I have been traveling more frequently and try to stay at Holiday Inns This decision is based off of my confidence in Holiday Inn I am able to comfortably stay at a hotel with the cleanliness and amenities within my budget

Unfortunately my past 3 stays made me feel that the brand’s customer service is not of importance to the company I had to travel to Long Island recently and this branch was everything I think of when staying at a hotel The room was immaculately cleaned, my bed was a cloud, the decor is updated, the woman who checked me in was professional and seemed happy to meet us and the breakfast was hot, fresh and delicious 😋

From the booking process to the check out process, everything went smoothly! Customer service was excellent! I booked the room the day of and was able to get a double queen room for a pretty decent price, considering all other hotels in the area were booked! Check in starts at 3PM, I didn’t make it to the hotel until 7/8ish PM but the wonderful receptionist did give me a call to make sure I was going to make it, and reassured me that my reservation was secure (I hadn’t paid yet, did the whole pay at location option) Housekeeping had done a good job with cleaning the room and restocking! As you can tell from pictures, there was enough parking (they had more in back), views weren’t anything special but decent for a hotel right off the highway Overall had a good stay!

The desk attendant who checked us in kept talking to her coworker in Spanish while checking us in Stayed for 5 nights room was only cleaned the first morning and the fourth day Called front desk to advise them that our room had not been cleaned for 2 days

They sent up clean towels and assured us that our room would be cleaned the following day Had to empty our own garbages Note slipped under the door advising that the room would only be cleaned the following day if we requested it Called front desk and the lady said we had been added to list already because the room was not cleaned for two days The next day room was not cleaned Went to the front desk who advised that they were not aware that we had requested that the room be cleaned Breakfast was good Requested a wake up call for day of departure that was not received

Upon checking in we inspected the room and found that the bathroom had not been cleaned well (hairs in the tub and a streaky mirror), the little bottles of mouthwash that were left for us were not replaced (one had a broken seal and no protective cap on it) and the floors were not very clean When I called the front desk they were quick to offer a new room and apologized for the inconveniences The second room was cleaner however, the furnishings were no where near as nice

The first room had a nice leather couch, the second room had a couch that looked like it came from a thrift storeThe second and third day we were there the hotel was hosting a baseball tournament that they didn’t seem prepared for The breakfast was actually a nice spread as far as hotel food goes but they could not keep up with the demand ran out of several items They also stopped serving at breakfast at exactly 9 which one a typical day that they weren’t fully booked would have been fine However, with the baseball tournament and lack of food supply there were still many guests waiting in line for food when the staff came around and shut everything down This showed a complete lack of hospitality Lastly the pool towels are very small and some of the most uncomfortable towels I’ve ever used Drying myself with sandpaper may have been betterGood location, but other than that I would not recommend this hotel

It’s on the middle of nowhere, not near anything to do! The staff although very nice seemed inadequate to fulfill there duties! We had booked a double with sleeper sofa(all they had left)got up to it & found a king! Not gonna work!! I’m staying with family & needed at least 2 beds and a cot!! Got back downstairs found another guest had a key to a room that was already occupied (what??)The hotel was booked solid(it’s long island on a summer weekend so what else is new)! The next morning before heading out I asked the front desk if housekeeping could change just the double(we were changing guests) he said sure I’ll let them know Got back later to find it hadnt been done(really? This is pathetic)!!!The rates arent cheap either So I will not be staying here ever again!!

Derrick Dubois

I’ve been in the city for the last 15 years for the last 6 years I haven’t seen my grandmother or my mother so seeing them in a Holiday inn that was close to where I’m from in Long Island was nice and their pool wasn’t anything special but it was special to me I also thought it was very considerate that they’re pool was not very deep the lowest level was 3 ft its perfect if you have kids or nieces or nephews In the morning they treat you to a buffet breakfast which if I wasn’t staying in a nursing home I wouldn’t have thought very much of it but after eating hospital food for so long it was like gourmet if you know what I mean

We recently attended a wedding reception at the Fox Hollows To our surprise this reception was nothing like the one we attended prior to CovidThe staff was inexperienced and service was poor

