Hotel was great

I really enjoyed my stay at the Courtyard Marriott, the room was very clean and presentable and my nights there were very quiet and peacefulIf there was any area I would say could be improved it would be the food offerings at the restaurant The staff was awesome but the variety of food could be betterThank You Marriott I will definitely stay there again and highly recommend this place!!

This hotel was Fabulous!! My husband and I had checked into another hotel that was dirty Arriving at the Courtyard Marriott was a relief Gabby upgraded us to a suite

The fact that they have a Bistro with Starbucks coffee was a plus!! We had a delicious breakfast Everyone was friendly The room was clean And spacious This is definitely our place to stay when we visit the area

P L

This is absolutely the worst Marriott locations I’ve ever stayed at There was never anyone working the front desk I literally stood at the front desk for 10 minutes calling the hotel trying to check in They fail to mention that you need to request service if you want your room cleaned

I requested half way through my one week stay after learning this but never got service Now I’ve called the hotel twice tonight trying to get a copy of my receipt and been put on hold for 10 minutes both times This place needs a complete overhaul of management and front desk employees

It was great for us however be prepared if you booked on bookingcom your room will likely be “overbooked” and they will move you to a room that might not accommodate you and your family We reserved a 2 queen but upon arrival they said the only thing available was a king no sleeper sofa, after a few minutes of negotiation we were able to get a room that we needed and had another party moved around who had not arrived yet

The pool is very small but clean, the staff however is extremely nice, place overall was clean It was a good stay for us however I have never been “overbooked” using booking except here

First off, the staff and employees at this hotel are great— conscientious and exceedingly kind to everyone They try to do their level best given the limitations of this hotel Though the hotel advertises that it was renovated in November 2021, this is misleading at best— or they are attempting to create the Lil’ Rascals Club House aesthetic (and that is doing a disservice to that classic group of kids)

While the hotel is relatively clean, there are countless examples of very poor upkeep and maintenance Some have described it as dated, or worn, or perhaps threadbare I’d describe it as inexcusable for the money they want for these rooms There are other hotels in the area of comparable brand and price, and that’s where we will stay next time

Karen Rousey

The hotel was very welcoming Theia helped us throughout the time with assisting us with our needs House keeping was amazing Karen and the other ladies were prompt with great customer service with a five year-old I would give 10 stars if possible

Breakfast was great with the choice of hot and cold It was a clean area throughout The kitchen attendent was great Many of the workers spoke Spanish, so please tell them you made my family’s stay cation awesome

The room was a king bed with a sleeper sofa Room look good until we put are stuff down My son and wife sat on the sofa and it was wet

I opened the sofa bed up and the urine smell was bad I got a instant headache The sofa bed had stains from the still wet pee that my family touch They did move us to another room but it only had one bed for three adult size people Very uncomfortable! So I Don’t recommend this place at all The room cost $28800 for one night during the Memorial day weekend Saturday we check in left Sunday morning but still had to pay full price for the room WHAT! Yes even after my family touch urine Because the manager would not be available until Tuesday that’s what the staff told me So I contacted the manager and she said that she would take 20 percent off of the $28800 bill Really after my family touch someone else wet urine Not acceptable the night should have been free Really I DON’T recommend this place at all Check my you tube page out for video

Kimberly the manager was phenomenal to my whole entire family!!! We were traveling from Florida & I called her few days before our arrival to see if they can accommodate a few things for us and she made sure everything went as smooth as it can be It’s very rarely that you’ll come across genuine people like Kimberly I would recommend this hotel if your traveling to Stone Mountain it’s very clean they serve hot breakfast every morning & all the other staff are nice!!! Kimberly if your reading this thank you very much for everything and I will sure visit again when I’m in Georgia

DeWese DeWese

Nice, clean, comfortable; however, I didn’t like the roll in shower or the pillows I got a headache from sleeping on them Close to eateries

The room has a college refrigerator, and a microwave is very handy The price for the room was a little high, and the money they held on my credit card was high and unexpected Also, the amount of time that they hold it for is not reasonable 5 to 7 business days way too long!!!

