Went there for first time and it was an amazing experience Staff was wonderful They exceeded all expectations and were so pleasant they made you feel like family

Food was delicious and the pool was a lot of fun My son loved the water slide along with the Reese’s pathway to go through I highly recommend coming here to anyone Very pleasant stay Will stay here again next time I come to Hershey

The overall experience was great The check in with the Hershey bars for everyone and the children check in with characters showing up for pictures was a great touch! The lodge was warm and inviting from the fireplace and the multiple restaurants on site made it nice we didn’t have to leave for breakfast lunch or dinner The room we stayed in was a standard two queen room it had plenty of space for an air mattress and they provided a pack and play for my infant as requested

We had an exterior room which I was apprehensive about however it turned out to be nice we could pull right up to room and unload and there was an entrance to the hotel within feet of our room you just used key to access The rooms had Hershey loss wall paper and bed likened which the kids thought was pretty neat The water works and arcade was awesome only complaint was that the arcade had some games that were not working and took the points and after reporting no one put signs up or anything so kids kept losing points which was disappointing The water works had plenty for the kids to do I think 12 and under is a good age for this facility with the water slides the kids splash area with excellent for my 2 year old as well We were here for a cheer competition so the complimentary Hershey garden tickets and Hershey museum tickets unfortunately didn’t get to be used they are only good for the days you stay and we couldn’t make it I wish there was more time given to redeem but overall this is a family friendly warm inviting very accommodating place to stay! And we stayed in the winter when not everything the had to offer was available!

5 stars but I have to deduct 1 star simply because of the number of people and children that stay here It can get chaotic, but it’s handled as well as it can be On site restaurants fill up fast

Hallways can be crammed Elevators are slow Now for the positive: staff are terrific and will go out of their way to assist you Shuttle service to Hershey Park is excellent and efficient Way better than waiting to park on your own Rooms are clean and standard sized Lots of things to do to have a relaxing day with family away from Hershey Park or wind down after the park Great experience all around

Fantastic new property located at MDT but miraculously immune from aircraft noise Well-appointed rooms and smartly-designed lobby areas provide a business traveller’s mecca Lobby bar with small bites (for fee) is open from 5-9PM and a 24/7 ‘market’ offers snacks, sodas, beer and wine for late-night arrivals

PROS: Very clean, great service, great amenitiesCONS: No pack & plays, small coffee cupsThis is a very nice budget hotel Very family friendly, very clean, freshly painted Staff is extremely helpful and friendly

They don’t have pack & plays, so be sure to bring your own The continental breakfast even had a limited selection of O-U kosher items, like oatmeal 24 hour complimentary coffee bar

This is a great place to stay The location is great It’s just close to the highway

This was my experience staying at this hotelHotel is 30mins away from Hershey park It was all worth the distance

SureStay is a pet friendly hotel but the hotel is kept so clean and stopless that you would not even know pets were around until you actually see them around the lobby The Staff – Starting with the Receptionist to the cleaning staff, I stayed 2 nights, there were 3 ladies in total from the first to the last they were all very welcoming and very knowledgable of the area which help us so much I have to share, friends and I were at the lobby sitting area and the receptionist came over to us with “FRESHLY BAKED CHOCOLATE COOKIES!!!” who does’t that ?? Breakfast – what a great layout, from pancakes (make your own) to delicious ham & eggs, country syle gravy – and much, much, more, amazing – great chef in the back – It was such a great assortment of delicious food to please everyones tastes buds Food is kept protected and the area is kept so clean Young man comes out every (which seems like every 2mins) to check from what’s needed to keeping the area cleaning, while saying Good morning to everyone That was so nice to see Cleaning staff — from cleaing rooms to making sure the hotel is spotless was great Some vistiors would sit in the sitting area and once they would get up it like a bell goes off silently and someone comes out to clean the sitting areaIf anyone is needing a pet friendly hotel, visting Hershey Park this is the place to stay If you don’t mine the 30min drive Great , amazing staff , amazing stay!!! This hotel has the best hospitality!! Again, this was my experience and I wanted to share

We had a great stay at this hotel Staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy We booked this hotel because it was more affordable for the kids

