Have stayed here twice for soccer tournament in the area Not particularly close to fields, but im picky about hotels rooms and safety precautions Clean rooms and comfortable beds

Did find wrappers and items left by previous guests which made me wonder about how well cleaned my room was before this stay Small indoor/outdoor pool was perfect for the boys between matches Complementary breakfast is okay The boys enjoyed the waffles, and the coffee was good One of the employees at the front desk (manager?) was not overly friendly, but we enjoyed our stay

T CErick

Our stay was good here! The room was spacious and it was nice it had a bigger fridge with an actual freezer The room was clean and the breakfast was good I felt judged when asking for more toilet paper and towels, but when you stay there multiple nights you need that stuff

We were disappointed at the reduced hours for the pool We picked this hotel because of the pool The one time we got to use it we used the outdoor part and it looked very run down We didn’t check out the indoor part, again because of limited hours The staffing checking us in and checking us out were not very friendly or welcoming Overall the location was good for what we were doing, the hotel is solid and we couldn’t hear anything outside of our room, the room was good, and the breakfast was nice

Big Kuntry

This is my 3rd time staying at this location I haven’t had any issues except the digital key didn’t work on the main door but other than that everything was great Clean room, safe parking, quiet location

All of the staff was friendly especially Mrs Marie, a real sweetheart and very professional I’ll definitely book here again in the future

Me and my kids just left here after a 4 day stay!! #1 this hotel is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in the room was clean to perfection, not only that the room and hallways smelled so good! #2 breakfast staff and breakfast it self was amazing!! Everything is self serve but it was amazing! If you have left something or even need a drink or something to snack on the little store has everything and when I mean everything I mean it Hotel staff was amazing we visited here spring break and weather was all over the place so pool was closed also you about 20 min from downtown Atlanta where all the tractions and Georgia aquarium is, but for the most part I will come back to this very hotel it’s worth every penny!

Bruce Blackmon

Nice looking place but service is lacking, we stayed 4 nights and our room never got cleaned and restocked even though we ask, we had to change our towels, take care of the trash etc The room has a small fridge and microwave with a small sink area, mattress was very firm and pillows were too flat so sleeping was difficult We enjoyed the breakfast for the most part, it was average hotel fare

They don’t have any hand towels which I thought was odd so we used washcloth as a hand towels Parking lot is in good condition and convenient, landscaping is very well done, pool is small and was overcrowded when we tried it

First stay here was alright Room was massive and comfortable Bathroom floor was dirty

Cleaned up what looked like pee from in front of the toilet… Gross Second stay I asked the front counter for Clorox wipes, just in case And they had them Didn’t really need them though But it made me feel better Now, the second stay is not near as good The AC only turns on when it wants to… the first room, if I got hot Which I very easily do I turned on the AC No problem This one though, is controlled by an older Amana thermostat And when you make a change, it says “wait” for about 5 minutes Won’t do anything This is an overall good hotel But a three star rating is about to best it’ll get for now Also, there was hair from the last person still in the bathroom I threw away two stands before even thinking about taking a picture for the review

The entrance and lobby area are all nice and kept clean When you walk in the room, it seems clean but once you start using different items, you will notice uncleanliness The overflow hole had mold in it, the toilet seat was not sanitized and wiped properly, the bed had hair in it and the counter and dressers were very dusty

I also ask front desk to switch me to another room with just one bed and she declined and said they were full but there were only a few cars in the parking lot the entire weekend I do not recommend and will never stay with this hotel again For the price, it’s very disappointing!!!

ESTELL DARBY

This is a very nice hotel with a Starbucks bistro in the lobby So nice! Nice fitness center that is open 24 hours Everything is super clean and smells great! The carpet in the hall is so plush! Queen suite is very spacious with a tv in the bedroom and one in the living area

The cleaning crew is doing a magnificent job here Please pay them substantially for it shows that they are putting in the work! We had to ask for clean towels and they were brought promptly but housekeeping has been cut to every 3 days —yet prices have not decreased so they should be able to pay the staff well

hazey matheus

The fridge is literally the size of my lunch cooler and the closet barely fits my backpackThis is literally the smallest room I’ve ever been in I travel for work and I stay in a lot of hotels

