attractive, friendly and professional and the bar area was classy and cosy We look forward to many lunches and dinners at this beautiful addition to the dining scene in Washington Kudos!

This was our 1st stay ever at a B&B My expectations were blown away The Hostess Kathy was so pleasant

Upon arrival, she gave us a personal tour and explained the details of her 100+ plus year old home Very large brand new hot tub, under cover A quaint courtyard with accent lighting and an outdoor fireplace just invited relaxation The location is in the center of the town, and you are a 2-4 block walk from everything Augusta has to offer Breakfast in the morning was 1st class Can’t wait to book again

If I could give this place 6 stars, I would Every single detail was thought very well throughWe came off trail after muddy day

no problem – Kathy welcomed us with a water hose readyAtmosphere is everything you want from a B&B – personalized service (even the flip-flops), great sitting room (with snacks and drinks), tranquil setting (inside and out – including hot tub and lots of seating in gardens) and SUPERB breakfast (very generous helpings need that pancake recipe!) Kathy was a top-rated host – friendly, accommodating (vegan breakfasts) and there if needed Thank you for a memorable stay

The residence and all the rooms are exactly as they are presented on the website so no need to try to explain in greater detail Just look and you’ll see Yes, the custom made bathtubs are that amazing, each room has individually controlled heat/AC units, and the outdoor jacuzzi is huge!Kathy went above and beyond to ensure my stay was unforgettable and even accomodated my girlfriend’s non-traditional dietary needs for breakfast

Every recommendation Kathy made as to the surrounding areas was spot-on so know that by staying at the Lindenhof you’ll get more than just a comfortable bed and a hot breakfastPerfectly centrally located in the Missouri wine country as well as being centermass of the cutest little town of Augusta, and best of all, right across the little street from the town’s boutique mini-mart
