This place has amazing food! We have had breakfast here several times in the spacious dining room as well as the spacious bar/restaurant They have the best homemade sausage gravy around, huge chunks of savory sausage, very generous! They have a great menu, nice portions, and very reasonable prices! We also are absolutely crazy about their Salmon Salad, it’s the best salmon salad around, (we eat them from all over BC) The service is awesome too, everyone is so nice here

I highly recommend Rochester Hotel Dining!

It’s a smaller Hotel Love Mom and Pop shops That being said you’ll be bringing your own things up to the room

The rooms are absolutely beautiful! Especially if you’re facing the riverThe breakfast menu downstairs is delicious with a great venue for bigger parties Just asking though he happy to see if they can help you I know I’ve been joyed my stay hereThe last thing to know it would be as with the bus station is right next door So if you’re planning on traveling on a budget and visiting Pittsburgh this is a great location

Utterly delicious breakfast! Located in a nondescript building in Rochester, you will find no sign visible from the street indicating that you are at the right location other than beer lights in the window of the Diamond Lounge This said, you will be rewarded with a delicious breakfast for your perseverance My better half and I both ordered “The 3 Stooges” which is 2 eggs, potato pancakes, choice of toast, and bacon or sausage

The food was delicious and generous in portion size The small things made the difference here – the rye toast was thick sliced, when I selected sausage I was offered patties or links, and they brought plenty of cream for the coffee

After driving 15 hours decided to call it a day and book a hotel online that was pet friendlyDecided on this this hotel 1 bedroom $149 with $50 non refundable pet fee plus taxesA guy working the front desk named Tim look incredibly annoyed with me checking in and especially that I had a pet

10lb dogHe felt the need to argue the pet fee with me saying it’s $75 and I had to tell him it was not that on the website it says $50Go to the room 128 he calls and goes I looked it up it is 75$ non refundable, at this point I look it up again thinking maybe I made a mistakeThis is what it says on their website “traveling with pets allows $50 non refundable 1-4 nights , $75 for 5 plus nightsI honestly did not feel comfortable staying at this hotel or welcomedThe beds are uncomfortableThe pillows are oldAround 5:30am you can hear this crashing sound whenever someone uses the watersYou can hear the person in the room next door full conversation talking, this is not a room with adjoining doors so the walls are thinI would not recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a peaceful check in and easy sleep before travelingIt lacks customer services, basic amenities “bar soap”, and the beds are extremely uncomfortableTheir gym looks nice, pool and front lobby, but I didn’t book a hotel to use any of these things

This hotel was great! My daughter’s wedding was at Eden Hall and we are from Cincinnati, so Stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Cranberry for 4 days My son-n-law reserved a block of rooms for the wedding party and the staff were great to all of us This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in

The staff was great! The waitress at breakfast was very friendly and attentive to our needs Tim the assistant manager was awesome!! He took care of us and we were a busy group I cannot say enough about how great this hotel We will definitely stay again and recommend this hotel to others

Tony Sabo

Excellent stay at this hotel As a diamond member, I felt appreciated right away At the front was JuJu who checked me in flawlessly and quickly while also recommending not only several high end restaurants in the area, which I needed for clients, but a few dive bars which I needed for myself and a few friends later on in the evening

The hotel itself was spotless as well as my room I can’t say enough about the people running the front desk and the bar There are a lot of choices in the area, but with these kind of people running the show, I’ll be back!

What a great find! Pat, Tom, and Mom created a welcoming and comfortable experience Our room “The Cottage Loft” was neat, clean, cozy, comfortable, and tastefully decorated The main house and grounds were beautiful, clean, and well maintained

The breakfasts were amazing! Regarding breakfast, I’d like to say more but let’s let that be your extremely pleasant surprise We enjoyed every moment of our two day stay

Katelyn Scherer

Elizabeth and Pats Mom were so welcoming!!!! It was both my husbands and my first time at a B&B and definitely wont be our last! Breakfast was absolutely delicious!! The jacuzzi was incredible!!! Our only regret is not being able to meet the amazing Pat and her husband Tom, but maybe next time! (: Thank you so much for making our wedding even more special!!!! The Carriage Loft was the perfect getaway!!!! Thank you so much!!!!!

Helen Ferringer

Our daughter and her husband were married at Chapel Valley in June We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect outdoor wedding venue and wonderful place to spend this special time with our family and friends! Tom and Pat showed us such kindness and hospitality They attended to every detail to make us all feel at home

Their experience, patience and guidance helped make it a magical event we will always remember From the rehearsal dinner in the event room, to the fun night in the Carriage House Suite for our daughter and her bridesmaids, to the delicious gourmet breakfast, to the wedding day and family photos on the gorgeous grounds, and then the convenience of the Cottage Loft for the newlyweds to spend a romantic night together after the long day it was definitely like something out of a fairytale (I gotta give a shout out to Michelle too! She was a lifesaver “behind-the-scenes” making sure things ran smoothly and looked great Thanks, Michelle!)I asked my daughter what she thought of her experience at Chapel Valley, and she told me that it was so perfect from beginning to end, she’d do it again!Thank you, Tom and Pat for such a wonderful beginning to our daughter’s happily ever afterWe high recommend you and your beautiful bed and breakfast to everyone who asks!