I usually get king rooms for the space I have equipment to charge and maps to mark up daily I mean the lobby is nice I literally won’t be spending any time there but they got that going for them Second Marriott I’ve stayed at and it’s going to be the last

Wasn’t the WORST If you’re staying one night and don’t need top notch, it’s decent The main issue was the overall cleanliness of the room

There was a lot of ( extremely noticable) dust on the lamps and whatnot The balcony door wasn’t sealed and allowed the floor inside the room to get soaking wet when/after raining Don’t look under the bed! Just don’t!Beds were comfortable and service was OK Great location to the airport, 5 minutes from car rentals Balcony had a pretty cool view of the airplanes landing I was able to hear the sounds of the airplanes, but it wasn’t enough to keep me awakeIf the cleanliness was up the par, this place could have been much better

Yalande Jeffries

I was told prior before travelling, the shuttle would pick up from the airport just called the receptionist said I arrived, then called, and I was informed that the shuttle was unavailable it was 1pm and I had wait two hours I decided to take a paid vehicle instead! I also asked could check in early and when I spoke to them on phone prior no problem

Course when I arrived I was informed that the room was not ready And actually the room wasn’t ready until 4pm mind you check in at 3pm Now they waived $100 fee that was not mentioned anywhere on the website and I had no idea about The pool was unavailable why advertise?! I paid extra for balcony which I had no access to why was room more expensive Mind you the managers never spoke to me for the shuttle or my room delay I would not be recommended this hotel to anyone nor will I be returning I have stayed at five or six Best Westerns; this is a franchise and they give Best Western a bad name, an embarrassment!

Nicholas McElveen

Hotel offers a free shuttle to and from the ATL airport The free, hot breakfast was great You can smell it from the front desk! If you miss your shuttle, Uber will cost about $16

00 to the airport I took one at 6:45amRoom was clean Good amount of space! No funny smells The electrical sockets are loose on the night stand lamp, so make sure your charger stays plugged inThe front desk will give you 2 bottles of water, for free, if you ask

If I could leave more than 5 stars I would This hotel was absolutely wonderful! The location was central to many activities, dining, and bars, but the thing that made the stay truly great was the staff The night manager, Alex, was absolutely incredible

I checked in and then had an issue with my bill, so I went to talk with Alex She helped me IMMENSELY I have never experienced such wonderful customer service The way in which she took care of me made my stay one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had I will definitely stay here the next time I am in Atlanta!

Gina Britt

I have really enjoyed my stay at this hotel It is clean and lovely There’s a pool that is super fun with a bar and it is overlooks the stadium

Sometimes the crowd at the battery can be a little bit younger but at the games it is really fun and in general they did a great job of including a ton of restaurants and a big grassy areaThe best part about this hotel is that it is walking distance to everything in the area It is open container so you can grab a drink and walk around freely All of the restaurants and there have a window that opens that you can get a drink from outside without having to go inThere are a few really delicious places like super Rica for Mexican food The hotel has a bar on the second floor I believe and it is super chill I like to go there before entering into the battery and grab a drink

msteele712

Went to Atlanta to visit the aquarium Stayed here at the Omni at Battery What can I say besides WOW! Hands down one of the best hotels we’ve ever have stayed at! From the moment we pulled in to the Valet, to check in at the lobby and the cleanliness of the entire establishment is very impressive

We are not big baseball fans but we were pleasantly surprised they had games going on and the view from the rooftop bar was amazing! There were multiple conventions going on as well, but the staff was great and on top of it Always a smile and extremely helpful We even got the pleasure of running into the General Manager of the Hotel, Omar Extremely kind and humble, I wish more upper management could be like him!

Great location- Easy to get into the city, but out of the way of heavy traffic and parking issues Six flags white water is 10 min down the road The staff were so friendly and helpful

Rooms were clean and spacious They don’t have microwaves or mini fridges, and the interior of the hotel is outdated but that wasn’t a huge issue for us The breakfast buffet is phenomenal Every breakfast food you can imagine The evening kickback was amazing 3 alcoholic beverages, unlimited soft drinks and coffee, and enough food options to make a meal all included in the price of the room We will definitely be staying again on our next Atlanta trip

J C

The staff is incredible! The motel itself is descent enough nothing special The staff makes the place Stacy The manager is AMAZING, and everyone in the food area is AMAZING! I travel all the time and have been to literally hundreds of motels and never in my life have I seen a TEAM of employees put together like this!My business has brought me to Florida today and I am actually going out of my way and hitting an auto auction in Atlanta partially because I want to stay there again

Big thanks to the staff!!!! YOU ALL ARE AMAZING!

