Was in between house closings and needed somewhere to stay for 2 weeks with my cats The assistant manager Chris was accomodating and helpful when making the reservations The entire staff was consistently super helpful and friendly my entire stay

The room needed some love for sure The bathroom door didn’t shut all the way or lock, there were several blood stains on the comforter, and i had to wash all of the dishes because they were dirtyIt was quiet, peaceful and in a convenient locationOverall I was happy with my stay and would stay there again if needed If you need somewhere to stay with your [well behaved] cats, I definitely recommend this place!

Very okay experience Let’s start with the positives:-clean-gluten free muffins at breakfast! Free breakfast!-nice layout of rooms – just enough space-proximity to the interstate and Minneapolis are both very good-nice location with stores and restaurants close byCons:-beds are very uncomfortable-noisy – you can hear people above you just walking and people in the hallway Not super uncommon but just something to note

You can’t hear conversations so that’s good-limited parking-poorly marked front office

My son is a traveling healthcare worker and has been staying at this hotel for 5 months and every weekend they rerun his room charges and charges him the full rate instead of the one they quoted him so his bank account is overdrawn each week until it gets straightened out He can’t buy food or gas or pay bills until they fix it I would never recommend this hotel to anyone

This was an interesting experience – one I will NOT be repeating This location appears to be an apartment complex converted into hotel rooms So, there are many separate buildings that you have to navigate to find your room

The good news is the buildings are only 2 stories high, but the bad news is stairs only And the buildings smell old and dirty If you don’t have a car, you may want to warn them up front so you don’t get a building at the other end of the complex Additionally, the layout of the room and the placement of furniture makes watching TV in bed incredibly difficult Room did not smell, AC worked and bathroom set up was decent Breakfast was as expected but the main building was extremely warm (like AC wasnt working) and uncomfortable to sit and eat breakfast

The hotel is clean and the staff is helpful and kind, but the apartment I stayed in, downstairs, is terrible – no natural light, extremely dark, depressing Also, I could hear footsteps in the apartment upstairs, as if there was an elephant walking on the ceiling And it wasn’t a problem with the person, because I switched apartments, to another one on the ground floor, and had the same issue

The breakfast was just ok – few options and the bananas were always looking perfect but black inside

If you are thinking you are going to have a “Hampton” experience at this hotel, STAY CLEAR My room was dreadful Within the first hour, this is what I noticed: Long black hair, (I have short blonde) in the bathroom sink, tub, and spare bed

A HUGE crack in the bathroom sink, and the room phone was stained so yellow it looked like it had been pulled out of a smoker’s convention that it had been sitting at for 10 years Needless to say, I checked out two days early, the place was so so disgustingI wish I could do a half star on here, one star is being too generous

Double check your booking before getting there to make sure the payments are all set up and there is no extra fees for your key card in the event it is deactivated Besides that everyone is friendly and the breakfast is the best The rooms are super clean and smells so good

I’m talking fluffy Belgium waffles, French toast, sausage, bacon, bagels cereal, eggs, juice and let’s not forget the ☕

Brandon Ebensteiner

The hotel was fine, looked nice on the surface but definitely not maintained at all Our room had a busted divider frame in the seating area as well as a broken closet door mirror I let the front desk know about it immediately apon us checking into our room, they said they would let maintenance know right away

we stayed 4 days and it was never addressed The other negative part was the pool, my daughter was only able to swim once due to the extremely over chlorinated water It was hard to sit in there it was so bad Her eyes burned for days after swimming in thereThe staff was friendly The room was clean, it is just sadly starting to get run down from what I can tell

The casino staff are extremely helpful to everyone They didn’t just give me directions they took me there Weekday prices were very reasonable

The bingo hall was way too cold for me Jacket temperature They don’t sell food in there so I got pretty hungry A few more signs about which direction places are would’ve been very helpful They rent scooters for those of us that need them and not overly expensive either I had a very enjoyable time other than the cold

Mark R. Wojahn

All the staff that I encountered were friendly and very helpful! Loved the smoke-free gaming area I’m not much of a gambler, but have avoided casinos over the years due to the smoke Glad they made a separate area for smokers

Took in a show at the Mystic Showroom and stayed one night in a Promenade Tower room which was modern, clean, and spacious Great experience overall!