Destinee’ Gregg

Let me start off by saying that I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN! This hotel is definitely not equipped correctly I stayed here for business and they didn’t make my stay very pleasant The housekeeping people are VERY LAZY

They like to snoop around your room but hesitant to clean the room, change linen and clean the bathroom with fresh towels I had my whole family with me during this visit so I would expect for the hotel to be top notch Some days that we did get towels they either were dirty or had hair on them The pillows had these blue stains that housekeeping allowed to stay on our beds We practically had to beg them to clean our room The whole entire staff is very unprofessional and rude especially the General manager ALTON! This young man is VERY DISRESPECTFUL! This man wanted to charge us $250 for a blanket that was in The babies crib because it had a stain on it They assumed it was a permanent marker which in fact it was a orange that our daughter was eating We got the orange out of their lobby where they serve breakfast Instead of asking us about the blanket they automatically tried to charge the card I know for a fact any type of food will come out of a blanket Instead of ALTON talking to someone in a professional manner he choose to be very rude and disrespectful I will never waste my money and my time ever again at this establishment If you know like I know please run far away from here I definitely learned my lesson and I will take my business and money to a better loyal hotel that treat their guest like they are supposed to be treated

THIS PROPERTY IS NOT A HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS I called from the road to book a room and was told they could not access my info and to give it to them to reserve a roomI was intentionally misled in believing that I had called a Holiday Inn Express

When we got to Conyers, we drove all around looking for the HIE, finally stopped and called the number posted I was then told WE USED TO BE but now we are a Best Western ImperialNice hotel, clean room Breakfast was alright however they did NOT have the cinnamon rolls that HIE made famous

T W

Booked two rooms here Was told we couldn’t book for Monday because it was past midnight so we arrived Tuesday morning only to be told we had to check out Tuesday after checking in early Tuesday morning The never offer to charge a early check in

They stated I would have to pay for Monday and Tuesday They also harassed my minors in the second room I booked when I had already made it clear that they were getting their own room at check in Tried to speak with the manager about it but was told she wasn’t available and that she was going to tell me the same thing At this point if I’m not contacted I will be taking this situation further

Rita Elijah

I’m here now The first room I checked into the curtains were broken The lady at the front desk was kind enough to give us another room

The second room seemed okay until the smell hit me Dust around the vents and chairs dirty I didn’t even bring my things in I’m so scared to go to sleep because I’m scared that something may bite me ( seen the review on bed bugs) The room really doesn’t seem clean If it wasn’t so late I would’ve kept driving 9 more hours to my destinationStayed two nights Last night the room was great

What a lovely resort, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! The location is incomparable, the view of the lake, Stone Mountain in the distance, and a pool deck that overlooks the lake view, it was really lovely! I came from Savannah to Stone Mountain to enjoy a weekend of hiking and biking If you are an outdoorsman, this resort has everything to enjoy in nature! The staff who checked me in were kind and attentive, especially Alex, who handled my check in and processing Dinner at the hotel’s restaurant was very nice, Frey was an absolute darling, and very attentive to her guests

I look forward to staying here again Rooms were very clean and well kept, and the hotel, while a little dated, is well kept, organized and clean as well

Kelley Guest

Beautiful Hotel, severely understaffed For a resort be prepared to find your own dolly and cart your own luggage When I say find your own dolly, I mean search the entire resort and floors

That staff was friendly, just overwhelmed The only time it seemed as a resort was when there was a convention Despite this, the breathtaking mountains and scenery made up for this The restaurants were pricey but good and also understaffed The pools were great and both hot tubs were nice I enjoyed my stay and would return

Cynthia Tolbert

I loved mostly everything about my trip to Atlanta Evergreen My room was very nice, however the balcony was dirty The view from the balcony was awesome

The lake and the people on the lake and the sounds of the animals were relaxing On a sour note, an article of clothing was stolen from my room I must add on a positive note the food was excellent! I will revisit👍

Clean and spacious rooms, wonderful views and continental breakfast Needs a bit of updating but has the old classic feel that the park is supposed to give off Staff was helpful and very friendly

You do have to pay $20 to get into the park and you still have to pay to do all the other things in the park such as the laser show and other activities

Rhina Castillo

I’m giving 5 stars based on location (right across the street from the light show, water play and dinotaurium), cleanliness, value for price and service The building is dated, but it’s comfortable and had a nice sized pool We were traveling with two small children ages 3