The cocktail hour room was so hot the ice cubes were melting as much as we were Long lines to get a drink or food from the stations due to the inexperienced servers The ladies room was a disaster, despite the attendant to seems to enjoy talking to another staff person outside of the bathroom instead of being inside and ensuring the guests weren’t the ones cleaning the stallsThe food quality has drastically changedOnce upon a time this was the reception hall for your dream wedding or event I know many families who held numerous events throughout their lifetimes there – a tradition of quality which now ceases to existThe wedding was lovely solely due to the abundance of love and joy for the couple The brides impeccable taste in flowers and special touches were magnificent, the music was wonderful and everyone danced the night away – while at the same time dodges the waiters who cut through the center do the dance floor, dropping a trail of dishes and glasses Simply unacceptableThere are many facilities of superior quality now consider for upcoming events The Fox Hollow will certainly not gain any business from the guests attending this weddingWords of wisdom- ask questions and get everything in writing and have someone checking that evening if all is as promised Otherwise, you will be greatly disappointed

Judith Harrison

It was very easy to book a room at a competitive price The hotel’s landscaping is beautiful and it was effortless to check in The room was very clean and the buffet had many palatable options that were refilled often

Room service was a bit slow but the food was very tastyI would book again!!

Giovanna Hinman

Great hotel I was so grateful that we took the reservation at the Fox while I was in my medical treatment The food was great

The workers are friendly and nice peopleThe suite was big and very comfortable The pillows no so good though The room was super clean and great space The clean ladies always came to clean the room They were very friendly and helpfulI will reccomend it 100%

Great accommodations Hotel in very good condition Our room was spotless and refreshed on each day of our 6 night stay

Very comfortable beds (some might say a little firm, but I slept like a baby) No issues with anything (TV, lighting, A/C, etc) during our stay Hotel was very busy on the holiday weekend but had no impact whatsoever on our experience Staff was on top of their game Excellent price compared to some 2 star hotels in the area No free breakfast, but it was nice to see complimentary Starbucks coffee available in the lobby and if your on Long Island you’re not far from a fresh bagel Plenty of dining choices within a couple of miles Will certainly stay here again

Mary

Hyatt Regency Long Island made our one-night stay so incredibly special We brought out kid for a special celebration for graduating kindergarten I called ahead and asked the housekeeping manager to make the room special and he said he would make the room have towels folded into the shape of animals and he also made a special trip to get small balloons saying ‘happy graduation’ and a graduation card

The pools were great – indoor and outdoor The breakfast restaurant was very tasty and the service was very nice The dining room / bar restaurant upstairs was just fine for a quick bite – if you want something more private or intimate, look elsewhere for a romantic dinner because it was very much a hotel lobby restaurant as opposed to a restaurant that happened to be in the lobby of a hotel The room service we ordered arrived incredibly quickly though they were unable to make an espresso martini (we managed to survive) All around a very lovely stay

Dotti Gallois

I have had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for the week because of work I cannot say enough about the great experience Every staff member I have encountered have been the best and friendliest people

And let’s talk about the food at Nu Bar & Lounge I had two meals therethe Long Island Cobb salad with chicken and the Turkey Club sandwich with grilled vegetables every bite was amazing!

I was driving after long fly to the Hampton than I felt tried So I decided to stay for a night at this Hotel for the first I love it The interior is awesome clean an the staff offers and outstanding customer care

I love the price I paid $ 141 for the night for a walk in with no reservation what’s so ever I love and I will comeback I recommend this hotel to everybody

1) very strong smoke smell when I just opened the door But The room actually is non smoking room!2) duplicate charge for pet fee Called them asking for refund and they never pay me back!We booked 2 rooms for 2nights on November 2021

The policy says each pet is $25 per night We only have one dog stayed in one room so it’s $50, but they changed me extra $25 for no reason So I eventually paid $75 for pet fee I didn’t realized that until I saw the credit card statement Called them and the person said they can refund me on the credit card Now it is 7 months after, no one contact me and no refund to my accountThe nonsmoking room has super strong smoke smell and when I stepped in the window is opened ac is on fan is on It literally just like someone just smoked In the room one minute ago and left Front desk lady changed the room for me with no problem But I think it should not happened like this if it is NON SMOKING ROOM

Joyce Venezia Suss

This hotel is updated, beds are clean and comfortable, and front desk people are friendly BUT if you are handed a key to a ground floor room, REFUSE IT Our room had an overflowing humidifier and smelled musty, and our window faced the outdoor pool, with no privacy

Our children’s room across the hall was dark, blocked by shrubs next to the parking lot The pool crew was using a loud power washer on the deck while I was trying to rest before a wedding The front desk receptionist offered to try to get me a new room, but it was almost time to get ready so I refused Lesson to share: AVOID THE GROUND FLOOR ROOMS!

