What a fantastic resort! My family stayed in a 2-bedroom condo Mother’s Day weekend and we had a delightful experience The grounds are immaculately kept and the resort has great offerings We appreciated how helpful and kind the staff we’re

My only let down was the staff not being more forthcoming about the unlikelihood of early check-in I was traveling with my husband, dog, and senior citizen parents I was told I wouldn’t be guaranteed anything over the phone when I called days in advance, but it was also stated that they request would be made However, when I arrived I was told by a different person that early check-in is prohibited I would have planned our day differently had I knownOtherwise, we had a lovely stay and enjoyed the facilities! Meticulously clean units; would definitely pass a white glove test Comfy beds and pillows Beautiful scenery I hope to visit again in the future!

I was serving as a guest speaker for a leadership retreat hosted at this resort Over the years I have frequented here on various occasions This was by far the my least impressive stay

The quality and service is grossly overrated – I’m not sure if this is an aftermath to the pandemic or the lack of training the checking in-staff were nice & personable, even though they told me that the key machine was down & that they would get the room key to me later- I never received the key… the ground staff met me at the room whenever I needed to get in or else, I would make sure that I didn’t shut the door all the way ( definitely unwise) …The adjoining room were extremely loud with both a a large group in the room & outside the build talking loud until pass midnight I notified the front desk and they said they would send staff to speak to the group nothing happened at allDinner was alright, nothing to rave about at all fortunately, breakfast the next morning was excellent, until one of the untrained staff came in the dining area and started talking loud & saying that we sat at the wrong table and some other foolishness totally unprofessional & unacceptableI was not impressed at all with the overall resort service once again the leadership event was phenomenal, however the leadership of the resort definitely need to elevate its game and training

We just completed our stay at the resort and we were thoroughly disappointed in the amenities, service and pricing to say the least! My mother in law books a trip for our family of 25 every year and we have stayed numerous places for way less and much, much nicer with more than we could ever need! She rented 3 condos that supposedly sleep 10, but more like 6 adults and 4 kids would be more appropriate Additionally, they charged her 1400 per night per condo for 5 nights, so she spent 21,000 and technically we could have went somewhere much nicer, bigger and that included our trip there and back Insane and I truly think they have taken advantage of an elderly lady

And last but not least each night our family went to cook meals we had to borrow pots and pans from each condo to have enough to cook They provided us with 2 small skillets, 2 small pots and one baking sheet There was no can opener, no pizza cutter, only one dish cloth and dish towel Our bathrooms had one roll of toilet paper and one tissue box, which for a condo that sleeps 10 for 5 nights that’s hardly enough! When we called to get extra trash bags, dish cloths/towels, toilet paper etc no one showed We went to front desk to get and no one still came The next morning we called 3 times and finally after we complained the lady that answered brought it! I would rate the quality of the condos and mind you were had 3 of them as fair!! Not one condo had the appropriate utensils or amenities suitable for 10 people and the decor was nothing special! No where near as nice as we are used to!

Beautiful location, close enough to Williamsburg and Busch Gardens for both to be easily accessible The rooms are fine, not amazing but perfectly adequate Some wasted space and questionable design choices, like the master bathroom is huge for no reason and has only one sink, and the TV clearly ha sine of those clamp arms that would let it come out of the wall but it’s impossible to figure out

The room wasn’t quite cleaned when we got in, there was a mess in the fridge and ants in the master bathroom The pull-out couch bed is terrible Basically a graham cracker stretched over some metal poles That’s an exaggeration but not by a lot I might rather just sleep on the couch, come to think of it And the staff never answer the main desk phone for questions We had to badger and badger for them to bring us extra bedding for the pull-out couch bed Overall though, it’s a decent place Hard to argue with the price And the staff did stop bothering us about their time share once we told them we weren’t happy with their service soI guess that’s a plus?

Nice clean roomy bedrooms We stayed in a two bedroom two bathroomsKitchen was small but had everything we needed

There was 4 of us staying and had company with a total of 7 adults Not crowded at allSet up with 3 chairs and a couch Big table that set 6The finishing were of good quality and shape But looked like mid-modern that just misses the mark

Joseph Borowski

We stayed here for four days and we’re blown away Our living space was steps above any hotel we have stayed at and everyone had plenty of space to sleep and relax We had a minor issue with our fridge, however we called the front desk and someone came to fix it pretty quickly

We are definitely planning on staying here again on our next visit!

