It’s not a hotel, it is a motel The place is extremely outdated, rooms don’t have pressure in the shower or exhaust fan in the bathroom so it is always wet The room didn’t have a mini fridge! Unbelievable! Breakfast in the hotel was expensive and disgusting

On a positive note, the location is nice, it has a parking, and the pool is decent if you are looking for motel quality, this may just work out for you

This place is beautiful and great; we absolutely love it However, a huge drawback is that when you need to contact them you have to leave a message and wait for them to call you back They don’t answer the phone as you call

It can be frustrating when you need an answer relatively quickly Since a non-refundable deposit is immediately charged, it’s a nightmare when you need to cancel or modify a reservation: they have your credit card, and you already lost the first night deposit This is specially frustrating when you live outside PR and going in person is not possible

The pictures of this place are beautiful (and the outdoor areas truly are) but the accommodations are less polished Our room smelled like puke and was loud all evening from the music of the bars nearby The staff were professional but not especially friendly

We needed a place to stay for a night after our boat tour and found this to be an adequate option One big plus is that they have a reserved parking lot right next to the building, so it removes the need to fight for parking downtown Plenty of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance

Overall, we had a good stay Our room faced the city so we were able to enjoy the sunrise Rooms were neat and bathroom was clean

The food menu is limited and the hotel is dull when it came to decoration The casino was more vibrant than the hotel The pool was area was nice and has a very nice ocean viewHowever, the hotel is going through renovation hence hope that it will add more vibrant/tropical themed decoration

LaToya Pierce

The hotel itself was nice and great pool and ocean view The house keepers were very nice they came everyday to check and see if I needed services The hotel staff mike was very rude at check in I have status for one was not greeted as normal for my status

I had a voucher for breakfast when I asked where breakfast he snatched my card back and said oh breakfast not included with your stay I told him I called and my package it was included he said Talk to my manager in the morning I told him that was rude he should not have just snatched it from me he was like I’m just doing my job I was upset but I did tell the manager the next morning and he gave me my voucher back The hotel didn’t have a lot of choices for food I never received my welcome points other than that the hotel was okay I took my 4 year old to pr for his birthday he loved it

Will I stay here again? Yes I travel for business and it is a good value in an area that doesn’t have many international hotel chain options Is it a hotel I would rave about? No

It’s a hotel that is on a small hill outside of Ponce It’s not in town and you can’t walk to anything except a cool looking restaurant that closes early It has the look and feel of a 1970s hotel Some floors have been renovated and the look is modern but still an older hotel The bar is outdated but they are probably going to renovate it in their plan

We did not stay at the hotel This review is for the restaurant We arrived about an hour before close but were served quickly, despite being a large group

I had a regular monitor which was average and a passion fruit monitor which was good The lobster was not great, it lacked freshness and was a bit overcooked We had a sampler #1 as appetizer and again it was good just not great The place ambiance is beautiful and very unique concept

Lauren Vaughan

I highly recommend this hotel The staff is phenomenal and the property is peaceful I loved the hammocks

And the room was extremely clean and comfortable I will be back soon! The property is also close to some of the most beautiful beaches in this part of the world

We went for our anniversary and it was great Live music Good quality food

Good Service The only bad thing was that they were some loud/drunk/rude girls at the bar that interfere with the music Just an advice to managment please don’t let this happen again I don’t care how important people might be It was annoying to hear This is a really nice romantic place and those people ruined the experience We kind of blocked them because we were celebrating but for most of the tourists this will not be a good situation When I was going to pay one of the girls was using bad words and telling the waitress that she was going to punch her Waitress was very professional But the girl keep throwing the straw paper at her Please don’t allow this to happen again Kudos for the professionalism of the waitress!

We stayed there Christmas 2021, Perfect place to stay in La Parguera Perfectly located, close to the docks and restaurants, but far enough to have a good night of rest Plus the cafeteria next door, seals the deal

The smell of fresh baked bread and coffee will wake you up, their pastries and entrees are supreme !! Highly recommended

Beautiful resort in a peaceful location Rooms are a little dated but clean and bright with great spa bathroom products Pools and resort facilities are excellent with Hobie Cat, kayaks, paddle boards and bikes available to rent

