Stayed for a work event in the area – there were five of us total The customer service provided by Harold and the rest of the staff was amazing This is one of the best Hilton properties I have ever stayed in

Harold was responsive to emails even on his day off Because I was coordinating stays for five people, he went the extra mile to make sure everything was organized Hotel was clean and rooms were spacious We ate at the restaurant all three nights and food was fantastic Wait staff consistent and friendly Nice breakfast in the morning Loved Axis!

Jocelyn Marables

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay The staff members were all extremely welcoming and valued my comfort I greatly appreciate the interior aesthetic of the hotel

It was like none otherAlso, I recommend that you get to know Brian, the bartender He is an amazing individual He single handily amplified my stay experience

Laurie Sherman

Our recent stay at the Axis was a great experience! The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating! The restaurant food was fantastic! The restaurant was closed during the week for lunch, but there are several great restaurants within walking distance They have convenient free parking, and the rooms were very nice and clean We even booked the banquet room for a family dinner (25 people) with little lead time, and Alysia was a rock star! She made sure all details were covered and had great communication throughout the planning of the event

This is now our go-to hotel in Moline!

Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was on the higher end of the hotel buffets, decor was nice inside and out, and the kids loved the indoor/outdoor pool We were there the one night a week (Sunday) the bar is closed, but it looked cool It was also in a nice area along the river and had a splash pad and little amphitheater plus some shops and restaurants just behind the hotel

Would definitely stay here again

Nichole Klinge

We stayed here a couple years ago and it was wonderful, very clean, staff was polite and the kids really enjoyed the pool That’s why when we needed a room for family from out of town, we thought of this place first We rented a king suite with jacuzzi tub

The staff was very nice upon arrival and polite when calling to discuss concerns When we entered the room it smelled of stale cigarette smoke Which was off putting, because we thought it was non-smoking The celling in the rooms bathroom and above the jacuzzi were water stained and paint peeling off The room seemed to be clean, just not well maintainedWe decided to go to the pool The water was cloudy in the pool, filled with floating long black hairs, leaves and even a cigarette bud floating in the water at the outdoor section of the pool There were dirty towels laying around the pool room The plus side, the bathroom in the pool area was clean The hot tub looked like it was clean and safe to get into It was just a shame that the hot tub jets didn’t work No towels available either, tried to call the front desk from the pool area for towels and the phone in the pool room doesn’t work Made our way back to the room and it smelled like someone was smoking a cigar in the hallway and even stronger smell when we got into the room Called the front desk to notify them Service desk said they’d come check it out, never heard back Told them no towels in the pool room also and they said it was because of covid but we could come to the front desk and she’d give us some Wish they’d have told us before hand, we’d have stopped there before going to the pool On the plus side, the bed was very comfortable and breakfast served in the morning was was a welcomed pleasantry

Matthew Helmke

Staff were friendly Room was clean Hotel was mostly quiet (the hotel has no ability to control when kids play loudly or a woman screams with pleasure during sex)

Walls are not soundproof Typical stuff Breakfast was sad with weak options for the price level of the hotelI paid extra for a room with a hot tub, but had to call maintenance as the drain didn’t close rendering it useless To their credit, it didn’t take long to fix and the staff was responsive and apologetic (but didn’t offer a discount or anything) The window blinds were broken, so I couldn’t open or close them Wallpaper is peeling Carpets are loose and coming up Drapery brackets exist with no drapesTake a look at pics, especially the kicked in door to the bathroom How do you rent out a room in this condition? It’s not like the property was full

The hotel wasn’t what I was expecting My complaint though has to do with the payment process They double charged me for my stay

The first charge went through fine and cleared The second charge was pending and made my bank account appear to be negative As a result, other things I had paid for charged an insufficient funds fee Then charged me a second time for something that had already gone through and processed I called the hotel to try to get this taken care of The guy I spoke to (part of the management team) was not helpful at all All he could say was that the second charge wouldn’t really go through and would fall off within 48 hours He said to call my bank and have them release it I tried that and my bank said it wasn’t on their end so they couldn’t release it The second charge eventually appeared to go away, but not before other things I had paid for charged me a second time because they thought I had insufficient funds at the time of purchase when I really didn’t My bank account is all jacked up now I’m in the process of disputing charges Thanks a lot for the lack of help and for screwing around with my money