(We decided they were going to kick in some money for our weekend getaway) I generally try to book newer hotels but with this being an older hotel it is well maintained Rooms were spacious and clean Lots to do for the kids including 2 pools, game room, ping pong and a pool table Great location also Will definitely be back!Noelle W

I booked this hotel as a stop over for our band returning to Minnesota after a tour in Boston Jane from the sales team was amazing getting everything set up Communication from initial call to arrival was awesome

When we arrived they had everything ready for a quick check in Because we arrived later than planned they adjusted the pool hours so the kids had time to swim Due to mechanical issues with our bus we needed to stay later than our scheduled check out They gave us a room to store luggage, showed us the locker rooms so the kids could enjoy the outdoor pool The manager Randy was very accommodating He helped us order pizza since we were scheduled to eat on the road He had space for us to eat Highly recommend this hotel for a group!!!

Evelyn Carbajales

We had a great stay! We stayed in the family suite and our room was nice and comfortable, the beds are spacious and also comfortable The hotel felt very welcoming the moment I walked in to check-in! I got to meet the owner Randy and he was super nice and generous! I definitely recommend coming to this hotel if you’re going to Hershey park or just coming around the area for fun!

We had the most amazing time staying at Hersheypark Camping Resort We stayed from Sunday to Friday and visited Hersheypark 2 of those days We stayed in the basic log cabin and it was perfect! It had a full size bed for my husband and I and two single beds for my daughter and my nephew with a dresser separating the two

It was just what we needed to unplug and relax The staff were friendly and very helpful The shuttle was a nice extra that saved us quite a bit in parking fees The one thing that stood out to us was how clean the bathroom/ shower houses were The cleaning staff were on it We saw them no less than every two hours stopping in to clean and check the restrooms The water pressure and hot water was to die for and felt amazing after a long day The kids loved the pool and the volleyball court I absolutely loved the creeks especially going down to where the two creeks met It was so peaceful and was a great place to relax and be one with nature for a bit The camp store had good coffee and just about anything you needed We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back and try the deluxe cabin or maybe even to use our tent

Cynthia Trowbridge

It was a great cabin It was clean and roomy There were four of us and we could easily have added two more comfortably

The bath houses were clean and well stocked Even the showers had good water pressure The pool was a comfortable temperature There were lots of activities for children If I had one suggestion it would be coffeemakers in the cabin That’s the only hotel like amenity I would have appreciated

Marie Q

I’ve stayed here twice so far, both times it was not busy, and both times in Carousel Circle area This is a pretty large campground with all different types of sites and different sized cabins There are a couple of playgrounds, the pools, basketball, sand volleyball, horseshoes, and of course the shuttle to Hersheypark

The staff is very friendly (I was walking around yesterday getting exercise and checking out the Pioneer Heights area which I hadn’t seen before, and an employee was cleaning the laundry up there and made a point to greet me and ask me how my stay was Like, no big deal or anything, but she could have just ignored me, I wouldn’t have thought she was rude or anything, she was working) There is a busy railroad track right next to the campground, which could be really cool if someone in your family is into trains It could be less cool if you weren’t aware and booked a site next to it and found the noise disturbing The trains don’t honk super close to the campground (you do hear honking though, there must be a crossing somewhere nearish) and I live near a train track so the noise doesn’t bother meThe only complaint I have is that at least some of the staff do not understand about driving RVs This is definitely not a problem unique to this campground, but both times they gave us the wrong directions to our site Both times we were in the block between Rd C and Rd D, and they told us to drive down C If you do that there are 2 problems 1, the site numbers are visible from Rd D, and 2, you have to back in, which isn’t really a problem, except it defeats the purpose of a pull-through I suggest you just look at the map, the sites are all angled, so you can tell which road you should go down But in case the campground reads this, I really suggest you get someone who actually drives a big rig to give the employees a little training, because it could cause accidents, especially with newer campers who don’t know better