5 and 5 so this place was ideal as we did not spend much time in our room The room is huge with a large bathroom and living area which allowed enough room for them to get their energy out Property is surrounded by beautiful lawn and scenery My husband took a relaxing morning run All in all, it fit everybody in the family’s needs

Kim Hubbard

To start with my room was nasty, the bathroom looked someone had been mud wrestling in the tub and the ceiling had a hole above the shower head After being moved to another room, we had no towels and it took about an hour to get enough for two people and there were three of us Then later that night we had to call the maintains person to come and plunge the toilet

Most of the staff acted like they had no ideal what to do in any situation Would not recommend this hotel to anyone

Great personnel and nice rooms: tidy and clean The breakfast is included and rich of many options Every day a different hot meal is served, including fruits, yogurt, cereals, juices, waffles and the beloved as well as necessary coffee

Basically it is very hard not to find what you want Plenty of parking spacesThe only reason I could not make it 5 star is because of the music at the entrance of the building I was in a room on top of it and it was continous and annoying until late night and starting from very early in the morning Even though people might be pleased to walk in accompanied by some great music, it really can be heard (especially the basses) all night long If I had to stay longer I would have asked to change room Make sure you don’t pick any room close to the main entrance!Everything else was perfect

Mimi E

I would not recommend this hotel, especially while it is being remodeled It is a mess! Dust is everywhere The parking lot is full of materials and machines

Watch your tires! The workers began working and moving things around at 7:00AM Two of our pillow cases were NASTY! They had something GROSS on them We notified the desk attendant of our nasty pillow cases She walked with us to the room and was appalled too She took pics and notified the manager Hampton Inn you’re much better than this!!!!!

We chose this location because it was 1/2 way to our final vacation spot We stayed one night in a pet friendly room with our kids and our small dog

it was really clean, didn’t have a pet smell and the beds were comfy Breakfast was delicious and there was a variety to choose from! The lady that checked us in was very nice and friendly If we are ever in the area, we’ll stay again!

Nancy Cifuentes

3 months ago, Christmas, I said it was great I’m not sure what happened this visit I even bragged to my daughter who also stayed during this visit as wellI select it because it’s pet friendly and includes a good breakfast

The coffee each time I checked was cold (Ugh! If you’re a “morning must have my coffee person”)So we went out for breakfast since the eggs were also gone too Probably were refilled but we waited and left The breads were stale including 2 bagels that were left which clearly HAD MOLD!!!!We asked for extra towels and since we left the do not disturb they were left on the floor of the room It’s understandable that they were left out but why would I use towels on my body that were left on the floor?! Maybe inside a bag would be a suggestion I’d like to makeThe price was about $139 but I had a deal for $129 I guess these days that’s the going rate for an inn?The fridge in the room doesn’t closeAnyways maybe it was just bad timing and things happen That’s my experience so far

Sara Lee

I was pleasantly surprised of the cleanliness, front desk staff, and free breakfast We did a last minute reservation and choose by the star rating This hotel was tied with one other one, only 3

5 We chose this one because we are Hilton members I give it 5 and I am picky!! 🤣 Thanks Jaleia and Yolanda at front desk who does everything and is precise about it

The hotel itself is directly on an exit, which I never saw mentioned in any comments If you miss it then you have to go in a loop around town and back again to the hotel, it’s not the worst thing but I missed it a couple times! The hotel is older and that can be seen in things from the key cards, the fridges in the rooms, and more but it’s just the average wear and tear over the years Our room was very clean and we did not have any difficulties with it

I am not sure why but for whatever reason our bed was slightly slanted, we asked for some extra pillows at the front desk and it fixed the problem right up! With that said, the bed being slanted did not affect our overall experience and the bed was still comfy! The staff themselves were amazing! All of the gentlemen at the front desk were kind and answered all of our questions They even have laundry services (washer and dryer) for guests and will give guests quarters in exchange for dollars if needing to do laundry I am honestly very thankful as I have had terrible hotel experiences in the past and my husband and I had a 6 hour drive to Ga for work It was nice to not have a bad experience and workers that cared to make the best of our stay!

