Beautiful stay! The moment that we opened the door to room 902, I was so impressed just how clean The view was amazing and the condo has everything you need The appliances were in very good condition and the kitchen had everything you need, including a crockpot

The floor was so clean, that a wet wipe barely picked anything up It’s so beautifully decorated and we loved everything about it! The check in and check out was effortless The area felt very safe and family oriented I was nervous bringing 2 teen girls, but it felt comfortable enough to let them have a little time for themselves The property has a gate, which requires a code to enter for the guests Parking was very easy Made some great memories during our stay and hope to see it all again!

As I am seating in the balcony enjoying my morning coffe with a nice view, I can smell the Marijuana smoke coming from everywhere7am 12pm 6pm 10pmI understand the medical or recreational usage of this plant but come on, is way to much to go unnoticed

Is very difficult when you have kids that can’t go out to the balcony and enjoy the view while reading a book without the constant odor and smoke coming out of everywhereIs unfortunate, but I don’t think I’ll be back

The room was none and clean, the staff was helpful and friendly, and we didn’t want for a thing! Extra towels and other toiletries were no problem The continental breakfast was pretty good The T

V and wifi was good I will be staying here next visit and I highly recommend! The ONLY thing I could even critique would be water pressure in the shower, but it started hot and it was clean, so really no complaints!

My spouse, kids, and I were in Panama City on our way to South Florida to deal with an unexpected family emergency We ended up needing to stay the night and pulled up to this Wingate hotel expecting to spend much more than we really had available Andre was at the front desk and he was SO understanding and helpful of our situation! He gave us a good price and even brought out towels as our 2

5 year old & 10 month old had gotten soaked in the rainThe hotel room itself was superb, the hot tub was a welcome reprieve from the stress we were under, and the complimentary breakfast was much appreciatedAndre was working again the next morning when we went to check out and he was just as accommodating, professional, and friendly I could not recommend this place enough! Thank you, thank you, thank you, Andre & Wingate! We will stay there again next time we find ourselves in the area

Rooms were so so clean By far one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed at Staff was beyond friendly and helpful

Lobby was extremely clean and well maintained Not super crowded and easy to get to A little far from the beach but worth the drive The bathroom was unbelievable It had a huge walk in shower and we loved the complimentary shampoo and conditioner choices (Paul mitchell) I have nothing bad to say about this hotel! Would definitely stay here again and 100% recommend

Alaura Bee

I just drove across the country and stayed at four different places and this was by far the nicest hotel room at a fair price Clean Spacious

Like a very big room With full size couch and 2 tv I saw a review for bugs Checked None here Comfy bed and I could go into many more details But I can confirm it’s is very nice

Jaqwonna Brooks

Great hotel the only thing I want to warn people of do not stay in room 121 if you like to sleep in peace The food prep room is next door and they woke us up at 5am slamming pots and pans and slamming things up against the wall I went to the front desk around 6:30 am because we just couldn’t take it anymore to ask them to please have them stop banging up against the wall

The front desk guy was like “well they are fixing breakfast “ and I’m like well I’ve cooked breakfast all my life and I’ve never had to bang on a wall or slam things up against a wall to cook breakfast Other than that issue I don’t have any complaints I just want others to be aware especially if you’re pregnant like myself and know how important sleep is On top of that we drove 9 hours to get to the location so we definitely needed sleep Breakfast attendant needs to be a little more considerate of people sleeping in the morning

Hotel is hidden in a residential safe area close to everything! Our room was spacious and beds were comfortable The bathroom is a little snugged but the atmosphere was good overall The food at Tides Restaurant was good & the server Tracy made it a fun experience for the kids, GREAT JOB!Overall, it was clean

Customer service was 👍 good Everyone at hotel was kid friendly which to us, & THAT EXPERIENCE made a big difference Parking was nice and well litOther than minor cosmetic stuff around hotel, its a nice Sheraton to go back to and visit Definitely recommend!

