Consistent The quality is consistent I love that about Courtyard, no surprises and the best they have to offer in staffing, amenities and rooms

I needed to be at the airport so that I didn’t have to take a costly taxi over I wanted a little luxury (great bed and towels) and a few extra amenities (a bar and Starbucks coffee) So the Courtyard was the place Next morning after meeting the pleasant shuttle driver, I was at the terminal in 10 minutes I couldn’t have been more pleased with the stay!!

Renita Burwell

I just came home from Texas and am truly amazed at how immaculate this hotel was! Since Covid I know standards above anything else the cleaning standards have diminished Not here! From the time I walked in the guest services representative was kind and professional I tried to tip her and and she refused it

The lobby smells so fresh and clean The air freshener in the lobby is a great choice and lets you know youve come to the right place The room was spotless! Bed=perfect! The amenities were good too Overall I loved loved loved my room and enjoyed my stay Will definitely return

Molly Federline

The room was nice but the parking cost me my catalytic converter There are no cameras covering the parking by the front entrance No signs saying as much either

No response from Corporate eitherEdit: If the lack of security/surveillance is “out of hotel control” then it would be something that should be noted on the parking form I signed

We stayed for 3 nights while visiting family Room was spacious and clean Complimentary breakfast was appreciated

Our only real complaint is the placement of the AC vent in the bedroom If you wanted to cool down the space, you had to tolerate the air blowing directly on your head/face while in bed This wasn’t a gentle breeze either- we’re talking significant (had to cover our heads with the blanket) air flow There wasn’t a way to redirect the air or change the vent, so this meant we usually chose to go without AC or air movement at night Seems like poor planning

Sidney Duncan

we really enjoyed this place to service was excellent people were excellent

you do need to request room service however, when you do request they will accommodate you without a problem everything they do was great I did not have one single problem with this hotel other than the accounting but I understand this is the way hotels bill now

chris whiteley

I loved this place Plenty of room and a kitchenette I actually was able to cook a great meal

Equiped with dishes and even a dishwasher! The hot tub and pool was awesome The breakfast was exceptional This is a great example of spending a little extra for a better stay The value exceeded the price I would highly recommend this place to anyone

I stayed one night, first time there and it was very relaxing and comfortable Hillary at the front desk was very nice and handled a issue with the reservation my company made My room was very clean, quiet and the bed was perfect, slept great! The restaurant in house was excellent too, the meal was spot on, Monterey Chicken and my rum and cokes were just right

I’d stay here again with no problem and the airport shuttle to the airport was quick and took me straight to the doorOverall a very pleasant experience

Laurie Chu

We flew into Houston and had a 14 hour layover After calling several hotels in the area it was hard to find anything that had an available room for a day rate, until we called here The woman checking us in was so friendly and worked hard to get us a decent rate and then gave us breakfast coupons to enjoy a buffet breakfast

The breakfast had good options and was really good The room was very clean, updated, and comfortable We were able to get a shuttle back to the airport with a very friendly driver Overall it was a great experience and I would stay here again!

sara jones

We had a flight that got in just after 1 am and crashed here for the night The hotel is surprisingly pretty and the rooms were incredibly clean The A/C was very loud, but it kept it nice and cool so I didn’t mind

The beds were super comfortable and the bathroom was large The breakfast wasn’t great, but other than that I have no complaints whatsoever

Very clean hotel There is a complimentary breakfast that was just perfect for our stay If you want to spend money on a more extensive menu, go about a half a mile South

But overall no complaints The staff from housekeeping to the front desk was exceptional This might be the nicest, most friendly staff I have encountered at any hotel and I have stay at dozens and dozens of different hotels around the countryIn terms of location, you do need a car to get around However, for being a big city it is easy to navigate Staying near the airport is convenient for cutting down on travel timel to catch a flight and dropping off a rental car There is also a nice little salt water pool that is not crowded if you are staying during the week I would be happy to stay here again

Michael Rogowski

Fantastic location for resting before an early morning flight Exceptionally clean with modern furnishings Plenty of parking

Awesome water pressure and temperature in the shower Most importantly, incredibly honest staff Left a sentimental necklace behind and the housekeeping staff secured it for its eventually delivery to me Truly good people work here