Robby Seigler

Kinda pricey, but was well worth the costs The steakhouse is SUPERB with excellent staff and some world class chefs (try the salmon, and yes medium is PERFECT for the Salmon) I recommend that if you’re going to eat at the Steakhouse, make a reservation

On busy nights, it might be difficult to get a table Definitely on my lists of places to visit again in the future

The staff are more than pleasant they are extremely friendly and accommodating It is not a “ modern” hotel however it has been kept with great care and it shows Incredible clean, organized, and comfortable

Just want to say THANK YOU👍👍🤗🤗 to Eleanor at the front desk for finding me a room at 11:30pm after Fairfield Inn in Shakopee gave mine away (with no notification) and everywhere else was already booked up She was fantastic on the phone, held the room for me with no credit card while I frantically drove there, and was so incredibly sweet and accommodating that I wanted to cry tears of relief Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

I was a participant in a three day seminar at this hotel, and found it exceptional- every member of the staff was accommodating – from maintenance to housekeeping to servers to front desk and more The level of service provided in this era of short staffing was truly remarkable

I had the sense that everyone was “all in” to make our experience great- the food was delicious – every bit of it, whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner- the facility is outstanding: comfortable, quiet sleeping rooms with good mattresses, and meeting rooms that are well lit with good climate control

ShaQuana Terry

The hotel stay was nice Toby the front desk manager was very pleasant and made sure my stay was going good especially because it was a stressful check in process! There were two things that made my stay difficult the air conditioning didn’t get very cool in the room and the microwave was by the front desk which made feeding a infant difficult Otherwise, everyone was very nice I also appreciated the complimentary bottled water

Travel Reviews

We stayed three nights and thoroughly enjoyed them The check-in experience was quick and easy The hotel has a large lobby area with a restaurant and a bar

There’s a comfortable seating area in the lobby with a few work stations, a tv/couch area, and a couple of gathering tables The hotel has a second inner area that contains a pool and a hot tubThe hotel is everything you would expect from a front line Sheraton Hotel with an attached Conference Center The staff was excellent and very accommodating as they allowed us to store our bicycles in the office area and cheerfully allowed us to eat in the lobby area with our dogs Bonus: dogs stay free through the end of the summer on a special promotion! Hats off to our morning server Mario who truly went out of his way to make sure that we had an enjoyable stayOur room was clean and for the first time in a few years had normal daily servicing by the staff Another good sign that things are returning to normal after covidNote that this hotel does not have ice machines but they give out free ice in bags in the small concession area next to the check-in deskThis is one of the better hotels I have ever stayed at that allows dogs There are many grassy areas around the hotel to walk them and they have waste receptacle on the left side of the hotel toward the backWe definitely plan to stay here next time we pass through Minneapolis

Great place but the service was awful We got with my wife to the hotel around 1:30AM , my father in law reserved a room for 3 nights for us, the woman attending in the front desk KIM I believe was her name, at the check in gave us the answer (at 1:30 AM) “You have to call who did the reservation” , we told her that we were going to try but probably he wasn’t going to answer… He didn’t answer, 1:30AM… After I told her that she should give us the options of answer security questions like the address of the person who reserved the room She finally accepted that we should have the option to answer that question and we answered right but she still mentioned we needed to call him, and after it she said “You put him in the phone or you have to leave” Being super mean

By the end she told us we can stay but we will have to pay the night and tomorrow when we confirm the other person reserved for us we can refunded We tried to show her pictures, chat, stories, even our wedding planning in 2020 with the person who did the reservation and she still remained with the NO, at 1:30 AM First time I have a situation like this in Marriott Even I can understand her position, but her attitude was awfulPlease guys pick a different place to stay in MinneapolisAlso when we got to the hotel, a woman with 3 kids was facing the same situation than us and the response from Kim (woman attending the front desk) was “the name of the person who did de reservation has to match with the credit card you’re using here for the security deposit” without giving even the option to confirm by security questions of who reserved the room and also the lady that was trying to check in had the person who did the reservation in the phone… And she still say no with excuse of the credit card Absolutely contradictory with the scenario she created for my wife and ISo sad that a fantastic day had a scar of this type

Heather Green

The sound of the freeway is so loud That combined with the very lumpy beds that have zero lumbar support kind of ruined my entire trip They even moved me to a different room but it really wasn’t any better