Lynne Killingsworth

We just returned from 3 nights here Total cost was around $900 just for the room (no food/drink) I can say our room (3116) is a perfect location directly in front of the pier and beside the pool

You can hear the pool activity (lots of small kids) during the day and they showed a movie at night, but by 11, it was quiet outside The pools are really small, hot and crowded Since daily I passed right by the huge, quiet spa pool I went in and inquired about using it I was pretty rudely told only if I booked a spa service could I use it I wasn’t offered a services menu and the was no mention of a day pass The next day as I went by, there was a family with several kids and rafts in there, so I suppose they had a family spa service(?)The private area on the bay is a decent little walk, and could be hard for some Chairs are provided, but several are broken (same at the pool) We drove down Thomas Dr to a public beach access Parking is an issue at these, so plan on walking a bit There are lots of really good restaurants very close to this resortOverall, not a bad experience, but I would stay elsewhere next time I would recommend looking at a site map and requesting your room location as to whats important to you Ours was accidentally awesome, but others in our party were really inconvenient

Hello There

What an incredible stay My wife & I were at the resort for Memorial day weekend and it was blast The staff, the food, and the live entertainment was great

But, above all else it was Gary & Kathryn helping us to have an awesome time I hope that the decision makers are paying attention and relive they have to hold on to their rock star employees and give them a promotion, paid vacation, and raise The hotel area is wonderful and the backbone of any business is it’s employees

My eye for cleanliness when we stay in a hotel is over the top But I like it that way And so does my family

That being said the room smelled nice when we first walked in The bed was clean The bathroom was clean The tub passed my personal test because my girls and I love to soak in the bath and it has to be CLEEAAN! Also All the staff I have spoken to are very polite I would definitely stay here again -Mrs H

Lali CT

The facilities were clean and nicely decorated The staff was very nice and friendly Our room was very nice, clean and it had a microwave and mini fridge

I do have to mention that there are train tracks next to the hotel but I only heard the train once during our whole stay A lot of restaurants nearby and the beach is approximately 17 minutes away

James M

Convenient location, up to date building and rooms, cold AC (!!!) and friendly staffIf I had a complaint it’s the breakfast was a bit scant, no pancake/waffle machine or hot breakfast They have muffins, toast and bagels, a fridge with yogurt, cereal and some fruit

Not a deal breaker in any ways, but the one “negative” I would call out

Melissa was great I believe she is one of the Managers She made things quick and was friendly with great customer service

The hotel is in great walking distance The down side was the stuffy rooms, gloomy dark hallways and the lack of cleaning to the pool The room was decent and better than most hotel beaches but can stand for improving on cleaniness and updates

Julius Burton

Me and my family had a fair time there Cool room, stylish and comfortable Excellent hot breakfast and not to mention right in the heart of all the entertainment and only minutes away from the beach

However, the only reason I’m giving 3 stars is customer service Upon checking in, a few of the customer service staff seemed very rude and I noticed one was silently saying ugly things about my wife but thought I wasn’t noticing which was very unprofessional and childish And just didn’t feel accepted Just wanted to relax and enjoy our stay, but all is well So, our experience anyway sure everyone else’s are differentbut not sure if in town again probably won’t be our first choice is all

Jasmine Jones

Such a disappointing experience My fiancé and I added 2 extra days to our trip last minute so we stayed here our last two days, while there I was verbally and almost physically attacked by a front desk employee while trying to fix a problem they created by charging me twice for the same stay She even went as far as to call me “stupid”, which is completely ludicrous for that to leave a customer service rep’s mouth in the presence of customers no less

When I reached out to the front desk manager, who witnessed the altercation, nothing was done even after the front desk manager agreed that her employees behavior was out of line I then reached out the the hotel manager which was useless seeing as he never even bothered to get back to me If you’re looking for a pleasant vacation this is not the place to go The beginning days of our trip we’re wonderful and stress free because we did NOT stay at this location If I could give negative stars to this location it would be well deserved

