Could use a little update I didn’t have a charger block and because their lamps are from previous years my phone died Chair in our room had very noticeable upholstery damage and mattress while comfy where in need of replacement (springs were noisy)

Other than that room was nice and clean bathroom was in good care and staff was nice We had a nice view of the lake at the rear of the building and it was quiet, unless you don’t like hearing duck and geese (I do and it wasn’t excessive) Breakfast was still good and fresh at 9amGreat stay overall!

It all started before I even arrived Miss communication with booking and charged twice Front desk couldn’t explain charges and wanted my credit card again

Roomssmelled like wet dogs,Badly outdated (needs major update and repairs), room service had a 24 hour notice (which wasn’t told)Accommodationpool and hot tube closed (Memorial day weekend), gym was small, hot and nothing worked Over all this is the worst Holiday Inn Express my family ever stayed We stay elsewhere next we go to Wichita Falls

This was a wonderful experience overall Rooms were spacious and easily accommodated 5 adults and 1 kid The kitchen set up was well stocked and the fridge was a wonderful size to keep our ice chest goods cold and to refreeze our ice packs

The beds were comfortable and the sheets were soft The staff was very friendly and eager to help The free breakfast was one of the best I have had while traveling There were waffles and a pancake maker with lots of toppings Pastries, bagels, and several bread choices were available in addition to scrambled eggs, bacon, and crispy breakfast potatoes Breakfast sandwiches made fresh and prepackaged omelets were available for dining in or for grab and go Cooked oatmeal with toppings, cold chocolate and regular milk, and 4 juices were a great addition to a yummy breakfast The breakfast area was clean and well organized with efficient and friendly attendantsThere was also a 24 hour coffee and tea bar with cocoa for the kids Bonuses were that it is pet friendly and had a free filtered water station to refill water bottles We will definitely be back!

Currently staying here for 10 days Check in was easy Front desk staff very friendly

Rooms are decent, with dust in the corners and needing some grout work, but overall clean, very comfortable and well stocked Our AC stopped working on our 4th day and they promptly moved us across the hall Haven’t had the complimentary breakfast yet and parking is plentiful Also we found this to be a good location with short drives to shopping, restaurants, etc

Rich Williams

Extremely dissatisfied No room number or sign near door Significantly overcharged

Secured two queens and received one king Apparently given wrong guest’s room Canceled confirmed reservation Charged MSRP for stay after promised significant discount Paid 2x guaranteed rate Charged card multiple times without authorization Required me to speak in person at desk with management No concessions or apologies Told no other rooms available, found later that some were Fine accommodations, terrible management Numerous warnings from staff about booking with “third-party” service No points for stay received on account of confusion Great coffee and helpful maid service

Our room had a thick old smell of urine/vomit masked with cleaning products, there were visible stains in the carpet We also eventually found rat fecesWe tried calling the front desk but the phone was disconnected and not working

I’m not sure how well this room was cleaned before we arrived We tried to ask for a room change but there were none available Our family had another room that smelled just fine and appeared much cleaner but room 118 needs some work We pushed the dresser to the side and found a ton of dirty debris Who knows when the last time this was cleaned…We then called asking if a cleaning service was available but there was none, so we asked if they had any cleaning supplies or disinfectant and they only had a cup of fabuloso I might as well just swallowed it to numb my senses As we started trying to clean we noticed that there wasn’t just dirt… there were rat droppings all behind the dresser

I would give less than one star if I could! Do yourself a favor and read this review and the other ones! This place is absolutely disgusting! Our room was filthy! Curly black hairs on the bathroom counter, stained and sticky carpet, dirty and sticky bathroom floor, foul smell, something sticky and spilt on the shampoo bottle in the tub, chairs and tables and nightstand not clean and stained, door and walls look like they have never been wiped down, sheets and comforter that don’t come anywhere close to fitting the king bed, we were fighting with the sheets and blanket all night After traveling 13 hours we were exhausted and needed to get some sleep so we tried our best to deal with it Woke up to get back on the road, no hot water, and absolutely zero water pressure!! Went to talk to the front desk and was told they have a no refund policy! So if the owner has a no refund policy what incentive do they actually have to ensure their guests are safe and comfortable? Or that they have recourse when they find out that the hotel they stay in is disgusting? Look at the other reviews and you will see the same thing

You will also see the same template of a response from the owner, obviously showing they don’t care and won’t ever make any changes Filling a formal complaint with the corporate office to make sure they know what kind of property their company name is associated with! Now go ahead Mr/Mrs owner and give your template of a response where you take no responsibility…

Sylvia Naftchi

Words can’t describe the disgusting experience The room was dirty, hair in the shower wall and toilet seat stained Dirty sheet and a foul smell of cigarettes mixed with a dampness