Gilligan’s Island is a short sail/kayak away and is great for swimming and snorkeling My only issue is with the main restaurant and food options Breakfast is great, with a large buffet and a lot of choice Lunch and dinner food choices are limited however, with hardly any vegetarian options (cheese pizza, pasta with sauce, or they can adapt other items on the menu but none of it is very exciting) The menu does not change and there are limited options to eat outside of the resort Service is very spotty and was poor at times You need reservations to eat at the restaurant We were not advised of this and on one busy night we were told our only option was to get take-out in our rooms Thanks to Bryan, the restaurant supervisor, who organized for us to eat on the patio instead We were even asked if we had a reservation for breakfast on the Saturday we were leaving, after we had already waited 20 minutes for a table I’m not sure where you’re expected to have breakfast when you are a guest at a resort and there is nowhere else to go?! Overall, would be 5 stars if the food and restaurant service were improved

Marc Ness

Very nice resort, I was there with a large tour group Looks like a good family resort, lots of stuff for kids to explore Kayaks are available to explore the sheltered bay, there is also a catamaran sailboat available

I saw a dad with two teenagers disappear for about 6 hours, lots to explore if you are a sailor (I didn’t rent the sailboat, but I would have if there outside of the group tour) Food is excellent here, the included breakfast is great The staff are super-helpful, and the rooms are very well equippedThe bay is very sheltered, nice for swimming off the beach as well as kayaking Take a hike out to the end of the pier after dark, you’ll see tarpons swimming just beyond the light-spill from the dock as well as a bunch of small fish swimming around the pilings Bring some bread to throw out for the fish, and you’ll see a feeding frenzyReally nice spot

Carmen de León

One of our favorite places to stay, beautiful and relaxing Calm waters at the beach, nature at its best A lot of small fishes and hermit crabs for small children to see

Front desk and hotel staff welcoming and friendly I had a massage at the spa and it was wonderful The staff at the spa are extremely attentive and friendly The hotel sells their own products and I highly recommend them We will be returning as we have in previous years

My husband had been to Mary Lees several times in the past, after hearing nothing but good things I was not disappointed The staff is friendly and helpful despite the language barrier, with someone working the main office proficient in English The price is reasonable and from the moment we walked in we felt at home

Anything needed was provided, and we even had a small lizard friend living with us in the bathroom We also rented a two person kayak and enjoyed exploring the surrounding area Best part was the lack of tourists, it felt like a local gem and the view was amazing Really liked the spacious shower, along with the funky layout of the bathroom Quiet and peaceful at night, with no cell phone service in our room, it really is paradise We will be returning year and after year, and with our friends and family Highly recommend

Explore With Who

Very unique we stayed in the Studio called Ruthie’s enjoyed the open space and Susie is very friendly and helpful with the area questions we had She has private boating for island transportation to Gilligan’s Island which is wonderful off-season no crowds at all and we snorkeled near the reefs where the ocean breaks pretty much the whole time lots of water life to see from Octopus, starfish, conchs and more

I came here on vacation and though I can’t speak for the prices, as the stay was a gift, I can tell that the staff was extremely helpful The accommodations were very clean and beautiful and the perks of various restaurant discounts were fun and useful I greatly enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to anyone in need for rest during the off season

I can’t speak for it in holiday season but I imagine that despite the crowds the service would still be cordial The employees were really sweet and thoughtful

Scott Hair

We booked a room for January 3-5, they gave us the corner room (15) which has a spectacular view Check in and out was quick and employees were very friendly Price for the room was reasonable and it was very clean

WiFi was fast and water pressure was the best I’ve ever seen in a hotel Some odd things though No ice machine on site No refrigerator in the room Coolers are not allowed in the rooms First time I’ve ever seen that, even in cheap hotels We never got maid service either Returned after aboat trip after 1 pm, no one had been by, no one came after that Whole the room had an excellent view, the music at the restaurant on the other side of the church had a really loud band Saturday night that played until 12;30 am But it’s a party town so that’s to be expected The morning sun lit up the room like crazy, needs darker shades to prevent thatOverall we liked the hotel but not sure if we’d stay there again without room refrigerators Too expensive to constantly have to buy cold drinks

Luis Bernal

rooms are nice and well maintained and cleaned staff is extremely nice and very accommodating the only thing that kept me from giving five stars is the fact that the restaurant and pool bar on site is closed Monday-Wednesday

i realize that it’s a tourist town and that half the town is closed on these days but it’s a hotel and you have guests that want to sit by the pool and have drinks at the bar you gotta at least have the bar open for peoplein general, I’d definitely recommend the place, though