Our experience was overall positive Beautiful space with indoor and outdoor social areas to eat, play, grill and hangoutThe rooms are spacious and set up like a nice suite/studio

The beds were comfy with both soft and firm pillows Our room was very clean and nicely set-up Housekeeping provides daily care to remove trash…etcThe gym was a moderate size space with new well-maintained weights, treadmill, elliptical and bikes The pool and hot tub/jacuzzi were also clean & well-maintained Laundry is complimentaryBreakfast was more than just average waffle Included omelets or veggie omelettes, chicken sausage, oatmeal, muffins, yogurt and granola On sun, mon and Tuesday they have socials with snacks or food available late afternoonCustomer service was goodCons:- Tv channels would come in and out- conditioner was low in shower area

Travis Poulin

The backslash in the kitchen had old food on it, the carpet was worn and had holes in the seams and the rail on the refrigerator shelf was broken, causing a bottle to fall out and break on the floor Other than that, the place is nice The pool and hot tub worked as they were supposed to and the staff was extremely friendly

Im not sure the price was appropriate for the worn down feel the room gave out

Very nice room with a comfortable bed I didn’t take advantage of all the amenities as this room had a full kitchen with stove, microwave and full size fridge The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was clean

The only downside was lack of water pressure in the shower It was difficult to get a warm/hot temp and when you did the steam was weak I know a neighboring community was under a boil order at the time so I’m not sure if this had anything to do with the water issues I would definitely stay here again as everything else was great!

For this to be a “Residence” rooms are super small!! I’ve been in regular hotels that were way bigger Handicap room was on the second floor which made no sense Walls are super thin, you can smell everything everyone is cooking which becomes unpleasant

Windows and toilet leaked water When I noticed all the water coming in the Windows I noticed the windows weren’t locked! Looking out the window there’s the roof for 1st floor which would make it extremely easy for someone to just go out there window walk to another room with an unlocked window, go in your room and you would never know! LOCK YOUR WINDOWS!Room wasn’t stocked 1 bar of soap,, no bath soap,, towels are like sandpaper Yes there’s a dishwasher but no soap and no dish soap so I purchased my own Then I saw the housekeeper cart with tons of dishwasher soap, bottles of dish soap, bars of soap, makeup remover wipes, paper towels, tissue boxes,, disinfectant wipes!! Would have saved me some money if the room was actually stockedThe stove is a joke! Took over 3hrs to cook something that normally would take me 30 minutes or less to cookThe big eye barley heats up even turned up high as it could go, small eye worked better but cooks unevenly Did I mention the antsTV just randomly shuts offI guess it’s fine for 1 business person but more than that good luck Main bed, “living” room, desk, dining table, kitchen and bathroom all within 10 steps!Front desk staff is hardly at the desk A few of us had been waiting for so long one person started searching the hotel for anyone who worked there Pool is open until 10pm but staff closed it early Hotel computer and printer didn’t work Kids running in the hallways and playing on the elevatorI think it’s clear I won’t recommend nor stay there ever again

Dwayne R

I stayed here for 10 days while on business at Rock Island Arsenal Very friendly front desk people as well as the cook in the kitchen that greeted me each morning Always had a nice greeting going and arriving back each day from the hotel staff

Plenty of places to eat around the area all within about a 4 minute drive I have stayed here before about 4 or 5 years ago and will do so again if ever in the area I had a very pleasant stay!