After spending an hour on the phone with Hotwire attempting to get transferred to another location I was hung up on Then called the front desk and they couldn’t help This was at 10pm At midnight there was chaos in the pool until 2am and a dog left alone next to our room alone whimpering and crying until 4am I am exhausted and the front desk did Zero to help Stay away from this place Last time and never again

we walked in with no reservation and the gentleman at the front desk was so helpful and was able to get us a room right away! the hotel has a newer, modern feel we have zero complaints about parking, cleanliness of hotel and room and the breakfast is pretty good! hotel has an outdoor fire place and pool table/game area we would definitely stay again! location was also great

mshimazu2002

The hotel was nice and clean and very convenient with ample parking and EV charging stations for those that needed it The breakfast in the morning was really good as we had heard it was a continental style but they had waffle stations, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns and turkey sausage (first time having that and would definitely have it again) The rooms were well lit, clean, nicely styled and the bed and pillows were very comfy

The only thing keeping this from a 10 was that the water temperature was warm but not hot Will definitely stay here again although the shower was something we are hoping can be remedied

Ashley Paul

This hotel has been great for our week stay The front desk is super accommodating Breakfast was fantastic with so many options for my husband, myself, and 3 year old

The woman who works the breakfast is very sweet! Housekeeping is super polite & happy Every employee we’ve passed has said hello & acknowledged us The bathrooms are roomy Showers are big I love that they have black out curtains if desired My husband is picky about the comfort of his bed at hotels, but says he loves the beds The only downfall is that they don’t have a microwave in the room One is provided in the lobby with a pool table & a big selection of comfortable seating Just a little inconvenient, especially with 2 small children I have to take with me There’s a lake & paved walking trails behind the hotel so bring your walking shoes My son loved to feed the friendly geese! We also walked to Target from the hotel which was so convenient I’d definitely come back here & highly recommend it to others The upbeat staff has helped us enjoy our stay & Im so grateful!

Enjoyable stay Room was nice, comfortable and clean Beds and pillows were comfortable

The front desk staff were super courteous, thank you Isaiah for being so helpful Would have rated it 5 stars but the fitness room needs a little attention Both treadmills are working and there are free weights and a bench, but the bike has no foot straps making it not usable and the elliptical machine is actually broken Might need to put a sign on it for safety purposes But we had everything we needed to get a good workout If you don’t need those pieces of equipment in the fitness center, everything else was great! Will stay here again soon

Great service, Tre had some of the best customer service From the time we got here he has been wonderful to work with We even had a bit of a hiccup with the room and he was right there to take care of everything

Completely exceeded my expectations Thank you Tre for everything Marriott should take car of this young man, he has what every service industry needs Great job!

Be advised this is one of those hotels that doesn’t have duvet covers yet doesn’t wash the duvet between guests As evidenced by the crusted yellow stains I found on mine Disgusting

The shower caulking has also seen some significantly better days If you are a light sleeper ask to be put away from the elevators, they have a very loud chiming sound each time they open I stay in 1-2 different hotels per month in big and small cities and this is the first time I’ve been disappointed by a Marriott

The parking was horrendous with 3 hotels all together! On Saturday evening there were 7-9 large moving trucks, trucks towing trailers and motor homes each taking 6-8 spots each Leaving no spots for anyone else There is an adjacent parking lot that had a very large sign that stated NO HOTEL PARKING! Was not about to park there and possibly get towed! It was extremely frustrating! The hotel itself was nice and the lady I spoke with cleaning our floor was so extremely kind and happy!! She was the saving grace for this hotel

Shane Luckey

Surprisingly pleasant stay here We were exhuasted, heading home from a road trip (FL to CO) and very much enjoyed ourselves Room was mostly clean (there’s always a spot or 2 that’s missed) and quite a nice size, staff was very friendly and accommodating, coffee

the coffee was uuughThank you for good coffee We have 2 girls The coffee is a necessityBreakfast was much better than most hotels, eggs sausage, breads, cereal Only issue is the AC was funky and wouldn’t stay on No biggie

Angela Walker

Actually stayed at Tru I didn’t care for the fact that we were charged for the room upfront instead of at the end of our weekend stay Also, had to request for our rooms to be cleaned ie fresh towels and beds made

It was a real hassle Now, the breakfast was good and the kitchen staff was fantastic Front desk needs training in customer service asap

Fairly nice hotel Facilities are older, but in relatively good shape My only real complaint is that my room wasn’t cleaned very well when I checked in

The top of the headboard was dusty There were several empty plastic and glass bottles left in the room from the previous occupants The couch cushions seemed a little dusty and/or dingy For the price, it was worth it Just wish it was cleaned a lot better

Amy Wilkerson

Room was nice but it’s well over 100 degrees here and the pool is closed and drained which is not reflected on their website If it would’ve been known we would’ve stayed somewhere else They have a “sister” hotel that you can use their pool which means you have to drive there bc it’s not close, very inconvenient

Planned on spending some relaxing time at the pool with my daughter that’s in the Air Force, guess that won’t happen!!!