Let me just start by saying the employees here were extremely nice and we would definitely give them 5 stars, so this review really only applies to rates that we were charged by Marriott Corporate Unfortunately we were staying here for a tragic accident involving our four year old grandson who was on life support at the local hospital As you can imagine, it is every parent and grandparents worst nightmare

Our stay was extended because our grandson became an organ donor and this can be a long and painful process, but we are so proud that we changed the lives of other families The other families were staying at another big name hotel across the street They kindly offered a sympathy rate of $7500 a night We asked everyday if our rates could be reduced or for any help at all The employees tried very hard for us but the manager offered no help or sympathy and turned us down each request The first night we were given a “senior” discount of $152 Oddly enough the rate jumped to $169 for the second night, $189 for the third night, and finally $166 for the fourth night which was a four hour stay given we did not return to the hotel until 1:30 am after his Honor walk We paid for our son to stay one night and their rate ended up being $170 How sad that a large corporate and profitable company can’t do more for customers (we are members) when tragedy strikes

Michele Edwards

If your car survives the massive pot holes on the road to the hotel you will be greeted by a nice looking hotel with a clean quiet lobby Hope your not looking forward to the convenience of grabbing breakfast or lunch at the hotel lobby though, because the bar area is closed this weekend Oh and the elevator is broken so we had the pleasure of hauling all the bags up the stairs

Just to be greeted by a room with a handle that is so hard to push down it took two of us to get in the room Canceling the rest of the nights we had reserved and moving on to another hotel The Townplace Suites right behind the Courtyard is so much better

Jessie Klunk

Was asked to come into a interview at 11am today When I show up, the managers are not in, and didn’t feel the need to let me know not to come in They say they will call me back to re schedule , which was fine, But after I left 20 minutes later sent me a email saying they are moving on with there hiring process and I wasn’t accepted

Wasted time/ money , and that was very unprofessional!

We were here for quite some time (almost 4 months) Although the hotel was a little dated and we could have gone somewhere else, we stayed because the staff here were so kind We were treated like family

The manager, Scott, was amazing and got us anything we needed The housekeepers were like gifts from God going out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable Being able to grill outside by the pool was great Their maintenance men work so hard keeping all these areas nice The beds themselves were comfortable I never saw a single bug anywhere The only thing I really didn’t like was the color of the walls (it’s like a mustard-type color) I know Scott is working hard on the updates I look forward to these changes

Jennifer Strange

The rooms was very clean and the staff was very professional The only BAD thing about this place is if you plan to pay cash for your stay The property has to have a debit or credit card to authorize for the full amount of the stay plus $20 extra per night They will run this transaction at the time of check in and will tell you when you check out you can pay cash and the pre authorized charges will be returned to your card

That is a lie! They will return them but it may take 7 to 10 business days which they do not tell you So, as of now I have paid over $1700 for a 3 night stay for my $800 that was charged to my card has not been refunded which put me in a very bad financial bind!

Nikki Lauer

We just got here today and it’s not the Marriott standard at all They allow pets which is great but our room smells so strongly of a wet dog and bug spray I keep feeling little bites and I’m really hoping its not fleas

I did stop by the desk to mention the smell and the front desk girl said she was sorry Not a very good experience so far

The hotel can not control noisy people I, along with people staying in other downstairs rooms, were extremely annoyed by what sounded like a playground above It is absolutely unreal how nonstop the running and jumping was all day and night

The noise can not be emphasized enough You WILL hear every step, every door shut in the hallway as well The same noisy herd also swarmed the complimentary breakfast, nearly rendering it unappetizing Complimentary breakfast includes waffles that guests have to make themselves with a waffle maker The serving area is too small, so multiple people wait in a cluttered area for their turn at the waffle maker, standing in the way of anyone who wants to get to other selections They also seemed to trash up the pool, leaving their goggles or towels everywhere This hotel somehow attracts crowds of unruly people as if it was advertised specifically to them The TV can also be heard from the next room The gym should put instructions on the equipment and monitor it and make sure unsupervised kids stay out There is a car wash next door, so there is also the occasional bass booming car radio Approaching from the north requires a u-turn on a major boulevard The TV did not have a channel guide Stay away if you don’t like noise