Stayed there with my son for one night and got a suite Price for the suite was roughly $185 with taxes, so not a bad price, however, for a fairly new hotel, the rooms needed a lot of updating and work done The wallpaper was falling off the wall, the chairs were all chewed up on the corners, the faucet in the shower was just about hanging off and the tub didn’t drain at all

Gal at the front desk was pleasant, the rest of the staff were just kind of “meh” attitudes The pool and hot tub area was nice, however the hot tub was closed in the morning so my son was a little bummed about that because he wanted to swim and sit in the hot tub for a bit before we left, it would be nice if they could do that when the pool area was closed overnight Breakfast was good and the beds were comfortable Not the worst stay at a hotel we’ve had but with all of the other ones popping up in the area, think we’ll choose another one next time

My husband and I were in the QC for a wedding and needed a place to stay for the weekend This hotel is mediocre at best The only good thing is, well, nothing really

The bed was comfortable and that’s it There was hair in the shower and my husband found small bugs in the bed The TV wasn’t great and didn’t come with streaming capabilities which you’d expect for a Holiday Inn The doors were loud and slammed and the elevators smelled like weed from people who were coming in and out of the hotel At checkout when we told the front desk lady, she said “yeah, we’ve had some stinkers” What kind of response is that??? Pool wasn’t open either and the restaurant looked sterile Staying elsewhere next time Overpriced and VERY underwhelming Don’t waste your money, better off going to a motel down the street

Sheryl Buche

The lobby and restaurant/bar were beautiful The room also looked very nice However, the bed was hard and I woke with a sore back

There was no extra toilet paper in the room They did bring laundry bags up quickly as there were none in the closet The hot tub was closed for repairs The pool was nice but kind of cool on the temperature sideFood was good

Debbi Kibler

Check-in was very fast and friendly, the lobby was clean, great location I wish hotels would put signs on the room doors telling people not to slam them at all hours of the night because every time I fell asleep someone slammed a door and it woke me up I tried turning on the room fan but it made a grinding metallic noise, so I shut it off

The TV worked for about an hour, then said “no signal” so I called the desk and the man said he could come up and look at it but he didn’t know how to fix it, so I had no TV The water pressure at the bathroom sink was almost non-existent They didn’t tell me that there was a “master switch” that turned everything on in the room and I was wandering around in the dark wondering why none of the lights would turn on Definitely not worth the money, won’t stay there again

Disappointed that I spent twice what this place is worth There was garbage in the room under the tables, the pool heater was not working so the water was too cold to swim The pool is very small for a hotel this size anyway

Room door was hard to shut and someone walked in on accident! Outside you can smell the river, fridge was turned off and took hours to cool off We stayed 25 days and the garbage in the hall was still there when we left The door on fridge cabinet is broken so it took 2 hands each time to shut Lumpy bed with springs you could really feel, prison grade toilet paper, sink drained super slow Yes I kept a running list I would have complained but they were booked solid with some baseball thing in town I was there for a wedding and didn’t want to make waves At least I got to enjoy people playing baseball outside til 11 pm Food was great for the private event but the breakfast was not great at all This area is newly developed but it is pretty close to stereotypical east Moline Definitely hurting the Hyatt brand!

Kathy Bengtson

Beautiful new facility Very clean, quiet, comfortable bed, spacious room, pleasant staff, nice lounge on main floor with fireplace and lounge on top floor too, Starbucks inside, hot and cold breakfast items and fresh fruit Excellent conference facility in the Expo Building, with great staff and delicious food on sight

Highly recommend this hotel overlooking the Mississippi for a personal getaway or conference We had a great week here!

Jackie Elmaazawi

The good: The rooms are new Parking is easy The hotel has a couple different areas to socialize, with a nice patio area

All the staff were friendly As you can see the river views are beautiful It’s QUIET There’s a small convenience store for snacks, drinks and toiletriesThe bad: We booked a king room with a river view When we arrived they told us they were overbooked, and had to give us a double queen instead No offer of compensation or other accommodations were offered We didn’t think much of it at the time I wish this was the worst problem we had with our stay Unfortunately, the shower heads aren’t the greatest but it’ll get the job doneThe ugly: Someone left MILK in our single serve coffee maker At first I thought it was hard water stains because the shower head is a little clogged from that Nope Instantly, STEAMED HOT ROTTEN MILK filled our room We had to pack up and leave immediately at 7am Rough morning, to say the least The front desk lady didn’t seem to care? She did apologize We couldn’t even stay to enjoy the breakfast, because our stomachs were turning from the smell Let’s hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else!!! It was truly horrificPlease also note the reviews below which mention maggots in the coffee pots I believe the room rate was $150- For another $50 I’d gladly stay at a Marriott or Hilton where such issues are addressed by management promptly

