The room was spotless The beds were very comfortable The kitchen had everything you’d need to prepare a meal (I didn’t use it except to make instant noodles, though)

The room was just pretty modern in general Breakfast tasted normal The staff was friendly The pool was a little small, but it was warm and clean I didn’t go to the gym, so I can’t say anything about it However, the location wasn’t the best Most of the landmarks in Boston are pretty far away

Kelly

Our 4 night stay has been amazing, we leave tomorrow and it’s sad to have it end Breakfast was great every morning, the room is spotless, valet is quick, housekeeping is friendly, and the view is breathtaking (Room 851 is magnificent)! It’s so close to everything you could want to do in Boston This place helped make our trip to Boston awesome

Deborah Raskin

Beautiful hotel, rooms are nice Sheets on the bed are too small, they keep sliding off, very annoying But bed is comfortable and pillows are good

The main area is cold with the exterior door opening at the same time the interior door opens, so bring a sweater to breakfast The food is good, coffee is hot and all the staff was terrific, very helpful and kept everything full and tables cleanIf you like to work out, the gym is fully equipped and very clean The pool is very small so during a busy time it’s more a place to lean against a wall, not to swim for exercise The valet parking is good, all valet staff we dealt with were very nice The drop off area is poorly designed, too tight High chance to bump into another carUber service in the area is terrific, thanks to all the guys for the timely pick up and drop offWe will return to see some more of Boston in warmer weather Thank you to all staff at the hotel

The location was amazing – centrally located to everything we wanted to do on our trip The hotel was clean and modern, although I wish the lounge would have been open because it looked like a really cool place to hang out If you want to sleep in, you’ll want to bring an eye mask, as there are no black out curtains or shades, and the thin bent metal mini blinds do nothing to keep out the light

Otherwise a very nice stay

This place was great 4 of us girls came in to town for 1 night to see the New Kids at TD Garden We got a 2 queen bed room with Atrium View

Room was Huge and had a HUGE Mirror which was unexpected and awesome for 4 girls getting ready Check in was easy, the gentlemen who checked us in was the manager I believe, super friendly and accommodating They have old school actual keys which was fine, they got us in the room! Location was awesome This hotel is very close to the Aquarium No bar or restaurant open right now but there are plenty of places to eat, get a drink, shop, Quincy market is right there As far as parking, I booked a parking spot online ahead of time for $34 in a garage around the corner Sure that might seem a little pricey for less than 24 hours but a small price to pay to know that my car is safe and that it won’t get towed Hotel and Boston itself is great, SO clean, a totally different, warm welcoming vibe, than say compared to NYC GO and Stay here, I know I will be back

Ali B

We couldn’t have asked for a better location or a nicer room Gorgeous room with large windows Overlooking the waterfront and the granary

Walking distance to everything Comfortable bed, spacious shower with super hot water (not tepid like some other places) The hallways reminded us of a maze We loved our stay here Hopefully we can stay here again on our next visit

I really enjoyed this hotel! The foyer was super nice and stocked with bars, a shop, a starbucks and a breakfast space It had several big conference rooms that served the purpose for our meeting, and the lunch they served for us was always tasty! The rooms were very standard though Like always there was an old carpet on the floor, and the bathroom had a shower curtain instead of glass, etc

Not bad, just basic I will say that the bed was extremely comfortable though!Overall the hotel was really good, just needed some updating in the rooms for it to really become that 5-star experience

Erin Valtinson

Room had a great view and the bed was fairly comfortable The bathroom also had a nice mirror and a waterfall shower Could tell some areas hadn’t been cleaned well in a long time (crumbs and grime), and there was no microwave in our room which is weird for a 4 star hotel in my opinion

If you’re sensitive to dryness and staying for more than a day or two, bring a portable diffuser or humidifier My room was incredibly dry to the point that both my roommate and I would wake up with coughing fitsThe food and access to other areas of downtown Boston is great, but be prepared for food and drink to be on the higher side of a price range Most of the restaurants and bars are expensive The Birch down in the lobby had good food, drinks were hit or miss and overpriced for what you were getting The pub restaurant has a great chowder and chopped salad that I highly recommend

Aina Ramanantseheno

Great experience during our stay here I wish they’d add a microwave oven in the room The hotel is located near many amenities and restaurants and close to waterfront which was great to walk around

Staff was friendly, room was clean and we could check-in earlier than expected which was appreciated Breakfast was included in our package and it was delicious (go before 9am if you can to avoid the lineup)The only thing is the parking situation, we were lucky because we got there early and there were still a few spots left but I wouldn’t advise going in and out once you’re in because it was full and you’ll need to use valet parkingBut overall great stay!!