False Advertising and Car Break-ins Thoroughly unsatisfied with our time at this hotel We got pulled over by the cops in the middle of the night after turning into the hotel because they’re running suppression to scare away car thieves

Apparently the area is so unsafe, it requires three cop cars to have their lights on all night Room on the website said it included a breakfast buffet: false advertising We were directed to an overpriced Starbucks for breakfast Honestly for rooms > $180, I expected more Even the cheap hotels have a small breakfast included in the price Rooms were dry, soap bars were left in the shower, and tissue paper ran out immediatelyStay away Would not recommend, keep driving and go somewhere else

Tyler Sudeck

Really nice hotel by Marriott They usually areBut just a little bit of environmental story telling in the room I staying in got to me

See the attached picture and how apparent people miss the toilet so much its able to discolor the wall paper behind the toilet Just can’t stop looking at itWas otherwise here for just a short stay passing through over night Stayed on the first floor

Sam G.

The only thing that may be worse than the smell of weed everywhere, is the smell of hotel scents applied everywhere, to cover up the weed smell everywhereMy room could have benefited from a slight remodel also The Bathrooms are a little obsolete

I gave them an extra star, because I’m an Ambassador Elite and the young lady at the desk that checked us in actually sang Happy Birthday to me! We checked in after midnight, so I KNOW she meant it 😂She was easily the best part of my experience God Bless her 🙏🏽

The room, linens, bathroom was very clean The beds were super comfortable The lady that was working at the front desk was very nice and hospitable

Parking was free The bar/dining room was closed due to Covid We did have to pay for a muffin and coffee downstairs but there is a coffee maker and mini fridge in the room plus a microwave downstairs Computers and a printer to use if you need to Very good location

I stayed here on May 21st, 2022This is not my first time staying at a Sonesta so I expected great service of courseThe room was CLEAN & COMFY 🤩 and that’s typically my main concern with hotels

the roommss! But these were niceRooms are not large but I’d take small and clean over large and dirty any day ☺️It was also very quiet during my stayThe young black girl at the front desk was very sweet and helpful with explaining parking, etc I didn’t go to the pool but mistakenly ended up on the pool floor trying to find parking and it was niceAlso parking was only $9 I’d definitely stay here again 😁

Billy Wilson

The property itself was great The hotel and room were nice Besides the sorry excuse for a pillow (read further), the hotel itself was as billed and excellent

ButThe staff needs to cheer up Every customer interaction we saw (including ours) was met with reluctance and disgust They obviously did not want to be at work, and the guests suffered for it I called 5 days in advance to confirm our room, and was met with a very unenthusiastic employee who said we were set for two queen beds as ordered Upon arrival, we were given the wrong room, and politely asked what our options were Another unhelpful employee told they were sold out and “could either stay in that room or go somewhere else” We opted to stay, but we had 4 lousy (and I mean terrible these things sucked) pillows for 4 guests We asked for a couple more and were told they had none Really? You mean a hotel has no backup pillows?Later that evening we decided we’d go swimming The pool sign states they are open 6-11 But, the doors were chained up Again, we asked politely why the pool wasn’t open yet and they said “uhhh the hours are 11-8” At this point, I was frustrated and stated “well that’s not what the sign says,” to which I was told “we used to have a sign but someone took it down”Apparently this place has exactly one pillow per person and no one proactive enough to print off a sheet of paper to alert guests they’ve (very randomly) changed their pool hours Finally at checkout, I was greeted with a smile and a hello for the first time, so I went to that employee’s desk, but one of the rude employees cut the nice one off, called me over to her desk and made sure to send me off with a few final scowls for good measure

I booked 9 rooms for 4 days for a group taking part in an event in downtown Atlanta We had a wonderful stay at the Country Inn and Suites! The staff was friendly, professional, and customer-oriented They addressed all questions or concerns quickly and provided excellent service

The rooms were clean and nicely appointed, and the hot breakfast was abundant and delicious The location was close to the ballpark and to I-75, yet it was quiet, and it was within walking distance of a number of eateries We will definitely stay there again next time we’re in the area Thank you!

