Has to be some of the most competent and friendly staff I’ve seen in a while Other than the manager, he seemed to have a real attitude Not sure how his employees do such an excellent job under his leadership

Anyway, beautiful hotel Everything was clean and smelled nice You can tell it’s an older hotel with updates but still very nice The bartender Yvonne was extremely knowledgeable and friendly 9/10 would stay again

Eileen Donohue

I stayed one night and it was perfect I needed to get a meal for myself and three hungry soccer players and the kitchen and restaurant staff were very accommodating We placed the order right before the kitchen closed and they were very sweet about it

The food was excellent! I must say the staff were all friendly and helpful The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable I would definitely stay again

Amy Sullivan

Great location And the breakfast was pretty good My only complaints are regarding bedding

I expect any Marriott to have great sheets, great pillows and a comfy bed The bed was hard and not comfy The sheets felt starchy and not soft at all The pillows were cheap and flat I am used to bedding at the Hampton inn or embassy suites or doubletree This was definitely not a good sleeping experience!!!

This hotel is a great value for money The location and the rooms are super greatThe staff are friendly and kind

Emma at the Front desk is just the greatest!!! She was our first point of contact upon arriving and her professionalism was highly exuded through her pleasant, calm and kind disposition She made us feel so welcome and at home The hospitality we received from her set the tone of our trip for the entire week Emma is quite the epitome of what good customer service means The ladies in the kitchen were awesome too!! Forgive me for forgetting their names Overall, I would say I had a great trip and would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Orlando area

It was truly a gem to receive such great service from this establishment The room has been cleaned the surroundings were kept up to par I met the receptionist who I don’t remember her name

I also met the orderly by the name of the provided Giselle I believe who was very nice She addressed me by my name which I was surprised I did not expect them to remember my name I was asked was everything pleasant and I could not lie everything was more than I had a dip in the pool and looking out for alligators of course The hot tub was nice and hot and very soothing It accommodated everything I needed for my trip It was very close to the airport which made it even better for me to get around and get to the airport on time to meet my plane I certainly will save this as a suite I will return to in my very next venture to Florida

PJ M

Great shuttle service Less than welcoming neighborhood area and lobby If you don’t have a car you are stranded with few eating options

First room a/c did not work Second room bathroom light did not appear to work but learned that outer room switch had to be on to work bathroom light Adequate if you just need something near airport for a limited staybut we found a better similar priced hotel closer to airport with a much more welcoming area and hotel experience

This is an older Double tree that is in need of a renovation The spa rooms have had the bathrooms updated some what with a shower with a nice sliding glass door and shower head, but the rooms are a little on the small side and the beds are very soft They have a nice air purifier in the spa rooms as well

But found the room to be very warm, even though the temp was set to 70 degsThe bar area is easy to get to and the restaurant is not bad The workout room is very nice for a hotel and they have a large pool out back but the pool for some reason is not the invitingWould I stay here again, yes, but I would prefer the Hampton Inn and suites if you are a Hilton member as it is near by and rooms are a little nicer and the pool is a lot more inviting as well

Michael Krieger

I stay with Hilton Property hotels often This hotel was convenient for business needs and had many food options available nearby Breakfast seemed expensive, my room only had 2 clothes hangers, no mini fridge, and no water bottles offered at check-in (I have member status)

Overall a nice stay and they were gracious enough to extend checkout time by 1 HR so that I could work in my room up until the time that I needed to go to the airport

Emily Hathcock

When I first arrived I had high hopes for this hotel I checked reviews, it was in a good location ( close to the school and plenty to eat and shop around the area) and the lobby was very nice However, for the price, the room had no microwave or a mini fridge

It had an old small coffee maker only A little disappointed as I had some small snacks I would have liked to have refrigerated The A/C was loud and the room had a musty smell I could live with that – but the shower wall had long black hair all over it and in the morning I woke up to a roach scurrying across the room ! The blow dryer was encrusted with fingerprints and someone’s hair product I couldn’t even use it The roach and dirty bathroom is what really made this stay ruined – also didn’t offer continental breakfast, and without a way to store your own food in the room it seemed a little much

Jeffrey and Julia Johnson

We have stayed at a number of Embassy Suites this year due to business and personal travel This was our first stay at the ES Downtown Orlando and it was by far the cleanest and best organized in our experience with the chain My wife and I were so impressed that we had to find the Housekeeping Manager, Mr

Kevin Robinson and tell him personally how much we were enjoying our stay in our outstandingly clean room We can be persnickety about cleanliness and we were not disappointed The breakfast buffet was also outstanding The young lady that served as the cook to order chef was the best (sorry I did not get her name) The best stay ever!!! Thanks Mr Robinson and staff The leadership team at this facility is doing a bang up job!