Great place Beautiful setting with lots of great views Amazing sunlight

Cozy rooms It’s like a maze with many little rooms to discover Bathrooms are shared but there are so many bathrooms that we never had any issuesThis place is a true gem

I haven’t been to the Belvedere in 40 years Not much has changedI had never stayed in the Water Room before, which included a King Size bed, which consisted of 2 twin beds joined together!A hard lump in the middle and one bed higher than the other didn’t leave much room for romance or a good nights sleep for that matter

A chair to sit in would have been a good addition as well We won’t be back

Evan Lacon

The place needs a little attention and a good cleaningThe staff is not very friendlythe young guys have a lot of attitude and the older people that work in the office seemed a bit tired of the whole thingthe pool is much smaller than it looks online and the cushions on the chairs around the pool are so worn out you might as well be laying on the hard chairs themselvesI did like the Shady seating area

The check in went very smooth! The front desk has been very friendly and welcoming! Sabrina at the front desk made sure we were having a wonderful stay! It smells fresh and clean in the halls The room was very clean I love the amenities, specifically the gym and outdoor patio area with the fire place

It’s my first time here and I will definitely recommend and come back for future stays! The rooms are very spacious for families They also have a basketball court provided with a ball at the front desk of the kiddies get bored

I’ve stayed at this hotel numerous times including before, during and current covid times This and the building next door (courtyard) are some of the newer hotels around suffolk county If your traveling and not a local, there is a target down the road and walmart and supermarket a little further down

I’ve never had a problem with my rooms, always clean, ac or heat always worked, tv , shower everything was fine No mold no bugs none of that The staff has always been very nice The only issue this hotel has seems to be in the warmer months or near holidays (valentines/4th of july) people having hotel parties during one of my stays last year there was a pretty big party but the staff had them removed I stayed recently and there was not a peep! I would recommend, and will be staying again

We booked a block of rooms in December 2021 and also planned a dinner at the hotel for 25 guests We worked with Rosemarie Tibball, Sales Manager on all the details including menu, room set up for the dinner, guest coupons for breakfast and giving out gift bags during check in Rosemarie was always available to respond to questions and also made herself available to meet with us in person

The hotel was recently renovated The rooms and lobby were modern and spotless clean All the staff including the front desk, server during our buffet dinner and servers at breakfast were all excellent The food for the dinner buffet was delicious Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Ami Qureshi

We were here for a wedding this past weekend I was part of a bridal party so I had no choice but to stay here for the weekend My room was absolutely disgusting

I spoke to front desk manager and they did credit me $50 for the inconvenience I have videos of spider webs all along the window sill, headboard, and lamp There was no cold water, and carpet was sticky While checking out, someone also at front desk told me that they don’t usually put anyone in room 254, and were shocked we were given this room The AC hardly worked unless you put it on really low I understand this is a 3-star hotel, but with a name like ‘Hilton” you’d think the cleanliness would be better I felt like I was in a jail cell Very upset with my stay here Don’t recommend until they actually go through with their renovation

Kristen Suter

The best part of our stay was Josie at the front desk We have never had better customer service! She was kind, took an interest in remembering things we talked with her about, made sure we had everything we needed and was just amazing! The hotel itself is very nice, as well Comfortable beds, clean and a nice outdoor seating area with fire pits

I highly recommend this hotel!