We stayed here for about 5 nights We loved our apartment It had a separate bedroom from the living room & Kitchenette area

Washer and dryer was in the bathroom as well as everything we needed to cook meals It had two TVs, one in the bedroom, one in the living room area We were extremely comfortable And we love that there’s lots to do in this resort They have huge life size chest and checker games on the property as well as mini golf They have a movie in the cinema every night as well as an arcade, indoor pool, outdoor pool and other activities We felt it was a nice central location to do a lot of different things We could travel about 30 to 40 minutes in any direction and be someplace cool and exciting We would definitely stay there again

Came here for a week vacation with my husband and three kids The two bedroom condos were comfortable and well maintained All the staff were friendly and helpful

We were here for about 6 days The rooms really need update/refurbishing, but the staff seems to make every effort to keep them clean I was double-charged the full price of our stay on check-in, but it was corrected within about a day

The toilet was aggravating in that it ran constantly, and didn’t flush properly The beds aren’t so great However, we did enjoy our stay, and the grounds and location do hold value It would’ve been nice if the restaurant were open, but the continental breakfast was always well-stocked The staff were all attentive, pleasant, and helpful Overall, it was a good experience for us, and is a great place for those traveling with kids and pets

The Hilton Garden at Williamsburg was just delightful! My interactions with the staff and associates was outstanding, they were all very friendly and accommodating The hotel is a bit dated, and there are some quirky nuances That said, I would definitely stay here again

There is plenty of on premise parking and the hotel is conveniently located next to everything The pool, hot tub and gym were all available 24hrs, and well maintained In my room, the blackout shades did not function and therefore the room was quite dark; hence 4stars not 5 The entire hotel is accessible and includes many amenities Breakfast is about $12 and is not included the cost of the room

Skylark Torch

The hotel is in good condition, clean and comfortable The wifi and TV works well THE STAFF are awesome

Loved talking to every person I met up front The lobby feels grand, they have made it cozy and impressive despite its small size The breakfast was delicious, top notch options Also quite enjoyed the clean pool & hot tub! Will stay again!

jenna cabigas

Had such a great stay More than exceeded my expectations The staff were super friendly and greeted us promptly at arrival

We had connecting rooms and they were updated and very clean The breakfast was amazing with great hot and cold options as well as made to order omelettes, French toast and pancakes The location of the hotel was great! Short 10-12 min drive to Busch Gardens, water country and colonial Williamsburg Walkable to many restaurants The gym and 24 hour pool and hot tub were well maintained and a favorite of my kids! The lobby is clean and bright! I wish I could only take off half a star, the only very small complaints that didn’t make it perfect is the hallways on the upper floors were hot and stuffy and had a wet carpet kind of smell, I think because there is a lack of ventilation there but the rooms were cool, bright and clean There is also no bathroom fans which make it a bit steamy in there The floors in the elevators should be replaced to some kind of hard floor not carpet bc it appears dingy and dirty None of those small details affected our stay and we would 100% return!

The rooms are large, spacious, and comfortably sleep 6, which is great for larger families like mine, since we can all fit in one room unlike many other hotels Pool and tennis courts were great, and having two sinks in the room was helpful The deck was large and relaxing

The rooms and the entire hotel in general, however, were outdated and could use some updating My biggest complaint is that there was hair on the blanket for the pullout couch and one of the beds, which was gross Overall, it’s reasonably priced and good for a one or two night crash but not recommended for a romantic getaway or longer vacation

Kenneth Labenski

The room we stayed in was quite large, which is nice when travelling with a family However it was a bit dated and could have used a refresh We stayed in a ground floor room with a walk out and we noticed several dead insects in the corners of the floor

The check in and check out process I feel could be streamlined as well But overall the experience was pleasant, the staff are all very friendly and helpful

Daniel W

Every staff person from checking to housekeeping was super friendly and made you feel welcomedThe rooms are a little dated, but the huge size more than makes up for it