Chris McEachran

The communication from staff prior to check-in was great, both via text and phone Check-in was a breeze and room was well equipped Unfortunately a water-main/pipe burst on the day of our last night’s stay (3 night) and it went completely down hill from there

Downstairs/first floor was completely soaked (staff worked quickly to mitigate and mop up water) A/C in the hotel and room did not work/was out from mid afternoon Saturday until we checked out There was zero proactive communication and a complete lack of apologetic or sympathetic interaction from point forward When asking the desk at 130am the response was an apprehensive, “sometime in the middle of the night”Checking out at 11am and still nothingConsidering Saturday night was the most expensive of the three night stay, I would expect better This will be our last stay at this Embassy/Hilton hotel

Pros:- close to a lot of things downtown- free breakfast was alright (I didn’t have the time for the cooked food, it looked pretty good though)- the small pool is good and wasn’t busy during the week, it isn’t heated though so you might not be able to use it- the gym looked really good with pull-up bars and dumbbells and stuff didn’t have the chance to try itCons:- really uncomfortable beds with hard as a rock mattresses

I have a bad back and one night I tried sleep on the (marginally more comfortable) sofa bed because of how terrible the actual bed was- paper thin walls I could hear everything my neighbour said or did, and all of the cars in the street, of which there are many even at 1am- pool is tiny, you can’t actually swim in it at allOverall wouldn’t recommend if you like sleep But if you aren’t time limited and want somewhere downtown, it’s not a terrible place to stay

Work trip to Orlando Ended up being situated in this here room It was a fairly well maintained space

Nice sizable bed Had a couch for lounging, and a desk with a night light Even a microwave and mini fridge The location is great too, because everything is within walking distance so far as restaurants go There is even a pool, which I did not personally attend There is food served at the bar after 5 My only complaint is the room service was lacking The cleaning ladies didn’t clean up and replace the old towels They also left the trash in the bins Not the end of the world, but it isn’t asking much to do a complete job Otherwise, I would without a seconds hesitation spend another week straight here

brianna butler

So when I first arrived I initially had a problem The hotel was COMPLETELY full the weekend I went there was bus loads of people checking in The operation manager Adrianna was sure to reach out to me and completely take care of all the issues that I had

She was a saving grace! Good hotel Love the balconies Love the lemon scented products for shampoo and lotion Just extremely pleased with how this manager handled the situation after finding out what happened over the weekend

Shannon England

These hotel rooms are pretty gross The lobby has been updated nicely, but the rooms haven’t been TOUCHED in YEARS Looks like an old motel room inside

Not clean Our room had cobwebs, a tub that leaked all the way into the other room and smelled VERY musty Marie at the front desk was very sweet and moved is immediately after a flooding shower She was incredibly gracious and helpful BUT, this hotel needs a lot of work

Pros: The people/staff were very kind and helpful, and the hotel was very clean and only 5 min drive from the airport Shuttle from the airport to the hotel at 10pm was efficient and the driver was very friendly!Cons: We were just looking for a convenient spot to spend the night for an overnight layover, and had called to confirm that the shuttle ran all night When we arrived, we were told the shuttle did not run all night, and 4am-6am shuttles were booked/not available

We were on the 4th floor which smelled very bad in the hallway – hopefully a temporary thing – but the room was honestly very nice and very clean However, for $180 with taxes and fees would not recommend for a quick stay

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a stay This web site will compare countless booking websites and usually will have prices much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of the best in this area

I’ve been staying here for years If you choose this place you will love it I’m sure! This hotel is super close to the Orlando International Airport, but I didn’t hear any airplanes flying overhead which is very much appreciated Rooms are nicely decorated and beds are comfortable Also has microwave, coffee maker and small fridge It comes with free breakfast with many breakfast doors to choose from, including the option to make your own delicious waffles I highly recommend this hotel!