We stayed very briefly overnight after arriving on a late flight Used the app for check in and mobile key, so we didn’t even have to stop at the desk on our way inThe room was clean and well kept

Beds were comfortable Had a small mini fridge that we didn’t useWe stayed on the top floor, which was fun for my kids The view is not that great since it’s a fairly industrial areaWe left the next morning and didn’t get to try the restaurant or other amenitiesOverall very happy with our experience

Don’t forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking your hotel This web site will compare thousands of hotel sites and typically will have rates much cheaper compared to others! You’re welcome :)! This resort is one of my favorites in this area

I have been staying here for a long time If you stay for a few days you won’t regret itParked and Stayed before flying out of Logan Despite being a Marriott Bonvoy Member there was a daily charge for parking on top of the room rate – however it was affordable ($15/night if room is purchased with points or $25/night if purchased cash or card, with the first day and last day of parking being free) The shuttle to the airport is frequent, clean, and the driver was helpful with baggageIt’s nice to have a breakfast restaurant, dinner option, and bar all on site

Nic with No K

Very convenient hotel with large conference rooms that was perfect for a work trip The area is not very walkable which is to be expected as this is advertised as an airport hotel, however I was able to walk to some stores in the area as well as Constitution BeachWe had food catered in from the hotel / restaurant each day and the light breakfast options and variety of different lunch options over the week were all quite good

Staff was friendly and accommodating The shuttle runs to and from the airport about every 20 minutes so it is easy to get to and from without a car I was impatient and took a Lyft from the airport to the hotel upon arrival and that was only about $15 or $20 if you’re in a hurryRooms and showers st the Courtyard branded properties are always quite nice, clean, and spacious One downside is that the Courtyard properties don’t have a microwave in the room by default I’m told you can request one but haven’t ever tried They do have a mini fridge in the rooms as well as ice makers and buckets for ice in the rooms but it’s a bummer when you have the munchies at midnight and can’t make a quick snack in your roomBonus: there’s a dispensary across the street and it is technically walkable to get there but you either have to go left down the sidewalk as you look at the dispensary from the hotel main door and cross at a very sketchy pedestrian crosswalk with no flashing lights and hope that some kind citizen let’s you cross, or you have to walk about a quarter mile to the right until you come to an intersection, cross 2 streets and double back down the opposite sidewalk Not that I’d go to a dispensary on a work trip

My husband won a free night stay from the Boston Boat show and we knew we would have a “nice” night However, we could not have had a better experience and enjoyed a fantastic night away Check-in was easy and welcoming, with a bottle of wine and some treats left in our room

The Room was beautiful, spacious, and the view was outstanding We grabbed a quick dinner out and rushed back to the room to enjoy our room It was a scorching, summer night (the best kind) but the gorgeous deck overlooking the marina and the sea breeze made it the best location to enjoy a glass of wineThe comfortable bed and cool room temp made for a great night’s sleep and the delicious breakfast, brought to the room and enjoyed on the deck, topped off the wonderful stayI can’t recommend Boston Yacht Haven Inn any higher, this is a special place!

I’m SHOCKED at how good this hotel is! We had a stop over in Boston for 1 night so we booked here for a quick and cheap (about $140/night) hotel that offered free airport pick-up/drop off They picked us up within 20min of calling for a shuttle from the airport Check in was easy and reserving the next morning shuttle to airport was quick and painless

The basic room is beautiful with a full kitchen! The cherry on top was how FANCY the FREE breakfast is the next morning! Quiche, scones, breakfast sandwiches, fresh fruit, oatmeal with 20+ topping options I couldn’t believe it! I have stayed in many hotels over my years traveling and this is by far the best breakfast I’ve seen! Overall worth every penny and if we ever have a stop over here again we will be back!