Tait Leadford

Great place

Clean Convenient Breakfast was good Front desk guy was very friendly and helpfulOnly issue was the room All the lights were controlled by one light switch Very strange Pretty sure an electrician can fix it

The young man named Ian at the front desk was wonderful He was so professional and courteous I usually travel here for business frequently

I had a very long day and the last thing you want is to be stuck in the line at the front desk Especially after being on your feet for 12hrs He was very efficient and still was able to make everyone feel special I love the hotel the rooms are comfy and I’m always able to relax My encounter with him just made my stay that much better He definitely deserves a raise

Justin

After United Airlines stranded us in Houston for a night, we booked a night here and ultimately had a wonderful stay Insanely convenient to get to-and-from the airport: you hop on a tram for <5 mins which is connected directly to the airport Front desk staff was helpful and efficient in getting this completed

The room and bed were comfortable, spacious, and clean Great blackout curtains made the room nearly 100% dark We got stranded on our layover late, and it was great to have the hotel restaurant stay open until 12am The food there was just okay – but good selection and not too surprising for an airport hotelStay away from the pool area (at least when we stayed), it was buzzing with swarms of massive wasps This is our only “complaint,” and for all I know this is typical of this area in TexasThank you for a great stay!

Sorenishii

These people take convenience seriously I mean it’s a two way street You in convenience them you will pay for it

But if you are inconvenienced by them, they will own up to it and comp you on the spot They were amazing, helpful and super nice We were in a tight spot by the terrible spirit airlines that cancelled our connecting flight on the way home and left us stranded 800 miles from home for a whole day We had to book this hotel late and last minute They upgraded our room to a jr suite and even gave us an awesome rate on staying a few hours past check in This hotel knows what “good business” means I recommend anyone having to stay a day in Houston, do it here They got all the stuff you need, even a pool You want a staff that treats you like a customer should be treated

We recently completed a 3 month stay at this hotel and I have only positive things to say Chelly, the Assistant GM was most accommodating and did everything to make our stay very pleasant All of the staff at this location are very friendly and literally did everything they could to make our extended stay comfortable

The breakfasts were amazing, the room was fantastic, and the facility was always clean and inviting The location of this hotel is convenient and lends itself to being family-friendly I made quite a few friendships during this stay, both with staff and with fellow guests I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a clean, quiet hotel that is close enough to the airport without all of the noise and traffic of some of the places that are literally next to the airport proper

Lee Hill

My wife and I used to manage hotels so we know what’s up This place was great even though we got in super late The night audit did a great job of explaining everything and getting us checked in quickly

The lobby, fitness, hallways and our room were clean The bed was comfortable and the room and hallway were quiet We’ll be back when we visit family near by

Danny Meyer

We were there to vote Took the opportunity to observe while there Nice place and clean even though there was a lot of people

If I had company visiting and needed space I would certainly seriously consider this place Even though we were there for voting the staff was outstanding offered us to set and rest with a cup of coffee Rare customer interaction in todays times

With the exception of no restaurant/food service or bar, minor shower door issue and false alarm to evacuate at after 06:00 am issueJose was polite with a speedy check-in My room was beautiful with modern decor, crisp clean and eco friendly features

Giving good vibes of a comfortable relaxing stay

Jenny Pav

The breakfast is $5 and is very limited Make yourself a waffle, bread or yogurt was the basic offering I saw The restaurant and bar was not open during our stay

I assume this is left over from Covid times Does not look like the are prepared to be open anytime soon IMPORTANT: They do not offer shuttle service to IAH as the website states I did have an odd charge but the front desk in the morning took care of it quickly and efficiently

Tish Valka Delgadillo

Pictures can be deceiving This hotel was not what my co-worker and I expected It started with driveway leading up to hotel had enormous potholes

Make it inside and they are having plumbing issues, WiFi goes in and hotel so the room keys (cards) doesn’t always open your room door Bring your own pillow cause they are flat and no support My ac in my room made loud gurgling noise like it was on its way out I believe this hotel is in a bad part of town You would see people hanging out and walking around the parking lot drinking beer in a brown bag Nope- never again!