Great location, close to so many things We had a 3 bedroom 35 bath

It was clean and well stocked If anything was missing, they made sure we received it quickly Some minor cosmetic issues like ripped carpet along doorway Kids enjoyed all pools and mini golf Honestly great for our group of 7 (4 adults and 3 kids) for 7 days/6 days! My only annoyance was the pushy sales to get you to attend a breakfast even though we aren’t interested in their timeshare as we were visiting from another one I was flustered and didn’t say no at first Came back later and asked to not participate The woman was rude and said “I told you it wasn’t mandatory” which is completely untrue When I gently challenged that, she said “I’ll cancel it” and grabbed the paper quickly out of my hand from across the desk Next time I will just say no from the beginning 🙂

Sheila Pritchett Murray

Upon check-in rep was apparently in a bad mood, didn’t make eye contact or greet us, spoke low and acted as if we were disturbing her Totally unprofessional! She wrote down the incorrect address to our cottage, (which we found out later), and you do not receive until check-in She didn’t inform us of the amenities or anything, as the rep next to us explained to his guests, which we observed while waiting

When I asked her about the amenities, she handed me a brochure and said, “You can read!” I said to her, seems like you’re having a bad day and she mumbled something to the effect, “I’m from Brooklyn” Then in a patronizing way, she said to me”Oh I’m sorry!”We found our cottage after going around the community a few times checking the door number on a few streets The one bedroom cottage with small kitchen, had the tiniest kitchen I’ve ever seen Didn’t know stoves this narrow existed The sofa was soiled with visible spots, just filthy and had to be covered with extra bed linen The red & gold patterned carpet was outdated and had seen better days The bathroom vanity was small and low, as was the toilet Way too low for my husband and myself The king size bed had only 3 pillows, 2 small pillows in king pillow cases with the cases folded down, and another tiny pillow in a standard case that didn’t fit either There were no luggage racks or any place to stack your luggage so we used one of the 3 kitchen chairs Everything needs a good thorough cleaning and updating Walls are scraped with marks, the shower rod is coming away from the wall, etc Nothing, I mean nothing, like the pics online This is one of the lowest points of accommodations of a mini-vacation we have ever experienced Won’t be back!

Ebony Chisholm

Place was cool, housekeeping missed a couple of spots that could’ve been cleaner but besides that it was a nice place to vacation The pools was great, the hot tub outside was out of order my whole stay, also when we went to play golf the lady said it was closed but we said there was people out there playing in she said they wasn’t supposed to be out there it should be closed even though it says for guest it’s closes at 10pm it was only 830pm, I didn’t like that

I can tell back in the day this used to be a good place for families and friends to stay The grounds looked amazing, and the pools, mini golf, etc, were in adequate condition; grounds were well maintained! Apparently, that’s where all their money goes though

The room my family and I had was unclean The first thing we did was CLEAN, the bathrooms, kitchen floor, kitchen, chairs ugh We clean like that at home, it was annoying Wish we could’ve cleaned the carpet because that’s where the stench was locked in they clearly haven’t changed that (or their dirty furniture) in over 20 years at the least The walls literally disgusting (a bug smashed on the wall in one pic and who knows what’s on the walls in the other one) The layout of the room was GREAT and the bed seemed clean and comfy Definitely barely 2 stars They need to update their rooms quickly if I ever stay here again

Deb Street

Enjoyed our stay at the resort It was early in the season so not crowded Weather did not cooperate with our trip

We did go to the pool every day Very few people there Played Putt putt on the course next to pool Ate at the little on site restaurant Food was good They serve alcohol to take to your room or the poolThe room could have been cleaned a bit betterThe view was of the pond with geese and ducks It was quaint, but noisy in the am!Would definitely recommend as a hotel choice for an area central to all the Williamsburg area has to offer

Michele Warch

The rooms are very spacious with plenty of comfortable amenities like a soaking tub, walk in shower, small washer and dryer The resort amenities are fun with a nice outdoor and indoor pool area, mini golf, several playgrounds, including adult’s only areas It’s nice for families

We had a few small problems (fire alarm from the downstairs guest burning food in their kitchen, our door lock had to be replaced on the second day) Otherwise, it was lovely Staff was always friendly and prompt

As a Hilton member I was very disappointed at this franchised HotelAlthough it was built in 2009 it look poorly maintained The moldings were obviously removed and not replaced, the wall paper was coming off in many places