KAREN SAXON

Really nice place with friendly staff Pool needs cleaning and so does the juice machine Breakfast was cold muffins and dirty juice because the juice machine needed cleaning so we went out every morning but that first

We let the girl at the front desk know but the next day it was still nasty soother than this and the carpets needing a good cleaning, it was really a place in a good area

Sacorya Ware

Might have given 4 stars BUT… BOB (the manager) makes the guest plunge the hotel’s clogged toilet Paid over $200 for 1 night Didn’t expect to have to work on my vacation due to faulty plumbing‼️ Why is their No on site maintenance person for this price point⁉️ Do better smh

Also, I could hear everything going on in the rooms above and beside me Music, TV, talking, walking etc May as well had a sheet dividing the rooms

We stayed in SW1522 the view was amazing, it was very spacious and quiet there majority of the condos are personly owned The security is rude, and not helpful

It’s ok to be strict and keep things nice , but there is also common sense that to be nice and helpful to those staying there only 1 car per unit can park underground, any others have to go to emerald resort in person an purchase a 2500 parking pass The pool is huge, the beach is quiet and amazing

Kyle Anderson

We’ve been staying here now for 10 years and we have stayed in multiple units with 2, 3 and 4 bedrooms and for the most part the rooms have been great as well as the service But this year will most likely be our lastThe property as a whole is still really nice and very well maintained but we have had a few issues with cleanliness when we arrived and just random things wrong with the units, and that is a reflection on the cleaning/maintenance services used by Resort Collection, not the property or the owner of the unit

I should say that our issues have been handled to the best of their ability after the fact, BUT these are issues that should have not been present in the first placeWe have also already looked at the rental prices for next year and they are almost double what we paid this year We are already paying a premium price and not getting a premium unit like we have here in the past So why would I pay that much more to continually get a sub-par product?

Jamie Forester

If there was a negative – I would rate it negative I have workers sandblasting cement right outside my room

it is a disaster Ron at Soleil was a big help Carleene; Charlene she doesn’t belong in customer serviceBut regardless, I cannot leave my room without walking through concrete and a group of workers I do have pics and audio/video I would not waste my money on this place

I never write reviews, but our stay was so pleasant here, I had to! Just about every single staff member we met was extremely nice and caring Eric in the dining area was amazing, you can tell a kind soul when you meet one He always made sure our kids were smiling and having a great time

Everything was clean and kept well I would recommend this hotel to anyone

This was my favorite IHG Holiday in so far, mostly for the element of surprise it offered When I drove up to the property my face 😔 From the outside it looked like an older hotel, so braced for the worst

I drove under the awning and walked into the lobby and it was beautiful! I had to tell the front clerk my initial thought! She told me the hotel had been renovated in 2019 It was comfy stay! The breakfast was bomb! (Restaurant style 😃)Heated pool and hot tub It’s also conveniently located across from the mall, Burlington and a couple other stores within walking distance! I’ll be back!

The hotel was very clean and updated The room was spacious We always clean the bathroom ourselves when we first arrive at a hotel (you would be surprised just how much is left behind) but this one was very clean on our wipes

The staff was super friendly and accommodating Shanese at the front desk, Janice at bar, Briana at breakfast buffet The indoor pool and jacuzzi were very clean The grounds were nice This will be our hotel from now on when we visit Cannot say one bad thing

Lovely and spacious condos Very clean Beautiful balcony views

My family will definitely return next summer However the elevators were extremely slow and packed The average wait was 30 minutes By the time the elevator reached your floor you would have to wait another 30 minutes due to limited capacity Hoping the elevators can be updated in the near future