Rebecca Landeros

Arrived in Boston at 11pm and the hotel shuttle driver was very kind and waited for us at the airportThe rooms are smaller than most TownePlace hotels The sofa bed was horrific

so very uncomfortable!! The regular bed was comfortable Most of the staff was very sweet and kind The lady working front desk when we arrived was either very tired or impaired because she wasn’t making sense Lucky the young guy working with her handled our check in Breakfast was not good One morning breakfast was a microwaved bean & beef burritoNOT my idea of breakfast Cocktail hour was good cocktails were priced fairly and bartender was niceI travel often and stay only at Marriott properties and I would Not stay at this hotel again I’d pay more for a better hotel

We stayed for 7 days and the vibes of the hotel was amazing! The housekeeping staff was some hard working ladies The front desk staff was just as amazing! The rooms was a little small but it worked since we didn’t spend to much time in there anyways The conspire in the lower level was my favorite spot to be in, if I wasn’t out on the town! If I am ever back in the area Revolution will be the hotel I stay in

Rachel Morrison

Had such a great time staying here for our anniversary weekend! The hotel is so fun, the staff so kind and helpful, and they also have a delicious coffee shop right at the front for easy breakfasts It’s easy walking distance to so many things, especially the Boston Common, and is in such a beautiful neighborhood They also left a bottle of wine and a note in our room – Which was so thoughtful! 🙂

Justin Downs

Rooms are very small for the bed size/floorspace ratio, even considering the shared bathroom-block concept Design and accoutrements add a level of comfort and thoughtfulness, but some material choices are low worry and feel cheap Lobby design and decor however are impeccable and pay homage to the building and the area’s history

Also the private bathroom units within the shared washroom spaces are very welcoming and provide the privacy level on par with any included in the bedroom spaces, even while being non-traditional concept

First the parking I don’t agree with paying that much for parking on top of the room We did 50

00(per day) valet parking since it made more sense When we booked the trip this parking fee was not mentioned Which was an unexpected expenseThe sheets had holes and stains The computer chair in our room also had white stains… wall paper was peeling all around the hotel Shower curtain was kinda gross looking The towels were rough and seemed cheapValet was sleeping in the office when we came down to get our car, had to tap on the window to wake them upThe harbor view mostly had construction and city views not much of the harbor even though we should’ve had a harbor viewThe rooms do connect here so you will have an extra door in your room Which we didn’t like for many reasonsI will not be Recommending this hotel to anyoneI did like the App which was easy to use

S F

Check-in could have been better We had requested a feather free handicap accessible room, but ended up having to choose between one or the other at check-in We chose the accessible room since one person traveling with us uses both a walker and wheelchair

The room was not as well laid out as most accessible rooms we have stayed in have beenThe main issue was the constant reek of pot during the entire stay We we’re traveling with two children and reported the issue right after check-in The entire facility is supposed to be non-smoking but the entire hallway on our floor was disgustingly thick with the stench of pot the entire stay even after multiple calls to the front desk and speaking with security It was all day long and nauseating On our last night there, the hotel offered to move us to another floor, but it was 5:30pm on our last night and we were about to leave for dinner so spending the 30-40 mins it would have taken to move everything wasn’t feasible at that pointThe best part of the stay was the Starbucks in part of the hotel The staff of that facility was amazing They handled insane crowds and groups efficiently, pleasantly, and quickly

Dianna Stampfler

Selected this hotel due to its proximity to the harbor and lower cost (than other properties), using my AAA discount Just prior to arrival, I read several negative reviews and was nervous about what to expect at that point Yes, our views of downtown also show a lot of construction — but that hardly is the hotel’s fault

Valet was $50 per nightjust $11 more than self-park per nightso in the big scheme of things, not so bad Comparable with other larger cities Room was spacious, bed and sheets were comfy, shower was great (solid pressure and good heat), and the AC was able to cool the room down (some hotels limit this to 65 degrees) Someone also mentioned that the room wasn’t made up by housekeeping daily – and I’m not sure how it is in Boston, but everywhere we’ve traveled since March 2020 has limited this due to COVID (less contact and reduced staff) Prices in general on the east coast are higher than the Midwest (where we are from) but this hotel is comparable in price to what is charged in Grand Rapids or Detroit (Michigan)

We booked a room with a king bed, and when we got there, they gave us a queen and had NO alternatives That meant two adults and a baby had to work with a queen-sized bed They also didn’t update their google listing, so the “free breakfast” actually wasn’t a thing