First night checking in the door to my room was swollen and I had to force it open and force it closed, once inside the room I discovered water on the bathroom floor coming from the toilet No problem getting right into another room, at which time I was advised that when it rains the roof leaks, water leaks down from the roof and out the light fixtures into the bathroom and onto the bathroom floor2nd room same swollen door situation had to force it open and same to close it

same for the bathroom door After sleeping there for 2 nights I developed a horrible sinus infection nose and throat so clearly the place has a roof that leaks, therefore there’s a moisture problem which would explain why the doors were so swollen, which then leads me to believe that there is a mold problem within the building which would explain my symptoms3rd and last night no problem switching rooms which appeared to be better than the other roomsThe staff there was great, Emma at the front desk was fantistic as well as housekeeping and those that kept breakfast at a steady paceFor the owner/corporation you should be ashamed about this locationCome down and visit this location look at how dirty the carpet in the hallway of the 3rd floor is as well as the carpet in the rooms, smell the mold, feel the pressure needed to open and close the doors, take a look at the A/C unit in the room and see how dirty they are, consider cleaning and changing the filter from time to timeFix the roof, clean, and touch the place up and maybe the place will smell and look clean and it won’t be a health and safety issue for your guestsI stayed at the HIE in Bay Shore on 2 different occasions and 1 time here, I’m glad to say that I will never spend any time or money at any of the locations in the future

Amy V

The front desk agent emma and ray (I think) we’re absolutely amazing They went above and beyond and ensured my package didn’t melt for when I arrived and the room itself the sheets were dirty but they were able to fix it right away Recommended an amazing Italian restaurant to us our first night and really helped get our vacation started off right

However, the room itself really needs to be updated Everything was functional and okay but the beds were hard spring mattresses, the bathroom door was very loud and beat up, the hotel room door barely opened and was hard to open and close it And the a/c unit on the wall didn’t work (but the unit itself works)Honestly, we looked past all of the room issues because of the rockstar employees this location has at the front desk

We spend a lot of time at Blue green reports so it is easy for us to compare experiences The location of this hotel is prime for visiting Hershey Park and surrounding areas The two bedroom suite we had was obviously updated and looked nice

However, the main toilet seat was cracked upon arrival and the next morning we found out the coffee pot was also cracked so we couldn’t make coffee However, one call to guest services and both issues were corrected The other downside to the rooms are there are no balconies at this resort which we normally enjoy relaxing on The pools are on the smaller side for a Blue green but overall it is a nice resort

Linda Waldron-Inman

We were booked in a 2 bedroom suite There was a fully equipped kitchen A tv in each room

Laundry equipment in the suite Beach towels were provided for the pool The room was very clean It’s not like a hotel It’s a timeshare You are expected to leave dishes in the dishwasher and not dirtyThey have all sorts of things to do basketball court Pingpong table Outdoor grill We had a great time

a charter

The front desk agent was fabulous I checked in on 4/15 at around 3:15 PM He even held the room across from mine for my family that would check in later

The underground parking was free and convenient The room was everything I could hope for Great amenities in the kitchen and laundry room in our room Spectacular fireplace Ample space for a family of 5 Two bathrooms Clean I really loved the two bedroom suiteThe one thing that I thought was odd, was having to throw out your garbage at the end of your stayThe only thing that was extremely upsetting was a staff member walking into my room without knocking I was so startled She said she thought we checked out I said I am right in the middle as you can see getting our belongings together Then she said check out is at 10AM It was 10:30 at the time It doesn’t matter what time is check out or if you “think ” we have left you must knock on the door I will always put my safety latch on from now on The location of the hotel is exceptional

We just got back from a 4-night stay at Hershey Road and we had the greatest time This campground is on the smaller side so not too crazy, but more calm and relaxed which was so nice This is campground is the cleanest I have ever seen

It is SO well maintained and the facilities are beautiful They have a brand new heated pool with a splash pad for kids Also many kids activities They have all different local food trucks come over the weekend which were fantastic They had a DJ at the pool over the weekend also A beautiful mini golf course, lake for fishing, playground It was such a blast and super affordable All the staff is so nice and helpful Very conveniently located between Hershey and Lancaster We found our new favorite destination!!!