The business center was not functioning and their was no hot water for 5 hours The furniture is very old and uncomfortable & the rugs needed cleaning But the bathroom was very cleanMy room was not ready until 4 hours past my check inThe breakfast was very basic the usual waffles, oatmeal cereal bread & eggThe day staff was very nice But my overall impression was very poor

Jennifer Maki

We were extremely disappointed when we found out that our two king bed rooms were smoking versus non-smoking We have an eight month old baby They were able to swap out one of the king rooms for a two queen bed room however we were still stuck with the one smoking room

So we ended up having to share the two queen beds We had just recently got engaged and were really looking forward to this trip We immediately expressed our concerns upon check in They also went and sprayed the one king room but the lady from the front desk refused to talk to us We would be grateful to talk to a manager regarding this We just don’t feel it is fair to pay for a room that we can’t be in

I have always wanted to stay in one of the Colonial Houses after many, many visits to Colonial Williamsburg over the years This trip I was traveling by myself and stayed at a room in the Market Street Tavern Perfect central location, charming Colonial style with a very high canopy bed! My air conditioning was not cooling fast enough and after calling Reception at the Inn- the repairman came immediately and resolved- Thanks Stuart! Check in at the beautiful Inn was done efficiently and graciously

I have loved the ambience of these Colonial houses and would highly recommend to others

Claire Shyu

We stayed at the Peter Hay Kitchen and it was overall a lovely experience The location was great, right in the middle of CW and you wake up to the sound of carriage rides – really feels like you travelled back in time Reasons it’s not 5 stars: bathroom of the house REALLY needs a renovation and bed was not so comfy to sleep in

Just feels outdated but not in a colonial way We barely fit in the bathroom which was fine, but the bathtub was clogged and lightbulb wouldn’t turn on on the first night so we had to call maintenance at 11pm Also the place can really use better directions for the guest It is really hard to get to at night

Janna P

Colonial Williamsburg is one of our favorite places to visit We have annual passes and we frequently stay there to spend holidays such as Thanksgiving and Easter This year, I rented one of the Tavern Rooms on Easter

We went on a late night Ghost Tour and returned to our room to find it was freezing cold The AC could not be turned down and it blasted directly over our bed We also could not turn it off We slept in our clothes and hoodies I grabbed the bathroom towels to put on the bed because there were no blankets in the closet and the “blanket” on the bed was thinner than a baby receiving blanket In the morning, my daughter was so miserable that we decided to leave our new Easter dresses in the suitcase and forego our visit to Bruton Parish Church for services We checked out and returned home We did tell them how miserable the experience was and that our holiday was ruined We will never stay at any of the official lodging again and just stay at local hotels We paid $300 to freeze

This is by far one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at for the price! The hotel has been redone beautifully when you walk in The rooms appear fresh and clean The pool is nice and the hot tub is wonderful

The breakfast and the woman in charge of restocking it were incredible! She kept everything restocked and was very proactive I wish the beds had been a little softer, but that may have been the specific room we were in That would be my only critique The front counter staff were excellent We would definitely stay here again!

I am currently staying here on vacation I’m super picky with hotels but this hotel is wonderful! The staff has been nothing short of amazing and friendly every time we see them! The rooms are spacious, clean and the beds are very comfortable The breakfast every morning is great! I love that they actually cook breakfast and have options

There is definitely something for everyone here It’s close to just about everything in Williamsburg, the location isn’t bad!

We chose this hotel based on the location, free breakfast, and positive reviews I was very happy with my choice and found everything to be wonderful! The front desk staff (morning and afternoon) were very welcoming, attentive, and helpful I find that when I am polite and respectful, I get the same in return

The staff working the breakfast were efficient, pleasant, and so hard-working to keep up with the hungry guests There were lots of choices on the buffet, and I’m glad I went downstairs early because it got very crowded around 8:15 am (weekday) Our room and bathroom were very clean The shower had great water pressure, and it was helpful to have both a microwave and fridge in our room The only room for improvement was the sleeper sofa mattress which was flimsy and uncomfortable All in all, this was a great stay, and I would recommend the Comfort Suites on Bypass Rd to anyone traveling to W’burg!