We’ve stayed here three times so far Unfortunately this last stay was off-putting overall Positives: front desk staff all seem welcoming and professional

Breakfast is better than what you get at most extended stay places Rooms can be are very spacious Beds are very comfy Negatives: shower drain was slow and I had to pause showering multiple times to get me out standing in dirty water Housekeeping was poor, we had item from previous guest stay in our room (kids toy), streaks from dirty rag on all metal, glass, mirrors Blood stains on top blanket, underside Toilet seat not clean Sticky on under side of countertop edges Hand prints in elevator seen on Thursday, we’re still there on Sunday morning For a relatively fresh facility – it needs some love in the day-to-day care

Jeff Gibbon

Beware: if you want a good night’s sleep, rooms on the second floor are above a loud bar that has live music until after midnight! We were told that there were no other rooms that we could be moved toOther issues, there are strange white stains on the bedroom carpet, shower floor is filthy, and the pullout couch is broken Noise and vibrations from the hallway are also very audible

It’s too bad because we have stayed here in the past and had a decent experience I think the charm has worn for us off this timeAvoid the second floor

I stayed here for a night as I was attending a concert at TaxSlayer Center and this is a short walk across the streetEverything about this place was great, I have no complaints As others have mentioned, it is an old restored building and has loads of history

It has a rustic/industrial look to it and I thought it was pretty cool, considering most hotels have the same sterile look The bed was a slice of heaven, I really loved how cushy it was I had a King size studio, so it came fully equipped with a microwave, stovetop, full size refrigerator, “real” plates and glasses, kitchen utensils and forks/knives/spoons There was even a small eating area and made the kitchen and bed feel like separate spaces This unit only had a stand-up shower, but it was also fantastic The shower head is extra high and there was shampoo/conditioner and body wash in a dispenser I loved that there was a digital thermostat, as this place has standard “vents” rather than one of those huge noisy electric HVAC units Room temperature was comfortable when I walked in and never had to adjust it All of the little touches made this a genuinely great stay for meCheck-in was easy and the guy at the desk was super friendly, which was nice after a 3 hour drive down thereI was on the 6th floor and facing directly out to the train tracks, as mentioned in another review It was kinda loud, but not bad enough to “jar” me out of sleep I heard it and went back to sleep after mumbling obscenities at 4am It came by again around 8am and during the day as well, so definitely something to think about if the noise bothers you Outside of that, it was dead quiet in my room the rest of the time I only briefly heard the cleaning staff in the hallway when I arrivedParking was free and right across the street, so that was awesome as wellThis was my first time visiting Moline and between this hotel and the concert at TaxSlayer Center, it was a pretty epic experience I’ll definitely visit again in the future and when I do, I’ll stay at Element

Gorgeous and elegant hotel with excellent river view The room was very comfy as well We loved being able to lie in bed and see the city and river view

It was also so convenient since we were attending a show at The Adler next door We’ll definitely be back!(Our one “complaint” is that they charge $12 parking in addition to the room charge which is just not reasonable given what we paid and for downtown Davenport)

Jason Hacker

This hotel is divine! Everyone was very nice and the place was quiet and calm on a Saturday! The hotel is beautiful and our room was fantastic! We ate dinner at the restaurant off the lobby and it was not expensive and the food was good I think this may have been the best hotel that I have ever stayed in Our family enjoyed the amazing pool and pool room and we basically had it to ourselves

Michelle Fury

Hotel review: Like with everything else i am sure covid plays a huge role in this but, i wont be back Not worth the price Our room had torn bedding, the lights in the bathroom were not good very dim

They had a makeup mirror on the counter but the batteries were dead so no light there either Everything was dusty and just dark Customer service was good especially those that were there late at nightBrunch review: When we were local we used to go for Sunday brunch and it was great Now it was horrible The food was like hospital food The coffee tasted like it was 2 days old and was luke warm at best For an extra $250 a cup (In addition to brunch price, mimosas and bloody Mary’s included but not coffee) I would have at least liked a hot cup of coffee