Lisa Alicea

We checked in last night around 9p and the front desk guy was amazing We have had a rough time with our travels and accommodations recently so having him try his best to explain and help my family out meant everything to me I only wish I caught his name

Thank you, your patience and kindness will not be forgotten Please be mindful the free shuttle runs from 430a to 1a so if you have an early flight you will need other transportation

Hotel is very nice, the staff, valet, all the way down to security are unmatched!! The room had a contemporary feel and very comfortable The view from the room was amazing as well Absolutely loved the sky bar!! Food and drinks were amazing!!

it was just overall a very pleasant stay! I didn’t want to leave!! Although valet parking was a lot, it was great to just be able to walk downstairs and my car already waiting on me Really loved this place!!

Berta B

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the restaurant/bar located at the AC hotel’s rooftop The cocktails were tasty (great presentation), food was delicious & the property was elegant/stylish The cocktail lounge had a relaxed yet chic ambiance – upscale yet comfortable

We sat indoors during this visit and had a great time, the service/staff was pleasant and accommodating Outdoor bar, seating & lounge areas also available with an absolutely breathtaking view I 100% recommend & will definitely be back

Nathan Cohen

The accommodations are extremely nice Rooms are quite nice However, the service does not match the property

The best thing this property has going for itself is the AC SkyBar (food and drinks were very good) Brian was a great bartender I unfortunately experienced situations with the charges to my credit card for incidentals, no availability for room service and as a ambassador elite , on my last night of stay, the air went out and the thermostat along with some of the lighting in my suite on the top floor did not work I was told that there was no engineering staff available to assist and I will get a call the following morning at 10 AM No call was ever received To my understanding, this property is just over a year old I would think that the services here would be better as one of the Premier downtown properties and not to mention it’s Marriott My hopes are about the services here will improve as this property has the potential to be an amazing experience

One of the best hotels I have ever been to! I loved everything about this place The staff were friendly, greeted everyone and held open doors constantly The lobby was clean and very pretty

Our room overlooked the pool area, which was my favorite part Beautiful palm trees surround the pool with plenty of chairs to relax on There are also some couches and chairs outside where you can relax with a drink if you don’t want to be near the pool If I ever come back to Orlando, I would never stay anywhere except The Celeste

Chris Jantsch

Excellent property, despite the confusing brand Two year old hotel easily ranks with Marriott, Sheraton, or Renaissance brands Clean, quiet rooms, outstanding housekeeping and engineering

Friendly, efficient front desk Hannah and Ireland in the Aurora restaurant, and Joel at the bar are outstanding Especially Joel Valets are friendly and attentive, have the hardest jobs as they’re outside all day Stayed here two weeks for business but enjoyed the clean, well-maintained salt-water pool whenever I could I’ll try to reserve here whenever I return to Orlando for work or pleasure

Stephanie Lopez-Shelton

We are enjoying staying here for graduation Pretty hotel Love the light up Space Shuttle wall mural

Weight room and pool are nice The Aurora restaurant was a lifesaver for us last night after checking in Everything was delicious Our waitress was really nice Front desk staff was welcoming The valet staff were really good and nice I felt bad for them with all the action out there in the heat but they were nice and smiling the whole time Our car was up before we came out every time Rooms are nice with very comfortable beds Definitely recommend this hotel!

I recently stayed here with my son for a trip to tour the University of Central Florida Being in the airport made our trip so easy and convenient The young man working in valet parking was extremely professional and went out of his way to assist us with transportation

We couldn’t ask for a better experience from check in to check out! Paul and Daniel went above and beyond by reaching out before our stay to ask if we needed any special accommodations We requested an early check in and a late check out so were able to leave our luggage in the room until we returned from the tour to catch our flight back home I really didn’t expect our room to be ready for early check in but sure enough, it was! Our room was extremely clean, comfortable, and quiet We returned to the hotel from the college tour arriving just after our 2:00 late check out time due to traffic so our keys were deactivated One of the very sweet cleaning ladies was able to immediately find a manager to unlock the room so we could grab our luggage I cannot remember their names but they were all very kind and professional This will definitely be our hotel of choice when returning to Orlando-I can’t wait to visit again!! Thank you so much to this amazing group-you all deserve to be recognized