I’ve stayed many times at this location throughout the years while travelling through the US and it’s quality is consistent The rooms are clean, the hotel staff are polite, and the breakfast is solid The bathroom was left mostly clean although the staff missed some details

The shower has adequate pressure and lots of hot water but it did squeak when it was being used Overall a great stay and I look forward to coming back again

Cathie Caliguiri

I spent one night last Wednesday at this Hyatt Parking was so convenient I was pleasantly greeted upon entering by Austin who was so friendly and professional

Check in was a breeze- literally less than 5 minutes Austin directed me to the bar area and market My room was on the 4th floor It was beautiful and clean I have to say that I slept the best I have in months It was extremely quiet Everything I needed was in the room and enjoyed not having to leave the room for a cup of coffee in the morning I would highly recommend this hotel Also, you are very fortunate to have such an incredible employee as Austin on your team Thanks so much for making my stay so safe and comfortable

Dave Osthoff

I will start by saying our room was perfect, as was the sausage eggs and biscuits/gravy the next morning! Other comments about the hallways are accurate The hallways reeked of pot, which really comes of no surprise and seems to be the norm anymoreI booked the room by calling this hotel directly the day before our stay

The person at the front desk that took my call did not know how to spell when repeating information back to me I don’t think Hyatt has many qualifications required for that positionUpon our check-out, I decided to switch payment methods The employee at the front desk (different person this time) charged me 3 additional times on my old payment method, deposit the same amount as a refund into my new payment method, and refunded only one of the charges to my old payment method It took one operator plus that person’s manager on the phone to clear things upWe don’t stay at hotels often, so, of course we would stay again because the room was nice as was our sleep Very comfortable bedding, I should mention

No signs indicating the turn in for the hotel At night you can’t see the drive I passed it, made a u turn and when I came back found that you can’t make a left hand turn into the property from the other direction

so had to go down and make a u turn again Also, the staff just goes down the hall starting at 9:30 just knocking in doors and walking away to see who has checked out or not in passed experience if you don’t get up and the door in twenty seconds or so they try to come on in, so I got up and said through the door we are still here and would be checking out around eleven but there was no one there So I open the door and the cleaner was already a couple doors down talking to another room he had knocked on I asked what he wanted standing in the hall in my underwear Told him he was being rude for knocking and then walking away at checking out asked what the standard practice was for room cleaning and the clerk said they don’t know who’s checked out because people just leave They come in at 9am and start cleaning I said I understand people just walk out but they have already cleaned all the rooms of people who have? and people put their room cards the little clear box at the front desk before they leave too so you’ve cleaned all those rooms too before you go knocking on doors and walking off? So all this turns out to be my fault, according the the desk clerk, because I didn’t put out a do not disturb sign out that I didn’t have my bad

Amelia the front desk is excellent, friendly and helpful However sofa bed and sofa in the room are not cleanWe checked in very late around 8 pm

She directed us where to get good with a list of restaurant in town After dinner , we came back to hotel room around 10 pm, and my son was very disappointed to find out the sofa bed mattress had a big dirty stainAmelia is very nice to change us to a different room with 2 queen beds immediately So my son does not need to stay on a sofa bed However we are disappointed again to find the sofa chair with 2 area of stain of urine I showed Amelia 2 pictures of urine stain At this time it’s 11 pm, we are too tired ! So I just asked Amelia to put on a note in my room so they won’t accuse my dog caused the stain and charged me extra After all, we have paid $75 for dog to stay and we bring in our own dog cage to keep the dog inAmelia just told me she did put my note in Hopefully this will bring the attention to the Marriott management team to do better cleaning Especially Amelia told me that there is inspector to inspect the sofa mattress before it’s folded inI told Amelia that I am Marriott Envoy member and stayed in many Marriott hotels when travel for last 3 years, This is the first Marriott hotel room with dirty sofa bed mattress and dirty sofa chair

Beautiful hotel and very clean, gorgeous pool 3ft to 5ft, hot tub and sauna Basketball court outside the pool room Exercise room and a fire pit with comfortable seating around

They even offer a free complimentary smore kit! Breakfast was hot and delicious with many choices for everyone, I think they had over 10 different toppings to choose from to add to your waffles or yogurt ect Pet friendly Location was amazing everything you can imagine within 10 miles or less!