Marriot properties are generally very clean and comfortable and this Fairfield was no exception We arrived later in the evening after a very long road trip Check in was quick and easy and the hotel manager was friendly and helpful

We found our room to be very clean The beds were comfortable which allowed us to get a great nights sleep Both the bedroom and the bathroom were very spacious The room included a mini fridge and a large, newer flat screen tv The complimentary breakfast in the morning was sufficient and included your standard hotel continental breakfast selections While we did not use it, the hotel also had a nice looking pool and fitness centerOverall, we enjoyed our stay and I would definitely stay here again

Joe Cates

I am Ambassador Elite with Marriott Bonvoy and average 250 nights per year in hotelsThis location has the most uncomfortable beds and the lowest water pressure of any location I have stayed I have stayed here three different weeks and have had three different rooms and they have all been the same

Unfortunately the competition around here is not any betterThe front desk staff are friendly and provide good service and the hotel is clean It’s a shame they don’t have better beds and there is such low water pressure

Literally one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at in my entire life! It’s beautiful, clean, modern, and has everything you need in it! We used the laundry room which was great! We got to swim in the pool which was clean and nice! Our double queen was clean and very comfortable I wish I could package this hotel up with me and take it along when I travel! I would definitely book here again when in town!

Rachel Martin

I was in town for work and this was where the staff were staying The location is great, close to restaurants and a strip mall for quick trips The front staff were so friendly, and the breakfast each morning was a great deal for the price with excellent service

The amenities are fantastic with a beautiful outdoor patio area, indoor pool and fitness center My room was impeccably spotless with TONS of windows for natural light, but also included blackout shades to block out the outside light I would stay here again without giving it a second thought

Tim Demming

Hands down, the best hotel room I’ve stayed in at this price Rooms are spacious and modern, shower is large, and the towels are huge (nice touch) The bed was comfortable and I enjoyed the huge picture window (but the view was lacking) Everything was clean

I had a club sandwich at the restaurant and it was one of the best I had I’m looking forward to staying here again

The stay here was not the best experience I’ve ever had, not the worst but there were several issues throughout our stay Immediately upon walking in our room to the right there is a punch hole in the wall When the wind would blow outside there would be a high pitch whistle, and our room was obviously right up against the stairs

The first night we didn’t notice it, but the second night it sounded like somebody was beating on our wall almost all night We then realized the next morning that it was just people walking up and down the stairs, but it kept us up regardless The walls seem to be pretty thin because it wasn’t too hard to hear everything going on in the room on the other side of us The breakfast selection was okay if you got out early enough, but the orange juice was VERY watered down Again, not the worst place you could stay, but those were just the problems we had

My partner and I got a room with a king bed We had a service animal (guide dog) that was accommodated well Hotel breakfasts always butter my buns and this was no different

We also utilized the workout room and stepped inside the pool area Overall, a good experience Some odd smells here and there and awkward interactions at times with staff but I chalk both of those up to my nose being weird and my inadequate social skills 5 stars from me!

2nd shift front desk personal was horrible Rolling his eyes, telling guest things are to bad its not his problem, and just walking away or ignoring you First shift front desk is wonderful though

Food was good and there was a good variety Pool area was very clean Water was a little cold but the kids didn’t mind that Lighting on first floor is very dim though and makes it hard to see

We used automatic check-in and selected our room When we got into our room we noticed that the floor was a little wet around the toilet I dried it however it was wet again later

I got out my flashlight and saw wet and a mushroom growing from the wall I went to the front desk to change rooms The young man apologized and gave us a no cost upgrade The only thing wrong with that room was the pile of trash behind the bedside table We got used to the knocking in the wall and we liked breakfast and the location of the ice machine

I have been staying at this hotel for over a month and have yet to be able to get anyone to clean my room I requested a cleaning 5 times with 3 different people for 3 weeks straight and no one ever came to clean I talked to the front desk manager Krissy, and she was very apologetic and said she’d get someone up there, but no one would ever show up

