My wife and i had a delightfully memorable experience yesterday The facility is unique, a mountain retreat look with a zen garden vibe The staff is very helpful and caring and guides you through the process

Sanitation and hygiene is top notch Having a designated area to change into provided robe and slippers is a nice touchThe skill, and attention we received for our massage was as good as it getsA sauna and complete shower facility is nice to clean up before departingWe will go here every time we visit Asheville

Manager Shanon went above and beyond to accommodate us There was mix up with the scheduling due to system being down Shanon made me forget how the associate tried to dismiss me by making sure we were serviced properly

I traveled from SC for a surprise birthday retreat Elizabeth did a great job with full body massage, I highly recommend her! The private bath house was intimate and relaxing I wish we had more time to experience all they have to offer The experience was peaceful to say the least

Kaiti Meade

Incredible experience! Treated my partner & I to a day at Shoji for his birthday Every single part was amazing! The staff are very kind and patient, no need to rush from service to service Madeline and Steve handled our zen massage and it was amazing

I couldn’t say enough good things I’d recommend at least a 90min tub soak to truly take advantage of all of the facilities

Went to Asheville for a concert and needed a place to stay overnight, Bon Paul and Sharky’s was within my budget and seemed like a good place I was not disappointed! I stayed in the tiny house and it was great The bed was comfortable and the room was clean

Only issue was that there’s no AC, but there was a fan Definitely would stay here again

I enjoyed my stay at this Hostel Great value I used it as a place to rest my head after a long day of hiking in Brevard before headed back to TN the next day

Resident workers were quite helpful I never really needed anything but all of them introduced themselves and asked if I needed anything Rooms were clean enough, bathrooms (especially upstairs) were great Showers are great They provide soap Seems locally made Common areas were good with board games, books, magazines I can’t speak for the kitchen Didn’t use it Seemed standard Sharky’s could use a few aesthetic upgrades, but nothing huge Owners – I would recommend new chairs around the fire pit and a new deck & picnic table whenever you get around to it No big deal though I plan on coming back with friends sometimes Thank you for your hospitalityOne more note – Mine was clean but they (like most places) wash comforters periodically If this is of concern to you as a prospective guest, maybe bring your own blanket

We really liked the self check in/out and it was easy to find after we went by it the initial passThe window A/C was on when we arrived at 4pm, thank you!, and we could park right in front of the cottage Three steps up and we were in

I owned a residential cleaning company so I automatically noticed how quick a turn around their cleaner must have I cleaned the entire kitchen surface areas so they could just do their DisinfectionIt was great to assemble our breakfast and eat in our pajamas like at home, one of the reasons we wanted a place like this Heard the birds in the morning too!I would stay again, just bring my own cleaning bag since I have different standards

Overall it was a good stay Nice perks like digital keys, complimentary lattes/hot chocolate, etc, nice pool & hot tub For the price, the rooms could really be more modern & upscale – I was a little surprised by that not to mention a couple things like the drain not being properly sealed in our shower (big hole!), some mold in the shower, the fridge being a little dirty, no handsoap of any kind, etc

these are not things I would expect with a $180 price tag I will say all staff we encountered were extremely delightful and the spot this hotel is located is fabulous if you want to just park your car and walk to restaurants/shops I am not sure I would stay at this particular Hilton again based on the above issues but overall I think it’s fine

Seth Ritchie (appalachian_foodie)

Excellent stay – one of my favs in Asheville Biltmore Park is enough out of the way, yet offers plenty of shopping and dining on-siteThe beds are probably the last to be updated and are pretty firm, but the rooms are spacious, well laid out, and clean

The on-site restaurant is amazing, with a full service bar and several optionsIf you’re looking to avoid downtown traffic, consider this stay Hilton standards at their best!

William Bartles

Stayed here for one night and ate at the restaurant downstairs called Fork LoreI have already reviewed the restaurant separately but it was goodThe room was comfortable and for the most part clean

Bathroom was spotless, bed was clean and well maintained The one issue that we had was that there was a piece of half eaten candy laying on the night stand and we had to call for someone to clean it up as we were not going to touch it, thus, the three stars The room service was prompt to handle the situation and were very friendlyThe parking was a little strange as the garage is separate from the hotel and is connected via a series of walkways and elevatorsThe front desk was very helpful and friendlyIf you find this review helpful, please click on the thumbs up button at the bottom!