I can’t even believe how amazing this hotel is Pulled up in front and the guy is there with the luggage cart waiting Another person immediately takes an ice cream cake I’m holding and puts it in a freezer

Another person is waiting at the desk to check me in Get to the room the man that brought everything up to the room unloads everything and doesn’t leave until he makes sure everything is as expected I rented a regular room for one night my daughter and 3 friends and an joining one for me I asked if they could have a table set aside for my daughters birthday dinner They called me the day before I arrived to not only tell me they would have a special table but that they would make special menus with her name on it Went over all safe food because we had one child with allergies I can’t even tell you how many little things each person working here did to make our stay special because there were so many! For dinner They had a room to themselves with their own waitress, they decorated the table with different color napkins in each glass and a birthday sign This was all done as standard service, all I paid for was the rooms! The pool is amazing! The desk found out two of my daughters friend had to leave for a short time and they offered to keep the pool open later so they didn’t miss out on any pool timeI’ve never stayed at such an amazing hotel!

Update- I was refunded $50

honestly at that rate don’t bother refunding money, id just take the loss My family got about as much sleep as we’d have gotten if we slept in a tent in the parking lot and it would have been a heck of a lot less expensive I’ll be staying at the Marriott down the road next time we’re in town Do not recommendPositives- sufficiently safe and no bedbugs Also the staff at breakfast was lovely and helpfulNegatives- sticky floor, dirty walls, hair all over the bathroom, no fresh towels, no working vending machines, but the best part was the fire alarm in our bedroom going off at 2am when we were sleeping After calling the front desk, who very nonchalantly told us to call back if it went over again (it did), we had to wait for someone to come upstairs to look at it Apparently there was a miscommunication between them and the front desk because the gentleman who came into our room spent a few moments trying to wrench the thermostat off the wall, leaving piles of wall on the floor before we pointed out the problem was with the fire alarm He removed it and told us they’d replace it the next morning They did not We had to call multiple times to have them send someone up with what I’d consider a basic safety requirementOther notes: everything is outdated, the walls are thin and you can hear everything

Matt Fisher

This is a fabulous hotel with very clean rooms and the most magnificent pool and hot tub! The staff was friendly and took care of all our needs right away and the food at the breakfast buffet was exceptional I highly recommend the omelet station and fresh baked croissants even the kids were raving about all the choices!!! Very spacious rooms and a gorgeous lobby bar with lounge seating all around was the icing on the cake!

The property is beautiful and well maintained Rooms are clean My stay was on a weekend, didn’t get a chance to sample breakfast

You don’t get room service unless requested and had to ask for towels twiceLocation had quick access to LIE, but is a little off the beaten pathOverall lovely stay would definitely recommend if looking for kitchenette for your stay

Nelson Campbell

Beautiful hotel nice spacious rooms majority of the staff is pleasant and helpful, rooms kept clean , and the hotel is always quiet but be aware of the egotistical manager Travis who has no compassion and consideration of a miss understanding that could have been cleared in 2 seconds, but when certain people are put in a position of Power then they power trip A miss understanding of my kids charging ice cream to my room and my card not being billed because I had to cancel my cards because I lost my wallet resulted in Travis kicking me and my 5 year old daughter out and his exact words were “Things happen good luck”

Good luck to him Karma always comes back

Went for dinner and drinks with work friends We were a group of 8 people Had called in advance for seating and the table was set and ready for us at the appointed time

They sat us right by the fish tank which is very pretty The waitress, Kathy, was excellent and courteous We all had the price fix meal which was great Appetizer, dinner and dessert It was spaced out perfectly, not rushed but not so long between courses for us to wonder where our food was This allowed us to enjoy our dinner and have nice conversation It was a great evening Everybody enjoyed the food, the surroundings and the service

Let me first off by staying I travel for a living and have been a Marriott member for the past 8 years I have over 700 stays at Marriott properties Last night when I checked in I was greeted by Michael

He was absolutely amazing Even when we had an issue with our room he seemed to be the only employee who cared For the following night when our room was corrected he went above and beyond and truly made my family felt welcomedIf you are checking into this hotel and have an opportunity to be checked in by Michael know you are going to be in excellent hands and he is going to go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed

Very nice hotel Pool and hot tub indoors, room kept very hot Coin laundry very cheap

Nothing really near hotel except Red Lobster and Smokey Bones No breakfast Large pantry, items expensive Room fridge very tiny so really unable to stock and eat for cheap Stayed on business Not sure I’d pay that price for no breakfast and tiny fridge on a vacation

The room was very spacious, I took a room with double beds for my kids and myself It was clean, I really love the individually wrapped cups and overall cleanliness even though I take wipes to do a once over as well Tiny fridge but enough room to store leftovers