Made a reservation weeks in advance, and arrived at 6:30pm to learn that no rooms were available We were told that there were 20 dirty rooms and only 2 employees No timeframe was given

Had a hungry family with nowhere to go Was refused a refund (even though they failed their own reservation)!Absolutely unacceptable I’m encouraging no one to ever stay at this (or any) Home2Suites Amazingly poor customer service They literally don’t care about you or your family They literally could not care less

Chris Poythress

Had to move rooms 3 times, and should’ve been more, but we sucked it up In our first room, our couch was messed up and wouldn’t fold out properly In our second room, the bath tub started flooding profusely when we turned on the shower head

In the third room, again couch was messed up, but at least the shower worked!! On our morning of breakfast, there was almost no accommodations available, not nearly enough seating, and subpar breakfast that’s barely warm I’ll be asking for a refund, and will not recommend these rooms to anyone You’re essentially forced into Valet by there being almost no parking reasonably priced nearby 0/10

Nice hotel overall in a convenient location for a quick anniversary weekend The lobby and outdoor areas are nice but I noticed right away it could use new carpet in several areas The king whirlpool suite was a nice size room and the bed was comfy

We are not small people so the size of the whirlpool was a little small for us but it was nice The jets in the tub weren’t quite as strong as I would have liked but it was nice having the private hot tub I didn’t like that the knob for the hot tub was on the opposite wall as the tub so after 30 minutes you’re sitting relaxing and then it just stops but no one wants to get up to turn it back on, lol My husband thinks the place could’ve used some updating but overall it was a decent hotel

Tamara Duck Adams

The staff was friendly and pretty fantastic! My room was clean, as was the rest of the establishment I looked at a few hotels in the area, when making my decision on where to stay Other hotels were less expensive, but I chose this one because of the hot tub

The hot tub left much to be desired It wasn’t hot My bath water is far warmer and the jets are very weak The swimming pool was actually much better But sadly the weird music the hotel had blaring in the public areas made it impossible to enjoy the area

Mark Fabian

Normally, my stays here are without issuing And this last time really was no different The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable

The restaurant had a nice selection of food items as well as beveragesUnfortunately, the room that I did stay in was showing signs of meeting to be refurbished

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking your stay This web site will compare thousands of booking websites and usually will have rates a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This resort is one of the best in this area

I have been staying here for a very long time If you choose this place you definitely won’t regret itThe interior was lovely, with a huge atrium The view of the airport operations is really neat The place was absolutely spotless The staff were helpful The breakfast was superb, but very expensive We enjoyed the Western Omelette and the Blueberry pancakes with real Maple syrup We will stay there again!

Great location for av geeks Can’t beat the view just outside the fence at ATLThe hotel itself is nice; clean and comfortable

The staff are all very friendly and helpful, too Even when they were clearly busy, they took time to slow down and help me with anything I needed Very much appreciatedThe lounge and pool are currently closed (May 2022) The fitness center is nice and reasonably well equipped for a hotel gym They have the AC set nice and cold too, which it great It’s a little bit tight if there are several people in there, but it’s workable if everyone cooperatesThe restaurant has standard Marriott items, which are usually pretty good, just on the expensive side for what they are To be expected

Rich Brooks

Negatives: Busy weekend and understaffed Room Phone didnt work Plumbing did not produce water consistently and made a weird sound and would shoot out black grey at first

Positives: Great staff doing what they can with what they got I realized I lost an item after checkout and they helped me retrieve it Location to airport is great If you choose the airport side of the hotel it can be a little noisy for some but we preferred itWould stay again

Nice lobby Great water pressure for bathingUnfortunately the cons outweigh the pros:First, Im a no smoker and had to request a room change because of the heavy smell of marijuana filling the hallway and eventually my room The next days, I woke to the strong smell of cigar smoke in my room in this “nonsmoking”facilityThis hotel is on one of the busiest parkways in Atlanta Traffic is nonstop and at a high rate of speed There are no sidewalks so walking across the street to the convention center or mall is not safe There is a walk bridge but you have to leave the property to get to it The service elevator to the road leading to the bridge was down, however; so be prepared if you are planning to shop and carry back heavy itemsAlso, I was advised after the fact that you now have to request housekeeping services for your room to be tended “because of the pandemic”