After another week, Krissy told me she’d just come and clean my room herself on Saturdays, well that was two more weeks of broken promises All the long term guests here are having the same problem, not just me When you talk to the cleaning ladies about it, they blame Krissy, when you talk to Krissy about it, tmshe points her fingers at the cleaning crew, but under no circumstances will either of them actually show up to clean a room After nearly 6 weeks of dealing with this, I finally gave up and bought my own cleaning supplies and notified Krissy that I would just clean my room myself and not to worry about it anymore because they are clearly incapable So just a heads up, if you’re staying here longer than a week, you WILL NOT have your room cleaned, so just stop off at wal-mart and buy your own cleaning supplies on your way here They’ll make excuses, but never make a bed

My family and I and our neighbor came here for an extended stay after having our ceilings cave in The staff is awesome and very polite and professional We utilized the grill they have and enjoyed meeting and socializing with other guests

Loved the fact they had a kitchen with a full refrigerator and stovetop Room was great size and cleaning staff was excellent The operations manager and general manager was great to us and to all guests They were there for us when things were not going right Loved that this place offered cookie day and grill day and even pizza night I definitely will return with my family again for a getaway Number one in service, operations, customer care and service

Terrible place to stay!!!! On initial arrival, given several rooms that were already occupied After a few days, asked for room service for towels, sheets & garbage

nothing Next day, asked again Andrea, different desk person, handed us some towels right then and then she went up herself and dealt with the sheets & garbage as housekeeping was off (Thank you!!) After a large snow, they buried my car in the handicapped spot when they cleaned the sidewalk I was finally able to get out and asked the desk to clear the piled up snow as now ALL the handicapped spots are buried with snow drifts or from cleared snow Snotty answer basically telling me tough No way to have it taken care of Weak water pressure in shower Will never return!

While the experience at this Hilton Garden in certainly qualified as acceptable for the price, it couldn’t go much further My partner and I booked a King suite specifically because it stated there were bathtubs in all the rooms Upon checking in, we were surprised to find out that isn’t the case, and that the staff didn’t even know which King suites still had bathtubs, as most have been switched to shower only

Overall, a very average experience and one I couldn’t recommend over another average hotel experience Props to the staff for assisting us with our request, however

Rooms we had were very comfortable, loved the indoor pool and hot tub was a great place to chill in the afternoonStaff super helpfulMy only gripe was the lack of black out curtains – the heater/A-C unit is under the window with only a thin curtain over it

Ok if you like waking with the morning light

Made a mistake with my reservation Called right away to change it Had signed up for AAA rate

Apparently, it was non-refundable They refused to work with me to change it The deck clerk was sarcastic and patronizing, telling me I should have called for my reservation, and it would have been more understandable! Poor service Charged my card today for my room that I cannot even use!

First off, we came into the room late and there were stink bugs in the room Dealt with them and told the front desk in the morning It was downplayed and they have an exterminator called

The desk clerk was very kind and respectful It was early, and he made coffee for me around 5:30 Excellent service The next morning (today) it’s 6:30, and no coffee hasbeen made and the lights are off in the dining / commons area I asked if they could make coffee, and the guy (different from yesterday) said there is no coffee until breakfast 30 minutes prior? I never stayed anywhere that they didn’t have coffee by this time Will not stay at this hotel again Besides the A/C never worked properly and the place needs to be updated They’ve neglected to keep it up

Casus Weim

There are several problems at this hotel I have stayed at Marriott over 1000 nights and have never been so disappointed in the quality of a Marriott property as this one Staff do not wear name tags, dress in tee shirts and jeans, are not knowledgeable about room preference availability, pet policies

That is just the beginning Room had 1 towel, no washcloths, no extra toilet paper, no remote controls for TV, furniture was dirty, carpet stained, no hairdryer in one room, closet door was off track and could not be opened or closed, no luggage racks- (was told to just put luggage on floor or bed) When I asked for towels and washcloths, I had to go downstairs to get them because there was no one in housekeeping on duty (one young girl was left alone at a supposedly sold out hotel) to manage the entire placeOther reviews mention that the place needs an update- and it very much so does It is an embarrassment et to the Marriott chain of quality Hotel properties