Erin Battershell

The pools were all beautiful and location is so convenient to the beach Lots of areas to picnic, walk, and the lake fountain show was a nice end to a long day of fun in the sun Like most reviews state the elevators are a disaster, and make leaving the condos a real chore on vacation

If you can accept it as is, then you will be fineand the main elevators are much faster than the ones by the garage The other issue is there are not enough sand cleaning stations and the 3 they have do not work well, only a small trickle of water Plus the lines are so long because there is not enough for a complex of this size Elevators would be a major structural overhaul, but water stations for keeping sand out of the condos would be an easy fix

First off I will say that our condo itself was very nice and clean However that’s where the good part ends The elevators are pure hell

I will even go as far to say they create a safety hazard for the guest That is something that needs to be addressed ASAP I’m a type 1 diabetic and when I have to walk up 22 flights of non air conditioned stairs to get to my room because your elevators do not work properly or are over worked that’s a huge problem It’s also a huge problem when my daughter has to carry a 7 month old up 22 flights of non air conditioned stairs to get to the room for the same reason Your web site says it’s a 500 meter walk to the beach This is false It may be a 500 meter walk from your sidewalk to the beach but that does not count the very long walk from our room to the sidewalk You don’t even offer any kind of shuttle at least to the sand Also the check in process is a complete cluster mess We are very disappointed with our stay at Laketown and will not be back nor recommend it to anyone else

Amazing spot! Arrived after hours and was able to check in no problem Extremely friendly and informative staff at check inThe room was very spacious! My goodness so much space everywhere

Not cheapo appliances either and a nice washer and dryer included in the unit as well! Sofa sleeper was very comfy as well Plenty of closets to store things too Internet nice and fast! A screened in balcony with table and chairs included Two bedrooms, two king beds and two sofa sleepers and two bathrooms one with a tub and one with a shower onlyPool was perfect with a full array of books so you didn’t feel like you were on top of anyone Plenty of table, chairs and chaise lounges It was never an issue to find a spot Zero entry walk in or stairs for the pool A nice sized whirlpool as well Love how there was a volleyball net in the water and volleyball available There is a bin too that has a few random pool toys and noodles available as well! All around the pool was some activities, corn hole, a little putt putt practice area, some other lawn games and the playground with splash zone right there as well A bar available poolside as well with reasonably priced craft beers/beers on top and a few alcoholic beverages and snacks etcWeekly activities were provided by a wonderful team and my whole family enjoyed it! Bingo, trivia, tie dye, s’mores night and ceramic painting to name a few! Plus we also enjoyed the meal and snack specials from unlimited topping take and bake pizza on Sunday to nacho night to chili dog night to afternoon cookout and pancake breakfast All activities were very reasonable in price as wellLocation was perfect and in a nice quiet spot away from the main noise and action but not too far from it either Definitely loved this resort and all the thoughtful detailsThis resort also has bike rentals available too and had a few options for families like a smaller bike or trailer etc

Our Favorite Vacation Spot of all time!! This is our 3rd year staying a week at a time and I love all staff both at the front desk, pool bar and room attendants every single time! Mini apartments are always super clean, I love love love it ! The kitchen, the washer and dryer, the screened in balcony’s overlooking the pool !!! 😍😍😍 It’s a dream, and we won’t be staying anywhere but here when we vacation ! My kids love the pool , they’d rather stay here all vacation instead of the beach and outside areas ! It’s so quiet, so peaceful and so relaxing !!! We are thinking to visit twice a year instead of once just to stay here!! Thank you so much for your warm and welcoming hospitality Marriott’s Legends Edge at Bay Pointe ! We adore you all !

The staff are polite The rooms are nice Need more sitting furniture in the living room

The property is small After staying at Marriott Vacation clubs all around the US I’d say this is a well below average property The property is in an older area, high traffic area No beach No beach access Definitely much better choices in the area