This is a nice hotel, but it is expensive and you are paying for the location and convenience of being in the airport I have had much nicer, more updated, and more spacious rooms at other hotels for much less money Staff were very polite and professional when I was able to talk to them

However, when I tried to call the front desk several times on the morning of our checkout day, no one ever answered the phone The hotel was completely full on the night of our stay – the Friday of Memorial Day weekend We did not get the room type that I reserved, and since there were no other rooms, they were not able to move us My daughter had to sleep on the couch (sofa beds are torture devices, not beds!) But the manager gave me 25% off my rate and 6,000 Hyatt points for the inconvenience Note that some rooms are VERY far from the lobby – we walked as far as you could possibly walk hauling a huge amount of very heavy luggage when we arrived on our flight at 1 am (not fun!) The rooms are nicely done, but they are not very big, the ceilings are low, and you are not allowed to go out onto the balconies The motion-activated night lights under the bed seemed cool at first, but are actually really annoying when someone needs to get up to use the bathroom during the night

Other than some mold/mildew in the bathroom, the room was wonderful I sleep in the day and it was quiet and the curtains kept the room dark The breakfasts were outstanding, especially the made to order omelets

I loved the restaurant in the lobby I ate there all 4 days and all the meals were tasty I would definitely go again and recommend the place to friends and family

Lori Leigh O’Gara

Customer service was great, for the most part, the hotel was not It was the loudest hotel I have ever stayed in You could hear every little thing through the walls and doors

Children were running all over the place with no one saying a word to them The bed was very uncomfortable The pillows were flat The complementary toiletries were cheap The “balcony” that I was looking forward to sitting on to drink coffee and look at the lake in the morning was a 12 in ledge with a railing and a slide open window The breakfast was mediocre, the cooks doing the made to order omelets were rude The staff cleaning up the dinning area were very polite The cleaning staff were attentive The front desk staff were great The parking was ok, but several large trucks and one SUV took two and three parking spots so it was difficult to find a place to park I tend to stick with Hilton hotels because they are normally a cut above and I am rarely disappointed This time, I was wondering if I had actually booked a Hilton property or a look a like Come on, Hilton, you can do better than this

Monica Lopez

We always stay at the embassy suites and this one was probably the worst one we’ve stay at Employees were great and nice but the hotel was very out dated, our room was not clean The A/C did not work, it said it was on 65 but felt like 75

It was very humid in our room When it rained the carpet in the room by the window got soaking wet My son slept on the pull out bed and the bed was VERY uncomfortable, no padding what so ever He said he just felt the springs in the bed The staffed fixed the bed by bringing a pillow topper but that should not be necessary The buffet breakfast was good but I wish the happy hour was at least til 8 We always missed the happy hour because we were at the baseball fields for my son’s tournament At the end of our week long stay there was a huge group of people that came to stay and they took up every single seat in the lobby during breakfast time Nobody else had a place to sit during breakfast, they were not even eating so I found that annoying that we had to sit without a table to eat our breakfast Overall very disappointed in this embassy stay

I’ve been staying here for a very long time If you decide to stay here you definitely won’t be let downI was extremely satisfied with the hotel the rooms and the service It is located very close to the airport and they do have shuttle service to and from the airport The pool area has a gray bar as well as the lobby, very quiet and peaceful A lake in the back is also a nice addition I would definitely stay here again

I used to love this hotel! I looked forward to staying there every year for a conference But now it’s certainly not what it used to be and they’re still charging high pricesThere’s no room service

It’s a pandemic If you don’t have the staff to do both restaurants and room service, do room service! The room decor is awfulThe showers are awful There’s only one tiny metal shelf to put things on and if you try to do so the things will slip right off because it’s poorly designed The water is sporadic, you can’t get the temperature you want, and the floors are slipperyMy friend ordered gluten free pizza and then had a medical event because they either didn’t clean before making hers and it was cross contaminated or they used regular flourThey’ve taken away all breakfast options except for their expensive buffet Even the coffee shop in there doesn’t have pastries, sandwiches, etc They barely had enough coffeeI understand that the pandemic has forced major changes on hotels, but it doesn’t feel like this Marriott is making decisions based on what will keep most people safe They charge Marriott prices for a Raddison experience and that’s not okay