We were looking for a romantic cabin getaway on our anniversary trip to Asheville and we’re so glad we found this place! We enjoyed our stay so much that we didn’t want to leave after only 4 days! The cabin was clean, cute & cozy, just the perfect size and had everything we needed We loved using the fire pits outside, having coffee or wine out on the deck overlooking the beautiful Fall colored trees & listening to the river right in front of us, and sitting in front of the fire place to watch a movie on the cold nights! It had the perfect combination of feeling rustic and like you’re out in nature remotely away from it all, but having all the modern conveniences & close to everything Asheville has to offer The bed was so comfortable and we slept so well after long days exploring the area

We ended up not cooking this trip because there were several restaurants we wanted to try, but appreciated having everything in the kitchen and a grill on the patio if we wanted to And some of the host’s recommendations we really enjoyed! The contactless check in & out was nice, the location was easy to find & access, and the host was prompt in communication If we ever make it back to Asheville we look forward to staying here again and definitely recommend the Rocky River cabin to anyone looking for a wonderful vacation experience!

Denise Beacham

This place is amazing! The bed was super comfortable, the cabin was nicely decorated, the hot tub was very much enjoyable, and the entire cabin was super clean! This location was quiet and felt remote, but was only 10-15 minutes from town and places to do things We had a very relaxing and enjoyable getaway and are looking forward to our next stay!

We had an amazing family Christmas experience at Asheville Cabins of Willow Winds The cabins were extremely homey, comfortable and well maintained Check in was simple and streamlined

Instructions were easy to follow Loved that firewood was supplied each day The staff members were responsive and welcoming The cabins are located right in Asheville but tucked away so that you feel you are in the mountains with all the wonderful views and access to hiking, but still convenient to all that Asheville has to offer The diverse choice of activities on site provided options for everyone to enjoy We will be coming back!

Lisa Johnston

Our stay at Willow Winds was the most relaxing vacation I believe I have ever had! The Cabins are in the most beautiful setting with trees just everywhere! Views from the balcony/deck were gorgeous! The location was close to everything we wanted to do

the Biltmore House, hiking trails, good restaurants, etc Our cabin was clean & well appointed We were so pleased that the very night we got home we made reservations for our next stay! Can’t wait!

Meredith Lobsinger

The reviews don’t lie! This place is just BEAUTIFUL! We stayed in Irene’s Oak and had a gorgeous view from our porch of nothing but trees It’s so peaceful and quiet, yet 10-15 minutes from Asheville and 20 minutes to Black Mountain I have never in my life stayed somewhere SO IMPECCABLY clean! It’s like the cabins were built a month ago

There were even robes for the HOT TUB which was totally private and enjoyable What an incredible value!!! We will definitely be returning

Sinéad McClinton

The lobby, golf course, trails are beautiful The restaurant buffet is great and worth the money for sure Beautiful fire indoor and outdoor pit

And a good size balcony But the rooms are a little small and almost like an after though compared to the more upscale curbside appeal and lobby/restaurant lookThe bathroom is small, would be better with a walk in shower and remove the small dated tub And a simple fix to open the bathroom door out vs In would make a huge difference Not a lot of thought out into the room, but i guess you only sleep there so it can be tolerable

Buster Young

We recently stayed here and overall had a great time We had a bit of an issue at check in with our room We were given a room on the bottom floor of a separate building that appeared to be a spare room that perhaps was used for storage

Let’s just say it was not the caliber of room you would expect I brought it to the management’s attention and they made it right and got us in a room that was very much suitable and what we expected The hotel was sold out of rooms but we had made a reservation My purpose of bringing this up is that the property made it right and we ended up with a good room and overall enjoyed our stay The breakfast was extremely good Very nice staff We would definitely stay with them again

Brook Anderson

Stayed in May 2022 My room was clean and had a small balcony On-site bar and restaurant nice but expensive

Good location if you don’t want to stay downtown Decent conference room facilities The hotel was quiet and I slept well each night They have a shuttle to take you downtown and back for $8 per person Small maintenance issues such as the phone in my room didn’t work well and my bathroom light kept flickering but overall an enjoyable stay

We were thrilled with our stay This is a unique facility that offered us all that we were looking for It is a quiet place nestled in the woods

Large, comfortable rooms and ours had a fire place which absolutely did it for us Big bathroom with a shower and a nice bath with jets We were so comfortable It is located very conveniently, 5 mins from downtown Asheville, 5 mins from the very impressive River Arts District and 15 minutes from the Biltmore They offer yoga and meditation sessions on site The front desk was not always staffed but we could leave a message and some one got back to us A non traditional set up but we really liked it Would highly recommend and would definitely come back and we are already planning!