The rooms were fresh and clean Service staff was very friendly and supper responsive Breakfast team knocked it out of the park

Remembering our tables coffee order ever day Front desk was supper Location is great for getting to a Braves game The Cumberland mall is a bit dated but good meal options No safe way to cross the street from the hotel parking garage to the mall so be careful The Galleria mall is ready to be used as a 1980s horror movie set 1989 called and said to stop using their style

Patrick Labbett

We had some issues, but overall the hotel service was good! The vanity mirror had a frayed cord and caused a spark, and they shut off the water and elevators without notice on 1 day of our 5 night stay for maintenance We probably wouldn’t have noticed except my wife was in the shower at the time and then couldn’t get downstairs from the 16th floor to ask about the water The lobby is nicer than the rooms, which could use a renovation, but were otherwise fine

Use the garage elevator to the mall to access the walkway across to The Battery – it’s a pleasant walk

Upon check-in the staff was very friendly and the room was clean They even called later to make sure I was happy with the room The breakfast buffet had a good selection which included my favorite, waffles

The food area was well attended so no items got low and the food area stayed clean There is a free shuttle that was on time I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again

If you’re looking for a comfortable room near the Atlanta airport, Country Inn & Suites is a good choice We stayed here during a cross country road trip from the west to the east coast Our room was a little dated, although the bathroom had been renovated and was clean and inviting

But two things make this place worthy of consideration: First, all the important things in the room functioned well (comfortable bed, TV, hot water, outlets, WiFi, etc) Second, the staff was extremely friendly We were welcomed as friends by the front desk agent who pleasantly chatted with us and recommended a nearby place to have dinner The next morning as we were having breakfast, I observed the staff working together with lots of smiles and laughter It is heartwarming to see hotel staff enjoying their work day and each other It makes guests feel encouraged and comfortable The hotel features a complimentary breakfast with reasonably good coffee and several choices for food I opted to split a waffle with my wife along with a bowl of Cheerios But they also had eggs, sausage, biscuits, oatmeal, yogurt, and fruit, although the bananas were a little riper than I prefer I was also pleased to see that coffee was available in the evening, and it was hot So many times hotels claim to offer evening coffee, but it’s just morning coffee that has been sitting in a carafe all day and is lukewarm at best All in all, we had a good stay at Country Inn & Suites and would not hesitate to choose it again when in the area

Excellent little hotel Please ignore the “surrounding area” reviews below as that is coded language, that probably should be reconsidered before use🧐🙃😏Linens were as clean and fresh as I make sure mine are at home

Room was so clean I used clorox wipes EVERYWHERE and NOTHING came up while wiping down Bathroom was immaculate, modern, and I loved the cool techie mirror ☺️The sweet lady at the front desk was awesome and accommodating She suggested a restaurant within walking distance, and offered a coupon It was some of the best food I’ve ever had Walking distance from two gas stations and convenience stores Cute little porch area outside complete with rocking chairs Free airport shuttle 6 minutes from the airport if that What more can you actually ask for at such great rates? Will be returning! 😊🤎

Very nice hotel Front desk staff and bellman very attentive Room wad very nice and comfortable

Very convenient to have a restaurant and bar in the hotel Restaurant staff friendly but after we were seated, it took a long time to be greeted by our server We even had to ask if our server knew we were seated? Server apologized couple of times for being slow to greet us Server was friendly and cordial Food choices not extensive, but was good Will go back to this hotel next time we fly somewhere

The location was great The staff and the promptness of their service was 5 stars! The atmosphere lacked the level of sophistication and upkeep I’m use to when staying at a Marriott hotelThe carpet was stained and the TV didn’t work properly

The pool was cloudy blue I stayed on the 9th floor and it didn’t smell pleasant at all The windows are super thin and the highway traffic can be clearly heard The toilet handle was broken and kept getting stuck and not filling up There was no soap or conditioner in the containers (when I called they brought it right away) The hotel phone only work on speaker and the outlet didn’t work so my phone never charged The door needed to be forced shut or it stayed ajar (huge safety issue)The handicapped front door did not stay open long enough when my mom walked through it closed on her every timeWhen traveling the attention to detail matters