Madison Obryan

Very disappointed in the staff member Monica – the assistant manager at the front desk She advised us at 6:30 am when we checked breakfast was included and that it would open in 30 minutes even going into detail how they would make us omelettes in front of us I only needed the room due to a flight delay for 6 hours

I paid nearly $200 for a room The room was nice When we went to breakfast we were turned away and when speaking with the front desk we were told we had to wait until she was out of a meeting and when she approached us she became very defensive and stating she didn’t state this which both of us heard clear as day and repeatedly talked about This was our first Marriott and this wasn’t a good impression We were then told we could be taken to a restaurant near by and when we said yes they advice us the shuttle wasn’t even available and it was at the airport We chose to opt out to avoid missing the shuttle to return to the airport I didn’t appreciate the staffs tone or the misinformation I will not return to this location because of this first impression

The staff was wonderful and tried to be accommodating which is amazing considering how under staffed they were The breakfast buffet was excellent We did encounter a few issues

No Handicapp stalls in the ladies room on the main floor, air conditioner in our room did not work It was replaced with a new unit a few hours later; clogged toilet, they had to use a Plunger to fix (40 minutes later), I booked my room 6 weeks in advanced with a request for a king room with roll in shower which was confirmed Upon my arrival was informed there were given out earlier Why bother booking special requests if they are not honored We did have a walk in shower, no hand held shower head shower head and no bench to sit on Very painful trying to stand to shower Very disappointing

I stayed here for a conference June of 2022 The staff at the front desk was super helpful and friendly My room was clean and comfortable

My only complaint is about the air conditioner in my room It ran constantly, and it was loud To get it to turn off I would turn the temperature up on the thermostat This shut the unit off, but it wouldn’t be long until the room would get humid and the air needed to be turned on The overall stay was great and I would stay here again

Always a great stay We’ve stayed twice with our baseball team The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly & the beds are comfortable

The location isn’t my favorite & I always have trouble with the gate in the parking lot but I will continue to stay here when we’re playing ball in Orlando The kids always enjoy the pool & hot tub & there is a restaurant & bar right down stairs, which is super convient

My dauthers and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here It was by far, one of our best hotel experiences in Orlando From check-in, to surprising my girls with the delicious breakfast in the morning

Our room was so nice, and the beds delightfully comfortable Located so close to downtown, it gave us a taste of downtown living 10/10 would recommend, and we will definitely come back again

Old property with renovations and soft touches of contemporary decor It’s downtown inner city so with that being said comes homelessness and stranglers… doesn’t bother me but might bother you Location is immediately off I-4 for a bit of convenience

Valet or self parking($18) and has a shuttle service that takes you 3mi of the property Staff interaction was pleasant and informative My stay came with breakfast I was supposed to have a dbl Queen however the 3rd party sent it to the hotel as king room The front desk employee was able to make a reasonable adjustment and get me a room with a pull out sofa, Thanks front desk! The room was fresh but did have smudges on the wall, sofa cushions were worn and slouchy, the packaged cups placed with the ice bin had holes in the plastic and were torn 🤔 which made me question safety/cleanliness/sanitary but I’m just go pray about it and drink the alcohol hoping that kills whatever may have got in the cup

Room was nice but

negatives were coffee machine was broken, shower water temp was either scalding hot or cold no in-between, the lighting was terrible no light near door where only full length mirror is One of the lamps had an light bulb out that I pulled out so room service would know The mini fridge worked but the exterior so hot that i left cabinet door it was housed in open to try to cool it off Kept the drinks cold though The restaurant is NOT open for lunch even though advertised it is Positives was beds comfortable, rooms was clean and was cold

Great location The rooms were great, service by staff was on point Very attentive and extremely helpful

We had brunch and everything I ate was delicious The menu was very diverse and there was something for everyone We were celebrating Father’s Day and my dad, brother and brother in law had the best time They made this time a very special occasion that my family will forever cherish I will be back in the future

Michael Scott

This is a pretty fancy hotel Probably one of the fanciest downtown Orlando has to offerThe restaurant is fantastic