What an amazing building, and the grounds and breathtaking It would probably take a few days to explore and experience everything this place has to offer Everyone who worked there that we interacted with was top tier

They were so nice, helpful, and accommodating You can tell that the staff really love what they do The patrons were also great, and we carried on multiple conversations with people we didn’t even know! It was a bit cold when we were there, but I can’t wait to go back and explore the grounds We saw people swimming outside in the huge heated pool and were very tempted! We will definitely be back soon!

Mike Kvintus

The views were amazing and service was outstanding, but the downside was the facilities were very dated including old/frayed rugs in the main hallways and the rooms were worn The rooms were better in the newer wing but still worn while the rooms in the original section were very worn The great room was fantastic with music each evening

We spent a lot of time in the great room and on the terraces Dinner on the Sunset Terrace at sunset was the perfect setting! Overall we had a wonderful vacation despite the dated facilities and would like to go back

Loren King

Very nice! Service was awesome Reservations are a must if you want to enjoy the dinning experience to the fullest With that being said, the gift store doubles as a food place as well and you don’t need reservations to go there

Very clean, which is something that is very important to me I’m going to be honest, it’s definitely an “upper class” resort, pretty expensive Though if you’re a golf, spa, wine and dine person, then leave the kids with a family member and enjoy

The Bent Creek Lodge was such a wonderful experience We stayed the weekend there for a wedding and everything about this place was amazing Our room was spacious and clean with a huge jacuzzi tub and a back door to the porch area

The gardens and surrounding areas are gorgeous and the hospitality was immaculate Delicious breakfasts and hot coffee served every morning with complimentary homemade cookies throughout the day were fantastic Randy and Linda and the other ladies who worked there made our stay such a joyful experience I normally don’t write such long winded reviews but this place is top notch and I will definitely be back 10/10 absolutely recommended

Rebecca Tirs

What an incredible stay we had The bedroom/bathroom had everything we needed The family room had rocking chairs, games, a pool table, snacks, fridge, microwave, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, filtered water, plates, & utensils

It was so well thought out! We sat outside on the back deck every morning watching the hummingbirds, eating breakfast (which was delicious, healthy, & thoughtful considering I’m a vegetarian) and every evening sitting outside our room overlooking the beautiful garden listening to the birds chirp We also had interesting conversations with other guests What set this B & B apart from others were the owner & staff Randy, the owner, was a wealth of information, professional, on top of anything we needed, and very nice The staff, Linda, Abby, & Emily, were all very sweet, funny, and kept things running like a well oiled machine They felt like family- but the kind you love seeing 😉 My mom hadn’t had a vacation in over 25 years bc of caring for her husband who was a quadriplegic When he passed it was time to give mom a breath of fresh air, a good time, and a relaxing place to stay- that was Bent Creek Lodge Thanks for being such a wonderful “home” base while we were on vacation Loved the lodge & loved the people <3

Allyson Prace

My husband and I recently stayed at the Bent Creek Lodge Hands down, this was a wonderful choice! The owner, Randy, and his A+ staff are hard to beat Randy was a great host – absolutely at the ready to make our stay perfect

Linda checked us in and was the main “concierge” — just a delightful, friendly, funny personality and nature expert that made us feel right at home Tracy is a GREAT chef who prepared incredible breakfasts that would power you to hike the Blue Ridge Mountains all day! If you want to avoid the busy city area and desire a very peaceful setting in the woods, you need not look any farther We will be returning!

Stay was great! Until an employee stole my AirPods We tracked them to a car and had turns out he and his wife DID in fact, take them We were okay and ready to just take our stuff back and leave, until they tried to say it was an accident

Honestly, I wish I could rate this hotel better since it was an employee and the hotel itself had no idea until we told them, but when they attempted to brush it off as an accident?