All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful At breakfast I notice a woman let the staff know one of the juices wasn’t mixed/made right And the staff quickly address the issue

The room was clean but it is an older room Smelled a bit wet The ac was extremely loud and didn’t work probably We would still stay again Price and location very convenient

Gabriella Dennis

My dad, mom, and I attended a Family Reunion; we stayed at the hotel Mr Cliff (desk clerk) had good customer service and accommodated us with another room because our first room was leaking

Ms Shon ( desk clerk) was also fantastic; she was over and above as desk clerk Always with a smile And Mrs Dora, the cook for breakfast, the cook eggs was on point The best eggs in a hotel I ever tasted due to the cleanness of the hotel and customer service It was just a two-night stay just because that five stars

Lisa Hudson

I had people come in from out of state and I booked this hotel from Monday June 20th until until June 26th I got to know the receptionist and the manager over the cleaning crew the staff is AMAZING! Our room felt damp so I let the receptionist know and within 5 mins the manager over the cleaning crew was at our door and so we let her know that the water in the shower won’t turn off all the way needless to say it was fixed I do dialysis and both of these nice ladies would check on me and make sure I was ok I had stayed here before in 2010 and I will say since then this hotel has changed it is being remodeled but we never heard anyone banging on the walls etc! I am looking to book a room for this weekend and I will be rebooking with them

So if u are flying into bush airport I recommend this hotel I do know I had to extend our stay from June 24th u til the 26th and I got a good deal on the room it was 20800 and normally some hotels will change ur room thank god we didn’t have to I did book a suit so it had a bedroom with 2 queen beds and a living room with a couch that also turned into a bedOne other thing I loved how this hotel was by target, hobby lobby, the mall, and on the other side of the freeway there is other shops like old navy I think tj max justice etc

This review is based on my stay from 2/2021, during the freeze I have nothing but amazing things to say about the staff They were able to accommodate my family at 6 am when our power had gone out

We were needing to find a safe, clean place to stay with our 3 day old infant I also do not believe they charged us extra even though we checked in so earlier The breakfast was decent, which was important since we could not get out and about We would definitely recommend this location to our family and friends

SJ Ventura

The hotel itself was very nice and the staff are friendly My concern was that there were some very, very obnoxiously loud and rude guests in my immediate area and when I complained – I was told those guests are frequent visitors if the hotel who cause problems each time they stay – but management simply cannot control who makes reservations If this is truly a continuing problem with the same guests, it needs to be addressed

When I came out of my room, there was food and trash all over the floor from those people I will not be staying again

Stayed in suite 420 and the smell of wet dirty carpet filled the room Lightning is poor The couch was nasty

We placed sheets on it as well as part of the floor to walk on it Breakfast was subpar Checked out after 3 nights into our 8 day stay Would not recommend this hotel until a major renovation is completed Only positive is the staff They were all very friendly and we could see that we were not the first to ever complain about the smell of our room The lady at the front desk described the smell to us once we complained about the smell

Tyler Pohla

Place needs many improvements, rooms need repairs and we had to move rooms DURING the middle of our stay because of some repair issues, we then went to another room and had several other issues including: cracked window looking outside, lighting issues in bathroom and tv also not working Breakfast in the morning was also not good quality The pool also was very green, very unusual and no one was seen cleaning it

Rooms are also very loud, so sometimes it can be hard to sleep One good thing is that the beds were very comfortable to sleep on Overall the money was not worth our stay

Congetta Williams

Ms Essie was the most sweetest lady I never had to do reservations before she said don’t worry I got you

She took my information and when I arrived she welcomed with with the biggest smile 😃 and her attitude was overwhelming My room was very clean and stocked I hated to be on the 4th floor but I did request 2 beds Breakfast was better than I thought When I’m traveling again i will be calling her again I hope to see her in September

Although this location is a bit dated on the outside, all around 5 star experience once I walked through the doors Entire staff was friendly and welcoming Rooms were very clean, with very comfortable bedding

Great water pressure Breakfast was a true delight, very specifically due to the staff Friendly, always smiling, and always quick with a refill I wish I could hire the breakfast staff so that I could start every day this way Well done

We went for the Chess tournament and stayed in this hotel as this is where the tournament was taken place We had a very nice experience All the staff were very helpful