The Sunday brunch is even more fantastic The bar has some great craft cocktailsThe check-in procedure is smooth and the staff behind the desk is on the top of their gameParking is a bit of a challenge and even though they offer valet from some very efficient subcontractors, it would have been nice if the designers of the hotel made just a little bit more room to maneuver into the drop off area 🤦🏻‍♂️ at times the line can extend out into the street creating an uncomfortable wait time and a traffic jamOh, and it’s not inexpensive either 😉

The airline placed my family here when they overbooked the flight Staff and service was excellent The facility was recently updated, but the building still shows aging

We had trouble with the elevators and the room keys not working reliably, and the air conditioner was very rattly There’s a very large outdoor pool The hot tub wasn’t operational Breakfast (paid, but free with IHG status) was great, with an excellent omelette bar

Emily Ohmart

Not a great stay at the Holiday Inn this time The hot tub was out of order, our room key stopped working almost every time we left and came back — we had to get it reset twice (and the trip isn’t over yet) We also overheard a family enter their room for the first time to find someone else in the room! They charge for parking, and the $11

99 breakfast buffet looked like any other hot breakfast that would normally be includedThe rooms were clean and staff was friendly, but would not recommend staying here at the time of this review

Follow up at this location is a tough pill to swallow I would have expected this at a value brand motel and not bothered following up As a Spire Elite member, I would have expected a little more

I checked out at 11AM on 2/19 At 12:10PM I made my first attempt to contact the hotel regarding an item forgotten in the room At 4:50PM, my second attempt was made then again at 7:19PM Didn’t get the name of the 12:10 PM person, spoke with Tina Marie for the last two calls on the 19th and was assured from Tina Marie someone would contact me on 2/20 between 9-5 to follow up2/20 5:25 PM called again, spoke to Liz (Supervisor), explained about forgotten item again as this was new to her, assured again a follow up call would be made within 30 minutes Called back at 6:18PM, 7:14PM and finally 8:51PM, no answer on all 3 attempts2/21 1:34PM Spoke with Dakota at the front desk, explained the problem again, she actually took the time to go to Housekeeping to look for the item and unfortunately was unable to locate itI get it, I left the item behind, completely my fault I’m sure I’m not the first person to have left something behindBiggest problem right now is parts availability of electronic manufacturing is currently making it difficult to find a replacementRecovery at the hotel would have been much easier within 2 hours versus waiting 2 days for someone to actually look, making multiple calls (some unanswered), multiple explanations, and of course the final frustration, no one able to locate it versus actually been looked for when originally reportedLost & Found protocols should be in place and enforced, things happen Why the disconnect? Above all, if the desk agents or supervisors say they will call back, actually call back instead of attempting to pacify a paying customer

I am going to give the hotel a full 5-star review I did note that the bed frames were a bit dated, and they could use firmer pillows, along with adding complimentary snack at check in Other than those minor things, the hotel was beautiful, the staff was very pleasant

I loved the back-room view, and it was very affordable given distance from big attractions We were in town for high school singing competition and this hotel was right around the corner and close to a lot of restaurants I will definitely book again and tell others to do the same

Overall quality and cleanliness was not an issue, however, for the price of the room one would expect a continental breakfast at least, especially since the hotel clerk mentioned there is breakfast in the morning He failed to tell me that one has to pay for breakfast I did go down for breakfast and was going through empty pots looking for hot food when someone from the kitchen said, “those are empty, your food is cooked to order but you have to pay

” I said what about the fruit over here, she said,” everything in here has to be paid for, that’s Hampton Inn that does free breakfast, the Garden Inn doesn’t” I said, ”Oh, well how much is breakfast?” She said, “Some are $1295, they are different prices” I said, “Why don’t I just go to a restaurant then if I have to pay?” She said, ” Henry is a real good cook ,and he does a fantastic job” No disrespect to Henry but he looked to be about 75 years of age however he was very energetic as he quickly moved about the stove area I ended up going to the nearby Metro Diner

We had two rooms for my graduation weekend The were clean and neat for the most part The AC unit was rather loud

I noticed what look like dried blood or dirt on the sheet like it was washed but permanently stained the sheets I did enjoy the pool and jacuzzi The pool needed some cleaning and the equipment they had was too long Overall the staff was super helpful and pleasant We enjoyed the decorations they had for UCF Graduation and Mother’s Day