This is a 2 star hotel with makeup on Firstly booked one room and it smelled of urine Booked a different room because of this

Upon leaving we realized we left a charger we called the front desk and they said they would get it Approximately an hour later we come back and the front desk claim they did not see it Go back to the room to see the house cleaner cleaning the room and he stated he did in fact find the charger and he would bring it to the new room This never happened I’m have now been sitting at the front desk for 15 minutes waiting on “someone” to help me Still have not seen anyone They clearly stole the charger The bathrooms are gross Rust everywhere Tubs dirty The drains don’t drain well The sink pooled with water after being turned on for a few seconds We had cold water last night that we had to wait to get fixed The room is so moist the bedding also seems wet And The people are rude DO NOT STAY HERE IT IS DISGUSTING THIS IS NO LONGER AN UPSCALE HOTEL Ps I’m wrote this whole review and I am still waiting for someone

I have never actually stayed at this hotel but I park my car here regularly when I’m going out of town The property feels safe and well cared for But the customer service has Always gone above and beyond

Sheri at the front desk always has a bright smile and positive attitude But, on top of that, she goes out of her way to be helpful She showed me that I save money booking directly through the hotel versus using the app And today, she and the morning team went above and beyond to help me catch the morning airport shuttle One person, who wasn’t even a front desk associate, ran ahead of me to punch in the parking lot code so I could drive right through The shuttle driver waited for me and pulled around so I could hop on If this is the kind of service they provide for someone just parking there, I can only imagine the service their guests receive

Long story, short: there’s a lot of hotels in the area, just stay somewhere else unless you want to deal with subpar housekeepingFull story: I stayed here last week, in town for a conference I had an early flight and arrived to the hotel around 8:30am

I have the Marriott app and received a notification to check in early 2 days prior The app lets you put what time you expect to arrive and I put 8am When my flight landed, I called the hotel to confirm my room was ready and that I’d be able to check in I had only gotten 2 hours of sleep and was ready to lay down and take a nap I called three times and couldn’t get through It just rang and then hung up I eventually got through and the woman confirmed that she saw I checked in with an arrival of 8am and that my room was ready When I got to the hotel, the gentleman (who drove the airport shuttle but was now at the desk) said that I would have to pay the early check in fee of $75 No where was that stated in writing, at no point when I checked in on the app did it give me a warning that I would have to pay an additional fee Because I was so tired and didn’t want to sit in the lobby until noon, I just agreed to pay it But if you already have rooms that are available and don’t require any additional work by housekeeping I think the fee is unnecessaryWhen I went up to my room, the elevator floor was dirty and had a roll of toilet paper in it In my room, the shower was not clean I went back downstairs and asked for another room It took awhile for the woman to find another available room but she was nice and apologetic which I appreciated it (young lady with black braids)When I got to the next room, it wasn’t better Again, the shower was not properly cleaned There was some hair in it At this point I was just exhausted and got out my cleaning wipes and wiped down the shower myself I wiped down everything in the room just to be safe Later on, I noticed crumbs on the carpet so it looks like the room was never vacuumed either or at least not thoroughlyThat afternoon I was preparing to take a shower and realized I was missing wash cloths, hand towels, and a bath mat Only had 2 bath towels I called the desk and I had to go downstairs to pick them up Bathroom was also missing a wastebasket The room overall needs some updating and repair The shower door was slightly broken tooUnfortunately, I have a friend who also stayed in a different room and had an even worse experience with her room So it wasn’t just meThe positive: Upon checking out, the woman at the desk was so pleasant and friendly Kudos to her (I think she works the night shift)

DO NOT STAY IN ROOM 114 IT SMELLS LIKE URINE IN BETWEEN THE DOUBLE BEDS BY THE NIGHTSTAND IT SMELLS TERRIBLE IN THAT ROOM

THAT SMELL WILL NEVER GO AWAY The rooms are dirty Housekeeping should clean counter tops and surfaces and not leave dirty streaks everywhere There was NO SHAMPOO OR CONDITIONER IN THE SHOWER DISPENSER SO I HAD TO USE A BAR OF SOUP TO WASH MY HAIR NOT GOOD The floors are greasy and slippery pretty nasty The workers are nice and accommodating when you need assistance Beds are comfortable pillows are comfortable and just right Pool was nice