Chris Carrillo

I stayed here for a week with my family in mid-July and we absolutely loved it It is not a huge campground so there aren’t too many people The shower stations are clean and very nice

There is mini golf for the kids and the pool is outstanding As a bonus, it’s a pretty flat campground so our kids loved riding their bikes and were never too far from our camper If you’re going to Hershey Park or just doing some family camping, this is THE place to stay

Val Comments

This is a beautiful campground The cabins were absolutely gorgeous There is a small bathroom in the cabin but the bath house is very close to the cabins and is so clean and nice that we ended up using that most of the time

The pool is nice and the spray park is awesome There is free mini golf and a pond with no fishing license required There is a nice playground within view of the cabins and a beautiful covered picnic area we used when it rained one of the mornings we were there The only complaint I would have it the cabins are extremely pricey and they have a hotel style lock and key so you have to be very careful not to close the door if you don’t have your key card because it will automatically lock Other then that I highly recommend this beautiful campground

Beautiful hotel, beautiful views, great food options inside and around Minutes away from Hershey park, and near everything else important! Great pools and spa, friendly staff and beautiful seating areas both inside and outside Stayed in a suite and was thoroughly impressed

large rooms and clean bathroom! Ice machine was a little far, but nothing crazy Highly recommend staying here if you can!

I stayed at the Hotel Hershey for a week and had an outstanding time The pool was fun, not too cold and had 2 water slides The pool wasn’t to deep, so it‘s more safe for little kids

But evening it was deep there are a lot of life guards around the pool The Iberian Lounge had a good selection of drinks and the hotel had many places to get snacks and eat The hotel is very close to Hershey Park so you can take a short bus trip there Overall the hotel was a very good experience with good food and lots of fun

Kristen Stirtz

It’s like walking back into time – more appealing to adults then children This was our first visit so I wasn’t sure if this or the lodge would be a better choice for us There was quite a bit to do with my son

He loved the pool with the water slides, the pool tables and shuffleboard, the ping pong tables and corn hole boards that were set up in the courtyard You will need reservations for the restaurants and they have dress codes, which I should have researched a bit more in advance, so we stuck to the room service option, which was very delicious

Even though the rooms in this hotel are a little dated, they were clean and comfortable We rented the family suite; the layout was spacious and reminiscent of a condo The pool is indoor, which is a plus

There is a restaurant on site Laundry facilities are available, but on our visit, only one machine was working There are lots of conference rooms, so this place would be handy if having a reunion, party or reception Located next to the front desk, is a market store with various sundries and snacks The location ( about 20 minutes) is handy for Heshey Park goers One important note, is the rooms are set to undergo renovations in late 2022

Hotel was very nice and inviting from when you stepped in the door, it was also very clean staff was very friendly Pool was great for the kids and was heated Rooms were nice and clean we had a suite so it was bigger for our family vacation

Close to restaurants and Hershey park and shopping centers Overall a great stay and will book again next time we plan a vacation to Hershey!!

Go visit this hotel and consider their reasonable options Wedding planning has exploded into a ginormous industry that can feel confusing and ridiculous Jessica is the event planner at this location and she was so helpful! We ended up booking elsewhere to keep the location closer to my future in-law’s town, but if you are looking for a ballroom in the Harrisburg area, I’d strongly encourage you to check this place out! Their pricing is also the most reasonable, out of the other hotels in the area

We stayed here because it allowed pets; I’m not so sure those pictures are real; they make it look like it’s a nice, new, clean hotel Think again When we checked in they said the room we were staying in was pet-free

They moved us into a nicer room The layout of the room was great; we had a living room, kitchen, and 2 bedrooms, but the actual hotel itself was old, decorated in a way that may or may not have been in style 30 years ago, and was somewhat dirty and dusty

Brandon Newkirk

One of the BEST Marriott experiences I have ever had!! The most charming staff!! Especially Kenny up front!!! The room was huge, there was an indoor and outdoor, mini basketball court and gym!! Tons of local food less than ten minutes away Constant staff and workers I usual don’t like residence inns but this was a top stop regardless of the name!!!

20redfrogs

Super friendly staff! My room was missing several items like silverware drinking glasses and the like, and the front desk team made sure that I had replacements before the end of the day Front desk employee Kenneth was especially friendly and always more than willing to help! I stayed here three weeks for work, but my family flew in to join me for about 10 of those days He really helped to make our stay more enjoyable

It was so nice of a stay that our daughter didn’t want to leave!