They did give a refund, but because they were transitioning to long stays rather than a quick stay like we did, I think they could care less about our stay I definitely recommend that people are cautious about using this company To book a king room and then not give it is unprofessional, no matter the excuse (We ended up taking a refund and booking elsewhere)

Robert Schlosser

The room was oppressively hot and the windows opened 6 feet above the floor, so a fan was useless The neighboring house had a window that looked directly into the room, so the blinds had to be kept closed, further decreasing any type of breeze The location was very close to the beach, bus stop and excellent restaurants

Requested linen service took overnight for one issue, due to the fact that only one person or housekeeper was in attendance The bed was fairly comfortable, but this was probably one the most unpleasant hotel experiences I’ve had in a very long time

Dawn Palmieri

I had stayed here over the weekend and will not go back

we were excited to get a partial kitchen But we were not given any towels AT ALL no hand towels, no bath towels, no tissues There was literally 2 sheets of paper towels on the roll When we addressed this they did bring us 2 bath towels, but nothing else What little dishes we did use we had to leave in the sink due to no way to wash them properly We were on the 1st floor and you could hear people in the halls and other rooms all night long Also, there is absolutely no parking the parking lot in the google photos is not for guests and you will be towed if you stay thereOn the plus side it is only 1 block from the beach, so that was perfect, but in the future we will find someplace else to stay

Overall, comfortable beds and a clean room I liked that the rooms can accommodate a bigger family and the location was walking distance to the car rental place Parking at the hotel is $60 night valet only (no other options) so plan your car rental around that

Breakfast was so elaborate I questioned if it was free- it was! It was amazing for everyone but me I have an egg allergy and like most hotels, not much was labeled But there were a few items that were clearly safe so I was able to eatThe elevators are pretty busy so expect to wait a bit

Great hotel near the airport – stayed here the night before my wedding and staff was so friendly, even let me use their kitchen for my cheese platter Starbucks downstairs is a big plus and so convenient! I stayed in the Executive Suite and it was lovely – big dining area which was perfect for hair and makeup, and a separate bedroom was great for privacy Loved the natural l light and big windows

Only minus was the $60 Valet parking with no option for self parking That was a big detraction from the experience but overall no complaints about the service and room!

I traveled to Boston for the first time 5/12 /22- 5/16/22 This was a very nice hotel First of all, the location was great – close to the airport and Transit station

Additionally, the hotel provides shuttle service to the airport AND Transit stationSecondly, the FREE, daily breakfast was great! The variety of food offered was restaurant quality – we ate breakfast everyday! (The afternoon happy hour was not worth it)Thirdly, the hotel staff were great – we had no issues at allFourthly, they do have WC accessible shuttles but 2 were not working so make sure they send a working one to pick you up (You’d think this is a no-brainer but on two different occasions, I had to wait for them to return w/a working WC accessible shuttle)Things to consider: Valet parking ONLY at this hotel @ $60/dayYou must request for your room to be cleaned dailythey don’t automatically provide this service

What a unique (and frankly romantic) experience for myself and my boyfriend We wanted to make a pitstop in Boston on our way to Portland, Maine and thought this would be a fun location to stay We were not disappointed! The staff was super helpful and very polite

We loved our stay on the sailboat The room was nice and felt very cozy The marina itself is super quiet and has a beautiful view of the USS Constitution and harbor Stay here if you want a fun and unique lodging experience!

We spent four nights aboard the Port houseboat What a great place to stay! Melissa and the rest of the staff are friendly and helpful This is a very small guest room but the addition of both the covered and uncovered decks make it seem much roomier

The double bed is super comfy and being on the water rocks you to sleep! This is a great location for visiting Boston as you can walk to many attractions The USS Constitution is just up the street and you can see the historic boat from the end of “your” dock Included with the stay are breakfast coupons for the bakery across the street and some other discounts for a few local restaurants Would absolutely stay there if we visit Boston in the future and would recommend Bed and Breakfast Afloat to anyone planning a holiday to Boston! Loved it!!