Clean rooms Comfortable Beds Fast WiFi

Affordable pricesUpdate: Great central location Close to Wichita Falls (10 mins), the Kiowa Casino (5 mins), and both Comanche casinos (5 mins) Less than 5 minutes from several fast food places (McDonald’s, Whataburger, Braums, Taco Bell, Chicken Express) It’s a mom and pop family owned small business It’s an ideal place for someone who is simply looking for a clean and cheap bed to spend the night in, so they can take the money saved and put it toward a fun day at one of the many nearby casinos

Nunya Jr

Very clean Room smells nice Nice owners

Would recommend to anyone and I’m sure will be staying here again if I’m in the area and need a roomEdit: I forgot to mention that it’s half the price of the big chain down the road and I feel as comfortable if not more-so than I think I would there It’s cozy here! And trust me, I’m not anti-bigchain necessarily — although I am all for small, local businesses that provide a good service And this place meets the criteria I’ll support them all day when I can!

charles bennett

I think that this is the worst motel that I’ve ever stayed at My room had bedbugs and when I lifted the mattress there was to needle syringes The linen were outdated and stained

I would recommend that anyone reading this not stay here with or without children At least until the county health board goes in to shut that place down and to rebuild a cleaner safer establishment

Nice stay, close to downtown, good hot water for the bath, nice view of the city from some rooms The African American gentleman at the front desk, I believe his name was Jerry, was incredibly helpful helpful and accommodating when I checked in at 6am way past no show time He went above and beyond, so kudos to the excellent service at this hotel

Also pet friendly Would highly recommend

erika Moradel

I really enjoyed my stay here I stayed 5 nights came to visit my husband at Sheppard AFB Our room was clean, customer service at front desk was great even offered to upgrade my room free of charge! My only semi complaint is the housekeeping ladies! I had asked them to please not come into my room at all and that if I needed something I would let them know! But they came in even with the do not disturb on the door

Took some trash (not all) threw away our leftovers And didn’t make the bed or clean the bathroom so I didn’t get what the point of coming in was! But other than that I really enjoyed my stay! Thank you huh for hosting my 5 nights in Wichita

Dennis Atkins

They do not serve any breakfast although everywhere they advertise says they do

You get what you pay for though There’s a reason the rooms are only $35 and honestly they’re not worth that SMHI have no idea what I was thinking From the start I placed drinks and bag on table with a bad leg causing it all to spill everywhere Beds were in no way going to be comfortable Had a light fixture hanging from ceiling over bathtub, no towel racks at all, so everything was just stacked on the back of the toilet The turntable in microwave doesn’t fit making it unstable to use as well Must have been a match set with the table This place could really use some updating, maintenance and care from it’s owner/manager After kicking myself for paying 2 nights in advance on Priceline I sacrificed the $70 and went to stay at the Best Western Plus Best decision ever and I will never make this mistake again

When I checked in, I asked if they could accommodate a ground floor room After searching three rooms on the ground floor for one room that was clean enough to allow for guests, none passed as they were all yet to be cleaned or were very substandard (this was late afternoon, no staff was still on site cleaning)The staff member on duty issued my original assigned room on the 3rd floor and upon checking in the room, it was filthy, clearly not vacuumed as the nail clippings on the floor attest to, the shower was filthy, with mold, pubic hairs, and half-used shampoo bottles

The worst was obviously the cloth chair, covered in stains and who knows whatAs I write this, I am starting to question why I even stayed one night We had to get sheets to cover the chair before even thinking about sitting on itI’ve been traveling for business for many years and quite honestly, this is one of my worst experiences in terms of the cleanliness of any facility Anything less than a refund is to me, unacceptableAfter two phone discussions and 6 emails, they first tried to give me rewards points that came nowhere close to a one night stay, then I had to send a copy of my current credit card transactions showing the room charge That was not good enough, they want me to wait until my billing cycle closes out then they want my FULL monthly credit card statement When I asked why, they cannot explain the requirement other than they need to make sure I did not get a discount or refund? So now I am dishonest? After getting nowhere with the customer service rep, I just told him to keep the money and that I would be sharing this experience so others don’t have to deal with this

Nice and clean rooms, had a few issues with lights not working in my room and the pool door was broken but the lady at the front desk got us a new room at no charge and helped us in the pool room after having to bother her like 5 times she was still very polite and attentive I will be checking out before breakfast so I can’t review on that Rooms are a little pricey but it is clean and nice looking

The hotel was in a great location It’s very accessable to the mall, numerous restaurants, movie theater and so much more The staff was very professional, helpful, friendly and inviting

The hotel was very clean, the breakfast was great and all in all it was very clean The one downside, and it’s a minor one, s that we were given a handicap room which was only a factor in the bathroom The shower head was adjustable and it was at waist level It was hard to keep it adjusted at the right height Great place to stay!!