It was really neat and clean everywhere The ambiance was very pleasant The whole hotel was jam packed for the chess tournament but it was not noisy at all All were minding their business We will stay here if we get to go again Over all the Houston people are very cool peopleBy the way the rooms were cleaned even without us asking regularly at 11 am Unlike some women who wrote online about the hotel and the recent changes in basic amenities recently about the hotel chain especially about the Hilton hotel chain that they are not providing anything But it is not true to this hotel as i personally experienced last weekend that the house keepers come to every room and cleans the rooms, changes the bed sheets, keeps new towels, toiletries, and clears the trash I literally witnessed it since I had to sit outside the hallway waiting for my kids to come from the tournament :)only one comment is: The restaurants could have some vegetarian/vegan items for guests like us including morning breakfast We had to go outside to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner for our entire stay over there because they didn’t have anything for the vegetarians/vegan except one veggie pizza option and that also was not there on second day which they took it out from their menu BUT The two beautiful Black ladies who working in the restaurant helped us and specially made some veggie fajitas without chicken and alfredo sauce pasta without chicken (they first brought with chicken though) Over all it was a great experience Thank you Double Tree and the Staff

Josh Quick

I don’t want to be too wordy but I want to share what I liked, what I didn’t like, and give my overall impressionWhat I liked:The bed was comfortable to sleep in and it’s convenient because of airport access but that’s about all it has going for it Actually, I should add the staff were pretty friendly and made it more of a pleasant stay

What I didn’t like:They have shuttles to and from the airport but be careful, we waited for 20 minutes and finally one of their shuttles showed up saying it’s from the Sheraton It did not identify that it’s from double tree at all We ended up taking an uber Somehow you’re just supposed to know that the Sheraton is for double tree as well I wasn’t too big of a fan of the carpet in the room and they don’t offer any room service The TV was okay Just channels and no apps or any casting abilityOverall, if you just need a place to stay it’s not a bad spot and convenient from the airport But if you want to dial it up on the luxuries, I would look elsewhere

This hotel is not at the same level as others under the same name For the price, I expect higher quality The hotel itself has a small layout, making many areas feel claustrophobic

I had a suite, which was also small The AC in my room did not work The front desk sent up a fan, and with the one I had brought with me, that made the room bearable The breakfast was terrible, terrible On a positive note, housekeeping was on their game in keeping the entryway freshly mopped

Elizabella Ruiz

After me and my toddler son missed our connection flight , we booked a room here and let me tell you it did not disappoint Staff was beyond friendly and helpful, and let me tell you they had to deal with a lot of disgruntled exhausted travelers They were so kind helping with any and all questions

And the room was clean spacious and all around very pleasing Definitely recommend this hotel to any and all travelers

Mark Beddes

Wow, what a difference a day makes We thought we’d have a nice evening at the pool on our last night in Houston So we returned our rental car and waited 1 and 1/2 hours for the shuttle from this hotel to pick us up! No apologies or explanations

Then when we got to the hotel (finally!), The pool was disgusting It was nasty green The next morning was totally different the shuttle driver came in early to take our family to the airport and the guy at the front desk even gave our kids a few apples since we were missing the breakfast Hence the two stars instead of one Either way, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you need a shuttle or a pool If you just need a place to sleep the room was nice

Everett and Andrea were amazing We had a large group stay at this location totaling about 6 suites They made sure everyone was happy with their room and greeted us every time we came and went by name

My TV wasn’t initially working and Everett was on top of it and had it switched out immediately while seamlessly tending to other guests As titanium members, he has been the best manager our family has experienced at any location

Mary Brush

Everett is the one who checked me in And he gave the best food recommendations ever, he did not let me down, he was there late night and early mornings the whole time I stayed so I can tell he’s a super hard worker and I just really appreciated his good attitude and his chipper demeanor I think this guy needs a raise because he’s definitely bringing the vibes

Thank you Everett!Edit: the pool is now open and, and last night I had drinks by the fire V vibey

I had an assignment in Kingwood, TX for a couple months I was searching for places at a cheaper rate for a lengthy stay but clean and good customer service I spoke with the attendant and was told to pay a regular rate for 3 nights and after the 3 nights I was given a genuine weekly rate