I am really sad because it was my first time going to Minnesota and I spent a lot of money to come out here and I literally couldn’t even take myself out to dinner most of the nights because I was too tired from lack of sleepAlso my bedding was dirty in two rooms The staff was very nice though, but if you are not able to sleep through loud constant noise, it really doesn’t matter I would never stay at this particular hotel again I’m so bummed out that I picked this place when I could’ve picked any Marriott in the city… The only reason I chose to stay so far out of Minneapolis is because I thought it would be quieter I’m so exhausted and my back hurts so badly I’ve been sleeping sideways at the foot of the bed trying to find a firm spot on the mattress that gives some lumbar support, but tonight I’m going to try sleeping on the floor to see if it’s better I literally started trying to sleep at 5 PM tonight since I have not slept for the last three nights but I still can’t sleep through the sound of the traffic I’m so sad and it totally ruined my entire trip for the most part Beautiful place to visit but make sure you stay at a hotel you can actually sleep at and that has comfortable beds I have a feeling it’s gonna take at least a week for my back to recover I am so much pain… I’m sad and I just want to complain a lot, LOL

This place was not immune to this post covid society – recently re-opened because of lack of staff, no breakfast (even though it said there was on the website), no turn down service unless requested, ONE luggage cart (minor but inconvenient detail), the pool said it was closed until further notice but I saw people swimming during the middle of the day Would have been nice for my toddler and I to swim so we weren’t cooped up in the room all day The room itself was clean enough when we arrived and the beds were comfy, and the staff was kind which is why they are at least getting 3 stars

I hope things get better soon for this hotel!

This hotel is in need of a refresh/update Hasn’t changed or updated anything for a long time My company is just down Shady Oak Rd

and I have informed our office to avoid this hotel and shift back to Eden Prairie for lodging The staff was nice after you got them to come out of the office My room needed to be refreshed/updated especially the bathroom The Breakfast was limited and the evening offering was Pizza No housekeeping during your stay I don’t live like that at home and for the rate you pay for these rooms I expect more I am a Diamond Member and felt slighted at this hotel, Your status perks stopped at reserved parking and the staff made no effort to make you feel valued I travel for a living and stay in many hotels domestically as well as internationally which affords me to see the disparity between locations and hotels which are often identical in brand and accommodations Most hotels are franchised but should have some standards required upon a franchisee

Roger Brown

Have been staying here every week for 13 weeks on a company project Staff here takes care to make sure I have everything I need The only issue is the routine for room cleaning doesn’t make sense

I check out every Friday morning and back on Sunday night They clean my room every Thursday I had requested that all rooms under our company reservation to be cleaned on Wednesday It makes no sense to clean on Thursday then I check out Friday morning You have to clean again for weekend rentals Wouldn’t Wednesday be a more logical day to clean? Lastly, they know I reserve weekly but only leave two coffee pods and two paper coffee cups Have to ask at front desk and they are only allowed to give out two at a time BTW, I am a Diamond Elite customer

Stayed here nye last year Good view from the windows, staff was nice, everything was clean Only downside was that my work was literally right outside the window

But I didn’t have to drive so ehBed was very comfortable and clean I think I remember something about the bathroom but it wasn’t a big enough deal to remember- or warrant losing a star over We had a good time with the free cable and rang in the new year with a nice comfortable place I saw other people on our floor but never heard anything outside our door

Liz Blackwell

Clean rooms, nice staff, free breakfastOkay for 1 night and only if you don’t have existing issues sleeping Easy to find location, options for food around the area and late pool hours

Nice water pressure and temperature and very comfy bed I will say that I was at least very happy that the IHG Way of Clean is taken seriously As a former IHG employee, I thank you for thatKnocked stars because: extremely noisy environment from both indoor hotel noise and the freeway, loud housekeepers, pancake machine broken as per usual at IHG properties, TV didn’t work (not a big deal for me personally but may affect another guest’s stay), etc

Beth Powers

My brother’s stayed here when visiting from out of town They said best thing was breakfast The pool is so cold

The jacuzzi was lukewarm/cool first dayok secondthird day it was super low in water An elevator was broke Things like coffee pods not refilled every night Daily room service was disappointing Great location but mediocre hotel

A decent hotel with ok beds The kids enjoyed the small pool while we went in the hot tub to relax from a long day Hot breakfast is provided

They had scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, muffins, bagels, toast, cereal, waffles, etc Also provided, was a variety of juices as well as coffee & tea One thing I noticed that I would change is that they should leave the hot water dispenser on for those who enjoy an evening cup of tea After a soak in the hot tub, I went to make a cup of tea only to realize that the water was cold Overall, I’d stay again We had no real issues

Yolanta Holmes

Room was large and clean; children loved the pool and hot tub; breakfast buffet selection was very extensive, and the manager was great: I had a work meeting and planned to dial in from the business center off the reception, but he invited me to use the private board room instead An excellent stay all round, and we will definitely return