James Thomas

Had high expectations for the stay unfortunately that was not the case Red Stag grill is over priced for quality of food Steak i dont believe was a prime cut as listed and not very tender

I have never given a negative review but a major issue when checking out Found that my friend daughter airpods were missing After tracking them to a employee car and recovering them with Hotel management, we were told it was a mistake Completely unacceptable and disappointing for end of our stay Would advise looking at other options for your stay

Cory Mock

Planned to stay here a month ago, then my wife and daughter came down with a stomach bug the day before around 3 PM I called to see what my options were to reschedule our stay and was told that I had up to 24 hrs prior to cancel or reschedule I said great I will talk to my wife on a date to reschedule and call right back to rebook the stay

15 minutes later, I called back to reschedule, with known dates that we were available, but this time I was transferred to what seemed like a corporate line instead of the actual location, spent 20 minutes on hold, only to be told that we could not rebook or cancel within 3 days of the check in date I asked to speak to the person that I spoke to prior at the location, but I did not have a name and they kept stating that there was nothing that they could do No deduction on fee, nothing So we still ended up having to pay for the almost $1000/night room without being able to reschedule! After writing this review, the hotel replied and I contacted at the local level and they were able to refund my full deposit Thank you for making things right! We fully intend to rebook this stay at a later time!

Outstanding stay The cleanest hotel we have stayed in the past several years The staff is VERY nice and does a great job

I am not kidding when I say this hotel feels brand new, it was pretty much spotless and as enjoyable as possible The breakfast was very well attended to which made it really efficient for us to get the family fed and on the road the last day especially The rooms and bathrooms look like a company commercial could be filmed out of them as they were perfect I would stay here again without question, this is very well managed and we as Hilton Diamond guests stay in a lot of properties (This was property #4 in our summer vacation we stayed in), and this was by far the best of our vacation and definitely the cleanest and best ran hotel we have stayed at over the past couple of years Well done

Michele

I’m afraid to leave such a shining review of this place because my selfish fear is that it will be impossible to make a reservation because of its popularity, but I’m going to do it anyway This hotel is absolutely fantastic on every front The management and staff are top notch, kind and professional

The rooms are clean, spacious, bright and modern with excellent AC, and the bedding is fresh and comfortable The facilities (pool, decks, shared seating spaces, and lobby) are impeccably clean and fun to hang out in The parking is safe, convenient and fairly priced But the best part is the locationyou can walk anywhere Restaurants, breweries, shopping, baseball stadium, parks, grocery store, food hall are all within an absolutely manageable walking distance You will look forward to coming back here after a day walking around, tubing, drinking, eating or whatever it is you came to Asheville to do This hotel checks all the boxes, and Marriott should be proud of whomever is in charge here It’s great I’m a repeat summer guest and will continue to book here when I’m in Asheville

My husband and I came to Asheville for a concert We have been to Asheville many times but this is the first staying at this hotel

Everything was wonderful, from the friendly faces that greeted us to the comfy rooms What really heightened our experience was an employee there named Martin He was absolutely amazing, a real gem After the concert we made our way to the hotels roof top lounge Martin came to check on us while we were up there He thanked us for coming, made sure we had waters, and asked if there was anything we needed to make our stay better It was much appreciated!!!

We booked a penthouse suite to have plenty of room to move around and invite people to our room, and the views did not disappoint! Check in was super easy Jessica and Mark went out of their way to make sure our stay was up to satisfaction The hotel has a small bar with really good roasted coffee, a good selection of liquor options, and several TVs so we could catch some sports

Our bartender Erica was phenomenal- so friendly and fun and great at what she does!!! Valet is easy except peak time around check out seems to be a bit of a wait, which is to be expectedThe only downsides were the “freshness” of the hotel rooms- our linens and such were clean, but the furniture could use some updating as well as a paint job and some more detail to cleaning the nooks and crannies of the room itself There is no microwave in the room, but I can see that as a liability We did hear that they are scheduled for a renovation which will be exciting to see, because otherwise we loved our stay! Location is great and just a short walk from everything downtown Traffic noise off the highway is pretty persistent but it didn’t bother us much We will definitely check this place out again next time we are in town if not just to pop in and say hi to our resident bartender!

The view was amazing from our top floor room and the service was great We had some issues with the cleanliness, I feel like they only clean what’s necessary The walls had markings, the light switch was dirty (I cleaned it), the sheets had hair on it (could’ve been housekeeping)

The worst, the actual pillows were stained (I check under the pillowcases) I’m very picky about cleanliness so I wouldn’t stay here again Molly, the receptionist, was very accommodating and sweet, she did everything to correct the situation The valet guys were nice too If you’re not picky, the hotel is cool