At the end of the 3 nights I go downstairs and the manager/ possibly owner was at the desk She initially acted as if she had never heard of the rate I was attempting to pay Later during the conversation this rate was offered on certain rooms and the room was not available During this same conversation the night attendant should have not offered the rate because he was in training and quoted it incorrectly… the list goes on and on… I let her know I was quoted a price and stayed there to receive it and it wasn’t my fault an employee in training was left alone to run the front desk She did not bend on the price at all I made calls to corporate and she offered one night for the quoted rate Needless to say I kindly departed the facility Found a better lodging deal and enjoyed my stay in the area The Better Business Bureau is the next to hear from me So totally uncalled for and horrible CUSTOMER SERVICE

I’m going to give this 4 out of 5 stars Mainly because the price was a bit high for 2 queen beds Overall this place was seriously great

The front desk staff are very sweet and professional I couldn’t thank them anymore for their kindness and over all warm hearts This is what we really needed that night we had no where to go A smile and kind words can really change someone’s life Thank you all for everything Including the cleanliness, and free breakfast lol if we could afford it, we would have definitely stayed longer Overall, we were extremely satisfied

Worst stay I’ve ever had I’m not sure why people give it a good rating Maybe they’ve never been anywhere else? I wanted to leave my first night of a 7 day stay

Sketchy neighboring people Riff-raff people up all night standing outside talking and smoking right outside my door You can hear people walking It shakes the floor The bed and pillows are horrible The noise from the traffic is extremely loud The room had 2 rolls of toilet paper that each had about less than 20 squares left on them The “breakfast”looks risky I didn’t even try it

Very decent for the price If you’re looking for a clean, safe area to stay in I recommend this place It’s newer and in a developed area with shops and a nice apartment complex adjacent to it

Every other hotel in the area was 15x the price I paid for this one on a weeknight The man checking me in was niceRooms have a spacious fridge and a microwaveThe four star is more about the details Room was clean from a glance but found stained sheets and a wad of gum on the wall The sheets were cleaned (could smell bleach/cleaner) but the stains showed (coffee or blood, not sure) Walls are very thin so bring a noise machine or a fan if you have issues with that Maybe ask for room 201 since it sits off alone by itself

I wanted to like this place, it’s fairly new and had a modern interior design which was nice But what was supposed to be a relaxing night turned into me literally getting NO sleep because the people above my room kept walking back and fourth in what sounded like heels I’m not sure if there was a gym above my room but all of the rooms next to me had no issues with noise…these people did this all the way until 5 am

There were also roaches at night that I trapped with a cup, in fear they’d end up in my bed Not a fun experience

My fiancé and I stay here almost every time we visit my in laws The front desk is really cool They are very helpful and chill

The location is prime for Kingwood Tons of food around and the movie theater is directly across street I would give it 5 stars, but sometimes the rooms are a little humid and that doesn’t do well for me, but everything else is great especially for the low price!

First of all the front desk staff was excellent! They welcomed me and my family! I’m a diamond member and they acknowledged that! I love the customer service! The hotel room was clean! Dominique was really nice and her co-worker (I can’t remember her name)! If you’re looking to stay at this hotel please don’t hesitate to book! I’m very picky when it come to hotels!

This is a really nice hotel, breakfast was exceptional, customer service is good The ONLY reason why I gave 3 stars is because the SHEETS in my hotel room were not clean, it had black lines, crumbs and stringy strands of thin hair in a made up bed (and a wiped down ring in the shower) However my family and I were accommodated with another room and the sheets were changed from the previous guest, I checked it out real good it was satisfying after a long night , All I can say is check your sheets not everyone works as hard as others to keep this hotel nice I will return soon but before I think about unpacking im doing an inspection!

We had a very comfortable stay The room had plenty of space for luggage; a nice sized room There were two desk areas on each side of the TV

On each desk, there were two power outlets and two USB ports There were bedside tables; each had two power outlets and two USB ports; plus pullout platforms to put your phone or device Basically, you don’t have to look around for some place to plug in your phone! The staff was friendly The breakfast was nice, with a large area to sit A nice place