Very nice location and the staff was extremely accommodating First day of my arrival I didn’t have a chair for the desk in my room Chardonnay at the front desk immediately had one brought to my room

Breakfast was good and hot Nice selection too Chardonnay really made the stay worth while When I’m back in the area this will definitely be my hotel of choice Keep up the good work team and thank you for all that you do

Overall decent place to stay for the night with a fair balance of bad and good The room was quite spacious and included 2 queen beds, a mini couch, desk, and a mini fridge with a sink and microwave I was very impressed with the spacious room until I saw the bathroom where there was a lot of dirt on the floor

It was quite unsatisfying that they clearly neglected to clean the floor The hotel also had a nice pool and gym They even included a small breakfast, but most of the food was already prepackaged and processed The staff was friendly and the prices were reasonable Overall, I was very impressed with the spacious room and the amenities, but they need to clean the bathroom floor and include a better breakfast

There’s not much to complain about honestly It’s an all suite hotel with plenty of space in the rooms The furnishings are in great shape and are modern in style Everything was clean, the staff is friendly and responsive

Check-in could have been better but I’m sure it was just an off night because they got slammed all at once but didn’t miss a beat with resolving issues so for that I commend them Precious at the front desk is on it, she’s an excellent representative The other ladies and housekeeping are too The one thing I’d change if I had my say is to have a sliding door or something that closes off the sink/dressing area outside of the bathroom I’d stay again with no hesitation

Absolutely love The Manor My family and I stay here at least once a year and it’s always THE MOST incredible hospitality Maggie makes the best breakfasts (always worth waking up for) and it’s just such a nice location with plenty to do

It’s called THE Williamsburg Bed and Breakfast because everything else is just a cheap copy Also if you’re good they’ll let you hold one of their chickens out back!

House was quaint and decorated very nicely, and the snack selection available anytime in the kitchen area was very good We didn’t stay for breakfast the next day but a fellow guest said they stayed there before and the breakfasts were wonderful The only negatives were: Although we were told we might not be greeted and keys would be left for us, in the one day we were there we never saw a host

The rooms aren’t labeled so finding your room is an adventure Although our room was equipped with grab bars in the shower, the toilet was very short and very small Definitely could use a chair height toilet

My family stayed at the Williamsburg Manor B&B during my wedding weekend, and they haven’t stopped talking about their experience since My wife and I live blocks from the Manor, so we know the building well But my family staying there really opened our eyes to how charming the space is, with an amazing location mere feet from Colonial Williamsburg and William & Mary

But what really set the space apart was the experience that the owners provided for my family and our wedding guests, as we hosted our wedding reception outside on the Manor lawns A wonderful place for an intimate gathering, with lovely decor inside and outand the food provided was incredible My father-in-law still talks about how the the brunch served the following day after the wedding is one of the best brunches he’s ever had If you can impress a father-in-law, you know you’ve done something rightA must-stay for visiting Williamsburg during special occasions, and a must-book for private parties & gatherings (or if you just want to impress your father-in-law)!

Had an excellent 5 night stay on July 4th weekend, and special shout out to Cathy and the breakfast bistro staff for such exceptional service, and the food was good too Check-in was smooth and front desk was always very courteous and professional Indoor/outdoor pool was nice and hot tub was a nice bonus

Fitness room was kinda small but got the job done

Nikea Benedetti

The rooms were greatly accommodating and clean! No complaints except they didn’t have free breakfast I loved the market place and bistro though very much a plus I also loved there indoor/outdoor pool it had an amazing hot tub too

I booked a single room with double beds but they were all booked up when I came to chec-in However, the gracious front desk clerk gave me a great deal with no extra cost to it She gave us a room that was next door each other so we had two rooms under one amazing deal! I thought that was very kind for her to do knowing I had my nephew, cousin and sister with me The other room even had a balcony! Loved it The stay was very comfortable next time I come up to visit Busch gardens or stay just in general in Williamsburg, I’ll definitely choose this hotel to lay my head at Just update the breakfast selection if it’s not going to be free 💙

RUPERT II

It was ok The hotel was clean and basic Nothing fancy but nothing broken

The tv was very outdated and the cable was awful There wasn’t a tv guide There were digital and analog channels that you had to click through The tv was a 32 thick LG flat panel The bed and pillows were comfy The blinds had slight stains on them but not too noticeable! The carpet was clean! Not worth the high price $190 per night but recommend if you are going to be in and out It’s good for a good night sleep and to get ready for a full day outside the hotel! Lobby looks awesome!