Ladasiah Jackson

I had an great stay at this hotel The staff were just so genuinely nice to me The maid gave me fresh towels right out of the dryer when I made a request

I mean these towels were so warm and cozy it was like being at home and she gave me a big stack of them!!!! The handyman was very sweet when he came to do a repair He even let me watch him make the repair Everyone always said hello when you passed by them in the hallway or lobby Even the other guests were super friendly Breakfast was ok It was standard stuff Yogurt, coffee, fruit, etc The hotel is right in the middle of some great local restaurants so I enjoyed my doordash meals Overall, this is a very good hotel especially if you are on a budget

We have stayed here before on past visits to see family It has always been a pleasure to stay here Once again, the staff did not disappoint us on this brief family visit to attend a funeral

Upon entering the lobby, we were greeted right away by the front desk Olivia informed us we were upgraded to the queen suite and again welcomed us back to the area The room was 100% clean and it was completely quiet during our overnight stay Every staff member we encountered was extremely polite Thank you for always providing us great stay each time we visit the area

Summer Savvy

I’ll start by saying the staff were superb and kind but that’s where it stopped (Not advertised) but the pool was closed despite visiting in May The room above us was having a party after quiet hours and they were jumping off furniture, dancing to loud music etc

We had to call, go downstairs and complain in person many times and then eventually we were told the police was coming and situation was handled but not before my kids were woken up several times When we woke up for the breakfast (our incentive to stay at Holiday Inn express with kids is their big hot breakfast) the Pancake machine was broken, the cinnamon bun machine was off, they rationed the yogurt cups, and there was no fruit of any kind, it was an extremely disappointing stay I don’t recommend it The only thing I can say was every staff member I interacted with was very kind

Jordan Bryant

Walked in to check in waiting for about 3 minutes for a young man to come to the desk His customer service was mediocre We got to our room and it was already open

Check the room for cleanliness 1 queen bed was good the other the sheets were dirty We also needed to use the pull out bed The mattress should’ve been thrown in the trash it was dirty had all kind of stains and crumbs on it The bathroom had hair all in the shower The towels had hair on them It was my sons 16th birthday weekend so I wasn’t going to make a big fuss plus the stay was only for 1 night and we were going to be out most of time We went to Walmart before coming in for the night and got some snacks and drinks also had our leftover food from Stockyard only to find out that the mini fridge does not get cold! I also called before booking inquiring about the pool and was assured that the pool was open and could be accessed That was a lie because once the kids went down to get in they were told by the staff that the pool was closed and would be open in a few weeks This is the worst experience I’ve had with a hotel in years Highly disappointed and someone should be held accountable because this experience was the absolute worst

Rooms were decent, needs a little updating TV in living room only got 4 stations but TV in bedroom got them all Lights were very dim, bathroom door handle was loose

I requested a playpen when I made the reservation and I appreciate that they had a brand new one out of the box they handed me, but I had to assemble the feet and there wasn’t a sheet for it For reference of the picture my baby is 7 months old, so it wasn’t a full size playpen Breakfast starts at 6:30 which was perfect, but they only had out some items As we were eating they were bringing more out So really everything was probably done by 7am Beds were comfortable and we got a good night’s sleep Staff was nice

Tammy Alexander

I would not recommend staying at this hotel This hotel has roaches and the employees are aware of the problem During my second night at 12:30AM a roach crawled across my bed

I went downstairs to let the hotel staff know and the lady at the front desk said “we have a bug problem” The lady had no name tag or uniform on I asked if I could change rooms and she said they didn’t have any other rooms available I asked her for the managers information and she was only able to provide an email address I emailed the manager and received no response I also saw one in the lobby area and near the ice machine

Joanie Elrod

The hotel smelled like pot for starters Yeah, great impression for my kids! The pullout mattress has some seriously gross stains The coffee pot in the room was FULL OF MOLD! Not just a little bit, but clearly hasn’t been checked in a month

The front desk staff just sets a sign out and hides in the backBreakfast was subpar and not what you are thinking based on the descriptionAnd the best part – the indoor pool that is advertised, ummm totally drained and closed So they know that you are booking based on an indoor pool, but they know they have it drained False advertising much????