My wife and I spent three nights on the Rozinante When we first got inside the cabin, we noticed that the place was a bit shabby and didn’t feel clean, in fact it was down right dirty There was also a strong sewer smell, which kept coming and going throughout our stay that would wake you from your sleep

We reported this and staff did try to fix the problem, but the smell came back My wife was able to use the shower on our first day with no issues But when I tried to use it the following evening, the sump wasn’t working and the water wouldn’t drain properly So, we were told to use the clubhouse shower There was a black mildewy mold substance around the hot tub that wiped off when I touched it Improve cleaning protocol and make sure sump system works properly Not worth $300 per night We stayed here because we are in the market for a sailboat but was a disappointment Also, twice late at night when we were sleeping, someone would sneek on the boat, this was really weird We even put the cable up every night so this wouldn’t happen Lots of improvement needed

Our stay at the Green Turtle was outstanding! As mentioned before, Jon and Karen make the experience one to remember They are so kind, helpful and thoughtful that you feel like family Our floating cottage was well appointed, stocked with snacks and beverages, great coffee and half and half, plenty of towels, blankets, etc

Jon was our go to for any and all things Boston We texted or saw him each day and told him what we wanted to do and he perfectly orchestrated it Telling us how to get to the free shuttles, where to eat, what times buses/trains ran You name it, he knows it! We stayed 5 days and went everywhere from Salem to Cambridge to Foxboro I can’t say enough how comfortable we felt during our stay and getting around the city I knew if we got stuck, we would just call Jon We highly recommend staying in the Green Turtle It’s a fun floating experience with great views We also loved being rocked to sleep by the gentle waves as the boats came in and out of the marina

We had a great stay at the Green Turtle II From the very beginning, Karen & Jon were so helpful, patient, warm & accomodating with our arrangements As noted in other reviews, upon arrival we were greeted at the pier gate by Jon, who directed us where to park and ferried our luggage to the boat

From there on out, we just kept noticing and appreciating all kinds of details that really made our stay enjoyable!First – the boat – more spacious than we expected, with 2 Queen beds AND 2 bathrooms It is decked out in teak wood throughout, and had plenty of outlets for our various phones and wifi The kitchen was stocked with Peets coffee AND both milk and Half& half in the fridge – key! Jon & Karen also stocked the kitchen with some snacks, yogurts and juices which we thoroughly enjoyed And when i saw the dedicated ice maker, i knew we would have everything we needed! With the good weather, there are also plenty of ‘spaces’ on the boat – we hung out on the back top deck, the front deck, the captains seat, (and i dont know the right terms) the coffee/sunrise deck – we could be as together or apart as we felt like, all on that yacht! The hosts – After a brief tour/how-to of the boat, Jon let us get settled: both he & Karen were so helpful but kept a great balance of being available without being intrusive Jon & Karen seem to be pros with the thoughtful details included on the boat On top of that, they did everything they could to ensure we had a great stayThe breakfast – COVID has required a continental breakfast, but the muffins & bagels, were prepared carefully (bagels toasted and foil wrapped)The location – Charlestown Marina, gated to both cars, and again gated to walk to the boats so we felt very comfortable and safe The harborwalk was also really enjoyable – we ventured off the path to go to Bunker Hill monument & Brewer’s Fork (great pizza!) but there were a few restaurants right off the harbor path as well The USS Constitution was also a quick walk, and we enjoyed the cannon at sunset (suggestion from Karen)Finally, even within the marina – there was plenty of room to walk around, and the views from the boat and around the marina were beautiful – especially at night with the city skylineOverall, this was a great, unique, fun place to stay A blast and we would do it again! Highly recommend!

Such a great experience! The Marina was so quiet and relaxing The views of the harbor was stunning I cannot wait for my next trip back to Boston to stay here

Jon and Karen were amazing! They served a home cooked breakfast to our door and it was absolutely delicious They were so hospitable and helpful They made sure we knew where shuttles, ferries, and other modes of transportation were (they were all within walking distance) and it was perfect!