The property is beautiful The staff is great The rooms are comfortable

I was there for 4 weeks, (different room, each week) For the most part an excellent experience I do feel they need to make better use of the facilities to generate better revenue Lounge hours are pretty minimal for the beautiful bar room they are under using The restaurant, Hamilton’s is only open for the breakfast buffet What? You could do so much more with this place! Nowfor the rest Pillows are terrible, the TV reception is awful Each room I stayed in, the TV lost signal exactly an hour into use Never to restore Every room smelled strongly of men’s aftershave upon arrival The breakfast buffet has serious temp issues Hot foods remain warm at best Dont hesitate to check cleanliness I didn’t realize it until I went to use it However there was a bunch of long black hairs all over the shower walls I mean I can see how things can get overlooked when rushed But, that was a bit much Other than these few strange things, the place was amazing Loved it!

Out of all the vendors, restaurants, venues, etc, this was the ONLY disappointment of our wedding weekendI’ll start with the positives: the hotel and suite were very nice looking, the breakfast was very good, and the servers were friendly

Now on to the bad We had been in contact and signed our hotel block contract with Debbie 11 months ahead of time She promised us several things that apparently turned out not to be true (these were not in writing, so shame on us for that)- We were promised that we could increase the size of our hotel block whenever we wanted; turns out that’s not true- We were promised that if we booked x% of our hotel block that we would be given our suite for free; turns out that was not true- We were promised to have a private room for breakfast for all our guests; turns out that’s not true unless we paid a significant fee for it- At a certain point Debbie stopped responding to any and all of our attempts to reach out, and when we finally got a hold of somebody else at the hotel we were told that Debbie had retired After explaining everything that Debbie had told us, the new staff essentially said they didn’t promise it and that’s not how it works so tough luck The only consolation that we got from the hotel was after my wife going back and forth with them, they were gracious enough to give us a suite for the same cost as the block and not full priceFor a company in the hospitality industry, this was the worst customer service we’ve experienced and do not recommend using them

Jennifer Waldeck

The property is very pretty and the room was comfortable with a golf course view However, there is nothing to to eat here between breakfast and dinner And front desk staff JORGE couldn’t care less

Customer service abysmal in this regard Sent me next door to a golf grill that didn’t even appear to have table servicea snack bar And it was closed for a private event I went back to front desk and he wanted to argue with me that he had no way of knowing that Well when the only option on the property for food is closed for a private event and that’s where the front desk is sending people, I feel like they need to make it their business to know The pro shop was suggested the perhaps I could find a bag of chips there Or the so-called pantry which also had chips and day-old boxed salads This is completely unacceptable and the attitude at the front desk was worse They acted like this is completely normal and that the expectation that a guest would be able to find lunch in a huge, full-service resort hotel seemed unreasonable to them I might as well have stayed at a lower end Hilton Garden Inn

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful The free breakfast was good and the lady making it was friendly and helpful They had a working pool which kept the kids occupied

The complaint we had was that the housekeepers didn’t clean our rooms none of the 4 days that we requested it The faucet was running constantly until we figured out how to turn it a certain way to stop it Other than that it wasn’t terrible but I will probably choose a different option next time

Brent Fidler

The location was convenient for my stay As far as a Holiday Inn Express goes, it’s not one of the nicer ones However, there is ample parking, the staff was very welcoming, the rooms were clean, and the breakfast what is the typical for this type of hotel

There is not much in the way of non-fast food chain restaurants for dining However I would highly recommend the Olive Tree right in front of the hotel

Room overall was okay Front desk service was okay It was great to have a fridge and microwave in the room

When we took a shower the tub filled up with water Knob was loose so it took a minute to get the right water temperature Sink filled up with water too when brushing teeth Same situation with the sink handle No complementary lotion, shower caps etc when I got into my room Room bath towels were very small Room had a weird smell but seemed clean Free breakfast was not great Would be nice to have a better variety of things ( eg: tea bags, breads to toast, fresh fruit) I will most likely never stay at this hotel again when I return