I recently stayed at this hotelI have stayed at many Residence Inns around the United States This was one of the worst Residence Inns I have stayed in

Not because of noise, but the condition of the hotel is quite frankly in very poor shapeIn our bed/bathroom, there were several areas where the carpet was damaged, the walls were damaged and stained The door needed to be repainted, the toilet ran, stains were abundant all over the roomIn the living room, the furniture was stained and rippedThe breakfast was also NOT up to Residence Inn standards Using prepacked items left in their paper/plastic wrapping, in the warming stationsI will not stay at this Residence Inn again

We could not have asked for a better hotel for our wedding guests The meeting room had great lighting, and the staff provided great coffee for the bridal party to get ready – just bring mirrors They allowed us to have a nice time with all of our friends and family in the meeting room

Rooms were clean and as expected I think it was Colleen at the front desk who was particularly amazing! Thank you!

Victoria and Kenneth Kelley

Stopped here for the night with all 5 of our kids The rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable and the staff was top notch! Plenty of space to park a semi as well We ended up having a few conversations with the older lady at the front desk (I can’t remember her name, but she was retired and only worked there to have something to do)

I’m telling you, it makes a world of difference when you speak with someone who works because they WANT TO not because they have to She was SUPERB! As truck drivers, we stay all over the US but try to avoid the east as much as possible If we ever come back through here, we will definitely stay here again

Found a bedbug in my room immediately upon checking in Thankfully the front desk employee was extremely apologetic and switched me to another room immediately, but I was skeeved out for the rest of my stay In the second room, the deadbolt did not work and the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor due to poor curtain design

I expect better for a Courtyard Friendly & accommodating staff is what saved this from being a one star review

Janina B.

As expected the room was clean The king size bed was comfortable I checked in really late, close to 4 am and check in was a breeze

They have full sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash which I think is a plus! The towels were clean but could maybe use a little more fabric softener but it was okay It served its purpose The room didn’t have a microwave and that is why I rated the room wirh 4 stars but that was my fault because I assumed that the room had its own microwave oven So I had to eat my packed meal cold which was okay I am pretty sure they have something downstairs to warm up meals because their marketplace/store offered frozen tv dinnners and cup of soups that would require a micorwave oven so I think that they probably have something to warm up meals with but I didn’t bother asking the front desk since it was so late at night and didn’t want to bother the staff Overall, my stay was close to perfect

Joyfully His

One of our better experiences at a Marriott They had a great variety of hot foods for breakfast Not too many places offer this anymore, so it was a pleasant surprise

The rooms were spacious and clean We didn’t, however, have shampoo, but luckily we had our own We were very pleased with our experience here and will definitely stay at this location over the Marriott North (quality and cleanliness has really gone downhill!) and Courtyard which is right across the road I think those are used more and perhaps contributing to the steady decline This one is defiantly well taken care of We will return!

Jamie Simmons

Very tight quarters in the breakfast area I didn’t care for the food We had a king suite which would have been great for 2 people but we had 3

When the sofa bed was open, it was butted right up to the bed The person nearest the window wall could only get out of bed by crawling to the other side of the bed and over the person there OR by stepping onto the sofa bed where a person was also sleeping There was no luggage rack and no good place to put a suitcase The freezer in the room does not make ice and there was no ice bucket in the room This room is too small for 3 people It was very tight quarters The room was quiet and clean

I am posting this review about Heather, the general manager I had some difficulty with my reservation It’s a very long story, which she listened to a couple of times

She helped me with the 3rd party online booking agent and helped me settle the issue with patience! I would recommend this Holiday Inn simply because of her customer service alone! It’s nice to know that when tricky situations come up, the person in charge (Heather) will keep their cool and help you work through the issue Thank you Heather!

This is a nice hotel in a nice setting, for a reasonable price A hot breakfast is provided at no additional charge I’ve run into a few hotels lately that ADVERTISE a hot breakfast, which is a requirement for me, but don’t provide it free and don’t say so, thus ensuring I’ll never be back

Beds could use some work, I don’t think I’ve ever slept on a worse one, but the room itself was nice, with a small sofa and desk Very kind and pleasant staff Reasonable convenient to commute to Pittsburgh

Amyjo White-Detwiler

We were impressed with the cleanliness of the lobby and the warm greeting However when we got to our room it was less than desirable It was so small we could barely move around in it

No real hooks to hang things The beds were the smallest full size bed Incredibly uncomfortable (but hey if you’re a hard bed kind of guy/gal this is your thing) The pool area was not cleaned daily as we saw a massive hair ball near the chairs two days in a row No towels available at the pool We were disappointed in the size of the room and how uncomfortable the space was I couldn’t help staring at the splotchy paint on the walls when the sun came in the window I would have maybe paid $99 for this room, not $199

Princess Agatha

An older hotel Fine, not great Breakfast area was good

Hotel rooms generally ok and beds seemed clean Bottom of the bathroom garbage was dirty and full of pubic hair when I pulled out the bag to use for cleaning our dinner garbage Back of the bathroom door was punched in, which according to reception isn’t a surprise and a problem in multiple rooms Just looks like it needs maintenance Broad strokes were fine, details left something to be desired