Quiet and peaceful area It was a really hot day so we used their indoor pool, it was fantastic There is also a hot tub available as well The staff was friendly and my stay was wonderful There are two restaurants in walking distance The Ronkonkoma train station is close by and it’s an easy jump to the LIE On site parking for a fee Small pantry area with plenty of stock

This place was clean and quiet, the beds were comfortable and the towels were normal size (lol) The rooms were not brand new but the beds were very comfortable and the TV was a 55 in (I have stayed at a few lately with itty bitty TVs and terrible cable service) Everyone who works there that I spoke with was extremely professional and friendly

I would say the only part that was weird was the way they had breakfast for sale items set up in the pantry To that same note, the pantry area was stocked extremely well compared to many other Marriott courtyards that I have stayed at recently I will definitely stay here again

This sprawling hotel / convention center is built for corporate gathering The space feels brand new and pristine complete with many conference halls, restaurant, and large bar/lounge room The rooms are modernly furnished with clean line furniture and very comfy beds

The bathroom are well lit with modern design The shower has very strong water pressure and good amenities Depending on the hours or traffic condition your are driving from Manhattan, it could take from 1 hour (normal traffic) to 2 hours (rush hours & highway accident) to get to this hotel’s location

My husband and I stayed at the Marriott Melville before and after our wedding at Westbury Manor and absolutely loved it Around 60 of our guests also stayed at the hotel and they kindly put the rooms together that we requested The rooms were super clean and well presented and the spacious executive suite was great for getting ready for my wedding! We also enjoyed having a farewell breakfast for our guests in the pretty atrium with lots of natural light

Friendly and helpful staff all throughout the weekend Highly recommend!

The staff here is great I helped my friends check in late Saturday night and there were at least a few people working the front lobby Natasha at reception was especially helpful, giving us all the information we needed

Check in was quick and painless (wish all places were like this) The room’s interior was classy and we were able to settle in without issue Thanks for the hospitality!

Sujil Maharjan

The rooms were okay Besides the bed, everything is an add-on even if you are in “The king suite” or the bridal suite was mediocre for the price

I only stayed here because the wedding venue next door provided these rooms for freeOne thing I was most annoyed of was their breakfast When we checked in, the front staff specifically said breakfast until 10:30 am I get there at 10:15 They had taken everything out and there was nothing to eat Apparently its only for the weekend They could have provided right information Hi had to leave hungry in the morning The rooms were mehh I’ve stayed at much better places for the price it was advertised in

RiggsYour LifeAway

I will never go there again Was in area for work and just needed to stay one night The room was out dated and just smelled old

There was a bug in my room and they had wires hanging (pictures) Was not comfortable sleep at all and I was charged extra $100 dollars on my bill Who really cares about anything else (service, food, etc) didn’t even try any of that if you have to sleep in dirty smelling room with bugs and wires all over why stay Don’t stay staying away!

Decent hotel I was there for work travel Asked for a quiet room on a high floor away from elevator bank and ice machines

They put me on the top floor but on the side next to the busy street and athletic fields which were quite loud at night I was also put in a room that had potential to be an adjoining room and could really hear my “adjoining” neighbor So I would say only 50% of my request was fulfilled Food and bar were decent but limited Hotel was very busy on the weekend and definitely much more quiet on weekdays No hairdryer in my room Had to ask for one Other guests varied – business travel people, wedding guests, athletic teams, people attending court nearby I will probably stay here again for business travel, but now know what to expect

Great hotel The staff was friendly professional and helpful Clean environment and laid out well

Place to drink and eat and relax Outdoor fire pit, good seating area Nice pool and fitness center Clean rooms The only item I can list was one coffee cup in the room for two adults That would not stop me from going back Great hotel

Brittany DeSalvo

The coolest mermaid-y hotel rooms in the Islip/Patchogue area with great decor Very spacious Mostly nice front desk staff, but the fact that they made us hunt down the luggage cart ourselves by getting off the elevator on every floor and searching for it at 1am (after calling an hour earlier to ask if it could be available when we arrived) loses them a star

They told us no promises because someone else could be using it (fair), but they didn’t say they’d make us go find it ourselves if a rude guest just left it outside their room!