Roary Lion

The Staff was amazing!! The breakfast was wonderful they had sausage and scrambled eggs plus juice!! The pool is open from 6am-11pm the water was warm and the pool was clean and the hot tub had bubbles!!! The shower in my room had two settings The bed was extremely comfortable Super clean rooms too

This place and the staff totally rock! We have a larger family with lots of ages and needs, the staff here is so sweet, fun, helpful and super kind Hailey, Adriana, Bailey, Ty, Josh, Dylan and many more have made this the best summer vacation for all our children! From everyday conversations, coloring contests and games to helping one of our children celebrate a birthday We love this staff! The facilities are always clean and well kept, office staff and other managers are quick to help remedy any issues the guest have to the best of their abilities

For instance, our a/c wasn’t working well in our camper but Hannah and John helped us solve the problem I’m so thankful for all the people here 🥰

Buffi Lake

I had the pleasure, while on a travel assignment for work to stay at the resort for a couple of months At times my family would come for a few days and we would participate in the activities The crew always accommodate all activities even if it was for just one of my kids

They interacted with all four and thanks to Hailee, Ty and Josh they got to squeeze in a round of Laser tag Thank you all for the job you do and interacting in positive/fun ways to make the time fun that we had here

vanassa travis

I can’t express how disappointed I am with this place and their lack of business etiquette We are booked to stay from June 10-13 the teenagers were super excited to get back on the Obstacle course they spent hours on last year, only to get the carpet pulled off from under them and us, especially when we asked for a refund and was told the $1300 we spent on Room and Golf cart, was NONREFUNDABLE! I did not read or see anything on the website that mentioned they no longer have the course and even when we checked in none of the staff mentioned it No wonder the girl who checked us in was super shocked when she found out we had teenagers because they had little baby bracelets ready for them, she probably knew that they wouldn’t have fun just swimming in a pool and looking at ducks and chickens! But she didn’t mention anything about it at all!! We have a pool at our house! We could have stayed home and saved the money! You would think that if one of your big attractions was closed down (just a patch of dirt now) that you would put it as a banner on your website for God’s sake instead of letting hardworking people who had to scrap and save (especially in this day and age) just to make this happen! We stayed Friday night only because we had already unpacked and the kids were already in swim gear to do the Obstacle course, but we checked out Saturday morning before 11am

That means we just threw away 2 days worth of fees just so this business can get another hard working person in our cabin and make even more money off the sweat of our backs!!

This is one of the best stays we have had for a while at any Hilton property The front desk staff was incredibly helpful The hostess for cocktail hour was the most genuine, funny, sweet, outgoing person we have come across

Micky (breakfast attendant) made our stay complete by keeping everything clean and well stocked, being so helpful and making us laugh and smile so much during our stay We would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the area!!!!

Overall, Hampton Inns are just getting older The rooms are decent, but the A/C’s always struggle I had to move rooms because the A/C went out

The A/C in the hallway didn’t even seem to be on at all and it was 84° in there The elevator rides fine but sounds like a garbage crusher, so a little scaryThe service however, is extremely good here They seem to care about your needs And surprisingly, the pool is operational at this location Though the whirlpool is not And there’s even a Happy Hour with free beer and wine, chips and cookies And if you’re looking for things to do or shopping, you can’t beat this location

Rundown hotel Ride staff members Asking anything from the women at the front desk would cause them to roll there eyes, and they would have to stop whatever they are doing on Thier cellphone

Every morning, outside the room I was in the staff would tell, joke, say horrible things about the patrons of the hotel While they all laugh it up Not many options in wichita falls, but I would really try to not stay here

Pros: The rooms are great Set up perfectly for a long or short term traveler The staff was friendly and accommodating

Easy access to highways and near by stores and food Rooms cleaned well once a weekCons: The common areas need work Sanitizer machines empty often, laundry room was always dirty Floors and around washers and dryers and trash cans all around site were not regularly taken out If they tweeked these small things, I would have given them more stars but I stayed for almost 7 weeks and did not see these things get corrected I know the government uses this hotel for its members and pays well Please work to correct in the future

Look, I did not have high hopes for this hotel because it was one of the last rooms I could find online and I haven’t always heard great things about this chain But I was blown away by how good my stay at this hotel was! The room was incredibly spacious, the kitchen was well stocked, and everything was really clean They are completely pet friendly and there was a great little side area to walk my dog

Additionally, the shower was nice and the beds were SO comfortable I was really impressed and recommend this to anyone, whether you need it for a longer stay or just driving through like we were