Hotel is in a great location on the north end, all of Little Italy is walkable Toilet had same kind of door as the shower, only matte so you can’t see through, but you get no privacy if you’re noisy and someone else is in the room There was a speaker in the bathroom, so the tv was really loud in there, but not in the room

The coffee machine was really loud, sounded like it was about to die, but the coffee was good The service was exceptional, everyone was so nice and helpful The best part, it was quiet either people were quiet or the walls/doors were really good, because I slept uninterrupted It didn’t hurt that the bed was wonderful I would’ve given it 5 stars except for the strange bathroom Also, fun that we could see the Constitution from our room

John and Jody Vossen

Overall the places was fantastic My wife and I don’t usually spend this much money on hotels, but we took a special trip It was very nice walking in to a hotel room that screamed CLEAN

It felt brand new and well kept The location in the North End was perfect for hitting a lot of historic places on the Freedom Trails and for walking around the various streets just taking in Boston The only thing I wish we had was a fridge

Okay, I’m about to have a blast in this review So I’m a bit late in writing this, but better late than never I guessIn August of 2020 my wife and I were on our honeymoon staying at The Inn at Crystal Cove (now closed 🙁)

We had intended on eating at a couple of different restaurants, but seeing that we were mid-pandemic, a large majority of them were closed But you know what wasn’t? That’s right, you guessed it, the Winthrop Arms Hotel & Restaurant So we spontaneously showed up and were greeted by a very upbeat gentlemen I am assuming was either the owner or GM Let’s call him Mr Owner We were seated and looked through the menu for a bit, the nice waiter came by and took our order, I ordered the Lamb Chops and my wife ordered the Mixed Green Salad So here’s where it gets fun… while awaiting our order Mr Owner proceeded to walk by ALL of the tables and offer them a bite of the Lamb Shank that he was proudly parading around the restaurant I didn’t end up taking a bite, regretfully so, as I write this Mr Owner then sat down at a table across the restaurant with a family, and ate whatever was left of the community Lamb Shank on his plate We then received our order I was 3-4 bites into my delicious Lamb Chops when Mr Owner proceeds to point at me from across the restaurant and yell (in all caps) “HOW DO YOU LIKE THOSE LAMB CHOPS?” I gave him a thumbs up and smile because they were indeed fantastic, as was my wife’s salad All while we were eating, Mr Owner went around and greeted every — single — table — in the restaurant, like they were family That’s not even the best part That came when Mr Owner gave us a complimentary dessert, for literally no reason because we definitely did not tell him we were on our honeymoon And the dessert was outstanding, it’s not on the menu but I think it was an apple dumpling of some sort So, suffice it to say, we got a delicious dinner, dessert, and a show (from Mr Owner)My wife and I still talk about this place and how when we come back to visit Boston, we WILL be back And maybe I will try that Lamb Shank this time Cheers!

Four years ago I sauntered into the lobby of the Winthrop Arms hotel and was immediately transported to 1916 by the timeless decor of the lobbyAn immediate sense of history amazed me like going to an antique shop that was still actively functionalI was greeted with” Hi doctor” by a man who radiated genuine charm

This guy is the owner Dave who I found out later is the legendary owner A thought occurred to meThis is either a Sixty Minutes or a Sunday morning storyThe dining room is even more spectacular but the oak refrigerator Dave ressurected is the focal point in my opinionService was great and the Doc’s chicken pot pie is the signature dish fine dining with a taste of early nineteenth century interior design at no extra chargeFive stars across the board

While the hotel, aesthetically, is very beautiful that’s where the positives endsThe EV charging station is nonfunctional and has been for months: they have no intentions of repairing it either They’re still fine with charging you $15 for parking however

Classy Check-in was at 3 and only one room was ready, forcing myself and my guests to move around our plans to accommodateWhile I previously have had nothing but overwhelmingly positive experiences staying at Homewood Suites this experience was far from that 5 star hotel, with 1 star service

Varrun Phanda

Clean hotel and roomsGood amenities – Free breakfast, Gym, swimming pool, PAID parking($15)Breakfast is really nice with good options for vegetarians as well – Veggie patty, Breads, Bagels, Oatmeal, Oats, Juices, Fruits, Coffee etcCons: Location is isolated and not good for nights And location not that good for travelling to downtown or other Boston tourist places The station is little far – you have to park your car at station or take uber

Nicole Aljets

Booked this hotel online for an overnight stay in Boston Front desk staff very rude and inconsiderate We turned around and walked back out and booked our stay somewhere else

We have stayed in Hilton’s for years and this was by far one of the worst experiences we’ve had Looking at other reviews, I see we’re not alone Two pieces of advice: #1 Don’t stay here #2 If you do stay here and have a bad experience, definitely take the time to let Hilton corporate know what a horrible representation this place is of the Hilton brand
